Bartender is a consummate gentleman with a wide variety of drinks including some Belgians which are always appreciated. Service is great, and if youre lucky you can get a live show in while youre there.

I really liked this bar, we sat in the back on the little padio. It was nice, the staff was very friendly. We did have to wait a bit. There was a small group of us and it seemed like one person was on the back bar. I think they need to have more staff on when its a Friday night but other then that we had a great time!

Cozy little bar on on Danforth. They have a great selection of beers and other interesting drinks, as well as a robust cocktail menu. They also have two patios. And the back one is winterized. I just wish they had food. Even fries.

What a nice place! We went there for a beer, they had great live music, the bar was packed, we got a spot at the bar. Small, cozy bar. We had a great time!

Good drinks, great atmosphere

Ive been to this establishment a few times and have grown quite fond of the owners, John and Michelle, who are among the kindest people youll ever meet. However, Ive noticed and overheard some of their bartenders, specifically Amberose and Erica, engaging in judgmental gossip about customers without any shame or remorse. Regrettably, both Amberose and Erica have worked here for an extended period and have established a rapport with the owners. These conniving and deceitful individuals often excel at concealing their true nature, making it difficult for others to see them for who they truly are. Its unfortunate because, aside from these two toxic bartenders, the place itself is a cozy and comfortable spot to enjoy a few drinks.

Hidden Gem..have lived 10 mins away all my life and never knew it existed. Live music is great. Atmosphere/decor is amazing..feel like I am in another country at times. Back patio is adorable..drinks are yummy and I believe there is no food.

I really like the idea of this place and most things about it, but theyre currently charging (with tax) $12.50 for a 16oz pour of Perroni. Yes, the mass produced Italian Pilsner you can get at the LCBO for $3.50 a can. Come on guys.

Spent a few hours on the lovely back patio. At a glance, Sauce seems like a typical cool dive bar, but a closer look highlights the unique decor, friendly staff and chill, laid back atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

I just had the best service from the bartender Cole. The drinks were very reasonably priced and the service was amazing. This bar has such a cool vibe, and I will 100% be back.

Cute little back patio, owner Johnny and bartenders are very friendly, love the ambience and decor. Sometimes youll catch a live band here too! Guiness is one of the best in Toronto. Only downside is no food but right next door theres the Wren or Rudy burgers if you get a little snacky.

On Thursday night (Friday around 2:30 AM), November 24, 2023. I needed to use their washroom, but the bartender an older lady with blonde hair and glasses said I couldnt unless I was a customer. I understood and respected that. Returning to my car, I grabbed my wallet to buy a bottled water, but she said they didnt sell any bottled water. I then asked for a can of soft drink to go, but she said they dont do takeout. Trying to get served, she mentioned it was past 2 AM and they couldnt assist, despite about 10-15 other customers receiving service. This incident highlights how a business can suffer due to selfish employees.

Sauce is a hidden gem that I didnt discover until this summer. I had heard good things and really wish I had checked it out for myself sooner. The Victorian-chic fixtures, from ornate chandeliers to plush velvet seating, evoke a sense of grandeur that is both nostalgic and inviting. The bartenders are true artisans, concocting drinks that are not only visually stunning but also a symphony of flavours. The mint for my Mojito was even picked from the planter on their back patio (thats covered and heated). Its a perfect escape, creating an oasis in the heart of the city.

I frequent the Sauce sporadically with a few very good mates as we all know that the service is great, the staff friendly and the cocktails properly mixed. Great place to get lively or have a quiet drink.

Good bar, very nice staff, a little white and old but thats okay. Very busy when the live music begins, but if youre like me and caught the tail-end of the performance, seats will open up.

One of the most beautiful bars Ive ever seen! So nicely decorated and it has a really intimate and cozy atmosphere. The owners and staff are super nice and friendly too! Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

One of my favourite local spaces to unwind and see familiar faces. Whether a pint or a fancy cocktail, there is space in the front sidewalk patio and also a nice beautiful hidden back patio. The owners are wonderful people and Ive enjoyed the same great service for over 5 years even with all the new and old staff members.

This is an incredibly cozy and friendly neighborhood bar. I loved the interior decor; shelves are full of knickknacks and fun lamps. Towards the back of the bar there are red velvet armchairs and the feel of drinking in a fancy tacky living room. Definitely go here for casual drinks and interacting with a sophisticated crowd

We had a blast one night at Sauce, mostly because of the bartender. Great drinks and cozy cool atmosphere. The only down side was that we had to pay $5 for every six songs on the jukebox. Fun place to go for drinks with your friends.

Great cocktails and atmosphere. I come here a couple times a year and enjoy sitting at the bar. Service is generally good but from time to time some of the bar staff are less than friendly, but hey thats what you can expect on any given night. Decent cocktail selection and some interesting beers.

I was in the neighborhood and got a hankering for a rusty nail. After checking out a few local bars photos on Google, I found one photo from this bar with Drambuie in it--score! Sure enough, I was able to get my rusty nail and was very pleased. My husband met me there after a bit, and he had a beer, which he also enjoyed. I really liked this bar! Cool vibe, quirky but unpretentious, super friendly. The bartender and fellow patrons were all quite nice.

If you want a cool little bar on the east side of town this is a great option, lots of craft beers and laid back vibe. Love it.

I was not a fan of this place, the service was pretty bad and everyone had an attitude. The food was cold and they would not remedy the problem. There are no shortage of nice and friendly places to go in the city, no need to waste your time here. There is nothing worse than spending good money for bad service and cold food.
