Was very disappointed in my chicken,it tastes like it was cooked in the oven and slapped on the BBQ for the taste .Shame

Had a Canada Day Celebration on June 30th. Had 30-35 ppl. Served Rice, potatoes, roasted veggies, roasted chicken, and garden salad. Food was absolutely incredible, and everyone couldnt get enough. Food was definitely made with love. They also had it packed and ready to go very securely so that nothing would spill or get damaged.

Expect very slow service on weekends. Service is slow due to the business not adding enough workers. Had to wait a very long time sadly. For the weekend, should have at least 4 servers on the floor and one more in the kitchen. Food

from all the portuguese take outs, this one at least recently has been my go to as the food has good taste and quality which is something that has been lacking in most restaurants, also its very friendly the price is ok and its pretty quick Parking: the street parking is always a mess so youll need some patience to find parking if your planning to dine in

Just left from this place now was accused of being a drunk from the cook at take out . Secondly, I asked for my food multiple times to be medium well and It was either pure pink or burnt and also I got attitude for it as a customer from the place trying to be polite. The cook literally just told me today if it s like this after two strikes, I should never come back, and this is all coming from the cook. poor customer service, especially at takeout do not come here for take out

Just ok. Well heres an update. Went there for take out. Simplest meal possible. Grilled chicken, fries and salad. Lets start with the chicken. It looked boiled, not grilled. Skin was soggy, chicken dry. Salad .... Half the lettuce leaves were black, found 2 lettuce stems ... The bottom stocks in the salad. The fries were not edible. They must have been fried hours before. The entire meal was thrown out. Not edible. If this is whats delivered to the client, one has to wonder what the sanitary conditions are behind the scenes . AVOID AT ALL COSTS. SIMPLY TERRIBLE.

One item ordered was missing, cold saggy fries, since when do people put lettuce and tomato in a pork sandwich (bifana) ??? The clams sucked oh and had green stuff on it, we didnt eat it because we didnt want to get food poison. Overall bad experience and wont be ordering from this place again.

6 of us , no reservation but easy to get a table at 730pm on a Friday. Food was very tasty and there was a varied menu. Ill have to go back for the grilled calamari. Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs available.

It looks like a very simple place in Brazil or Portugal. Unfortunately the food isnt as tasty as I would expect from a churrascaria. The issue is one: it is NOT a CHURRASCARIA... It is only an ordinary grill with a lack of flavours.

We came on Good Friday and ordered cod with cream, the dish is very well served and delicious, we will definitely be back. We were very well attended, family and friendly atmosphere.

Best Portuguese Chicken in the city! I order from them a lot for parties and just for dinner sometimes, and everyone always asks, Where did you get this? they love it so much!

Went with a group of friends and was not disappointed! Peter our server was an amazing host, he had great recommendations and made us feel special by insisting we try some vino verde, which was excellent. Food was delicious (flaming sausage, grilled squid, tiger shrimp and chicken) and reminded us all of our trip to Portugal. Ended the night with a dessert called heavenly cream, it s a must try. Will definitely be back!

Ordered take out and the food (seafood special) was amazing! The fish was so tasty and I can t believe how cheap it was less than McDonalds. On top of everything, the petite woman at the counter was so sweet and pleasant. Great experience what else can you ask for? Thoroughly impressed to say the least.

We google searched sea food restaurants and tried it, the food tasted excellent. Appetisers plate with great variety and best fried calamari, flavourful soup, tender steak, and fresh fish with big portions. Toped it off with Heavenly cream dessert. Seasonably priced. Will return with other friends and families.

We placed order one day before and among them was one large vodka sauce, four chickens a medium potato and a fish was about 160. I asked if vodka sauce was creamy they said yes. When we got home with it was just tomato. I called and they insisted that was vodka sauce I called management next day was told same but this time I ll stand my ground there was 0 cream in it and we had to go get another store to buy some cream pasta. Mistakes can be made but not taking accountability and or exchanging it is wrong . I had 30 guests and not one believe it s a cream sauce even if not mixed. Chicken was good but small and potato s nothing special Don t need to reply I won t order from you again.

Just moved to Toronto. Everything about this place is awesome. Great food. Lots of choices. Awesome chicken. Addictive home made hot sauce. Scrumptious dessert tarts. But best of all, wonderful staff. Thanks for making me feel welcome to the neighbourhood, Peter and Dennis!

First time trying Bairrada and it was like having food in Portugal again. If you want an authentic taste of Portuguese food this is the spot for it. I enjoyed their Rissóis de Camarão, Shrimp Camarão, & Frango no Churrasco. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Lovely hidden gem serving authentic Portuguese cuisine. Really good quality and value for your money. The service here is always nice too. Portuguese style fish and chicken

Wow, wow, wow. This was by far the best bbq chicken Ive eaten. The food came out timely, the service was impeccable, and most important, the food was remarkable. I recommend the bbq chicken, you wont be disappointed.

I ordered steak, rice and veggies but got fries instead. Waiter wasnt around for long time so ended up eating it.

Clean facility, great service and food. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio with great food and company of a good friend.

I have had dinner and lunch here many times, but recently the service was so great that I had to write a review. Reserved for a birthday, my family and I definitely could have attracted a short fuze, but we were greeted by an amazing server who had the patience of a saint. He was attending to all of our needs, even a family member of mine who is disabled. Besides the phenomenal service, the food was also great. All 6 of us who ate, enjoyed our food to the fullest. From steak, to fish, we savoured each bite and were satisfied with what we ordered. The atmosphere varies because of the people that attend, but the staff do their best to keep everyone in check and happy. They also have a patio for the hot summer days, but they extremely lack in available parking. Definitely returning, and even if you can t make it in for a wine and dine service, they have a convenient take-out service next door to give you food on the go. Would recommend the flaming chorizo and any of the bbq chicken and steak options. Thank you, 5 !

The service was great and the patio is cozy, also it s covered so we even sat out in the rain and didn t get wet. I didn t much enjoy the chicken and potatoes, but it was a good experience.

Family and I went on a Sunday afternoon and to our surprise the place was empty. I did, however sound like everyone was outside in the back patio. We all over the different dishes, but I had ordered the barbeque chicken. I have had some really good Portuguese barbeque chicken, but nothing came close to this. It was so good that I had to buy some of their very signature Peir Peir sauce. I don t like to recommend restaurants in such a large city just because there s so many good ones around every corner, but I do have to stand behind the quality of the food at Bairrada Churrasqueira!

My family has been eating at Bairrada since I can remember from the original location on college to the one in Mississauga today was my first time at this location and I ve never been so disappointed. Leaving a restaurant in my life don t get me wrong. The service was amazing. Our waiter was perfect. It s sad to say that the food itself was a little lacklustre the green soup was missing the chorizo and I have steak was slightly overcooked and the meat was very tough. My girlfriend got the chicken and she found the chicken really dry. The potatoes had no flavour all in all very disappointing for a place that I have such fond memories of going to. I don t want to leave reviews like this, but I figured this time management really needs to know.

Ate here once before and it was great but when my sister and I returned for another fish dinner which was great they gave us a very small piece which was smaller than a half. It was very disappointing and it was a dinner of more than 15 dollars. Never realized till I got home and couldn t go back, called and spoke to a lady and said the manager would call back but never did. Very appalling that they would serve people a piece like that in these hard times. Would not go back because a place with such good food turned me off and they didn t satisfy at all, that barely fed a kid. Very disgusting, if u don t have enough tell people, at least be honest. Never again!!!

Great food and service

I went with a family of 5. We all got something different. The rice with the BBQ chicken tasted old. I got the bacalhau (cod fish) and that was good, but the staple (portuguese chicken, rice and potatoes) wasnt good. Their sangria was terrible. DO NOT get the sangria!! Parking: Street parking, either paid on St. Clair or on one of the side streets. Difficult to find during busy times.

Server either forgot our drink order or got it wrong. Had to constantly check in on our drinks. Messed up our apps with wrong order when asked about it, he said he d have to check if they had any marinated olives still. Why not tell us this when we ordered rather than giving us the wrong app? The steak was definitely microwaved. Maybe it was because it was end of the evening, but never would I imagine the service to be so terrible. We felt like we were inconveniencing the restaurant by being there. I was with a native Portuguese friend and they were disappointed by the entire experience.

This was one of my favourite places to eat whenever I was remotely close to this area, but I found Bairradas roast chicken has severely declined. The chicken was very dry and tough, it didnt have the tenderness and grilled taste that it once had. The rice was also very dry and bland, and even the potatoes were mushy and had little texture and taste to it. The food was very disappointing.

Best restaurant in the neighbourhood! Food is authentic and delicious and service is the bomb. So accommodating and sweet.

I remember this place being good back in the day but now it has to be one of the worst Portuguese restaurants I ve been to. I usually get the steak, egg and the potato chips everywhere I go. Their steak is more like a very thing piece of bifana. And the gravy taste like boxed gravy from the grocery store. Service is great, staff is really good but the food is a no.

We ve been going here for almost two decades, from the one on college, and now this one. This is one of the few restaurants in the city that, since COVID has not just stayed great, but has gotten even better. Their portions are incredible, the plating looks phenomenal, and everything on the menu tastes so good. Anything with Cod is an instant must-pick. Their chicken, rice, potatoes, are all tender and delicious.

I wish I took photos of my steak! My family and I had a wonderful, lovely experience here in Dec 27 . There were only us and a pair of two other customers seated in the restaurant during our experience. Maybe if there wasnt covid, this place would be much more livelier with the energy of the customers lol but anyway, 3 of us had an order of steak and the other had chicken. I truly love whatever wine marinade they put in their steak plus the parissiene potatoes they have. My sister got red, flushed face though because of the alcohol content of the marinade ahaha but this was noted in the menu, so just a caution to anyone who has alcohol sensitivity. They also sell wine for to go and we had one half bottle. I live in Scarborough and I commuted all the way here because the last time I had a meal from barraida was last year before lockdown! I wish they open a Scarborough location one day! I d love to bring my family or a date here one day :) thank you and kudos to this restaurant s manager and team!

Our favorite Churrasqueira Grill. Chicken is always fresh and flavorful. The price have gone up to $19 the last time we went there last week. Thats expected after the pandemic.

Hugo is very thoughtful and kind and if therevus a problem is helpful. Food is tasty but may not be on point if ordering steaks. Médium was Médium well.but everything else is great.

Delicious food! We had the bbq chicken and the cod. Portions are big and we brought lots of leftovers home. We also got a pitcher of red sangria which was some of the best Ive had. We finished our dinner with some passion fruit mouse and cheesecake. The cheesecake wasnt my favorite but my husband liked it. We will defintiely be going back, specifically for the BBQ chicken! They have a nice little patio area to sit and relax.

Placed an order this passed Sunday June 19th for about 30 people. Food portions were amazing for the price, more then enough to feed everyone a couple times. Food was hot and fresh when delivered. The food also exceed my expectations, everything was really delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be a future customer for sure. If I could I would give more stars. A huge thank you to Valerie as she was able to answer all my questions and help me complete the order with out any stress. Thank you once again to the whole team who helped out.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. AWFUL! This is NOT Churrasco style food. The chicken was virtually skinless and therefore dry. It had some red chilies on it. The rice was undercooked so it was hard. The only decent part of the meal was the potatoes. Oh, and the calamari was inedible.

Absolutely disrespectful that a person who has paid and even tipped on a takeout order cannot sit on a patio seat outside to eat their meal. Especially when their whole outside patio seats are empty at the time. Owner should reconsider their reasoning behind this.

Very reasonable price. The staff are wonderful and professional. Clean establishment, good specials, & a nice variety of meals on the menu. The steak had a nice grill flavour, but had a demiglaze. Personal opinion, but I dont like saucing my steak. The fries were crispy and golden, but the meal was missing a green side.

These folks catered a 100 person event at a nearby brewery and man did they deliver. The chicken was fantastic, the potatoes excellent and the custard tarts out of this world. Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly delicious catering option.

St. Clair location - Went for dinner on a Wednesday mid week expected alot more since not busy. The service /waiter was great. However the quality and quanity lacked. 2nd time here and disappointed wont be returning. Sat a table against a wall that was really dirty didnt notice when i sat down big turn off. Walls definitely need to be cleaned regularly. Ordered the seafood platter for 2 ( not cheap $124.99) and some seafood items listed was not included. Lots of sauce to make it look full and shell items on edge to look full but only a few clams. Not many shrimps. Tiger or otherwise. The lobster and crab there but didnt seem whole crab in platter. Definitely not for 2. Also lacked flavor. Very watered down. Ordered chips didnt have (out) had to settle for fries. Ordered a desert they out ended not having. Theyre excuse just reopened after summer holidays. Heard someone else order from another table an item waiter said out as well. They should update menu if they didnt get their orders/deliveries when reopened. Very disappointing. Not willing to try them again. Had cheaper, better tasting and fuller seafood platters at other portuguese locations on st. Clair.

Best Portuguese Chicken in my opinion. If you are lucky your server will be Hugo who is the best! Cant say enough great things about Hugo, he always makes us feel welcome when we dine in. Never tried anything but the chicken, the sauce is the best.
