Been here a few times after volleyball at woodbine. Awesome food & drinks, cool vibe. Great spot to watch the game too.

Great place to go and have a drink if youre in beaches area. Mixed drinks are very good, good specials available. Food was good especially the wings. Good atmosphere and lots of room.

Good beers, and they know how to make a good poutine. Also, free Mario Cart :-D Parking: Parking is very season and time dependent. On a summer weekend, it is going to be extremely hard to find a spot. On a winter weekday night (after 6:30) there is plenty of parking.

Some really good beers here. I really enjoyed the cream ale and will be back again. Service was on point.

Carl and the entire crew at Beaches Brewing are doing it right. Perfect vibe for the neighbourhood. Incredible beer, dialled in menu and a great place to watch sports, do trivia or catch up with friends. Our favourite is the A Bay or the Beach Bound. The double press burger or the chicken sandwich is our go to when we are a little hungry. (Quesadillas or the pretzel isn t a bad call either).

Its a Sunday night. The tables outside and their lights set a great vibe. I just happened to be in the area and liked the pub and patio feel of thelis place. Food was Fantastic! Beer, in-house brewed selections - excellent. I might suggest to owners to offer flights. But this is a definite stop if youre in the area Ill be back.

Came for trivia on a Wednesday. The atmosphere and music was fantastic, beers were good and staff were amazing. The only meh thing was the food. Shared wings, fries and a nasi goreng (way too many onions and no flavour) and they were all okay but nothing special.

Beach Brewery is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy great brews and delicious food. Their beer selection is impressive, offering a variety of flavors to suit every palate. I was particularly impressed by New EnglandiPad IPA. The food menu is equally satisfying, with a nice mix of options to choose from. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable for the quality.

Great brewery on the east end! Good beers and a unique atmosphere. Food is also good - try their tacos!

Tried the Margarita pizza and one of the ciders on tap. The crust on the pizza was good but the cheese was very bland, needs more salt for sure . Cider on tap always delicious. Great atmosphere, very breezy inside which was nice. The washrooms were interesting but not in a bad way ! Just never expected them to be stickers and graffiti in the stalls and the sinks in the washroom was very nostalgic, like the ones youd see in your elementary schools growing up .

The service and food at this establishment was okay, but the manager was rude and unprofessional with my group. I called a week ago to book a reservation for a group of 19 people. When we arrived the manager had told our group that we should have told them ahead of time that we re going to be ordering food, as they were understaffed with only one cook. This is completely unprofessional because first, you don t put the responsibility on the customer to tell the restaurant that we re going to be eating at a restaurant where you go to EAT. And second, don t blame the customer for your poor planning in understaffing, knowing well in advance that there s a large party coming. I ve worked in food service at busier restaurants before and I d never put the blame on the customer for something that wasn t their fault. This situation could have been handled differently by management. We will not be back.

Food & drinks were great, but we made a reservation a week ago for 19 people and upon arrival they rudely told us we should have let them know when making the reservation that we all planned to eat because there was only one cook on site. UPDATE: While I dont disagree that things went well, trying to displace the blame on the customer is WILD. We called 5 hours in advance to change our reservation time, which you had the liberty to deny--this also goes for our group arriving 30 mins early (we actually came in separate groups, so not all of us arrived at once). As for our party number--9 extra people, not 11 which some of them didnt even eat--you had more than enough room to accommodate us, so not sure why our party number is relevant. So ultimately, yes, we are upset with how management treated us and your customer service (or lack thereof) and evidently, so are many other patrons. Managing expectations wouldve been as simple as saying, given that you are a larger party, wait time for food may take a little longer rather than making us feel like the onus was on us to tell you that we were all planning on eating...at dinner time...at a restaurant. Oof, must be hard to hear.

Great place for afternoon delights

I went to the Beaches Brewpub for the first time in the summer of 2022 and was seated on the patio. The table was smeared with ketchup and the water glasses all had lip marks on them. We waited for 15 minutes until the server came back for our drink order, then decided to leave. I thought I would give them another try this past weekend. The food was ok and our server was good. However, the state of the bathrooms was so disgusting I found it difficult to return to the table and eat. The stench of urine was so strong in the womens washroom it was hard to breathe. I cant help but wonder what state the kitchen is in. After this experience, I am not going back to this restaurant. There are so many better options in the Beach and if you are looking for a bar/pub atmosphere, go to the Lion, Breakwall or Wolfe Tone. Better food, great staff, MUCH cleaner.

Staff were friendly (but there werent enough of them, not the staffs fault though). The beers themselves were pretty good, I had a flight and my standout was the rice lager. Will definitely visit again if I am ever back in that end of town.

I am giving this place 1 star not because the food or service was bad but something had to be said about the management here , I have been in a few times great service and food, But twice now I have seen the manager / bartender talk so poorly to one of the wait staff ( female ) that he brought her to tears in front of customers, calling her stupid !! the first time it was upsetting but I thought okay maybe he s having a bad day and he will apologize to her later , but weeks later I hear the same guy belittling the same girl again infront of customers and again making her cry , how embarrassing for this girl and this establishment to have such a monster working there , and then to watch him snicker and laugh with some customers at the bar like it was nothing to him , So to the owner do better in taking care of your staff , she s seems like a sweet girl and is always doing a great job as a posed to the guy slacking behind the bar making staff cry !!! he should be let go and if he acts like this infront of customers can you imagine what he does when they are alone , scary

Thanks so much to beaches brewpub for our daughter s birthday celebration! It was a perfect spot to hang out with our friends and their kids, we had amazing food at a great price and an easy relaxed space to celebrate.

I can t say enough amazing things about this place. I discovered beaches brewing on a whim and decided to host our New Year s Eve engagement dinner and party here. Carl the owner was absolutely incredible. He was receptive to all of our requests, worked closely with us to execute our vision and his team brought a lot of enthusiasm and friendliness to a long night where they expertly managed to take care of a full restaurant of dinner and drink service with no problems. The food and drinks are delicious and affordable, and the decor and vibe is really fun. There were menu options to accommodate any of my friends and family s dietary needs and an accessible washroom was available for use by those with accessibility requirements, which is tough to find in this area. Myself and many of my friends would not hesitate to come back here, and I d recommend to anyone and everyone to host your events here. Happy 2024 to the beaches brewing company team and I can t thank you all enough for how you helped shaped a great night

I helped plan a New Years Eve engagement party for my friends here, and it was absolutely fabulous! I would certainly host gatherings here again. We had ~100 people come throughout the night, and Carl and his staff were so friendly and easy to communicate with. Everyone loved the food and drinks. Cant wait to visit their patio in the summer!

The food is excellent. Shared halloumi and calamari appetizers, I had the chicken parm sandwich with mac and cheese as a side and I also tried a slice of the Kihei treat pizza. Everything was delicious, I cant wait to come back.

Was expecting the food to play second fiddle to the beer but that is not the case as the food stands up on its own. Had a delicious calamari, seafood chowder, and a pizza (the vallarta) that puts most pizza places to shame.

Parking: Paid street parking but free parking nearby on residential streets, but it may be difficult to find a spot in the evening. Parking not allowed overnight on the residential streets. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome.

Great craft brewery

Went here with my wife recently and had a mediocre time. We were there to watch a game and relax/have some food and beers. Sat at the bar and the place wasn t very busy. Staff were mostly hanging out in an area at the other end of the bar talking and laughing with each other. A few employees who were off the clock were sitting at the bar and getting up to go around the bar to serve themselves drinks. I think one of them was a an off the clock manager which was even worse. Very unprofessional. Our main server didn t tell us when the kitchen was closing and we weren t able to get food, meanwhile the bar staff were sharing a pizza at a bus station and eating it in full view of the restaurant without washing their hands afterwards. Beer was so-so and they ran out of a couple options we wanted to try. We both come from hospitality backgrounds so we don t require much attention but we barely got any and had to wait with empty glasses often. Staff was nice but they seemed more interested in their impromptu staff party then the guests. I doubt we ll return, too bad.

Other than the wings being a little over done. The fries were plentiful, local draft beers were on point.

Nice local craft brewery with a changing menu that is interesting. Happy to say, that they are still going strong and have a fantastic beer menu. The summer patio is a great addition! Dropped in today for a pint and a late lunch - food is still terrific and the beer never fails to impress (A-Bay Pale Ale is my go to). The vibe here is always chill - a great spot!

We went there on Monday holiday. The front patio was full, we seat on a inside table, and that was the best seat of all, we was cooler and well served. The beer menu and food menu have good options. We really enjoyed everything! Food

Calamari with the kale/romaine Caesar was a surprisingly complete meal that went very well together. The calamari had a unique (to me) batter and was far better than the usual appetizer. Note to management- Ashley is a good resource, showed me how to work your QR code and charged my phone graciously. Paper menus wouldn t hurt, just saying.

I was really hoping this place would be good because there arent a lot of vegan options in the beaches. I ordered the BBQ cauliflower which was labeled as vegan but the dipping sauce was not vegan, so eating the cauliflower alone was dry and they were a bit burnt.

I went there for the first time on a first date with a lovely lady. Before she arrived, Jaiden was very hospitable, seeing what she could do/get for me & my date before she arrived. During the course of the evening, Jaiden had checked in on us at the right times. She was part of the reason why we had a good time last night. Separate from Jaidens first-class service, I know that Id dropped a $100 bill in the pub which was the only downside which has nothing to do with the pub or service. I highly recommend this place. Came for lunch. Ordered grilled halloumi, pizza, tacos and burger. The interaction with the server was awkward. The grilled halloumi that was ordered as an app for the table came out after our mains. We mentioned to the server as he dropped the mains and he said oh ya they re on the pass . In my experience apps are usually dropped before mains. Food was average. Halloumi was overly salty. Ambiance was great just some execution issues. The washrooms - dirty. Spider web with a spider above mens toilet, hand dryer didn t work and paper towel on the sink was wet and the floor was wet throughout.

Food was okay, but the atmosphere and service was great. I had the Cubano burger which was a bit dry and not really what I was expecting. However, the Caesar I drank was 5 stars.

I visited in December 2019 and had an unpleasant experience (mostly due to the food). There were two other tables around 7pm on a Saturday when both the Leafs and Raptors were playing and the servers were chatting a lot at the bar, so I will not be accounting the lack of service to being understaffed. We were not asked at all of what we thought of the food or drinks, nor were we asked if we had needed anything at any point throughout our visit. We ordered the cauliflower bites, which were not crispy at all. It was served soft and dripping with oil. The jalapeno poppers were filled with a watery sauce that have already pooled out as it was served. The filling had the consistency of a warmed ranch dressing. It is a strange choice to choose a sauce instead of a cheese, but I would be open to hearing their justification. The batter of the jalapeno poppers did not adhere to the jalapeno and it was enjoyed separately from the pepper. The breadcrumb batter was flavourful and it was nice when dipped in the sauce. Lastly, we ordered one of the flatbreads, which was listed to have forest mushrooms, banana bell peppers, asiago and fennel sauce; please see photo. We added sausage for $3, which accounted to a $18 flatbread. The flatbread had five thin slices of sausage which tasted like a generic kielbasa. Mushrooms looked like creminis. A photo was previously uploaded by my accompaniment but it was deleted. I feel this is dishonest business practice. Perhaps if it was not representative of your business, it should not have been served, and the photo should have been addressed at its source and not deleted. It is strange to see a brewery/restaurant with a 4.7 rating (as of 02FEB2020) with little to no photos from actual diners.

Went here specifically for a margarita with a girlfriend. I got the coconut marg and she got the lime marg - both were tasty! I got the chicken wings - honey garlic. They were pretty poor tasting. It was all drums, the sauce did not taste like honey garlic. There was also a weird red ting to some of the wings- I don t think undercooked but definitely left me feeling grossed out. She got the shrimp rice and loved it. It looked tasty. Service was amazing, our server was very friendly and outgoing ! She also had great drink recommendations

Tried ordering coffee. The guy said they don t do coffee because they want to do one thing and do it well. Ordered a Kahuna burger. Realized the guy meant every word about doing things well. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere.

Great beer , delicious dinner

This is our second visit to Beaches Brewing Company, but it wont be our last! Great microbrewery craft beers (Amber Ale, yummm!) and delicious burgers with real frites! The staff were friendly and welcoming without being pushy. Great experience and a high recommendation for others to try them out!

Great Beer, Good People, Fun Thursday Trivia!

This place is UNBELIEVABLE. I felt a little conflicted, because I want Beaches to get their much deserved credit, but I also don t want to let out the secret for anyone that doesn t know this place exists (for fear of not getting a future table!!!). To start- their in house brewing is all top notch, and the flights (samplers) offer a variety of new palettes and flavors. All we tried (creme ale, wheat, stout, lager) fantastic with no aftertaste and sat well. Pizza- great undercarriage and cheese was flavorful. And topping were fresh and clean Burger- smashed, a chopped up nice- great ingredients on the Kahuna (pineapple). Their guac aioli mayo is ridiculous (have to get !!!) Will definitely be back !!! Great place to watch the game! Came for a drink, ended up staying for the World Cup qualifier and dinner. When Canada won they brought out a round of red shots! Super friendly staff! Loved the Kahuna burger, guac aioli brought it to a whole new level! Grabbing some beer to bring home and will be back soon!

Just a few things that annoyed me. I went to get a few beers and arrived 20min before it was said to closed yet it seemed like they decided to close early. I went in the day after and they had a selection of maybe 5 beers in cans and 1 beer in bottles. I wanted to try a few maybe 2 or 3 of these but they only sell the cans in 4 or 6 packs. For me, its not accessible for people that wanna try their beers. Most of their beers didnt have labels and were handwritten with sharpie, which I actually dont care, but added to the annoyance of needing to buy 4 of them to try it. The beer Ive tried from here in the past were really solid though. I also suggest buying from here rather than LCBO as its local. But as some constructive criticism for me and my experience, sell your beers individually and keep your establishment open the times that is advertised.

I went this past Sunday to enjoy the beer and to have a bite to eat with a couple of friends. It was our first time there. We sat at the bar, up in the front window. The entire space has a really cool vibe. It was a gorgeous day, we had great seats! We looked at the menu and got some advice from our server about what beer(s) to try. The menu had $20ish printed as the code of a pitcher. We were never told what the ish could mean. We ended up ordering 2 of them. I also had the fish tacos. The fish was very small and was also quite tasteless. I would call the food ok , nothing more than that. When I got my bill, by the time the sales tax and tip were added, I was at over $60 for one pitcher of beer (my friend paid for the other one) and three little tacos. Upon further investigation, I learned that the pitcher of beer was not $20ish, but was $32! I will not be going back.

Poor experience. I made a reservation for a party of 55 and the owner Carl was not prepared for it. I felt like helping him the entire time. Service was very slow. However, I looked past the poor organization of it all, the bad food, and the ghetto washrooms and tried to reserve there again and give this place a second chance, only to receive a lack of communication from Carl. I do not recommend a place where the manager lacks communication and provides bad customer service.

They recently changed their menu and its way better! Beers are always on point whatever you order. Pizza is pretty good, and their chicken sandwich is a home run. Fries are so delicious we had to order a 2nd order. Their kitchen closes at 9pmish? So get your food orders in before then. They do take reservations by phone only. I ordered their pineapple burger first time I came and wasnt a fan, but maybe its gotten better. Lots of beer to takeout as well. I think Fridays they also have all drink specials!

We had a great experience on the patio with our family. Good service, great food. I dont drink beer, however everyone seemed to be enjoying it around me. Well be back soon.

The ceviche was crazy dry. My friend ordered a pineapple fried rice but the rice wasn t even fried, it was more à Bolognese rice with a huge spoon of mayonnaise on it. I ordered a virgin mojito they charged me 15$ more than the regular mojito with alcool! Never going there again I recommend you to do the same

I absolutely love this bar! We have visited a few times and every time the staff is so friendly and super attentive - our drinks never hit the bottom! The decor and atmosphere is great. It goes without saying the beer is delicious. We did a flight on our last visit to sample the various options. Its so refreshing to have a truly local bar in the neighbourhood. Highly recommend!

Great menu options to accompany fresh rotations on the taps. Beaches Brewing is a wonderful addition to Queen East, and should be on your itinerary if youre visiting the Beaches. Carl (owner) and his entire team are friendly and care deeply about the community. Good vibes found here.

I remember spotting them as one of the vendors at Ashbridge when I went down to watch fireworks a couple of years back. That time when I asked where the brewery was, they said they did not have a brewery yet. Now they have a very cool looking pub/brewery in the middle of The Beaches area. Went in to pick up a couple of beers to go. Tasted good, resonably priced. It was a very quick and easy in and out. Next time I would love to try their food after reading all the good reviews.

Tried to eat in at this place but was not acknowledged in the line by any of the servers . It wasn t clear if there was a hostess or not so after waiting we sat ourselves inside. They couldn t acknowledge us in line but were pretty quick to tell us to get out of the booth and let us know there was a line .. we knew there was a line, we were standing in it but no one bothered to say anything to us. When we went back outside to speak to the server or hostess whatever she was, she again did not acknowledge us and helped the people that were standing in line behind us . This place looked like it would have been good but the staff need some training in customer service.

Beaches Brewing is awesome, my local go to for meeting friends. Also buy all my beer here because its closer than the LCBO, beer is always changing and reasonably priced for craft beer.

I was so disappointed with the service. We ended up sitting outside on the patio and 4-5 other tables came and were seated after us, yet they were all served before us. It took a really long time for anyone to even acknowledge us or take out drink order. The system for serving outdoor customers is a mess and there s no order to it so even if you ve been seated for a while the servers seem to approach the tables in whatever order they decide.

A nice place to enjoy fresh cold beer

If u wanted to water down rum and cokes or gin and 7s this is the place to could be ...all u taste is sode and no alcohol. I felt like I was drinking McDonalds pop and I dont even want to get started about the food just avoid it.

Came for some snacks mid afternoon on a weekday and had a great time, the cocktails (as well as the beers!) are really great! We did some happy hour food specials and they were really good too. Its such a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Good beer, great staff trivia on Wednesday is a bonus

I came here with some friends before seeing a show at History earlier this month and it was a good experience! The location is pretty convenient and only about a 10-15 min straight walk to History, so it s a nice chill place for pre-show food and drinks. I phoned the day before for a reservation - the worker was really nice and I had no trouble getting a table for a large party (probably helped it was for mid afternoon, not lunch or dinner time). Unfortunately they d run out of mint the day before, so I couldn t get a mojito, but the blackberry lime gose was refreshing and easy to drink. I ordered the chicken sandwich with side of fries, which came to the table surprisingly fast and tasted delicious! I really loved the shoestring fries. From what I remember, my bill was pretty reasonable too. There were a couple instances I thought our server could have been more attentive, especially because it wasn t too packed the majority of the time we were there. But it was still an acceptable level of service considering how many people we had. Overall I would recommend and would likely return to Beaches Brewing Co.

Ive walked by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try last night and Im glad I did. Good food, great atmosphere and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable.

Awesome beer, awesome food, and awesome staff! Enjoyed a flight today on the patio, with tacos and fries. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Picked up a pizza and sour beer to go. Both were delicious. Friendly service also.
