I had to immediately go here after trying the Baldwin location for the corn bread, but was really disappointed. The tater tots were really good. Pretty small on the first floor, looks like there was a second floor but was hard to tell. Decently nice ambience. Would definitely try again for the main dishes

The taste is just a passable Texas barbecue. Its not that it doesnt taste good, but it doesnt seem to have any special charm unique to this restaurant. I felt like the portions were a bit small, but I was full after eating them. All the types of fries were in good condition as they were crispy and didnt smell like oil.

Everything is good! Next time I will try the brisket and the wings!!

Best beef ribs that I ever tasted!! 10/10

It was alright. I got the small platter for one which included the BBQ Pork Ribs and the BBQ Brisket along with coleslaw and cornbread. The ribs were great, decent smoke ring and great flavour. The brisket on the other hand was sub-par: sliced too thinly, weak bark, lean parts were a bit dry, and the fatty parts didnt render down making it tough and chewy. Maybe its cause my standards for BBQ are sky high, but pretty underwhelming considering it was $57 for the platter. Hopefully it was just a bad batch that I received, open to trying it again

Food was lovely. Staff were amazing too. We unfortunately went on a day that was super busy with really loud people so we didnt have the atmosphere experience wed hoped for but we overall enjoyed ourselves regardless of that.

The potato salad was tasty but everything else was kinda mid. Portions werent too large either. A bit disappointing.

Disappointed. Waited 30 minutes to even be acknowledged and given water despite booking a table. The restaurant was not busy. Food came out quickly after we eventually ordered, and while the sides were great (corn, sweet potato waffles fries, tater tots), the meat was dry and over cooked. Brisket should have a pink halo, but was tough and brown. The smoked turkey had a good smoke but was again overcooked. For the price point, service and food needs work. Had high expectations coming here, but will not be back.

We came into town this afternoon and we were really looking forward to eating here. After checking into our hotel, and a long day so far, we walked 3.5 km and finally got to the restaurant. I had viewed the menu online prior to leaving Regina and the menu I recieved in the restaurant was not the same. I asked if the platter could be halved. If I lived here in TO it would not be a problem to take the leftovers home. I was told no. There was no accommodation for us at all. Such poor customer service. We were very disappointed and we left. Not cool.

We arrived without a reservation on a Thursday night and were welcomed with open arms. The sampler for 2 with ribs, brisket and chicken along with Brussels sprouts, cornbread and fries was beyond Amazing! The service was over the top and the food was Top Notch! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Love the vibe in the resteraunt. Only comment would be that I dont enjoy chairs that have no backing. I made sure to sit against the wall because I didnt think the chairs without backs would be comfterable for long periods of time. Food was delicious. Server recommended dishes and she was correct. Our mocktails were so good as well. Food came quickly we asked for bills and they came in a quick manner as well. Super yummy

We went here on a Friday and had the spread for two and early on we realized the service wasn t the best, there was long waiting times for food. The food was pretty luck warm which didn t add to the experience. The corn was soggy, the ribs were chewy. The seating is very close to other diners which we didnt enjoy either. This place def had potential but we didn t encounter it when we went. They forgot our salad which was suppose to come before our meal. Just to be honest underwhelming.

Do not order their $160 takeout platter. Comes with an underwhelming around of meat and no sides.. very disappointing.

Food is good but Placing an order is very complicated. We wanted a brisket sandwich but got just the brisket, asked for Mayo, did not got it, then received chipotle before having to insist for regular mayo. Beef back ribs are UNREAL. 10/10. Sides were really good - got mac & cheese, Brussel sprouts, and coleslaw. All delicious. Service was a bit slow but they were busy. The server Javier had a great personality.

Popped into Smoque N Bones for lunch and it was pretty quiet, not many people around, which made it easy to chat but kinda lacked a bit of atmosphere. We went all out and got the sampler for 2, which came loaded with a 1/2 rack of ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, half a chicken, and sides like mac n cheese, baked beans, and potato salad. Grabbed a root beer to wash it all down too. Service was okay-ish. Took a bit longer than we d liked to get our food, but when it arrived, everything looked super tempting. The ribs had a nice salty-sweet thing going on but weren t as tender as I hoped they d be. The beef brisket had great flavor but was on the dry side for my taste. The chicken, though, was the highlight - great texture, great flavor, and even better with the cabbage it came with. All the meats were pretty good once you added the BBQ sauce they gave us. The standout side? Potato salad. There s something about it - can t put my finger on what they put in it, but it s crave-worthy. Overall, Smoque N Bones is a decent spot if you re into meat. The vibe s a bit too quiet for my liking and the wait for food was a minor downer. The foods good, especially if you re not expecting to be blown away. They ve got a nice selection of meats, and honestly, I d go back just for that potato salad.

We went there a few weeks ago to dine. The atmosphere was nice and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to get cleaned. We ordered 4 dishes, it took them an hour to serve the ribs but for the baby back ribs and sandwich were serves in about 20 minuets! We had to wait for our friends to get their ribs so my food was all cold but they offered complementary wings for the delay. We also ordered some drinks which were expensive compared to other places and the options are limited Overall it was a nice experience. And I will recommend it to my friends

I don t usually write google reviews. But my experience is seriously horrible! First we went on time got food. Once finished our food as a party of three we have one and half hour to stay!! Once ate our food not 50 Minutes in, went for a smoke and came back found the waiter removing the plates savagely dropping bones on the table and my phone was there!! It s AB respect to remove the plates by respect!!! Then they brought the bill without us asking!!! It s one of the worst customer service I have had till now. Won t recommend this place to anyone!! Weak customer service, funky workers and very disrespectful staff. Very unprofessional! They are overpriced as well! Don t waste your money or time in this place!

Okay, I dont usually write reviews, but this place was a must! Stumbled upon this BBQ spot and its a real gem! The brisket is a MUST-try, seriously tender and packed with flavor. As for the drinks, our server, Yeess? Yeah, something like that (names arent my strong suit, haha), recommended their bourbon sour without ice, and it was surprisingly good! Still chilled, great flavor. The ambiance is dark and cozy, perfect for a laid-back meal. I want to try the new location near UHN for lunch sometime soon! Highly recommend giving this place a try.

This is some fine BBQ. Ordered the platter for two with pulled pork, ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, beans and coleslaw, which quite nicely fed four. But we did also get riblets, which were equally awesome. Definitely want to visit again to try more of the menu. Good food, they just need to find a way to retain heat, the food got cold quickly

Overall great place. Had the sampler. Sausage was juicy and flavourful. Brisket was a tad dry but still full of flavour. Ribs had a nice char but again was a tad dry and not really meaty. Star of the show was the sides. Mac and cheese was delicious. Corn bread was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It paired well with the sweet butter. And sweet potatoe waffle fries were perfectly crispy and delicious.

If you are a lover of smoked meats , it is the place

Dined there had a great time, server was great knowledgeable, cocktails were fabulous. The food was out of this world had the brisket it was melt in your mouth and the braised cabbage added so much flavor. Beef ribs were amazing and fall off the bone. This is a must for all great for a date.

Food was absolutely incredible! We got the platter for two with some sides and everything was delicious. I actually didn t even want to order the smoked chicken and it ended up being my favourite thing on the platter! Ribs were amazing and brisket was very juicy. The service was ok. The servers are very nice but I think they seemed super flustered and a few times they forgot to bring more water. But otherwise they did check on us a few times Atmosphere was ok - it s a pretty tight fit in there and it was pretty chaotic.

Always a good time at this cool but unpretentious Southern American Bbq joint and whisky bar. Staff are fun, attentive and passionate. Food is great, even all the side dishes are knockout. Can never finish, always have leftovers.

we really wanted to enjoy this experience but unfortunately did not get a good server to explain the menu and the different options to us - that is critical for a good dining experience here. we mentioned the wrong size was delivered and instead were given another small side (both of which combined were half the air of the regular). food was good but portions are small for the price. plates were the most frustrating thing. picture a tin side plate - the brisket slice alone is double the size of the plate. won t be coming back here unfortunately

One of my go-to places for bbq in the city. The wings, ribs, just hit different, and the juiciest brisket is a must! Great sides like shoestring fries, sweet potato waffle fries, sprouts, and if you have room for more, Id suggest the corn bread and biscuits. Food is good but I m never going again. The restaurant was empty when we got there for our reservation. The downstairs vibe was fun and upbeat but they took us upstairs. Super quiet upstairs, no music nothing going on. About 15 tables up there and one couple in the corner. They seat us right beside the couple. Totally fine if the restaurant was full. It was empty. So we asked if we could sit in a booth downstairs and they said downstairs is for walk ins and upstairs is for resos. Fine. Can we please move over a couple of tables? The server replied no, those tables are for the other reservations. Ok. I went to the bathroom, sat at the table for ten minutes, realized no one was going to be coming in for a while and since that server didn t help me I went downstairs to talk to another server. I said that I understood that there were other reservations and I didn t want to impose but maybe if she could rearrange the tables and have us switched with another table for two on the other end of the restaurant. She said sure, came upstairs and moved us to the other servers demise. We sat up there alone for an hour and a half. Not one more guest came upstairs for an hour and a half. They wanted to keep us seated beside each other as if the restaurant was going to fill up in the next ten minutes, which it didn t. The meat was great but it took over 50 minutes to get to our table. We ordered the beef ribs and the pork ribs. Beef ribs came out 50 minutes after we ordered and the pork ribs about 30 minutes after that. There were four couples in the restaurant at the time. Feed yourself instead of their egos!

I enjoyed everything we got, the portion sizes are really big and can feed two people. The servers were very attentive and personable, will definitely like to go back.

Ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese. It has amazing cheese sauce and the pulled pork was great, not greasy or fatty with just the right amount of BBQ sauce.

Got the shareable for two item with Pork Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with fries, mac n cheese, and brussel sprouts as the sides. The Pulled Pork and Mac N Cheese were really good, no complaints. The Brisket was okay, but the Ribs werent very good. They were very stiff and stuck to the bone.

I just had my first mac and cheese from this place and let tell you something folks, this is the best friggin mac and cheese Ive ever had outside of homemade. I mean, here I was thinking my mum made the best (from scratch), well all I can say is my whole life was a lie. Dont get me wrong, my mum was an amazing cook but Holy cow, Smoque n bones wouldve given that woman a run for her noney!!! Im in cheesy heaven people!!

Got the platter for two and was disappointed with what we got. We got the pulled pork, brisket and the sausage. The sausage was tough and dry, while for the brisket and pulled pork, some of the cuts were tender, others were dry and chewy. All the meats were also cold when it came to the table and cant say i cared for any of the sides.

We recently were lucky enough to go to a private function at the new Baldwin Street location and we were blown away!!! From the sounds of it they should open very soon!! FOOD Everything we had was incredible, I will name a few dishes that truly blew me away. The Caesar salad was fantastic and the dill coleslaw was the best coleslaw Ive ever had. The pulled pork sliders were incredible! The short ribs and beef brisket were mouthwatering!! The breaded chicken bites were delicious and very high quality chicken. The macaroni n cheese was decadent. AMBIANCE It was the most Charming , perfect Ambiance Ive seen in a restaurant.... the music was classic, jazzy, and perfect blues.... I loved the music. The lighting was perfectly warming and the decor was impressive and Charming. Overall the atmosphere was basically perfect for what we enjoy most in a restaurant setting. DRINKS We met a fantastic bartender with a Charming Irish accent named Luke.... he made us fantastic cocktails--- paper plane and mint mojitos with tons of mint! PATIO The patio looks gorgeous with a very impressive wooden design that makes it feel private, yet open air. I cant wait to go back for a meal this Summer....the perfect place for a patio dinner.

My friend invited me today and ate at the bar, the food was overcooked. Also, we noticed our pants got ruined by the wooden chairs, especially with BBQ grease left before. I think they dont clean and check the restaurant properly before opening.

Ordered 1/2 lb of brisket. Numbers of flat/point slices were pretty even. I shall say it was a pretty good quality of meat, likely prime grade, as the intermuscular fats were quite thick in those point slices. Including the lean side, the meat was pretty tender; well cooked with a touch of smokey flavor. Yet, I think the seasoning was too light. I could only taste the black pepper, while wishing it could be more salty.

The food is amazing! You literally feel high just from it alone! If you have a preference go to the second floor, there is a good bartender named Luke , he will serve you very well and make your experience even better.

My girlfriend arrived at 10 pm , hoping we could still be seated. Thankfully, the lady at the front was welcoming to have us seated. Granted, the last call was 1030. We got seated quickly at 1010. They had the menu conveniently next to the entrance, so my girlfriend and I were already looking at what we wanted as soon as we were seated. Once we got seated, our waiter was quickly ready with water and ready to take our order. We ordered the sampler for 2. Which consists of 3 meats and 3 sides. Our waiter told us this is a great option and offered his recommendations as we advised him this was our first time. We were most definitely not disappointed with the recommendations. The bbq was amazing and flavorful. Tender. And full of juices in the right spot. The food came in quickly, which surprised us. We were recommended the pork ribs , brisket, pulled pork for the Meats , and mac n cheese, Brussel sprouts, and baked beans for the sides. We last minute added an additional Cole slaw as my girlfriend wanted to try it. Pork ribs were cooked really well. Meaty and seasoned well. Not too salty. And a real bbq flavor. I wished it was more fall off the bone, but the meat and flavor were enough for me. The pull pork was done just right. I find this one needed bread, which we didnt get to order. But the meat was done just right. The brisket has to be my favorite. It was juicy and flavorful. Portions were just right for 2 people The beans were so good, no complaints. The bruisel sprouts were cooked just the way I like them. Crispy and seasoned to perfection. Mac n cheese was almost worth going for alone. Amazing. The coleslaw was probably the least favorite of the bunch. Had a mayonnaise taste, which I think would taste good to mix in with the bbq.

Texas barbecue is my favorite. Today I tried grilled ribs and beef brisket. They were not amazing but very authentic. The kale was very authentic and highly recommended.

Website said they were open. Walked 2.5km to the restaurant to find out they only had takeout service, which was totally useless for me as I would have to walk 2.5km back to my hotel.

I went here 2 weeks ago, and can t stop thinking about the food. My boyfriend and I came here after a company party and man there was no disappointment. Our server had great communication and gave us his opinion on what we should order. Completely smashed the food. 1000000% recommend. I don t think there s anything on the menu that would have disappointed.

Brisket was dry, not good

First time Ive been back since covid. Honestly still amazing

BBQ for two meal with ribs, brisket and fennel sausage. Ribs had good flavour but were significantly undercooked resulting in a tough pull off the bone. Brisket was sliced like deli counter thin (strange for a BBQ restaurant). Some of the slices were half fat not marbled just fat. Really disappointed. We won t be going back.

Food was ok. Ribs themselves were excellent with the right amount of smoke. I had two sides . Mac and cheese and tator tots with chipotle dip. Both were generic but tasted ok. The meal itself was good but at $ 93.00. I excepted more.

The dry rub wings recipe is one of a kind. Its simply the best wings you could taste. The mac and cheese is surprisingly good. Of course, the star of the show is the beef ribs. Overall, we loved it. However, each of us had a different favourite.

The food was great. We ordered the platter for 2 to share. We got the ribs, briskets, and chicken for main and potato salad, tato tots, and brussel sprouts for sides.. the proteins were very tender and flavourful; same as the sides. The only disappointment was it took quite sometime for the food to come (more than 40mins).. I guess they took the time to cook and prep the food from fresh.. I would like to give the restaurant 4 stars, because basically all the criteria of the restaurant are at a high level (including food and staff), but there is always something to complain about. First of all, I will highlight the terribly inconvenient entrance to the restaurant; the door opens inwards, and when there are a lot of people in the restaurant (which happens every day after 4 o clock), it is simply impossible to enter there, since everyone is standing right next to the door. Next, I would like to highlight the cost of the dishes - in my opinion, the cost of the dishes is a little overpriced compared to other restaurants of this type. However, I can highlight the delivery as a plus - if you ordered home delivery or pickup, then be sure that your order will be ready on time, or even earlier.

Reviewed this place 5 years ago and gave it 5 stars - loved the food and atmosphere at the time! Sadly, after more than one poor experience there in the last few years - including one just recently - I decided to update my review as I feel there has been a change of ownership thats deteriorated the service quality here. The great/good: the food is still very good and the menu is quite large - our party enjoyed the variety of meats we ordered, especially the riblets! The bad/poor: the service is now horrendous. In my most recent visit, we could never get help, the serving staff kept changing within our dinner and I had to continually remind them to bring drinks they forgot. Finally, and shortly after serving the main course and a round of drinks - which took a while - they informed us the table was booked after us and we would need to leave in 10 mins (they didnt tell us this earlier), which was totally unreasonable. Our group is normally quite friendly but we directly confronted the staff over this to get more time, and our tip reflected the overall terrible service experience. I wont be back - there are comparable BBQ options in Toronto with much better service - really liked this place in the past but its fallen off a cliff!

Be warned, this location does not have seating Mondays and Tuesdays, and their website does not yet reflect that.

Order cancelled 30 minutes after ordering. 5-10 minutes okay. Now its half hour later and too late to order something else for dinner.

We got takeout to eat in the park - it was a disappointing experience. Two sandwiches with sides. The food was ready fairly promptly, and we took our bag and left. The server seemed really upset that we didnt tip 20% on a TAKEOUT order. Sorry, what exactly am I tipping $12 for here? For you to put food into a bag? Maybe thats why we discovered they didnt include any sort of cutlery or napkins once wed left. For a BBQ joint, that kind of seems like a major oversight. We had to head back, and then the staff seemed very confused and it took a while for them to find napkins. Really? At a BBQ joint? The food was mediocre at best. Fried chicken sandwich was disappointing, chicken was overcooked and lacked much juiciness. The waffle fries were soggy and tasted like McCain frozen fries from a bag. Brisket sandwich again was a let-down. The brisket was decent, but the pickled cabbage seemed off. Buns on both sandwiches were going stale - they certainly werent soft, nor were they toasted. Coleslaw was pretty standard. Really underwhelming as a whole. Feels like everything is just slapped together haphazardly. For $60 for two, this was a pretty big miss. I wouldnt go back. Theres many BBQ joints in the city, and they put out a far superior product at a similar cost. The staff also seem far more in tune with getting an order right. Hard pass in the future. Do better.

Foodwise, Smoque N Bones is one of the best BBQ restaurants that we have tried in Toronto. We were two couples, we ordered two SAMPLERS and that was enough to keep us full for the rest of the day. So, perhaps the price is a little steep but, the portions are reasonable, and the SIDES are actually good. The cocktails were very enjoyable and a great companion to the feast. We must agree that space and the seating can get uncomfortable and the service slow at times but, the staff is friendly and diligent.

Brisket and turkey were both quite dry and lacking flavour. The brisket was especially disappointing, which really surprised me. The chicken wings were decent. The mac and cheese was delicious, and the coleslaw was good too. The wait staff were kind, but we waited about 45 minutes for our order. Came to about $55/ person. Likely will not be coming back here. Maybe we got unlucky, but given the wait time and quality of the food, we were extremely underwhelmed.

Why do you cut your brisket into thin deli slices?? It dries the meat out fast, the pieces have a curve to them from being so dry. When the fries are better than the brisket Super sick this morning.

Mouth-watering BBQ place. Top cooking and super seasonings. Really a nice place. On the ground floor you eat at tables with an open kitchen.

The mac n cheese is amazing here! Also, the service staff is exceptionally friendly, look out especially for one server named Aya who will make you feel so welcome and so at home (no lie).

This place is not what it used to be. Food, service and ambiance used to be great, but they definitely aren t anymore. The slow service is the worst part - took us 30mins to get our drinks, and a full hour for our food. Not to mention it was freezing with the AC cranked super high. Lastly, our $60 baby back ribs were honestly not good - the meat tasted funky and I feel like I could make better ribs. Will need to find a new BBQ place, I m not coming back.

I dont believe in giving small businesses terrible reviews if its merely a staff issue. Its hard enough to survive as it is so I like to give ppl the benefit of the doubt. The food was good. But I feel the service and product knowledge of the staff that was serving us really didnt understand what customer service was really about. It could have been just bad luck on my part. Unless they were horrible I do believe this place is worth trying. Just get a little info on what to order and expect.

Smoque and Bones in Baldwin Village is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon, and its an absolute treasure! If youre a fan of high-quality smoked meat and bourbon cocktails, this place is a must-visit in Toronto. The cocktail and appetizer menu is so so unique that it s probably one of the few places you ll ever find with an eclectic mix of whisky, cornbread, root beer, orange crush, and smoked meat entrees that are brined for days. It s perfect for date night because the staff are all so incredible that you ll probably stay till closing time and go out for live music with them in Kensington Market afterward. The Irish mixologist knows his craft so well that he can tell you the mineral density and origin of your drinking water. Ask him. Smoque and Bones is the place to be. You cant put a price on an experience like this. Ill definitely be returning for more good times and great memories.

The food was good but I dont know if I would go back. Got the sampler for two with the ribs, brisket, sausage, cornbread, mac and cheese and sweet potato waffle fries. Overall the flavours of all the foods were good. The ribs were tough - Ive had better ribs at Scarborough rib fest. They werent terrible but they were not cooked well enough. I felt like I was struggling to get the meat off the bone. The beef brisket was the best meat from our selection only it was lukewarm - not pleased. The sausage was dry. Well seasoned but dry and not worth buying again. The Corn bread was delicious but we got two tiny pieces. This was of course enough food given we ordered so much however, I would be afraid to order it as a side for $10 and get two tiny pieces again. The mac and cheese was good. Flavouful, well cooked, good texture. The sweet potato waffle fries were over cooked and cold. Im not sure why the food was all different temperatures. I dont know if its a timing problem in the kitchen but that missed detail was very dissatisfying because the food was well seasoned and flavorful. You can tell they take the time to smoke and season the dishes but completely drop the ball when its time to plate it for a meal. I expect more attention to such a significant detail for a $100 platter. Servers were nice and helpful. SIDE NOTE: the restaurant is tiny. The upstairs tables are so small I felt like my drink glasses were going to crash to the ground during my meal. If youre a bigger person or have mobility issues, good luck getting in and out of the table with only 10 cm of space between each cramped dining seat. I felt like I was eating my dinner with everyone else at the restaurant instead of with the person I came with. If they took out a table or two it would be much less cramped. Its borderline uncomfortable. 6/10

Absolutely amazing!! The food was mind blowing! No exaggeration. Genuinely do not know what else to say but wow, and compliments to the chef.

I took some Southern cousins from Atlanta and they actually enjoyed the ribs. The ribs were falling off the bones. Well seasoned. They put the bbq sauce on the side and tried with and without it and it was still tasty.

This was my first time there . I went with my homegirl and the food was so delicious! the corn bread and ribs, mac n cheese, the chicken , the pull pork... need I say more!!?? The atmosphere and customer service was amazing also. I recommend this place for any occasion.

I visited this place for the first to celebrate my birthday. Finding a place to park was a hell. The food looks amazing, but honestly I don t think it s worth it. The ribs had to much fat and were dry. They knew it was my birthday and didn t offer a dessert or anything. Also as a policy the minimum consume was $55 per person. We spent more than $55 per person but still feels awkward to hear the policy. I choose this place because of the reviews here, but I guess most of them are old and probably the place has changed. I was there for almost 3 hours and there was only one more table aside from mine, so is not a busy place. If you still want to visit this place, please note you need to bring cash or your actual card because you can t tap with your phone

My friend n I were really looking forward to eating at Smoque n Bones we were soooo disappointed---pork ribs were dry, over-cooked without bbq sauce/ sauce given on the side, potato salad way too much dill, Mac n cheese not cheesy or flavorful, wings meh, only one dessert available. Small restaurant, good music, cool atmosphere, very limited drink list. Lastly, VERY pricey for sub-par food.

Smoque and Bones is always my go too when getting bbq food in Toronto Chef Alex is the man and i have never had a bad meal here Favourite dishes are the Rib tips, Side Ribs, Mac n Cheese, Turkey and of course the cornbread. I recommend getting samplers so you can best try everything Price is not cheap but the food never disappoints

Food was INCREDIBLE. We were a large group- the service was okay, nothing special. Our server was not overly nice- but that s probably because there was auto grat and he seemed tired lol. I don t blame him . My boyfriend and I got the shareable platter for 2. It was AMAZING! We got the ribs, pulled pork, sausage, mac n cheese, tator tots and the corn. For $89 for the food it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely come back to try a couple cocktails and more food!

Amazing. Worth the price. We got takeout dinner for 2.. 2 beef brisket sandwiches, riblets in smoquey hot sauce and a medium potato salad. Full of flavor. I would buy a jar of the smoquey hot sauce if I could. We were stuffed so it could have fed 3. Will return.

I am from Montreal visiting family in Toronto and we had the opportunity to visit your wonderful establishment. The aroma was amazing as we walked in and greeted with a warm welcome. The atmosphere was simply amazing. The service was excellent professional and personable. But the highlight was the food. There is not enough words to describe the Brisket, chicken, ribs and all the trimmings. I would highly recommend anyone living or visiting downtown Toronto to visit this establishment .Reservations a must as they are always busy.

Called a month in advance to book a large group reservation for a birthday party. Was told I would hear back within 24-48 hours from an events coordinator. I did not hear back, so I followed up a week later. I was told they have my reservation request and the events coordinator will give me a call and confirm soon. Weeks go by and no response. The date I requested the reservation has now passed and I still have not received any communication from the restaurant or events coordinator.

Ordered the platter for two. The meat was so dry it was inedible. To top it off, the pulled pork was served so cold it tasted as if it came straight from the fridge. The sides were ok, but who goes to BBQ for the sides.

The sampler for two was great, the ribs and tater tots were the highlight along with the pulled pork. Only thing I wish was different would have been for the beef brisket to be less dry. Service was also great.

I was looking forward to trying Smoque N Bones, but we were disappointed with our experience there on Saturday. The BBQ was mediocre, and the service was not good. Some of our food came cold, so we were not off to a good start. We interacted with our server twice, to take our order and to pay our bill. We realized shortly after receiving our food that we were missing a dipping sauce, but since it took forever for the server to come back, and at that point, our food was completely cold, it wasn t worth mentioning. We went at the tail end of lunch, and it was not busy, so I m not entirely sure what caused this. I will say the atmosphere was nice; however, I do not think I ll be back.

Went to this place because of the high review ratings. We placed a take out order for the platter for two along with the riblets and buttermilk biscuits which was ready in 15 mins. The riblets and ribs were very tough but tasted OK. The brisket was tender but didnt have much flavor, and the sausage had an okay snap but very mild flavor. The blueberry butter went really well with the biscuits and their other condiments were spot on. I dont know what went wrong, this is my first time here and I am guessing they had an off day because their ratings are quite high. I might try again another time just to reevaluate my experience.

Amazing food and spectacular atmosphere. The food took a little while to come out however it was worth the wait. I believe our server was named Javier. I was unable to tip him as much as I wanted as I had to pay the bill for my friends before the e-transfered me. I repeatedly apologized to him. He proceeded to tell me never to come back. Im sorry I was unable to tip well Javier, have a great Christmas.
