Service was amazing. Cool atmosphere. Theyre not even trying with their food though. Loaded fries is literally a plate of shoestring fries with a white sauce on them. Nothing else. Also, see if you can find the three curds of cheese in your poutine.

Bella gave us the best service, we loved our chicken fingers atop the loaded fries with chorizo. She suggested the strong island which is on special on Tuesdays, we had several!

Really upset about an experience tonight. The one bartender Mia was helping a large group of us at the bar and giving us great service. We asked to move to a bigger area in the back and she said yes. We sat at the larger booth at the back and the manager (I believe her name was Sarah) decided to help us and take a few orders. After putting in a few orders for drinks in, a few people in our group wanted to move to the larger back room seating since we were too large of a group to fit in the table without being on top of each other. A few of us stayed back to wait for our orders to take over there too but Sarah came back and said she didn t want people in the larger room or to serve them while back there because she had an problem with another group earlier in the day and she didn t want a repeat with us. We said okay we will stay here and mention it to them. One of our people went over to the back room and mentioned she won t be serving them back there. They thought that meant she just wasn t their server and to just pay as you go at the bar. Clearly a miscommunication but instead of Sarah going back there to tell them herself she decided to tell the nice bartender to refuse service to anyone trying to order at the bar and then proceeded come over to myself and one other person at the original smaller table and slap down all the bills rudely stating I m going to have to ask all of you to pay your bills and leave then continued to go off on me about the other people and treating me so rudely when mind you, I literally sat at the table she wanted me to sit at and drank one mocktail and had money in my hand including a tip ready to hand her before she even went off on me. If she truly had an issue with a large group sitting in a certain area, she should have gone to THOSE PEOPLE and said that to them and not freak out on the ones who were at the correct table. Idk whole thing was ridiculous. This large group of us are regulars here since we are all staff and managers at a pub down the road. You can even ask the nice bartender how much we tipped her cause we are industry people. This was just so rude and uncalled for. Leaving this review on behalf of our entire staff that decided to stop by.

The drinks were great, everything is reasonably priced, food wasnt so great though. And service was a little slow. Would go back but just for the drinks.

This was the worst service I ve ever received. Firstly, the waiter didn t introduce herself, secondly she forgot my order and once I asked where it was she was pretending like I didn t order it. My boyfriend only got his food and I was sitting there waiting and then I finally asked the waiter where my food was. I m a vegetarian and she said was your order chicken? & I told her nvm I didn t want my food no more, she didn t even apologize or anything. Plus we sat on the patio and there was mice running around I wouldn t ever come back. Highly not reccommed. Worst service in Toronto.

My mum and I have come here a couple of times for lunch. I wasnt too thrilled with my grilled cheese and tomato soup during our last visit. I was imagining it like my childhood comfort food. Not to say that it was bad, just different! The service was great and the server offered for my mum use the upstairs washroom so she wouldnt need to do the stairs. I appreciated the thoughtfulness And the prices are great!

I like this place good atmosphere, nice music and delicious food. The guys did change with a menu and its something u have to try. Also prices are very low for such a quality . Highly recommended

Love it here! The food and drinks are so well-priced and every new dish I try is tasty! They have a lot of ways to substitute meat for veggie options too. Vegetarian options: Chicken Tao Bowl comes with crispy cauliflower instead of meat and it was so much better than I expected!

I usually go in-person, but ordered through Uber Eats last night. Ordered the three cheese blend grilled cheese and tomato soup. I was absolutely horrified to receive it with both goopy cheese sauce inside, and also a THICK, wet layer of ricotta?! This was absolutely disgusting and completely inedible. Right into the can. Ugh.

Great vibe !! The only problem we had was our server ( Nadine). I dont think I have ever been served with so much attitude and disrespect in any Bar or restaurant before. No complains on the drinks :).

Went to enjoy a night out with friends. We got a server with horrible service from the getco. We ordered drinks waited for an hour it wasnt busy. Food was soggy and gross. Complained and she said that it was good. When it was time to pay she threw the reciept on the table and when we waited for our change it took over 30 mins. Nadine is the worst server if you want attitude and poor service shes your girl. Never going back managers need to train the staff so there business doesnt go down hill. Nadine if you dont enjoy your job go find a new one!!!

Laura was our first impression of El Furniture Warehouse. She has a vibrant smile, she s vibey, open and welcoming of everyone that comes in. She hustles fast and takes care of the restaurant like it s her own. As two nerds who don t go outside she was the perfect person to integrate is with the atmosphere

Ok, I don t even know where to begin. I was moved from the second I graced the establishment. Laura was nothing short of a breath of fresh air. If your looking for a place to call your own - look no further. This is the place you ll meet your future ex wife and love every second of it. You ll meet friends you will have for life. There is just something within these walls that breath positivity. Un-tanglable positivity from start to finish here. 1000 out of 10 Recommended

Decent place to drop in for food, but no water top ups, no check in on food or if we wanted a second drink....got to eat, but not service worth a tip.

It s too bad the service here is SOO bad, because I like everything else. Understaffed, unfriendly, and sooo slow to attend to guests. All could be forgiven if the staff were FRIENDLY, but they are cold and quite rude. I understand they are swamped with orders, but then HIRE MORE STAFF and BE NICE to guests? What there only 1 persons behind the bar and 2 servers on a weekend night?? These poor people. Maybe that s why the staff are so uptight. I m in a bad mood after I go here because the staff are so abrasive. Thank god they have that Australian women- she was the only redeeming server, because she was NICE and apologetic for the waiting. That blonde server with the eye lashes should not be a waitress; she s rude, cold, slow, and makes the guests feel like a burden. Won t be back. Too bad.

Love this place when I m travelling across the country. Recently spent the weekend in Toronto and ended my nights at this location. Adam, Keith and the doorman made me feel like Norm from Cheers all weekend. Highly recommended.

I usually come eat here , BUT today s experience was garbage. Our Server complained about the change she received as a CASH method which was the exact amount, giving the circumstances that I was in I was unable to tip & was LITTERALLY my only meal today. Her behaviour afterwards going to her team members on her shift was unacceptable talking loudly that she received $16 in change , MONEY IS MONEY considering MY circumstances she never knew what issues I may may have faced today. SHE NEEDS TO GO, It s unprofessional and do not want to deal with someone with that type of behaviour.

My experience today started out decent but ended terrible towards the end when it was time to pay. After asking for the bill, I paid for my meal with what I had in cash because you dont take debit and to my surprise I had the exact amount. As Im paying her in cash and some change she made a very rude face with an annoyed response and took the money. Now as me and my friend were getting ready to leave we over hear her speaking with another coworker aloud talking about receiving the exact amount with no tip. She didnt even know I was going to go over to her and give her a tip right before walking out. But after hearing what she said was really rude and tbh very embarrassing. Her service wasnt genuine clearly and gave NOTHING! but an annoyed and tasteless experience!!!!

The food was MEH but good portion and cheap prices

Not very satisfied with the service. No water and no tableware offered. So we have to finish the dishes with hands! I don t know why. And the staff told us the wrong portion of the drink, making us so embarrassed!

We visited during a quiet time and received good service in a pleasant ambiance. The food matched the price point and was good overall.

Food was delicious overall, had steak tacos and cheddar pierogies (they have sour cream on the bottom of the pierogies to stick to plate if you don t like sour cream.. I had asked for mayo instead of sour cream and found out the hard way). Also had to call the waiter a couple times to serve us and bill us but wasn t too inconvenient as it was a slower evening and we were able to ask a second server for help

Pretty rude staff, and they charged my friend for something that she didnt even get. The service was slow, my friend got her food after everyone else was finished with theirs. They did offer a mocktail for this after I spoke up. The waitress was very dismissive. I wouldnt personally go back.

Great food, great prices, the smash burger tasted like it was from a dedicated smash burger spot. Laura the server was great, and the song selection + the fact that the music videos were playing on the screens gave it all a great atmosphere

I wouldn t recommend the poke bowl. I think I got food poisoning from it but i m not 100% sure so take this with a grain of salt. Their burgers are pretty good and well priced.

We had most of the appetizers. They were ok. The portions were small.

I came here with my friend and it was a terrible experience. We sat at the bar and the bartenders actively avoided taking my order and were only addressing my friend. When they finally did, they gave my food order to someone else who came in 10 minutes after me. We proceeded to wait for the food for over an hour and asked if they mixed up the food orders and they said yes. They also tried to charge me for the food I never got.

Delicious drinks! Had a Crazy Canuck and its so yummy I could have had 20! Ordered the spicy chorizo street tacos and a poutine for my dinner! Those fries and that gravy will definitely be in my dreams tonight... tacos were a touch too spicy for my taste but I am a big wimp when it comes to spice. Overall fabulous experience and my server was very personable and a delight. Will come back here and absolutely will reccomend to a friend!

Looooved the ambience here, music was just so good!!!! Live DJ with amazing taste in music, right from 90s to now! Food is great. All the knick knacks you need with yoir drinks and also the quantity of deinks is super awesome! I ordered a pink warehouse (photo), some chips & dip, mac & cheese and some fries. Yum yum yum!! And the servers are great too, great recommendations, slow because understaffed probably but pretty amazing in their service! Definitely going back!

1. Great music, awesome playlist but very loud! 2. Decent food - Tacos were good, Falafel burger was tasty, Rigatoni was OK, Loaded fries werent really loaded, but they were tasty. 3. Good drinks but they dont make a dirty martini which is one of the simplest drinks to make, so that was odd, otherwise the Old Fashioned and Drunk Arnold were very good! 4. Service was slow, but there were only 3 staff managing the entire place, which was packed on a Thursday night, so cant hold that against them. When they did come by they were super friendly and very helpful. Areas to improve: 1. Mens washroom needed attention - one stall was particularly disgusting. 2. We think we saw a lizard. 3. More staff to provide faster service. 4. Several items were sold out, so better management on that front would help.

Absolutely horrible experience. I went here with a group of friends and a guy from another table accused us of stealing his airpods. He says that his find my iphone was showing that his AirPods that were lost 6 months ago was beeping at our table. We told him to kindly leave and let us enjoy our meal and that we didnt have his airpods and that we were not from the area. Later on in the night, the manager (katia) decides to come over and accuse us again that we have stolen the guys airpods. The guy told the manager that he lost his airpods just now and that we have it. The manager fully defended the other guy and treated us with no respect and didnt offer a sincere apology. This is honestly very disrespectful and should not be tolerated as we are her guests at the restaurant that she is managing. Later on I saw our server laughing with the group of guys and pointing at us outside the restaurant. Very disappointed, and wont be returning.

Anything and everything you could possibly imagine was garbage at this place! I havent been to a place this bad in a long time, possibly ever!!! I would give it zero stars, or maybe even negative 5 stars if I could The Mushroom & Swiss Burger was absolutely disgusting, wasnt even edible One of the servers was named Sam (unfortunately has the same name as me), and she was one of the most rude and unbearable people Ive ever encountered in the service industry. She truly made the entire experience significantly more unpleasant. And aside from that, we couldnt get any cutlery, napkins, or anything else you would expect from any kind of operational food joint. Absolutely horrific service! The music was extremely loud and annoying, which made it hard to talk or even sit in peace Please save yourself a headache and also save your money and avoid this place at all costs!

Food and drink prices were good during happy hour and thats where the good parts end. -service was really bad. took forever to get the drinks we ordered, the person taking the orders (also the bartender) was not friendly until it came time to pay the bills. We had ordered a plate of nachos for the table and by the time we requested the bills and we asked to cancel the nachos, he was unfazed. No sense of remorse, like an oh shoot sorry or anything, which the entire group was quite shocked about. Additionally, we were right beside the speaker and it was blasting music so loud that we couldnt hear each other literally 5cm away. When I asked someone to turn it down just a little they were very rude and didnt actually do it. -food quality was serviceable at best. I found it funny that another review claimed the pasta was undercooked, because the Mac and cheese I had was disintegrating when I tried to pick it up it was so overcooked. The garlic bread was basically burnt. Not a good experience in the slightest. Vegetarian options: The Mac and cheese, falafel burger.

This place has one of the best food in the city for sure, specially for its price point. The burgers are delicious. Service is good. Drinks are good. My go to for tequila Tuesday or any day

What initially began as a promising outing with a great selection of music and ambiance quickly took a turn after our server with more lip filler than manners decided to forget works for the bar. Every request for a new order of food, drinks, cutlery had to end with a healthy dose of disgust on her face and a flawless roll of the eyes. It didnt stop there. When asked for the bill, she nearly attacked my friend and complained that shes a human and doesnt take requests. Avoid her at all costs, as she will likely ruin your night despite coming across as nice in the first minute of the initial interaction. Light brown hair, heavy on the lip gloss, not so skinny one, nude colour top & bottom. Wish I paid attention when she said her name. Hope she realizes soon the service industry is not for her

This is a great place to come for reasonably priced drinks and food. The atmosphere is cozy and fun. Service is friendly. Large selection of cocktails and shooters to choose from. Their shot of bourbon with a chaser of au jus was delicious, and went down very smoothly! Burger was good and the skinny fries were nice and crispy. Eighties music throughout the night! Not sure if it is always like that but we were told that they only take cash or credit cards, not debit cards!

Reminds me college days, good vibe from the loud disco techno music. Beers,bebes,bums and tasty burgers. Plentiful of gorgeous Bonitas chickas. I meet many different people there, cheap reasonably priced foods. Highly recommend

SAM!!!! Sam is her name George! Sam was amazing lip fillers and everything her service was spectacular! She smiled when she first greeted me and my best-friend who I was visiting from Calgary! Everything was good! But I want specifically thank the lady who was waiting our table.. I m sorry I don t know her name but she was amazing! I don t drink alcohol or stuff like that so I just drank water. Cannot even begin to explain how impressed I am by her service. She refilled my glass with water almost 15 times. She kept an eye on our table if my glass was empty so she could refill it for me. Loved her!! Thank you, El Furniture, for such an amazing experience!

Nice fun place to go to with a group

I probably could have anticipated this but the music was SO loud for 2pm - definitely all-day rave vibes and regrettably our waitress said it was against policy to turn the music down. The food was good, more staff on scene definitely could have helped! The staff that were there did an excellent job and had a lot of tables on their hands.

I had a terrible pick up experience with this location. Called many times to order and pick up and no one answered the phone. I called about 5 times over the span of a couple hours. I then walked to the restaurant to order, got my food and was shocked with a 4$ pick up fee? Never in my life have I had to pay a pick up fee. I m repulsed.

Such good food, for great prices too! I would definitely recommend the mac and cheese, the chicken tenders, and the nachos. Gréât drinks too! Workers were also nice and welcoming!

Waiter stole money . Oct 5 3pm. So 3pm today got my bill waiter is blonde with short hair died ,decided to steal 30 cents from my bill now Im good tipper there is no way I would ever tip any one that Steals how many people does she do that to a day? Skimming off the top then for here to say oh wow after she didnt apologize and she expected a tip .Im disgusted at this establishment the money is not the point , stealing is. the entitlement and the nerve she has after stealing as she did not apologize or say she made a mistake is disgusting Ive been to dime in ottawa and other locations I hope this is not a common practice as there is no room for people like this AND EVERY CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE FACT SHE GOT UPSET AT ME FOR STEALING IS EVEN WORSE SHE SHOULD BE FIRED OR REPRAMANDED IMMEDIATELY THIS IS DISGUSTING.

This place is a fantastic option for affordable drinks and food. The ambiance is both cozy and enjoyable, and the service is friendly. They offer an extensive variety of cocktails and shooters to cater to different tastes. Their butterscotch shot is so good I got all my friends to try it and everyone loved it! Being a vegetarian, its so hard to find places that serve vegetarian burgers and not simply a vegan patty. The falafel burger at El Furniture is TO DIE FOR, paired with crispy thin fries omg.

Fun, inexpensive restaurant bar. Went on a Sunday spring 2023. The four dishes our table received ran the gambit from passable to delicious. Service was a bit slow, but very friendly. Ultimately, its a cool space, with nice staff, cheap drinks and cheap eats. Would go again if I was in the area.

Big time false advertising!! Advertised 99 cent tacos on Tuesday. No mention (anywhere) of the necessity to purchase a drink until ordering. Very low class, just saying...

I m very upset about the way myself and my husband was treated by the manager Deono. We asked about using his status card and was refused. I understand not everywhere excepts it however he didn t have to be so rude about it. He didn t want to hear about what we had to say about it. He was ignorant about the conversation and left without saying anything. He will be hearing from the Chief and hopefully no one gets treated like this. Our waitress was very helpful and understood the situation. I give her 5 stars and the food was great. She got our order in sufficient timing and got everything we wanted.

Service was terrible. I didnt even sit down yet and was asked what I wanted. I said I would have a look but then wasnt tended to. The 2 dudes working the bar were more interested in hanging out with each other than serving anyone. I come here specifically for Lexi and Brett. Solid service and great experience with either. I also saw a mouse run through the dining room and when I mentioned it, on of the bartenders (sitting in the dj booth) said oh, yeah and whe I said you dont care do you? he just giggled. I live above the bar and the only thing I know, they put loud music on purpose and they never respect a simple request to lower down a bit the volume because I work night shifts and I would love to not having to cry by frustration because they can t lower down a bit the music at 11 am. I try to talk with them and calling. They always been rude and never consider that up here we can hear everything. I just see the bar always empty but they need to pump the misic like there is no tomorrow.

I had my birthday last week and my friends and i decided to get some drinks before we went out to a club this was the perfect place loved the server, Savka she was amazing from start to finish she was very professional the atmosphere was great loved the lights and music, drinks were cheap but very sweet and refreshing only had the fries but definitely hit the spot. 10/10

Great food prices

A great place to spend with a friend or two for getting drinks and some late night bites. Came in ordering a few things and was satisfied with the quality. Food has an adequate amount of quantity and quality, drinks were good. Service could be better though as it was hard to catch out server for asking questions/getting a bill. Ridiculous pricing at this place for the ambiance and offerings. More than $13 for an ounce of Woodford Reserve, a really common bourbon, served in a beat up rocks glass? I was given the wrong change first at a price that made sense before the server noticed, adding insult to injury.

The best place that you can eat a good food. Their menu is incredible. Since my first day at the town, this place is the perfect location for me. Their Union Salad is tasty and delicious, their burgers are amazing, tacos OMG! Vegetarian options: Their salads are tasteful and delicious
