I just had the most incredible experience at this amazing mo gou yan restaurant! I ordered some noodles, and let me tell you, they were absolutely yummy and bursting with flavor! Every bite was a delicious adventure!
This is one of my go-to spots within downtown Toronto whenever I wanna grab a bite before or after work. I've been here many times over the last 2 years and have never had a disappointing experience. The staff are always efficient and friendly, and the food is always fresh and comes out quickly. This time was no exception and was a pleasant experience as well. Depending on the time of day, the place could be dead or busy, but luckily it was fine when I arrived. I got the Thin Flat Noodles w/ Minced Beef Paste and it was delicious as usual. I asked for extra noodles, which I normally do. My only complaint is that it didn't seem like extra, but that probably depends on who makes it. Overall, a great place to eat.
An absolutely wonderful place. I’d always wanted to try hand-pulled noodles and my sister recommended this location to me. We went together and I could taste the difference in the noodle quality and everything was scrumptious! The servers here are kind and attentive, and the service was fast despite the restaurant being so packed! I’d recommend calling ahead to reserve a table as they regularly seat groups of 8 people or more. I got the Garlic Scallops as an appetizer which were fresh, delicious and full of garlic flavour. They came in the shell on top of vermicelli noodles. For my drink I got the Passion fruit Green Tea which was super refreshing and had pieces and seeds of real passion fruit in it! It was also a generous serving for $6.95. For my main I got their classic Braised Beef Noodle Soup at the first spice level and chose Thin-Flat hand-pulled noodles. It was ABSOLUTELY DIVINE. The broth was super flavourful, the beef was beyond tender, the noodles were super fresh and springy, and the other ingredients (radish, garlic, and scallions) tied it all together. The portion was also large so I had another bowl for the next day! I highly recommend this Mogouyan hand-pulled noodle location. I can’t wait to come back soon!
Really enjoyed dinner here! The service was excellent! The food was delicious too! We shared veggie dumplings, edamame, cold sesame cold noodles, and steamed custard filled bunnies 🐰 for dessert. Everything was so fresh and good. Our server recommended our noodle size and it was perfect. The portion of noodles was a lot and we thought we might order something else, but we were too full. I'd definitely eat here again! Bonus--they has ice cold cans of Coke!
Great place for this handpulled noodle soup. We got the braised beef, and it was perfect. Taste and presentation😋 The only complaint is we were still finishing up and didn't get a chance to drink the water when she took it away, but that's all good. Maybe she was new? The place is very nice and friendly
We got a soup and dry noodle. Both of them tasted delicous and full of flavour. They have a good variety of noodle cuts you can choose from. However, I feel like we got scammed with the garlic mushrooms appetizer. It advertises 3 large mushrooms on the menu, but we got 4 TINY ones, maybe 1/3 of the size compared to the picture. They tasted mediocre as well, so I would definitely avoid that one.
Popped in for a quick lunch and was not disappointed! I got the Dan Dan noodles and it was delicious, salty, nutty and savory! The green onions really help cut the richness so definitely would recommend! I got the thick noodles which is perfectly chewy and went well with the sauce. Our servers were really nice and came when needed. Overall would recommend this place to anyone looking to eat noodles!
If you like Chinese Beef Noodle Soup you have to eat here! I got the large and the large is LARGE. The large comes with a good amount of meat, noodle, herbs and pickled daikon. The flavor was fantastic although I do like my broth a tad sweeter/decadent (but still great nevertheless). Appetizer was pretty standard. I got the shredded pepper chicken, which essentially is cold Mala chicken (so a bit of a surprise). Will definitely comeback!
I got the DanDan noodles here. Overall the dish was very tasty. I got 2 spice level and it was not too spicy at all, but a very comfortable spice level for me. Peanuty sauce that I very much enjoyed along with beef and green onions. I got the flat noodles and they were super delicious as well.
Had the Stir Fried Noodles with Beef - Delicious. Service was quick and efficient.
Great little place. Friendly staff.
Delicious noodles with lots of noodle options. The servers were attentive and stopped by our table to check in on our needs. Will definitely be back
The food was delicious and the service was amazing, I will definitely be going back there soon!
Good food , not bad price! Will come back again for sure!
I feel like I owe the waiter millions of dollars bad attitude
We had a great to-go experience before, but this time was disappointing. I ordered through DoorDash, and the dasher delivered my food just 6 minutes after picking it up. Theres no way the food couldve gotten this cold in such a short time. The noodles were so cold, it felt like they were from the day before or, at best, made earlier that morning. Paying $50 for two portions of cold, stale noodles was a huge disappointment.
This place is amazing, the food was excellent and the customer services incredible, I want to acknowledge the amazing service of Yiming, he has so welcoming and helpful as server.
God damn these are some good noodles. Ordered the large mogouyan and my partner and I and all of our future descendants had a delicious meal. Portion size is great, noodles are great, flavour is great Perfect meal thank you very much from Kelowna bc
I liked the al dente-ness of the hand pulled noodles
Got takeout, everything was luke warm despite waiting for it 20 mins longer than promised
One of the best lanzhou noodles I ve had in Toronto!
Noodles had a good chew. Preserved veges were ok, braised beef was good but the portion was a bit small
I was looking for a place to have lunch, found this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Vegetarian options were limited, but still more options than some places. I initially tried the stir fry noodles, but would highly recommend the cold sesame noodles instead. So flavorful and fresh. The peanut wasabi sauce that comes with the spring rolls and gyoza is to die for. I d come back just for that sauce . Vegetarian options: Cold Sesame Noodles, spring rolls and gyoza
Best noodles Ive had ever
My rating: 7.8/10. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The staff were very kind and helpful. Food tasted good, and came out of the kitchen very quickly. Their in house noodles are fantastic, certainly the star of the show. I wish there was a little more variety on the menu, especially for meat-less options. Didn t try any appetizers or dessert, but those offerings both looked good. Dish-ware is fun and authentic. The kitchen is open concept which is neat, but you can t see it from most of the tables. It was decently busy for a Wednesday night in the fall. I would definitely go back, and recommend it for high quality noodles in downtown Toronto. Vegetarian options: They have fewer vegetarian options than I hoped, but the veggie dishes do taste good. Dietary restrictions: They can try to help accommodate dietary restrictions, but aren t the most flexible because certain dishes require certain ingredients. Parking: It is downtown Toronto, so there aren t too many options, and all of them have a cost associated. There are a fair few parking lots nearby you can pay for and walk from. Kid-friendliness: It is kid appropriate, and I would not hesitate to bring kids or a family here. Not overly kid friendly, pretty standard. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a big step up to the front door, and no ramp alternative, so it would be very difficult if you are solo and in a wheelchair. Also no accessibility button for the door.
The food and service was overall great but a server with glasses was extremely rude and unfriendly. She had an attitude when I was ordering and just didn t seem friendly at all
All the other servers were lovely but one particular server with glasses, she was giving me and my friend dirty looks while we were dining and when we were asking for service she d completely ignore us and walk pass:(
Excellent food and service!!
Really good noodles! Got the braised beef. The beef was very soft! The mochi ice cream and red bean fish dessert were amazinggg. Food
Insanely good. Genuinely one of the best meals of my life!!
Our favorite place to eat during a trip to Toronto. They hand pull the noodles and cook them to order; very cool to watch. And the staff was very friendly!
Great noodles and the waiter was so kind!!!! If you are looking for an easy place with good prices this one is perfect I tried 1 out of 3 spicy level more than that it might be really spicy ngl Food
Our first time in Toronto and for trying hand pulled noodles. We got the braised beef soup noodles and they were fantastic! Highly recommend this place. We were here at 230 on the afternoon and it was still quite busy. You get to watch them pull the noodles as well. Great spot!
Absolutely love this place. Has amazing vegetarian noodles options.
Wonderful place. Extremely good food. Great ambiance. Great Service!!!
the dandan noodle was the best amongst all of the orders- spicy, fragrant, and oily. would only come here for that. bt also love the skewer. experiment.
Nice and spicy noodle soup. Good service and affordable. Spacious restaurant. Good experience overall.
Noodle soup is nice. Good service. I will try other dish in menu in the future.
Amazing. Pickled mustard beef noodle soup. Beef tender, noodles excellent, and great flavor.
I love this place for awhile I went here on my 16th birthday and went recently went and my oder had to be messed with a bit because it was to hot for my wife and they helped and fixed everything. Love this place everyone there is super nice and lovely to be around. 100% would eat here any day of the week
We had the braised beef noodle soup. The noodles were pretty good and the soup base was good. Beef was also tender so that was good. Overall 4/5. The only downside is a regular portion is about 20 with tips and the large bowl is 25. Its a bit too expensive for what it is.
noodles have an amazing bouncy texture and the skewers are mouth watering
10/10 foods and drinks better then others foods as bowl of noodle!!
very good food and great value
Amazing customer service, all of the staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming despite the restaurant being quite busy. Respect to the attentive waiters who were creating such a positive atmosphere.
Went here with friends the other day and had classic spicy beef noodles. Noodles were alright but the chicken cutlet was really good. Staff was friendly and they accommodated the requests of mine and my friends. Dietary restrictions: Friend has peanut allergies and they accommodated him.
Their spicy noodles with beef brisket was very delicious! The staff provided great service, they were friendly, polite and efficient!! I will definitely return to this place the next time I m in downtown!!
The joociest spiciest deliciousest noodles ever made.
The beef and beef brisket noodles here are amazing. Love their angel hair and classic noodles. Mango green tea is a vibe. So is the mochi icecream dessert.
Finally came here today for lunch! They were busy but we were seated quickly, both the waiter and the waitress were very efficient and polite! Great service! And the food is just wow!! Finally knew what the hype is about! Definitely coming back!!!!
Delicious braised beef, true Lanzhou style. Not a lot of beef but super tender and the broth was perfect. Would be great to be able to order small side dishes of pickled vegetables and seaweed. Will be back to try the Dan Dan soon!
food was great
went here on a whim and would definitely come back! Portions are huge and the braised beef melted in your mouth. Would love to try their fried noodle options next time!
Awesome place for lunch and dinner! Had the original noodles in regular size with a little spice and the springrolls. The springrolls were absolutely amazing and came with a really nice sesame sauce. The noodles were also amazing. The thin cut worked very well and the beef was really tender. Value wise, it was a good amount of food for the money! Would definitely recommend!
Tremendous
Ask for Walter.
Delicious and huge portions, all served very hot and fresh! Had the noodle soup with fried chicken fillet and scallop dish, highly recommend both.
It is so good. Delicious.
Came through today for some soup and was not disappointed! Kelly made sure that everything was up to par and her excellent service definitely makes me want to come back again.
Came in today and thoroughly enjoyed my experience! Kelly is the nicest manager I ve ever met and I loved her recommendation of the garlic mushrooms. Definitely will be back for some more noodles and mushrooms soon!
lamb skewers! yummers!
We came around 9pm and not so busy which is good. Ordered typical Mogouyan pulled noodle with extra beef and egg, and a couple of other appetizers. Noodle is very good and authentic. However, the soup is lukewarm, flavor is a bit lame. Beef is over cooked and broken to small pieces, which other dinners have pointed out. Overall it is an above average noodle house.
Awesome noodle place. Had a vegi noodle soup which was really, really good. Original chinese taste. Noodles are all handmade and cooked to personal favor ... great experience.
Tasty food and drinks, good service and calm atmosphere
Ive been coming here at least once a week and it never misses the mark and I always leave satisfied. The noodles are sooo fresh and tasty, and the dough is perfectly hand pulled and stretched. The bowl I get has some rich broth, beautifully sliced beef with some soft boiled radish and some chilli oil...very simple, but jam packed full of flavour. This reminds me of my time in south east Asia, eating bowls amazing noodles off the street.
If you re looking for good quality noodles, this is the spot. Most recently got the Dan Dan Noodles, which was full of flavour and highlighted the texture of the noodles quite well.
Amazing food and drinks.
Tried the spicy beef noodle. The noodles were fresh and really soft. Would recommend to anyone looking for fresh hand pulled noodles. PS: the service is quick and the ambience was welcoming.
Visited on Saturday (August 10) with my friends. Food was ok, average for a noodle house. However, what ruined the whole experience is one of the server was super rude to us for no reason and they were blasting music too loud. At least, act professional. If you are having a bad day, I m sorry but i don t have anything to do with that and you are not supposed to dump it on customers. Will not return.
Amazing noodles as always, but one waiter working the entire dining room during dinner hour is just not enough. She was getting visibly frustrated, but thats not her fault. We waited unnecessarily long for our food, and then sat there and waited for at least 40 minutes for our bills, while there were people in the front waiting for tables. The restaurant should know better and balance the dining room staff. The Yonge Street location has always had better service when we go there.
I visited on Wednesday night, and despite the place being really busy that day they didn t compromise on service or food. The noodles were fresh and tasted amazing. The servers were super friendly and helped me pick out drinks and noodles. Definitely worth trying!
Came here yesternight with my buds, around 9pm. The minced beef noodle was delicious and the staff treated us great. We loved the skewers too! Definitely coming back next week!!!
Absolutely delicious. Noodles were made to perfection, skewers were juicy and cold dishes were great. Service was friendly and fast.
Honestly not sure how people like this. Noodles are really mushy like they ve been overcooked. No bounce. Beef was more entrails and fat than anything else. Most prominent flavor was salt. Anyone can do better at home. There are so many great noodles places in Toronto. This is not one of them by a loooong shot.
My first time dining here. They offer a variety of flavours and shapes of noodle options, and I wanted to try them all! I ended up ordering the original beef soup with thin flat noodles. It was good. I had medium spicy but it wasnt spicy at all for me. The beef slices were very thin, and I wish there had been more of them (we can pay more to request more beef though). I was a little bit disappointed with the egg because I was expecting a half-done one. Overall, it was pretty good. I will return to try some other noodles next time.
The broth is delicious. It s not my favorite Lanzhou noodle place, but definitely in top 5. I always get their classic or braised beef noodles. I recommend ordering the braised beef noodles with the beef on the side because i find the braising sauce muddies the broth, makes it too salty and the flavours aren t as clean. Their appetizer selection is pretty spot on too.
tasty!
This was incredible! The handmade noodles are so delicious and you can see how they are made. Loved the beef noodle soup!
Delicious noodles. Noodle lovers will immediately recognize the taste, texture and size of authentic hand pulled noodles. The dishes are all excellent. Yum yum. June 2024 update. Still super good food, super good service and super great experience. Yum!
The food was great, but someone in our party witnessed a worker use the restroom and return to work without washing his hands.
Noodles taste very good
Delicious I like it very much
Our go-to option at Mogouyan is always their signature fried noodle, which is amazing. I loved their signature noodle, but I would prefer the noodles to be thicker, as I ve tried at other locations. Overall, I ll be back for this amazing signature noodle!
Its delicious, clean, and the service is good. It also plays Laufeys songs. It becomes a canteen. I ordered beef noodles with sauerkraut. The sauerkraut was delicious, I think it could have been more. The soup is delicious, with beef flavor, not too salty, enough green onions and coriander, the beef is a little lean and thin in my opinion, but I think it is already outstanding The shredded chicken is delicious
Quite a nice surprise. Good vibe, fresh food and friendly, helpful staff.
The beef broth is delicious and the noodles are amazing, Very accommodating for my 6 years old daughter. Definitely worth it!
Ramen is OK, others are just so so
Really great taste for a very affordable price. I come here a lot and I always leave satisfied
The noodles themselves are delicious, and the dishes we ordered were both flavourful and satisfying. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Good service too. Id return if Im ever for the mood for this downtown
A great hand-pulled noodle joint well located in Toronto! Make sure to mix the noodles well to get the most bang for your buck ;) Me and my friend enjoyed the Lanzhou flavoured noodles, especially as the meal progressed and the noodles got further imbued with the rich sauce. Note that medium spicy is already pretty spice so choose wisely
The waiters with terrible attitudes, and the service does not deserve any tip, we ordered three but only two were on the table.
Tried the beef soup and kelp salad. Interesting flavors and the noodles were very fresh. Good spot, will try other dishes next time
Absurd loud music (I was the only customer), very expensive noodle bowl, mediocre at best. The only flavor is the level of heat, and the free sadness that comes with it.
Great Staff and seem to take care of their customers! My Fav is the Bloor St Location. Great noodles!
Its a pretty good store with good taste, price and environment.
Samsung is awarded to Mogouyan, a time-honored brand in Lanzhou. The noodles can only be said to be average in other places, so I don t have much hope. However, the menu does not have second-tier noodles, so making the third-tier noodles second-tier is a bit perfunctory.
Straight up 2 min.
It tastes better than magic noodle, very traditional made.
I went here with a friend for dinner a couple weeks ago. I ordered their mogouyan classic beef noodles. The service was good and food arrived quickly. The atmosphere and restaurant decor was nice which made dining in a pleasant experience. One small criticism I have, however, is the noodles in both of our orders seemed to be very slightly undercooked since they were a bit firm and stuck together. Despite this, we both agreed the soup and everything else was delicious. Hope to return again to try other menu items.
Two waitresses were very impolite today. When I asked questions about the food, the first waitress remained silent and seemed annoyed. Eventually, she resorted to pointing at pictures with her finger. To make matters worse, the second waitress displayed racism when I spoke with her. Once again, the food in this restaurant is amazing, but the waitresses are very arrogant.
Good portions and delicious food
The sheep skewers were delicious! It might have been even more delicious if it had a strong cumin flavor! Dandan noodles have too much garlic and are spicy...not the spiciness of chili peppers, but the spiciness of garlic. I couldnt really taste the flavor, which was a shame even though it looked like it would be delicious. The store was clean and nice.
Small menu but delicious noodles and soup. I upsized to a large bowl and got absolutely stuffed. Regular size should be more than adequate for a regular meal. I also picked the highest spice option and it was a good kick. Not unbearable but enough to sweat. Their cocktails were very good too. Would recommend the mango martini!
Amazing hand pulled noodles, delicious broth and great service! Had the braised beef, and highly recommend trying the Flat wide noodle option. They are soooo good. Wish I could get these back in PEI. Looking forward to another visit soon to TO for some more Mogouyan. Food : 5/5
cute red haired girl was friendly and provided excellent customer service. food was good too
Amazing soup with generous portions. Visited here a couple of times and they never disappoint.
Been here at least 20 times, their beef stir fried noodles is my go to!
yummy noodles. Liked how u can customize the protein options for some of dishes. Would comr back again
there is an iron wire in noodles and the chopsticks are also very dirty
Noodles are very good. Starters are ok. Services are wonderful Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian food Food : 4/5 |
Delicious food with good vegetarian options! My partner got a large soup and it was giant and tasty Great value, definitely will be coming back here Food
veggie spring rolls . 3 out of 5 . Barley any taste but very fresh Braised beef soup 1 out of 5 . Only tasted of chilli oil . Beef was all fat . Squid 2 out of 5. Very Indian flavour . Scallop 3 out of 5. Only really tasted garlic . Staff were great and nice restaurant . But will never go again .
Staff was great. Restaurant looked fine. The food was rushed no love and overpriced for what it is. There are better options in the city.
Got moolan broth it was delicious
best lanzhou noodle in Toronto
The noodles were excellent and reasonably priced! I also enjoyed my Northern China Lights cocktail, although it was quite pricey. There was a bit of a line for dinner, but the line moved relatively quickly so it wasnt a big deal. Ill be back again when Im craving hand pulled noodles in the area.
This spot is solo date friendly! I went here on my lunch break by myself and I had such a comfortable and wonderful time! The service was impeccable. They were tentative but not too overbearing. Always made sure my water cup was full. As for the food, it was delicious. Im such a soup girl so this fulfilled every craving I ever had (as a Vietnamese girl). I ordered the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodles soup with Flat noodles and a side of Chicken skewers. If you want the hand pulled fat big noodles, always order flat! Trust me, it was SO GOOD! As for the chicken skewer, it was seasoned perfectly. At the time that I went, it costs me approx. $22 CAD (not sure if thats before or after tip). Im definitely coming back and potentially going to try the drier noodles since Ive tried their soup already!
sucks
My favorite place for noodles in Downtown
Got the braised beef noodles and my husband got the signature stir fry noodles - loved them both. Huge, huge portions! Passionfruit green tea was a huge hit. Very refreshing. Service was great! Will definitely be back.
Got a quiet seat at the back, and was able to sit and enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. Food was all excellent, and well priced. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. Will visit again! Food
Nice downtown hand pulled noodle place. Large bowl is REALLY large so come hungry! Noodles are great. Recommend getting the extra spicy options (not really so spicy). The passion fruit tea with ice is very refreshing.
Bright modern digs serving hand pulled noodles and bbq skewers. Super fast and efficient service.
Ordered the classic broth with thick noodles and side of crispy chicken. The noodles itself had a great texture, and I was a fan of how crispy the chicken was. However, the broth itself was lacking flavour. The reviews from others are quite high, so I assumed maybe the broth that evening may have been a fluke. Everything else was quite good, so just hoping the broth is usually good as well!
I went for lunch today was great , service was great, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was excellent very delicious and cooked excellent
The beef noodles, Lamb skewers and cucumber are unbelievably delicious. (The beef noodles are too good to remember to take a picture.) Food
Went here for lunch with the family. Service was excellent, our server explained everything really nicely. And the food was great, such tasty broth and the noodles were fresh and excellent. We got the braised noodles and the fried chicken noodles. Note the spice levels are pretty serious, we only got level one and it was pretty spicy! One hack if you re not super hungry or are bringing kids who may not eat as much, get the large size for sharing into a couple of smaller bowls as it s quite substantial. Two dishes shared this way were enough for our family to enjoy
Really yummy, high quality ingredients used. Not salty and dont feel thirsty like a lot of other Lanzhou noodles.
Great Lanzhou noodle soup, dry noodles, delicious skewers, and Chinese salads - authentic taste and nice spice level - great prices. Excellent friendly service and nice interior. Background music was eclectic and can be a bit loud - but a great place anyways.
We had some of the soup noodles and an appetizer of sliced beef. Its nice to be able to choose the level of spiciness for the soup. However, while the noodles are great, the broth is not very tasty. It seems like sharing one of the dry noodles is a better option. We went on a Saturday night, arriving before 18h, and it was already full and very loud inside with music and several groups of people talking so loud.
I ate classic beef noodles with mango juice. Food was all decent. Price was reasonable. Servers did not check up the table until I paid.
Food was ok for the price but the waitress she did not even say hello, she just stared and wanted us to order as soon as possible. She brought a pitcher on the table but not the cups, and when we asked her to bring some, she replied annoyed. Also, when she was cleaning everything, she pushed my friend away and grabbed aggressively her seat to reach some plates. You can tell she ruined my whole experience here.
This is my first time going to this restaurant. I chose it because it is close to where I work. But the food really surprised me. The noodles tasted very good, and the beef was stewed at just the right temperature and the pieces were big. Much better than many beef noodles, very satisfied!
I opted for the signature dry noodle at 3 pm in an almost empty restaurant. The noodle took about 10 min to ready, revealing a commitment to freshly made dishes as opposed to pre-made dishes. You can see a cook skillfully crafting handmade noodles at the entrance. The wait was worth it for the taste!
We went for dinner on a Tuesday night and got a booth for 2 immediately. The interior was bigger than we expected. We ordered $13.5 regular classic beef noodles and $15.95 braised beef noodles. The dishes were on par with the best weve had before. The noodle texture was great, and the portion was large with a good amount of beef and radish. My only few nitpicks are that one of the menus was worn out to the point that we couldnt read some parts, and the classic beef was very soft and fell apart easily. Note that the spice levels are quite mild, even with a mediocre spice tolerance (the server said kids are fine with 1 pepper spice level)
Very cheap and big in portion size, very clean and nice service
Great food and service!
Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodles, located by Bay and Dundas, offers generous portion sizes and spacious restaurant. This location is double the size of the one south of Bloor and Yonge. The service was prompt, and the staff were quick to clean, collect our dishes, and provide water. We would definitely return for future noodle soup cravings! We went for dinner time and they had booths for 4 people. The regular sized bowls are already large, and you can customize the spice levels for specific menu dishes. The side dishes, like the slightly sour and spicy Potato Salad, are fairly standard for this type of Chinese pulled noodle cuisine. The braised beef noodle soup was delicious with the spicy level 1, the Shredded Potato Salad was very refreshing and the Bean Jelly with House Special Sauce was well seasoned. A regular portion can easily serve 1.5 people, while the large size easily serves 2 people. Although the portable credit machine was down, we were able to pay at the booth. All pulled noodles are hand-made and custom ordered.
I got their classic beef noodle, it was quite good but could be better since they just mix the chilis and soup together which I wasn t a big fan of. Overall would recommend it!
Great place for handmade noodles. Portions are big, service is fast and flavours are good. Overall, great value and I would fully recommend it.
Finally got to this place after moving to TO. Tried the Dan Dan noodles and they were very good. Along with the fried chicken, spring rolls, and mango green tea. All good. Service was fast and efficient. Inside is quiet, bright, clean and comfortable.
Omg simple these noodles are the best! my only observation is that the music is very loud.
This is my favourite noodle place . Portions are huge price is good and staff is very friendly. And of course food is amazing Recommended dishes Braised Beef Noodles
One of the best meals of noods ive ever had! Spicey and tasty
Noodles 5 Mushrooms 3.5 Scallop 4 Seaweed salad 3 ( way too salty) First visit at this place and probably our last. Why, this place washroom is disgusting smelly, and its really a turned off . You know what they say. If the washroom is dirty. Most likely, the food is too.
Great braised beef with round noodle. amazing flavored broth & tender beef fried chicken was tasty Food : 5/5
really very good highly recommended. Excellent handmade noodles
Mogouyan Handpulled Noodles is a hidden gem in downtown Toronto especially after a long cold day. The noodles were perfectly pulled and cooked. I appreciate the clear broth style, not overpowering like ramen. Service is friendly and not monotone, which is pretty rare in the city. My family went to the restaurant at around 9 PM on a thursday, it was a little busy. We tried the chicken stir fry with extra spice, large (HUGE) size of braised beef noodle with flat noodles. Its not too spicy, but thats expected in Canada. The spring rolls with wasabi peanut sauce were amazing. We got the scallops, lamb, beef, chicken and squid skewers. The lamb skewers was a 9/10. My husband really loved the braised beef soup, I can also tell they make the chilli oil in house, so good. I cant wait to go back! Five stars!
we had beef noodle soup w/pickled veg and signature stir fry. both were excellent. great texture on the noodles! be careful with the ergoutou. thatll put hair on your chest! Food
great restaurant. Great service and ver good food.
Everyone is so nice and patient all the time. Would recommend for a nice time!
As a vegetarian, I love the menu and feel that I have more options to choose from.
Great food at a great price!
Service is absolutely trash. Our server even apologized because she knew how bad it was. Don t even bother coming here.
Its super delicious. The taste of the soup is quite authentic. I like it very much.
Everything was great. The noodles were amazing, and the service was great. Just keep in mind when dining in a restaurant like this, it is a sit, eat and go type.
I still cant believe the amount of fresh noodles and meat there is in each bowl. Both, together with the soup were excellent. Ofc extra points for being entertained by the noodle master stretching the noodles. The large size is huge, I m a big eater, but I couldnt finish it. Price cant really be beaten. Less than 20$ for that size bowl is a great deal. The service was a bit slow, but our server was very nice and helped us pack the leftovers
I requested a dish without cucumber, but my request was overlooked, and the dish was taken back to the kitchen for adjustments. Unfortunately, I could see from my seat that two kitchen staff members used their fingers to remove the cucumber from my dish. This unhygienic procedure was quite disturbing to witness. Despite their attempt to correct the mistake, I found the situation unsettling, leading me to leave the establishment. I wanted to inform you of this incident as it significantly affects my perception of the establishments hygiene standards and customer service.
the signature stir fry noodles made for a great lunch
One of the best noodles shop in Toronto. Its not just only affordable and clean, but the service is quick too! The servers, especially the guy with long hair and the girl with glasses, were really friendly. I totally recommend this place it s a gem.
This place is nice for a quick food! Amazing broth available and fresh snacks.
the bowls are enormous
Delicious
Unimpressed. Expensive for something watery. Dont get fooled with the meat on the photo, this is cut in ultra thin slice to give a fake impression of abundance.
Arrived at noon on Monday and was the 4th table seated. We ordered immediately. 25 minutes later, no food yet and noticed 2 tables that arrived after us got their food (appetizers and noodles) already. I inquired with the server and was told that it was coming. Another 15 min waiting again and by this time, 6 tables that arrived after us got their food already. I inquired again, only to hear same message that it was coming. I was ready to leave at this point. It took more than 45 min for 2 orders of beef noodle. Even got my order wrong. Unacceptable service and extremely disappointed. Definitely not worth the wait and this restaurant just left a very poor taste in my mouth. Do NOT recommend!
Tried this place for the first time this weekend and I LOVED it! I ordered their braised beef noodles with 2 spice and thick/flat noodles - so so good! Ill probably get 3 spice next time and stick with the flat noodles bc they were so chewy and bouncy and just perfect The braised beef was super tender and the perfect addition to the noodles Will definitely be visiting again during the cold winter days coming soon also pictured: my friends dry noodles and enoki mushrooms - the mushrooms were super well seasoned and flavourful / very garlicky which I love
Very large portions for very cheap. Everything was incredible Even the mango drink was in a large pitcher. Basically a requirement if you re in the area. Make sure to plan for leftovers, and only order large if you re very hungry.
The food was fantastic! The service was kind and attentive. Loved the music and the vibez. Why the overall 4stars? There was no soap in the washroom. They brought me the mans soap but it was just water! I told them.afaun they said theyll fix the issue. By the time I left still no soap. Womp womp! Ill go back but please make sure theres soap! Its very important.
Ordered via UberEats on a cold day and their braised beef with the pickled cabbage really hit the spot. Would recommend and would pay a visit to the restaurant one day! Yum!
The depth of flavour in the broth was the best I ve ever had. Service, excellent and with huge smiles! A must visit delicious oasis in a noisy city. 5 out of 5!!!
One of the best noodles shop in Toronto. Its not just only affordable and clean, but the service is quick too!
