Reasonably fast service, yummy chicken sandwich and generally courteous. They have, on occasion, given me spicy chicken over mild chicken. Check your order before you leave. A notice to Popeyes and the owner of this franchise, INSTAL AN AIR CONDITIONER! Your staff has every right to work in a safe and healthy environment. Id like to see the powers that be work alongside hot oil fryers all day, all week, all month and all summer long. Its no wonder mistakes on orders occur.

Okay, lets get this straight. Three thighs and one leg in a four-piece meal is not acceptable. And worse yet, they forgot my mac and cheese.

Previously, this Popeyes used to be amazing. However, under their new management, it s really awful. You will stand there waiting for your food for 20 minutes while you watch the people in the kitchen standing there on their phones or just looking completely confused talking to each other. As well, you will be midway through making your order and then the person on cash will start having another conversation in a different language when you didn t even finish your sentence. Unfortunately this is not a one off situation. I have stopped coming here for lunch because it is just a huge waste of my 30 minutes. Whenever I go to this Popeyes, I always end up coming back late to work from my break because of how this restaurant runs. Also, when you re getting your friends to leave a bunch of reviews for your business, try to make sure they aren t all within the same week because it s overtly obvious. This is not a 5 star worthy popeyes.

Popeyes gets a big thumbs up from me! The location was perfect, the food was super fresh and flavorful, and the service was top-notch. Definitely recommend!

Took over 20 mins for order to be processed

Ive been coming to this Popeyes for over a year now. It feels like the service has deteriorated over the past couple of weeks. I know other reviews have mentioned how it took them 20 mins, but it happened to me too. That shows that on average, it takes them a long time. When you come back after the gym exhausted and tired, 20 mins feels really long. This is supposed to be fast food, not slow food. As for the atmosphere, something about the place does not feel very welcoming. I know theres not a lot of room to work with and theres an upstairs, but the main area feels somewhat crowded, especially with the stools by the stairs (very cramped). Sometimes the area upstairs is a mess, the tables are not clean and the chairs are everywhere. Food is good though, no complaints on that end.

THE WASHROOMS ARE CLOSED and have been since late 2019, and havent at all re-opened for public use. STAFF-ONLY. The last time I was there, I asked why the washrooms were locked. The answer I got was they are for staff only. What is the point of not having washrooms for customers, especially if theyre dining in and not just ordering take-out? No other business has done this.

Such a rude server. The Indian lady in the front is extremely rude. The way she spoke to me and two old Chinese ladies after me was very revolting. I have never seen anyone in fast food joint as rude as the Indian lady. I thought she was only rude to me but then I stayed around and saw she is very rude to other customers as well. I hope she gets fired and her job is given to someone more deserving.

Walked in this location today because my cousin and I were craving for the fried chicken thighs. Our appetite was gone immediately though as the smoke in the kitchen was out of control. There was a terrible smell of burnt oil on the 1st floor and the entire space was looking like it had an early morning fog. Im wondering if they packaged that overdone chicken to someones meal, or they disposed it right away? On a couple occasions, I got chicken pieces that were extremely dry and oily.

The worst chicken Ive had from a Popeyes

Customers beware. Stay away! This must be the worst Popeyes location in the entire Toronto. Enter this dingy store and get your visual and olfactory senses assaulted by the grimy floor that has yet to see a mop, and a morgue like stench in the air. Proceed to the cash register to be served by a bad-tempered cashier who acts super annoyed that you dared to enter his beastly cave. Wait 15 min for your order, even though you are the only customer there. Get your three people order served mountain -style on ONE. I noted to the cashier that there were three of us and we needed THREE trays, he was annoyed but fulfilled this simple requirement. Enter the second floor of the restaurant where the seating/dining area is and feel your skin prickle- it is freezing up there. It feels as though there is no insulation or heat up there, this area probably serves as a freezer overnight to keep the meat. If you need to wash your hands, proceed back downstairs on the rickety stairs to ask for a code. Come back upstairs only to find the code does not work. To summarise, it was cold, unfriendly and the extremely dirty.

Previously had reasonable food and service from this site but this evening given cold fries, knowingly, by staff. Pretty pathetic. Suggest avoid.

Not only I waited 20+ minutes for chicken meal and cream cheese pie, all the customers ahead of me were served. I did hear them messing up the order at kitchen fryer and nothing as apology. Cherry on the top, chicken was UNCOOKED!

The served old rotten food. It was so bad it had a strong smell but the server couldnt tell until I pointed it out. They did refund me but thats not the point.

Very generous portions of chicken fries and sides. In my opinion best value of any fast food place. Especially these days.

Bought 4 pc chicken with coleslaw siding, a biscuit and a drink. I just love Popeyes chicken - with its crispy skin and moist and tender meat, so delicious and well seasoned. We also bought the strawberry and cream cheese pie another favourite of ours with its crunchy dough and just the right sweetness of the filling to satisfy my sweet tooth. This location has a second floor where you can dine in and enjoy the hot food served fresh.

The service is extremely mediocre and they do not take their jobs seriously. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo, and it took them 25 minutes to prepare my food. The location is small and cannot maintain an average amount of customers. Ridiculous.

Very greasy fries. Had to re-heat in oven to make edible. Shrimp was a ghastly over coating, very little shrimp. Chicken breast gets a 6, as it s tasty but greasy.

the young lady at the register always makes sure to never pack napkins for me. Id also like to mention the fact that it takes on average 10-20 minutes to make my food with such a small order and not a lot of people there.

I had ordered from this location, previous and a few times. When you do takeout order and you just order the chicken, make sure you check what they give you because couple times all they give you are the legs.. but they charge per piece in the expensive pieces! The servers there I don t know why are very stingy. The last time I was there, I was with my son, and we decided to dine in. First of all the tables are always oily and greasy.. we decided to sit in the main floor because there s stairs and we have a stroller. I had asked the server on Sunday, July 9 at 2:20 PM to provide me with more napkins because she only put three in our bag. I wanted to clean the table so my son and I can eat. She then only gives me one napkin with a dirty look. I also asked for a fork, and it was like I was asking for gold, another dirty look. She then tells me to go eat upstairs..??!! So that bothered me. I fed my son first because that s my priority. He was hungry but that server did not sit with me well. She was just standing around, not even doing anything she could ve been tidying up or something. I told them that I would make a complaint and that we should have a better communication with people who work there because I remember explaining it to her and that she shouldn t be telling me to go upstairs while I have a stroller and she probably should ve helped clean the table or provide me more napkins even! But she looked at me as if it was my fault, and she goes to the back and starts laughing with the cook looking at me. I did send a request case for complaint because the people that work there need to understand the relationship between customer service and the business, if they want to keep people happy. If they just are there to work just to work and make the money and not care, well it would bite them back by customers like me who pay a lot of money and complain on them. They will learn the lesson somehow The chicken is great, it s just a Service sucks. You have other franchises that have such amazing service and keep the restaurant and tidy and clean..

OK, so this is a fast food restaurant, But they really have good food! The chicken is nicely done, not too greasy, and they have some good seafood choices. Staff tends to be quite accomodating. Recently, I had to wait for an order and they gave me a free soft drink while I waited.

Not a single time the order was ready by the time I went there for pickup!! NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE TIME!

Its supposed to close at 2 am, I arrived at 1:30 am and the guy in the store told me that its closed, why they dont respect the hours they have on Google instead of making people go to the place. I will never come back when a place is not respecting the schedule time and the staff answer you so rude.

Bought a 3 piece combo here and the chicken still had blood in it. So we decided to go back and get it replace (which took 30 extra mins) and then when we got the chicken that was replaced. Which they said it was freshly cooked, there was still blood in the freshly cooked chicken.

Placed an order through Skip, I ordered the sweet and spicy wings (way more expensive than the regular ones), and I received the regular ones. I also came to find out that ALL of the chicken in my order was undercooked, all of it had the blood inside still or it was pink. This genuinely ruined my night and I will never be going to this location. Out of frustration I called and the person who picked up tried to justify it by saying they added the sweet heat sauce packets, which werent even close to the same. The fries were burnt. They said they were too busy to call me but those wings were the reason I placed the entire order. This was my experience and it was not a good one.

Location Says open til 1:30am on Sundays. Drove down and entered restaurant at 12:30am. Told the kitchen is closed! First and last time visiting this location. Terrible service update your hours if your going to close over and hour early.

Ordered takeout from here yesterday. There were two employees and neither of them wore gloves while handling food. Don t recall if they even wore a hairnet. Weren t even courteous. It gave a very unhygienic feel. The food was decent. I hope they change their processes.

Food portions are often far too small. Atmosphere is chaotic. They never have enough staff and those poor kids are underpaid and overworked. Churches is down the street and has better food for cheaper and they give you more. If you look at my picture the drumsticks are the size of a finger.

I came inside however I needed to quickly use the washroom before purchasing food. The lady then said I need to buy something in order to use the washroom which I did agree but she continued to integrate me disrespectfully. I finally bought something before going to the washroom. Overall the service is a 0/10 and the washroom was very filthy, would not recommend at all.

I came to this resturant on 12/03/23 and the Indian lady with boots taking orders, messed up our order. We ordered Popeyes Signature Spicy wings, and she gave us ghost pepper wings instead. We told her about it, and she said nothing I can do. She said we don t have it. If you don t have it why not tell us? We d go somewhere else; wasted our time and money here. I will never be back here again. Please follow up with your employees. Thank you.

I went to buy the classic chicken sandwich combo but I had to wait quite a while for my item, they didnt even care about my order, then I told the girl to take my order, she acted quite normal, after a while she brought my stuff out, with a small burger and some meat, with fries in oil, advised people not to go to this place, horrible and bad place.

Popeyes is good but this location needs to change their oil. The fries and chicken is WAYYYYYY to greasy I can t eat it. It was served to me on a greasy napkin with grease all over the wrapping. Also food is never ready to order. I always have to wait for them to start from scratch taking 10 minutes.

Just ordered a 3 peice combo, got home and I have a 3 peice of chicken strips and thats it. Costed me 11 dollars for 3 peices of chicken with no sides or drink. What out for the service.

Check your bags if ordering takeout before you leave!!! I ordered on Ritual (20 mins before picking up this order, so gave them ample time) 1 chicken platter, instead of mashed potatoes they just gave me gravy. 1 tenders platter, I ordered 1 blackened ranch sauce and an extra bbq sauce and the only gave one sauce. They also didn t pack the biscuits and said I had to wait for new ones since they only had one left.

There was a homeless person begging for food in the store who was clearly high. They tried to rob a young couple and asked a customer to go out with her. The manager and employees stood there laughing while not doing anything. The worst customer service I have ever seen.

This Place was very bad they messed up on my order my Son wanted none Spicy Chicken Tenders and every one of his Tenders was Spicy I even asked her and she said yes they are None Spicy.. We went home and my Son couldnt even eat it they were all Spicy.. An I wanted over 20 mins for my orders I will Never go back to that Popeyes again thats for sure...

The wait time was decent, the lady had a good attitude but the lack of memory is questionable. At the time it was not busy I had asked for extra fries and no biscuit. In the picture you can see a biscuit and barely any fries. I do not live near this location so I was not able to go back, I tried calling the restaurant and no answer. I am very disappointed that with prices being raised THIS the amount of fries that is given in a regular combo is the amount for a young child. Not to mention the biscuit was hard as if it were sitting there for a few hours. Super disappointed
