Gelato and Cafe
Lovely cafe under the flower shop. Great atmosphere, local business, nice owner and staff. Coffee and cappuccino are delicious. Gelato like in Italy. Amazing addition to the neighborhood and I hope more people would come by and support it!
Such a lovely place. Joe is a fantastic host. The ice creams are absolutely unbelievable. The pistachio especially was truly pistachioesque. Highly recommended this place. The affogato was amazing
Love this place! The staff were so kind. They make the gelato in-house and it was DELICIOUS (I got hazelnut chocolate)! The space is so cozy and there was light classical music playing. Had a great time with a friend and would definitely come back. Bonus: Love that it’s below a plant store.
This is my favourite coffee shop in Toronto and is a hidden gem! The gelato is to die for and the cappuccino here is world class! The owner Joe is so gracious and really knows how to treat his employees, he’s so warm and welcoming.
Cozy little cafe. Service was friendly. Matcha latte and vanilla latte were good. Mango cardamom gelato was delicious. Bathroom was out of order though
What a special place. The kind of staff and experience that make me feel lucky to live in Toronto! Ricotta gelato, and the warmest vibe 🤤 🥰 must return for cappuccinos in the fall. Pups welcome!
This little spot has the best gelato I’ve ever had in the city! The texture is heavenly smooth and the flavours are *chefs kiss*. My favourite is the pistachio and ricotta - definitely recommend trying them in an affogato. The owner is the sweetest man too!
We loved the affagato and gelato, this time I got their pistachio one, it was so creamy, rich ans delicious. My husband ordered his usual cappuccino and said it's the strongest and the best one he has had in a while. We love the quaint ambiance and looking forward to our next visit!
Does not allow laptops or ipads
this cafe was so cozy! the service was super sweet and very welcoming
Italian Coffee and Gelato at its finest in this quaint little cafe nestled below a bespoke botanical shop. A special hidden treasure that must be experienced.
Hands down the best gelato in the city! Incredibly creamy, with bold, authentic flavors that transport you straight to Italy. The perfect treat every time!
Wow. Calm, clean, cozy, and welcoming. Moss Park Espresso is an earthy hidden gem under a lush plant shop. I enjoyed a chocolate dipped biscotti along with an iced cafe latte on a dark solid wood table beside an exposed brick wall while a classic movie played in the background. This small stablishment stays true to itself by offering unadulterated caffeinated coffee in glass and porcelain wares, displays of artists works for sale, and undisturbed ambiance free of laptops and tablets. They also carry gelato, which I cant wait to try on my next visit. Looking forward to it
Best gelato in toronto
Best gelato in canada with tasty espresso! Nice atmosphere and a plant store above, whats not to like.
This is such a lovely spot. Joe and his staff are all such gems so kind and passionate about everything they do! MPE has delicious coffee, of course, but also some of the best gelato I ve had in the city. It completely blew my mind, and I love bringing people here for their first time just to see them react the same way. Any variation of their house-made ricotta gelato is perfection to me so far, I ve tried ricotta on its own, ricotta with dark chocolate chips, and ricotta with candied oranges. I also highly recommend trying it as an affogato; it s suchhh a treat and can be shared!
The most delicious ice cream I have ever tasted. It is very fragrant and the coffee is delicious too.
Unexpected lovely Cafe with a great vibe. Wonderful coffee and delicious Sweets.
Absolute rare find! A must try! Best gelato in Canada :)
It s a small shop with delicious ice cream. You can try every flavor.
Affogato is yummy and delicious. Don t order two for two, because it s just too much. One is more than enough for two. Two scoops are huge and enough for two adults. Just share :) The place is cozy and cute.
ohhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this was soooooooooo creamy and decadent and yeah yeah yeah yeah $9 for affogato and 2 flavours! 50 min seating limit when it s busy
Absolutely! I visited Moss Park Espresso after a meal at The Spicy Ethiopian, and it was an amazing experience! The ice cream was superb, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner even gave us a private tour, which made the visit extra special. It s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a sweet treat. Highly recommend checking it out! Sisay Abebe
Amazing Gelato and atmosphere
Hands down the best gelato in the city. Nuff said.
Now it s my top pick gelato place in downtown Toronto! Impressed by the texture and the gentleman who made the gelato is so kind. lightened up my day :)
The ice cream was so delicious, Ive never had such good ice cream.
I actually had no idea that gelato could possibly be this delicious. The consistency is velvety smooth, like nothing Ive ever had before. Pistachio is always a favourite but try the ricotta gelato!! The owner is passionate about his gelato and is happy to tell you about his flavours and process. He mentioned that this one contains 50% ricotta, which didnt surprise me. Its so flavourful and you can really taste the premium ingredients. The coffee and other treats are also really yummy. I live an hour north of Toronto and I always make sure to stop in at Moss Park Espresso any time I come to the city. Parking: Plenty of affordable street parking near by
Yummy Gelato
One of the best gelato place in Toronto! Recommend the ricotta and pistachios gelato. Food
Incredible affogato at Moss Park! The rich espresso and creamy gelato were perfectly paired. The owner s always-smiling face and positive energy make the experience even more special. A must-visit for both the treats and the welcoming atmosphere!
You should have the ice cream
Such a lovely place, fantastic coffee and gelato, 10/10. Service is excellent, vibes are immaculate. Parking: Parking nearby is extremely difficult. Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: It is not wheelchair accessible.
The affogato has gone. THE WORLD S BEST AFFOGATO Food
Came here specifically for gelato and completely worth it! Soo delicious we got pistachio and hazelnut and love the atmosphere.
As delicious as the environment is chill. Had an affogato and matcha latte and oh boy was the gelato amazing. We will be back. Thanks so much!
Best gelato in town. Owner takes pride in his baked goods and gelato. Amazing!
Had an iced latte and their cherry gelato. Both were mouth wateringly good too!! Beautiful ambiance.
Good coffee. I liked their cortado
Its the best gelato and cafe ever!!
gelato is notably better texture and flavour than the cookie cutter gelato one finds in TO. friendly service and a very pleasant atmosphere as well.
It s a cute café! However, if you are planning to stay about an hour or more with a friend to chat, or work in your laptop or ipad, I suggest you to not go in this place because of their strict no-laptop/ipad and 50 mins. limit policy. I asked if I could perhaps work while I wait for a friend since the place is also empty, but it is not allowed. So just a thought for those who are planning to go here and work or stay approximately an hour, this is not the café.
Friendly service, warm atmosphere and delicious ice cream.
A quiet place to drink coffee. The place has a calm, relaxed atmosphere, they offer good coffee, well prepared, with good beans, good presentation. They also have pastries that are not complicated but have great flavor. Lastly, they have an amazing gelato bar, much better than other places weve tried in Toronto. The staff is very friendly and the only thing you should keep in mind is that they only allow you to spend 50 minutes at the table consuming, they do not allow you to work with your tablet or laptop.
Amazing coffee, amazing place, amazing service. Kindest owner Ive ever met. What a great experience!!!!
ChatGPT 3.5 Log in You Edit I adore this cafe. The decor, vibe, service, espresso, biscotti and gelato are among the BEST in the city. I enjoyed artisanal gelato that actually had the taste and flavour of its namesake. The owner is welcoming and his heart is in hospitality and providing a welcoming experience and products to savor and enjoy. The gelato is made in the shop. I enjoyed three gelato bowl: pistachio, baci (chocolate & hazelnut) and stracciatella (chocolate ribbon) ChatGPT ChatGPT I absolutely love this cafe! The decor, vibe, service, espresso, biscotti, and gelato are truly the best in the city. The artisanal gelato actually captures the authentic taste and flavor of its namesake. The owners hospitality shines through, creating a welcoming experience with delightful products to savor. During my visit, I indulged in three delicious gelato flavors: pistachio, baci (chocolate & hazelnut), and stracciatella (chocolate ribbon).
Hands down the best gelato spot in Toronto. I would recommend the gianduja flavour. Not only is the gelato amazing, but the owner is also a very kind person.
Best gelato in GTA
Seriously the best gelato I ve had. Ever. It is SO creamy and flavourful. The owner has the warmest smile. The whole cafe just feels so peaceful and homely. Highly recommend the pistachio and ricotta gelato.
They serve one of the best iced lattes! Gorgeous hidden gem in Toronto. Fantastic space in the basement level. Just note: Moss encourages people to unplug and enjoy your coffee and conversation. No laptops or iPads permitted.
Best gelato and americano in the city hands down. Walked all the way home talking about how amazing it was even texted friends and family immediately saying how good it was. Will definitely return worth the visit!!
it s the best place to rest and relax. not for people to bring laptop to study.
Absolutely flawless , the best cafe in Toronto. Owner s super nice and genuine and the gelato/affogato is amazing ! Food
I love this place!
The pistachio gelato was definitely one of the best gelato I ve ever had. The atmosphere was very relaxing, suitable for weekends conversation.
The owner is the sweetest man alive in Toronto! Dietary restrictions: Diary free options Food : 5/5 |
Best avocado gelatto in Toronto. It is super tasty! I tried also the affogato with orange ice cream and it was really really good. The café is on the ground floor. On the main floor there is a cute plants shop.
A hidden gem in the heart of Moss Park. The owner is absolutely charming and one of the most engaging people I ve ever met. The pastries are outstanding. (My favourite is the cannoli.) The gelato is to die for, with very generous portions, and the flavours changing regularly. The delicious coffee drinks are made with care and attention to detail. Tucked away under a plant store, you might miss this delightful café, if you didn t know it was there. It gets a 10/10 from me! Parking: There is lots of paid parking on the north side of Queen Street.
Good coffee quaint decor Friendly staff. Offers small selection of very flavourful gelato !
Gelato is sooo good! Best I ve had in the city so far. It s creamy, rich and not too sweet
Love the gelato! I have tried pistachio and chocolate so far and enjoyed them both.
The gelatos are beyond amazing! Chill atmosphere and warm service. A perfect place for coffee chats.
Joe makes the best gelato!!
Whoa. Wheelchair accessibility: Big staircase Food : 5/5 |
Best gelato place in town, love their affogato <3
Great cozy little place (not a ton of seating). Small selection of amazing bakery/Cafe style snacks and excellent coffee. No laptops allowed, so dont go here expecting to sit and do work.
I visited this cafe because it had a pretty atmosphere! The first floor is a flower shop and the basement is a cafe. The store is a little small, but there is room to sit and have a cup of coffee comfortably. It said no notebook, no iPad as if it was for gambling purposes haha.
Surprisingly amazing cafe hidden under the plant store. Very good desserts, tasty coffee beans, comfy atmosphere. Price is slightly above the average, but fully justified. Be aware that place has very unusual working hours 12-6, is relatively small (roughly around 5-6 tables) and has ban on laptops/iPads + recommends limit 50 minutes for table - its a good as cozy place to quick coffee with friend but not for entire day sitting.
I absolutely love this coffee shop. 10/10 EVERY time. The coffee is always excellent, the food is excellent, and the service is EXCELLENT. The atmosphere is lovely and I love coming to sit with friends and catch up.
We dined in on a Sunday afternoon and got the Pistachio and Gianduia gelato which were really good - Id give them a 4.5/5 because the texture was not as thick as I wouldve expected from a gelato, but the flavour was great, and Id rate the Gianduia over the Pistachio flavour. Note that its $6 for one scoop or $8.5 for two, and I believe the dine-in bowl is larger than the takeout bowl. Its a cute little store under a plant shop, and would definitely visit again!
It s the perfect spot to drink some delicious coffee and catch up with friends + upstairs there is a beautiful plant shop.
Awesome place and best gelato
Nice vibe and nice dual glass wall cup for the hot latte
Truly a great place. Staff is friendly and great quality service and food
One of my favourite coffee spots in the city! As it is my local coffee spot, I used to frequently bring my family & friends who come to visit. The lattes and cappuccinos are so good & my boyfriend loves their iced americanos. It is a cozy, quiet spot, perfect for grabbing a coffee & catch up on some reading. However, two things I will note is the lighting is extremely bright and slightly clinical feeling to the point it actually gives me a headache. The lights are very cold feeling for such a cute spot. Second point is the 50 minute time limit within the seating area, I have brought friends in the past for a catch up and to introduce them to the cafe and have been told politely that there s a 50 minute limit & to basically leave as our time was up? This in my opinion is ridiculous & also embarrassing even when being asked to leave politely. People I have brought have said they wouldn t return purely because of this reason & it s a shame because the customer service and coffee is great overall! They also have a strict no laptop policy which as a remote worker is a shame but I understand that to a certain extent as I know people tend to camp out in cafes all day with laptops and only purchase 1 coffee. But again, time limits on having a coffee? A little extreme and the only place in the city I have seen that does this. Hopefully they change this as it has put me off on many occasions to visit because of the time limit & introducing people going forward. I hope this changes in the future. But overall, definitely worth a visit to try their coffee as it s really good!
Papa Joe is an amazing person who makes amazing gelato in an amazing space!
Sunday 1pm. Hazelnut Chocolate Gelato Affogato Amazing little place, delicious geltao and affogato. Seating is limited so you may have to wait a bit if you come at a busy time. Definitely come back. Food : 5/5
The best gelato I ve had since Europe! It s the cutest little hidden gem. Can t wait to keep going back
Perfect!
Amazing place to get coffee. Very relaxed. Joe is a very friendly man. Will be going again, the affogato was great.
Good espresso and amazing gelato and cannoli! The owner is so friendly that you leave feeling special! The staff served a very busy crowd with graciousness and competence. You will want to go out of your way to stop here.
Beautiful
absolutely fabulous little gem of a cafe across from Moss Park, under a lovely plant shop. stopped in to find somewhere quiet to read and sip on a coffee was not disappointed. this is an ipad and laptop free zone. love that. spent longer here reading than i meant to.. but thats what happens when youre given a peaceful atmosphere. definitely coming back to try some gelato... and ill bring friends next time. :)
Gelato Paradise Found at Moss Park Espresso Nestled in Moss Park, Toronto, Moss Park Espresso is a true gem for gelato lovers. The gelato here is unparalleled, evoking the flavors of Italy with each creamy scoop. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch. A must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Italys finest frozen treats.
Loved this place..cozy cafe with perfect Italian gelato and coffees! The staff is super supportive and the owner himself is very sweet! Must visit.
Coffee was not good
Amazing food choices!
cozy place, good coffee. love the atmosphere! first ever cafe visit this year, will def come back
Amazing place of you want to try out their amazing coffee.
Friendly staff and great ambience
LOVE the gelato here. So smooth. Such a relaxing vibe
Moss Park Espresso is amazing! Their service is super friendly, and the cappuccino coffee is so good like a warm hug in a cup. But the best part? Their ice cream is like a party in your mouth! Imagine three flavors chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry all mixed together to make the yummiest treat ever. If you want a place where everything is just perfect, this is it!
Best cafe I ve ever been to. The gelato is absolutely amazing, and the coffee even better. Try the signature drinks.
Nice little gem of a café. Delicious coffee, yummy Italian delights such as gelato and cannoli. A must try if you are in Toronto.
Great coffee and spectacular service. The gelato was incredible. Coffee was robust, and made with great care. Overall, excellent in every way. It s a small, popular place. Once you enter the door (shared with the Plant Social plant store), head down the stairs. The atmosphere would have been great had it not been for the incessant bell of the front door ringing every time someone came in. It s the ONLY reason I m not giving this place a SOLID 5 stars.
Such a beautiful hidden gem!! Love this place and a go to for cozy one on ones!
Fantastic place!!! You won t regret stopping in, in the contrary!
One of the best coffee shops in the city. Joe is a great host and creates incredible gelato!
Great little gem.
It has a peaceful atmosphere. I had the macchiato and it was really good. The place and the coffee made me feel good.
Flat white and cappuccino were decent, although have had better. Staff were very warm. Disappointed and lack of menu - no mocha nor lactose free milk. Nice touch of lotus on the side.
I was working and I stopped by after seeing so many great reviews. I had a cappuccino with a chocolate twist pastry. Oh my! Joe is amazing and the cappuccino is world-class alongside the pastry. The cappuccino was perfect. I couldnt stop consuming it. And the chocolate twist pastry was delicious. Joe is the sweetest man. He made me feel welcomed. I enjoy supporting local businesses and this is one of the best places to have coffee. If ever I am in the neighborhood, I will be back for sure. Thanks Joe!
Amazing espresso, delicious almond croissant, wonderful ambiance. A place to enjoy coffee and chat with friends. There are 6-7 small tables. Not suitable for working with a laptop. Wheelchair accessibility: It is not wheelchair accessible because you need to use the stairs.
Cute vibe, it s bright & clean - staffs are friendly - drinks affordable
I found this place while taking a stroll one day and fell in love with it. Their homemade gelatos are delicious with amazing flavours. I am not a fan of gelato but I loved their pistachio flavour. Also, one of the best coffee I tasted was here in the city. I would recommend latte if you are a coffee lover but hot chocolate is also good.
Time does slow down when you head down to moss park espresso. Located just under plant society, they serve excellent Gelato (highly recommend the pistachio) and great coffees. The owner is incredibly pleasant as well.
Great coffee!
It s very cute & cozy cafe. The gelato here is amazing! So rich and creamy. Personal fav is the pistachio. The gentleman working is so sweet and patient. Definitely a must try!!
As you couldve seen, this is one of the extremely few places in Toronto with a straight 5 star review so far. Ive been going to this place for many months but totally forgot to write a review, so here it is. It is like an oasis in the desert, a place so soothing you would want to sink in, relax and cast away your worries. The atmosphere is naturally calming with its tasteful decor, and the owner, Joe, adds to it on an geometric scale with his wonderfully sweet and friendly personality; Beware though, he will lure you in with samples of his in-house made gelato, sorbet, pastries and desserts, along with a list of affordable but well executed italian espresso based coffee drinks- exactly like how he got me. Winter is coming so gelato would probably be a hard sell for most; but to me, it is definitely the best gelato place in this part of town. Ive had gelato in many ice cream parlors and restaurants, but even George restaurants pales in comparison to the delicious simplicity of Joes. If you are in the area, This is one of the definitive cafe of Moss Park, if not Toronto that Id steer you towards. Vegetarian options: has sorbet Dietary restrictions: has dairy free sorbet for people who cant do it.
This place is adorable and perfect, and I had the best coffee. Will definitely be back!
The place is amazing... definitely, a hidden gem. The gelato is delicious, the best Ive ever had and the service is super friendly
Amazing gelato. Had the affogato with ricotta and gianduja and it was a divine experience. The plant shop upstairs was very cool aswell.
Amazing experience. The staff is super friendly and kind. The gelatto is the best in town!
My favorite place in toronto! Joe can put a smile on your face Gelato: 10/10 (pistachio is a must try) Ambiance: 10/10
Amazing place and incredible friendly staff! The gelato was so creamy and delicious. Loved the artwork on the walls and the fact that it s attached to a plant store above. It also had an amazing selection of plants.
Cute little place. Prices are really good, just to sit down and unwind and have a good conversation. atmosphere is really chill. staff is really really nice. definitely recommend.
This cozy coffee shop is a true gem! The inviting ambiance, caring staff, and charming gentleman owner. The coffee and house-made gelato are divine, with rich flavors that delight your taste buds. During the summer, dont miss Affogato a heavenly dessert of two scoops of ice cream of any of their house-made rich flavours, and a shot of espresso. While it may not be laptop-friendly and not suitable for work, this adds to the charm, allowing you to fully savor the moment and enjoy your time and coffee. Vegetarian options: they also have vegan gelato (sorbet)
Nice little gem! Cute coffee shop with vet friendly service and authentic Italian coffee and gelato. Its cozy, clean and organized. Few food options but all very good The gelato is amazing and he coffee is spectacular. Highly recommend.
The best latte I ve had
I have been here since last fall. The owner and employees are so nice and kind. Everybody who will visit here should try amazing gelato. The price is super reasonable.
A cute little cozy place, yummy gelato, and super friendly and warm people working at this place. Highly recommend!
I m always searching for cafés that serve artisan coffee and I must say I wasn t disappointed by this place. This is Torontos hidden gem: a quaint coffee haven.
Joe is every bit a reason to go there as the atmosphere, service, and the canolis! He made it right in front of me and although I told them I appreciated the VIP service, Im beginning to think he treats everyone like a VIP. Kid-friendliness: There were teenagers on dates, there were two families with their kiddos (under 6yrs). Highly recommend for a quick hideaway from the busy streetlife.
We found this amazing little place by chance while visiting Toronto from Florida. The iced latte was exactly what we needed and made to perfection. We loved the ice cream and biscotti as well.
Best Gelato, Espresso and Cappuccino in Toronto.
The most incredible espresso shot.
Such a sweet cosy little place, wonderfully friendly
OMG the ricotta gelato was crazy good!!! Honestly, all their gelato flavors are super rich and creamy, but ricotta is something that you would never find somewhere else. I highly recommend! Food
Had the best experience at Moss Park Espresso, truly a spectacle in the GTA. Very warm and inviting environment perfect for reading or studying. Joe, the proud owner of the cafe, is a very nice and talkative guy who is an amazing gelato maker. The affogato was seriously one of the best desert pieces i ve ever had. Amazing spot in Toronto!
Lovely coffee, interior and service. Located in a terrible spot your safety might be in question really dampens the experience.
Owner offered to make me food even though sandwiches are not on the menu cause I was hungry, sweetest gesture ever. I ordered coffee and gelato and it was delicious.Highly recommended.
Just a wonderful experience all around. Coffee is to die for, the owner is just delightful and the space is cozy and lovely. Highly recommend!
Such an amazing cafe!!!Lovely coffee and gelatos made by Joe himself and what a lovely person he is!!!This cafe can brighten up your day anytime!!!!Went with my son and we both had a lovely time!!!!Will go there again soon!
Moss Park Espresso is a small but enchanting coffee shop that captures the essence of traditional Italian flavors. Nestled in a tiny space, this charming establishment offers the best of both worlds: exceptional traditional Italian coffees and heavenly gelato. However, the true star of the show for me is the chefs incredible talent in crafting the most amazing, freshly made cannolis. With a delightful ambience and these delectable treats, Moss Park Espresso is a hidden treasure worth discovering.
Amazing Gelato.
The best gelato I ve ever had - even better than what you can find in Europe !
We stumbled upon this place when visiting Toronto, and we had an amazing experience. They have the B E S T gelato, amazing cannoli and the sweetest most caring owner. You MUST visit this place!!!
If you are a coffee or gelato lover, you most definitely need to visit this cafe.
It become my favourite coffee shop in TO. The owner is adorable, so kind He allowed artists to sell their photos in the store and, this time I tried the gelato and the biscotti so good give me the chance to know this coffee shop has a unique vibe. Food : 5/5
A hidden gem with a super lovely atmosphere! Loved the coffee and gelato :)
Hands down best coffee in the city. Traditional European espresso and yummy gelato. Joe the owner is the sweetest person :)
This place was so great. The Gelato is masterful, the biscottis are amazing, the coffee is perfect and the service is flawless. I cant wait to go again.
The affogato here is amazing! I have tried all the gelato flavours, and its hard for me to decide which is my favourite.
Great cafe to stop by for some delicious gelato and coffee! The owner is super friendly, and the atmosphere is very calming.
Food

Good enough for the price
Great coffee and ambiance
Finding a good Pistachio gelato (ice cream) is my goal on all my trips. This time I found the Gem of it! Lovely flavours of gelato made with passion by an authentic Italian gentleman The chocolate one was delicious too looking forward to try the chocolate Gianduja with hazelnut. If you need any information about Tango in Toronto , Joe maybe able to help you too. The atmosphere is unique. A must place to try a gelato & I m sure an excellent coffee too The biscottis looked soo tempting must try one before going back home. It was a real pleasure to be there Vegetarian options: Plenty of delicious biscuits & gelato
Best latte Ive had in Toronto, Montreal Vancuver, and Calgary. This is place was realllllllly good. I do not like sour beans and this place was rich bitter and smooth. Thank you Moss Park Espresso will visit again when I am downtown.
The cafe is a hidden gem, it truly deserves a 6-star. It consistently impressing me with its amazing coffees, vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the owner, Joeys dedication to the community and artists adds a special touch to the cafe, making it the best cafe Ive ever been to. LOVE LOVE ;)

Absolutely love this adorable coffee shop! Joe, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy, and the coffee and gelato is fantastic! A must visit spot for all coffee lovers!
Awesome gelato and great service!
The best coffee shop I visited in Toronto. The owner has an infectious smile, and provided a lovely oasis of plants, coffee and gelato. 5 star.
This is a very special spot in the city! Moss Park Espresso has absolutely delicious gelato, delectable cannoli, and a variety of coffee and other drinks. Even better, youll meet the amazing owner Joe who cares about customers and lights up the room! Charming place, absolutely great experience! Well be back!
Excellent Hazelnut & chocolate Gelato, not too sweet with strong flavour on nut!
Amazing little gem of a cafe in the downtown core. Owner is super friendly and makes you feel like family. Drinks were tasty and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful spot to try out! Took my wife here and we are definitely coming back! We tried the Affogato with hazelnut and ricotta. Can t go wrong with anything here! Absolutely delicious! Owner is really kind and helpful. Love this place!
The pistachio and ricotta gelatos are the best in toronto. The server can t get any friendlier and he let us sample the gelato a few times :)). Their coffee are also great. The vibes of the place is also slow and calm and peaceful. Perfect place to destress and to relax. 10/10
Very cozy, tiny ice cream/coffee shop underneath a plant shop. Gelato is always fresh and it seems they change or add flavours weekly. The owner makes the best flat white. Food
One of the best cafes I have ever tried in terms of quality, vibe and unbeatable service
Amazing cortado and atmosphere
This place is a hidden gem, Joe is one of a kind; so down to earth and is truly passionate for this place. The macchiato and homemade ricotta gelato were 11/10.
I had really high expectations of this place. All the 5* reviews and the way the place was set up. Plant shop up and coffee shop down. Very cool concept. However, their coffee was not good. We had two double espressos which were burnt and the biscotti so dryyy and bland. This is not a good location if you like coffee.
Love the place, love the coffee
The gelato is wow!
Mediterranean experience.
A hidden gem, serving up STRONG espresso and possibly the best gelato on the face of the earth. Stop in and press pause on life, and enjoy everything this cafe has to offer.
Fell in love with their pistachio gelato, iced latte, and the sight that greeted me upon entering the café. Great way to start off your day!
Thank you Joe, for offering us, Torontonians and Toronto residents and visitors that superb Italian flavors and delicatessens. The canole is not to be missed!!! October 14, 2023, Amazing Ras Brownie ask Joe for it, to die for

As you step into Moss Park Espresso you can t help but feel a good vibe. Good selection of coffees and teas. The cannolis are authentic and freshly prepared. Purchased a couple for Christmas and they were a hit. Delizioso!
Amazing espresso and the gelato is just simply top tier. Owner is greatly knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
amazing coffee and ice cream
This place was very cute with great decorations. Also, we went in there around 5:45pm which was 15 minutes before closing and they did not rush us at all, the guy that was taking out orders told us that he will keep the cafe open until 6:15pm if we want to stay inside. So sweet. I got the affogato and the taste was so good, I got it with hazelnut gelato which was delicious. Anyways, in total everything was great here and I recommend this place 100%. We always passed this place on our way to work and I m so glad we decided to stop by this time.
I love this little hidden gem. The vibes be immaculate and so do the gelato, thank you for a wonderful snack we shall be back soon
I went there to test a gelato where I found the test of the gelato is fantastic and it is a very reasonable price. The place is very clean and the owner of the place is very, very wellcoming. He is retired, he year in Italy for one year to learn how to make a gelato. Which is I believe definitely he has a fantastic achievement, making a way different gelato. I personally recommend anyone to visit this place to enjoy his beautiful atmosphere and test his other stuff, which they look so soooo yams. This place is so special. It has a little small place to sit like 6 tables but. Its beautiful and his price is good ,
Microsaw was amazing. The atmosphere was 10 out of 10 amazing music very clean awesome coffee and the owner is an absolute gem.!
They serve the best Ricatto Gelato!!! Try the Affogato with a scoop of Ricatto ice cream - its unbelievably amazing!! The head of the Cafe is an adorable human, hes always with a smile & so polite!! Weve been here multiple times & never been disappointed
I had been told about Joe and his gelato by a friend months ago and I vowed if I come visit Toronto I would try his magic gelato. I cannot overstate how amazing it was! Absolutely worth the trip.
Best Gelato Ive ever had, the pistachio is so creamy and flavorful. Chai latte is not overwhelming, very good. Tried the espresso on its own, too. Espresso was delicious. Full body, with dark chocolate notes, not too acidic. Very refreshing. Best Cafe Ive been to in a very long time.
One of the coziest coffee shops Ive been to! The atmosphere was calm. The owner and staff were so kind (and genuine)! Would go back any day. Their biscotti was good, the cannoli was and their flat white was lovely. They played Christmas tunes too!!
