Best bar in Toronto! I love this place. And the owner Ally is the world’s best host. If you are in Parkdale it’s a must visit. Best music too.
It's a dive bar that's a bit cleaner and displays art, pretty cute place. Staff must be tightknit though because every time I'm here, I'll close the door after someone leaves it open or bring my can to the bar or do something considerate, and I get dagger eyes. I'd like to come more often but that cold shoulder pushes me away into the arms of another dive bar up the street. It's way too expensive for that $h!t what did I do ?

Nice dive bar with friendly staff. I had a strawberry margarita, well made! Lots of other cocktail options + some beer and cider outside that.
Great hole in the wall type of joint with a surprising variety of local craft beer in cans and options for classic cocktails, and cocktails with a twist. Nice chill place especially early in the evenings and seems to pick up later which probably means a lot of industry folks go there, so you know it’s a no pretences kind of place.
Yet another place to be discovered. We actually stepped in for food (plus drinks) but they didn’t had anything on the menu to eat. So we decided to stay for the drinks. The bartender was so welcoming and friendly. They have quite a list of cocktails that are worth trying. The vibe was great.
Great theme nights like turntable Tuesdays, super cool chill vibe and awesome bar staff! Nothing like it in the area. Good drink prices too!

If youre nostalgic for the days of rude Queen West service people thinking they were too cool and important to have to serve you, think La Hacienda, Mitzies Sister, well this is the place for you. Stuck in that era of shabby-chic Toronto, it doesnt realize the world has changed, so it has not either/ More on the shabby than the chic. Rude staff.

This bar is so cosy & inviting. The lighting is perfect & the space is beautiful. The service is excellent - our bartender was so lovely and attentive, and the drinks are well-priced. Highly recommend.

Allison, what youve done with Grand Trunk during pandemic to keep it alive and going is nothing short of amazing!! How is it you are now serving the best affordable sandwiches this side of Parkdale?? How?! Run dont walk for the brunchable specials and the slammin salmon special here! Oh and buy some tasty booze while here. Thank goodness for gems like this!!
Recently added veggie burgers to their menu and they are delicious. Various combinations of unique toppings or just your regular burger topping. I particularly love the garlic mayo
Worst pina colada ever could not even finish it because all I tasted was Malibu and nasty canned Pineapple juice and person there was really condescending. All the price of drinks were $5 on the chalk board outside and she charged us $5.75. If you are going to make a proper drink, make it so customers like it, not to just make an easy dollar. We all threw it out.

Was driving past and got stuck at the light infront of this place , and asked out the window if they have any specials for weekends , and got flipped off by the grey haired man inside . I was interested in coming to this bar but definitely not anymore

My bad; accidently hit 3 stars at first. Cozy atmosphere at a tucked away place near the end of Queen. Decent prices for drinks. Will probably be back sometime.

Love this funky spot. The owners name is Ali and shes amazing. Super friendly and always working the bar by herself. Its super cozy too.
You deserve a drink!
The grand trunk has been one of my favorite places to go in Parkdale for over two years now. The owner is awesome, and she makes the best ceasars in the city, hands down! They also have local artists display art on the walls, and it changes up every month so there is always something new to look at each time you go.

Great little bar with a few solid taps, cans, and a pretty extensive cocktail list. Very chill, good music, and the bartender/owner is really friendly. A great place to grab a drink with friends if you dont want to wait in line but do wanna be able to hear what your friends are saying.

Amazing bar with great service and atmosphere. Great place to have a drink or two or several and be able to have a conversation, meaning good music but not overly loud that you can t hear what the person next to you is saying. Plus the owner Allie is a gem! If you re in the Parkdale area be sure to check it out.

Excellent ambience, cozy space and welcoming staff. Owner-operater Allie provides fantastic service and makes every guest feel special. Food menu (snacks and paninis) is a great compliment to the great local beer selection, and their support and initiatives within the community is incredible. Certainly a new staple of the Parkdale neighborhood and great for a date night, catching up with a friend or for a solo drink.
