Consistently high quality. Had lunch there several times. One of our favorite places. Very popular place. Great food.

Honestly pretty surprised at how well this place is rated. I ordered the basic breakfast, and the potatoes were underdone and tasted of cooking oil. The salad was meh. Sausage was cold and dry. Eggs were nice, but for the price, I would expect a lot more.

Came on a Monday so it wasn t too busy. I tried the braised beef egg benny which was good, but I wouldn t line up hours for it. Our server wasn t attentive, we got bottomless coffee and no one came to refill. Had to flag down another server eventually. Also my bread had a piece of mold.

Great food and service. The space is kinda narrow. The brunch was great but it is not exceptional!

This was the 3rd time that I visited this place. Of course their food and service is outstanding but the only disappointment I always have the wait time and I expect them to do something about seating or increasing the space as it feels to compact too. But if you ready to wait then it s a green flag for you.

Whew. Don t know who is writing these reviews but Lady Marmalade left so much to be desired. Not sure with is more bland, the food or the decor (which honestly is more congruent with a ramen spot). Service was mediocre, challenging me for the first time to actually consider not tipping. Ultimately a restaurant like this (food, decor, & service) is a byproduct of the management s vision and training. Here s your call to action to improve.

We were a group of 4 and none of us was impressed with what we ordered. The food was mediocre at best and so was the service.

I think I found Toronto s best breakfast place & this is everything I ate but first welcome to Lady Marmalade located towards the east end of Toronto known for its inventive breakfasts and nordic inspired interiors!! With over 2.3K reviews on Google and a solid 4.6 rating, you know I had to check it out for myself! It almost feels like a townhouse, the ground floor has a coffee station along with a few tables but the floor above has literally one of the coolest spaces to dine at! So dreamy! I could literally be here all day! & while we took a few minutes to decided on our breakfast options, we both ordered ourselves lattes while we decides on the food options! You will literally be spoiled for choice with so yummy options to choose from! & This was everything we ordered, I opted for the classic B.A.B eggs benny with bacon, avocado and brie - SOO SOO GOOD! The highlight for me was the salad because that dressing was literally bomb.commm & the benny itself was cooked to perfection!!! Amit opted for the Moroccan Eggs Scramble which came which had tons of veggies like kale, spinach, tomatoes, olives, spiced chickpeas & he throughly enjoyed that too!! Towards the end we were packed but there is something I wanted to try that Lady Marmalade is known for its their super delicious waffles when I say these right here are the best buttermilk waffles I have ever tried in my entire life, I am not joking!!! & super moist, super flavourful, & the raspeberry compote was everything!!

the loaded potatoes with poached eggs was INCREDIBLE. i also shared some of the shredded beef and put it on top which made it to die for! this dish is in my top 3 best breakfasts i ve had. servers were so nice as well.

Visited on a Saturday morning. Waited about 20-25 minutes for a table. Service was a little slow despite being a very tiny restaurant but the food was fantastic!

Ive been other times during the week and on weekends and this place has been great. Most recently I went during the week and I was disappointed. The potatoes were soggy and oily, and the house made ketchup tasted bland. The rest of the food was good.

Went on a weekday, no wait, they have an interesting menu with new items. The Benedicts are tastier than the rest of the menu. If you re getting the baked thing with parched eggs, I think the ham option is better than veggie.

A spacious, clean, and bright breakfast/lunch space in the east end! Came here on a Tuesday morning and they had no problem accommodating us. They don t take reservations, so make sure you go on a less busy day! Staff was kind. theres 2 levels - both of which are clean and maintained. Food was yummy!! My partner got a traditional breakfast and said the eggs were very fresh and local. All around a cute spot!

They dont take reservations, we showed up with 5 adults and 2 babies. they pulled together a table quick. Service was fast and attentive, we split champagne and the food came fast and hot. Most Important is that the food is so gosh darn amazing. cant wait to return!

Very long wait times, miscommunications and confusion. Also a very clean place and very narrow walls make everybodys conversation accumulate to a headache. But I also think people wouldnt be able to have such loud conversations if the food was better.

Place is fine , just one question , what happened to additional avocado? Compare to additional meat Sausage it is less than a small. Nice salads and home Fries. Food

If that wasnt enough indulgence, the avocado adds a nutty creaminess to the dish that compliments the umami of the crispy bacon and the tang of the brie, which comprise of the perfect bite to fuel your morning. Home-style fries are a must, fried to a delicate crisp on the outside while still being tender inside. Finally, the salad provides a refreshing palate cleanser, finished off with a sweet and tangy Japanese-style dressing. Obviously, you cant have brunch without getting something sweet. What better than an entire load of a piping hot, freshly baked portion of bread pudding? With a subtle buttery aroma, the thick caramel sauce is an indulgent burst of sweetness and a fruity, banana aroma. Critical hit for me, cause I have a weak spot for banana-flavoured desserts. A Toronto classic! Famous for their eggs benedict and it never disappoints. Their home fries are very mediocre unfortunately. Service is excellent as well. Would recommend! p.s. if visiting on the weekend, be prepared to wait around 30 minutes!

First time here so I played it safe and had just the scrambled eggs with homefries and wholewheat toast and a side of sausage - well done please n thanx. The eggs were not mixed and the whites were very runny. The toast was DRENCHED in butter and the $4 side of sausage was 3 halved pieces of dry cold sausage. The eggs looked farm fresh, so theres that. The warm tap water was just gross. No one checked up on us. I read a ton of great reviews and the line up is what drew us in...for the last time. Sorry for the bad review, but that really did suck for $20.

The atmosphere, food, and service were all great. I m not a huge breakfast person, but the braised beef benny was delicious. I ll be coming back for it again soon!

Finally got to try this place out. Went on a weekday so there was no wait. Got seated upstairs. The space is big and bright with very high ceilings. However, with hard surfaces and the high floors it seems that noise carries well and it can get a bit on the loud side. If you want quiet, I would probably recommend the ground floor. I had a scrambled egg and rice dish which was really good. Never had anything like it before but would go back just to order it again. My wife liked her dish as well. The food was very good. Would recommend!

Artful space, friendly staff, hearty brunch! Modern two-level space where you can bathe in natural light and hanging plants. Brought family and our kids here and it was delightful for all. Croque mon + eggs Benny were kids loved their waffles, avec REAL MAPLE SYRUP, and wiped their plates clean. Parking: Parking was tricky for tourists or visitors. For for Toronto locals it s the usual roll-the-dice for paid street parking Kid-friendliness: Staff didn t bat an eyelash when they heard kids - instead they smiled, asked if they needed a high chair and simplified the daily waffle special happily. Washrooms are gender-neutral and are equipped with change tables

Amazing place with delicious food.

Generally it didnt worth the hype. We had to stand in line for 1h15m just because they dont have booking system. while waiter was saying it takes 45m max. We noticed multiple groups after us going in finishing their meals and we were yet standing. just bcuz they didnt want to attach tables together for a bigger group we had to wait. food was meh, and the froth for the milk on latte wasnt perfect either. Fun part, after 1h15m wait since we were table of 6,we had to pay the 18% tip... I know other restaurants have the same for this size group but they dont hold that group waiting under the rain and humid weather longer than every other groups either. The best meal was the Braised beef Torta and the eggs on Crepe croque monsieur was not cooked as it should have been. (pictures are included)

Met a friend here for brunch on a Friday around 10:30am - there was no lineup but it was already pretty busy, 90% of the tables were full. Ordered the huevos migas which I really enjoyed, it was flavorful and very filling. If I had to nitpick I would have preferred the green onion to be sliced a little smaller so they can be more evenly dispersed throughout the dish, as the long pieces were hard to eat.

Went in for a breakfast on Saturday to this busy and popular place. 20mins wait for a table of one. The food lacks a bit in terms of presentation, however it very much makes up to it on flavour and ingredients used. There was no service at all. Not provided with water, not even asked if I wanted water. No greeting after I ve sat down as well. What stroke me the most is the contrast when the two table next to me received exceptional service while I was ignored. I had to ask for water and bill three separate times until it was finally delivered to me.

The food here is delicious. I usually get the mango eggs benedict and it s next level amazing. You can t really taste the mango flavour and so it s not a sweet dish but there s an undertone of the mango - it s there but not overpowering at all. It s an excellent dish.

Lady Marmalade has the best Salmon Eggs Benedict in GTA. No one else comes close. Having said that to get those, you will most probably have to wait in a line for a little while on weekdays and Im assuming more than that over weekends. The service is quick and friendly. The coffee is just ok. The place itself is a bit narrow and feels crowded. The ambiance is done in earthy and light tones which makes it airy and well lit making it very pleasant. Highly recommended for fans of Eggs Benedict!

Very cute little spot. I really enjoyed the cheddar and spinach waffle with soft poached eggs. My brunch companion enjoyed the crepe croque monsieur. The coffee was surprisingly smooth and delicious. The mimosa was fruity fresh. Service friendly and attentive. Next time I would like to try the huevos rancheritos.

Delicious breakfast. I would like to recommend this breakfast restaurant to everybody Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian for vegans people. Parking: P parking and also have other parking. But, we need to pay.

Was charged for tomatoes when it clearly says salad or tomatoes plus told us to leave when we were drinking our coffee because they had more people to sit - so rude! We come to this establishment often and was not pleased at all- we weren t there even one hour. Spoke to the manager and she had no answer for the tomato charge just hemmed and hawed about it. About them telling us to leave she said well we are busy on the weekends- was more frustrated after talking to her

A beautiful spot for Brunch on the east side. Highly recommended! Just be preaching to stand in line a bit (especially if you re a larger party). Food quality is good, and a lovely little place to dine in. Food : 5/5

Excellent place for brunch. Would recommend being seated up stairs for more natural light. Got the Moroccan Scramble with Tofu - came out really nice. Home Fries were a bit under cooked Coffee was great, creamer options were almond, oatmilk and regular cream. Would recommend and visit again Vegetarian options: Tofu can replace eggs in their dishes.

Stopped in on July 11, 2024. Visiting from Chicago with the family, had the pulled pork benny. Everyone s food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Highly recommend this wonderful spot for breakfast/brunch 10/10. Kudos to whoever was selecting the music, great playlist.

Ordered pork eggs bennidict, hollindase was good, but the dish was poorly thought out and even more poorly executed. Pork was dry , egg was beautiful, but overall everything but the potatoes (which were under seasoned and underwhelming) was like warm at best. Waiter was amazing , but there were flys on the walls. 3/5

If you don t mind the lineup, this is probably one of the best brunch spot in the city. We arrived around 11am on a Sunday and had to wait in the line for about 20 mins. I ordered the mango benny, my friends ordered the pulled pork benny and the cochinita torta. I recommend the bennys here, the mango salsa was delicious. We also really liked the salade dressing, it s a soy ginger mix that you can buy to take home. Besides the food, we also really liked the cozy interior. The service was good too.

My most favourite brunch spot I always come here for their tofu Moroccan scramble. I cannot get enough of it.

I was overcharged $3 for a ham crepe croque made with mix of ham and veg suggested by the server herself. Server didnt offer to fix the billing problem. It is listed as $19 on the menu and there was no verbal disclosure of an upcharge. I visited on a weekday late lunch. No wait for a table. Tiny flies around the table unfortunately. Individual washrooms beside the tables. Restaurant requires climbing up a flight of stairs. I would not recommend based on the overcharge and lack of ethics.

The poached eggs were done to perfection !We had the Moroccan dish w/tofu and the Huevo rancheritos, they were both delicious, healthy and fulfilling. The design is minimalistic and welcoming. The service was good and quick. Will come back !

Would highly recommend! Between the 3 of us, we tried the BLT with avocado, veggie eggs Benny and the breakfast hash with poached eggs. It was all phenomenal! The service was good, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was nice. Don t overlook this place- give it a try!

Food- We got the The breakfast and Braised Benny. Its good but its not worth lining up for. I mean you can try for yourself but...its not anything mind blowing like the reviews say lol! Just tasted like an average breakfast to me. Ive tried way better brunch places in the city. I will say though, the ingredients are of good quality, theres just no seasoning to make it taste any better. - Vibe- The service is fantastic but the atmosphere is TERRIBLE. Family gatherings with babies, toddlers and strollers everywhere for the whole hour-or so we were there. Doesnt help that the place is congested already. Friendly reminder its not a playground...its a brunch restaurant. If your kids are ill-mannered keep them at home, we dont want to be bumped into and hear screaming at 9 am

We ordered the salmon benny, mango benny, orange juice, brewed coffee, and bread pudding. The bread pudding was amazing and well-balanced, and the eggs were boiled to perfection, retaining their structure as they should. Another great highlight was the server, Dan. He had a wonderful personality, handled everything with a positive attitude, and made sure to accommodate all dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend this place!

Solid 4 stars, we come here every few months. I usually get the Poached Egg BLT but it s becoming way too overpriced for the quantity of food, two thin slices of bread, a couple of spinach leaves, a slice of tomato and a slice of avocado with two medium (maybe even small) eggs. My partner gets the Braised Beef Benny which they enjoy very much! Wish they would figure out a different waiting/line up system than just standing outside, there are apps for that.

First time here, Staff is super friendly and service is more than welcoming. Food is honestly great for the price too. I got the breakfast sandwich with a salad, hot chocolate and orange juice (freshly squeezed). Side note, their hot sauce slaps. After this meal i had to write a review about this place. Waitresses have a great sense of humor and they DO NOT STOP MOVING. Definitely coming back here again.

Over all this was a very pleasant experience. We didnt have to wait too long for a table about 15 minutes on a long weekend around 11 am which is reasonable. The upper floor is very nice and bright and not chaotic and loud like many places. The braised beef benedict was really nice. The fries werent amazing but good. The bread pudding was also very delicious and had a massive dollop of toffee on it. I wish it had more fresh fruit but still very nice. All the ingredients were fresh and high quality even the coffee. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices are about average and similar to most brunch spots. My only complaint would be the home fries and the cutlery which looked beat up but thats nitpicking it and the experience was very satisfactory.

Busy weekends, but perfect weekday brunch. As someone that doesnt love cooked salmon but tried The Spicy Salmon sandwich - it was sooooooooo good. The flavour on the sandwich was . Would have it again.

Went for breakfast on a Wednesday morning, were able to get seated for 2, no trouble. I ordered the braised beef benny, which was delicious, with a horseradish crema, tender beef and perfectly poached egg. My friend had the breakfast sandwich which was also great, and a pretty good size! We ordered a blueberry lemon bread pudding to share as well based off some of the reviews and were not disappointed. The bread pudding portion was huge and the lemon curd provided the perfect tangy sweetness to compliment the blueberry bread pudding. Drip coffee was also good and a well done decaf cappuccino! Would come back again!

Worth the money and the wait! There s a long queue outside the restaurant but we are so happy we made the right choice to not leave. I tried Huevos Migas which is a Mexican food inspired dish, LOVE IT!! The portion is so big that for the very first time I was not feeling hungry until 7 after I finished my brunch. Everything tastes really good! FYI, there will be a long wait if you don t have reservations (tbh I am not even sure they take the reservation or not ) so Be There Early!!

Huge portion. FOOD: Build your own benny: it actually comes with bread, potato, salad but it doesnt say on the menu, I ended up order extra bread and salad. Mango salad taste a little weird because of the sauce. Sausage was tiny and tastes ok. Pull Pork Benny: I dont remember much about this but its decent, I like it better than the sausage. DRINKS: Cappuccino: coffee was ok, a little bland to my taste. SERVICE: theyre all very friendly VIBE: very small, you will have to line up outside because theyre very busy, tables are small and super close to each other.

Had a lovely brunch here last week. Only downside was where my companion was seated when I arrived: the table on the first floor, closest to the kitchen. The seat opposite the bench has a full ear shot of the kitchen, and I felt as though I was literally sitting beside our server as he chatted to their coworker. I could not concentrate, and I asked if we could be moved upstairs. The second floor felt like an entirely different restaurant experience- tons of sunlight, walls of plants, and communal tables. Once seated upstairs everything went smoothly. Both plates were delicious and service was great. Had we not moved upstairs, I would have definitely not wanted to return.

I had the Moroccan scramble with a cortado. Both were good. The staff were friendly and the space was very nice.

An amazing experience, and would definitely recommend, the servers were attentive and friendly and the food was unbelievably delicious, served hot, with layered and complex flavours, and had a lot of fun and unique dishes that made this place shine. Expected typical breakfast fare but was very pleasantly surprised to find such great food at such an amazing price!

Super cozy spot perfect to catch up with some friends. Reasonable (Toronto) prices and good portion sizes. Flavour palette is clean, fresh and bright; reflecting the energy of the service. Place is very popular so prepare to wait a little bit. Went on a Sunday at 12 and waited around 25 min. A little rough in the winter, but I would imagine its lovely in warmer weather. I like to try different dishes, and I found that getting a breakfast plate + a dessert to split between 2 was perfect. Personally tried the Huevos Migas, Pulled Pork Benny and Bread Pudding; all lovely but the pulled pork was my favorite, being the more flavourful of the three.

THE BEST BRUNCH IN TORONTO! I continually come back to Lady Marmalade as the food is always high quality and delicious. If you are a beef lover you must try the braised beef eggs Benedict. It s to die for! I get it every time. Whenever I bring new friends here they are impressed with whatever they order! Although it is pricey you are getting a bang for your buck. Serving sizes are generous and the mains come with potatoes and a side salad. Moreover the side salad is the best I ve ever had. The kale mixed with the sweet balsamic dressing is perfection. I d come here just for the side salad!!! Plus the server s are always wonderful and accommodating.I really love this place! If you re thinking about eating here DO IT. Don t let the line scare you it moves really fast!

The food was really delicious and high quality. I really liked the sauce for my braised beef benny and the fries was just perfect. The staff was nice and it was a cozy nice environment. I would give it 4 stars because we had to stay in the lineup for an hour and they don t take reservations, which makes it quite inconvenient. If it wasn t for the lineup, we would ve definitely gone back

I went to Lady Marmalade on December 31 around noon. They told me it wasnt as busy, but all the tables were occupied. I guess they said that because there wasnt a line of people waiting outside. The restaurant is in a beautiful space, close to public transportation. Its a two-level house, and it is more spacious upstairs, where I sat. Even though the tables are close, you dont feel on top of the other guests. The food is delicious and made with quality ingredients. The portions are good, and the dishes are visually appealing; what you get is the same as what you see in the photos. I got the Moroccan Scramble with tofu, and it was amazing! The staff is excellent, attentive and friendly. Even though they were packed, I got my food pretty quickly. I most definitely recommend this spot.

If you have ever passed by this restaurant, you will almost always see a large line out the door. They don t take reservations, so you will want to line up early to get a spot; their food, however, definitely lives up to the hype! I came here with a group of friends for a friend s birthday. I had heard of this restaurant before, and it surpassed my expectations! The design of the restaurant is super cute with its wood-centric theme, and there are many plants throughout. Our server was kind and helpful. We appreciated her attentiveness even though it was so busy! I got the Breakfast Poutine and a lemonade. It was DELICIOUS!! The potatoes were piping hot, the gravy was delectable, and the cheese curds melted perfectly. I also LOVED the giant green onions on top. The lemonade was ice cold, refreshing, and not too sweet. I would highly recommend coming here for a delicious brunch. Just make sure to get in line early! Vegetarian options: Their menu is mainly vegetarian and vegan options.

The food was AMAZING! Best I ve had personally. I got the B.A.B Benny and added ham and bacon to it. The service has a lower rating not because of our waiter but instead because they want you to wait in a line out the front of the restaurant and don t give you an option of leaving your number for call back.

This place is definitely one of the best brunch places in Toronto. I ve been here twice and it usually takes around 40-45minutes to get a table. Food is amazing and definitely worth the wait. We tried the mango salsa benny and the breakfast sandwich and loved them both!

Wow what an amazing place to grab a brunch! Been there several times, all were perfect. Breakfast sandwich is very nice but the real star of this place are eggs Benedict - I had with salmon and omg, those were one of the best I ve ever tried! I definitely recommend to visit it for nice ambiance, hospitable staff and delicious brunch!!

This small place is great for Branch. We went to try this place on a Sunday morning. It is a very popular spot and we had to wait about 30 min before getting a table. However, the waiting time paid off. We both ordered eggs Benedict one with pulled pork and one with salmon. The hollandaise sauce was very creamy and covered the eggs perfectly. We enjoyed both dishes. The coffee was refilled multiple times. I am sure I will be back.

Always delicious and always consistent. We ve been coming to this popular hot spot for years (when they were on queen east) and now we live next door. NEVER EVER come on the weekends because you can expect to wait hours in line.

Waited 30 mins outside for a table and it was worth every second. The taste was incredible. I don t get it how visually it looks just like every other brunch spot. HOWEVER! The taste was deeeelicious!! Strongly recommend this place especially if you have not been here yet.

Just wow! Beware, there maybe a wait. But it is worth it. With the line to the corner the waiting was only 15 minutes. Dress warm, you need to stand in line because this place does not take reservations. The Braised Beef Benny was so damn good! Flavorful. Rich. Filling. Paired with a great side salads and potatoes to go with it. The AM Hash with pulled pork is to die for. All of the above elements with great spices! Just go. Don t think twice!

The only reason it s four stars is that it s soooo crowded and it s a bit pricey. The food, staff, and atmosphere are all wonderful.

Great brunch menu with interesting options, friendly fast helpful service, really good coffee (just as important as the food imo!). Our Bennys were only like warm, but the eggs were clearly farm fresh, perfectly poached, and the dish was delish!

Cute breakfast place, they offer tofu instead of the eggs for vegan options. We enjoyed everything but it took a very long time to receive our check so we could leave, we were under time restrictions with parking.

The line for brunch was around 45 minutes, totally worth it. My friend chose the eggs Benedict (and loved it) and I ordered the Moroccan scrambled eggs, which was a real treat. The food is really tasty; our meals came with salads that were really refreshing. They offer bottomless coffee and the service is great. Note: You cannot stay laid back after you eat, as there are many others waiting. Therefore, I recommend this place for the experience of their meals, not as a hangout. Go for the Moroccan Scramble!

Definitely a great restaurant for brunch. The service and atmosphere is beautiful. You can have a great catch up with friends and family. I will say the food was fair but not exactly different from other brunch spots. Nevertheless nothing felt disappointing and I would recommend to my peers, friends and family about this place.

We had the pleasure to go to lady marmalade, I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was ok, all I could taste was scrambled eggs and mayo, I wish it had some other flavours to it. I will definitely go there again and try some other breakfast option though.

Always wanted to try this place but there is always a long line during the weekends so decided to try it on a weekday. The food is good. The interior is very unassuming and nothing crazy but the food and service speaks for itself.

One of my favourite brunch places. The smoked salmon benedict is the best Ive ever had, and the eggs they use are high quality and very tasty. It can be very hard to get a table, especially on the weekends, but its worth the wait.

We had a lovely experience here! There was a line out the door when we arrived at 11:45, but they seated everyone very quickly, so the wait was minimal. The seats were comfortable, and the decor was tastefully done. Service was friendly, fast and helpful. The dishes were all very tasty - I especially enjoyed the salmon in the salmon benny... and the dessert bread pudding is delicious and quite soft. I will definitely return when back in the Toronto area.
