I'm person who doesn't like to eat stir-fried tripe, but here it is prepared very deliciously and makes me remember that flavor forever. Although my friend and I arrived at the restaurant quite late at 11pm, the service staff was very enthusiastic. I will definitely come back here many more times.
My husband raved about the food so he took me there on a Saturday night. The food was good, lots of flavour/spices and the meat skewers were very meaty. I especially loved the chicken skewer! It was very tasty as it was marinated. However I didn’t enjoy the cucumber jelly fish. The jelly fish had dots along all the edges. The staff reassured us that it’s edible. But it made me extremely uncomfortable to eat and to even look at. When I ate it, i could feel all the bumps in my mouth. It makes me cringe to even think about 😭 so beware!! the staff were very nice but the floors and tables were a bit sticky.
I recently visited Fuji Lamb House, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with their barbecue offerings. The lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection with nice tender meat on the inside. In addition to the lamb skewers, I also tried their beef and chicken, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. The portion size was okish and I found myself going back for seconds. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with attentive service and a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. Overall, I highly recommend Fuji Lamb House for anyone looking for delicious barbecue food in a great setting. I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their offerings.😋
The service and atmosphere exceed expectations for such an affordable spot. The lamb skewers and seafood skewers are excellent, and the other dishes are also very tasty. Highly recommended. It's my favorite eatery after a typically disappointing round of golf
To start, the restaurant is a bit weird cause no music playing in the background. You hear other dinners conversation. The food came in ok temperature. But the snow pea sprouts are very old and very difficult to chew. Service is good and able to accommodate my no spicy request. The worse part is I had diarrhea afterwards. Not sure if it’s too oily or food quality issue.
I’m a frequent patron of this restaurant. It’s one of my favourite because of its special flavour and the friendly price. In this restaurant, it’s very hard to tell a dish by names. Many great dishes bears a common name, but you can always find some good surprises from them. Following are the dishes you can feel free to order: 酸菜白肉,蒜泥羊肉,吊炉饼,葱油饼,打卤面,老虎菜.
The restaurant offers generous portions for most of their dishes. We ordered 3dishes + pancake for two people, and we couldn't finish them all, so we ended up taking some leftovers home. The mutton soup had minimal gamey taste and was quite enjoyable. A big plus is that they offer unlimited refills for the soup, which is commendable. Surprisingly, the best dish turned out to be the chicken. They were exceptionally delicious and had an amazing aroma. On the other hand, the braised mutton was a bit underwhelming as the flavors hadn't fully penetrated the meat. However, after taking it home and stewing it further, the taste improved considerably. The pancakes were fragrant and tasty, but the portion size was a little on the smaller side. Overall, the restaurant provides a satisfying dining experience with its ample portions and some standout dishes, making it worth a visit.
Been here more than 4 times. Food is always authentic and flavourful. Lamb skewers and lamb soup are must order dishes. Good spot to come with friends and family. Quick service. You might be seated at a foldable table and be given plastic cutlery on a busy day. But the good food makes up for it. Parking is free but limited.
Amazing value, great taste, not too spicy. The entrance is behind the building, through the parking lot.
Taste good for that kind of food and lamb soup is amazing, average price, a bit crowded but still ok to dine in, parking is scarce
The food tastes OK and highly recommended
The food is definitely not fresh. Be careful of food poisoning.
Used to be very good. But sadly the quality and freshness has gone down the drain. Draft beer is a awful. If it s that bad, just take it off the menu.
Haven t been here for almost year. I visited it yesterday and the quality of food is sharply decreased. Very disappointed. Used to be my favourite. Won t come back.
The mutton soup is really amazing and very fresh.
I haven t reviewed it for many years. This restaurant doesn t advertise at all. The environment inside the store is really bad, but they take the value-for-money route. The barbecue and unlimited lamb soup are my orders every time. Now the smoked chicken Yes, it s so big that it can t fit in a packaging box, but it tastes very good.
Ordered from Uber Eats. The best lamb and rice ever! I will definitely be back. Also, I NEVER tasted eggplant as perfect as this! We enjoyed everything. Thank you. Sorry, no pictures because we enjoyed this so much!
The food is good but some lady staffs were against our decision when we want to sit on the Patio and after being seated outside, a lady staff member was just standing at the entrance door and wanted us to get up and walk over to them and give the order in a piece of paper. Male staff was the one who allowed us to sit outside, it was only 8pm, not even late at night.
I ordered a takeout that was supposed to be pure lamb, but when I received it, I found vermicelli and corn at the bottom. This is unacceptable, the food is not safe
The best BBQ and northern od China delicious food in Toronto
The bbq skewers were really good, especially for the price, but the service could have been better
As a lamb lover I really enjoyed the dishes, they are delicious and very reasonably priced. I have just one small suggestion to make the dining experience better: I wish they d remove the open-lid trash bins from the dining area, because we sat not too far from them and it was unappetizing to look at when you re eating. If they are willing to do that, this would be the best place to eat at all times in the GTA for sure!
Fantastic Food and Drinks, but Service Needs Improvement Ive been a regular at this place since 2020, and its been one of my favorite spots for both food and drinks. Ive never had any issues with the quality of their meals or liquor theyre consistently top-notch. The atmosphere is great, and I always enjoy my time there. However, the service at the counter can be hit or miss. While the language barrier is understandable, Ive noticed that sometimes the staff seem to prioritize serving customers who speak their language, which can feel a bit off-putting. A little more attention to all customers, regardless of language, would go a long way in improving the overall experience. That being said, its still a great place to visit for the food and drinks, and I hope the customer service improves to match the quality of everything else they offer.
The taste is very authentic and the business is very good!
If you like lamb and BBQ, here is the place to go. Very tasty food and price is fair.
Beef skewers, fried rice, and the green onion pancakes are excellent. The cheap beer is nice too. They can definitely work on the cleanliness of the place and the service. Place looks run down a bit. Overall a great place to go to late night.
Ordered takeout. Its obviously not as delicious as before. Why do mutton skewers smell like Laoganma? The cumin flavor is missing the soul. The most shocking time! No two. The hanging oven cake is still okay.
The food are so tasty and not so spicy. We go there again with friends.
The boss from Northeast China is very down to earth. Mutton skewers, mutton soup, and grilled beef tongue are very delicious. The rice dumplings were not good enough, so they were refunded. Cash discount, five people are fully fed with a tip of 110. Will stay again.
I must say the food was awesome. I loved the atmosphere. The beer was great and affordable and I really loved the spicy chicken bone dish. It was well worth the money. Will be visiting again with company.
Food is good, service is just OK. Cash discount.
Food is solid 4 stars. We ordered the lamb skewers (fatty, well spiced, could have used more salt), the cold jelly noodles / Liang pi which were absolutely perfect!! The cold jelly noodles had a great balance between salty, spicy, and acidity. This is definitely one of my favourite Northern Chinese dishes and I crave it constantly. Now I know where to go. We also got a tomato egg hand pulled noodle soup and the lamb innards soup. The noodle soup was decent with a good amount of sourness from the tomato and a surprising amount of umami, but doesnt have any meat in it. The hand pulled noodles were seriously good! Lamb innards soup was a bit funky and didnt have much in it. But they do give free refills of the soup to take away which is nice. Service is surprisingly friendly if you speak Chinese, not sure if the servers speak good English. Would return for the cold noodles and Id love to try their dumplings and other noodle dishes.
The price is good when you pay cash. Food is a delicious.
One of my favourite Northern Chinese BBQ places. Lamb and Beef skewers vary in quality, but are usually good picks. Get the Liang Pi and the Lamb soup. Draft beer pitchers are affordable as well.
First time here, used to be a regular at the Xin Jiang. Other than price increasing because of inflation the food is about the same as I remembered. Can t beat that price for a pitcher of beer too. We got a load of food for 2 people; pork belly and tentacle skewers, eggplant stir fry, sweet and sour pork, BBQ cabbage, cold noodles, BBQ corn, BBQ scallops. Food is delicious while hot. One thing that turned us off was we are CBC and not looking like a mainlander or speak Mandarin they kept trying to speak to us in Mandarin. Even though we pointed out we speak Cantonese and English. Last straw was them trying to ask us if we wanted the bill after being there an hour. People around us ordered less food, were there before us but weren t asked to leave. Not sure if preferential treatment because Mandarin speakers but seemed like we were singled out. Would go back again for the food.
Great place for beer and various accompaniments. Their cool cucumber, skewer lamb, and skewer fish are great options. Definitely worth a shot with friends. Their in-house beer is very cheap, tastes good, not flat. Food
The lamb chops were okay, and the others were just average, not particularly surprising to me.
This is the best place to eat lamb, especially when you have a big group of people
I ate it several times before and it felt good. This time three friends came to eat it and they all became Splatoon. That dish is definitely not clean.
Please use fresh ingredients. We went to dinner with friends several times, but we always came home with diarrhea and vomiting. We have complained to the Toronto Food Control Department. Please stop using expired and inferior meat immediately. Everyone should be careful about poisoning
Definitely my favorite restaurant in Toronto! My boyfriend and I ordered three dishes: fried cabbage, BBQ lamb, and Fuji Casserole Lamb Pot. All dishes are delicious. The cabbage is crispy and fresh. The lamb is chewy and juicy. The portions are amazingly generous and price is reasonable. Would recommend this restaurant to all my friends coming to Toronto!
The mutton soup was okay, and the others were about average. The key is that there is room for improvement in food hygiene.
Came here for the second time this year. Its all meat and very delicious. Very good value for money. The landlady is very enthusiastic!
We were there in January for my dads birthday and he had been looking forward to the famous one lamb, cooked ten different ways. The soup was FANTASTIC and exceeded all my expectations. There is PLENTY of food so make sure you bring your crew and an appetite otherwise youll have lots of leftovers. Its very meat heavy and some of the dishes were a bit too dry or spicy for my tastes but it was definitely a unique and memorable meal. The restaurant was very busy and its rather cozy so we were packed in pretty tightly. The staff were very busy and did their best. The owners were very accommodating though with my reservation. Definitely a must try!
The mutton soup is really average, full of MSG, and the broth used is white. It is better to just drink the pre-made cooking package.
The lamb soup was sweet. Not authentic. Don t recommend.
My first visit to this restaurant as well as my last I invited my friends to come for dinner and one of them had peanuts allergies, I reminded the staff three to four times that they had to make sure no peanuts in all dishes that we ordered, I was told that they were confirmed and made sure there wasnt any peanuts. Unfortunately, there was one dish still contained peanuts, it almost killed my friend Peanuts allergies are a serious issue, I was so disappointed that this restaurant didnt treat it seriously, for those people who have food allergies should not coming to this restaurant
The lamb soup is super delicious
I got diarrhea the day after eating at this restaurant last night. (March 20)
Lamb skewers really good and Lamb soup also good.
The food was horrible. The lamb is full of fat and everything was a spicy we didnt ask for spicy and they said we not going to change and you have to pay . The service was so bad and the manager was so rude Kid-friendliness: Is not good place for kids everything spicy
some of the food was raw and not very fresh the services is terrible
Like the food and atmosphere. Service is fast and convenient.
food is good here, recommend! I ordered fried chicken rack, beef and mutton skewers, cabbage, and fried rice. The last three were the most delicious. The chicken rack and cabbage were well seasoned, the fried rice was oily and delicious, the meat skewers could be a little tenderer, and the chicken rack was OK. Plan to go there again to try other dishes. Went on New Years Day and there was still a wait for a table at 8pm. Leave your phone number and you can sit in the car and wait for him to call you. Not bad .
1 lamb 10 style. Awesome!!!
Really good lamb, good flavours, food overall was great! Staff was also great, regardless of the language barrier. Id be happy to come back here again.
This is a Chinese restaurant featuring northeastern cuisine with lamb dishes and BBQ. They are quite busy, every time we came in, it s very busy and noisy! Service is average Chinese style service. Seatings are very tight and not comfortable. The food quality here is good though: 1. Bbq lamb kabobs 4/5 2. Bbq mantou 4/5 3. Bbq chicken wings 4/5 4. 4/5 5. 5/5 6. Lamb soup 4/5 7. Fried cabbage 4/5 The overall food quality is consistent, will come back. Kid-friendliness: You can ask for non spicy version of bbq for kids
Poor taste and poor service. I don t want to come here a second time.
tasty!
This restaurant made me a fan of Chinese cuisine
The food is ok and the portion is fair. The lamb soup didnt have much flavour. The service is good and they keep up with things. The food arrived pretty quickly.
food is good with reasonable price.
The grilled chicken rack has no taste, there is very little shredded chicken, and the chicken is not very fresh
The service from the man was very terrible.
Recommend chicken rack, spicy and salty
This place is not what it used to be. Terrible service. Food now is extremely salty. Almost every item we ordered felt like it was dipped in salt.
This place is a mess. Bad attitude. Poor customer service. Challenging ordering system. Very salty food. I wouldnt recommend this place. Not sure what has changed as previous years the food and service was good. Now it looks like it went down the sink.
We made a reservation for a company dinner for 8-10 people. The seat we were given told us that it can seat 8 people. Can you try to seat four young men in a row? Let s see how you eat. You can eat with your arms crossed, okay? Its not an excuse, this service is enough once.
Hidden gem! Really happy I went into this establishment given the sketchiness from outdoor parking lot.
Too busy, too messy, food safety not secured. The waitress keep coming to push us while we were still eating. They started to clean up the table while we were still in our seats. It gave us a chance to witness that: They placed cleaned tableware (for the next batch of customers) on the table not cleaned yet. The tableware was sprayed (contaminated) by some unknown detergent they sprayed carelessly.
Place was pretty busy when we arrived. We ordered home style lamb, fried beans, cucumber & jelly fish, lamb skewers and hot & sour soup. Didnt enjoy the taste of the hot & sour soup - I would not order again. All other dishes were great! Ordering process is with your phone and QR code on table. We got our order fairly quick after ordering. Wait staff was attentive when we needed them. Overall very experience and will visit again.
Good food. Ok-ish price. It used to be way cheaper for skewers but justinflation soo the skewers that used to be $4.95 are now $9. Still taste good like before.
I went specifically for the blood sausage. The blood sausage was crumbly and not hot inside. I felt a little disappointed. Maybe it was cooked in a hurry? The mutton kebabs are pretty good. Grilled shaobing = fried shaobing, very oily. The mutton soup is also pretty good. Thats all.
The lamb skewers are good but recently the take out bag had lamb sauce all over it. It was dark and we didnt see until the next day. It leaked all over our perforated car seat. Now we have to clean the lamb fat out of every hole. Please be careful and double bag guys, so it doesnt happen to another customer.
This place was introduced to me by my friend. Great for skewers and noodles! Its also great for a late night snack. If you like spicy food, this will hit the spot. They also have extremely cheap beer.
The fourth time I got the takeout order wrong, I didnt have the interest or patience to drive back and ask them to change it. Every time I called, I always ordered cold mutton noodles, but today was the fourth time I was served mutton soup noodles. I really had no interest in this at all. I used to like to eat here with my friends and thought it tasted good. But now when friends get together for dinner, they say they dont want to come back to this place because of the waiters problems and other problems. I really wanted to eat cold pan noodles, so I thought I d order it again and give it a try. Because I had missed it several times before, I checked with the waiter. But it was still wrong to take it home today. I couldn t eat it myself, so I could only give it to my family. I wanted to buy something to eat when I went out in the middle of the night, but I ended up going out and still hungry when I got home. This was really annoying every time.
The first recommendation is the pot-wrapped pork, which tastes very good. Sheep and scorpion have a lot of meat, so I thought they would have more bones. The barbecue is generally quite satisfactory, with the taste of Northeastern barbecue from domestic roadside stalls.
The pot pork yyds is crispy enough, and the mutton soup is also good
Best lamb skewers, been going here for years and it never disappoints
The waiter who gave me the money for todays meal posted two things and said he gave me the money. After asking the surveillance camera, he said he didnt understand and gave it to me later. But I said I had too much to drink? Or your IQ is better than mine. Im really speechless. Just dont go there again. You must pay attention to the purpose of settling accounts.
I dont know if it was due to a change of chef or cost cutting, but the taste is much worse than before. The haggis soup is not as strong as before, the fragrance of the oven-roasted pancakes is not as good as before, the sauce of the big noodles is not as refreshing as before, and the seasoning of the grilled eggplant mainly depends on the hot sauce... The most outrageous thing is that my wife has a stomachache after eating the grilled chicken rack. I felt sick to my stomach after drinking the haggis soup. I used to go to this store several times a year, but now I never want to go there again.
Cheap beer. Cheap food. Tastes great
Had the thick noodles, lamb skewer, and chilli chicken. All delicious! Great drink prices too.
Liangpi is pink and hard, Yellow croaker and chicken wings are deep-fried and hard, and mutton skewers are deep-fried. I just finished ordering and not all the dishes were served. The kitchen last called at 12 oclock. I just finished two skewers and asked to pay first, and then started to order. Sweep the floor around you, mop the floor with bleach, and the entire guests dine with the smell of bleach, garbage
Really awesome and large lamb skewer. The chicken and beef skewers were a bit dry. Lamb soup is worth trying if you like pepper.
I have been eating here for two years, and today it tastes terrible. I am disappointed. Every dish is not as good as before. I feel like the chef has changed.
The food here is better than the surrounding skewer spots. The only problem is almost non-existent parking in this plaza. But there are neighboring plazas to park nearby.
The mutton soup can be refilled for free and can also be taken away. This is an advantage. The disadvantage is that it is easy to gain weight. The mutton skewers are really good, not fat and still delicious.
Northern taste is very good
Typical Chinese skewer restaurant. Price is reasonable and food is good. Fried dishes are good.
Been going there for years but this is my last visit. First the quantities have reduced by almost half and the prices have went up like crazy. The quality over the last few times has been absolutely horrible.
The mutton soup is good, and they offer free refills. The grilled whole squid is also delicious!
I won t go, I ll go to Master Yang to buy it. See you again.
Fuji Lamb House has been around for quite a while, we drove by often and always saw a large crowd in the restaurant. We went to the restaurant on a Sunday evening, its about 80% full. We placed our order using a QR code, our food came within a short time (very efficient service). The BBQ lamb skewers are tasty and tender, there were sprinkles of MSG on the skewers, I wish they had not done that, because I am allergic to MSG! We also ordered lamb soup and it was also very good and tasty. Overall a good dining experience.
City-wide technology and ruthless goods
Not bad, not bad
Amazing! This place serves north eastern Chinese food, I strongly recommend the lamb soup and {Fried Green peper Potato and Eggplant) with some BBQ skewers.
Very good northern Chinese bbq lamb skewers, also had a very good tomato egg noodle soup with handmade noodles. Egg drop was very good, not clumpy and perfectly cooked. Prices were very reasonable, but be very careful if you have a nut allergy as many dishes have it. The staff are willing to accommodate the allergy, but check before ordering.
Lamb lamb lamb. Wow ! There is alot of lamb options here. My friend ordered fish and unfortunately it has freezer burn and it wasn t so great. My friend and I both had upset stomachs. The lamb soup was gamy . First lamb dish was too oily. Not sure if we would come back.
Portions have gotten alot smaller, and alot more expensive. Quality also isnt what it used to be. Service is very rude compared to before. They came for last call at 12:30, and brought the bill when they said last call. We ordered some more food so they took the bill back and brought it back right away. Asked us for the money 3 times before the food came out, and asked are you done yet rudely as we were counting the cash. I dont expect great service but this was exceptionally rude. Not worth going back, this place is washed. Alot better skewer places out there
This place used to be good. Feels like the original owner is no longer here and the staff doesn t care. I can understand with raising food cost that the portions would be less, but it seems excessive. Sadly no longer a favourite between me and my friends.
Used to be great but not anymore. Long line up recently and kitchen is short staffed on weekend at 830 pm. Food portion are smaller but quaility is still ok. But you have to get use to them busing and clearing your with a smelly large garbage can. They spray you table very clean with something that smell like industrial hospital cleaner. AND dont get me started about their DIRTY washrooms.
Hidden gem in Scarborough, if you know you know. Good food, good service.
Best food in the city for skewers and best fried rice
The bosss service attitude is good, the food tastes good, some kebabs are a bit salty
The food used to be good...Now the food is in smaller portion and taste salty. Services getting real bad, or zero service at all. I scan the menu, order it, eat all, and I have to walk to frontdesk to pay. Dude how much effort does it take to walk to my desk with a machine? This is not cool
Bad
The owner of Fuji didnt want to open a good store after making money. He drove a yellow Lambo and really felt that Toronto was endless. He didnt know what he was cooking. It tasted terrible. It was expensive and tipping was mandatory. The mutton soup tasted just like that. Technology and hard work, I really can t stand it. I m really speechless . And that waiter, does this store belong to you? You are pretending to be an uncle. You are just a part-time worker. Why should you be so competitive with customers
I used to go there often, but now I feel that the food is very annoying, the service is basically non-existent, and the price is extremely expensive. Two people over 80 don t know what they ate, and the taste is not as good as before. In short, I will not go there again.
The portion has become less, the mutton soup tastes weird, the mouth is full of technology, and the enoki mushroom and beef skewers are cold when served? I was immediately made to spit out after one bite. The cooking skills were uneven after eating there twice, and it was extremely expensive. No one served me. I used disposable tableware and had to go to the front desk to pay and tip myself. I never want to go there again. Yeah, it s nothing
To be very objective, the food was fine. I gave a tip of $5 when I paid in cash. Why should I give it if there was no service, because I am sure your food is good, but the front desk asked me for a minimum tip of 10%, and The front desk was so mean. What do you mean? You cant leave without giving, right? I gave them 10% in the end, but I wont go there again. Objectively speaking, the food was OK, I gave a $10 tip when I paid in cash, but why should I give it for no service, because Im sure the food was good, but the front desk asked me for a minimum tip of 10%, and the front desk was very nasty, what does that mean? I finally gave them 10%, but I wont go back.
Food is fine. Bad customer service.
If you want to get diarrhea and food poisoning come and try this This restaurant has been exposed for yelling at customers who did not tip for their McDonald service. The server did no service but cursing the customers lmao.
From the time I scanned the QR code to order, I couldnt find anyone to ask for recommended dishes, pour water, and pack my own bags. There was no service during the whole process, and I didnt even talk to the waiter. How dare you ask for a tip when you check out? I said that I didn t see any service so I didn t give a tip. As a result, the waiter shouted loudly in the restaurant, Look, this person ordered an order of 80 and didn t even give a penny of tip. In front of everyone in the restaurant, he shouted, I m the boss of Fuji. Let me tell you, not to mention that tipping is voluntary, is it right for you to take the initiative to tip? Tipping itself is never something that is naturally included in the cost of a meal. It is a form of praise and gratitude for the service received. You have no service. Of course I didnt tip. Not to mention the final character humiliation of your waiter, which is really a shame for life. I will continue to speak out about this experience on social media and other media channels. I went there at 5 pm on April 19th. It will be unforgettable in my life. The boss also sends text messages to curse people later. He is really cool. Look at his attitude. You can search this phone number on Google. It belongs to his boss.
The hotpot meat and mutton skewers are delicious. The service is pretty good. I don t understand why there are so many bad reviews about bad service.
rotten
A barbecue restaurant that I often pass by, very suitable for friends to gather and chat. It was my first time to eat there and I was amazed! Affordable prices but no credit cards accepted. The clerk Sophia is a beautiful and friendly Xinjiang Uighur beauty. She is very nice and I like her very much! I will go to this store often in the future to eat delicious roasted lamb legs and nourishing lamb pot, it tastes great!
Great local place. Worth trying out.
Affordable, nice place to hangout and will be busy on weekends especially after 6pm
The place serves delicious food, and its moderately priced. The portions are filling, so you dont have to worry about starving yourself. Id recommend the skewered pork belly, skewered lamb, and their popcorn chicken. All delicious. The atmosphere isnt much to write about. Its a bit dingy with some dim lighting. The tables and seating arent the best, but thats not necessarily why youre there. However, this may turn some people off from eating here. The parking lot is quite small, and thats not the only eatery in the area. In the end its all about the food and its something you should try. Recommend the food despite the dingy atmosphere and limited parking.
11 Dollar Pitchers of Beer!!!!! If youre interested in food, I guess Fujis got you covered as well. The skewers here are meatier than the ones your auntie makes for your family get-togethers. Plump, juicy and full of flavour! Gotta go with the lamb soup too, innards all the way. Cooked low and slow so every piece simply melts in your mouth. Honestly there are so many deliciously looking dishes on the menu, we couldnt decide what to order! For my more Canadian friends out there reading this, BBQ is a safe bet but if youre more adventurous, theres plenty of off-the-beaten-path options as well, ie. Any part of the lamb you can think of *wink*. If you want to be teleported from Scarborough to China just by walking through a door, look no further! The decor says it all and I cant get enough of it. Im not a huge fan of Chinese rice wines but the walls are lined with dozens of bottles of them, and you can even order yourself a bottle, but be prepared to dish out the dough. Anyway, like I said - 11 Dollar Pitchers! And the soup. 3 thumbs up!
This is absolutely a good choice for midnight express.
For such a busy place, it is surprisingly quiet. You dont feel like you have to talk loud to be heard, and it feels cozy. Food is great. Honestly my fav skewer place in this neighbourhood. Food is served quick, and the quality is great. The only downside is that sometimes you have to remind them on your order so they bring everything. Ive been there 4 times and all 4 times, one dish is delayed until we brought it up.
The best restaurant for Northern Chinese cuisine. Theyre amazing at their service & their food is very very authentic. Loved them.
One of the older Chinese BBQ places. Was good when there were no other options. Now it feels lackluster. Food : 3/5
Everything ordered were delicious :)
Yyds
They refused to take my take out order coz I only ordered one dish! I always go to their place in past 10 years, so disappointed.
I rarely leave a negative review. Infact, this place was a huge part of my lockdown routine. But this week, i called and ordered for pick up like i usually do before. To my surprise, they said if Im only ordering 1 item, they cannot take my order. Ive never heard of a place that had a minimum price to order yall gotta be joking me. Why is that even a policy. What has happened to this place. I used to order soo much food from here. It just so happened that i was only craving that one dish. But i guess it aint worth their time? Quite disappointed.
Like others have said, lamb skewer is quite good. Interior is okay, but they can renovate the bathrooms. Server kept speaking Chinese even though I made it clear that i cant speak Chinese. Im used to it but it can be bothersome to some people
So delicious
Delicious, especially lamp soup.
delicious yummy yummy
Very delicious. Affordable too.
If youre looking for various kinds of meat skewers, this is your place. Open late too for late night cravings.
Love their lamb skewers and spicy lamb with cumin.
A little bit salty..
The best BBQ place.
A very popular restaurant specializing in lamb dishes. I highly recommend the lamb soup, it was super flavourful with free refills (soup only). The stir-fried bean sprouts and lamb skewers was very tasty as well. Interior seating is limited, there are outdoor seating, but disposable dishes were used for outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the washroom was very disgusting.
Always busy. Food came pretty quick. Not sure if its expensive or not, we (2 ppl) spent almost $100. Washroom is not the cleaniest but i went there for the food Oct 1 2023: couple of the garlic shrimp wasnt fully cooked. So we just cut the uncooked part and eat the rest, no big deal.
I ordered a few home-cooked dishes, the mutton skewers and big pulled skin were good, the ground three delicacies, baked corn with egg yolk, and mutton soup noodles were passable, the hand-grilled mutton, pot dumplings, and oven pancakes were unqualified, and the sauerkraut and mutton pot was seriously unqualified. The mutton soup became the mutton lung soup, which was unusually fresh. The hygiene is average, the service is average, and the price is affordable.
Tastes good
very good
Fuji has been on my list of recommendations of restaurants for a while, to be honest, disappointed after a try. Hand-pulled mutton, which could really testify the mutton quality, is meaty and dry, guess should pick mutton from a different part of the sheep. Guo bao Rou has a really heavy starch coating, sauce is good. Watery Chicken, small portion, using a chicken leg without much freshness, but sauce is good. Skewer mutton, with the seasoning, it tastes good without meaty flavor, but lacks mutton lard on the skewer which should be a must for authentic mutton skewer.
One of my favourite spots for lamb skewers in the city (one of the best lamb skewers, in my opinion)! However, besides the lamb skewers, I found some of their dishes have decreased in quality - ie. squid tentacle skewers and were a bit dry and felt overcooked.
Great place to chill with your friends and get Cheap beer and food Vegetarian options: A lot of stir fried veggies offered Parking: parking is decent you will find a spot somewhere in the plaza
It feels the same as at home
Dishes taste good. But for service, I may have too much expectation, in my opinion, its service needs to be improved. The owner was not friendly at all.
Dirty environment, terrible service, disgusting food, very expensive
There were only two waiters in the room, and they were too busy. I ordered haggis soup. The MSG taste was too strong. I drank too much water. The kidneys were not tasty, and the cauliflower was too salty.
I ordered uber eat from this place. I ordered 3 types of bbq skewers. All were showing 4 skewers per order, only 3 per type were delivered. The beef and lamb skewers weee so overcooked and dry, worst I have had in Toronto. I suspect the skewers were leftovers being reheated. I ended up throwing them out. Very disappointed! Not sure if they only do this for delivery orders.
food is average, service attitude could use some improvement.
The food and service was pretty good!! Lamb Soup was awesome!!! Bottle beer was only $4.50. Lamb is the theme of the restaurant! Everything was really yummy, price was fair, service was good, Lamb Kidney was cooked to perfection, this dish is usually hit or miss Lamb Soup was yummmmmmmy! Lamb skewers were yummy Very satisfied with all the yummy food
The siu mai is delicious, but the other mutton chops and mutton soup are just average.
