TAMASHA!!! is the best name for this restaurant and they are pretty good in doing it. I visited this place with my friends. They staff at the entrance only lets their friends enter the restaurant. it was a horrible experience and the worst customer service EVER.

My work team and I had our Christmas dinner at Tamasha, and we absolutely loved it. It was many of my team member s first time trying Indian food, and I got many positive reviews. Manager Deep and our server Gurmil delivered phenomenal customer service, and were so attentive and helpful with their recommendations. We were lucky to be able to enjoy their Happy Hour specials, which had many cocktails and appetizers at half-price. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken Wings, and Kolkata Special Street-Style Chow Mein dishes, to name a few. For dessert we got the Baked Gulab Jamun, which was superb.

However, I was disappointed with the dessert the brownie was burnt, and the cheesecake didn t taste right. It felt like an afterthought compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, its a nice spot for dining, but the dessert needs improvement. Would return for the main dishes, though!

This has become a regular place for me. Food , starters and cocktails are amazing. I have been served by Gurmail a couple of times, and he makes amazing cocktails and chana jor garam and great service.

I had high expectations for this place, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. The food lacks authentic Indian flavors and is below average in taste. To make matters worse, the service is extremely slow, which only adds to the frustration. Overall, the experience did not live up to the hype, and I wouldn t recommend it.

Tacky lil bar and restaurant that parades around as a night club for North Indian kids who are just happy to be at some place in Canada that has Punjabi music, flashing lights and a red carpet entrance. Its still a basic bar/restaurant that I had visited when it first opened. Nowadays, even if you just want to visit the place for a drink, you get a discount club vibe.

I had a wonderful experience at Tamasha: Bar + Indian Kitchen. Our server, Jia, was attentive and made us feel welcome throughout the meal, each dish was delicious. The paneer was flavorful, the naan was soft and fresh, and the mango lassi was perfectly sweet. The gajar ka halua was a standout, providing a rich and satisfying end to a great dining experience.

Their food is amazing and vibes too. The service by anmol is great. She managed tables for us although it was fully packed, which I really appreciate and a great hospitality given by her. Thankyou. Will sure visit again.

The restaurant was empty as it was a weekday when we visited. They did not allow us to seat where we wanted to be seated. The scanner given to us did not work and the server took back the scanner immediately. We couldnt have look at the menu. We had to search it online. The server did not show up for anything for at least 15 mins coz they were busy chatting. Couldnt order any food or drinks and sadly had to leave the restaurant.

It was a fantastic experience being at Tamasha. Apurva is an outstanding host, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Amazing experience celebrated my cousins birthday and they really went above and beyond. Apurva especially made sure we were looked after and my cousin got a special celebration and even a Polaroid of her special moment. Been here before but today s service was exceptional thanks to Apurva.

Not even one star, we came from almost 120km to this place to celebrate our friend s birthday. We call them for reservations and the guy picked our phone told us that it would take around 12.30 am to get the table and he also told me that our kitchen closes on 12.30 am as well. So why the hell guys you are keep calling guest ?He called us 3 times. What a stupid and frustrated management. They ruined the whole dinner trip. Guys try to develop some respect for coming guest.

When asked for onion salad; served with whitw oniion which is so pungent and cannot be eaten raw 3.Food is good but not as per customer requirements as they cannot make it. 4. I see girls order couple of dish and stay for long and bill as we do as a single person. 5.We are treated illogically and expect tips if not provided all the staff looks at you in grime 6 when I wanted the beer to take away they asked me to take a food along ,However, I already had a food. They would have given me the beer. However, I had to order peanut masala to take two beers. 7. Be aware that I had experienced a bad moment by a lady supervisor earlier mentioning you are drunk and cannot provide salad.I mean why I cannot have salad even I am having mt beer. But do they determine how much is sober and drunk of an individual. I am sorry to be blunt here I was not at all high and I recognized that she wanted to give the seat to someone. That makes us really absurd ad there is no mention that we have to spend 1 hr or 2-he in restaurant, as I had stepped in when there were no single customer.

Food was good. But terrible service.don t know for how many times we call them to refill water , and for how many times we had to call them for take out. Nobody pays attention. Poor service. Fun turns out into frustration. Definitely not recommending this to visit.

Attention Attention I have dined at many restaurants in the GTA, but my experience here was the worst. I had to wait 30 minutes for water, which arrived after I had already finished my starters. The manager, Apoorva, displayed a lot of attitude and lacked proper customer service skills. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

The experience was not good at all. Customer service was literally zero, staff do not know how to serve their customers especially the manager was so arrogant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Felt like just wasted the money.

Came here for my friend s Bride to Be party. We ordered lots of food. Veg includes: Peri peri fries, Paneer Makhani, Garlic Naan, Mango lassi. Except Lassi everything was great. Lassi had elaichi bites in it which made it taste bad. Non veg items included Chilli Chicken starter, Chicken biryani and Kadhai Chicken curry. They were great as well. In the desserts we ordered the Brownie and the gulab jamun, they were amazing. My friends ordered few of the cocktails too and they were good too. They do play DJ as well especially in the weekends. Overall it s a great place for the food and the ambiance.

Absolutely loved the experience! The food was finger-licking good, and the ambience was just perfect. A great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Highly recommend! The Bollywood music definitely enhanced the atmosphere. We tried their Tandoori veg moms, Guntur Chicken, Rumali Roti and Nan with Paneer tikka masala. Everything was delicious. Only thing which we didn t like was the table and chair. It was not comfortable. For larger group there was sofa, which looked more comfortable.

I recently visited this place and this place is amazing. The food and drink are fantastic. The service is very friendly. Atmosphere is also very nice. I will highly recommend this place for dine in with friends or family.

Terrible Experience Do Not Trust This Place! 0 I had an awful experience at Tamasha (1835 Yonge St, Toronto). This place is a complete scam. Theyre constantly cheating with money, overcharging, and everything is overpriced, especially the alcohol. The food is terrible definitely not fresh and the drinks are ridiculously expensive for the poor quality they serve. The staff is inexperienced, especially the manager and the person at the front desk. They are rude and unprofessional, and the atmosphere inside is terrible. It smells so bad that you feel like vomiting as soon as you walk in. Fights break out often, and theres a very negative vibe throughout the place. As a woman, I did not feel safe going there alone, and I strongly recommend other women avoid it as well. No one inside smiles, and the service is far from friendly. Its an overall unpleasant experience, with rude and impolite staff. I will never go back to Tamasha again, and I advise everyone to stay far away from this place.

Worst Experience Ever Avoid at All Costs! I regret stepping foot into Tamasha (1835 Yonge St, Toronto). From the moment I walked in, it was clear this place is a disaster. The smell inside is unbearable like something rotten and it hits you immediately, making it hard to stay without feeling nauseous. The food is absolutely awful stale, tasteless, and clearly not fresh. I couldnt even finish my meal. And don t even get me started on the drinks overpriced and watered down. They charge way too much for low-quality alcohol, and nothing feels worth the money. Its a complete rip-off. The staff is another nightmare. The service is beyond poor, with rude and unprofessional workers who act like they couldn t care less about the customers. The manager is especially unpleasant, and the front desk person is just as bad. Theres no hospitality, no smiles, and everyone seems irritated. The atmosphere is toxic, and fights seem to break out often, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment. If youre a woman, especially alone, I highly recommend staying far away from this place. It s not safe or welcoming. There s nothing enjoyable about Tamasha. Its overpriced, dirty, and filled with rude staff and a bad crowd. I will never return, and I urge everyone to avoid this place entirely. There are far better places to spend your time and money.

The place is expensive but it is worth it

The ambience is top class. Service is really courteous and demure. Apoorva and her team were very considerate, they knew their customers so well. The food here is amazing, you can buy anything and it won t disappoint you. We had Rosalia, Stuffed Paneer and Aloo Tikki Chat. All are a must try.

Their website said they do not accept reservations, but they kept us waiting because they did accept reservations but by phone Plus they said we have to wait for 10 mins or less than 30 but after 50 minutes the table was not ready and after asking if we can sit while they clean it, and then sitting, they came to us and said the previous customers are not done finishing their drinks yet so you have to get up again. Overall super rude and unprofessional and I am glad we did not spend our money there. Do not go!

I m a huge fan of Indian cuisine and have explored many restaurants across the GTA, but Tamasha exceeded my expectations tonight! We tried the vegi momos, gol gappa, dal makhani, chicken tikka masala, and jeera rice each dish was better than the last! I highly recommend it.

I live really close to this restaurant and thought Id give Indian food a shot, even though I m not a fan. I called ahead for a reservation, and they just told me to walk in. When I arrived alone, they said the only seat available was at the bar. Fine, I said. But once inside, they turned me away, claiming it wasnt free. Then they said theyd call me. I waited for nearly 3 hours at home, and now its closing time at 2 AM, and still no call. What a complete joke! Absolutely terrible management. Don t waste your time here.

No place for unreserved people. The place is too small and you cant even enter the place without reservation. Vibe is also not good. Book a reservation and go. Otherwise, you will end up outside of the gate. They wont even care for people with no reservation.

Came to the place for some drinks and dancing. And the host randomly mentions that we have to spend $45 each as a cover. Pretty sure he just randomly made that number up for us to not go inside as not even the top clubs/bars in toronto charge more than $20 as cover/entry fee. none of my other friends were ever quoted this high either. I even offered $20 for entry just because I was excited to check the place out lol.

This was our first time at Tamasha. We heard a lot of good reviews from friends. So I thought to take my wife for her birthday. No regrets. It was a great experience. The food, the service, ambience, everything was superb. Apoorva did a great job and served us very well. She was quick and efficient and also got a sizzling brownie with a sparkling candle for my wife for her birthday. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend going here.
