Need to figure out how to manage their orders. Order pick-up through Ubereats. Arrived just after they stated it was ready. No one came out to check on orders, so after 5 minutes I knocked on door to kitchen only to be told it wasnt ready. Just got my food after a 26 minute wait.

I d love to rate this place biased on food but unfortunately I m just going to cut it at the phone call and miss leading info they have online I quickly called requesting to place and order and was quickly shut down and sent to order through Uber eats or skip dishes and that there are no extra fees okay no problem I then proceeded with creating the order online and quickly realize there is a 3$ difference and that the pricings were different.. so I proceeded to call back and let them know. Whom ever I spoke to on the phone continuously was quick to answer and to cut me off at every word, letting me know the prices have changed since over a year ago that those are the old prices .. I am confused that if this has changed over a year and they re well aware why not change is online as well ? I just felt mis lead and lied to about the prices I would have loved to try this taco/burrito place out but as said being cut short at every word as well as being met with hostility to make sure his point was sent across makes me not want to even bother trying them out Hopefully communication skills can be better handled in the future as well as updated prices through online google

This restaurant managed to satisfy both a health-oriented-food-control-freak and a nutrition-disregarding-food-lover. Everything from the packaging to the flavour was excellent. 10/10 will order again!

This is an online takeout restaurant, you have to walk through the fox bar to order from Rico burrito. The food is super nice, very friendly and good for take out and the ingredients used are fresh. I would definitely recommend their fish tacos, it was the best. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian option, with avocado.

Ordered for delivery and the chicken in my burrito tasted old and very dry, my wife s shrimp burrito tasted great however... The rest of my burrito was fantastic, I just couldn t enjoy it due to the dry chicken.

Very bland burritos. I added almost all the toppings and sauces and still was sooo bland and I have to eat more than half of the burritos just to get to the meat. Sad experience

Came across this gem on Uber eats. The tacos where absolutely amazing. The packaging is very neat and organized. The portions are very generous and the prices are good. I know Burrito Boyz get alot of praise, but Burrito Boyz dont even come close in terms of taste. Rico Burrito also doesnt charge extra for guag which is pretty much un-heard of these days. In my opinion Rico Burrito is one of the best Mexican food places in the Toronto area.

Amazing! Tacos were great and so was the burrito bowl. I would definitely recommend this place. This is a ghost kitchen and you have to order for pickup or delivery through UberEats or SkipTheDishes. There isn t a name on the storefront you actually enter through The Moose and Firkin pub to pick up your order.

We ordered some takeout from Uber and we were amazed about everything! The food was absolutely delicious, from starters to dessert. We ordered some tacos, burritos and a cheesecake and everything was impeccable. We were also impressed by the professionalism of the packaging, right on spot! So if you are craving latin food, this is absolutely a place to try!

Ordered dinner from here tonight the chicken bowl and haddock burrito were both amazing and flavourful, dulce cheesecake was good as well however the tres leches tasted sour as it was starting to go bad pretty disappointing as everything else was terrific

Couple of years back I tried their burrito and it was amazing. I love their packaging. I tried fried avocado burrito again this time. Only thing I found that rice was very mushy and watery. I wish they can add brown rice option. Also dine in would be fantastic as well.

I had ordered through Uber Eats but for some reason was unable to leave a review there today. This review is specifically for the Leslie street location. We were extremely pleased with our tacos. My son and I had a variety of different ones and all were very fresh and abundant with filling. I eat very spicy food and found the hot sauce quite hot - quite surprised at that. Happy to have great mexican food in the neighborhood again, we will definitely be ordering again!

Great good and great packaging. The only comment I would add is that on multiple occasions I didn t receive the extra meat even though I was charged for it.

Honestly, pretty good, not anything crazy but the guac and ingredients were pretty good. Only issues is that there was too much rice (which was all very small and hard to chew for some reason) and I ordered the lobster burrito and had so many sharp shells inside my food :( unfortunate but happens often with lobster in my experience. Next time I m gonna order some tacos with no rice or lobster and hopefully it s better :) the bag is also very cute I m keeping it

Nice packaging, however, burritos are bland and dry even after putting all the toppings and all the sauces. I ordered the meatless meat and it had a bad taste. The only other vegetarian option was fried avocado. Unfortunately, this was the worst burrito I ve ever had.

I was shocked by the quality of food and the cute packaging! Such amazing Mexican food! We ordered a combination of pork, chicken and beef tacos to see if the food is any good. This is going to be my go to Mexican.

Tha place only accepts take out. Really nice portions, packaged amazingly in style. While the taste is very good, the variety was not impressive - personally I am a fan of tacos and was very excited to try them out at Ricos. But it turns out that tacos or burrito - the inside is the same, you pick ingredients. So, I ended up with tacos that tasted like burrito. Overall a good place, I would try other items, lets see how they go about quesadilla!

Very rude supervisor or owner. He was talking to the phone while I was waiting for my pickup. When I tried to find my order, he start talking and rudely told show me.since my parents thought me the word please,I preferred to cancel the order and walk out. I hope he loose his business and be forced to be a delivery guy. Shame on him.

I have to say. After reading the other reviews on here, I had to try this place out. I am so glad that we did. We ordered the burritos and the tacos and they were absolutely fantastic. Talk about fresh. Everything was perfect. The meats were tender, the vegetables were fresh and abundant. The portions were large. The packaging was incredible as mentioned by everyone else. Such a presentation! We also ordered the Tres Leches for dessert. Only one word to describe it. Incredible. It was light, and refreshing and so tasty. I really have to start taking pictures of these meals, but we ate it so quickly, but the time I remembered it was too late. I can tell you that this place will be a regular spot on our ordering list for Mexican from now on at least once a week. On top of it all, the pricing is great as well. The only thing to remember, is that it is for take out and not a restaurant with its own signs or seating as others have mentioned. At least not at the Leslie location. It is inside the Firkin Pub (Goose), so dont get lost or confused.

Read the reviews and thought the food would be amazing, but was pretty subpar. I had the tacos and the guac and chips. The barbacoa taco was the most flavourful and moist, so that was nice. The carnitas and fish tacos were dry even with the sauce on top and lacked flavour. The chips were stale / old and had definitely been exposed to air for some time and were not great at all which also made it hard to enjoy the guac. The guac is very fresh but the HUGE chunks of tomatoes in it really throws it off, and I would prefer it with a little salt but others may feel differently. Packaging was very cute, but I would suggest working a bit more on the flavour of the food.

Got three tacos, slow roast pork. BBQ meat and fish taco. First two were pretty tasty. Fish taco wasnt that good, it seemed to be over cooked. The fish inside was dry and leathery. Id order again but Id avoid the fish next time.

I have to say I did not have high expectations going in but I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, the flavours and the packaging. If you love guacamole in your burrito but hate paying $4 for it (yes I m looking at you Chipotle) then this is the place for you! Well done Rico Burrito!

Picked up a takeout order from Rico Burrito and was totally blown away! Ordered 5 tacos and each was incredibly delicious. But what truly stood out? The packaging! The packaging was the good part of the meal. When it comes to the food BLAND is the most appropriate word. The meat on the burrito felt overcooked and lacking flavour. If the food could match the package this place would be the best.

Wow!!! Let me start by saying that this is a restaurant that not only provides amazing food but is also on point with the experience they provide their customers. I tried the taco mix & match trio of Fish, Barbacoa and Carnitas...as well as the nachos and guac; everything was phenomenal! These are no wimpy tacos. These tacos are packed with a generous serving of meat and fresh ingredients and the flavours were bright and authentic tasting. The nachos were plentiful and the guac.... aahhhhmaaazing! Everything right down to the packing presentation was beyond expectation and I loved the personal touch on the bag. I highly recommend Rico Burrito and cant wait to try the other menu items.

Unfortunately not what I expected. The presentation was amazing, but I wish I could say the same about the taste. The fish tacos had a re fried type of smell to them aswell as taste. Updating my review. I recently ordered two burritos and they completely messed up both of them! Added the wrong ingredients and forgot the others. Whole wheat instead of white. Excessive amounts of rice and over all bad taste. I don t understand how they can mess up an order that badly. Fancy packaging doesn t mean anything if you can t get the basics of the food right.

Called this restaurant and they said you can only do pickup, no mention of the fact that theres no physical location to go and get the food, and the website doesnt tell you either. So we tried to call back after and theres no answer twice. So we end up going there to order food to pickup only to be told by another restaurant that this operates out of that you can only order through ubereats. So we had to order through an app and wait, and we couldnt talk to anyone who worked there, only the confused waiter of another restaurant. The app eventually says the order is done and we go to pick it up only to wait another 15min because the food wasnt done apparently, again no actual employee to talk too, only a confused waiter from a separate restaurant. If youre wondering about the actual food quality it was okay. Nothing special, it was decent. All in all, pretty awful experience from this restaurant, the communication is horrible, very unhelpful staff, and there really needs to be a warning on their website letting people know.

The food has no salt at all, and an excesive amount of hot sauce. I mean, if you want to make your food a little bit more neutral, aim to pit a little bit more salt to make the food at least savory and put way less hot sauce. My daughter couldnt eat the food.

Ordered from UberEats and this food was nasty and stale. I cannot believe they even had the audacity to give a customer something like this. The fish tacos were 100% not edible as it was hard and not chewable and seemed like they ve been sitting out for hours. Plus it was 90% batter and 10% fish. The bbq meat & pork one was bland and tasteless, there was no bbq flavour in the bbq meat one. And the shrimp one was also bland.. no seasoning on the shrimp. Also they put way too much of each topping on the tacos. Needless to say I threw most of it out. I ll never eat from here AGAIN! YUCK

Foods great. I hesitate to order delivery because sometimes the experience is not as good as dine-in or when you takeout at the right time. But it tastes as good as dine-in, and presentation-wise its also good. What puts it over the top is the packaging and how they obviously put thought in matching the dine-in experience with the takeout/delivery. 5 stars.

These tacos were AMAZING. I decided to give this place a chance after browsing UberEats and I don t regret it. You get so much food for the price you pay and the packaging is so thoughtful and stylish. I got 5 fish tacos and each one was delicious!! They use good quality ingredients and food is tasty, I would say one of the better burrito places around. The issue is they make most things spicy and add jalapeños to a lot of items. Its a bad misconception that everything mexican has to be spicy. When asked to make food not spicy, they never do, it always comes spicy.

They should focus more on the quality of their food than the quality of their packaging. Their burritos are pretty bland... and the steak burrito use to be amazing with strips of beef but now its small chunks of meat the size of a pinky nail and barely any meat at all... Use to really like eating here Reply: yes you guys did have strips of steaks... thats the only reason why I use to like coming here, to get those burritos specifically

I am so happy to have found out about this restaurant. First off, the presentation blew me away! I adored the box set up for the tacos, the guac glass jars, the personalized note stickered onto the taco box and the take out bags. The fish tacos are amazing, as are the other ones I ordered, carnitas, barbacoa & chicken. The Guacamole tastes authentic and made with love just like the tacos. Some of the best customer service Ive experienced, hands down. Fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced tacos all put together in sturdy (very travel-friendly) boxes. On point. Have shown one of the best burrito bowls I have had. The portion sizes are amazing, the hot sauce is actually spicy. Evenly layered beans, rice and cheese make the eating experience worthwhile. We did a take out, was packed well and came with a sweet personalised note which was nice as well. The food was delicious looking forward to trying more stuff.

Deeeeeeliiish!!!! Best burritos and tacos weve had in Woodbridge!! The food presentation was clean, and beautiful. The food came hot and everything tasted fresh. We ordered a loaded burrito, three tacos, fresh guac and chips, salsa & chips and horseradish crema and chips. Then when skipthedishes messed up and forgot part of our order, they sent us the missing items using their own skip account and they included a tresleches dessert!!! EVERYTHING tasted amazing. AMAZING! The horseradish crema is our newest faaaaav. Sooo good. The tresleches did not last a minute . Looking forward to our next meal at Ricos!!! Thank you for the amazing food!

Came into Toronto for a Kijiji purchase and this was the closest food option, I was blown away by the quality.

I got the 5 tacos and chip and guac for two from uber eats. Sorry for not adding pics... we wolfed it down so fast. A few points of praise - The fish taco is delicious, its really big generous portion and nice and crispy and soft. Lovely - The packaging is amazing, their bag is really beautiful and sturdy and the plastic containers are really nice and can be reused for cold foods. - The guac comes in a GLASS bottle AMAZING! I rarely see business be that sustainable with their packaging and seeing glass to me is so nice because it can be washed and used. - The beef tacos are delicious, beef is flavorful and soft - The tacos are not overfilled , which means they can be eaten comfortably and without making a complete mess. (portions are generous) Recommendations: - I did not add any spice to my tacos cuz I am a wuss but recommend doing so. I found the fish really needed some tangy spiciness to counter the fluffy crunchy richness of it. So dont make my mistake and add spice if you can handle it. - The guac is really mild so if you like yours a bit more spicy or lemony squeeze some lime into it or ask for hot sauce on the side. Overall, Lovely first time experience everything was fresh and well packed with great attention to detail. Portions were generous and affordable, I hope to see this place grow. ... will post pics on my next order heheh.

This place is fantastic! The packaging is the first thing you will notice, which is beautiful! Ive never seen anything like it. I love how they separate the tacos! The best part, the food is just as good as the packaging! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

Had a great dinner tonight thanks to Rico Burrito. There was so much care and thought that went into the packaging of the food that I felt compelled to write this review. The food is excellent quality. For three adults we ordered: - steak burrito bowl -shredded chicken burrito -5 tacos (2 fish, 2 chicken, 1 bbq meat) -guacamole and chips and, -two tres leches cakes The best part of the takeout is that the tacos were not soggy at all. The bowl had a lot of meat which I appreciated. The tres leches cakes were probably the item we had the least expectation for and the one that we would get over and over again - would highly recommend you order this. I will order from this business again and if youre thinking of doing so, I recommend it.

I was very skeptical towards ordering from, but ordering from here was the best choice I made. I ordered a steak burrito and DAMN it was Good all the flavors went great together. I rate it a 4 stars because Not enough sauce to my liking. but I really recommend this. ps The packaging was honestly great and neat. I will be ordering from here again!

Shredden Chicken Tacos were amazing. Best Ive ever had. The only reason this gets a 4 is because in the steak burrito I ordered with it had basically 0 steak and was just rice. Tasted good when it was there though. Would order again!

Shout-out to Carlos and the staff at the Rico Burrito in Woodbridge. When placing the order, Carlos was great in explaining the variety of toppings that could be put on the tacos. We loved that we had the ability to personalize our tacos and even receive them in personalized take out boxes. The presentation of the food was great and the food itself was exceptional. They offer by far the best Mexican food in the city of Vaughan and Woodbridge. I m so glad I found this place! Fresh ingredients, amazing taste and incredible packaging. Had the chicken burrito first time. Do not recommend. Lacked flavour, sauce and meat. Ingredients are nice and fresh though, I can give them that. Decided to give them another shot and had the tacos which were much better! Overall very nice and fresh, but also very simple.

Very good food! They actually use real cuts of steak in their burritos! Cant over state how good the food is. And and the custom packaging the food comes in helps keep food warm and safe on delivery. 10 outta 10 would order again.

Barbacoa Burrito review- This place has the best tortillas ever, to me, tortillas makes the burrito. Great toppings, well balanced, few, but good options. Unfortunately, they forgot to add barbacoa, which broke my heart. To make up for it, the resturant refund me the money and sent my order again. Great people, they went out of their way to makesure I am happy. This place is my burrito go to now

Had a hard time finding the place because it s not under Rico Burrito. It s under The Moose. Packaging is really nice. My food came cold which was a bummer but quantity was really filling.

This place definitely needs to work on customer service. I love trying out new places and supporting small businesses especially during the pandemic but this was definitely a no go for me. I called to make a take out order and the person who I spoke with gave attitude, didnt answer the questions I had.. I didnt order from them and got Burrito Boyz instead.

WOW! I must say this is by far the best experience Ive had in a long time. The restaurant owners and workers care about you as a customer and the food that they serve you. I did order through UberEats. The packaging is clean, thoughtful and avoids any potential mess. The portions are fantastic, very impressive and the food is overall delicious. Ordered one of each taco (Pollo, Carnitas, Barbacoa, Beer Battered Haddock, & Camarones). I have to say my top favourite was the Beer Battered Haddock I love the way they packaged the tacos, very cool and organized. They even placed stickers to show which taco is which. Will definitely be coming back!

I ordered from the new one on Financial Drive in Mississauga but they don t seem to have a location on google yet. However, I want to say how impressed I was with my order! Packaging was very secure and even came with a cookie!! I was full off one taco! I was surprised. It was satisfying and very tasty. My favourite is the fish taco.

The tortilla was good. Other than that. The salsa was not fresh, more grocery store style. Chips were stale. My girls tacos didn t smell great either.

I was excited to try this place only to be disappointed. I and my wife just bought 2 burritos for $30. First off my wife bought the haddock burrito might as well been a veggie burrito took her to more than half way to have tiny pieces of fish. I bought the steak same thing barely any steak just packed with veggies, but what made it worse is that burrito ripped as soon as I ate it all my toppings spilled out might as well been a bowl. This was the first and last time I will buy from here again. Instead of focusing of the fancy packaging maybe work on quality control.

Drove 40 minutes to the Woodbridge location, and although the tacos were decent, they weren t the best I ve had and probably wouldn t go back for a couple reasons. 1) there s no signage at the this location - it s inside a pub without any indication that they re situated there until you walk inside, just made for a confusing customer experience 2) You can t order via phone/once you walk in, you have to order via Skip the Dishes or on their website (which was not even accepting orders during the time I went there) 3) fish and shrimp tacos were delish, but the carnitas/barbacoa ones lacked flavour. I think if they had set tacos instead of allowing customers to choose their own toppings, would ve allowed the restaurants to pair the right toppings to the right protein, as I m sure they know what s best. Fresh ingredients but didn t really give me that authentic taco feeling. Overall, staff were nice and the food was packaged well, but the tacos & ordering experience just didn t hit the mark for me.

The mystery is solved, Rico ghost-kitchens out of The Moose and Firkin location, so don t go looking for it in the mall. The burrito is pretty good and the packaging and branding is on point. I find their deficiency comes in ratio-to-toppings, but overall would recommend (especially fish tacos).

Meh. Its just ok. Noting really special or authentic about this place. Dont get me wrong it wasnt terrible by any means it just didnt stand out with its flavor or anything. Id compare it to any of the other chain burrito places only less tasty. The prices seem fine?.. There was 3 of us and we paid $50 for 8 tacos total. We were all full afterwards. By the way. This may be my new favourite taco/burrito place! They have so many options and they load everything up! The meats they have are cooked perfectly and have so many toppings! The guac is nice and fresh and the food is so nicely packed too! Definitely going to try the lobster burrito next time.

Ordered assorted tacos from here before and they were soo yummy. Decided to order again (only fish tacos) and the food looked so good but upon closer inspection - it was very bad :( I hate to leave a bad review especially for a cute ghost kitchen like this place but I unwrapped my fish and to my horror it was made of 90% breading and 10% old, hard, grey fish the guacamole also looked a few days old. Highly recommend you open your fish taco to see whats inside before writing that review!

Found this place via Google maps while trying to find something to pick up on my way home. Was utterly confused when I couldn t find the place lol! The presentation was fantastic and I walked out feeling like some sort of insider with secret knowledge . The burrito itself was amazing as well. Will definitely order from this place again if I m nearby!

It is a ghost-kitchen at this location. You might want to order using a Food delivery app for a pick up or delivery. 4 star for the difficulty to find it but the food is amazing, roght from the first bite. Will visit again. Also their 3 milk cake is Awesome!! Pick up is from The Moose bar and grill. The staff is very helpful.

A delicious dinner, they were very careful with everything! You can feel the love with which it was prepared, it was very tasty... I loved the detail of the cookie guys, my children shared it and enjoyed it! Without a doubt my favorite Mexican place.. thank you for everything, you are incredible!

Amazing food

Ordered takeout which was delivered to my place of work. The tacos were fantastic. The packaging/presentation were well beyond what I was expecting. And the price was very reasonable. Feels like a hidden gem and will definitely be eating here more often. Also- thanks for throwing in the cookies- it was a really nice treat and kind gesture

It was my friends birthday today and I wanted to send cake to my friends and I ordered one for her but I was disappointed alot when she received it $7 for one slice of cake also when I read the description of this cake they have mentioned A light,creamy caramel cheesecake laced with delicious dulce de Leche filling.topped with WHIPPED CREAM please look at the size of cake ,presentation and where is this whipped cream? Very very disappointed I will not recommend any one to try it(dont want to call it dessert.)

i ordered a chicken and shrimp bowl. it was very tasty, ingredients were fresh, flavor was very nice. i have no complaints on the taste or packaging or freshness but the portion size... come on. the portion size is an absolute joke! you guys need to seriously reconsider your bowl sizes. there barely any rice or chicken. the shrimp was fine and taste really good but everything else was barely even a full scoop of a regular size table spoon. like come on guys? the 1 star is for the flavor, it was definitely a great tasting bowl... but it lasted like 4 bites... ridiculous

The best burrito place my friends and I have ever been to.

Very deceptive. Google maps says theyre open for dine in, take out and delivery but Im reality there is no physical location you can go into to order or eat. You can only order online through uber eats or skip the dishes- which we only found out by calling when we couldnt find the place at the address listed. I havent tried the food but their communication is terrible.

Very fresh food and a well rolled burrito that shockingly didnt fall apart despite being stuffed. My advice is to get more sauce, ours were a bit dry with just the Rico sauce.

Second time ordering from Rico on Uber Eats, and we are very impressed. The food was flavourful, fresh and had a great variety of choices for toppings/add ins that were all included (yes, guac was free). Theres a lot of burrito places in the neighbourhood, but what really bumped this to a 5 star review was the portion sizes and the care they put into their packaging. Their takeout bags made me feel like I was being given a literal gift (which I basically was), their taco boxes were immaculate and the size of the burrito bowl was quite literally larger than my face. Kudos to all of you folks at Rico, we stan! Happy holidays :)
