Great place with a wonderful service and overall atmosphere Great female server Food was not really up to taste, brisket was surgery and no taste, this ruined our night as no one likes it at all Place is very pricy as well

Got there at about 6pm, took about 16 mins for 3 poutines to come out and when they did, it was absolutely horrible. The gravy tasted sour and almost like soy sauce, the fries werent cooked well, the cheese was minimal and very bad, and over all a horrible dish. Then we all went and got the 12 hour smoked brisket. We waited abt 30-40 mins for it and let me tell you, i ve never felt more scammed. The price is not reasonable at all considering the taste of the brisket, seasoning, the sweet bread was horrible, the potato s were the only food on that platter that I could eat without being mad, or making a face. Overall horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone likes good food.

Went there with 10 people. Great venue. Good service. Yet everyone agreed that it was sadly terrible food across a bunch of dishes we ordered.

Had team lunch here earlier today After getting home I had symptoms of both vomiting and diarrhea one of my colleague shared the same experience I ordered Thai curry and she ordered fish&chips though the place looks nice and has good view, I won t go again

We had an excellent experience last week at The Amsterdam Brewhouse. Special thanks to our AMAZING server Michael for providing such an outstanding experience for our group.

Food is awful, I ordered a burger and the meet looked black and the onion crust that was on top of it was so hard you could not eat it. The waiter just automatically added 18% without asking before handing over the machine. The only thing that is good about this place is atmosphere and the drinks. The food is absolutely garbage.

We came here for lunch with coworkers on a very cold Friday. Atmosphere was amazing, along with the views of the lake coupled with the warmth of the fireplace. Out of the 8 of us we all enjoyed our food. We had the spinach dip, fish tacos, pizza, brisket sandwich, thai curry dish, churros to name a few - all were amazing! This place beat expectations at every level. In addition our server was attentive and we never lacked anything.

The Buffalo cauliflowers are heavenly. And they had a 0% Czech beer called faxe that was great.

Dani was the best waitress Ive ever had. She went above and beyond on everything. I highly recommend coming in. The food was delicious and the beer was ice cold.

We had a great time at the brewery. Good food, especially the gluten free fried chicken which was an unexpected treat! Our server was very nice, and we enjoyed the live music during lunch. The views of the harbor were nice. Great spot overall! Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options including fried chicken!!!

We stayed at the Raddison Blu & having this restaurant right next to it was a huge perk. I think we were here everyday of our trip. We love the wings, pizza and mocktails. The service wasn t too great but I think they are just under staffed a bit at night so wasn t a huge problem.

What a beautiful place on the water to enjoy delicious beer and food. They didnt push you out quick, it was nice to enjoy the day and the scenery. Highly recommend.

We ordered 3 dishes however, only mac and cheese was fair at best, the rest of the food was utterly tasteless. Our waiter, also served us horribly with a grumpy looks on his face. Frankly an awful experience from the food and service side. The only exceptional part of this was the atmosphere, but it did not make up for the disappointing experience we received. This was my 3rd and last time here

Spot on - can t fault it. Loved hanging out here for both beer and food. All beer is brewed on site and all food freshly made on site. The kids were made to feel really welcome and loved the food they had! If we are ever visiting Toronto again we will be sure to come here! Thanks for such a great experience.

Absolutely love this place! Highly recommended to go with a group of friends. Enjoy the drinks, food and the seaside + CN tower view in the summers of ou choose to sit outdoors. This place always has a long waiting outside. You have to go early. The food is delicious with a good portion size. The staff is great with amazing service they provide. You can spend hours and hours there cause of the vibe with your drinks and food. Highly recommend to atleast visit once!

I had an amazing time at the Amsterdam Brewery! The atmosphere was fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that really added to the overall charm. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was great, but the standout for me was their incredible selection of beers. I tried the amber beer, and it was absolutely delicious. Whether youre a beer lover or just looking for a great place to unwind, this brewery is definitely worth checking out!

Overall, the food is average, but there are a variety of draft beers, and the fact that you can eat while looking at the harbor is a big advantage.

Shame because beer is awesome and vibe is great, but food was really not good. I dont consider myself super picky, but the fried chicken sandwich was really overcooked and was like trying to eat a baseball glove. The sushi bowl smelled like dog food. I wish I was exaggerating, but Ive never smelt a dish like that before and the fish was muddy. I wont be back because of the food.

Go for the amazing view and make sure you drink enough before tasting your food, or just don t order food

Great spot! We tried the pale ale, stout, and a flight all very good beers. Ordered calamari and fries with garlic spicy sauce, and they were delicious. It s a classic pub with beautiful views, perfect for a family outing.

I ordered the Lemon Chicken Schnitzel and was so impressed by how delicous it was. I would recommend it to everyone!! The beer was very refreshing as well.

The atmosphere is amazing but we felt the food didnt quite hit the mark. Two people at the table had the brisket sandwich which they enjoyed but felt the ciabatta bun took away from the flavours and just made it taste a bit too heavy with bread. I had the chicken schnitzel which was a bit disappointing. It just seemed to lack in overall flavour. I have had it previously and really enjoyed it but I think they have changed the recipe and I didnt love it. Another person had the brisket dinner which was a huge serving and she quite enjoyed it. The desserts were really nice and they comped one as we were celebrating a birthday. The beers were tasty and service was good. Overall, a nice night out but room for improvement with the food.

What a beautiful spot! Beer is delicious, and the food was equally fantastic! I tried their new sushi bowl and was very pleasantly surprised by how perfect it is (wasabi peas were a game changer). Our server Michael really made the experience top notch for us!

The schnitzel was really good. Not all the foods are great but the service has been really good every time I ve been there. Atmosphere is also very cool!

Greg made the experience for us amazing! From the moment we sat down, he charmed us with his awesome attitude and great knowledge of the menu. He defiantly made the evening lots of fun and we would fly back from Edmonton just to have him as our server again! Can t say enough great things.

Yesterday night I went out for dinner and had a lovely time. Even though, because of the Taylor Swift concert, the place was packed, the waiter kept letting us know he was coming our way or asking if we were doing okay. However, last night I was not feeling well (food poisoning?). After a rough night I called the restaurant to let them know they maybe have to check their sausages. The guy on the phone was getting the manager, but I got hung up, twice. I think the restaurant is amazing, but if your service on the phone is like this, I do not know what to think anymore.

To a great manager from few years back: My daughter and I came in on a stormy winter evening looking for a table, it was a weekend too. AB is a fancy place at times, and we came in soaking after few hours of skating on an ice rink near by. The place was super busy, and we were left contemplating to stay or leave. When all of a sudden someone on staff overhead we just wanted two cups of hot chocolate. He whisked us to a great table, was super kind, and the whole team made sure we had a great time, and probably one of the best hot chocolate experiences of our lives. I don t have a photo of the night, but it was magical. Thank you and I wish the man and his team continue thriving wherever they are. I hope this message finds you well. Overall a great place for lunch and dinner, with tasty food, great views, wonderful atmosphere.

Fun place with good beers and food

Overall, this place has a great atmosphere if you come for the vibes and just drinks. Unfortunately, the food was not a hit amongst our group with the exception of the spinach and artichoke dip. The tuna poke bowl was low quality and the brisket mac and cheese was relatively bland and we expected more for the price.

Staff are so nice. Loved the fish and chips. Michael was a wonderful server for us. We enjoyed our lunch very much!

The female host at the desk from the front side entrance of the venue was absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful. I am putting this review because there is a lot of racism at the place. I will be taking this to senior management and corporate. Me and two of my friends went to ask if we can get a table but the host at the venue rolled her eyes and this welcome was disgusting. I asked her if I offended her, but she rolled her eyes again. We can not have ungrateful people working at the door. This was race based and I will taking this matter seriously because this has to stop. We visited on September 23rd 2024 at around 9:30ish or 10ish pm. When I asked her, if I can speak to the floor manager, that s the only moment she said, yea offcourse. This fearless and self entitled attitude should be stopped and these kind should be fired.

Avoid doing the same mistake I made I wanted a salad so I ordered the south west chicken bowl . Thinking it was going to be a south west chicken salad . Complete opposite it was a burrito bowl 75% - rice 5%- chicken 5% -guacamole and toppings 15% salad This food item is a scam it s under the fresh greens Column with other salads not to mention it was $22 waitress was nice brought me a bowl of extra greens but still get this item out of the salad section because it s a bunch of rice! There s several reviews of people falling for this It was a mistake I made it does say rice under the ingredients but this should not be under fresh greens since it s a burrito bowl .

I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could and would absolutely 0% recommend service by somebody named Vic. My boyfriend and I dined here on our vacation in August, Vic seemed nice at first, however upon being asked questions about the menu he could not answer any of our questions and needed to defer to other people around the restaurant for help. He also told us incorrect things about a dish, and ingredients in the dish were not listed in the menu, one to which I am not supposed to be eating for health reasons. When I received that dish, i was waiting for him to come check on us so we could tell him what was wrong, however we waited 20 minutes for him to come over while they was checking tables all around us and seemed to be ignoring us. When he finally came over and I voiced my concerns, he asked me I wanted to speak to a manager, which I wasn t going to initially, but due to his rude tone and snarkiness, I said yes. The manager was nice enough, took the item off our bill no problem. When Vic came back with the bill, he threw it at me and slammed the machine on the table, pressing the no tip option himself, i had never planned to not tip him, and left a cash tip. He grabbed the receipt off the table to which I asked for it back and he threw it back at me and walked away. I was flabbergasted by the disrespect but we were going to finish our drinks and be on our way. However, from across the restaurant I could hear Vic complaining to his coworkers about how we were such horrible customers and we only left him 7$ , (on a 60$ bill after atrocious service). His complaints were loud enough for us to hear across the restaurant And on our way out, we approached the manager, telling her how we heard him talking about us across the restaurant, and she basically just laughed and apologized and turned around. Absolutely disgusted with our service at this place and we don t live in Toronto and we ll probably never frequent this place again, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend to Anyone ever. The food and service we got the entire time we were in ontario.

Our waiter Michael was over the top in the best way, he read our table so well and catered to our high energy. What a Joy...I live in the neighborhood and will definitely be back. Hoping Michael is working...will ask for him. Food always good too.

Michael truly went above and beyond. He had the entire outside area on lock, and was so kind and genuine with every single guest. Cannot recommend him enough if you end up at Amsterdam Brewhouse! Make sure to sit outside if you can when you go, the view itself is more than worth the price of a drink or meal. Cant miss restaurant when you visit Toronto!

Had Evan as our server and his service was very attentive. Evan made the experience go smoothly and enjoyable. He made sure all our needs were met and that we had everything we wanted. The experience would me want to return again.

Uncooked food , crappy service and tasteless beer

My wife threw me a surprise birthday party at Amsterdam, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Our servers (Aidan and Maddy) were just the kindest human beings in the world. Cant wait to go back.

The ambiance was super relaxing. I came here alone from California and enjoyed a sunset drink while ordering the pretzel and the Korean BBQ calamari. The most amazing thing about it was Michael B.s service. Despite my distraction from the view, and was unable to follow his ordering instructions LOL. SO SIMPLE BUT I WAS VERY DISTRACTED. He was very attentive and ensured that I had food and drinks to enjoy. He payed attention to my allergies and was quick with getting my request. If you have him as a server, youre lucky.

Went for a bite and a pint before a Jays game. Food and atmosphere was fantastic, but even better was our Server Jose, He was quick and witty and very enjoyable to deal with. Thanks to the Amsterdam and keep up the great service Jose! Cheers

CLINT (server) was amazing!!!! Very attentive and helpful. The food was as expected for a brew house. The pretzel was a bit steep in price unfortunately. Only Philly can do it right. I came for the flights and they were pretty tasty! The neon haze was wild visually and in flavor. Definitely stop in. Great views on the 2nd floor in or outside. Parking: Walk

I generally love Amsterdam beer and was excited to visit their brewhouse. I was there on a Thursday slightly before dinner and despite being brought by the hostess to a patio table, it seemed as though nobody knew we were there. It was not busy at all, and it took a good 15 minutes to even get acknowledged. If the place was packed it would be understandable but it was not the case and several waiters walked by us many times until one eventually stopped. We tried to order the Oktoberfest 4 beers flight for which we were given a menu, unfortunately only one beer was available. Perhaps not offering the menu would make more sense. When trying to order off of the regular menu, two more beers were out. I wish they would let us know when they sit us, or maybe print a sheet menu of the available beers when so many are out.

What a great day to be on the patio at this place! Great beer and great food while looking out on to the water. From Fish and chips to the burgers all were great tasting. A must visit and highly recommended. Vegetarian options: There is a vegan burger and options to make the Thai curry vegetarian with tofu.

Great staff, good food. I ordered the chicken curry Thai, it was delicious and quite a lot of food. The pizza was also delicious. I dont drink beer, cant t say much about that. We went around 4 pm and got seated right away. When we left the line up was our the door and down Abit. The staff are great! Inside and outside seating. Right on the water. Beautiful.

Fantastic experience. We tried to arrive as early as possible before a hockey game, lo and behold traffic was expectedly a nightmare so we were somewhat pressed for time. I had made a reservation but was far too late for it. When we turned around the bend and saw a considerable line, I became worried we would not make it in time for the game. However, the line seemed to be moving quite well so we stuck it out - and I m very glad that we did. Once we got our names in, it was almost maybe only a 20 minute wait before we had a table. It shocked me how quickly the line moved both ahead of us and behind us, and I guess after the pre-game rush the line had completely dissipated; very impressive by the staff and hostesses. The building itself is perfectly decorated and appropriately themed. Beautiful architecture and finishes throughout, with transparency into the brewery tanks/system. The waterfront location is idyllic, and certainly on a warmer summer day the patio would be the place to be. The food, just like the line, came surprisingly quick, and I was again quite shocked given how busy it was. The burger was good, fries were crispy and pub style (but could use salt & vinegar), the spinach dip was decent with good bread, and my mac and cheese was phenomenal. A perfect blend of cheesy and smokey flavour from the brisket, and just the right balance of both. Portions of everything were good as well with prices that don t bankrupt you. Friendly and attentive waitress and staff throughout. 100% satisfied and exceeded expectations, especially on a busy evening. Would definitely recommend and come again when in the area.

We got served by Mili and she is the sweetest person we all met. Great service and great vibe at the brewhouse. We were able to sample different beers and we all enjoyed sitting in the patio. Will be coming back again for sure Vegetarian options: We had vegan burgers which were decent.

FACED RACISM Editing this comment after last night s experience at this place. It was not my first time there and I ve always had the best time and service but I experienced racism yesterday from a bartender. Me and 2 of my girlfriends just wanted to grab a quick beer and some snacking item and we weren t served by the bartender after calling excuse me for like 5 times and we weren t even told that he refuses to serve us. Manager heard our complaint and offered us complimentary fries which was unnecessary but I understand that s all he could do. How I m so sure that it was racism because 30 mins later a white couple sat down next to us and he was way too happy to serve them and carry on a conversation and provide recommendations. We were as well-behaved and well-dressed as any other customer, humbly asked the manager if there is something that we did we can apologise but that was not the case as we didn t get any answer as to what really bothered the bartender. Hope no one else face this situation as it is unacceptable and definitely killed the mood as well as ruined our night.

I went to Amsterdam Brewhouse with a few friends after work. The place was amazing - big, nice music, good ambience and great food. We had great service - our server Jose made great recommendations (Korean fried calamari, lemon chicken schnitzel, buffalo cauliflower). We really look forward to going back!

This continues to be one of my favorite spots in toronto! The waterfront is absolutely beautiful and the food/drinks are always good! My husband is still raving about the burger and blueberry drink he got!

The service by Marcus was bad. He never came back to check on us after someone else brought 2 of the 4 meals. They brought the 3rd dinner out but it was wrong and that server struggled to understand how it could be wrong. He finally came back. I told him I was still waiting for my dinner. Everyone else is done and 15mins later a guy comes with the wrong dinner again!!!!! Seriously!!! 10 mins later finally my dinner. Oh and did I mention it was a sushi bowl!! Cold. No cooking required but still. Absolutely terrible service. Stay far away

Enjoyed a warm Fall by the patio overlooking the lake. Fish n chips are delicious and loaded up with malt vinegar. Everything from the reception to the minute I finish my meal was a wonderful experience. There was a band for October fest. I celebrated BeerFest with margaritas .. loool. Clean washrooms and really a place to celebrate, there s 2 bars and ample of spaces for various needs

Great service from Matt, who was friendly and attentive. We ordered 5 drinks, fish & chips, Korean fried calamari and yam fries. We got about 10 bite-sized pieces of calamari for $24, and half of the yam fries were burnt. We informed our server/the kitchen about the burnt fries. Half our fries were returned to the kitchen with no compensation. Great views, but we would not return.

Used to be a regular here but the quality of food seems to be getting on the lower side during the last few visits.

Even though we had to wait for a long time to get a table (without a reservation for sure), absolutely worth it. A wide menu to choose beers, lager or IPA. The staff was not friendly because of the high demand and low staff number. Great choice for the music, fabulous interior design, and such a nice view.

The brisket sandwich came in a day old hard bun, and there were a few small bite size brisket pieces. It was awful!

I visited this place today with my friends and absolutely loved it. Their patio is stunning. The food was pretty decent and the service was impeccable. Our server Jasmine S. was fabulous and made sure we had an amazing time. Definitely a place we d want to visit again, specially during the summer time.

I had a disappointing experience at Amsterdam Brewery. A staff member was extremely rude and disrespectful when she tried to change our table, even shouting at me in front of others. I spoke to her manager, I hope this issue is addressed to prevent future incidents.

Amsterdam Brewhouse is a must-visit on the Toronto waterfront! The atmosphere is lively, and the views of the water are stunning. A huge shoutout to Sienna, who works there and made our visit truly special by giving us amazing seats with a perfect view. The food and craft beer selection were top-notch, and the staffs attention to detail made the entire experience unforgettable. Siennas warm hospitality and attentiveness added a personal touch that really elevated our time at the Brewhouse. If youre in Toronto, dont miss out on this gem. We ll definitely be back, thanks to the incredible service and great vibes!

Its not often Im disappointed with a meal to the point where I barely finish it - barely because I was being polite, more-so it was a sunken cost fallacy. Ill be scathing but honest, and Ill share why based totally on my experiences with food lately. The brisket sandwich might have been one of the worst sandwiches Ive ever had and probably would have fit better on the menu at McDonalds, because lets not kid ourselves here; this style of Canadian pub food is indeed fast food. With an environment and tip requests. It was so completely soaked with fryer grease when it arrived that the bottom bun was dissolved and the whole sandwich left a square of yellow oil on the plate, this was because for some reason deep fried onions were chosen as a topping, but when things are rushed (and they are not fresh) they are a chewy oily, flavourless mess. The brisket itself was also old and dry, with very little flavour, and the star of the show was lost in a sea of giant, soggy, store-bought ciabatta bun. The bun of that size and density is such a poor choice for brisket, it just hides the brisket. I am a human garbage disposal and couldnt finish it, thats saying a lot. With tax and tips this is over $25 and not worth it. I just spent half a year in Europe where the emphasis is placed on the meal instead of the shiny restaurant and unnecessary service. So far my experiences in Toronto have been mostly miss. The food is more expensive, and the quality is much less. Its really unfortunate. Side note the only choice of a non-alcoholic beer at a brewery is a Faxe?

Pub food is tasty. Extra charge for a cup of salad instead of fries is pricy. The manager took it off the bill. The chips with the Spinach Dip are hard enough to break my front tooth.

Located on the waterfront, therefore nice views. Beers based on European tastes, especially Holland & Bavaria / Germany. Plus various IPAs. The wings were delicious too!

Excellent. The food and service were great. Very reasonably priced. The kids menu was very high quality and delicious. Today was amazing because we got to see the CNE airshow from our table.

For 4 years in Canada I almost forgot what a high cousin is. But the 2022 experience turned over my rating for this place. Such attention to details, siding, flavors. My biggest complaint to Amsterdam was about their small portions, I always had to buy 2 or 3 dishes to get full, each $25 on average, not fair. But last year they changed, that caused me to change my rating up to 5. In summer it is usually a very busy place, service quality is getting down, waiting time is up, there is a long line to get in... Beers are always great. We buy their beer cans in Loblaws as well. My favorites are 3-speed and space invader. Once we were lucky to take the best seat at the lake view patio. This is the closest place to our home, so we visit it every month.

I could have rated this lovely Brewhouse 4 . However, my first point of interaction was with the hostess on Wednesday at around 5-6pm who made faces when my friend (a visitor of mine whom I brought here) mistakenly said for 7 people, which we immediately corrected 8 people. That s when she made her first face. Second, when her coworker finally got us a table, it was a table for 6. And we said we are a group of 8 (the 2nd time we said 8 people). This was her second (multiple making faces) way of humiliating us. It was my friend s family first time in DT, and this is where I brought them because eof the ambience. I feel so ashamed. And you should too. All the other staff are magnificent, especially our server Bianca and the other guy who very kindly took a photo of us. In a customer service-oriented world, this lady does not pass my standards. There is no place for rude people like you. Hence, dragging the whole review down to 0 , if it is even possible.

Tell to your waitresses to give the change exactly even the 1 cent and then the customer will decide about tips. They gave me 25 cents less and of course I left without giving any tips. Plus the waitress bothered cause I asked her if I can change table sit to the shade table. OK, I thought the sun wasnt a problem at the beginning but soon been very hot. She had to discuss with the other waitress whos is going to serve me. I had a nice beer and a lovely fish n chips. The girl that hosts the entry is lovely too.

I visited Amsterdam Brewhouse on the last night of my trip to Toronto about a month ago, and it was a fantastic experience! The food and beer were both exceptional, truly highlighting the best of what local cuisine has to offer. The staff was incredibly helpful, going out of their way to find us a great spot with a beautiful view. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch dining and a memorable atmosphere in Toronto!

This place used to be really good but had gone downhill. It s very touristy and the food is not good. Had to send back the lemon chicken schnitzel, it was oily, undercooked and not flattened. The fries and buffalo cauliflower bites were good. The burger patty was over done and the margarita pizza was mediocre. Slushy drinks were good but none of the other drinks were worth it. The only good part of the establishment is the atmosphere, the upstairs dining hall is pretty and the patio is nice as it overlooks the lake. The washrooms were clean. Will not be returning and wouldn t recommend.

Waiting long lines is very usual. Sometimes up to 2hrs. They seem quite understaffed. Atmosphere is great and food is 6/10. Good spot for summer time not completely sure if they re open in the winter time. Again if you like waiting and waiting in line, that s the place for you. Unsure if they take reservations.

My second time at Amsterdam Brewhouse. Food was great, Gabby was attentive, and I would definitely come back.

We will come back, but preferably not Saturday. Its right on the lake. We waited quite a long time until we got a table. Despite many tables being free. Staff was friendly and food came quickly. But it was so loud in the large hall that no conversation was possible. Beer (Blonde) was OK for our European taste.

I had a disappointing experience at Amsterdam Brewery on a Tuesday night when there was virtually no crowd. Despite the emptiness, the service was abysmal. I was left waiting for over 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. The server seemed disinterested and unresponsive, which made the experience even more frustrating. I expected much better service given the lack of patrons. Unfortunately, this visit was a letdown and I wont be returning.

WOW, Im totally impressed. The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. Jose was the best server Ive had in a very long time, youre lucky to have him.

Always a fun spot in a great location, however I feel prices are going up and food quality is going down. The powerhouse bowl was made of 90% raw kale (very bitter). They don t have pizza on the menu anymore but you can still order one and they are tasty. You can t make reservations for the patio and your whole group must be there before they ll seat you, so unfortunately some of our party had to wait a while in line which is located right beside the garbage dump and smells awful.

Our first visit was fantastic great location, delicious food, and host Harpreet made it even better with his prompt service and witty humor. The service from our server, Nicole, was also exceptional.

My daughter was taking me here for my birthday. I have a salt intolerance and contacted the restaurant via their website to ask what they had on their menu with lower salt. Two days later and now response. We went anyway and I really couldnt eat anything. Too bad I didnt know before I went. They say the food is cooked fresh, so why cant they make me something lower in sodium? Dietary restrictions: Not really a thing here

Atmosphere is always great but it seems quality of service has fallen significantly. Took 10 minutes to even ask for drinks, got them quickly and ordered food, then never saw our server again until the bill arrived. No need anything? which we did, because we didnt get cutlery when our food was dropped off by a random staff member. They werent that busy. Beers were tasty and the place is always a nice spot to relax, I just hope if we go back it is a better experience.

My friend and I visited this restaurant a few weeks back, and we had a great experience! We were seated by the water, and the view was stunning. It was clean and the atmosphere was good. Huge shout out to our server Micheal who made our experience TOP notch. He was pleasant, friendly, funny, and he also kept it very real. Its so refreshing to see someone who enjoys the work they do. The dumpsters are right at the entrance. Not hidden well, wide open. They reek and the tables are so close. I came down to sit along the waterfront and instead had to sit near a dumpster. I would rather have had a picnic on the 401. The server with the big quads came out of the kitchen area picking his nose. Yes, we were near the dumpster and right in front of the kitchen door. Maybe drop a couple tables so that you don t have any near the kitchen door and the dumpster. The fact that your entrance runs parallel to the dumpster is gross. I would have waited longer to have not gotten that table. The food was fine, the service was okay. We were served and had no utensils. We had to flag someone down. Just a big let down. It be used to be one of my favourite places to go before a game.

This location and the building are just so perfect. The service was excellent as well. The kalimari appetizer we ordered was the highlight. I would have preferred the brisket sliced and not shredded and the bbq sauce was okay but could have been better. I thought the beer was average. Out of the 8 we tried the boneshaker and raspberry saison were by far the best and the neon haze was decent but no real stand outs. Worth the trip if youre going to a Jays game because of the atmosphere.

Ad usual, a great visit with great food. 10 minute wait out front. Had a lake view from my table. The food pictures should tell you whether it was good or not! But I knocked off 1 star overall because my partners first ordered item was not available and same for me. It was only 530pm and already you run out? There are a lot more people coming in that you have to explain that to. To me its a planning thing. Loved my power bowl.

Talk about a mixed bag... The restaurant itself is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. We sat on the patio that looks out onto the water and enjoyed the sunset with our beer and dinner. It doesnt get much better than that as far as dining atmosphere goes. The interior is nicely done up as well, warm and inviting with lots of seating. We arrived just after a jays game yet only had to wait in line for a table for about 5 minutes. I was shocked how efficiently they were seating people but the size of the place I think helps. Because of the layout to accommodate their retail store though, the dumpsters are right beside where you line up to get in. This is also where the kitchen staff comes out to smoke, if they started the line in the other direction this wouldnt be an issue and the poor staff could enjoy their breaks without us annoying people disturbing them. After we were seating quickly, everything started to fall apart. Our server let me try a sample of boneshaker which I disliked (Im a wuss) but very nice that they let you try it... Our drinks came within a few minutes and the wait staff were SO nice... Our food? almost an hour... We are very patient and had drinks and a sunset so we werent peeved about the wait. However when the food DID arrive, my moms chicken sandwich was cold and the top bun was hard as a rock! My burger was cold too, only the patty itself was a little warm and had clearly been sitting. Oddly enough, my fries were perfect and were some of the best Ive had in a long time lol. On the flip side my dads ribs were hot and he enjoyed them. My wifes Brisket mac and cheese was hot and delicious. Id recommend people try the smoked brisket dinner itself! We didnt see our server for another 15 minutes and we were so hungry we just ate the food as it was. Very underwhelming considering the price point. As soon as I went inside to use the washroom I saw the problem... the entire kitchen was backed up with orders! The entire table down the line had food ready to go out but nobody was taking it... It looked like at least 20 plates sitting getting cold which was obviously what happened to ours. I dont totally fault the kitchen OR the wait staff. I think right after a jays game or leafs its so crazy that things get missed and the staff get overwhelmed, but these guys charge a premium and they should know how busy it gets and staff accordingly. Either that or remove a few tables and let people wait. I wouldve preferred the get on a list and wait 20-30 minutes (Whats wrong with a walk along the water?) and have them text you when a table was ready if it meant the service was more on the ball. I would really like to visit again when it isnt right after an event let out because I think they can do a lot better.

Lunch on the waterfront was wonderful with beautiful views of the marina, food was delicious and filling as the portion size is generous...the smoked brisket on ciabatta with coleslaw and the special baked beans sauce was mmh!...service was attentive and friendly...the atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely and lively on a weekday afternoon. Located on the harbour it could be a relaxing place for sundowners as well with views of the CN tower and water tours bustling on the water...in house craft beers and cocktails with good food with friends, family or solo is definitely a must at the Brewhouse while in Toronto...highly recommend!

Insist on sitting in Micheals section. He is the most entertaining, enthusiastic, and best waiter we have had in a long time. Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The food and ambiance were great, but the best part was our waiter, Michael. He took service to the next level, which made the whole experience that much more memorable.... will I remember the wonderful dinner, or how awesome Michael was?!? Either way, it is worth it. I highly recommend!

Ambiance and location is good, variety of original craft brews also decent. Food is a bit on the less than impressive side and a bit high in cost for what you get. But the beer is decent, come here for the creative brews.

Went with a group of 10. The server said she won t take food order until she finishes the drinks order. Came back only after 45 mins to take the food order when I was about to leave. Tried asking other servers and they said that I have to wait for the server assigned to our table. Poor service.

We didnt make a reservation but they were able to find a table for the 8 of us. And the spot was perfect with the perfect view on the lake! Service & Atmosphere was great! The food however. Ordered the korean fried calamari that tasted like regular deep fried calamari and paid 24$ for 12 pieces of calamari? I m not sure if that s normal but I definetly feel ripped off!

I went to this place a couple of days ago and I want to highly recommend it. The food was excellent I ordered the brisket Mac and Cheese and it was delicious , I also want to give huge props to the server Esteban he was very attentive and he always kept sure that I had everything I needed, and lastly I want to express that I was very surprised that a busser gave me a excellent service, he didn t served my table but he asked a couple of times if everything was okay with me and and he even stayed a couple of minutes of his time to chat for a little, very friendly one, big props to Leon. I would 100% comeback to this place :)

The place is big, spacious and had a great vibe. Being a Brewhouse, the beer samples were great. Cocktails were decent. The food had good portion for the price. We ordered fish tacos, spinach & artichoke dip, chicken schnitzel, & smokey bbq chicken pizza. Everything was great!! We served by Olivia, the customer service was excellent.

After work, I decided to visit this place to have dinner and enjoy a nice beer. However, I immediately encountered several issues. First, it took a long time to find a table, and when one was found, other guests unexpectedly sat at it. I asked for this to be resolved, and they offered me a table that was unstable and couldn t be fixed. Afterward, they suggested I sit at the bar, even though I had clearly stated from the beginning that I wanted a table. As a result, I had to stand in the middle of the room for about 10 minutes, feeling uncomfortable. Eventually, I called the manager, who offered me another table, and this really improved the situation. I dont want to assume that the way I was treated was because I came alone. Unfortunately, the service was still lacking: the waitstaff were too busy and forgot to bring napkins. Despite all this, I enjoyed the food and the beer, but the staff clearly needs additional training.

Great place to spend an evening with friends and colleagues.. its going to be loud and you have be there pretty early to be seated outside.. reservations are only for inside.. great drinks and decent food.. I ordered fish and chips it was bland.. but all the other dishes we ordered were great.. Marcus was great and made sure we enjoyed our evening.. there was only one instance where a drink was delivered late but all other were on time...
