Big portions, and you kinda get what you pay for. Nothing super spectacular, but definitely bang for your buck.

The restaurant was very unpleasant, the food was terrible, the bathrooms were very dirty.

Seems ok, went here thinking I d get more food. Got Honey Garlic Chicken on Fried Rice, only small container, small amount of rice

Everytime I order from them they have cancelled my order. Therefore I will no longer order from there and I have told many not to either. Shame!

1st is, I don t know what the heck these so called chicken balls were but they give you a hundred tiny deep fried balls of batter GROSS. The grease on them tasted like they ve never changed it. The noodles were gooey and stuck together. I guess the spring roll was decent but other than that, extremely disappointing and will NEVER order from here again!

I have a been a loyal customer of this restaurant, the staff are very friendly and food is very good.

Ordered tonight for my family. The price was good for the amount of food we got. The fried rice was tasty, and the chicken was nice and crispy! Delivery took about an hour or a little less and we got 2 drinks with the order! Only thing I didn t like was the spring rolls

Our family decided to end our Winter Break with Chinese food. We hadnt ordered from here in a few years. We were told the food was going to be ready at 6:30 and at 7:00 we were told to sit down it will be another 10-15 minutes. We werent told about the 10% off if you pay by cash. Person at the cash was rude and indifferent. Food is solid but be prepared to wait way longer than when you were originally told!!!

I ordered from this place for the first time today and I was very disappointed. It seemed that the google reviews showed a positive trend. Instead, all of the food was bland..bland...bland tasting and had no authenticity in any flavours as I am used to from other Chinese food restaurants. I dont recommend this place at all.

Great food, reasonably priced, and amazing people. Ive been going here for a year now and I have always been beyond satisfied with every aspect of this business. The food tastes amazing, and the customer service is always above and beyond. Without a doubt in my mind, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant to dine in or takeout.

Terrible service. Called for a pick up order at 6:05 I was told it would take 30-40 mins. I got to the restaurant at 6:30 and was told it would be a few more minutes. I waited and waited 6:45 still nothing waited some more 6:50 and nothing .at 6:55 I asked the lady how much longer and she went to check in the back and came back to tell me he is cooking it now at 6:55 I called at 6:05. Pathetic service. Steer away from this place. I constantly said to the lady at the front that I ordered at 6:05 and should not have been told that it would be ready in 30-40 mins and she had nothing to say not even a sorry. Will never order from here again.

Went there for lunch today, ordered combo 2, chicken balls spring roll and fried rice. Was looking forward to enjoying it but it tasted off to me. After a couple bites of the spring roll and a couple of spoonfuls of rice, I discovered what looked to be a black mouse dropping in the rice . The lady behind the counter tried to convince me it was a black rice grain, but when I said it looked like a mouse dropping, she went to the back to check something, then returned to the counter and offered me another meal or my money back. She kept repeating she didnt know what happened and this never happened before, but i of course I took the money and wont EVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN!

Not sure why the reviews are so low I order all the time and love their food and service. I will say calling them directly is better than getting it delivered by other options such as Uber eats and skip Food is always fresh and tastes amazing that s why I always order from them. I also must say their chicken balls are not doughy and small perfect for kids

Take out order made. The Lucky Dragon should be closed down by health department. Me and my girlfriend were sick for two days after eating their food. Ordered one wonton soup. They gave me four. Only paid for one but preferred to get one soup that did not make me sick. Ordered sweet and sour spare ribs they gave me sweet and sour chicken balls. Did not eat inside but noticed the red corduroy seats were not very clean.

Walked in ordered take out. Wait was longer then expected for one dish and wasnt busy. Waiting wasnt a big deal. It was when I got home ready to eat that I realized they gave me the wrong order. I checked the menu online and what I was given was also cheaper then what I paid. They cant even get a simple combo right.

Placed an order for delivery today and was absolutely astounded to find that it took this restaurant nearly 2 1/2 hrs to fulfill this order. Had to call multiple times for update of toa. Customer service is totally non existent. Absolutely ridiculous only upon threatening to cancel order did order arrive within 5 minutes. Food was adequate but certainly not worth a 2 1/2 hr wait. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT OTHERS DONT EITHER. So unfortunate given struggles that good restaurants are currently experiencing.

On of the best Chinese food in the whole GTA

ordered lunch special from here, rice was stale & literally got about 6-8 pieces of chicken. Do yourself a favor and head to Hakka #1 on Keele for a much better food experience.

I never say this but they need to raise their prices. Small shops like these are at risk and the owners are the sweetest most humble people Ive ever met. The reviews on here do NOT do it justice.

Ordered vegetable pad Thai and fried rice on spicy chicken. Pad Thai had no vegetables and taste below average Fried rice had no green beans carrot nor egg simply rice and fried chicken taste below average I don t want to beat the traffic again else I would have definitely returned the food

I ordered dinner for 6a. They told me it would be 1 hour. 1.4 hours later I called they said it would be 20 more minutes. Its been over 2.2 hours now. They wont pick up their phone. Everybody at my house is starving. At this point I dont think they will even show up. What a disaster. Dont order from this place. Who knows if youll even get your food. Horrible customer service. Dont ever order from here.

Affordable and fast

This is the most deplorable service I have ever had in Canada. I ordered dinner at 5:01 PM and received a confirmation call from Lucky Dragon at 506PM. Then I proceeded to call again about an hour after. I was promised that the meal would arrive in 30mins. Its now 8:03 PM and we have not received our order. So, 3Hrs after an offer is made and we still have not received our dinner. Then we are told that they will give us 10%.....Food safety is a huge thing for us and I will not be accepting any dinner after placing an order 3Hrs prior.

We waited two hours and they still hadn t even started our order.

Good service for take out

Had to cancel my order after two hours of waiting. Every time I called I was told the food would arrive in 10-15 minutes. This happened several times. Eventually I cancelled the order and ordered a pizza. It was the kind of experience that aggravated my whole family. It was a Monday night in January. It s not like it was a Saturday night or New Years Eve.

Man I finally found a real good Chinese restaurant near my area!

The food is good and the price is fair, but it took them OVER 2.5 hours to deliver our food. There was no warning it would take this long and I had to call (after 1.5 hour wait) to find out it would be another hour.

We ordered chop suey with vegetables but this one they give bean sprouts with bok choy. So disappointed and the seafood mixed the container always burn the plastic container thats bad for health.

Very good, tasty and fresh food. The food took some time to be ready so i had to wait (i did pick up by myself) but it was worth it. Next time i will order a good half hour in advance over the phone.

Frozen spring rolls, breaded shrimp and chicken balls leave stomachs sad. Food qas not as advertised. Chicken balls were half the size of the balls in the menu. The spring rolls were mushy. On a Saturday night, there was better Chinese on Uber Eats.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. This has now become my new go to place for Chinese food.

Best Chinese Food! The food tastes amazing and the prices are fair. Our favourite is the chicken balls - you can actually taste the chicken unlike most places. They don t over do the batter which is nice! We eat here often. Quick friendly service. Thank you for everything you guys do!

Ordered over the phone and the man on the line didnt understand my order. I got 2 beef fried rice and they gave me plain then i ordered chicken balls and 2 wonton soups and only got 1 wonton soup. The only thing that gets a bonus from me is that the lady that delivered it was super nice. But i asked for them to deliver 2 beef fried rice and they said they would but they were busy....still waiting for it.

Waited over two hours for delivery. Restaurant wouldnt answer the phone when I tried to cancel.

Food was good but not great. Even if you order ahead, youll have to wait. I think they may want to be paid first.

Good portions and food is tasty but the service is really slow. Was told my order would be ready for pickup in 25 minutes but I waited almost an hour. If youve got time to kill and just want some cheap and classic Chinese takeout than this spot does the trick. Wouldnt suggest coming here if youre in a rush.

For the second time, ordering online is delivered 2 hours later than the intended ETA. Very poor at online deliveries and when ordering for the wait time 38 mins longer than the scheduled time. Not the place to order from if your hungry.

The food is very tasty and they give you a good amount of food for a decent price. They need to improve on the delivery service as our last couple of orders took over 2 hours to be delivered.

This is the worst Chinese food my husband and I had in our lives! We ordered New Years Eve at 6:30 p.m. and they said it was a 3 hour wait. I thought the food would be great because there was such a long wait so I ordered the dinner for 2 and spicy fried squid which I really enjoyed at other Chinese restaurants. The meal arrived 4 hours later and everything was disgusting! The chicken fried rice had no taste at all, I had to add so much to make it edible and the rest of the meal was horrible. Im not the type to write reviews but I need to let the public aware not to order from Lucky Dragon. I wish I would of asked for my money back!

The food is quite surreal! For the price that you are paying; the food was definitely worth even more than the value. The portions are excellent; we got two combos and a large serving of egg-drop soup for 26.00 w. HST! Highly recommend this place for your local chinese - food cravings.

The only lucky thing about the Lucky Dragon is feeling lucky to not get a food poisoning. I ordered from here the other day as my regular Thai/Chinese place on Weston road was closed. This was by far the worst Chinese food I ever had in my life!!! Everything looked utterly unappetizing and tasted completely un fresh and bland. The shrimp tasted like it was at least a week old and rubbery. On top of it the portion size was SO so so tiny! The delivery and the phone service were very polite but the food was absolutely uneatable!

Best Crab & Corn Soup!

Me and my mom have been ordering from here for years, excellent customer service and theyve never once made any mistakes, food is always Fresh and hot and id recommend it to anyone :D

I went there with my colleagues and ordered 2 portions of dry-fried beef river each, which is the most basic staple food. After it was served, we each took one bite and couldnt eat any more. The noodles must have been stored for a long time, and they were all stuck to each other. It was hard at the same time, and the quantity was quite large, but it was a pity that food was lost. We looked at each other and smiled bitterly, then left. If the Chinese food is so unpalatable, it may only be opened in a Western area, ugh

I placed an order at 7pm with them for delivery and the food still never arrived at 1030pm. no one called me to notify me that my order wouldnt arrive. very upset. they unplugged the phone so no phone calls were going through. I had guests over for dinner and it was a horrible experience for all of us to witness. unprofessional. horrible service.

I was highly dissatisfied & disappointed with the taste of this food. The chicken wings tasted like poison, the noodles tasted rancid.. I have ordered food from here many times! Some times it s a hit other times it s a miss. Tonight I ordered food at 5:50 pm the food arrived at 8:00 pm ! I called after an hour and ten minutes the woman told me 10 more minutes, yeah right. Needless to say I didn t take the food because I had already started cooking and they had the nerve to call and ask me why I didn t accept the food! I am NEVER BUYING FROM LUCKY DRAGON EVER AGAIN!

I just happened to be driving by and my wife saw that there was a restaurant so we decided to stop by and grab some food. It was a very good decision because the food was made quick and it was actually pretty good. Family run, tou cant go wrong with that. if im ever in the area, ill be sire to drop by again.

I was very disappointed with the service here. I ordered delivery to a location less than 2km from the restaurant and it took 1hr hour for it to arrive. It was only 3 items that wouldve taken 10-15min to prepare had I gone in to pick up instead and the quality definitely was not worth the wait. Worse part was I payed tip when I placed my order (I didnt have cash on me) and by the end I wanted that money back. My mistake - I will not be ordering from here again.

I have tried many Chinese places in this area and I have to say lucky dragon is by far the best Chinese place for miles around. You will not be disappointed.

Not bad, but needs some work in some areas. The rice was great, and the food my co-worker got looked great, and he confirmed it tasted great, but the General Tao chicken was almost inedible. The sauce was very tasty, but most of the pieces were 100% breading. I only found 2 or 3 in my entire meal that actually had chicken in them, and even those only had a very small amount. In total, I probably only got a chicken wings worth of chicken in my entire meal, and it was the most expensive of the lunch specials. But Im willing to give them another chance because my co-worker had a much better experience than I did. I would just recommend avoiding anything thats going to be breaded.

Ive ordered from here a few times. Food is just OK: seafood fried rice is very thin, basically paying for 95% rice. Delivery is usually pretty quick, but the one time I didnt tip the delivery man ripped his pen out of my hand and turned on his heel muttering something to himself. I wont be ordering from them again.

Those who claimed the driver gets mad without having a tip is probably not true We moved into the area when they were near Lawrence we had no stove working we ordered from them bunch of times each week the woman on the phone is polite she knew what our orders were lol the driver is polite too he didn t get mad or threw a fit when there wasn t a tip yes we did missed few times without tipping him . The food is amazing we did try to mix it up by ordering different things come on new body can beat their chicken wings lol We were sad when they were moving the lady on the phone said we are always welcome at the other place

Our favourite place in this neighbourhood! I gave them 5 stars because the staff are amazing. The food is more of a 4-star. Certain items on the menu are great - chicken balls, cantonese chow mein - but certain items could be improved - garlic spare ribs. None the less we order from here nearly every month. Prices are reasonable and you always get free spring rolls with every order! The staff on the phone are extremely nice and accommodating - once we did not have the cash we thought to pay for our delivery and the sweet woman on the phone simply asked that we just pay whenever we ordered next. This is a rare type of kindness and trust in the city. Definitely recommend :)

Moved to Clanton Park/Downsview neighbourhood in May and finally found decent Chinese take-away! If you like Canadian-Chinese food this is the spot. Weve tried several others in the vicinity and Lucky Dragon is by far the best. Quick, hot delivery as well.

This restaurant was much better managed when it was Moon Doo. In its days as Moon Doo, owners emphasized a healthier alternative to most Chinese restaurants as they did not use msg in their preparation of food. The staff was also nicer and more welcoming. The current staff seems quite miserable and acts as if you are taking up her time more than anything else. The food now is full of msg as you can taste and feel in its texture. Portion sizes have also suffered in the change of ownership yet the prices have raised a bit. Moon Doo used to be really the go to restaurant in this area as there is nothing authentic around. I hope that this restaurant learns from what made Moon Doo a special little secret in this area.

Love the food number one place to order.
