418 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M5T 1G2, Canada
Local chain outlet specializing in Northern Chinese dim sum & stir-fry in a bustling space.
Delicious, like absolutely delicious food! My favourite and unique part of this spot is they have private rooms for private lunch or dinners. Highly recommended and thanks for the superb dim sum, Chinese food and dishes. Also pretty great service too!
Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! Round 2 of Dong Po Pork had, the same delicious taste but with a side of broccoli which soaked up the addicting juices much better, and the soup dumplings were filled with a savoury porky soup with a subtle fragrance of cooking wine.
Fresh pan fried dumplings and soup dumplings. Must get the deep fried egg white with red beans paste dessert.
Soup dumplings are good and hot but are not as souped up compared to the one in Leslie + Finch location (closes permanently Sept 30). You can see in the picture that it is a bit shriveled up The smoked bbq duck was great. Definitely recommend rice or noodles to go with it as it's salty. The price of these items are too expensive nowadays sadly. $13.99 for 6 crab meat soup dumplings is not it. The waiter is super nice and merged and additional table to give us more eating space
Every bites was delicious and forgot to take photos before it’s all gone. Attentive and friendly service. Highly recommend!
White guy walks into random Chinatown place and got good results. The green onion pancake was the best. Fried rice second and veggie potstickers third. She brought salt instead of a fork. Language barrier. Take off masks too.
One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Toronto. The portion size is slightly smaller than House of Gourmet but the quality and freshness of their ingredients are much better. Service has been superb and consistent every time I've been there.
A great spot with an impressive menu of Chinese dishes in downtown. Always a popular place as well! Here, we got the Steamed Soup-filled Dumplings with Crab Meat and Pork. The broth could be a bit stronger and more aromatic in flavour, but still a decent choice. The Noodles with Minced Pork in Peking Sauce were delicious, the noodles had an incredible bite and texture to them. And finally, the Camphor Smoked Duck, amazing if you like duck. Some pieces were a tad dry, but that is just being picky. Overall, you cannot go wrong with the dishes here!
So delicious
Great service for a frequent client like me :) Really appreciate the attention and care they give us for our annual Christmas dinner as a group, thank you!!!
Authentic Chinese at the edge of original China town
Coerced me to pay a tip after I already paid my bill because of the culture. Tips are supposed to be of someones own discretion. Forcing people to tip and not letting them leave is forced confinement. Soya milk drink also tasted off. I wont come here again.
Ordered Dim Sum for delivery and food arrived cold and no dipping sauces for any of the dumplings. For 5 dishes was $110, which was a total waste of money.
Its a joy to eat Chinese food in a foreign country, and the slice of roast duck is just average and too thick. But I recommend it to those who have never tried it. The different cuisine and cooking methods from the locals are the biggest differences during our trip ~
The staff is rude and disrespectful
No quality.
Lots and lots of garlic, lots and lots of deliciousness!
One of my favorite places for chinese food! They have some dishes without MSG so always a good thing. Love their soups, dim sum and bao buns.
Super mid. Soup didn t look like the photos (less items) the soup dumpling was a bit bland but passable
Soup dumplings. Because David Chang said so.
Still good as it is, steam/fried dumpings and other delicious food
Peking duck spectacular. Some of the best hot and sour I ve ever had. Service is phenomenal. Took it down a star cause they charge .80 per each extra slice of lettuce you get.
Excellent restaurant
Pretty decent spot in Chinatown. The atmosphere is slightly nicer than most other Chinese restaurants in Chinatown, but the food is pretty much the same as you d find at a lot of other places nearby. Classic staples like Kung Pao Chicken and Eggplant with garlic sauce
This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in town. My favorite! Clean, nice service with great foods
The place DENIED ACESS to my service dog. Trying to play stupid when they said They needed to talk to their manager, I almost went Karen mode on them. You lost my 5 review for that!
Amazing food
Absolutely delicious!
A top destination for Northern Chinese food. Its large, its clean. The food selection is impressive and its licensed. Service is efficient.
This pertains to ordering take-out from Asian Legend. I ordered for take-out, the Stir Fried Beef with Chinese Broccoli. It cost $30 plus tax. When I got the dish I was extremely disappointed. The amount of beef provided was less than 1 portion size! Instead, the container was filled up over 80% with Chinese Broccoli. I get that vegetables are cheaper than meat, but for $30 I would at least expect to get an adequate amount of beef.
Ive been here a couple times with my family over the past year and a half. Have not been disappointed with either visit. Food is great. We will definitely go to Asian Legend again.
Delicious! The lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken was amazing.
Very delicious & nice service. thanks
Ive been going to the spot for at least 10years and these couple time that Im truly disappointed I placed a takeout order today. The Gravy spilled everywhere inside the bag. Everything it just looks disgusting.. Use a better container!!!!
Fine but meh
I visited on Christmas and was glad it was empty A restaurant with delicious Peking duck! The jasmine tea on the table was delicious. This is a popular store with customers always coming to the store. I felt like I was being rushed a bit, but I was able to spend a very pleasant time with the attentiveness! Thank you so much
We had our New Years dinner here. Decent enough experience. Staff was kind and available. Food was good and served fresh along with some green tea Would definitely return and recommend Food
Had a party of 9 eating there, what a great experience!
Goated Goated Goated. Visiting from Montreal, love all the dishes (I did not order so idk what they were lmao). Its a tier higher above MTL and me reading the reviews being critical is like a wtFfff (not used to Toronto Asian food standards). Oh well I was eating downstairs and the ventilation wasnt the best though and boy sure it was steamy hottt and kinda hard to breath I have weak breathing conditions).
My favourite place to get Chinese food. They have the best hot and sour soup in the city, just fyi. All of the noodle dishes are awesome and the General Tao chicken is really special.
What happened to this place? I used to love it, now it doesnt seem like good standards of care are there. I ordered the veggie fried rice, I needed a magnifying glass to find a vegetable in the dish! The worse offence was the serving cart that they kept taking out to the dining area. It sounded like a small plane landing in the middle of the room. I understand that they need to clear tables, and this helps them out, but its really, really noisy. All the plates and cutlery landing on each other, the rickety wheels on that cart, plus people talking and music blasting, it was A LOT. Personally, it wasnt a pleasant dining experience. With so many other options around, I wont be going back.
Blazingly FAST service and GREAT food!
terrible. very bad
Soup dumplings were very oily, green beans were delicious. Once the bill was split and paid, the waitress brought back a receipt stating that they had not tipped. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, a tip is not mandatory nor should be demanded from a customer. Will never return as the food was mediocre and the service atrocious.
We had hot and sour soup, sweet and sour pork and a thick noodle with cabbage. All three dishes were very good. Perfect amount for three people.
Great service and peking duck. The dumplings need work though. The Xiao long bao used to be so great, but this time they were quite dry with very little soup inside.
The food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. The server was rude the whole time and when serving our food, practically slammed the plates on the table and was not polite at all during the entire meal. Due to the terrible service, I did not leave a tip and she told me that the tip was not included which I acknowledged and asked if it was mandatory to which she replied why not? but I made it very clear I did not want to leave a tip and she went on to take my friend s bill. At the end, she still came back to me and practically forced me to pay a tip which I was very reluctant to do as the service was genuinely terrible. She practically guilt tripped me into it and this felt very inappropriate and uncomfortable. I believe a tip should be based on service and I genuinely don t feel comfortable tipping when the server is rude and disrespectful especially like this, guilt tripping a customer to do so.
A good place to go if you are looking for peking duck in downtown. Crispy skin duck and they use all the duck parts. All other dishes were good too. Great for family gatherings and service was good.
fun
The service was great. We got their fried rice, beef patty, and kungpao chicken. The fried rice was very good, nice and chewy and not too oily. Their beef patty was also filled with meat. Their Kung Pao chicken was good overall, however the peanut in the Kung Pao chicken was stale. Overall I would recommend this place, the atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet.
Our favourite Asian restaurant in Toronto. They make the best green onion and beef pancakes as well as soup filled dumplings.
Not authentic. 20% service fee is calculated based on after tax total.
Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarians. Food
The taste of Scarborough is average. The Wanjin store is delicious, the Korean red bean paste is made up, and the Mushu pork tastes mediocre. No eggs in sight. Slice-skin duck is fine. 80 is expensive for one to eat.
Wonderful place if you want their steamed soup dumplings which they are very much known for. The food overall is good - the atmosphere is not as good as some of their larger locations in Markham.
Beware this place! Non-existent service and demanding a higher tip?! (so many reviews about this) This place has gone down the toilet. Service was non-existent and food was just terrible. Our tea was never re-filled and the waitress never checked on our table. There was only 2 other tables so they were not busy at all but the second dish took forever to arrive. The fried dumpling special was not even crispy and very soft. The steamed buns were very dry and flavourless. I still provided a 10% tip but the waiter SHOVED the payment back in my face and demanded I tip more. I was feeling pressured and he embarrassed me in front of my guest. I reached for my wallet and topped it up. But even after doing that he just took the payments back and didnt acknowledge it or say thanks!! I regret topping up the tip or giving any at all. At this point I was pretty angry that he had the audacity to demand a HIGHER TIP when I didnt receive any service. All they did was set the food on the table and made us feel very uncomfortable. Restaurant not only left me with a bad taste but many negative emotions. Needless to say after going here for many years with friends and family, I will not be recommending this place to anyone
The downtown location of the Asian Legend chain (there are five locations in the GTA) is something of an institution. They serve mainly northern Chinese cuisine - with some dishes from other regions as well - in a modern space (check out the robot that brings your dishes to the table!) We popped by for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. We ordered three of our go-to dishes: Braised Bamboo Shoots for an appy; Shrimp and Pork Wontons in Spicy Peanut Sauce (the peanut sauce was a new twist for us); and, Noodles with Minced Pork in Peking Sauce. Everything was very well executed, with the wonton dish standing out due to the addition of the peanut sauce over the wontons in oil. We are keen to return to try their legendary Xiaolongbao and Peking Duck. We definitely recommend stopping by Asian Legend if you find yourself in Torontos downtown Chinatown.
Still a great place for northern Chinese cuisine
A staple of Chinese food in Chinatown Everything always delicious. Ingredients fresh. Service prompt. Prices reasonable. Food
Very rude staff for no reason. My card was refused the first time and the waitress rolled her eyes and sighed... Good food although a little expensive
go to spot in chinatown! extensive menu with all the favourites and some lesser known but tasty dishes. northern chinese focus but lots of cantonese and HK plates too. open late and good for large parties (they even have a private dining room in the basement). super clean & sleek interior
Such delicious food and such nice atmosphere. We got a private seating area downstairs and despite them being really busy, the staff was very polite and courteous. Will definitely come here again!
The food quality has come down ... Perhaps frozen foods re steamed . Cantonese service team is better than 19 years ago mainlanders . The tofu squares is a winner . Asian legends soup filled dumplings were frozen type ...the bow was good and the leaf rice I didnt get . Food items are over priced all over 10$ for 3 pieces ..the rice noodles are very good .general Tao was big big dissatisfaction
The best quality/price Asian restaurant I have been to in Toronto. I always recommend it Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome
Worst general tsao Ive ever had. Wasnt even tossed in the sauce, and the sauce was not tasty. Quite expensive too.
great food good fun
service is so bad, ask me to pick up garbages, give me awful looks, despise looks, i pay tips, The service was very poor. They asked me to pick up trash and gave me a look of disdain. I paid a tip.
Good to try, but there is no free parking but matter parking on the road side.
Pretty good chinese resto. Their xiao long baos were excellent and won ton soup and steamed dumpling were great. But shu Mai was just ok along with the fried baos. Would I go back?? Maybe...
A little expensive though.
This place has been on my radar for some time but i just never got around to coming until my uncles wife suggested coming over. The beef soup noodles did not disappoint. The rich broth with thick noodle and tender beef. Not bad for beef noodles that Ive had in Toronto! Xiaolungbao, the soup dumplings (not featured in pic) were delicious as were the other Shanghainese dishes we ordered.
Delicious food and great service ! Very kind personal and the food was delicious .
Was served cold food and when I paid, the lady insisted on asking why there is no tip and did not let me leave. Never want to go back here again, what a day!
Terrible customer service. Rude. More than $3 for a cup-of-tea size steamed rice. Cold food was served. I can absolutely go to Oceans and buy the same thing but hot and with a cheaper price. The staff is super clinging onto the tip. The audacity to ask for tipping with that kind of customer service is really out of line and ridiculous. Never thought a restaurant could be that desperate. If you want charity, you couldve just said that you (a full grownup business owner) are really in need of some spare changes from young people. Instead of putting those attitudes onto your customers, you should do some self-reflection of your business. I wouldve put 0 star if theres an option. There are plenty better asian restaurants in Chinatown thats worth the money. Super consider where you eat!
Classic toronto chinatown dimsum spot!!
Other reviews are right on the money here - this is a good Chinese spot thats neither too impressive nor terrible. The dim sum is a grade higher than what you get from casual takeout but nothing too mindblowing. The restaurants most popular dish is the xiao long bao or soup dumplings. The skin is not as thick as Juicy Dumplings and the broth is better, but its probably not worth the extra price. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the house fried rice most. Sure it was greasy as heck, but it was delicious and full of flavour. Overall, a decent option for Chinese cuisine but with so many options in Chinatown, Im not sure what will draw me back.
Very good Xiao long bao. portions are generous. Eat several times there.
The food was fine, but waitress Connie was very rude.
I like their dumpling, its filled with warm soup! Its awesome that they serve food really fast, so if youre starving, youll be very lucky. Its a bit crowded though, so for someone who prefers more space, then they might feel a bit uncomfortable. The waitress and server are very nice people! I love this restaurant!
Still a go-to for after so many years
Aburigato! I adore this establishment!! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the menu features frequent changes to the main dishes. This provides an incredible opportunity to explore a wide range of culinary experiences! I wholeheartedly endorse this venue!
The service and the place itself was great. Would visit again.
The customer service was extremely poor. The staff members were impolite, and when we sat down, they showed no interest in our table. We patiently waited for someone to approach us so we could order more, but they consistently ignored us. One of the staff members appeared constantly unhappy and even raised his voice at a nearby table. Furthermore, the food was only mediocre. When we ordered the Peking duck, the wraps were chewy and served lukewarm. The steamed fish also arrived with missing parts and looked unappetizing.
My kid loves their fried green beans. Vegetarian options: Lots of choices for vegetable dishes Food : 5/5 |
really good dim sum and some of the rice dishes were better than expected the atmosphere is nice but it s really small inside so it s can get really jam packed when trying to eat other than that it s a overall good place for some Chinese food
Food is ok. Nothing really special about it that would bring me back. Only thing about this place that needs improvement is cleanliness. Utensils are all chipped and bent, found a hair in the food, and chefs and waiters handle food without hair nets while having long, untied hair.
Excellent authentic Chinese food and great company here at the Asian Legend Restaurant in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Every dish is so salty that it s hard to stomach, like eating salt directly. The roast duck was also extremely unpalatable. I have never tasted such an unpalatable and stale duck. I will never come back again. I am extremely disappointed.
Very delicious and authentic Chinese food. Prompt service and good ambience, too.
Food is good and service is good as well. Decor is tradional as with all Asian Legend location. I knew the parents that started this chain, wonderful people. Happy the business is still going.
I can only say , if you go there dont leave without trying there dumplings. They are OMG. Parking: Parking is a bit difficult to find.
Where staff retraining is urgently needed. Servers never cared for customers after serving food. I had to wait for the server I couldnt even see. Especially the server without bang with hair tied up was very rude. I pressed Notip because I didnt get any service, but she kept on Younot giving me a tip. Ill give you Bill again. Do you want to tip us? They tried to get a tip like this, so I pretended not to understand. But you have to do your work to get paid and get tips. Boss needs to read the rest of the reviews as soon as possible.
It was very delicious to eat there, I just dont like Asian food
I love Asian Legend! My family always goes to the Richmond Hill location but I finally got to try the downtown one. Hot Chinese food always hits on a cold day We got the eggplant w/ vegetables, fried squid, and sizzling beef with satay sauce. Also got the scallion sliced beef pancake which was amazing
Prompt service but easy to miss while walking by. Wish they had a sign visible on street level. I always order the dumplings when I visit Asian Legend. The taste and seasonings(peanut sauce and red oil) are the tastiest version I ever had.
Decent option for Asian food in Toronto.
I think the food taste okay and pretty good, depending what you order. The service was horrible. That s why I never came back. Wouldn t recommend coming here if your in Chinatown. There is plenty of options here in the area. For the price you pay here, there shouldn t be rude people working here.
Food is decent but they are all over seasoned, a lot too salty (my preference only).
The phone does shut up and no one picks it up. We have to listen to it ringing the whole meal.
Authentic North China foods. Beijing duck, steamed dumplings are to the point.
It is better to go with lots of friends and share food rather than ordering one dish. The beef pancakes are my favorite
Consistent. One of my go-to take out spots in Chinatown
Asian Legend authentic Chinese food. Try it out. Amazing wanton!
Nice
Very rich place
TUINA.ca
I went on April 22nd, the quality of the food was so bad and doesnt taste good and it is overpriced. I dont recommend at all.
Chinese food at its best, Hong Kong style
If you like Chinese food, this is one of the best places in Chinatown.
fine
OK GOOGLE.CA
So happy to get a chance to taste some of the best northern chinese dishes
The service was great but the food were just ok.
The General Tao chicken was excellent. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. The service was fast, but I found the staff to be quite rude. The server (who had asked if we needed change when we paid cash) was listening to us talk and heard my partner ask my opinion on how much we should tip. The server said she should tip 15% and ignored us and avoided eye contact when we left our tip and said goodbye. Im not sure if she was hostile because she thought we werent going to leave a tip at all, but it was very abrupt and uncomfortable.
My go-to Chinese food place. When my parents visit, we always come here. I have ordered different dishes and never once disappointed! I d said their soup dumplings are top notch, probably the best in Toronto. I also really liked their green beans, dim sum, and ma po tofu.
Im too tired to eat salty soy milk and salty rice. I went to 900 Don Mills Weixiang Village this morning and ordered the salty rice with salty milk. I noticed something was wrong. I tried the sample. The salty soy milk was watery and had no texture. It was delicious. Everyone knows that salty soy milk will solidify a little when it comes to the table. However, half of the salty soy milk is still soy milk. There are no shrimps or mustard. Those few fried ghosts are like a few corpses floating in the Dead Sea. There is nothing. Attractive, I suspect that the kitchen chef forgot to add vinegar or soy sauce. The salty rice is just a layer of Bo Xixis pork floss, and there is no pickled mustard and the old fried dough sticks are a lot of oil. I immediately asked the waiter if you changed the chef. Half the time I couldnt eat enough, I paid the bill and left. The manager asked me what happened. I told the manager that the salted rice with salty paste and rice had a different taste than what I had eaten. I told the manager that I opened the restaurant and went to my home. Later, He said that the kitchen chef was a Li Dinggong, and he had prepared a rice cake for me to take home. I immediately said no. I took the trouble to tell people that I was looking for a bargain. I will definitely not go there next time on Tuesday. I will definitely be disappointed with the breakfast.
One of my favorite spots in Toronto for an epic meal. Great food and friendly and efficient waitstaff. Highly recommend
Cold dish x3!!! Do it!!!!!!!
A classic. Right across from the AGO. Family run. Amazing hot and sour soup.
The dim-sum selection was very vast and extraordinary as well as the rest of the menu. The decor was amazing and the service was quick and efficient. Definitely a top notch restaurant.
Excellent Peking duck and Dim Sum.
No wifi, food was good
Vegetarian options:
Went after many years and it was still as good as it used to be. Clean, upscale restaurant which is a rarity in this area. Good selection of dishes and decent portion size.
Nice clean modern decor, consistent quality standard with the Asian Legend chain, Northern Chinese fare with a few new Cantonese items. Braised beef noodle soup, pot stickers and steamed soup filled pork dumpling are my standards.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch today at Asian Legend. The food quality & taste were exceptional. Highly recommend A+++
Good service attitude and moderate price
Generally I like Asian legend and this one feels fairly on par food wise. Lots of variety and food is generally good. Lots of little options but it adds up really quick. Best to stick with one main you want to get more value. Service was okay and fairly quick. Located in its own building and has no parking. If youre lucky, you may find some metered street parking out front or youll have to use one of the municipal parking lots and walk the couple blocks. Not accessible as there are stairs, but thats unfortunately how many shops in this area are. They have some good foods they are good at. So if you know what you want. Its worth visiting.
food taste delicious but kindda expensive for the serving size.
Loved the taste of everything I tried from the menu, good vegetarian options (garlic fried tofu, egg plant, fried rice, mushroom with greens) The scallion pancakes are a world apart from the many places I ve tried Chinatown so highly recommended for that. Well priced, clean and spacious. Our party of 8 was well looked after.
Everything is SO DELICIOUS, and the portions are huge
Best Asian food hands down
2 of us got there and ordered 2 dim sum plates, 2 hot plates, and 1 for takeout. While the dim sum arrived on time, it took nearly 1 hour and a half until they brought the next plates. We were going hungry watching a table that arrived 15 minutes after us eat their food that somehow arrived before ours. We raised the issue 3 times, and it was clear they messed up our order or prioritized other tables. We overheard another 10 sized table have similar issues and they got an apology, maybe even some freebies, but for just the 2 of us, nothing. Servers were completely rude because we complained about the lateness of out food, no apologies for bad service either. Don t go there unless you want to wait for hours on end to get your food. The quality wasn t that good either, just passable.
Terrible service, food came in very late for our small party and they only noticed when we complained several times about it. Servers are extremely rude. Food quality is at best passable. The only saving grace is the decent modern decor inside. Not worth it for the trouble of being treated as second rate if you don t order a lot.
Service was excellent and fast. Food was authentic, delicious and very very tasty. There was a robot server going between the tables and the kitchen... awesome! Would definitely recommend this restaurant
It s been a long time since I ve eaten at this branch, and I ordered three items today the soup was normal, the Shanghai stir-fried had too much oil, the shredded pork was too overcooked and was too old, and the pan-fried buns were also too oily the meat was too strong. !
Great service, good food always, very consistent.
We ordered 4 items for takeout, and unfortunately, I didnt take pictures. The pan fried pork potstickers were fine. The glutinous rice roll with pork floss was fine. The jelly fish salad had a peculiar fishy taste that we havent experienced with jellyfish before. But what was really bad was the noodles with minced pork in Peking sauce, something we have ordered quite a few times. The sauce was not sauce. It was some kind of weird broth. We thought we had been given soup by mistake, but after reviewing the menu, we saw no soup that resembled what we were given. Nothing on the menu resembled what we were given. We didnt realize this until we got home in Burlington. If we lived closer, we would have definitely returned to Asian Legend to get a replacement. We wont be returning to this particular Asian Legend.
Great service and fabulous food
good foods
The duck was not crunchy at all even though the waitress reassured it would be. Weird taste and pricey for the lack of quality. Additionally, the waitress pointed loudly out that we tipped her too little even though it was a reasonable amount. Which was very uncomfortable for everyone there. Being a waitress myself I would never say that even if someone doesn t tip. All in all would never go back or recommend to anyone.
Amazing food at a good price and great service.
They told me my order would be ready at 8:30. I got there at 8:20, to make sure I could pick it up the moment it came out of the kitchen, so it would still be hot when I got home. Imagine my surprise when they said they had no record of my order. Fifteen minutes of confusion followed. I wrote out my entire order again, figuring maybe they could at least make it quickly. Then it turned out the entire order had been sitting there all along, since before I got there. No apology, no attempt to make up for the screw-up. Thanks for the cold soup dumplings and soggy duck, Asian Legend. Next time Ill order from somewhere else.
Truly the best soup dumplings in town.
Dont order their couples lung slices. It only has lung slices and no beef. Haha, the dishes served during the lockdown are a bit expired. I got diarrhea after eating it twice.
The best location of them all. This Asian Legend has the most consistent quality of food. Great location. Love to bring friends, family and colleagues here. Love their soup-filled dumplings, dan-dan noodles, and savoury sticky rice rolls.
Nice restaurant with good quality food.
Yes I visited this place and its looks quite good going but I have not yet get full experience because I just visited only one time.
Great food. Always fresh and reasonably priced.
Nice foods
A must visit restaurant. They follow covid protocols in a manner you dont even notice. The food is exquisite
It was still delicious, but the braised beef soup was a bit salty. The tofu is fried very tender.
Good restaurant, food a bit dry though, especially the steamed rice, might be because it was an hour before closing time.
DON T ORDER! First they really don t aNt your business. When you call they keep hanging up! That should be a warning. Then when I called to tell them that I was missing part of the order the person who answered the phone says she has to check with her manager!!! I waited 10 minutes and called back! The answer was that the manager saw the girl pack it! Well it wasn t there!! I was not driving back to restaurant with the order to prove it and she told me to take a picture and email it! Still waiting for the response and the food is cold! !!!!! Joanne Gap s review is the honest review see below
Very nice decor, cordial service, good quality food.
Predictably delicious, quality Chinese food including dim sum. Bit of a contrast from other authentic Chinese restaurants in the area, thats a good thing in my opinion. Note however, that you will pay a bit more but its worth it. Portions are generous.
Tasty pork belly with preserved vegetables.
My husband LOVES general tsao chicken and this is his favourite, the flavour is perfect and the right crisp on the chicken. I m a dumpling addict, and their soup dumplings and juicy and delicious, packed with flavour and warmth. Great prices as well
Checked covid passport and food arrived quickly and tasted good. The server was attentive and everyone was spaced out.
Even appetizers are amazing. If you are not allergy with shrimps, you must try Minced Shrimps with Vegetables in Lettuce Wrap , one of my favorites
One of the better places in Chinatown. Decent food at average price point. Seating can be quite tight. Impossible to find parking, so consider taking public transit instead. They have larger tables which can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Delicious food
Good food!
First time at this location and last. Everything from the noodle dishes to the soup was rushed when cooked and was seriously underwhelming, even for Chinese food. Skip this place, there are many in the other that are much better.
Best hot n sour soup in the city!
Green Beans #109 (I think) is delicious, garlic and spice love it!! Also yummy wonton soup. I was there last night for takeout wonderful staff and such yummy food.
