I got the schezuan chilli chicken and chilli chicken and couldn't tell the difference. Rice was average. Quantity is sufficient. Nothing that I would crave for, could improve the taste.
I asked for Chili chicken, all they gave was veggies and 3 small piece of chicken. I asked her to give more chicken and she said she will try. Won’t come back again.
My husband and I arrived before noon to beat the office lunch rush. The ladies were so kind, the place was extremely clean, food was tasty and offered great value. Lots of vegetarian options too.
Good portion sizes, reasonable value downtown. Chili chicken or general tso chicken, fried rice and mixed veggies are my go to.
Good price and hits the spot for American Chinese food. A bit heavy/oily though.
Eating here for 10 years now, food quality , quantity and service kept the same through the whole time, which is hard to find in downtown Toronto. You can count on it opens during less busy seasons. Come and check out during Monday, Friday, and days between Christmas and New Year. They gave me so much that enough for 2 meals!!!
Update 3: What I like about that place is that they have good variety of meat, chicken and sea food… the served quantity is good enough for me Update 2: The one choice box price increased 3$ but the quantity/ box size doubled Quantities are big but it is kinda need more taste Update 1: Food not fresh, noodle sticking together , sesame chicken is old and chewy
Authentic dim sim is available here. They even store them in bamboo steaming containers before they sell them to you. There is more variety here than anywhere else in the PATH.
Food was good, not too fond of the chicken I got but the sweet and sour pork rice and noodles were very yummy.
This is hands down the best Chinese fast food in the city. Ignore the bad reviews. This place is awesome.
All the food are too salty
Was a quick lunch! Not bad.
Friendly staff, hot and tasty. Great for lunch or on the go.
As a Chinese person it is impossible to find authentic Chinese food in food courts for a quick bite but this is fantastic and very authentic! Great diversity in the platter with Chinese food from Sichuan all the way to Hong Kong. Will come again.
I ate there earlier, there fried rice had a bulk of salt which i swallowed. Told the lady and she didnt even bother to provide me with a new container. Told and showed her where it was. She just added noodles which doesnt make sense. Would not recommend this place.
Have tried their dim sum several times just because its the only place within a reasonable walk in the Path. Grabbed dim dum pieces late in the day - full price even though they had the usual end of day cheap containers. I know they have been sitting there since 11 a.m., but I was hungry. Got rushed through by the server even though there were no other customers. Asked for chili oil to go with the vinegar for dipping after paying and was told its $0.50 - I offered to pay, but they wouldnt take plastic for such a small amount. How was I supposed to know they started charging for chili oil? I bought your old shu mai and youre complaining about $0.50 paid by plastic when nobody downtown carries cash? Yeah, Ill save my dim sum cravings for when I can grab an Uber elsewhere.
Always hits right ant lunch hour and the staff are super friendly.
Hmmmm that was awful. Ive had the sesame chicken and sweet and sour pork a couple of times before and it was ok...edible. This time ...blah.. i think it was mixed with other stuff (spicy). Also some of the meat was dried out hard. I dont think i will come here again Food
The food here is nasty. I ordered two chicken items and noodles. Both of the chicken items did not taste like chicken at all, very hard pieces and had a foul smell.
Its been awhile since Ive been here (thanks Covid), but when Im downtown it is definitely a go to spot for a quick and tasty meal. Definitely doesnt get the love like its nextdoor neighbor, but its still good nonetheless
Hainanese Chicken, oh my god so good.
Green onion and ginger chicken is as good as it get+ broccoli+book Choi+carrot vegetable mix is a healthy lunch. Anything steam as well would be a healthy choice.
Blah. Nothing special here. Fills the hole but wont make you happy about it.
Obsessed with the steamed dumplings!! My weekly treat :) Staff is so friendly. Thank you!
I stop by for lunch at least once, every couple weeks. Friendly people, food is decent. I like that they have some dim sum items.
Awful!
Awful place! Service is terrible! Worst I ever had. ..wouldnt even give a star. Food has no taste. Only desperate people go here and I was desperate! But regretted it after! And soooo expensive for such an terrible meal!
Best breakfast
Around $10 for base+2 meats, so fairly standard pricing. Got fried noodles and 2 chickens. Noodles were fair, given dt asian food court expectations. The meat tho was way too salty. Or rather the flavoring was too heavy, and this is coming from someone who generally eats heavily favoured foods. The meat felt like it had more batter than meat. So even the heavy flavoring couldnt cover the low-quality meat. Couldnt finish the meal. Note to self, no repeat.
Overpriced imo. The sweet and sour chicken I got was terrible tasting I could barely eat it. I had to leave it.
By far the worst chinese place I have ever eaten. The rice taste like plastic, and the food tastes old and synthetic. Better chinese places in foodcourts nearby
Service could be better. I go there as its the only place that offers congee downtown. But it is overpriced and super plain. They also have sticky rice rolls with fritter inside and egg and shredded dried pork. Which is nostalgic to me
The price is a little bit expensive and the dumpling is half raw, even with raw flour and sticky stuff on it.
Received inedible rice. For the price of the meal, I should be able to enjoy the whole thing. Avoid this place and find a Szechuan express.
