TKO'S SPORTS BAR AND RESTAURANT in Toronto

The service here is excellent, the food is very very good, the patrons are chill and have a good vibe.

The bartender gave us free pirogies once, automatic 5 stars.

I went in here just to pass the time and watch a leafs game, the bartender Mary made me feel like i ve been there a thousand times! Definately will go back if im in the area looking for a place to watch the game!

Mary is amazing as a bartender and the wings are next level. if you want to watch a game this is the best spot in East York. if you dont want to watch it its still a great pub with good beer on tap and great food.

Great no nonsense neighbourhood bar with a cosy retro feel from the decor to the fabulous classic rock soundtrack. Sit in a booth, at the bar or at the front tables. Great for solo dining or nights out with friends. Owner Mary is an absolute star, making everyone feel at home whether a regular or first time visitor. She always makes great dinner suggestions - Ive never been disappointed. Numerous draught offerings including Murphys Stout (gets my vote), and multiple screens for watching sport. The kitchen serves up a nice variety of pub favourites - wings are a must try. Bone basket a great touch. Daily specials are always excellent, and if you are in on a Friday go for the fish and chip special. No glitz no glitter, just a nice place to hang out. NB Toronto typical design with WC down a flight of stairs but its well lit with a hand rail so its definitely navigable even if you use a stick..

The type of pub every neighbourhood needs. Mary always makes you feel at home and she serves the COLDEST beer in town (hands down)!

Simple, tasty pub food at reasonable prices. Hit hard by the lock down, but is quickly building back the menu. Burgers, wings, fish & chips, roast beef. Its all good.

Went to enjoy the Leafs game but it was a disastrous experience. I used to go years ago and kept telling my friends to try TKOs but I was wrong.

Mary is great! Good beer selection and has the Champions League. Wings are pretty good too!

My daughter and I discovered TKO s while waiting for the other daughter s nearby soccer game to start. We watched some Raptors and chatted with the owner and patrons ate spaghetti bolognese. A really nice and friendly spot. Will be back for sure.

This is a great spot to have lunch and watch the game that you may not get on tv. Staff are very friendly and food is standard for a pub and quite tasty. Every seat in the house (smallish place) seems to have a good view of the screens.

Neighbourhood bar with an extremely warm host and comfortable seating. Ok Selection of Beverages, and regular pub food. A place to relax with friends, or just to unwind quietly. Daily specials change it up to offer some variety. Its not a trendy spot, more of a staple of the community to grow attached to. Simply put, I like it here.

It was extremely slow this evening but on e the orders were taken and hte food finally came it was pretty good. The bread under the Philly steak was too tough to cut with the steak knife but thy meat was tasty.

I had ordered nachos and the customer service was absolutely and utterly disastrous. I ordered a meal [nachos], the waitress had given me the wrong order, I wanted to refund the meal and the waitress was only willing to take off $2!!!!!! Mind you the food was NOT good to begin with! My concerns caution anyone wanting to go to TKOs the Sports Pub!

Would give it no stars if i could. Rudest waitress barked at me... woman has NO idea of good customer service. Also, the portions have gone down considerably in size, and prices have gone up. Someone has become greedy! Shame, because the food there was awesome. Much better places to experience in the area.

Food was great had the fish and chips. Only thing thats a downside is the oil in the fries and chips had an overused taste.

This place needs to be closer to me. The food was really good. No, really, its an awesome menu and the food was great. The staff was wonderful. Personable, helpful, efficient. I need to go back here again, but I dont make it to the Danforth enough. If you do, check this place out.

my favourite place in the world for a pint and wings.

My cousin and i decided to go to tkos for a change to try something diferent . My cousin decided to get the bacon burger and upgrade the fries to a poutine was told it was 7 dollars charge she decided to go for it .... little did we know she got ten fries on her plate who pays 7 dollars for 10 fries . We were told had to get a pop in order to get the special which is a half price burger so we did all in all the pop tasted lawful. Once the bill came we tried to speak to the old lady who was our server. We told her the pop was not good she told us in a rude tone she has been serving it all day and i was the only one with the problem. Then i tried to explain why i had to pay 7 dollars for 10 fries she slammed her hands on the table and yelled at me said there is nothing she can do . She was rude and i think the owner there was alot she. Could do first apologize , second do not slam your hands on the table especially if you are the owner . The burger was hard and burnt. My experience was disgusting and poor. I will tell everyone about this horrible place and horrible service from the miserable old lady.

The staff here is very friendly. I went here for a business meeting. Both myself and the person I was meeting with were very happy with the service and food.

I had possibly the worst, rudest service of my entire life here. Waitress screwed up the order then said its what I ordered, then started screaming at me. Honestly, I will never darken that door again.

A nice spot to have a pint and a meal or just order take out. The food is great here, especially the burgers, fish and chips, and club sandwich. The staff are friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive. It is a good spot for singles, couples or families. Will definitely return for the delicious food.

Everything on the menu is great! Takes some time to get your food, but they warn you on the menu that good food takes time, and at TKOs the wait is worth it!

The potatoes skins were way too thick. Well done on the outside and hard and uncooked the middle. I was a cook for years and it isnt that hard to scoop them out better. They used to be great at this bar. Now the food is a hit or miss, and the service that used to be the best ever is now a bit rude, unattentive and they screw up a lot. Too bad. They have such potential.

The food and service is excellent at TKOs which is why it has been a favourite with locals for 30 years. It is a unique place, family run and a great place to watch a game especially the Leafs.

Great food, with a new menu coming, prices are reasonable. Sports pub, but good even if you arent into sports.

Great atmosphere for watching the game. Server was pleasant without being over bearing. Left us in peace to watch in peace, offered more drinks when we were thirsty. Super friendly regulars, great conversation. Wings left something to be desired, but still highly edible. Will definitely go back next time I need an HD sport fix.

Very rude manager. Me and my friend went there today and ordered some cocktails (very simple ones like: a manhattan, and martinis) the bartender seemed to not know how to make these very basic cocktails and told us to order beer instead. But the manager stepped in and made them for us; me and my friend were very quiet, seldemly talked, werent rude, and tipped very well, however, after 4 drinks in the span of 80 minutes the manager came out and told us that she couldnt serve us anymore and that we had to leave. I was very puzzled by this since again, we were polite, quiet, and didnt do anything wrong, not to mention we werent even intoxicated, so I asked for the reason of eviction, she told us that we drank too much and that we werent allowed to be served more alchohol. I had 4 drinks and my friend had 3. Ive never been kicked out of a bar in my life, yet alone after 4 drinks. The whole situation seemed bizzare to me, but long story short, inexperienced bartender (she was nice though) and very rude manager, would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dont be fooled. Hidden gem. The establishment appears dated but they have a hell of a chef.

Just had a thanksgiving dinner. The house wine and food were totally beyond expectation at a sports pub and the server was super friendly and attentive - will definitely go back.

Used to eat here at least 4 days a week when I lived in T.O. summer of 2002. Food is amazing especially the burgers and any of the specials (veal parm, ribs, fish & chips). Will definitley check it out when I make it back to Toronto!
