Best time ever! Wish I came earlier because there is so much to do! I m coming back

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND GO TO FREE PLAY INSTEAD!!! 100% better than this dump. Came to Tilt for the first time back in 2018 and never returned. This arcade was dingy, dirty and the food was stale and gross. The games were sticky to the touch and some just didnt even work. Staff werent very friendly, either. If this place ever reopens (hopefully not) DONT bring your kids here. At all. The vibe is not right for children to be in.

I cant say it was a very fun place, some machines were not working, there was a lack of seating. Maybe it was a concept because the machines were old, I dont know exactly, but it wasnt very fun for me. And when you go there you need to pay $10 to get in.

Excellent place. Pinball machines, old school console and arcade games, a variety of non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. I couldnt stop smiling! Yummy mini pierogies too! Highly recommended! Food

Hey! New machines, some old and some older. New location! Bigger and better than before. This place cleans the beer taps and lines professionally AND frequently. Great place to have much fun. Arcade and pinball machines plenty and so much more. Great food and drink options. Something for everyone. Ants in your pants? At TILT you can dance. Yes, they have dance machines. Cool.

Wish I could give this place a 0 and shut it down from the lack of customer service and the misogyny me and my friends felt. Came to celebrate my birthday wanted to get a pad/tampon from my coat after coat checking 3$ and was told I had to pay another 3$ to get something from my coat that was visible in the small open coat check. He was very rude and not only that but told us we d have to pay 3$ again if we wanted to go outside to smoke after having paying 10$ entry to get a stamp that allowed us to go in and out. All the men were rude and clearly wanted tips, the one woman was the only nice one. Worst place I would not recommend you go here unless you want bad customer service and you ll spend a lot of money here too so stay home and play games on your phone you ll have more fun

Brett is a genius for getting the consoles to work as they do! Some of the machines did need some touch ups, but its to be expected of retro hardware in 2024. Besides the games, the food was delicious! Very well seasoned and priced. The alcoholic drinks were around $9 for a canned seltzer. Overall, very much worth the experience and price of admission.

Really good, large-sized arcade bar. Lots of pinball machines, N64 games, Super Nintendo games, old school Pong, Dance Dance Revolution, some first person shooters and more. Good selection of beers, never tried the food.

Came here for my kiddos birthday and she had so much fun! You pay $10cdn at the door and every game is available for play. Kiddo was so excited to go from game to game and play all the favorites.

Such a fun place! Even had game consoles set up for Mario Kart and Smash Bros! Loved it! Perfect way to cap off the trip I made to Toronto.

Disappointed to see children running about. Youd think a bar would be 18+ but I guess not.

I love this place! So much fun. We didnt have any food but the games were awesome and the drinks were good. Bartender was fast and friendly.

For only $10, all my friends embarrassed me at Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros for several hours. THEN, I got wrecked at Dance Dance Revolution. At least pinball is single player. 10/10 would recommend

We came all the way from Kitchener and had a blast got there when it opened and left around 930. Brought back a lot of memories and had a blast. Didnt have any food or drinks but the food looked good maybe next time.

It s a great way to escape and be around fun people for a small fee. Highly recommend. Love the decor, the atmosphere and music too.

This place is fantastic, there s something for everyone. The booths with the tv s and N64 s are so much fun! Sunday afternoon wasn t as busy as I thought it was going to be. The staff are great too! The price is incredible! $10 a person and free games, how can you go wrong with that?! I will definitely be back!

Love, love, love this place! I used to attend the Dundas location on a regular basis, but only just visited the Queen St location. It s so much fun! I m in my 50 s and focus on the many pinball machines, but I ve brought a 12 yr old and he loved it too (despite the old people he said haha). If you re there alone and want to play a game that requires two or more, people are pretty good about being approached and joining in. The drink selection is great and the snack bar has some tasty treats! $10 for all you can play games, makes for an inexpensive, very fun, night.

This place is great! You pay a cover fee and then all the games are included. Lots of fun vintage arcade machines, pinball, skeeball, ice cold beer (the game and the beverage!). Also the tap list is all local Ontario beer and usually a pretty solid selection, a fun cocktail menu and a kitchen with great bar snacks and food! Lots of fun!

The drinks are great with plenty of options, the games are fun, the space is clean, theyve got a zillion pinball machines and classic arcade games, theres booths to sit if you want to play vintage games away from the crowd, the price is reasonable, the staff is friendly- what more could you ask for!! 10/10

We were there on Sat night. It was super fun. The arcade games really brought back alot of memories. Not to mention all the games were in really excited shape. It was a total blast.

Went there as a first-timer, the place was kind of underwhelming. There was no word signage so it was very easy to miss just walking around there. Immediately when me and my boyfriend came in, there wasnt much of an explanation... thats fine. At the bar, we ordered food and the blond-haired lady working at the bar was very rushy, as if she wanted to be out of there... After getting our food and heading to the bar to put the dirty cups there. I didnt know where the dirty glasses go, and accidentally put them on the drying mat... She then got angry and said that dirty cups go on the tray... She was incredibly rude and didnt tell us either, there was practically no signage either for dirty cups or clean cups only like how other places have it. The machines were very cool it felt very nostalgic and it was fun playing with them, Ill add that the machines need a good tune-up or at least a bit of oil in them from the people who use them constantly. Some machines are also due for a calibration and some of the games had stiffy and sticky buttons.... Honestly location-wise, not the most ideal, its alright but I dont think Id ever want to come back again as the whole experience was underwhelming, to say the least.

Its is great for all you can play. However I think its good for 1 time visit. We loved it but the games are all the same and we wont be returning soon. We may come back with some friends. Good place to experience at least once.

These people, particularly the security guard, have lost their marbles. My friend was not treated respectfully by the security guard. I would not recommend this place

They wont even let us in. Honestly seemed racist she wont even listen to us. The manager didnt even let us check.the place out and was standing in front of us as if we were theives. She could have asked for ID but she didnt. I am 40 years old. 3

Incredibly rude staff, had a wonderful time until bartender opened his mouth and caused a scene because he was begging for tips. The vibes and the night got ruined after. Was going to tip cash at the end of the night, but thanks to brown beard, we didn t. Newsflash, some people can t afford to tip, there are a lot of struggling people in Canada and it s not mandatory, never make them feel small just so you can get your 10%. Also took our fries off our table while ordering drinks. Will also probably get some contradicting wanna be comedian response as I ve seen on their replies to bad reviews.

Been here a few times. I really like the retro games and 80 s theme they have going on inside. Lots of fun games to play - I love playing the classic Super Mario Games. Their smash burger and poutine is much better than you d expect from an arcade. Definitely worth a try. And they have a great selection of non-mainstream beers on tap. The only criticism is that every time I visit, at least one or two of the Super NES game consoles isn t working properly. But I suppose that can be hard to stay on top of with their volume. All in all, a great place to visit for an evening out.

We went on a Thursday. Ten bucks for unlimited play. Great setup and good price. Lots of games, friendly staff, and clean interior. Id recommend.

Best arcade bar Ive ever been to! The DDR game is tucked away in a corner that we missed on our first lap or two around the bar. Love how we arent nickled and dimed and can play as much as we want. The booths with TVs and game cubes as well as NES games is genius and wish I had something like this back home! Will most definitely be back

My first time at Tilt Bar and its a nice place. Staff are really friendly. Plus the game selection is great. Love the older classic games my self. I would recommend Tilt Bar for a fun time with friends and family.

Both my daughter and I really enjoyed this place. The food was good going down but we got a bad case of upset stomachs shortly after which was hard on me because the washroom was not accessible. Going down stairs multiple times was hard and eventually painful for me. I dont know if we will return.

Id rate higher if it wasnt for the grouchy door person who apparently hates kids. Was there for a work function and couldnt flag down my boss, was told to just wait in the doorway until he got there, I had to shout for one of my coworkers from the doorway to find him. He was rude. Not surprised his tip jar was empty. Apart from that there are a lot of games, good snacks, drinks are reasonable, inviting atmosphere and both my coworkers and kid enjoyed themselves.

Absolutely unreal place. I wish we had these back home in Aus. $10 entry with unlimited games to be played and no timeframe?! How can you beat it. Top it off with a bar & food service, Tilt Arcade Bar has my heart.

One of the best Arcade bars in Canada. Large collection of games, new and old. Classics, cool new stuff, and a great pinball selection. Consoles like Switch, Nes, SNES, N64 with 100s of games. All you can play for $10. Parking: Lots of street parking, but check the signs. Side streets near by have free parking. Kid-friendliness: Its 19+, but kids allowed until 8pm. Must be accompanied by a guardian. Max 2 kids per adult.

Great arcade. I also like the food. They have a Baby Pac-man machine. Lots of arcade games and pinball tables. Several game consoles with flashcarts full of bootleg roms. Game consoles seem to have composite video plugged right into a modern display instead of through a scaler (except for the single station with a CRT). Some of the NES controllers are worn out. Would go back. Wheelchair accessibility: No. Bathrooms are down a flight of stairs.

Seriously, and I mean SERIOUSLY, in terms of food, service and atmosphere, this place blows me away! The staff over here is absolutely INCREDIBLE. They are the greatest example of customer service. The food and drinks that you can get here is also really good and then theres the atmosphere! The atmosphere is SO good that you can literally get lost in time! Youll forget what time it is and itll fly by! This place is SO much fun!

Lots of cool retro video games, especially lover the game cube Mario kart. Remember that they are cash only for the $10 entry and to bring your ID!

Its a fun spot. They have good drink offerings. Its probably best for a max group of 4 so you can play with each other. No available games for larger groups. Gets busy on the weekends with a line up. Entry price is fair but it is CASH ONLY and I hate using the scummy atms on a brim. Some of the machines keep getting stuck which is annoying

Came here when it was still on College. Visited recently while it was on Queen and was shocked by the amount of children around on a Friday night even though this is an arcade BAR.

Some of the games dont work properly which is kind of a bummer. But the games that do work are fun, lots of retro games and classics. Was a good time!

Kids and adults had a blast. Nice to play the games we grew up with.

I love these antique pin ball machine and some other mix of new arcade!! With a small cover fee you can spend a whole night there!!

Old time Arcade with classics like Pac man and donkey kong... Along with booths with consoles and a few newer Arcade games. Afternoons are mostly kids but evenings are older, since there is a 18 year old cutoff point at 8pm. Great place for nostalgia for video games.

Brought my girlfriend here. It was our first time there and we had a blast. Some the games werent working properly but thats expected with some of these older games. 10 bucks for unlimited is also not bad considering the cost of things in the city. Definitely a good date night locale

Super cool place with lots of different games and friendly staff. I m docking a star only because it felt uncomfortably hot and humid in there as it got busier, so it didn t seem well suited to larger crowds. Very nostalgic and unique!

The amusement factor is great here, for $10 a day. The classic games that are popular may require a short wait. The games are in working order and nothing was disappointing. Service at the bar exists, and there is a pick up window for food. I ordered Tri-force nachos ($7.50) with additional chilli. ($2)+ Tax. The booths are equipped with retro game consoles. Overall, there are several classics that I didnt play arcade style until todays visit including: frogger, Donkey Kong junior. I did play ms.pacman, galaga and asteroids when they originally came out. Mario brother, Dance Dance Revolution and many of the pin ball machines are in fantastic shape. The sit in or shooter type games like Super Mario Bros,.Daytona USA and Terminator were epic. I loved Stranger Days, Adams Family, AC/DC, and I didnt get to play Venom, or some of the Star Wars pinball machine games. Some of the classics had versions I didnt know about including baby pacman. For a great price, this place has fantastic appeal for nostalgia, dating and family fun. The space is quite a lot larger than whats visible in the window. At night the DJ spins retro music that adds to the great feeling of remembering a certain song. I heard a few tunes from the eighties and nineties!

I took my 5 years old kid to play arcade for the first time. The games are great, although they have no Mega Drive. We were told from the beginning that we would have to leave at 8pm because of the kids. The big problem was when we left: they wouldnt allow my kid to use the toilet after we left! My kids is crazy to go back, I will definitely look another arcade where children are more respected.

A very disappointing experience. Traveling alone with 3 of my 4 kids (7,9,14). Tried to stop on for some light dinner and pinball. No such luck. Denied entry. Establishment has a policy that only two kids are able to enter per adult. I guess only married folk and or people with two or fewer kids can visit. #disappointing #proudfatherof4

This place is a Hidden Gem totally amazing energy games for days great craft beer and good finger food comfort food I got lost on Mario Kart Terminator joust all the Retro games that we grew up on this place is a total gem cheers

Great value and fun.

$10 for all you can play games? Worth it! It does get very busy so sometimes you are waiting a bit to play certain games (e.g. basketball), but we ended up finding a seat at the booths to play old school arcade games, who doesnt love that? The bartenders are always super nice and helpful. Greasy snacks were perfect for the vibe, the mac n cheese bites and deep fried pickles are my favourites. The shots are tasty too with unique ones. Overall such a fun vibe with friends, always come back!

What a fun place for the kids! $10 entry covers unlimited play for hours (on the weekends, 2-8pm, kids need to leave after that time). So many games, everything in good working condition and clean. Adults can have a beer and kids a soda (didnt try the food), and play many games together. Great way to spend an afternoon - and the kids are just sooooo happy to be there. Note that its max 2 kids under 18 per 1 adult.

Cool place, but the volume of the music is way too high. Ive never walked out of a bar with my ears literally ringing. It also seems to get louder as the night goes on. Food is terrible, and a lot of the games straight up dont work.

Very run down place. All games are very very old games way before my time (Im 30) and they had 3 games that were newer but there was a line to play. All tables were dirty and sticky with noone cleaning up. Theres a 10$ fee to get in to play even though all the games sucked and there was a wait for each game. Wouldnt come back dont recommend unless you like really old retro games and like to wait to play.

Lady at the reception really didn t want us there, asked us if we had id s but why do we need id if we re not drinking, i asked her that we can show her the id on phone but no, she just don t want us there, so rude.

Free play games. Two entries for the price of one on Tuesday. Fun times were had by all.

Food was passable, unlimited games for $10 is a good price, some tables have poor noise distribution staff were friendly (with the notable exception of whoever is handling the food who was kind of rude) would come back here again but would recommend coming at night time (kids running around during the day when I was there). Also small note Everdrive 64 had zero rom hacks not knocking them for that but missed opportunity there

Too bad there is a rule for younger kids to get out by 8pm. It s certainly not legislated or the law. Otherwise, great place.

Great collection of arcade games w cheap food

As a visiting tourist it was a really fun experience. The cover charge is $10.00 and that grants you free games all night. But, its cash to enter which I wasnt expecting and turned out to be a trek to find a bank machine. Once inside, you can use Tap for food and drinks. I recommend the deep fried Mars bar.

Its a very cool place to be and I enjoy the selection of games along with the staff. Music was far too loud, though. It made talking pretty tough, but more than anything it made trying DDR for the first time really tough. I would say the music shouldnt really overpower the games so much. But, the food was nice. Sharing periogies was enjoyable, and it was a great place to meet up with some new people. Memorable place for sure.

Love this place. A one of kind arcade bar. $10 gets you through the door so you can spend hours playing old school video games. You also get in and out privileges with a stamp on your hand. Pinball machines, cabinet arcades, and even booths with console systems. A must visit if youre in the Queen West Village.

Went for some post work drinks with a bunch of friends. I had the Oklahoma smash burger. It was delicious. Bartender was very friendly as was the guy at the door. Wanna say his name was Mike?

Wow, I had family visiting from Sudbury. My younger brother and I had a blast. Brought back old memories of the arcade we hung out at. The staff was always ready to help out. The food was awesome. Im looking forward to going again with any other visitors staying at my place. Be sure NOT to move from the Queen Street West location. Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring a family to let them experience the throw back experience.

You cannot beat $10 a person for all the games. Absolutely one of my favourite places. Employees are also very nice and helpful. The food is cheap and good. Great for a date night or out with friends!

I havent been to much arcades in my life but honestly, this one was the best one that I have enjoyed so far (only been to this one and FreePlay). Honestly brought back so many childhood memories. The drinks selections here were pretty good and the food was decent, was just cold a bit. Will come back still. Parking: Make sure to check the parking sign to see what time you are able to park. What a great arcade in Toronto! Tons of pinball machines and classic arcade games. There is skeeball, dance dance revolution (my favorite, although I think the player 2, back arrow isnt working), basketball, pong, etc. they have booths with older gaming consoles like Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, NES, etc. Their decor is pretty cool. Good selection of drinks and delicious classic junk food. $10 for unlimited play.

This arcade bar is awesome. An entrance fee for unlimited play and half price on Monday is a bargain. There is a good variety of arcade games, lots of retro games, a bunch of pinball machines, and a few other miscellaneous games. The vibe is really cool and youll probably find something fun to play. Its a great little pit stop during a night out.

Went there with friends and had a great time!. All you can play for $10 is totally worth it. Large variety of beer. Games took me back to the days of video racing and shoot them up games with your girl next to you cheering you on and Super Tramp playing in the background without the grundiness of Yonge street.

The ambience of the place is great visually!However, auditory wise it very distracting. Loud rock noise in the backgroundas you cant hear the music and the constant influx of chatter. Amazing for big groups but not of an intimate experience.

Spent my 30th birthday here and had a lot of fun despite the poor customer service and unwelcoming vibe. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a miserable lady who looked like the last place she wanted to be was at tilt. She looked irritated and judgemental which kind of threw off the whole celebratory vibe. She had asked us to pay $10 cash for entry, but because I was holding the cake and decorations (they don t serve cake so I had to bring everything myself), I had asked her if it was okay to set things down and come back and pay. She looked confused so I repeated myself and she reluctantly agreed. We were told that despite having a cake and decorations at a booth that one guest at all times had to sit at the booth as they don t reserve or hold seating. Unfortunately we weren t able to enjoy the games as a group as one person or two was always left behind. I don t think we ever came in contact with any staff throughout the night, was checked up on or helped out. We didn t get a happy birthday or any acknowledgment of our existence from tilt. We all spent at least $30 each and we had a party of 8. I had emailed them many times with no response and called to confirm that we were coming so this wasn t a spur of the moment surprise. If you re looking to just enjoy yourself and not interactive or speak to no one, this is the place for you.

Tilt is exactly what you want from a place like this. Great atmosphere, lots of games, solid pub faire, good selection of taps. Also, a great place for kids parties in the afternoon.

This is a great place for family s who love to game , an easy date night , out with the boys or just stroll in on your own . There usually a movie playing on the tv , there are booths and couch s for gaming and eating some high top tables. There are plenty of options to game on . A good selection of pinball machines, also needed some work on a few games that were down sadly. A classic favorite terminator 2 was unplayable, the controller guns weren t calibrated. The new version of pong is great fun , there s only one table so if it s busy you could be waiting for this one . There is car racing sims Mario cart and and another I can t remember because only one side was working. Getting 4 carts would be great. While there are a number of games consoles machines in the building it can tend to get a little boring sadly to say if things aren t working or the games just aren t the ones you want to play . The food is mediocre bar food , it was hard to get crispy fries even , the chicken fingers are fine , they are fried and topped with a tasty seasoning, the fried cheese nuggets are a good go to snack option. Lots of drinks to choose from , also some nice dads pops for the kids or you ! Definitely a fun spot for the kids and parents for a night out. Would like to see some different games and or more linked games , a silver strike or 2 would be great . Vegetarian options: I m sure you know what you want Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly from open to 8 pm I believe every night Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheel chair ramp , only stairs on the outside of the building and a few inside , as well as getting to the restroom

This place is a retro gamers gold mine. Go for the games, but not for the food. The beer selection is great and showcases some local breweries in addition to a house brew Tilt Brau which was delicious. If you want a throwback to your childhood through the classics. Definitely go check out this awesome bar. The neon lights and decor is really captivating and makes you feel like a kid in an arcade all over again!
