The Big Mary sandwich is my favourite chicken sandwich. However, this location consistently FAILS!! The piece of chicken is SO THIN, and as a result always DRY.. it s literally half the size of all the other Mary Browns locations I visit.. I m not sure if it s a Scarborough thing, but it s an embarrassment to the Big Mary name.. More like Mini Mary Sandwich!!!!!! Save your time and money if your looking for a proper Chicken Sandwich Go to Popeyes or Jollibee

Would give this place 5 stars. Had this as my first dinner when I was visiting from Chicago and the chicken was beyond amazing. You got to try this if your in the area!

On wednesday night I came in around 9:40pm and the cashier was very helpful as I haven t gotten Mary Browns in over a year. She recommended menu items that I would like. She was really helpful and provided great customer service.

What a disgusting company, I couldnt afford the combo. They made fun of me and the Asian woman cashier told me its Mary Brown policy to make fun of people who cant afford their food.

Just ordered the batters box on the skip app. Great value includes 6 pieces of chicken, medium gravy, taters and 2 biscuits for $21.99!! Its a nice big box loaded with the most juicy fried chicken. We also had the option of ordering half reg and half spicy chicken or you can get the honey bbq. Our order was fresh and packaged very nicely and taped for secure delivery! The batters box is a limited time deal, but I wish it was on the menu all the time! The chicken is Halal. The chicken was juicy, crispy skinned and not greasy at all! A win win!

I will never forget my Amazing Customer Service experience in this branch. Lauren the lady in the counter gave me a BEYOND AND ABOVE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I order a chicken meal deal for take out and she even mention a better chicken meal deal that is better for me especially I am buying a meal for my kids dinner and I told her if she could put it in a bag because Im taking the bus and subway on my way home and she even offer to put a tape on the bag to make sure that my food is secure and safe when I go home. I always love Mary Brown Chicken but its always a great feeling when you buy something and you get a good customer service.People like Lauren is an asset to Mary Brown and I hope the Managers will appreciate her kindness and positivity and beyond and above customer service. The quality of the food was great and the service was wonderful.

I wont be going to this location again because they give too many very small pieces of chicken. 5 out of 6 pieces were tiny and at $4 each it is a ripoff. Food

Dear Manager, please pass on our compliments to your server, who was amazing - polite, kind, and helpful. I didnt get her name but she was of African or Carribean ancestry, and our order number was 124 on 19 June 2024 at 1.31 pm I visited this place with my parents and one of my kids. The lady behind the counter was awesome, suggesting the best deal for our party. The food came quickly and brought to the table by the same lady, and it was yummy as usual. Clean place, with communal parking with other businesses, but still enough for a busy lunchtime. You just have to remember that theres no direct car access from Ellesmere and that you have to use a side road to drive to the back of the plaza.

We dined in and had a vey good experience. Very friendly and polite staff and delicious chicken!

The hijab I was lovely, was very friendly and patient with me. I zoned out while sitting and waiting due to a busy day at work and she brought it to me by tray. I wasn t expecting it. She was very lovely. I hope the rest of her shift goes well. :)

Overall pretty good chicken, wedges and colesaw. The only thing is they are not the most consistent in terms of seasoning and taste. Would still recommend.

Typical Mary Browns. But they have an employee here that never seems to put the customer first. They didnt allow me to use a coupon, and another time, didnt allow me to collect points. It stuck in my mind and so I avoid this location. Its extremely short sighted to treat customers this way. In comparison, at another Mary Browns, when the coupon didnt work, they still offered me a 15% discount, because they acknowledged that their coupon didnt specify the date it was valid. It was Mary Browns issue, not mine. Big difference in my experience.

mary browns mac & cheese and mashed potatoes are sooo good and one of the reasons why i go, but also the customer service was above and beyond. Sarah? Or Sara? was so so nice and catered to me! she made sure i knew what i was ordering and was super patient with me.

Good service but portion sizes have gotten smaller here and are now smaller than other Mary Brown s locations. At first I thought it was just me, but a friend also confirmed that they received a very small portion for their order. I don t know if this is intentional or not, but it may deter me from future visits to this location.

I came to grab some stuff last minute, Salma took my order and was very helpful. She was very warm and welcoming at 9:50 PM. That is something that needs to be respected and appreciated. She is extremely good at what she does and deserves a raise.

Mary Browns Chicken is the best around better then KFC or Churches Chicken . Only place we get our fried chicken from.

Hands down the best location in Scarborough! The staff are extremely friendly, professional and efficient too! The food is always fresh, and portions are always better than fair, I find other Mary Brown s locations are super cheap with their sides portions! I ve been there twice in a 4 day span this week and I received the same excellent service each time, the moral is up and it shows really well! The manager at this location should be extra proud of his or hers staff!

Bought the spicy big mary, nashville sandwich, and poutine. I used to buy from Victoria Park Location or the one from Bowmanville. This was my first there, and really disappointed with the taste and food. Both poutines were dry, just a little gravy. Chicken inside the sandwiches was so dry and seems like days old. I have attached the pictures for the reference and definitely looking to hear back from management on this.

I ve been coming to this location since it opened in late 2019 and the chicken and sandwiches here always tasted good. Recently I find the quality of the big Mary sandwiches has gone down slightly. But they are still amazing compared to other fast food fried chicken sandwiches and I still come here for their Monday special

Chicken was tasty

Wow this is literally the gourmet version of Popeyes. Customer service is excellent. They never rush you and carefully makes sure everything is as ordered. Their meat is hand cut in the back and feels fresh. The pieces are huge. To give you an idea, their chicken wing packs about as much meat as a popeyes thigh. They do not cut the potatoes until you come to pickup so that you can get the freshest piece possible. The restaurant is neat and tidy. Makes me want to sit down and eat. They have wonderful deals and secret deals that can be found on the mobile app. Did I mention they are HALAL?

This location has saved my stomach many times. I ve got food restrictions yet somehow, I m able to eat their chicken strips or sandwich. The sandwich has gotten thinner recently, but the chicken strips are good. Service is also very good!

July 6th National chicken Day was a Disaster ,seriously 1.5 wait for a special no good planing fire the Manager or somebody

The place was so packed and the waiting time was like an hour and a half, it s understandable coz of National Fried Chicken Day. We ordered thru mobile app and we had to wait for an hour, they missed one item and we had to come back, not a big deal coz it was so busy coz of the promo. Food wise, it s alright. Chicken tastes like a regular fried chicken, not too salty just a lil salty FOR ME, but well seasoned and cooked. We ordered the spicy and Honey chicken. Spicy was good, Honey taste like bbq chips haha. We also ordered gravy, it was a regular dark gravy. Would I comes back? Yes if there s one close to my place. I actually prefer it over Popeyes or KFC.

It s been a while since I last visited one. I loved it. We got the Spicy Big Mary, the Totars Poutine, the Cadbury and Banana pudding desert. Loved it. They ve re-done the interior, which I really liked because it used to look like a hole in the wall joint. Go visit one and you ll know what I mean.

Ordered 2 Regular and 4 spicy burger via Uber Eats. There was a BOGO promo going on. Chicken seems to be over cooked for all burgers. Its very hard to chew and dry. I had their burger long time back (before pandemic). It used to taste good. Quality has certainly dropped a lot. Dont think will consider ordering again. Waste of money. Only their gravy tasted good and fresh.

I ordered taters like I always do and a lot of the potatoes were bad had to throw out but took a picture of one! Never had any issues before but today it turned me off! Don t know how to upload the picture.

We got the Monday deal from here. Prices hv gone up for the Monday deal. Taste is ok for $4. Not worth the full price. Staff in this location are very nice.

We went for the advertised Tuesday special, but it appeared that the staff were completely unprepared. Long lines of annoyed customers, each being told it will be 20minutes before their chicken was ready. We ordered on line, had a pick up time of 2:10 but were also told it would be 20 minutes for the chicken. Definitely not worth the $4.99 Tuesday deal. Parking: Sucks! Really bad layout

Made Fresh from Scratch is definitely is how I described the freshness of the fried chicken. It was CRISPY and definitely JUICIEST fried chicken probably in my life! The staff were friendly but gave the customers the scripted line of 10-12 minutes. You have a huge line up because of National Fried Chicken Day with Two pieces of fried chicken and potato wedges for $4.99. I waited like 35 - 40 minutes at least give me a free dipping sauce or gravy. The manager should have been there to see the line up. I would like to see the extra mile you guys treat the customer so that they will be returning regular customers. : )

Honestly, I was a little bit disappointed with chicken here. I purchased the 9 piece feast which consists of 9 pieces of chicken, medium salad, medium gravy and medium tatters. I got half regular and half spicy chicken. Compared to other spicy chicken from competitors beginning with a P, Mary Browns is more spicy. Pieces are big but a bit in the dry side (not juicy). Tatters dont have much in the flavor side but you get alot for medium size and the gravy is brown gravy, nothing special. The coleslaw salad was average as well. Total cost was just over $40. Staff are friendly and helpful from start to finish of my order.

Tried Mary Browns first time yesterday and it certainly wont be my last. I had their 4 piece combo with taters. The taste was amazing and chicken was freshly made and made available quickly. Its great option to have if youd like KFC OR type taste and MB delivers on it. The chain is Halal as well. Krishna at the front was great as well.

Chicken is delicious. Taters with gravy really good. Prefer Mary Browns over Popeyes, Churches, KFC Didnt give more stars because they forgot my coleslaw grrrr... 2nd experience much better. Everything was fresh tasted great!

Today first time i tried their fried chicken. All of their food is halal. Chicken tastes good, the outler layer seems better than Popeyes fried chicken. Overall it was a good meal.

They are not HAND SLAUGHTERED HALAL. They say theyre bur i called and confirmed to maple farms. They play Dua on speaker and then use machine to butcher. Muslims who prefer hand slaughtered please avoid

Staff does not really care about mobile orders and they do not prepare mobile orders until you reach there (not sure whats the point in placing order through app if its going to take much more time than in person order) I placed an order with the Mary Brown mobile app at Ellesmere location on 21 Oct, at 7:40 pm, I went to pick up my order as per app status it was ready to be picked. But when I reached, I found out they have not even started to prepare my order, I had to wait for 15 mins and lady at the counter was very rude and she said it takes 20 mins to refry the taters. This was a really bad experience, I would request Mary Brown to please take a look at this location, as it happened few times now.

Very good cashier, a week ago I ordered from this location and the cashier is very helpful and smart, I think shes new but she has a great communication skills. Me and my friends always buy chicken at this location!
