I got 2 pieces of spicy chiken the test was not good the chiken test like not fresh at all

The Popeyes bonafide chicken taste was good and the spicy chicken wings are delicious .

The lady serving us (orange hijab) was genuinely the nicest person with the best customer service we ve recently experienced- which isn t what you d expect from a Popeyes but yet it was so! Speaking to her felt like going on a quest.

This franchise owner should have his this store taken away from him !! You can tell he s super cheap ! You walk in, barely any ac on, all of the booths and chairs are ripped and have duct tape on them ! Buy new chairs !!! This is your establishment, have some pride ! Oil is old, had that old oil taste and because of it, everything tastes gross .When you order a combo, they barely give you any fries. That s the problem nowadays with these franchise owners, if you re going to buy a franchise, do it properly or don t do it at all!

This branch on Danforth has maintained a high standard of food quality over the year I was living near it. It was the best thing when I was tired and needed something fast a yummy

The ladys and the cook are very good and understand they are always happy and ready for you they keep the place clean and tiddy the ladys are always fast and make every order right and also tell you the deals of the day and any combos that you would like thanks ladys your boss should be really happy he has a good team. Wanted to try their wings for a while now. Ordered the signature hot. Wings were drowned in sauce, small and mushy. Wont order again. Dissapointing coming from Popeyes.

The chicken thighs were so juicy.. i wanted to cry. The meat on the drumstick was very thick and fat. Youbknow.. chunky chickens peri peri is no match. Yet alone Safas fry chicken. If you want thick and juicy, this is where to come get juicy chicken. The server was very approachable and catered to my menu specifications quite well. I requested for good chicken.. se said.. Ill give you good juicy fry chicken i waited maybe 3 -4 minutes.. and I got nice thick juicy juicy chicken. The best . I saw there was a few skinny drumsticks.. but they made sure to use the tongs to seperate from the good quality and the least desirable. This will be my number one juicy chicken place. Ill add this also.. the drumsticks are the best... I usually like to test good drum stick by tasting and sucking the bone.. and then making my way to the meat part. All i can say is .. the drumsticks are very juicy. I love it.. very thick

Ordered chicken, wow, got the 2 chicken sandwiches and 8 nuggets over 20 minutes later, with no warning of a long wait time. Asked for a coke zero, saw the cashier fill up my drink, I asked her if its coke zero, she says yes, confirmed it was normal coke with the manager.... Normally love Popeyes, hated this experience.. Sorry girls, but this review is for you...

This Danforth location has restored our faith in Popeyes. We talked with Bhoomika on the phone as we had a couple questions prior to ordering. Bhoomika was very nice and polite. She followed our introductions perfectly. The food and service from this location was excellent. Thank u Bhoomika for ur excellent service. We will only order from ur location in the future. Our last two orders prior where from the Kingston Rd location and they where terrible.

This location is horrible. Stay away. Furniture is badly ripped and unsightly, which makes it very uncomfortable. Upkeep in cleaning was horrible.

Extremely unprofessional staff. Had to wait 30 + minutes to get my order. Fast foods are meant to be fast paced but waiting 30 minutes for a take out order on off peak hour is not acceptable in any means.

You can try ordering ahead, good luck getting anyone to acknowledge you when you get inside the store(later than the order stated)...and then you can wait for them to prepare your order

The Indian female employee at the register is very rude and unprofessional, she gave us old fries that were limp and not fresh and were clearly fried in old oil, and she charged an extra dollar for what we ordered from the original price. The original price was $4.99, but she changed it to $5.99 .

I got the 2 piece combo it was horrible and my stomach went upset.

Bikes are not allowed. Seriously ? It was just a matter of a take out which would hardly take a couple of minutes. Was Popeyes going to take the responsibility if my bike got stolen? Worst place to work as well. They will fire you if you are not the store managers favorite.

We ordered two snacks without pepper and they came out spicy. Imagine if one of us is allergic to pepper. The cook was too irresponsible! Furthermore, the cashier speaks extremely fast and is not very friendly. I wont be returning to this unit again.

The attitude is garbage . Coleslaw salad smelt like absolute garbage, once I tried it I had to throw it out instantly. It was most definitely expired so no doubt the chicken was and on top of that it had hair in it and not just one piece but all of it. Never thought I d leave such review on a restaurant/ fast food joint page but everything was garbage. Never returning. I wouldn t even leave a one star if it were an option.

The service is so bad

I wonder if the the owner have ever worked in the store to understand the amount of stress his/her employees are going through due to NO COOLING in the vicinity. I will not blame the employees a penny if they are rude or running out of breath!! The place is a total sauna during summer!!! Its time to wake up Mr.owner!! Taste of popeyes always brings me with my family here. Service people are not sincerely attaining customers. Most of them are not talking in English. They dont clean the table and suface. Mostly, sofas are repaired with cost tap..

Best Popeyes I ve ever had. So fresh, service was really good and got the food really fast!

While the staff are very very lovely, this location is quite dirty in my opinion. The tables are not clean and the floors look like theyve never been mopped.. The chicken and fries are some of my favourite things to have when Im craving something unhealthy around toronto. They taste great! Id 100% recommend takeaways.

The food was great as per usual. I had the oppurtunity of reviewing 3 free meals. All specials and the food was serve hot , fresh and delicious. I do wish that their restaurant could be renovated. It doesnt really accompany a family setting which is disappointing. Its moreless a place for bachelors. I would like for there to be more happy Customer service Reps. But when it comes to the quality of the food.. they make such fat , thick and juicy chicken. Its so yummy. The regular chicken. Is very very very! Juicy. Im usually a spicy investor, but the regular 7piece .. is just oh so scrumdeliyumcious! After I finished my meal you should have seen how thick I got. I felt Good! Definitely will recommend this location . Plus inside is so cozy...Great Pitstone if your on a road trip.

Stop giving attitudes to your customers. Tried to Redeem my app offer but the they didn t have the items exactly as shown in the offer. All store employees need to be educated on how to compensate customers. If I am paying for a 10, I am supposed to get a 10, you can not simply give me a 9 and walk away.

I found this location to be clean, food is good and if they have the item cooked already quite fast. If not ready made you have to wait for them to make it for you, but worth the wait as its fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful. I had some questions about certain products and the lady had no problem helping me out. (She seemed like she was the owner/manager. Her interaction with other customers was also very friendly, helpful. There was a younger girl behind the counter who came out to help a customer who was in a wheelchair who needed help with something, went out of her way to make sure the customer got what she needed Their biscuits and biscuit sandwiches are awesome, really enjoyed them. Chicken was properly cooked (have had issues at other locations) This location can get quite busy at times, its definitely a popular place

Worst chicken fry Ive had in ages (I eat a lot of those). The chicken was over cooked and too oily. Also the french fry was a bunch of oily potato sticks. No flavour no taste full of salt and oil. Lately Im complaining about KFC outlets in Toronto but this Popeye is worst.

There s no organization in this store. Employes are running around the store with their heads cut off and no orders are being dished in a timely fashion. Everytime I come here it s 15 min plus regardless of how busy.

Portions are small, mostly batter. Just a hint of spice for heat elevates the batter slightly. We didnt care much for the beans and rice as a side dish. Parking is very limited. The best part of the meal is the tasty biscuits.

Ordered 2 delta mini. I asked for it to be fresh after waiting took the food home. When I took a bite into the sandwich the chicken was RAW. Disgusted and disappointed waste of money and time.

The service was terrible. When you go to a fried chicken place you expect chicken to be ready when they open. We waited 30 minutes for 5 pieces of chicken, in a chicken restaurant. Staff takes your order and ignores you. People come, order and get their order while you wait. No offer to refill the drinks, just nothing. The food was fresh but 30 minutes...ridiculous!

The chicken is very good here, better than the other nearby locations. Order accuracy was also good over the course of 4 visits. I have no complaints and will returning to get my fried chicken fix.

Horrible service. Waited more than 30 minutes for my order of chicken wings, asked multiple times where it was and was told to wait. In the meantime other people were being served their orders who came in way after me. Had to ask for a manager before someone even started making my order. Last time vising this location. EDIT: After reading other reviews it seems like 30 minutes is the minimum wait time here. Mary Browns will be my go to from now on. It is also Halal for those interested. Spices are better too

I went in for takeout at this Popeyes location, I wouldn t say customer service was very rude or anything. But when I asked for spicy chicken they told me it s finished not ready to cook because it s 10.15 PM and they want close at 11 PM. I really didn t like their approach and like an icing on the cake chicken turned to be undercooked. I only enjoyed one piece among three. It seemed they have good reviews in google, but this location do way better.

Have door dashed a couple of times and i am always surprised when the food arrives still hot. I do think they are usually busy because delivery takes longer than other places I order from. Also their spice level isn t as spicy as other Popeyes i have been too; i have to recheck if i had accidentally ordered mild coz I can t tell if there is any spice on it.
