955 Mt Pleasant Rd, Toronto, ON M4P 2L7, Canada
Trendy brunch spot with spartan decor, a sidewalk patio & weekly menus of comfort food.
I'm so happy I found this spot! Some of the best Hollandaise I've tried in years. My brother had the Hangover Helper, and it was probably the first time I've seen him happy and full in ages (he'd just done the Toronto Marathon the day before) I can't wait for an excuse to go back.
My husband and I discovered this charming breakfast spot by chance, and we’re so glad we did! The avocado toast was absolutely delightful, perfectly seasoned and fresh. We also indulged in the buttermilk pancakes, which were fluffy and delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast experience that we highly recommend!
Such a good eggs benedict, with an excellent hollandaise sauce. I asked for regular bacon instead of peameal and they accommodated no problem! :) The potatoes are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, I appreciate that none of them were undercooked. Overall very impressed with the food and service despite how busy they were.
I've been to The Homeway a couple of times and it's my to go place for a lazy Saturday breakfast. We have only ordered from the omelettes. Nice staff. Good vibes. And really decent food! ♥️ Although chef, please take it easy on the oil.
We visited The Homeway today for brunch. It is a vibrant place with the nicest staff. We ordered Greek Omelette, Avocado Toast and coffees (Drip and Americano). The brunch items tasted delicious with pretty decent quantity (I was full after eating 3/4th of it). I'd recommend the place 100%. Special shout-out to Taylor who took care of us and made us feel welcomed. Thank you! ❤️
Great brunch place! Food and drinks are delicious. This is our go-to brunch place in Eglinton. I'm working through the Eggs Bendict menu here on all my visits, and every single one I've tried so far is yum 😁 Definitely would recommend 👌
During our recent visit, we decided to indulge in the Hangover Helper, avocado toast, and coffee. The culinary journey began with the avocado toast, which was a revelation in itself. The creamy avocado spread was perfectly seasoned, and the poached eggs added a rich, velvety texture that elevated the dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. Next, we moved on to the scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes, which were nothing short of outstanding. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and light, seasoned to perfection. The sausage was savory and cooked just right, providing a satisfying, hearty complement to the meal. The pancakes were a highlight, their soft, pillowy texture and subtle sweetness creating a delightful contrast to the other savory elements. Beyond the impeccable food, the customer service was truly commendable. Every member of the staff we encountered was super friendly and consistently checked in on us to ensure we had the best possible experience. Their attentiveness and warmth added a personal touch that made our visit even more memorable. In conclusion, I can confidently say that this establishment delivers on both culinary excellence and exceptional service. It’s a place I would recommend 100% to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience.
I would never get tired of this place! Been here a few times now, love everything about this place. Rotation is very quick so even when there's a line, you can expect a seat within 10-15min. Food is just amazing and it comes out quick! Amazing portions for the price. Great black coffee. Very kind service. Homey vibe. Couldn't ask for more. Update: Portions for home fries shrunk a little and fruits shrunk a lot. Could be just that one day tho. Makes little difference about my ratings.
Our favourite diner in the area. Their food is really tasty but the coffee is better than you would expect to get at a diner. The portions are huge though, so its definitely a good brunch spot so you can cover two meals at once
Great pancakes!
Cozy place with friendly staff and delicious food.
The Benny and French toast were amazing
Excellent brunch. Pleasant service, good food and no line up for a change!
I absolutely loved our first and also second experiences here, so I m giving it 5 stars. The staff were friendly, the food was warm, fresh and the service was professional. I asked the server for a specific type of egg and salad, and it was prepared exactly how I wanted. They are truly fantastic! Such a great atmosphere and great service thank you all I will come back for sure.
Huevos Benny FTW. This place is great, has always been great and will continue to be great. I love brunch here.
Just had brunch here, amazing place, very cozy atmosphere, people here are super kind to you and the pancakes are delicious, I highly recommend it !
Homemade style brunch very delicious
Yummy, fresh food
Amazing food
Great food
They messed my order but the taste was ok and the price cheap. It s ok. Food
Our go-to place for a nice brunch on the weekends! Excellent egg benedicts, friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend
Super good. Love the egg Benedict. Very busy and quite expensive for what it is tho
Great eggs Benny. We got the huevos and they were delish. Good portions, solid hollandaise, nice combos. Would come back!
A solid casual brunch spot. I enjoyed their basic breakfast plate, which is tasty and aligns well with the cost. Their juices are also good. Id avoid their pancakes - I found them to be super dry, and though they tasted fine I ended up tossing them because they were just so dry. Overall, Ill definitely go back.
One of the best casual restaurants Ive ever seen in town for breakfast and brunch
I had brunch here with my friends. The portions were large and delicious. The staff were all friendly and gave us plenty of coffee and water
Absolute gem! Great food with a patio.
I ve since revised my review because now its back to walk-in. This place is great for an any-time breakfast!
I dont know what crack these guys put in their hollandaise sauce but its definitely the best I have ever had. If you come here you MUST get one of the eggs Benedict. Also the staff are really sweet and such a cute homey vibe 100/10
Friendly brekkie spot.
We love this place for brunch, we have been going for years now. The quality still stands and service is friendly. Just be ready to wait for a table as this is a very popular place in the area
Wonderful staff, excellent food and coffee
You really get your moneys worth here and the food is great! I ve had friendly attentive service every time I ve been
I went today for brunch and I ordered the parma perfection. Unfortunately, it was far far away from perfect. The description says the dish comes with grilled tomato and balsmaic reduction, but I got thick slices of fresh tomato and no balsamic at all as you can see in the picture. I complained right away about the tomato because I dont eat it fresh, but I didnt mention the balsamic. The waiter called the waitress who seemed to be also the supervisor as she was the one handling complaints and payments. Although she offered to bring me a new dish, she replied: the tomato looks grilled! Well, if it is grilled, why are you offering me another one? What exactly are you gping to change? Then I got the new one again without balsamic. The eggs were okay, but the fries were probably the worst I have ever had. After I paid I told the waitress that the fries were over cooked and more like chips than home fries. She replied, yeah it is a bit crunchy, the pieces come in different sizes so some of them are crunchier than others. Next time let us know that you want them softer. Apparently, this lady lacks the bare minimum of customer service skills. She kept replying to my comments as if I was the one to blame! Not the chef or herself. She didnt apologize. And before that she was unable to see that the dish was missing the balsamic dressing. Im giving 2 stars mainly because the waiter was trying his best to address my concerns, which deserves recognition. And I wish he sees my feedback. Thanks to him. Obviously, I dont recommend this place. And there wont be anotber time to try the softer home fries :)
Stuck out of town with hours to kill and found The Homeway for some amazing brunch. Eggs Benny was spot on! Eggs cooked perfectly to my request. My husband had the Western Omelet and was very pleased as well. The fresh blueberry banana and orange juice was icing on the cake. Great little place and highly recommend!
Wonderful staff! Great food and atmosphere. Really well priced wine if you re looking to catch-up with friends without crushing your bank.
My first visit and certainly not my last! I had eggs Benny that was delish!! The peameal bacon was so tender, the home fries crispy, just the way I like them, and the sauce was yummy. Enjoyed my cappuccino rather than regular coffee. The service was awesome, and would definitely recommend it. My only regret is that I hadnt found this local gem sooner.
Great breakfast today!! Great burger yesterday! Love this place!!
Was good and service was good
Love this place! Servers are friendly and the hollandaise is delicious. My go to in the neighborhood for brunch Dietary restrictions: Accommodating for gluten free
Good food, but it feels like you re always being rushed because it is so busy
Very, very good food, cheerful service reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
Lovely little brunch place.
Everything was amazing
Yummy food and wholesome atmosphere.
A bit dirty but the food was decent
New to the area and found this place from a local flyer. Great breakfast and friendly staff. The eggs Benedict - my favourite!
We have been going to The Homeway for years now. Very family friendly. Food selection is ample and the portions are generous, fresh and delicious. Lots of sides to choose from. Great fresh fruit. Limitless coffee.
Exceptionally delicious food.
Cozy, good food, courteous servers, nice windows to the streets on two side
I used to be a frequent visitor to the place and liked their food. I queued up today through their online tool and came physically in, when they said that it s going to be another 10-15 min. I then exited and shortly got a message: your table is about to be next . Very blurry wording, but that s ok. I started making my way towards the place, and when I was 1 minute away, they send me a message: we removed you from the waitlist . I call them immediately, saying I m next door, and the only thing they tell me: you can the waitlist again . What?! Thank you, but no thank you. I ve been on that list for an hour by then, and for 1 min delay you send me back to the end of the queue???? Very weird way of keeping permanent customers and definitely doesn t work for me good luck !
had the pleasure of dealing with Chris this morning. I called the restaurant to make a last minute change on my Skip Order he confirmed my order and made the last minute changes. Thank you Chris!!
Surprisingly, the restaurant has a 76-year history, providing a classic breakfast experience. The confident waiter and half-open kitchen offer a transparent glimpse into the culinary process. The traditional menus simplicity and quality ingredients make dining here an authentic and delightful choice. I look forward to my next visit to try more dishes.
Food is yummy and friendly services!
I miss getting the delicious eggs benny here on weekends, so good!
It s a nice a place. The service is great and everyone is amazing. The pancakes were good, with a strong taste of cinnamon. The french toasts aren t the best. But in general the food was good. There isn t a parking nearby so you ll need to find a parking spot on the street.
This place has great french toast and peameal bacon! The food was nice and fresh, the service was attentive and friendly, and the environment was lively and warm. Try to join the waitlist 10-20mins before you arrive so you don t have to wait too long - it definitely gets busy on weekends.
I love this place , food is amazing and service is amazing.
Lovely spot, yummy and good portions, decent prices, definitely busier on weekends and can take up to an hour to get a seat, especially with a group of 4+ took 10 or so minutes after we got a text that wed have a table. Worth the wait. If youre single or just two people, wait is not long.
Good place to eat a meal.
Good beans Parking: There is parking on the street beside the restaurant
It remains offering one of the best brunchs in town.
Great place. The Eggs Benedict are the stars of the show. The French toasts can benefit from either a thinner slice or more egg, but thats just a personal preference. Two thumbs up for everything else.
Finally found a great breakfast place in the area!!! The food and service is wonderful! We got the Huevos Benny and Challah French Toast, both were delicious!!! Even the coffee was top notch! Highly recommend.
Amazing brunch, great service, and reasonable pricing.
They are a standard brunch location. Nothing extraordinary about this place. I was satisfied with the food in general and dont know if I want to add details to this. I am a big brunch person and it takes a lot to make me brag about your food. Haha ! Let the photos speak for themselves
My favorite branch place offering variety of food and drinks. Been going there since 2018 and it s on my top list of Toronto cafes.
I ve gone here many times and the service after covid has become the absolute worst. The quality of food is disgraceful for the amount they charge while they ignore you the entire time. Please hire more staff or reducing your seating choices as everyone was disappointed in the service.
Had a great brunch experience! Staff was very friendly, eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly, and the atmosphere was enjoyable! Would definitely recommend stopping by.
Amazing service, delicious food.
Went here 4 years ago and didn t love it. Went back today and it has really really improved. The pancakes were amazing, as well as the typical egg breakfast. Will be coming back more often now 100%!
Cozy, amazing food. Love to go there for brunch. Service is great.
Thought of going to this place as it has a lot of good reviews but had the most terrible experience. The most horrible place that you can get your brunch at. Service is mediocre. The food is the worst of all, utterly unflavorful with no seasoning. The entire meal was devoid of salt, even the French fries. They even ruined the toast, which should be the easiest to make. I wanted to enjoy brunch with my hubby after a very bad week but the place turned out to be even worse. I would not recommend going to this place.
Greatbreakfast place. It hits the sweet spot for me - a few notches above the typical diner breakfast, but doesn t try to be one of those frou-frou brunch spots. Just good solid food and service. There is a reason it s been open for 75 years!
We enjoyed our brunch today- the Greek omelete n pancakes were delicious
Milkshake and brunch options are amazing
We had a great brunch experience. Chris at the front was courteous and stickhandled patrons with much professionalism, which can be challenging when dealing with hungry patrons, who have been waiting in the rain for a table. The front section is small, but the back dining area is bright at airy. Unfortunately, it was raining so there was no patio service. The food was great, the service was great, and even though it is a small place, and there is often have a line up on the weekends, the staff dont make you feel rushed and seem to be happy that you are there. Lots of food and drink options. A neighbourhood gem.
Great food with even better servers. Dietary restrictions: Accommodations made for gluten free allergy. Food : 5/5 |
Great great food and service
The food was yummy and exactly what you want from a breakfast joint. The service was prompt and charming. The drip coffee was soooooo yummy! I found the prices to slightly inflated, but it appears as though some of that money goes into the quality of ingredients. The decor is dated and somewhat bland. The bathrooms uncomfortable and dingy. We will definitely return, but will certainly avoid using the facilities!
Food was great, everything was well seasoned. Good portion sizes, and everything was made with care. Eggs were perfectly cooked just the way you ask them. And the service was great, always respectful and helpful while not overbearing. I would definitely come back and recommend. Wasnt too busy either on a Saturday! Kid-friendliness: High chair available Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs! Street access! Patio!
Nice brunch place! No waiting line even on the weekends, staff and services were nice :) There are a lot of sitting places (inside and outside patio), good for summer bunch place! 100% recommend
The food was good but the coffee was not
Just ate at this place and the food was very tasty but immediately after I left I start having terribly bad stomach pains and diarrhea WONT BE BACK
Very nice place. good food. Summertime sitting outside on the patio is the best !
Very good brunch spot on the patio. Had the eggs Benny, they were good but not excellent. I had asked for soft poached but got almost hard poached. The hollandaise was very good. The service was good. We were there at the end of the rush service could have been a bit faster. Nice neighborhood spot.
Best breakfast in the neighborhood, maybe in the city
Excellent spot for fabulous breakie. Side of pork sausage...
I had the veggie omelette, wife had the eggs Benedict. Food was bland, best part.of the dish was the home fries.
Food is plain and tasteless, asparagus omelet only had 4 asparagus Coffee tastes like water, service is extremely slow, lots of annoying flies flying around. Haven t been to a place as bad for a while..
Food was devine, everything was well seasoned. Good portion sizes, and everything was made with care. Eggs were perfectly cooked just the way you ask them. And the service was great, always respectful and helpful while not overbearing. Highly recommended !
They make a great breakfast with amazing homemade turkey and pork sausages. The pork sausages are better than the turkey. They do make a truly excellent eggs benedict here. The hollandaise is bright and flavourful.
I always love brunch at the Homeway, it has a cozy, comfortable vibe, the food is great too! Weve brought our kids and friends to this place and it doesnt disappoint.
I would strongly advise against visiting this place and strongly discourage bringing children along. The atmosphere is incredibly unfriendly, and the staff is disgusting. To make matters worse, there was even a discovery of eggshell in my plate, which was quite unpleasant.
Parma eggs Benny is great. Really good home fries as well.
I also would strongly advise against this place, its not clean. its not professionally operated, that is apparent on many levels. The food was cold and I think, left over, ie not freshly prepared to my order. Ive gone a few times over the last couple of years, whilst it was getting worse, it was convenient, but now I would not go back and feel I have to write this review to alert others
Love the food and the service
My favourite brunch spot in the area. The patio is great (yes there are bugs, it IS outside after all) and the staff are welcoming and approachable. Food is always A+!!
First time we went to this place, really loved it, everything was delicious and generous and worth it ! The place isn t as fancy as others I did, but the food is the most important, we will definitely go here again Food
Good portions, good quality food, good seasoning, good service!
I would not recommend this place. We waited over 45 minutes to be seated. A few others who got there AFTER us, were seated immediately, simply because they were regulars . There were also a sense of discrimination and racism Now as for the food, please see pictures no comment. Cold. And for a brunch focus restaurant how can you mess up EGG? We shared our concern and our waiter discounted 1 of our drinks .
A very, very, very long time to wait.
Came here for brunch and brought my family who was visiting Toronto from overseas. food is delicious. However, the server (girl with eyeglass) was SUPER irritated when we paid and did not give the tips she expected. She told us is a rude manner tips are not included btw then turned around while shaking her head and threw Pos machine on the counter. Maybe she thought we didn t see her but we did. That was super rude and ruined the atmosphere. Maybe she forgot that tips are NOT mandatory and you have to deserve it. We ended up handing her $5 in coins because of her unnecessary and exaggerated reaction. Honestly the service was not exceptional as she got all confused when giving us the plates. Will not return.
Homeway is a fabulous spot for great food, with a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for for brunch dates, Magda and Chris are particularly attentive, and provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
The Eggs Benedict are absolutely PERFECT
I recently visited this cozy and beautiful brunch place nestled in the charming Mount Pleasant neighborhood with a friend. It was our first time there, and we were excited to try out the offerings. I opted for a tea, but to my disappointment, there was some residue around the cup. I brushed it off, assuming its a common mishap that can occur with dishwashers. Moving on, I decided to order eggs and a bagel with home fries. Unfortunately, the home fries were overcooked and deep fried and seemed quite old. Even more disheartening was the discovery of mold on my bagel. I promptly brought this to the attention of the waiter, who showed it to a waitress. We overheard their conversation, where the waitress initially denied the issue but eventually acknowledged it after the waiters insistence. Throughout this ordeal, there was a lack of acknowledgment of our discomfort. The handling of the situation could have been more graceful. Ultimately, given the subpar food quality and the unimpressive response to the mold situation, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this place to others. Its a shame, as the cozy ambiance and lovely location had initially promised a delightful experience
Love how homey this place is. Very much a icon of the neighborhood.
Memorable breakfast, thanks for the excellent service and good quality food and attention. Kid-friendliness: Excellent menu options.
One of these homely decorated places, which seems to work for it. The staff were great for a Saturday morning, which I assume is probably their busiest time. While it was a little pricey for breakfast, it was great. I will be going back to try more stuff from the menu.
Grea dish quality with reasonable pricing and perfect customer service. Hope they could accept reservations Food
Our family of 5 (2 adults + 3 teenagers) loved this little place. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We wanted to eat outsider but the bees were invading their patio so we ate inside. Its a small place, so tables are very close together and it was really warm inside. The food was amazing and the service was also great. I would definitely eat there again
great brunch place!
Had the florentine eggs Benedict with baked beans. Nothing, I mean, nothing had any salt or flavour to it. The beans were watery. The most disgusting and bland meal of my life. Have your breakfast anywhere else but here.
Our go-to breakfast/ brunch place. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, very friendly and accommodating staff. We love their home fries, which are crisp and flavourful but not greasy. And their breakfast items always come with some fresh fruit. Vegetarian options: Many of the items on the menu are meatless, which is important to us. However, vegans would probably not find much to eat here other than fruit. Dietary restrictions: They provide milk alternatives and gluten-free dishes. In addition, they will alter the ingredients in dishes to allow for dietary concerns. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and provide paper, crayons, and high chairs.
The food was okay, but there were flies buzzing around, and I had to keep swatting them away. So many flies I wish they were slow enough for me to take a picture. I ve attached a photo of their smoke detectors which you can see all the flies dropping on it.
Great breakfast spot! Food is delicious and the coffee was Strong! Def try the Huevos Beny
Everything was perfect, enjoyed the atmosphere and the tasty breakfast menu. Parking: Free parking at side of the road and paid parking on the main road Food : 5/5 |
Delicious brunch! I had the Huevos Benedict with home fries and side beans. Looking forward to trying everything else there too! Great customer service and menu options!
Made me wait 30 minutes then gave the table away
Their eggs Benedict are to die for! Order the Parma Perfection and you won t be sorry!
Soldi food, busy place, all around 4 star and mid
Excellent breakfast place.
So far the best egg benedict I tried in Toronto, the service is great, the location, and the prices. I really enjoy to go there anytime for brunch!
A friendly neighborhood breakfast place
their food was so delicious! and servers also were nice! It looks so yummy so I forgot to take a picture at first lol
Its a good breakfast spot. The only meal Ive had there. The one thing they could improve would be to provide sour cream as an option for the home fries, and other things.
I love this place a lot. It can be a bit of a wait on weekends but its worth it! The food is fresh and fantastic . The staff are always so pleasant. Great coffee and hot sauces too!
Excellent attention. Exquisite foods. I will return with great pleasure
Haven t been back to this restaurant in years! Decided to go back. Tried the Huevos Benedict. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! All of the ingredients were so fresh, I loved every bite. The chefs that served this food should be proud. Service was so friendly and welcoming in a homely way. I really enjoyed and can t wait to come back for the French toast, it looked so good! Great Job Homeway!
Terrific. This cozy breakfast/brunch eatery is perfect for a weekend meetup with friends. All the right foods prepared well and served up with a smile. Price is right too. Plus theres a sun drenched patio to sit back and sip your fresh dark roast on.
Quality service during a busy weekend brunch. We were a walk-in party of 3 and were immediately seated. But will definitely get reservations next time cuz they get so busy. Only complaint is how close our table was to another as I felt like they were close enough to hear every detail of my conversations. The food was very delicious though the home fries are a bit more on the burnt side.
Great meals as always. Came from oshawa just for their hollandaise
We went here for Sunday brunch. The yolk on our eggs benedict was over cooked and when we informed the waiter, all we got was 2 poached eggs as a replacement. They did not put any effort to transfer the hollandaise sauce and toppings from the overcooked egg to the poached egg. We ordered eggs benedict, not English muffin with a side of poached eggs. We also ordered steak and eggs with toast. They served the plate with the steak placed directly OVER top of the toast. As a result, the toast had an unpleasant animal grease taste to it. Did not go well with the jam at all. The sausage Pattie s side we ordered was dry and mushy, which we also did not enjoy. On the positive side, the coffee was great. The steak was fair. And the home fries were good. Overall it was still a very disappointing experience. Would not come back again.
Delicious comfort food with generous portions!
Dine in was great, clearly a popular spot, and great food! Bit hot inside, but it is the height of summer after all. Only real negative: the bus boys non-communicado - they dont talk at all or answer questions, so you have to rely on the very capable waitresses alone. Otherwise pretty fantastic, pretty sure our server was Magda, top form!!
Amazing breakfast. Yum! Your average great breakfast. Simple and hits the spot! The actual location could be cleaner, cups were dirty and table wasn t cleaned before seating us. Overall good experience. Wait times also moved really quickly!
Lovely place, filled with even lovelier staff. Very homie vibes, food is good with comes fast and tastes great too!
I cant believe we didnt try this out sooner with it being just down the road! A great simple breakfast with good service.
The food is very delicious. Service is great too. They have a bookshelf which contains books for kids. This is very thoughtful, because my kids can enjoy reading while my husband and I can enjoy our meal! It s a very family friendly restaurant!
Pleasant staff and the food was standard issue for breakfast. The minus one star is due to the pork beans. To me they were extremely salty and lacked any salvageable flavor. I would of been fine with the classic maple beans.
Perfect portion! Friendly staff!
What has happened to Homeway? This used to be my favorite spot to meet friends but my last many visits have been unsatisfactory. I normally order pancakes. The last 3 times they have come burnt and I returned them. Today I ordered eggs, bacon and toast The eggs were cold and two of us discovered mold on our toast. The man at the table beside us was complaining of uncooked pancakes That is my last visit to this restaurant.
amazing fresh food, great servers and outdoor patio was clean and nice
Fantastic little eatery, good sized patio, delicious food, and great service. Kudos to Jessica and the team.
Food was sent so poorly packed everything was everywhere. For how much you pay you would think the rest would pack things properly.
Amazing!!!! Would give it more stars if I could. I had the Parma Perfection and it definitely lived up to the name. Eggs Benny with prosciutto, grilled vine ripened tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic reduction for just $16. It was sublime. 100% recommended.
Service was great but the food was terrible. Toast was not toasted. Basically warm bread but not the fresh baked kind. French toast was too thick and not soaked in the egg mixture long enough. Ended up being chewy bread with egg bits. The maple syrup was a nice touch, however, it wasnt a lot or high quality syrup, so it merely made the French toast palatable. For a place with so many good ratings, reviews and how busy it was, my expectations were high. All in all I would not recommend this place for brunch. Better to go to Coras or Sunset Grill for a mediocre brunch at a cheaper price.
The worst eggs Bennie I have ever had. Where to start soggy not toasted English muffin, eggs they suggested to be cooked medium were both hard really hard and the hollandaise sauce is not real hollandaise it was mayo like. They have nice servers but my partners meal was also terrible, and nice people can t make up for bad food.
Be Warned. A brunch place on Mount Pleasant road which operates from 11 am to 3 pm. A place where at 3 the entire staff sits together and eats their meal together. The moment I walked in to this delightful eatery I was assailed by the aroma and I could not stop remarking that the place smells so wonderful. Their service is simply great and the food remarkable. Loved their coffee too. Breakfast will never be the same again. Someway, you have a fan and a dedicated customer. (Oh its quite easy on the wallet too)
Excellent food and even better customer service! Really good place for family brunch, and amazing prices.
Quite nice spot for week-end brunch, ordered their basic breakfast with homemade pork sausages, quite average though, coffe latte likewise, nothing bad but also nothing particularly good. The washroom is however super disgusting lol.
I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars. Ordered the a brunch from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Everything looked and tasted awful. The sweet potato fries completely are burnt and not edible at all. Worst brunch ever. Do not order from them...!!!
food was delicious and reasonably priced by Toronto standards. portions are ENORMOUS. patio was lovely, although populated by friendly wasps who swooped in for leftovers. service was excellent. would definitely return!
Delicious brunch with refil coffee. The amount of food is shareable with 2. I loved the homemade fries and the pancake with maple syrup. The sausage patties were a little bit too dry but their taste was great.
Cute neighborhood spot.
Visiting second time! I like food here! And staffs are very nice and kind!
Absolutely incredible eggs benny! I had parma perfection and it lived up to its name. The beans and home fries are both good options. Great menu options and prices. Nice place to enjoy breakfast or brunch!
Nice and quiet, small run business. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was fairly priced for value and quality. Really tasty. We each ordered our own breakfast plate, and a full order of pancakes to share. It was all great!
Used to come here all the time but I believe ownership changed over the years. This visit had to wait 20 mins to order with 1 waitress working and 2 other random people walking around. Once food came, one benny had salad dressing soaked into the english muffin and the other had tough and barely edible pulled pork which was just day old pork sliced thin and put on the grill. Potatoes were burnt and coffee refilled twice and only lukewarm. Giving a 2 star because the waitress was nice when she was able to stop by the table.
Amazing breakfast!! Great quality for an even better price! The bacon was thick cut and perfectly crispy. The eggs Benedict were perfectly poached and sauce was not too heavy. Very excited to come back!
Excellent breakfast\brunch.
Went to this cute local spot in the spring. The food was delicious- lots of selection and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Great local spot!
excellent
No where else in the city can make our mornings happier. Very welcoming with great food.
