The price is reasonable and I was attracted by the Roujiamo. It tastes very good and is worth trying. Will come back to try other meals.

THEIR CRISPY BURGERS are so good!! The bread is soooo cripsy on the outside and soft on the inside, beef is super well seasoned. Just wow. Dont be fooled, only Ramen is in the store name but their cripsy burger is delicious and definitely underrated

This is my go-to place for Chinese style ramen. I ve been a customer here since 2016, and I haven t found a Chinese ramen restaurant to top this place. Homemade Ramen offers large portions for reasonable prices. The broth is flavourful, and the chili oil is perfect. I haven t had a dish here that disappointed me. Besides ramen, be sure to try their skewers, especially their tofu skewers. This may be an odd thing to say about a Chinese ramen restaurant, but I haven t had better tofu skewers elsewhere, even at dedicated Chinese BBQ restaurants.

If I could, I wouldn t want to give it one star ! I packed two portions of Husband and Wife s Beef Slices, and they were already leaking everywhere before I even got home! When I opened the bag and took a look, I was stunned! Use paper cups to pack cold dishes with soup! The bottom of one box was completely rotten! The whole bag was filled with oil! Too bad! I ve never seen this kind of packaging! Bad review! ! !

The noodles were chewy, and the broth and the beef were amazing. Love how they keep the place quiet and neat.

Food is excellent and so is the service! The restaurant looks a bit casual and outdated, but lots of seating is available. The ramen bowls were delicious! You can definitely share. On our table, no one finished theirs. My kids loved the option of pucking the noodle size. Also the lamb skewers are so yum!

Potentially best noodles Ive ever had. Absolutely delicious and the staff is very sweet. Yummy. Returned to Toronto with my wife to visit our son and of course we had to come back. Wow I think the soup and noodles somehow got better than already being the best. I had the beef soup with pulled noodles and the cold Noodle dish and everything was delicious. Well done and well be back on our next visit Came back and it was just as good. This time also ordered bbq tofu and cold spicy noodles. Wow.

Simple, quick

The taste of Chinese ramen is relatively good in Toronto, and the price/performance ratio is average. When the waiter communicates and checks out, his impatient tone and actions make you feel that the store does not welcome you and that you owe money here.

This is an amazing place to go if you are looking for a hearty bowl of noodles. They have great options and you can actually see them making hand pulled noodles. The sides also are pretty good. I would recommend getting the pork bun or the sesame pancake with fried egg.

The ramen is delicious and very filling! The pasta is homemade by a chef who you can observe. The broth and vegetables have great flavor. The value for money is excellent.

Really good homemade ramen, some of the best Ive eaten, the deco could be prettier but honestly the ramen was so good with the two small homemade noodles (#1106) it was all worth it. Low price too for what you get, I recommend it over other ramen shops in the area!

A place to taste homemade ramen. The pasta is handmade and you can feel it in every bite. The beef ramen is recommended. The prices are affordable, fair according to the quality of the dish. The portions are large. The service and attention from the staff is very good. If you are in Chinatown, it is the best option.

Its quite an experience to enjoy this Chinese-style ramen in Kensington market, the pasta is handmade, you can choose the caliber of it, the portion is quite large! The ingredients are of good quality and you can adjust the amount of spice and soy since they are left on the table, the service is relatively fast, the place is clean, the tables are constantly attended to and they have a bathroom for users.

Tasty noodles with super reasonable prices, this is my go-to place for a warm meal. The cold dishes, like the lotus dish, are also really good.

I really enjoyed eating here. The stir fried noodles were amazing and the pork belly was so delicious I had to order a second order. Update: Been coming here for years love this place. Can t recommend it enough.

The soup base is like ditch water, bland and tasteless. The beef is as thin as paper and not worth CAD20 for a bowl

They have the menu in their language and English, they give you a command where you write the code of the dish in case you dont speak those two languages (or maybe, you can use a translator) They were friendly, and the food is very good, be careful the ramen dish is big and filling hahaha but

My go-to place in Chinatown when it comes to cheap and tasty food. Been visiting regularly (once every week or biweekly, and I rarely eat out) for about 6 years now. Noodle is great with many different variety both in cooking method and the noodle type. Rice is good too (could get more portion here but it is relatively cheap so I m accepting that) Appetiziers are relatively cheap compared to other places and decent portion as well. The spice level is very mild likely to be suited for non-chinese who cannot handle the typical level of spice one would get in Asia or for those with lesser tolerance. Can likely be adjusted upon request.

I personally think that they have the best Chinese food here. I literally come here every week lol If you are down for a little spicy kick, please try the LanZhou Style Fried Rice. The hand pulled stir fried ramen is soooo good as well. Tofu skewer has a heavy cumin seasoning which is very tasty.

Nice place to go if you want a decent priced BBQ and chinese Xinjiang lamb noodles & dishes. Compared to nearby restaurants, its cheaper here and also offered a lot of varieties. Considered its price, the food offered is decent and in good quality.

Found a Lanzhou Ramen restaurant on Spindina Avenue in Chinatown in downtown Toronto. In addition to the traditional Lanzhou Ramen, this store also offers many snacks from different parts of China. Recently, this restaurant has almost become my canteen, and I have had dinner here for several days in a row. I didnt order ramen, but ordered saliva chicken, spicy boiled fish and various fried rice such as Yangzhou fried rice, shrimp and egg fried rice, etc., and finally found my Chinese stomach. The spicy boiled fish has just the right amount of spiciness and freshness, making it very tasty. The shrimp and egg fried rice was good. The Yangzhou fried rice I ordered today, some of the white rice was not fried, but overall the dishes tasted good. It is endlessly memorable. Overall, recommended to friends who like Chinese food.

Pretty legitimate Chinese hand pulled noodle restaurant. It s also great value for the price. Still under $15 for a huge never ending bowl of noodles. Aside from their noodles, I think the other foods were okay. Servers were kind and attentive. Definitely would come back here again for a quick bite/lunch.

Great foods! Im sensitive to artificial flavours and msg, and would have drowsiness and headaches after eating Japanese ramen. I didnt feel any discomfort after eating here, yay! Highly recommend the dandan noodles, I asked for less spicy, and it was delicious! Vegetarian options: For vegetarians, they have ramen with vegetables in soup or in sauce. Therere plenty of vegetarian side dishes, eg. tofu, eggplant, scallion pancake, cold steam noodles. Dietary restrictions: There may be sesame sauce in Dandan noodles and Cold Steam noodles, and many sesame sauce do contain peanuts. If youre allergic to peanuts, you better avoid foods with sesame sauce. Parking: Street parking is limited. Theres an underground parking nearby within walking distance. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible, but the shop is small, it may be difficult for wheelchairs to move in and out. Washrooms are in the basement that can only be accessed by stairs.

Noodles are so good, I would eat here everyday if I lived near it.

Noodles were everything that I wanted - chewy and freshly made. Their prices are relatively lower compared to most restaurants in the area, so there s good value as well.

Went with a friend - ramen was somewhat plain.

They claim braising is the cause for meat discoloration, but the fish scale green shine, of spoil on the meat is clearly visible and the noodles are soso.

Came here a few times recently due to convenience. Food okay average not the best or worse just acceptable. However, this is the second time when I ordered chili chicken there is so little chicken inside and mostly onions even the food court plate combo has more of a main dish and rice and veggies! The mushroom and beef satay had a tiny bit more food, but not enough for the cost either. And the 2 servers are rude what is yeah yeah or pointing to the menu when a customer says they won t to order takeout? Won t return. Total $30. They also give a discount if you pay cash, but are the taxes being claimed?

The food was great, they always had good ramen at a reasonable price. I always get their sliced noodles because they are very chewy and they have a lot variety. We also got their sizzling lamb this time and it was very tender. I highly recommend this noodle place.

As far as hand-pulled noodles go, this is Torontos best. Im strictly talking about the noodles themselves and the way they cook them. The chefs here understand that its not just about the novelty of pulling noodles, they know how to cook it to just the right texture. A lot of different places make a big show out of the making of the noodles but then end up overcooking the noodles so that theyre too starchy or soft.

Food is very delicious. Service is so good that my 10-year-old son urged me to rate. When we tried to share the pulled noodle and had some difficulties separating noodles, the waiter handed us scissors. Then I made a mistake writing the same code for two different dishes. When I realized, I had to order an extra dish. When I got the bill, I already had a 10% discount without asking. It is a such nice place to have food. Both your stomachs and spirits are fully satisfied.

Pretty big portions, nice flavours (oily but definitely can taste all the aromatics and vegetables), cheap prices, free wifi, clean bathroom. Probably my current favourite Chinese noodles place in Toronto now, much better than fudao. Also doesn t hurt that you can choose your own noodle width :)

My new favourite Chinese ramen place.

This review is based on UberEats delivery. Foodwise, its ok but not good for the price. I ordered this spicy beef cold dish and all I got was chopped up scraps of beef with more tripe than beef. I ordered beef slices for a reason. It was a waste of $8 for scraps. Their Dan Dan noodle was, again, just ok. Ive had ones that are much better. And I did not detect any mushrooms in that sauce while mushrooms was in the description. I gave this place 2 tries. Needless to say, I wont be ordering from them again.

BAD ATTITUDE. The waiter is so rude, refused to clean the empty table for us. Also refused to give us menu and tissues, just because he s busy? Who do you think you are, you re not the only get busy. Been there few times, food is ok, never go there again.

Super delicious homemade noodles. Sooooo good!

Restaurant does not have ice. The water is kept at room temperature so on a hot day when you want a cold class of water with your meal, unfortunately you will have to settle for room temperature water. The food was decent, nothing to write home about. I have had better Ramen.

After my favorite pulled noodles ramen shop close (1915 Lanzhou Ramen), Homemade Ramen has proven itself to be a superior replacement to my surprise. In cost, flavor and quality I could be happier for a new spot for my pulled noodle cravings.

The takeout noodles are too little. Compared with other noodles, they are only half of others. And when I ordered uber eats to add meat, there was no meat at all and a lot of soup was added.

The signature dishes are the homemade handpulled noodles in ramen, the broth is nice and light, meat is plentiful and the spicy chilli oil sauce on the side elevates the taste.

The smell of oil is very strong, and the ones used are very dirty. The taste is not as good as before, and the quantity is much less. The ramen was good in the first few years, but now it is really bad.

I got the classic beef noodle, and I found it very average. Broth was yummy but noodles were not chewy at all. The noodles looked hand-pulled but did not taste like it. The beef slices were too dry but that can be a personal preference. The radish slices were kind of undercooked so was hard to chew. Service was quick and portion was large, good value for the price. Overall I much prefer Four Four South Village or Hey Noodle.

We stopped by around 2pm, and it was still packed! The staff was very accommodating to our large party of 9, even with splitting bills at the end. Great service and fantastic food with unbeatable prices!

Great service and amazing food! It was super quick and really cheap. THESE PORTIONS ARE VERY FILLING. You do not need to order much more than a bowl of noodles because its such a large portion. I highly recommend coming to this place and it did seem quite popular when we went. The lamb skweres are out of the world! Great experience here!

I order the classic ramen noodle as stated on the first page but it proved to be a mistake. The 2.5 mm noodle becomes something like 4mm and is not easy to chew. The beef brisket is decent and the broth is very average. If the ramen has more finely chiseled green onion and some fried garlic it would taste much better. Overall, its a ok.

This place is a gem! We ordered hand-pulled ramen with brisket and another one with beef offal. The portion is humongous. Generous noodles and meat, and the price is so reasonable $11.99 ! Its hard to beat this price. The noodles are freshly pulled and you can choose the width too. The soup broth taste clean and flavorful without the taste of loaded with msg. I highly recommend this place. Lots of Sichuan food selection too.

This is my favorite Lanzhou beef noodle restaurant in Toronto. It has a wide variety of dishes, delicious and affordable. The noodles are delicious, and the sauce and powder of the skewers are also very fragrant. The rice bowl is also delicious, and the chicken fillet is especially tender. Always love the taste!

Wanted to see how this place compared to other hand pulled noodle restaurants that Ive tried. Overall Id say the noodles are decent, and the soup is good. The value for money here is fantastic and dishes are quite cheap. I think this place is probably more notable for side dishes from what Ive heard, and we tried the sesame pancake with beef which was delicious.

However, our order for chicken dumplings was forgotten, and we waited a long time without any communication from the staff. Good food, but they need to improve their service.

I liked my first time eating ramen

Amazing food and quality, especially for the price. One of the few places that hasn t increased their prices due to inflation in the last year. They have a large menu and everything I ve ordered here every time I go has been delicious. Their hand pulled noodles or knife cut noodles are both amazing and freshly made in front of you.

Their original beef noodles never disappoint. The broth tastes very flavourful but definitely they ve added a lot of MSG to make it like that. I ordered the 15mm thick noodle and it was slightly overcooked as the noodles broke off so easily when I used my chopsticks to pick it up. If you want a quick noodle fix, I would recommend this restaurant. However, don t expect amazing customer service from their staff.

The portion size is really large and the seasoning is perfect for Koreans. I got the 2.5mm cotton size and it was perfect. The pretty female staff is so kind! It was delicious! importance!!! It basically contains cilantro, so if you dont like it, be sure to tell us in advance!!

This is a solid place. Theyve got ramen, obviously, but a lot more. We got ramen, chicken, and some dumplings, and they were all delicious. The servers were nice, and the portion sizes were pretty large. Its definitely worth checking this place out.
