The waitress was very rude with us. We were a group of 8 with a baby, we had to wait for a table, as it was cold outside (-15) we asked if its possible only for the mom and the baby to wait inside and the waitress refused.

The lady did not let us and was pretty rude about it. Ofcourse, we decided as a group to leave due to this uncomfortable situation.

Great brunch place!

Tried to find something near our hotel for some non branded breakfast and from sites saw Evviva as a fairly quick walk. Luckily got min quickly but the popularity of the venue was clear as it was fairly full and a waiting line formed shortly after we sat down. The server was very friendly and quick while busy. The food is definitely not cheap however you pay for what you get. Simply meaning the serving was large and tasted delicious. Look at the art on the plate. I had a basic bacon and eggs and my friend had the Benedict. Both dishes were delicious. Definitely worth the visit.

It had a really nice artistic vibe to it, but the outside seemed unfinished. I could see the CN tower from my booth, which was a nice touch. Friendly waiters. It was an alright breakfast.

Orange juice fantastic, potatoes very forgettable, omelette, asked for soft, overcooked as they come.

Evviva is a special place. The Lower Simcoe area is a great spot for the restaurant, and I love the ambiance of the area. I was especially appreciative of Jaden, who serves customers in excellent fashion.

The food was good, but nothing amazing relative to the pricing. I came here since people gave it 4+ stars, but the place is too fancy for a normal breakfast for me. Id say the price is $30-$40 with the drink. Vegetarian options: Yes

Visited today for brunch, and unfortunately the service was abysmal. After being seated, me and my friend waited for over 15 minutes without being greeted by a server, to which point we walked up to front of house and asked to be served. The waitress who came by our table was unfriendly and did not even introduce herself. I asked her for a refill on my coffee mid meal which she said she would bring but never did. Matter of fact, she seemed to disappear mid-service and we had to flag down a different server who seemed to also be unable to locate her and gave us our bill. Several times throughout my meal the servers walked into my chair (??) with no apologies.

Went here for my moms 78th bday in a group of 7 people. Food and drinks were good. Nice decor. The food prices do skew expensive - even for Toronto. I felt the music selection playing in the background was a little off for the crowd there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Vegetarian options: Full vegan menu. Lots of options.

Im not sure what happened to Evviva, my go-to place for brunch. Their signature eggs Benedict just went from great to incredibly sad. The poached egg was completely cooked. The peameal bacon was no longer an option, and the overcooked poached egg ball was now placed on a 1 mm slice of black forest ham and untoasted rubbery English muffin. All this for $24.99 !! This was my last time going here, and I need to find another brunch spot.

I want to start by mentioning our server was polite and attentive, but the food was awful. I wish had taken some pictures to show how pathetic the chicken and waffles were. Maybe not the waffle, but for the chicken, it s literally chicken tenders - not the typical for chicken and waffles . A few more of us got their breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon, avocado) and the eggs were so overcooked they had a sulphuric green tint on them. Not just mine, but all of ours. There was honestly no flavour to the sandwich, we all had to put a bunch of hot sauce on it to remotely enjoy it. Maybe a nice sauce would do? For $25 a plate, I would absolutely never recommend this place unless they start charging appropriate prices for bland, unsatisfactory food. Or better yet, improve your dishes to match your price. We could have gotten a better breakfast at a mom and pop shop for cheaper. Do not recommend.

Evviva offers a wonderful breakfast experience! The service was incredibly attentive and welcoming. I enjoyed a delicious omelette and French baked bread with syrup, paired with refreshing drinks. Highly recommend!

Nice place Vegetarian options: They have a special vegetarian menu

First things first, I loved the cappuccino it was perfect. Nothing special about the bacon. Salmon eggs Benedict and tater tots were great as well. It is way too busy though which is a good sign but I felt a hour wait for my food was way too long. I appreciate the staff however for trying their best, I just think that larger groups were prioritized than me because I was only one person. Atmosphere is pretty nice, a bit tight for the amount of customers that come in and the music does not match the up-scale aesthetic of the restaurant and is random. I would come here again definitely as there s a lot of great menu options. However maybe only come if you re willing to wait (Came around 1pm, so could be the rush).

The Evviva Restaurant in Toronto CA is a beautiful experience not only because of the dramatic artistic décor, but also for the delicious food and excellent service. My wife and I were visiting Toronto and arrived early, so we walked over to Evviva s and were so glad we did! Evviva s offers both vegan and regular foods, plus a very robust selection of alcoholic beverage accompaniments very enticing, but we ll sample those another time when we don t have a meeting! We were hungry, and the Bacon Sausages Ham and Eggs caught our attention it was a delicious cornucopia of breakfast proteins which we eagerly devoured and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was friendly, efficient, and fantastic, thanks to our server Tekia. Ambience is modern artistic, and prices very reasonable for such high quality food and service. Very highly recommended.

This is the best restaurant for breakfast and brunch in Toronto so far, and definitely the best server in all my 8 times eating here has been Estreya , she is so lovely and always brings good recommendations, she has a very good attitude, is very organized and clear and has a beautiful hair

A bright, friendly café in the middle of Toronto. The service staff is super friendly. Our little 3 year old daughter was also taken into consideration. The breakfast tasted very delicious!

Greeted great service got seated to table wife ordered orange juice n nice cold diet coke . Proceeded to order food . I dont like eggs , so I always ordered grilled cheese n hash browns because its only listed on kids menu refused to serve me it . Never asked if Id like to pay extra just said unless your a kid you cant get it . Oh well first n last n definitely no recommending friends

I had the vegan omelet and pancakes. It really hit the spot. The food was great, I went back after a few months, The new vegan menu is great, but a bit pricey.

Asked for over easy eggs and they were incredibly watery I couldn t even eat them, my friend had waffles and strawberries and the strawberries tasted like onions, when we were seated our table was filthy and had not been cleaned, we were told someone was going to clean it for us but nobody came so we cleaned our own table so we could sit comfortably, the server did not check in on us to see how we were doing during our meal. For a 35$ breakfast I would not come back.

Over priced food. The menu was so basic serving the same items I can get at sunset grill. Not worth coming here again and to wait 45mins for such low grade food. Expected a better menu. I ve been to so many brunch restaurants. I must say this place has the most disappointing menu

Delicious food & many options to choose from. Even smaller plate sizes to choose from. Looking forward to going again! Dietary restrictions: My maple latte was made with oatmilk. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance seems like a tight squeeze for a wheelchair, but I could be wrong.

Nice place serving good food, but too expensive compared to other places in the city

I am really disappointed, expected at least better service. We were waiting more than 30 min just for the drinks . Couldn t believe they had the same Oasis smoothie you buy from walmart, and charge $7 for it. Food had no taste. Steak sandwich was greasy and had very bad smell. During the visit no one checked up on us. Would not come again.

We were in town for a concert and decided to check this place out. Really good food (we had the salmon Benedict, chicken aioli sandwich and pancakes) and lovely aesthetic, but what truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service. Jaden, our server, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, offering thoughtful recommendations and checking in at just the right moments. Would absolutely come back next time we re visiting! Highly recommended!

Yesterday I had brunch with my wife and our two kids, and it was great! Manuela was wonderful with us. She was friendly and engaging with the kids, making us all feel welcome. The food was delicious, and we left with smiles

Delicious meal. Particularly good service. The staff is smiling, attentive and efficient. The meal is quickly served. Warm atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian choices on the menu. Kid-friendliness: Several families present. The space between the tables is sufficient to move around easily with a stroller.

I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict at Evviva, and it was absolutely fantastic! The poached eggs were perfectly done! To top it off, the service was excellent Estrella was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.

We are on vacation in Toronto and we went to Evviva for lunch, since it is close to the CN tower and we couldnt discover a better place! Portions are large and everything was delicious. Extra points for the very pleasant service, Estrella attended us, who is a star, as her name says. We recommend it with closed eyes!

Dietary restrictions: Being celiac good out can be a challenge but Manuela guided me through the options available to me. I had a filling omelet with the house salad. The dressing on the salad was so Delicious!! Definitely a restaurant I all come back to. Recommended dishes

Western omlet was amazing

I just had a very negative experience at this location. Ive been to all the locations of eviva and this is by far the worst one. My order was keyed in incorrectly and receiving the food was extremely slow. Then the server argued with me about what I ordered. Everyone at the table with me heard what I ordered. Extremely poor experience.

At the time of writing this in Oct 2024, parking cost $5 per 30 mins on weekdays which is not bad for toronto prices

Used to be a great place but unfortunately they have changed a lot of their once delicious vegan menu to now items that are almost inedible. So disappointing as it used to be my friends and my favorite place to brunch. Hoping they go back to their old vegan menu one day

The food was the standard fare, and a good place to stop for breakfast or brunch with a group. The service on the other hand is on the lacking side. They will ask you if you want something, and then either not bring it, or bring something else entirely. I was trying to get a new cup of water since there was a fruit fly in it, and I just couldnt get any attention, even with several servers milling around.

The food was absolutely exceptional the best we had during our entire stay. Pair that with stunning views of the CN Tower, and it made for an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal, and every dish was bursting with flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch in Toronto!

The food is pretty mediocre for the price point. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my partner ordered the chicken and waffles. There was not much to the sandwich, just eggs, bacon, tomato, and avocado. $20 something is pretty expensive for something so drab. You need to add something to the sandwich for balance, like arugula or something. The chicken and waffles is also very ordinary. I would suggest calling it waffle and chicken, based on the serving size (very small chicken serving). Also the coleslaw it came with was the worst coleslaw Ive ever tried, it was so bland. Restaurant itself is pretty and its downtown Toronto so I guess everything is expensive. Just dont expect much for the food.

Ive been here 3 times now and each time the food has been disappointing. With the popularity I kept hoping those meals were one-offs. But after this last weekend, leaving my plate half finished for the third time, Im finally calling it: The food is mid. In a few words, the food is bland, mushy, stale. Theres no depth in flavour or texture. Everything has a sort of leftover quality to it. It lacks crispness or freshness or zest. I take one bite and immediately grab the salt and pepper. Service is friendly enough. And there are lots of options to choose from. Prices arent painful. So maybe worth dropping in casually. But if youre taking guests out for brunch and want to impress, this probably isnt the best option.

False advertisement on chicken being halal, the one who gives you the seat says yes, the chef says no. No certification what so ever Seemed that they lied to customers. They didnt serve water, we had to ask and then waited until we remind them again. Food was good.

So me and my partner went around 11:30 on a Thursday morning. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed by both the food and the service. To begin the decor and atmosphere were impeccable, however that is where our good news ends. Everyone was kind and friendly however, our server Jaden was a different story. He only checked in on us once before the bill as we had other staff deliver our food. It was clear other tables were a priority. We also felt the food to be dry and a little bland. Maybe we will come back and see if the waffles or pancakes are better. But as for the breakfast sandwich my partner ordered it was dry, barely seasoned and had no sauce which was surprising. Overall we were disappointed but hope for improvement for our next visit

Awesome spot for brunch! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was really fancy. Our server, Manuela, was incredibly attentive and constantly made sure we were feeling taken cared of despite how busy it was. Highly recommend!
