The guy named Ade who served and welcome us to the resto was very friendly and approachable. They have big portion of chicken if you dine in. We did not have to wait long for our order. Food is fresh. Would recommend to friends and family.

Oh Nando s is our comfort food! It s like a joke in our family we have to bring anyone whoever comes to visit us to Toronto to Nando s literally it s their first meal here. From the juicy chicken pieces, to the starters everything is amazing. Side fact I LOVE their peri peri salt and peri drizzle that they serve with their hummus I always purchase extra and take it home. I would recommend trying their mash potatoes and garlic bread as well.

Here we go again... Since Calvin left, theyve started messaging around again. They skipped a perinaise when Id ordered one and put unripe tomatoes on top of the chicken. Waited ten minutes behind three people just to order, then was told a half chicken dinner would be half an hour wait. Walked out. Never coming back. Just lock the doors and tell us Uber Eats has priority. Ridiculous.

I was craving Nandos since the Oshawa branch closed in Covid. When I found it in Toronto it did not disappoint me. Everything was great! Please open in Oshawa again. Food

We were there on a Wednesday at about 8pm, so it was not particularly busy. A staff member seated us in the middle of the room, quite visible. We were not served at all after that for about 30 minutes, not even for initial drinks. That was rude to the point of cringeworthy, at least.

If you love bbq chicken and spice you must try the PERi-PERi Chicken Bowl. Spiced Rice topped with PERi-PERi chicken, arugula, roasted red peppers, corn and hummus. Great flavour and size for the price. Nice place dine in or just take out. Dietary restrictions: Meals contains allergen content

Cool vibe, great music, well spiced grilled marinaded chicken options with really yummy sides! My husband and I have been in Toronto for only a couple of weeks, but eaten out regularly. Nandos is my favorite restaurant so far, with food that is so much better than the price would imply. Keep it yummy, Nandos!

Had double chicken legs. Date was 2024 11 01. The chicken was not cooked through; almost raw near the bone. I did not complain at the resto because I was too pissed about paying for under cooked chicken.

i did takeout and they gave me no sauce AT ALL despite me explicitly asking for some. what s the point of buying nando s without the sauce? ruined my experience.

Carla supervisor she is really good who care about business, I was a bit upset about my order but she was so care about this situation and she made her best to make me glad, please take care about her, it is very hard to find someone who doing perfect job.

I do not recommend this place. You are forced to pay (and tip) before you sit down and receive your food so if you tip and the service is bad, there is no way to take it back. Our food took forty minutes to be served and when it came, the food was cold. We watched people come in after us and get served before us. We also never received any water despite attempting to flag down the servers many times to get their attention. We ended up getting the water after we finished eating. Overall just not a good experience on a day which was not even particularly busy. For how expensive it is, there are much better restaurants in the area.

They ran out of the food we ordered twice and their servers were very dismissive, never brought us water, and seemed to not care. 2024 update: hadn t been here in a while. Staff is still quite rude and food took over 40 min.

Food was a bit cold but good

1 star for the coleslaw. The chicken was a colossal disappointment. This is the worst location in GTA. The concept of marination is alien to the employees of this location. The chicken tasted like chewing boiled duck feet.

First time being to a Nandos downtown, loved it! Great seating, doesnt feel cramped. The fries were meh, and seemed like the frozen type, empty shells. Everything else was good. This Nandos is halal!

Service was great, but my chicken was missing the Lemon and Herb sauce that we ordered..our Peri-Peri fries came with no Peri-Peri. My family was so disappointed and let down because we drove 2hrs to get our Nandos and it was just plain old chicken. What a waste of our time and money.

The take out servings for the sides are very small. I ordered rice, please fill the containers and do not be stingy.

The chicken it s so good, but they don t have all the sauces of others locations, there was only 3 and I know at least it s 6 kind of sauces. I don t like the fact that you need to pay first and then you eat, also if you need something else you need to stand and go to pay, also you need to take the forks, sauces, napkins, etc by your own and go to your table.

My 10 year old son had been asking to go here since reading a novel where nandos was the lead characters favourite restaurant. Tonight after his practice I thought Id finally take him. I dont think it lived up to the hype. He was very excited when we walked in and chose our food... But then it kind of died off from there. It took 50mins from the time we ordered until we received our double leg meal with fries. By the time the peas came we had finished everything else. Peas for dessert!? I figured the long wait would at least mean hot food. Nope. Cold fries have to be one of the most disappointing things at any restaurant. I think the main issue is how busy they are attending to delivery app couriers. The front of restaurant is buzzing with non stop couriers coming in and all the servers attention is spent bagging their orders and getting them out quickly. The dining room patrons take a back seat... Wait to long, get cold food and poor service. Too bad.

Great place for halal chicken. I really enjoyed the special flavor of the chicken, and also, the sides were tasty. The price is affordable if you are a group of people and the portions are enough

Twice in a row they told me I can t sit at a table which is completely fine. Both times they proceed to seat other guest at the supposedly closed section. When I asked they said it would be rude to ask them to leave . But it was not rude to have a double standard. Great restaurant but they need to figure out their policy.

Highly recommended! Ive been a regular at this location for several years, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming, making each visit a great experience. What truly stands out is the level of care and attention they show to their customers. Just today, I accidentally left something behind, and when I returned, I was so impressed to find they had not only kept it safe but had labelled it for me. Their commitment to customer service goes above and beyond.

Really great peri-peri chicken!

Tried it, I can understand the hype around the sauces. The sides are pretty alright as well but the chicken is just dry and bland without smothering it in their sauce bottles. For the price they sell at there are better chicken alternatives, but again worth trying once to understand.

I got The big family platter. The large sides definitely do not appear to be large at all and they don t fill the containers. Previous orders have come with sauce packets or sauce containers for the chicken no sauce included anymore. Highlight is definitely the garlic bread. Definitely better experience when you eat in. Food was good but the value for the money just isn t there anymore.

The grilled chicken is very tasty, take the plain-ish with the nandos sauce on the side, you wont regret it. The peri fries are on the salty side, message to the cook, less salt ! Atmosphere - this is not a full service restaurant with a dedicated waiter for your table, you place your order at the cashier then the food is brought to you, just adjust your expectations when you come to dine. I would classify it as a semi fast food place.

Okay so I love my fancy shmancy restaurants and I love a trusty McDonalds, but something about Nandos being the middle ground just brings me so much joy. Ive gone to this location more times than I can count such that now the long-time servers recognize us. GET THE PERI CHICKEN AND PERI FRIES! Get the sauces on the counters (medium with garlic, extra hot, etc.). Get the mashed potatoes, garlic bread, peri ranch - basically anything you feel like because its all amazing! Maybe the ONE thing that Ive tried that isnt absolutely perfect are the wings because they are a little dry but everything else is fantastic so I wont fault them on that. The music is fun, colours are vibrant, service is fast, the chicken is juicy and flavorful, prices are sooo good, and the staff are wonderful. Although I may be biased because I love grilled foods and Id probably even consider this my go-to restaurant in the city, I know many others who love this location and Nandos in general so I know that its really just that great. Do eat here or dont - more for me lol but truly I would recommend this to anyone :)

So one of our dishes had a hair in it, peri peri chips were warm at best and cold at worst, rice barely warm. Chips were replaced as was the dish with hair. Overall chicken dry and overcooked. Went to buy another drink and then actively ignored by staff who happily chatted with each while I waited. Nandos staff are usually wonderful but in Toronto apart from one were positively rude and worst food ever.

Very disappointed with this branch of Nandos. If this was my first experience I would never go again. Apart from the young girl who seated us the rest of the staff were lackadaisical, rude and delivered poor service. The food when it arrived was lukewarm, my first plate had a hair in (see picture) which they replaced. The replacement plate had hot chicken, cold peppers and lukewarm rice and corn. Honestly we are a huge fan of Nandos but this was appalling. None of our party finished their food and we definitely will never come back to this Nandos in Toronto. The staff need a lot of training and would benefit from working with other established and successful branches.

Got the extra hot Nandocas Choice sandwich with Peri fries and it was fantastic. The vibes were great and the staff were so friendly! Highly recommended!

Had a good meal with spicy chicken, prices are kinda expensive for chicken and 2 sides but everything was well cooked. The rice was kinda bland so I would just go with fries or another side. Love the spicy sauce selections and the interior is very pretty.

I love nandos, the food is great.

The chicken is very good. The rice is seasoned with pepper, even though I ordered it mild. But otherwise its great, I recommend the periperi chicken. 50 Cad dollars for a couple with juice, coke refills and tip.

Last I had Nandos was back in Malaysia. Standard is pretty universal. Good food and service, restaurant atmosphere... brings back lots of memories. Dollar to dollar, price is cheaper here too! A definite recommend :)

We absolutely loved the food, the staff were amazing, we went very near to closing time, yet the service was amazing, really loved Gabriel s services very top notch and Food tasted incredible and portions were superb, took care of every little detail mentioned.

Good quality had tremendously gone down. The fries have changed to now being skin on which is a shame. The amount of sauce on chicken has drastically been reduced also which is terrible.

AVOID IT! Terrible how small the chicken is, I paid almost 60$ for two plates and I was still hungry because of the size of the chicken and sides which were really poorly made and tasteless this is not worth the money and the photos are misleading, you don t get what they advertise, NEVER AGAIN !

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Nandos Bay st. location. Ashu was the one who helped us. He was extremely helpful and struck great conversions with us. I highly recommend this location of Nandos not just for its signature chicken but also for its service.

This is definitely a location only thing because this doesn t happen in other Nando s I ve ordered from, but they ve stopped providing the hot sauces as a side for their chicken. Essentially if I order hot or medium, I just get the basted chicken. Which sucks.

Tried the 5 piece Peri Peri whole wings with Ranch. The wings were very crispy and loved them with the ranch dip. The Rainbow Chicken bowl was good with hot sauce but was a small portion for the cost. They give you 5 spice levels to choose from. Hummus with Pita bread was a good appetiser to start with. Also, not to forget the Naughty Natas as a desert to the meal. Rating it a 4 star for small portion size.

Overpriced mediocre chicken, small portions for the price. You d be better off getting a Costco chicken, a bottle of piri piri sauce and a fries for half the price.

It was first time to visit Nando s. We chose Peri tamer chicken with spiced rice and sweet potatos. It was good match with peri peri sauce but it was still good without it too

Nando s is definitely one of my favorite chain restaurants! If you love Portuguese flavors, this is a must-try! The ten-piece chicken wings combo is my go-to order every time! The grilled chicken livers are also fantastic, packed with rich flavors! I also recommend the grilled Brussels sprouts as a side, they re delicious!

I have been to this nandos many a time but please always check your order when taking out. I was in a rush and unfortunately didn t. I paid for a dish but didn t get it and only realized once I got home. I have emailed them but rather than trusting the staff to do their job properly, please check your pick up Order before leaving. Also I found it really uncomfortable for the female manager to berate the nice cashier in front of a customer ( me) . He hadn t logged in to use the cash desk and was using someone else s log in. Frankly not a big enough deal to say something to staff INFRONT of customers. Treat your employees with respect. You could have taken him to the side and given him feedback after the customer had been dealt with. People and their egos sadly.

Nando s Bay St was always a solid 7/10 dinner option but lately the quality of the food has gone down. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich and the meat was very dry. The Peri Fries were not seasoned properly (just seasoning the top of the plate is not enough, you need to mix the seasoning on the side and then serve the customer). Usually do not comment on the kitchen but since they have an open kitchen, I noticed one of the cooks did not wear gloves. And the wall below the exhaust fan looks so unpleasant. I visit Nando s only because their meat is Halal but I m not sure if I will return next time.

IT IS TERRIBLE. I got the take out from Uber eats. The outside bag was okay the sticker was on and I m the first one opened. But the food was ATE. Terrible food safety and terrible services. Recommend not choose unless you want finish some strangers leftovers after fully paid.

Food was well packaged in cute little boxes. Portions looked small but were actually quite filling and reasonable for the price. Delicious and well seasoned. The Mac n cheese was amazing! The pulled medi fetti was a little salty with the excess feta cheese and could have been a little spicier. Will point out that Nandos gave us an extra chicken leg on top of our order - grateful for the service and speedy delivery!

We decided to dine in here at Nando s downtown since it was my first time to eat here (we were regular customers at Nando s near Queen and Bathurst before it was officially closed). So we ordered a Jumbo Chicken Platter ($79.99 plus tax).The manager CARLA who was in charge of one of the POS (the one with a light blue uniform and ponytail hair) was very rude. We felt discriminated against because of how she approached and treated us at the counter while we were placing an order at the counter (she told my partner to go on the side and she assisted first the customer next to us) and when it was our turn she was very rude on how she placing our orders on the POS. Just because of we do not dress well (wearing shorts and t-shirts) is that how you treated us like we can t afford to buy food here? Is that how you treat customers based on customer s appearances? Also, the chicken was dry and burned. Garlic toast tastes bitter. We pay for what we are expecting and it s not worth it

DISAPPOINTED As a loyal customer of Nandos, I was excited to visit the Bay St. location specifically for the convenience of enjoying a variety of Coca-Cola beverages through the Freestyle machine. I checked the coco cola website. They said you have it. I called ahead before coming. A host confirmed that it was available and working. However, upon my visit yesterday, I was dismayed to discover that the Freestyle machine was not available. This false information not only misled me as a customer but also resulted in a significant inconvenience during my dining experience. As a consumer, I value transparency and honesty from businesses, especially when it comes to the accuracy of amenities and offerings. Other than that, my dining experience was very positive. There was a bit of an issue in taking the order, owing to technical issues with the points reward system. We got a great table. The food arrived on time and hot. But whats funny is that I remarked to the team member about the missing machine. He pointed to the fountain drinks dispenser and said that that was the coca cola freestyle machine. And finally, do you whats really funny? That the POS system still has a line for the Freestyle qr code! Update 1: you mean contact Katie Barlow? I did that a few days ago! Update 2: so after everything, Nandos customer service is no where to be found. Maybe I should look in Lost (customer) and found (disappointment)

I really loved nandos until I actually went there in person and after putting in an allergy order as I usually do, my sides were brought out and I was told to wait 10 more minutes for my chicken, after 10 minutes I get told after 10 minutes, and finally after 15 more minutes and my sides being cold, my chicken is brought to me. They compensated me with a free dessert but after I asked them to check if its gluten free I got no assurance or help.

Great price and great food. They grill the food right there and you can taste everything is fresh. The sauces are amazing and the interior is beautiful.

I have always placed my order with them on DoorDash for delivery. Today, I placed an order for pickup and got a notification the food was ready and actually being here for the first time .an absolute mess!! I have never seen such dysfunction in a food establishment. They re extremely busy and what they should have did was pause their food delivery service in order to give the kitchen a chance to catch up on their orders. I m literally watching tables get up and ask when their food is coming and realized they have no regards for service or customer service. The main goal is too push out orders. Great food but extremely disappointing.

been coming to this location for years. It s been a little while since I last came but omg the Mac and cheese on the menu is a delightful addition. The mash and fries are always a hit and the chicken breast with medium sauce is my fave (sandwich or wrap). I even keep the medium sauce stocked in my kitchen at all times. We need more locations in the city!

I had time to write my opinion between the end of my dish and the serving of my friends dish, how bad the service was lnnnnnnnnnt. 1 hour wait for a friends dish, if you could kill the chicken before we arrive that would help us all. The chicken is grilled and good, several levels of spiciness, the medium is very medium. The chicken wrap is good but I recommend the solo chicken with braised leg. Little rat tips, the fountain is free when you take the free water. PS: the waiters were nice and helpful.

The service is deplorable, fine if you can call it service... There were 6 of us, 2 people were served after 20 minutes, 3 others after 40 minutes and the last one after 1 hour. We asked for our food several times and were always told it was coming. Ah yes it s happening but in the slowest way possible. Its unpleasant not to eat together when thats the point of going to a restaurant. Fortunately they are still friendly. No excuses were made, just as soon as possible .
