Eggsmart in Toronto

One of my favourite breakfast place, staff are very friendly. Food is always fresh and delicious. Will recommend if you are visiting downtown.

Bacon was kinda salty. But other than that it was great

Ordered the avocado benedict for breakfast this morning and the guacamole had gone bad and was obviously old. Would not order from this location again.

I had an amazing experience at Eggsmart on 645 Bay Street! The food was delicious and served fresh, with generous portions that left me completely satisfied. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing breakfast or brunch. I highly recommend the classic breakfast combo its a great value for the price. Ill definitely be coming back soon! Vegetarian options: Vegetation and vegan options are here. Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu with many options which comes with kids drinks.

We travel here often for our treatments downtown and we have had multiple breakfasts at this location. The service is always great, and they even customized us our own wraps so we could have them for the long drive home. Thank you!

Staff was friendly but overwhelmed. Went for a mid morning breakfast and had to wait 30 minutes for dishes. When they arrived both were incorrect. One included a meat accidentally in a vegetarian dish. It was remade and fine. Staff were very apologetic and tried their best.

One of the worst meals I have ever ordered. Completely raw. Dont eat here.

We recently stayed at the Chelsea Hotel and therefore Eggsmart was only a couple of minutes walk away. We ended up going to the restaurant every morning of our 3-day trip, and I tried three different meals (i.e., waffle, french toast and big breakfast), all of which were fantastic. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was fast (despite a full restaurant) and the servers were very welcoming and nice. Will definitely go back on my next stay in the area!

Visited from the States and needed a quick place to have breakfast. Food was excellent and was served in a timely manner. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Ordered the Western Omelette and it was delicious.

They brought in a new owner, but with the same amazing food and a lot of the same staff. Staff were super attentive, constantly checking up on us and giving us free coffee refills. And the food was delicious and they gave me so much that I got full while not even getting through half my meal. Bonus: The location is so convenient (right down the street from the Eaton Centre) so Ill definitely be coming back here.

We have been here 4 times now and tried something different every time, was all amazing. Staff are friendly and fast even at full capacity. Very clean and prices are really good, each time we went it coast us 55$ with tip for my husband and I.

Stained mugs, unclean plates, undercooked potatoes, which were surprisingly boiled not fried. Overall, food was overpriced and mediocre. I dont usually leave reviews, but this experience was so bad that I had to write one.

Great breakfast establishment with excellent food & service. Wife/I arrived 20 mins before closing time but Daiki served us no problem. He didn t rush us & welcomed us openly. We were cognizant not to stay too late as we just wanted quick bite tbh. The restaurant was very comfortable & clean- especially the kitchen area. Always a good sign of culinary establishment I had the Eggs Benedict & my wife had the avocado toast with eggs Sunny side up. We shared a delicious mango/banana smoothie. Everything was excellent & we were satisfied. Daiki & Ragu were both excellent with their professional & personable service & very informative too. They were both a genuine delight to speak with. An ok place for eggs. Avocado toast eggs lacked avocado. Pretty weak. Shrinkflation is alive and taking this off your plate in Toronto. It was a constant thing everywhere we went. Big prices. Tiny portions. Poor quantity of toppings.

Does what it says on the tin. Super nice and friendly with great service. Pictured here was the big breakfast, where you get 4 eggs anyway (poached in this case) Quite filling, had to skip the spud, to get the breakfast down.

I had a great time the service and the food was amazing. They only had like one server who was handling everything so accurately and fast. I forgot to ask his name! (Tall, black hair, asian, wears black earring) He was absolutely the best!! I believe I saw him do three things at once and was so kind to everyone.. I would definitely visit here again!!!

My eggs Benedict was very disappointing, would not recommend at all. The hollandaise sauce had no flavour whatsoever, it s time to find a different recipe.

No childrens menu on weekends. The food was mediocre. My partner had a pan and said it was way too salty. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it tasted like pickles They put one on my plate so I feel like they used the same knife and cutting board to cut my sandwich. My children had pancakes and eggs. The eggs were not good according to my child. The jar of syrup was super sticky. Additionally, the chairs were dirty and the bathroom floor was sticky. The coffee charged at $3 even if we had lunch and it wasnt even drinkable. For the price it cost us ($90 for 2 adults and 2 children), I have already eaten 100 times better elsewhere! I dont recommend at all!

When my parents visit from out of town this is our go to for Sunday morning breakfast.

Had breakfast at this spot which was just round the corner from our hotel. First customer of the day. Service was great, food was excellent, price was very good. Enjoyed it so much, went back the next day.

The staff aren t rude, but they can waste your time not paying attention to the order getting it right. One of my 3 orders were missing, I noticed right after I walked put. Didn t get a feeling that the staff took this error and waste of time seriously enough.

2024: Super friendly Staff & good food has me coming back. This time for the Big Breakfast which has bacon, sausage, ham, 4 eggs & a choice of waffles or pancakes. Its BIG alright. March/2019: A renovation brings nice wooden ceiling lights along with fresh, artsy plastic chairs. Although the latter will bring a chill to your back and bottom. They are cold. The club sandwich is delicious with white chicken meat, tasty bacon and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. A choice of French fries or roasted potatoes are offered. Bathrooms are clean but two flights down so not fully accessible. AUG/2017: Perfectly seasoned medium rare steak (picture included.) Darn good all day breakfast joint in an area in dire need of such a restaurant. Competent pleasant staff at the ready for bottomless coffee refills. My Mediterranean or (Spanish in some circles) breakfast arrived a tad on the well done side and I was immediately offered a new plate if I so wished...I did not. It reminded me of my camping days with the Boy Scouts and did not alter the fine taste of the packed full of chicken, onions, peppers et al omelette. Truly satisfying meal with good coffee and REAL roasted potatoes. Condiments a plenty per table.

I came to this place one month ago when I visited Toronto. The staffs were quite fast and efficient. They were friendly and helpful too. I like their food, the taste and the portions are quite generous too. The place is well maintained but has limited space. Overall, it is a good place to have breakfast or brunch.

Location is perfect, the one side of the restaurant has all windows but with a warm & cozy atmosphere. Daiki our server is very friendly, courteous, respectful and the service is super fast (thanks to the cooks). Our breakfast was as expected & the price was just right. I was so hungry forgot to take photo of my breakfast, but was able to take photo of my sides.

Had a very bad experience I ordered avavado benedict from this restro from uber & it was delivered spoiled. Couldn t eat it & had to throw it away. Check the picture. - Hollandaise Sauce was spoiled - They sent hard poached egg instead of soft poached which I requested. This is one of my favourite breakfast but unfortunately they are failing to maintain the standards on deliveries. Around 30$ got wasted because even the coffee didn t had any sugar even after specially selecting 4 sugars in the uber app. Really disappointed.

I would give 10 stars for the food and service if I could. Our server was fantastic and attentive. Frequent coffee refills. The avocado Benedict was amazing. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the toppings and hollandaise sauce the most delicious combo. My partner really enjoyed the hash bowl. This is now my breakfast spot when visiting Toronto.

Went 3 days in a row, all 3 days tried something different and all 3 were great! Service was fast and friendly. The OJ is expensive but well worth it for the delicious freshly squeezed juice.

Tastes as good as I remember! February 18/24- touring downtown as I stumbled across this childhood memory. The kid in me knew I had to stop by so I did so and it didn t disappoint! I have vivid memories of when my dad took me and my sister here in Scarborough but this eggsmart is nice too! Furthermore, shout out to the Turkish waiter, he served me nicely and we joked around before he delivered my generously portioned food!

I used to love coming to Eggsmart for breakfast, but my recent visit was very disappointing. The eggs were not tasty at all, which is surprising because its such a basic dish. The service and staff were great as always, but unfortunately, the food just didnt meet my expectations. Its sad to say that this once-favorite spot has fallen short for me. I hope they can improve the quality of their dishes in the future.

Staff was super nice, accommodating and patient (they dealt with a noisy customer really well). We had an Egg Benny to go and it was the worst food I ate this week. Card board peameal bacon, dry English muffins and undercooked home fries. Sorry but it was pitiful. Go to Frans north 2 blocks and right on College if you want a legendary low cost breakfast.

I went here early morning after a night at the sleep clinic. There are some customers at the early hour. Quick service. I was surprised at the waiters friendliness despite working so early!

Make sure the food comes out as ordered before eating it. I ordered a menu with bacon added to the basic menu, but the food came as standard, so I questioned it and only then did they bring me bacon. And when paying after a meal, check the bill carefully. In my case, I questioned it because it included coffee that I didnt drink, and I casually made an excuse that the bill was calculated based on the two tables combined, but at the time, there was no team in the store who only ordered coffee. I feel like it happens on a regular basis. There are restaurants operating like this these days... OMG

I generally prefer the Mediterranean and it is awesome. The 4egg omelette is delicious. Size of portion is good and once had, you are good till evening. The servers make sure your food is exactly like how you like it. Little crowded during weekends.

Food was okay. Portion on the keto skillet was smaller than expected. The skillet is just a plastic thing in the shape of a skillet, its just a small omelette in a funny container. The fruit portions were uselessly small, a little sauce cup, maybe 4 cubes of melon. The classic breakfast portion size was large. Service was super fast and very nice though.

ATTENTION !! Without hesitation, the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Hygiene is non-existent, the employees have dirty clothes, the kitchen as you see in the photo is disgusting, there are midges everywhere, the cleanliness of the dishes left something to be desired, as did the cleanliness of the room in general. which is greasy even on the walls. But thats not all! The disinfectant available at the table has expired, I am curious to know if the same is true for the products on our plate. The wait was incredibly long to not receive our entire order, and the little we received we did not receive what we ordered. We had to justify ourselves again to reduce the invoice given all the products ordered that we did not receive, and an addition that we had not requested was strangely found on the invoice to inflate the price . We couldnt even finish our plates because we were so disgusted. I chose this place based on Google reviews and cant believe this restaurant didnt buy positive reviews to get such a good rating, because if it were up to me I would close this restaurant right now.

Eggsmart is my favourite brunch restaurant! The service and staff are amazing, Shelly is the nicest waitress ever! The food is also so quick and delicious, super large servings. I always come here in the morning after a night out, its my go to!! Everyone should come here!

It s plentiful and delicious. Coffee is unlimited refills. Anything left over can be packaged. If there are two people, order one first, try it, and then order more. For those who have less quantity, 2 is more ^^

Visited from Scotland 2 days ago. It was actually a last minute thing and Im glad we did it. The girl who served us was really nice and advised us well. Couldnt keep up with all the coffee she kept pouring every time she passed. So if Toronto take the time to visit.

We have been to Eggsmart a few occasions and each time is great. Service is fantastic - attentive and friendly. Our coffee cups never got too low and the food is tasty with reasonable prices. The tables are a bit tight but its always busy which is a great sign. Will return.

I had breakfast here on a Saturday morning around 9 AM. Shortly after I arrived it started to get busy. I got the keto egg breakfast because I have trouble with bread and sometimes potatoes so this was a great alternative for me. The atmosphere was chill and family friendly. I was greeted by friendly wait staff. I would definitely come back next time Im visiting TO. If I got it again I would ask for no red onions (or less because they arent my favourite). The double smoked bacon too was spot on! I also liked how there were many egg options and I could choose the specific kind for my meal. Definitely lives up to its name. Thanks for breakfast! Kid-friendliness: We saw a few families there. The space is small but you are able to have children there and it wasnt too noisy. Just like a general hum of people talking.

Had a very nice breakfast this morning. Portions are large. Meal was prepared very well and exactly as ordered. Staff are very friendly and provide quick efficient service. Orange juice is fresh squeezed and delicious, if you dont mind paying almost $6.00 per glass. The menu is offers a nice variety. Little touches like avocado or fruit on the side is great. Will go back again during my stay.

Over easy eggs were runny. Wife had avocado lox and it was dry and un appealing...and not too tasty. Big breakfast, 2 coffee, side of home fries. $8 for seasonal fruit bowl (half a banana, 2 strawberries, 7 blueberries and a slice each of honeydew and cantaloupe) Coffee was good, home fries decent, servers were prompt and very kind. $75 with 20% gratuity. Hefty for mediocre breakfast.

Was disappointed in finding a hair in my meal. They did replace it but after eating a quarter of my plate I noticed another hair and my appetite was gone. I didnt bother showing the second hair. Hair nets or a hat should be worn by staff while cooking.

Used to go to this place about 3 years ago. Hard to believe how terrible is now. I ordered steak and eggs this time, Steak was old meat tasted terrible, literally to puke, Home Fries soggy and cold. The restaurant atmosphere is so sad needs some painting urgent even the front door entrance Looks awful. The washrooms are in 3 words dosgusting, dirty and smelly. Not recommended this place at all.
