This is my first time trying BBQ fish in Canada, and it tastes exactly the same as the one I had in China! It was absolutely delicious. The staff were really friendly, and I even got a discount when paying with cash! Such a great deal. If I lived in Toronto, I’d come here once a week!

Amazing food! Been there quite a few times and they never disappoint. Food is always spectacular, their service is fast and friendly and the ambience is great as well. Almost every item on their menu is really good so can't pick a favourite! It's also easily accessible by TTC which makes it a really convenient place to go to. My friends and I rate Papa Spicy as one of our top food spots in Chinatown and it looks like it's going to hold that spot for a long time!

As a spicy food lover, the spicy fish pot was particularly tasty and big portion. There are many side dishes to choose from with great price! I personally loved my fish with spams and various choices of vegetables. On top of everything, the service is amazing as well! Will definitely visit again!
The Grilled fish is spicy and fresh. We chose kelp, celery and lettuce for sides, which are very tasty. Great deal for friends gathering. Definitely will come again.

I think this is the only place in Toronto that matches the quality of charcoal grilled fish that you can find in China. Ive been to many charcoal grilled fish places in Toronto, and this place is extraordinary and authentic. I got Bass fish which is bone-free.
Felt really awkward about the last experience I had at the restaurant. I had been here for a few times. This time, they changed it to online menu and the menu offers a special discount of a dish and a discount for the side dishes for the fish and we ordered it. During dining, the waitress asked us if we wanted to have a lucky draw for Halloween promotion. We did and got a bubble tea. When we checked out, they said no discount for cash payment cause we got the bubble tea. We were actually ok about it. We also suggested them they should tell us in advance that we can t have discount for the bill if we got the promotion of the lucky draw which we didn t ask but the waitress came to us. And they told us we already had two discounts which is a discounted dish set on the menu and actually not only because of the bubble tea. We felt being blamed for ordering the discounted stuff they set on the menu. They shouldn t set many promotions to attract customers to order and didn t let us know we can actually only get one discounted item. Never going there again, especially when we wanted to make a suggestion to help the restaurant to serve better but what we got is blame that made ourselves feel bad about getting the benefits from here. It s just so weird, I think the bill is just worth what we ate. If they were to not give any discount, they shouldn t set the promo prices at the beginning. It just seems that they would suddenly change the rules to earn a little bit more. We felt scammed and also unsecured since all the ordering process (including the promotion) required you to leave down your phone number.

Two people ordered a portion of turbot and 4 side dishes. The portion size was OK. Overall, the taste was pretty good. However, I came in the middle of the week and felt that the side dishes were not so fresh. The side dishes I ordered included konnyaku, A dish, and Oyster mushrooms and tofu skin~ Dish A is not too fresh and the tofu skin is broken~ The oyster mushrooms will be a bit salty in the end~ But the fish tastes good~

I really wanted to eat grilled fish, so I searched for this restaurant. The grilled fish was very fragrant, the spiciness was right, and the portion was large. I ordered three vegetarian dishes and one meat dish. The price was right. It should be enough for two people.
Autehntic Chinese food! I had turboat fish, classic spicy broth was not that spicy for korean. Maos braised pork is red beef, which was very tender melting in my mouth. The tofu with shrimp was good. Its delicious to eat tofu wrapped in red beef or flounder.

The dining experience at Liu Gong Grilled Fish was great! The skin of the grilled fish is crispy, the meat is tender, the soup base is rich and spicy, and the vegetables and mushrooms that are paired with it are also very fresh. Every bite is full of rich flavor. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing among many people. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!
Food was great but service was terrible. Waitress added 10% tip to a $75 bill for 2 people. I would have tipped 18-20%. I think she assumed because we were black we weren t going to tip.

The food is always delicious and I have been here many times. The farm-style stir-fried pork is a must-try. My daughter s favorite dish is braised lamb belly with yuba and bean curd in soup.

Came to Papa Spicy today for a late lunch. Braised beef with rice was definitely the winner amazing tasting beef and not much fat which is difficult to find. Also must try the blue crabs! Vegetarian options: Spicy tofu with Mushrooms!

We had the spicy crab and fried rice. 3lbs of crab barely had any meat, the little meat available was very hard, overcooked, and difficult to take out of the shell. We were given gloves but no tools. Fried rice did not come as pictured. It s white rice with soy sauce on top. The rice was old and hard, or turned to sludge in the mouth. Don t trust the great reviews, they offer a free dish with a five star review. Would not recommend, will not return.

I ve been craving fish in chilli oil with spam and a bunch of other foods for a long time and came across Papa Spicy s menu! We ordered the Turbot and added spam, ox tongue, lotus root, mushrooms, and lobster balls. So tasty and will definitely be returning! Vegetarian options: We ordered garlic stir fried bok choy as a non spicy dish

Worst dining experience ever, no service and mandatory 10% tip After scanning the QR code to place our order, we waited for 30 minutes. We were not even served water. We also waited for a long time for drinks and food. In the end, we were asked to leave a mandatory 10% tip after tax. It was really unacceptable. In addition, the merchant offered two cups of milk tea for free by posting a review, but did not inform us in advance. We ordered four cups in total. We only found out about this event when we were paying the bill. We asked the clerk if we could participate, and the clerk said that we had to take the photo before eating. The photos of the food are really speechless. And the taste was very average. The grilled fish felt over-fried and only tasted salty and spicy. Two people had stomachaches when they went home after eating. This is the first time to go and also the last time to go! Worst dining experience ever! No service and a forced 10% tip! After scanning the QR code to order, we waited 30 minutes without even getting water. It took ages to finally get our drinks and food, and then we were forced to pay a 10% tip on the post-tax total, which is completely unacceptable . To make things worse, the restaurant had a promotion where you could get two free milk teas for leaving a review, but they didnt inform us about it. We ordered four milk teas in total and when we asked the staff, they said we needed to take a picture of the food before eating. Absolutely ridiculous. As for the food, the grilled fish tasted over-fried, with nothing but salty and spicy, and two of us ended up with stomach aches afterward. Today is Thanksgiving and I eat it with a grateful heart. But not only did the store provide no service, they also forced a tip. The waiter wearing glasses told me that the boss had to charge a tip.
