Since they've started serving take-out snacks and biriyani (3 types so far)...I've been going every week. This is definately worth the stop if you're in the neighborhood, and DEFINATELY a must if in the neighborhood. I can't wait to try everything. We're huge fans of their rolls and samosa's!!...so much more to try. We can only hope they expand their menu. They've got a 'comedy' night happening outside?? tomorrow night!! I love the creativity.
Very good! I got the beef curry. Price is not expensive! I recommend
Had the lamb biryani and chicken biryani and the quality was very good! Portions are too much for one person. Can easily feed 2 people. The price is not expensive. Chicken Biryani was only $7.99 (9.03 tax in)! These are the very few places in the area where the food is really good and the price will not hurt your wallet. Very tasty! I recommend!
Former Torontonian, current Vancouverite - back in town for some work and stopped here late at night after getting settled and I'm stoked it's so close to my accommodations! I can tell I'll be visiting a lot. Super tasty biryani, great price, friendly service and I absolutely love the very Toronto/bodega vibes of it being nestled in a convenience store. Will have try the other offerings they have soon!
The best you can have with your money. Price is so affordable. Food is soooo good. I tried their biriyani which was exceptionally good. Tried the snacks too. My overall experience is good so far.
EDIT: They changed the chicken Biryani recipe. There's a lot less spices, less salty, and smaller takeout box. Not as good for me but SO likes it more. Still great value but not as much. Tried their samosa, taste like potato. Less spices then I'm used to compared to samosa king. Decent taste but quite pricey at $2 for 1. I only got the chicken Biryani. It's a really stuffed large takeout box of delicious rice and 2 pieces of chicken. It's enough to fill 2 or 3 people easily. The Biryani comes out of a pressure cooker so it's piping hot. The rice is too soft, but has great spice and flavor. Overall it's unbeatable value and tastier then the price and location would suggest. Pleasantly surprised. I'd go here whenever I want a cheap, yummy meal.
Very reasonable price! I tried the beef curry with curried egg on the side and it was packed full of flavour and aroma. Although the beef was quite scarce compared to rice portion- I would have liked a little more of that yummy beef to soak up all that left over rice! Overall, for a small takeout spot, the meal was great and the service was excellent. Super nice lads over there and they even gave me a complimentary samosa!
Their foods taste best in one word. Very polite, maintain cleanliness and always try to satisfy their customers through their quality food and service as well.
