We got 40 cupcakes for my 50th birthday from Caked Coffee in November and they were incredible. Super tasty and moist. Today I decided to bring my son in to get a couple cinnamon rolls (which in the past Ive also had and were delicious). But somehow this time they were dry, as if they were days old. These were certainly not baked that morning. I cant believe I spent the better part of $30 (price each ranging from $7 to $8) including tip for items I could have gotten from the grocery store day-old section. Disappointed and wont be going back.

The service at Caked cafe is top-notch! The staff in the front was Himanshu and the lady who made my Chai was Ridhi are friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Kudos to the entire team! Quality was really good.

I really like this place, the cupcake was very tasty and so was the sandwich I ate. However, Im disappointed that its not wheelchair accessible, since there is no ramp to enter. I have a friend who uses a wheelchair and cant enter this cafe. I would give this cafe 5 stars if they didnt exclude my friend, so Im really hoping that that can be changed in the future. Disabled people deserve access to delicious vegan food too! Wheelchair accessibility: Excludes wheelchair users from entering, as there is a step to get in and no ramp.

Edit: The owners responded to this review after my previous thoughts, my review was after they responded to my partner with a standard message, and then another message to remove my review from here - FYI, this is the worst type of Customer Service that one can offer. It is worth noting that we literally spent $80 on subpar, stale, and low quality food, yet they have the audacity to write us a standard message, (screenshots attached), about how they had a team meeting and got this resolved, and that this will not happen next time. Also worth noting how they have accepted the issue in the screenshots, confirming that they have filled in the gaps. Well, the gaps seems to have widened with such arrogant behaviour. We literally loved this place and were impressed with everything, but it seems that they have fallen off the wagon! MY REVIEW- There is a sudden drop in the overall quality of this place. The food was stale, including the blueberry muffin that we had. The staff was unprofessional. Very sad to see our go-to place fall down in terms of quality.

Hands down the best vegan desserts Ive ever had! We tried the biscoff cinnamon roll, biscoff cupcake, an iced matcha latte, and a regular iced latte with oat milk. Everything was delicious, especially the cupcake, which was super moist. The couple working there was super sweet and helpful as well. Definitely a great location even for non-vegan dessert lovers, and the prices are fair.

The snacks are so good, here! Especially the cinnamon rolls and the chocolate GF brownies. The staff are very kind and you can tell they love what they do. Its always a treat stopping in on our way to High Park.

Ordered black forest cake, not worth the price of $30 and lacks taste. Cake, its base and mid layers were hard, not spongy at all and I could literally feel grainy sugars like its not dissolved fully. Not sure how this place gets high ratings...

Best vegan food and bakery in GTA

We tried the dry rose cup cake and the mango and forest fruit jar desserts. They were not delicious at all. Also, the kitchen was very sloppy and did not look clean. The coffee was very ordinary. I do not think it is a place that deserves 4.9 points.

I ordered a Black Forest Cake for my birthday from Caked Coffee and it was excellent. All the non-vegans who tried it were super impressed, too! Ill definitely be getting more occasion cakes from here.

Caked has the BEST vegan cupcakes and cakes in the city. I ve tried many but they never hit the mark (i.e. found the icing too sweet or the cake grainy). These cupcakes are light as a cloud with just the right amount of icing (not too sweet) and the flavours really come through. Their mocha cake is MIND BLOWING! It s the best flavour in my opinion. The customer service is also incredible - the owners always make a point to greet customers and say hello even if it s super busy. Always try to support local!

I ordered two cakes for my birthday, chocolate and lemon blueberry and everyone loved them! I ve also had their chocolate ganache cup cake which was my favourite. They can do cute/trendy designs and also offer paid delivery.

This such a cute place. It is a 45 minute transit and it is always worth it. The staff and owners are always friendly and always so polite. Food is vegan, tasty, and just a great place, its why we make the trek!

These guys let us down by unilaterally cancelling our order on the day of our wedding, with no warning, notification or explanation. The order simply did not show up, showed as cancelled on Uber eats. We had scheduled the order days in advance. With the wedding in progress, we had to scramble at the last second to find vegan friendly desserts. Who needs to deal with something like that on their wedding day? Simply terrible service! If you need vegan desserts for a special occasion, I would advise avoiding this place.

Hands down, the best Chai latte Ive ever had!

So good! It doesn t taste like vegan dessert. My favourite thing on the menu is the biscoff cake jar but everything else is also delicious.

We went to a birthday gathering in the back patio. It was an awesome space for a get together. The owners were awesome and wonderful. The food was perfect. Ive been to caked a few times for their coffee and baked goods and Ive always thought of this as an amazing vegan coffee shop, but everything changed today. Today I ordered food for the first time and without a doubt this is one of the best restaurants Ive been to, I ordered the Bibi and with my first bite I was audibly exclaiming (luckily it was just me and my partner in the gorgeous outdoor back patio) and I immediately went back for a second serving and I asked for a cook/recipe book which the gentleman at the register quipped that its all up here, if they ever make one I will be their first purchase and I will be back to try everything on their menu and Im excited to continuing to come here. The best Lemon Meringue cake ever, and what might be less known is that the weekend special that comes with vegan butter chicken, chana masala, naan and salad is INCREDIBLE. Seriously the best butter chicken Ive ever had!!! I live too far away to come all the time, so one comment I literally said was it would be a shame to go my life without having tried the butter chicken and naan... And we were just going to get the cakes, happiest spontaneous decision Ive made for a while!

Love that they use no refined sugar or artificial colours. Really important for me and my family when we want to bring our kids to cafes or desserts shops! All tastes delicious Parking: Street parking is free on Sundays but you an expect to walk a little.

The service is excellent, but the quality of the cakes at the pricepoint given leaves a lot to be desired. EDIT: The review was originally placed ~1 day after picking up the order (#G2KH7KEV3RZQ6). I had ordered a blueberry lemon 5 cake. The particularly egregious aspect of the taste was the choice of sugar frosting used. It genuinely just felt like your firm run-of-the-mill bulk buttercreme - the kind youd expect from your average grocery store mass-produced cake thats expected to sit on the shelf for weeks. I was expecting something far more velvety (i.e. Swiss meringue).

Excellent cake. 6 layers. Hard to believe it was vegan, it was very moist and tasty.

The cinnamon rolls are perfect - not overly sweet. Refined sugar is NOT used. Im not a coffee drinker so I cant speak about that. A few tables inside for seating. Outdoor tables in the summer. Perfect location a block east of High Park along Bloor West.

I needed a last minute vegan birthday cake and the place I usually get it from was closed that day. I called in and asked if they have anything and they did, bonus the place was right on my way from work. I also purchased a cinnamon bun and had it on my way home. I have to say that both items were exceptionally tasty. Ive had many vegan cakes in my life. They often look great but taste like cardboard with icing of sugar and crisco. Not this one! Everyone loved it and was stunned that its vegan. I would recommend their cakes whether you are vegan or not. They are truly delicious

Met the husband and wife duo who own the cafe - he cooks the savoury food and she bakes the sweet! Had an AMAZING vegan quesadilla with homemade chick-un that felt like a Mexican/Indian flavour fusion. Excellent service, cute space. They have a daily special so will definitely go back another time to try the next option. :) Highly recommend!

Ordered a custom vegan cake for a celebration. Not only was it the best tasting vegan cake I ve had, it was affordable and was made in a timely manner. Staff were very kind and responded quickly via email with our order. I m definitely ordering from this bakery in the future. We had the vanilla biscoff cake.

I entertain frequent and gratuitous daydreams about this place. With gluten and dairy-free options of all kinds of ridiculously delicious treats, the only upside to Caked Coffee not being next door is that I can maintain a semblance of a waistline.

Wonderful place, We sat on there beautiful back patio, got the house lemonade which was amazing I ended up leaving my purse on the chair by accident didn t realize for a while then went back for it hoping it would be there and he had brought it in to his store for me and said he knew I would be back for it So grateful for that! Such Great genuine people! Thank you again for that! My whole life was in that purse!

All the baked goods looked amazing so I tried the strawberry shortcake cupcake and the cookie crumble cupcake. They were delicious! I also ordered a chai iced latte and it tasted like real chai, which is hard to find. On top of having such great food and baked treats, the owners are incredibly kind!

The best sweets I have ever had. I didn t even know they were vegan until my friend told me. I was going to post a picture of my purchase, however my family and I ate everything before I even got a chance. Their sweets aren t too sweet or dense which is what I find with a lot of vegan sweets. A MUST TRY, good job!!!!

Ive been here a few times and the food and treats have always been delicious. I tried one of their birthday cakes this weekend - the strawberry shortcake - and it was amazing! So light, fluffy and fresh with just the right amount of sweetness. I highly recommend everyone try Caked at least once, even if youre not vegan.

So, we were just walking down Bloor and I saw a 100% Vegan bakery with a Punjabi guy behind the counter! Of course I had to go in. I ordered a dozen cupcakes for a party - the kid is allergic to dairy. I NEVER like vegan baked goods - but these cupcakes are UNBELIEVABLE. 10/10. Seriously magic melting in your mouth. Definitely a must try this summer.

I bought 2 of their custom cakes for an office party and everybody loved them. Non vegans were shocked at how delicious everything was. Every time I visit the cafe the service is excellent and the baked goods are amazing.

I got a delicious cinnamon bun here and ate it while sitting in their back patio making music! It was peaceful and beautiful and they were very kind to allow me to still have my treat even after I discovered that I had forgotten my wallet! The cake jars are excellent, I got the mango and strawberry flavours and the cream on them is super fresh and tasty! Highly recommend! If they still have the rose milkshake and the quesadillas, get those too, you won t regret it, it s all so good!

Passing through Toronto and stumbled into this almost hidden gem. From the service to the food and drinks, this place exceeded our expectations. The quesadilla was unreal, not at all oily or greasy, the perfect filling consistency and the flavour was sweet, tangy and a little spicy. As for the iced chai, it was ideal for the hot weather. The chai itself was spot on and not overpowering to taste. Service wise, the gentleman who served us was beyond pleasant. Really sensed the store was a labor of love to him. Will/would return on our next visit to Toronto.

This was my first time visiting but it wont be my last. The service and food were both equally great. I tried the mango milkshake (10/10) and the biscoff cupcake. The cupcake was perfectly sweet and very soft. I would highly recommend Caked Coffee!! + Bonus star for having such a welcoming outdoor space.

This bakery is one of my new faves! I ordered a custom vanilla biscoff cake for my friends bachelorette party and had the pleasure to go in the shop last weekend to pick it up. The owners of this bakery are so incredibly nice and made great conversation while I waited for my cake to be packed up. The cake was beautiful, moist and all of my friends (who arent vegan and are very critical of vegan foods) loved it! I also got a piece of banana bread that was incredible too. I cant wait to come back for more treats!

I called a requested a gender reveal cake to be made, and shared what I was looking for. Caked Coffee was great and took all my input and created the most delicious cake - it was such a hit! No one wanted to share the leftovers! So happy that it was so easy to get a great vegan cake at a very fair price. Note: We added our own cake topper. Thank you for the wonderful cake and I will definitely be stopping by for more goodies!

First time trying Caked Coffee. I tried the chai iced tea and mango milkshake. Both were very tasty, but the mango milkshake was out of this world! Since going vegan I havent had a Mango milkshake/lassi like that. Would highly recommend!

Ordered a chocolate biscoff cake, the vegans and non-vegans loved it! Super moist cake and the icing was perfect, not cloyingly sweet. Amazing, definitely ordering from here again!! Edited to add: I have not stopped thinking about this cake since I had it, it was THAT good. I ordered another one for a birthday and when I was picking it up, I also grabbed a cake jar. I am obsessed. Well done, you guys!

Really just the nicest cafe around. The owners are so kind and clearly put love into the food and drinks they make. Im a particular fan of the iced tea lemonade which is made fresh and with lots of delicious mint. The cake is delicious too. The backyard patio is a nice little oasis thats worth checking out. Really nice family atmosphere - ive become a regular.

Im not a coffee person so opted for a adult choc milk (iced mocha lol) and it was really nice. Banana bread was decent, just a personal preference Im not a fan of raisins so that lost some marks for that but still its light, airy and has a good balance of sweetness without going overboard. Will try their cakes next time, they looked great as well!

What a lovely family-owned bakery. We enjoyed quesadillas and a slow-roasted tofu sandwich, such delicious flavour. No pictures because we devoured them in seconds. A Biscoff Chocolate/Vanilla cake followed us home and was a massive hit with the family. Best vegan cake to date. The owner was so friendly. Can t wait to go back. Eying up the Strawberry Shortcake. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I met for lunch at Caked Coffee and ordered the Bibi sandwich. It was so delicious. I can hardly wait to go there again. We also got the cinnamon cake and a few other baked goods which were excellent. The service was A+ and the restaurant small but cozy. I highly recommend everyone to go there. I will be back to try some of the other sandwiches but I don t know how they could surpass the Bibi sandwich.

This is a really wonderful family-owned vegan shop with delicious treats and sandwiches (their quesadilla is a recent favourite) and the best chai around! Their beautiful back patio is also one of my favourite spots for lunch in the neighbourhood. Definitely check it out!

WONDERFUL PEOPLE, SWEETS AND PLACE! Super cute and cozy little cafe with quiet hidden patio with swings. I live in the area and passed by the place often, and when finnaly decided to try a cupcake one morning they did not have a change from my bill and gave it to me complimentary! Since then I bought probably everything and brought there many people and recently ordered a cake for hubbys birthday and it was delicious and customer service is on TOP everytime! Favourite vegan sweets place!

We had the lotus biscoff cake for my birthday. It was good but the sponge was pretty dense. The buttercream was good not overly sweet. I will likely be back for the cake jars not so much a whole cake.

This is one of the best vegan places in the city! Ive been a customer since they opened and have tried nearly everything on the menu and it never disappoints. Its my go-to place for birthday cakes as well as desserts for other special occasions. Pretty much everyone who has tried their food, friends and family members immediately ask me again what the restaurant is called. My personal favourites are the quesadilla and the biscoff and tiramisu cake jars. The owners are lovely and the restaurant although its often busy usually has spaces to sit and enjoy your food. Their back patio is really nice in warmer weather. Excited to see how Caked Coffee will grow and change over time.

This cafe is absolutely amazing! We partner and I were visiting from out of town and tried several items - everything was so delicious, light but perfectly sweet. Even more - the savory menu was superb and the family running the shop was adorable and friendly. We smiled the whole we were there.

Great cafe for vegan desserts and small bites

Ive been here twice and it was excellent both times. They have a small lunch menu, as well as many desserts. I ordered the Indian fusion quesadilla, which was delicious. We also bought a chocolate/speculoos cake to bring to an event which everyone loved. The people working there were lovely as well.

Cupcake was mushy and my daughter who is used to organic/homemade desserts would not eat it.

We took a long drive out to Caked Coffee because we read the reviews. The reviewers are right the place is lovely and inviting. The owner is friendly, and the food is relish. We had the cinnamon rolls with vegan whipped cream. They were warmed and with a latte, they made a lovely afternoon snack. The cinnamon rolls were large if I wasn t so hungry I could easily have shared. We also bought cupcakes 4 flavours of them and more cinnamon rolls for the road. Best part: when we said we wanted to take out more cinnamon rolls, we were told a fresh batch is coming out in 20 minutes would you like to wait? We did and it was worth it!! They are so dedicated to making sure that their customers get the freshest food possible and judging from what we ate and from the cheerful way in which customers greeted the owner, they are doing a great job. I would be glad to return especiallly when the weather warms up and we can sit on the patio.

I had a Cinnamon Bun with frosting of Icing Sugar on the top ... My first Cinnamon Bun and I absolutely loved it... Reached while it was just closing so couldnt try anything else but Im so going back here to try everything... A blissful place for all the Vegans like me... 100 stars for this place .. Cheers

This might just be the best cafe I have ever been to. The brownies in particular are just amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough.
