Eggsmart in Toronto

Ordered breakfast for delivery with turkey bacon because we don t eat pork, was sent eggs Benedict, and was over an hour late. Couldnt eat 1 meal and the other one was stone cold. Dietary restrictions: Specifically asked for turkey bacon in a blt was sent eggs Benedict with pork, couldn t eat meal.

Terrible service with smug attitude. Seriously unsurprising how the restaurant was empty.

Ive been to other Eggsmarts which are mediocre but this location is much better. Ive been here twice now. The food is great and the service is fast and friendly.

This Eggsmart is amazing the staff is great and has a great special breakfast and comes within minutes of ordering just the way I like my eggs and breakfast

The Spanish guy who works at the front doesn t know what he s talking about. I asked for Turkey bacon for the early bird special and he said they can t do it, meanwhile every other location does. When I challenged him he became very rude.

Unprofessional staff

Ordered by Uber promotion buy 1 get one free, for 30$( regular price for 1 -20$). Got just one meal. Called to Uber customer service, because I have ordering every day , and using often times promotion buy one get one free . Every time it automatically shows 2 items per this promotion. I don t know what happened with Uber system or restaurant, but I got just one meal. We try to explain what it not possible to get one meal per 30$ , then regular price without promotion 20$. Anyone was not able to explain what happened and fix a problem . Guys be careful with ordering from this restaurant, will overcharge you for your order.

Great food as always

A decent cafe for a quick breakfast. Somewhat healthy food, an okay layout of the restaurant. What makes it stand out is friendly service. The staff here are simply the best.

I would never recommend this restaurant. First, because it does not meet the appropriate quality standards, I ordered a glass of water and had lipstick, I wanted to leave at that moment but my boyfriend convinced me to stay. We ordered our dishes and they brought us something wrong, we decided to eat them and the bread was very hard. Very disappointing

Disgusting experience, my bread had fungus and when I politely told the waitress to change it for me, she gave me a bad attitude. They changed my bread but at the time of the bill they charged me for the bread they changed. I didnt want to waste my time arguing but it seems important to me that people should know what they are eating.

Its really embarrassing, when a server ask you for not giving a tip, its really desperating experience for us. Sometimes people are not in good financially situation. Asian lady at the im giving review was serving us.

Worst brunch experience ever! I ordered Nashville hot chicken sandwich, they brought me waffle chicken sandwich though. I asked the waitress to take it back bring me what I ordered. After waiting for another 10 minutes they bought a sandwich for me which wasn t Nashville again. They ve just put the chicken from waffle sandwich in the middle of buns and poured some hot sauce on it to become Nashville! I don t know why the stupid cook did this and the worst part was that he wasn t even sorry.

Pancakes were undercooked (could still see the batter in some places) and there was confusion over what over easy/sunny side up eggs were. It could have just been an isolated incident, but just some things to watch out for. Other than that, it was a decent breakfast. I remember that they used to make their food better, though.

Great food and service. Price is fair and typical breakfast food. Love the sausages and I had a massive egg white omelette. All very fresh ingredients. No wait time when I was there and place is clean and welcoming. Check it out for a brunch. Worth it for sure.

Ordered breakfast and The eggs Benedict was DISGUSTING the sauce was running like water, not thick and creamy which made my whole meal soggy and not able to eat due to how DISGUSTING it was. It was all masheddown and runny to the point the english muffins werent edible. The rest of my food was also Ice cold. The Turkey bacon was WAYYYY OVER COOKED and Hard... Then the homefries were way undercooked cold in some pieces and definitely not crispy as I ordered. So disappointed $60+ dollars gone to waste

Came in to the restaurant around 2:45-2:50 pm, but the waitress mentioned they are closed and open for the take out only. But their actual time for closing is 3:00 pm. So, I said yes, I am ordering the take-out, then she let me in. I looked at the menu, which was very confusing in a sense that the picture of the Egg Benedict with the Smoked Salmon was under the name French Benedict, but I pointed out with my finger to the Smoked kind, but said word French. Well, I did not know the difference unfortunately that French is with Bacon, not French with Salmon. Got my food, paid in full and left some tip (for not even staying in the restaurant) and got back to the office. When I opened my box there was a bacon. I do not eat bacon. So, I came back and kindly asked for the replacement, however the waitress was mean and said I have to pay for it and pointed out it was obviously my mistake. Well.. But I am not familiar with the menu, I would assume she should advise me about it. And also this was my first time try out this restaurant. I would agree that it was my mistake, but not with that kind of attitude. Usually, for the sake of the customer the meal replacement is free, but apparently not. I just left my food in the restaurant. After walking down the street, around 50+ feet away I heard they yelled to come back, but as I say damage is done and disappointment about the service is also their. It was my first and last time in this restaurant. Should of keep going to Tim`s next door...

Tasteless eggs, two slices of strawberry instead of small fruit portion, salmon is very salty. The home fries is more like half boiled and barely seasoned. The place is worn down. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Totally different experience than the super positive one I had in a different branch.

We started to go to this location after the one near me was starting to get too busy. This location is great. The food is perfect, and the staff are super nice.

When I bit into my salmon sandwich, I heard a crunch. I found a small wooden utensil was either left in there or placed on purpose. I am sick to my stomach.

I got the classic eggs and fall apple cider. 8.99 for the classic and it is very filling, the home fries have great seasoning. The hot apple cider is 4.99 and fantastic. Will definitely get more of that.

I would even give this place a star. Placed an order through skip the dishes was waiting for an hour and 40 minutes to which it still said it was preparing food, which is unbelievable considering its eggs. If I wanted brunch I would have ordered brunch rather than breakfast. Had to cancel my order. DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT FRIM THIS PLACE

I ordered the Yogurt-Granola parfait and it was just a cup of yogurt no granola at all .. literally just a cup of yogurt..

Unbelievable!! Ordered Eggs Benedict, a coffee and orange juice. Driver puts the food on the ground and the bag is leaking. I looked at the bottom of the bag and it was all liquid. Coffee was only half. The rest spilled. The bread under the eggs was pure mash and watery AND the potatoes were definitely NOT from today. The orange juice was excellent. Expensive juice though, since I couldn t eat the mess they sent.

Always a good breakfast served quickly and pleasantly. Portions are generous. Parking can be a problem but theres some on nearby side streets.

How this place still in business it is beyond me. I m giving this place 2 stars because of their friendly service. It is really difficult to mess up breakfast / brunch but somehow this place managed to do so. As you can see from other reviews here the dishes barely have a side of fruits as described on the menu. The overall flavour is generic and their breakfast potatoes are far from tasty. To top it off my wife got an avocado toast breakfast and the cook left the sticker from the avocado in the guacamole mix, luckily she caught it before eating it. They apologized for this and offered to make us a new one but my wife was already in her last bites. They still went ahead and charged me for it and gave me a $5 coupon which I left because I will never be returning here.

If you want to grab some breakfast during the day this little place will give you that fix. Food is ok and the service is great.

Disappointing. Things seemed to taste diluted somehow. The peameal bacon was a bit bland, hollandaise sauce not especially creamy, and even the maple syrup was watery. Sadly, the homefries were not of a crispy variety, but rather baked and quite soft. If that s your preference, there s a good amount of them, and they re covered with a mild sort of seasoning. The space itself felt conventional for a diner/breakfast type place. With apparent capacity for busier days in a secondary space behind the kitchen. Nice size patio for warmer weather. Relatively inexpensive.

Their Gourmet Meat Lovers omelette is a great and tasty treat.

I ordered from Uber Eats. The iced coffee and pancakes were delicious. The only downside was that the iced coffee leaked during the delivery ride. This resulted in the coffee being only half-full and part of the pancakes being soggy. Other than that, it was good.

Friendly employees eventhough they got my order wrong they want to fix me another order it was so nice of them.

First time @ this location and definitely going back. We visit for Fathers day breakfast and it was a bless. The lady who served us was nice polite and efficient. She makes us feel like home. Great breakfast selection from healthier options to indulgences for a decent price.

Everything was great except the bacon which was a little too crispy and salty. The waitress was so friendly but the general services was a little bit slow because of shortage of waiters.

*Update: The company replied below and also on my Facebook post on their page, to create the impression that they care but despite my prompt responses to their requests for more information on both platforms, several days have passed without follow up from the company, so it seems their concern is just for show. Came here once and never again. Menu says that Eggs Benedict comes with seasonal fruit and has a picture of a portion cup of assorted berries. My meal arrives and I get 3 tiny cuttings of cantaloupe. I politely asked my server for more fruit as was advertised and she refuses, saying that the fruit is just garnish . I argue that it s both in the description and in the photo. She still refuses. No wonder I was the only person in the restaurant.

We arrived 40 minutes before closing and the waitress right away gave us a dirty look. We had to ask for water, no coffee was brought to our table. I ordered avocado toast the simplest thing on the menu and my plate arrived last. By the way I am a visible minority and we were joking around that this was reason for her service and in the end I believe that was true. She also made a comment to me as she served the plate yeah it took long because we had to open an avocado . What a joke

I have ordered from this location multiple times hoping they would get my order correct but NOO the lady Lauren I believe is her name always has a weak explanation. 1. I paid extra for sautéed onions and never got them 2. Asked for over easy eggs and they where well done ( no yolk light yellow which means it was over cooked ) I called and the lady assured me my eggs would be done correctly 3rd time I did what lady asked in leaving detailed notes and AGAIN my eggs are over cooked !!!!!!! I have worked in multiple restaurants and I know how to ask for my eggs! Breakfast isn t not cheap I m paying $17 dollars for fries and hard cooked eggs !! Save your money and order your food elsewhere !!!

I forgot to take pictures of the food but there was not much to take pictures of anyway lol. The place is pretty small but cute. Service was pretty good considering that there were only two servers and the whole place was packed on a Sunday morning. Our food came quick. The price was decent but the portions were small. $15 for a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, fries and a drink. The $10 trifecta was hardly enough to fill you half way. Our eggs were also a little undercooked. I don t think it s worth coming here unless you make it on time for the early bird special from 7-10am ($5 breakfast)

Summary: mediocre and not recommended Had breakfast here during my visit to Toronto. I saw a lot of bad reviews about portion sizes and decided to ignore them since I can t have big meal anyways. I should have read the reviews more carefully. Food was mediocre. I think portion sizes were not bad. I had signature hash minus bacon since there weren t many veg options. It was very disappointing. Avocado toast was alright, nothing special. Had to ask for water and only got one glass when one person on the table asked for water. Service was mediocre as well. Avocado was fresh. Coffee was good. Overall I think there are many places with better food and better customer service with same price tag.

Horrible place to go to if youre either a visible minority and or walk in with a Muslim appearance. Ive been there several times and each time I walked in I was ignored for a while until they had to serve us. Gave them benefit of the doubt on every occasion but the straw was broken the last time I went in with my wife and we stood at the front door next to a family. This family was simply told by one of the waitresses that they could just walk to the back area and pick a table. This waitress along with others didnt even want to make eye contact with us and for minutes they walked right past us without even saying a word, until one of them finally said just go to the back. They made us feel even more uncomfortable after we did sit in the back area by not even approaching us. We had enough and quietly walked out. There is no evidence of racism or discrimination of course on an objective level but as human beings we all know when we are made to feel super uncomfortable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for anyone who has a conscience.

The food is great. The only reason I dislike going here is the seating/space arrangements. I dont particularly enjoy cuddling with everyone in the room.
