It was so delicious! Its Chinese food that suits the Korean palate well, but some people may find the spice flavor a bit strong, but I found it very delicious! General tao chicken? This tastes like sweet and juicy Chinese chicken. The chili beef was also delicious, but this one has a bit of a spicy flavor. It was so great!

Everything here is great. I highly recommend the Hakka shrimp. Their shrimp are large and cooked perfectly. Really the best shrimp in the city. The place is clean and the service is fantastic. You must try and trust me youll be back.

We were visiting Danforth from Vancouver and we came across this wonderful restaurant. The food and the service was top notch. We had chicken lollipop, special chowmein and beef chilli. Loved it overall. Will come again!

We decided to order the hot and sour soup and 2 combos- shrimp and fried rice and Manchurian beef and veg chow mein. All 3 dishes were flavourful and delicious and we had leftovers. Very good value. Ive been getting the chili chicken combo for years and it was always just ok. But ever since they got new management the flavor has improved significantly. I really get the hakka taste. The spicy level is just right. And the portion for the price is excellent. I highly recommend the chili chicken combo!

Excellent tasty food and quick service. The portions were huge and we left with leftovers for a whole other dinner! Prices were very reasonable for the portion size. Most importantly the customer service was great and they were careful to accommodate for my many allergies. Recommending the basil fried rice it was a unique and strong flavour that I don t usually get from fried rices. Overall highly recommended if you are in the mood for Hakka!

I walked in for their lunch special, and I was not disappointed. I got the general tao chicken, and it was exactly what I wanted. The food was tasty, and the price was on point for a lunch special. The service was great as well! Definitely give ot a try for a quick lunch. It hit the spot.

Came for Shanghai noodles and I was surprised. The large plate came out piping hot, cooked perfectly. Great taste, excellent service. Will return soon.

Delicious! I keep coming back for the Manchurian Chicken although I am now eager to try the Chilli Beef as Ive been told its Fatimahs favourite dish at Hakka Chopsticks. This place is great! Great value, huge portions and absolutely delicious food! Its owned and operated by a lovely family to boot! One of my new favourite restaurants!!!

I had the beef and rice special and a side of chow mein, my husband had sweet and sour chicken. Everything was flavourful and freshly cooked. You don t even mind waiting for your food if you know it s gonna be fresh. Price was really good even came with a soft drink. Mom and pop businesses need to be saved. Fast food chains are doing okay but family business are struggling so support Hakka chopsticks because they are good. Thanks Hakka we will be back

3 weeks ago we decided to eat local. We wandered along Danforth, near Main and spotted HAKKA Chopsticks , so we wandered in and was greeted by Nadia, the owner. Being our first time there we tried 2 Special Combos; Manchurian Fish with egg fried rice and Hakka Tofu with Chilli tofu with broccoli. My partner being a real foodie wanted to taste it all and thoroughly enjoyed both the fish and tofu meals, as did I. We will definitely be back to try more of HAKKA s delicious dishes and welcoming hospitality. Vegetarian options: Tasty and colourful!

5 of us, 3 ladies and 1 gentleman, dined in between 6pm and 7pm on Suunday, April 21, 2024. We all had a very pleasant dining experience. The food was phenomenal and plentiful, totalling $81.10. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to another visit to this place the next time we are in the area and in the mood for Chinese food. The food was fantastic. Every single dish we got was a banger. Zero complaints. The only single knock we had was that we were surprised to find out at the end of our meal that fortune cookies are an extra charge. 50 cents a piece, which we found out when paying. Other than that, the prices were actually quite reasonable. We ordered 5 dishes for 5 people, had leftovers for 1, and paid about $62 after tax and 10% auto service charge.

Ordered their chicken sweet corn soup. The soup tasted OK but the chicken pieces were mostly the fatty part of the meat. I didnt find a single piece of good chicken and Im pretty certain it was old chicken. I have worked in restaurant before and I know what old chicken smells like. It made throw up. I have provided a photo of the pieces. You judge for yourselves.

Having tried Hakka Chopsticks Chow Mein recently, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of their dish. The owner and their family were super sweet and accomaditing. The order took slightly longer than expected (not even more than 10 min) and she came out to me and my dog to explain the situation and even offered an umbrella for the weather outside as I waited with my dog. She went above and beyond my standards. On top of that, the food was amazing. I will come back!

We got chicken lollipops and chicken Manchurian gravy. The price was higher than what I usually pay in hakka restaurant, so naturally I expected better quality good. But unfortunately the food was a little disappointing. The jumbo chicken Lollipop have no spice or flavour, and pretty sure they were turkey legs not chicken. The Manchurian gravy was decent, but had like 3 pieces of chicken.

Worst Chinese food I ever had,nothing was fresh ,hot and sour chicken soup was without chicken was like I was having a water in a soup bowl, vegetable fried rice was without vegetables. Chicken pakora was without chicken,Mexican chill chicken was garbage. Everything was tasteless .I think its because old Chinese couple owners sold the place and new owners kept the name and style but whoever is cooking doesnt know the hakka style Chinese taste.Does not recommend to any one.waste of money No taste but definitely cheap prices

We ordered three dishes. All of them were EXTREMELY salty. They offered to replace the dishes and the new ones were also salty.

I ordered 4 items ( Mexican chilli chicken, beef chilli , egg fried rich and Thai chicken soup ) at 8:55pm for collection last night (04/29/2023 ) , I went there at 9:25 .. they told me 20 min but I went there after 30 min .. still I have to waited 12 min more ( but the lady work in counter didn t even said sorry for that ) .. they gave me vegetable soup ( I didn t ordered) .. beef chilli was so horrible test. 2 items were wrong .. so I called them last night about the order .. someone told me that owner left the restaurant so he can t do anything now .. so he will call me today ( 04/30/2023) but nobody called till now ..12 am . I would recommend .. please don t except good services or tasty food from here

NEW MANAGEMENT!! I was a regular here until the management changed. The prices have gone up and the chefs from before no longer work there. I ordered 2 dishes that came up to $33. I was told each dish would be able to feed 2 people. When I opened up the dishes they were so light and was not filled to the top as promised.The beef Manchurin was barely half full and was so incredibly bland. That costed me $15. My regular dish was the chilli chicken and it is not the same anymore. They changed up the way its cooked and the dishes were very bland. It is either bland, too salty, or spicy. The dishes no longer have any depth of flavour and the prices do not justify it. I can longer come here and justify the quality and prices of this place. The quality has dropped after new the management take-over.

My recent visit to Hakka Chopsticks left me utterly dismayed. The quality of the food was shockingly terrible, characterized by flavorless and badly prepared dishes. Even a full refund and compensation for the time and disappointment cannot make up for this woeful experience. It is imperative that the restaurant takes immediate action to address these issues. This level of substandard food simply cannot be considered edible.

First of all, each and every food we had was really really delicious. Portions were perfect as well according to the prices. The lady who took our order and served us the food was so generous and kind. She even helped us with good recommendations of food choices. I loved the place so much. I highly recommend people going to this place at least once. Their customer service was really good. I hope to come here again soon!!!

Your egg fried rice is nothing but yellow rice with ground black pepper! We ordered your combo by UberEats, it was a complete disaster. Our first time and the last time to try out this restaurant.

Service is very late. Also when you pay the restaurant worker tries to peep into your wallet and if they notice cash, they just deny to take card payment and do not give a receipt in if paid in cash. Probably they want to avoid paying tax.

We ordered chow mein and spring rolls. The chow mein was incredible and the spring rolls did not disappoint. The food was reasonably priced and we had more than enough to go around! The service was also excellent and the owners are very hard-working and friendly. Its an amazing restaurant and comes highly recommended! We will definitely come again.

I remember coming to this restaurant as a child with my father. I absolutely loved the chilli chicken gravy dish, its still my favorite food to this day. I havent been here in a couple of years since I dont live in the area anymore, yet I can remember the taste and smell of the food. Im really glad this restaurant is still in business after many years and I really would love to visit again someday.

I used to frequent this location when the old owners were operating it. I decided to go back years while it became under new ownership, and were very pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Unlike typical type of this cuisine, their food was made very fresh to order with clean ingredients. Would come back and recommend.

Good food terrible service. I hate giving bad reviews. I ordered the crispy beef (3 star) and the chilli shrimp (4 star). But the reason for the 2 stars was the service. I called in for take out and I was told 20 mins until pickup. When I showed up 30 mins later, the lady in the store said it would be another 5-7 mins but they hadn t started making the food yet. Overall took an hour, while I sat and wAited I saw the same thing happen with 3 other customers. Disappointing operation. Decent food.

So so so much disgusting !! Usually when you feel hungry even the food which is made without any interest tastes awesome but never expected the food in such aweful taste. Me and friend s family visited for a lunch and we ordered Thai basil chicken fried rice , Drumsticks of Heaven , Chilli chicken fried rice had no taste not even salty enough, drumstick was too much salty and too much oily (same had been fried multiple times probably ) and Chilli chicken kind of killed the mood for eating at all. On top of it, nothing was cheap. The rice used in fried rice was small size rice which was never expected from a restaurant Hugely disappointed
