Not super cheap...but food was so good I would still call it great value. Language barrier with server and one persons food came to the table very late. So..opportunity to improve..but I would definitely go back for another good meal! Food

Ordered noodles and spicy chicken on uber eats. The spicy chicken was inedible. The chicken was over cooked, dry and so so salty. The noodles were fine. Overall not worth $40. Would not recommend.

I placed an order for vegan dumplings, and when I got halfway through eating, it realized it was meat. I threw up everything because I have allergies and I haven t had meat in 20 years so my body cannot tolerate it. When I called to let them know on the phone told me to come and show proof because how do we know you re telling the truth if you don t show us? I proceeded to say I just threw up for 10 minutes so cannot come right now. He proceeded to say well then who s to say you re not lying. The worst customer service I ve ever received not to mention this is a huge health safety issue with absolutely no regard for their customers.

PRE-INCIDENT REVIEW: Love Tumi. We always get their vegan steamed dumplings and they are so good. Reasonably priced too. POST INCIDENT REVIEW: My partner got vegan dumplings, halfway through eating, realized it was meat. She threw up because her body cannot tolerate me and she has allergies so it was scared to even attempt to not throw up. When she called the restaurant they showed absolutely no regard and asked somebody who just threw up for 10 minutes straight and was sick from their food to come into the restaurant because if she doesnt, they wouldnt believe her. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Whoever is working there tonight should be ashamed of yourself.

I am so confused about my experience compared to the reviews. Just ordered delivery from here so maybe thats the issue? Waited for 1.5 hrs and the restaurant kept adding more time to the order. Tried to call to cancel or change to pick-up and they did not reply. Spicy Chicken is burnt, deep fried popcorn chicken. Completely dry and sitting in a container with dried chilli peppers, thats it. Singapore Fried Vermicelli didnt have any pork, was half-full and had an odd chemical taste. The long bao is the reason for the extra start, those were decent.

Food is too salty. Dumplings were too sticky. Not authentic at all. Server was borderline rude.

A wonderful family operated restaurant. Their soup dumplings are oh so savory, as well as their pan fried chicken and cabbage dumplings. I didnt even think of taking a photo, I just dug right in and had a phenomenally filling meal. Highly recommend stopping by this lovely establishment for a bite to eat.

I like the gluten free dumplings (veggie or pork) which are unique and tasty. Other dumplings and home-made food are also good, such as Asian pancakes and Baos. But there are not many guests in the restaurant.

Such a gem of a restaurant! The owner is very nice and the service is excellent. The food is superb. You can tell they use the highest quality ingredients and it has a nice homemade flavour. Very reasonable pricing for both the quantity and quality that you get.

This is my favourite place to get dumplings in the city, the food is amazing if not better each time! Definitely recommend the xiao long bao, pan-fried pork and cabbage dumplings, and cucumber salad. Staff is efficient and lovely, prices and portions are great as well :)

Foods great, but the service is garbage. The one guy there at lunch clearly doesnt WANT to be there. His attitude says it all. Weve been here for lunch easily a dozen times and its gone downhill from the first few times. Theres 2 of us so we order our meals and my friend gets his first and my meal came just as my friend was finishing his. What kind of restaurant serves 2 people having lunch together at 2 different times?!?! Id think theyd time the meals to be done at the same or very close to the same time. Very disappointed with that. Wont return.

The waiters dont pay attention since they focus on their door dash orders. And there are a lot of them, because their dumplings are excellent.

One of my fave dumpling spots in the city. I don t get to come here that often due to location, but it s awesome every time I try their dumplings. I strongly recommend the vegan and vegetarian dumplings even if one likes meat, it won t disappoint :) Only I wish they offered boiled dumplings, but other then that I always enjoy the food here

We dined at Tumi for the first time today and loved the food so much--the lunch special was delicious and the mushroom salad was very tasty. Even the white rice was of high quality! We will definitely be returning. Service was excellent!

I dined in over here and had a glass of Chardonnay with some Gluten Free Dumplings and Singapore-Style Vermicelli. All in all the food and the ambience was very good. The only thing that lacked a bit were the dumplings - which could have a little bit more flavour. But I get it, they don t use MSG. Which is good.

I was in the area, and had a craving for braised beef brisket soup and dumplings. This place definitely does not disappoint. Ive been in search of a place that does spicy braised beef noodle soup, and although its not spicy, this place has one of the best Ive had in Toronto. Also had the pork and vegetable dumplings (pan fried of course) and they were delicious. Very juicy! As a piece of advice... dont wear white... . Will definitely be back.

It took a little bit to get seated as there was only one server, however, ordering was fast and the dishes came out quickly. The Xiao Long Bao was definitely my favourite dish, but everything we ordered was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Wow, amazing Gluten free dumplings! Absolutely the best gluten free dumplings ever. Love the Pan fried. Our whole family loves them. Their sauces and hot oil are delicious too. This is one of my best food experiences in GTA! The restaurant has a nice vibe but most importantly is the taste of food, beyond delicious dumplings and kung pao chicken. First time trying this place and so glad I did. The dumplings are fresh and delicious. We ordered the wonton in chilli, vegetable dumplings, cuttlefish dumplings and the Xiaolongbao dumplings. All amazing delicious and savoury. And first time trying High Park lager beer, amazing taste. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu.

My Chinese in-laws thought that the food was great. Weve been to Michelin starred dim sum in Hong Kong. They identified the Northern and Southern influences in the cuisine. The grandkids ate heartily. My request for no cutlery was honored at the pickup. Delicious food, decent prices ... I will return. IMO Torontos Chinese restos compete with anyone.

Tumi is a great addition to the neighbourhood over the last few years. My reccos are the eggplant, singapore noods, vegan steamed dumplings and pan-fried dumplings with the crispiest lattice crunch. I feel like this might be one of the only places serving up xiao long bao in the junction/bwv/ronces - and they are creamy, rich, soupy little gems!

Not gluten free dumplings!! Im celiac and i got sick from eating the gliten free pan fried dumplings, maybe the steamed dumplings are safer? I think that i was cross contaminated, possibly by the oil in the pan being used from normal dumplings to gluten free. I Dont trust the gf pan fried dumplings for celiac. Great vibes although in the restaurant.

Got the noodles with beef and veggies and it was great. The shrimp and pork dumplings were good. The lamb ones could have been better but their chicken wings were amazing.

Very, very good dumplings - probably some of the best in the GTA! We dined last evening and also started with a wonton soup and a braised beef noodle soup; both very good. Also enjoyed the xiaolongbao and the larger pan-fried bao with pork filling (a personal favourite!) The flavours across the board were right on, great portion sizes, and left feeling very satisfied - also because of the friendly and attentive owner/staff. Would highly recommend, please support this great dumpling house and Chinese restaurant!

Excellent, authentic Chinese dishes. Highly recommend the beef noodle soup, just delicious and generous with beef. Dumplings are top notch as are the soup dumplings. Very pleasant service and dishes come when they are ready. Nice clean dining room, simply decorated. Definitely a go to when you are are in the neighborhood.

Interior is clean, service is good, food is good portion. Had the Xiao Long Bao which is the thin skin bun with meat and soup in it, pretty good. Cucumber salad is very tasty and appetizing, could use some colours though like chili pieces for example. Singapore noodles is a bit spicy and tasty. Very big portion and just few more shrimp would be the dream. Sesame beef has nice sauce to it, great to eat with rice or noodles. A bit on the salty side though. Overall good experience. They have some interior tables and two tables outside on the side walk. After 6pm can park on the street with greenP.

Peaceful environment with excellent and flavored dumplings, you can even opt for a gluten free option. The service is great and they always try to adapt to your needs. My family and myself come to this place at least every two weeks!

I ordered the soup dumplings because I had been craving them for a while. I had never been to this restaurant, so I didnt know what to expect. The dumplings barely had any liquid inside and felt like they had just bought frozen dumplings at the store and steamed them. Not impressed.

LOOK HERE!! My husband and I went here around 8ish almost 9pm on 10/16/23 And for some dumplings. We just came from eating ramen noodle as another place. Not what I expected :/ Anyways, we CAME HERE! and it was AMAZING. I got the seafood dumpling and they were ON PIONT! sorry I didnt take any picture I ate it all in the car on my way back home. i wish i went to get more. And the wonton dumpling was great too. But those dumpling tho. Delicious!! The price was great (American money) IDK about Canadian money. and the Man there was super nice. THANKS for making my husband and I night. We would be coming back in 2025!

Good and friendly service, clean interior, food tasty and in good portions. Never been to a place that offered a choice of how one wanted the dumplings, pan-fried or steamed. Lovely paintings and calligraphy by owner husband on the walls as I learned from chatting with the owner wife.

Staff was very friendly but the food was just not it. We had the soup dumplings, cumin lamb and the beef noodle soup. The lamb was decent although not spicy enough. The soup dumplings and noodle soup were very bland. The broth of the noodle soup was basically just water mixed with soya sauce, very little beef flavor. Not sure why the reviews are so high

This is some of the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. I ordered off Skipthedishes and the food arrived hot, but thats about the only good thing I can say about it. The fried rice and soup dumplings were totally bland. The spicy chicken was just breaded pieces of oily tasteless chicken that had ZERO flavouring besides what came from the accompanying szechuan peppers. If you didnt eat the very hot peppers with every bite, it was like eating little pieces of unseasoned KFC chicken. I had decided to splurge and order from here even though its more expensive than other places because it had such good reviews, and Im kind of shocked by how bad this food actually is.

Dumplings are without question. And a delicious Bao as well. Ive referred to family and they too were not disappointed.

The food was delicious. We picked it up on a busy night but this didnt seem to affect quality. I can understand if food comes late on a busy night. However, this was 35 or 40 minutes late. Worse, while we were waiting for our food, we saw the restaurant continue to take phone calls from new customers, write down their orders, etc. -- no doubt causing further delays in meeting their existing obligations. The only explanation I can think of is greed. The next time they are faced with an all-hands-on-deck crisis, they should do what honest restaurants do: pause taking new orders (yes that means disappointing potential new customers, forgoing the money and losing a bit of face), fix the problem, and move on.

Beef brisket was very tender but the broth lacked depth of flavour. Noodles were a little doughy and flavorless. Pork and cabbage dumplings needed something fresh. They tasted a little old like theyve been sitting out, Im sure they were made fresh but the ingredients need something to brighten it up. Ill give it another chance.

This review is more like 4.5 stars. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. This place is a cute spot for dinner with family or friends. Roughly 10 small tables in the entire place. Cheap parking on the street or in lots nearby. The menu is easy to digest and has a variety of options. Surprisingly they don t have a lot of dumpling options despite being called a dumpling house??? Ordered a few different dumplings and some green beans for veggies. The dumplings were steamed well and for the most part tasty. I wouldn t recommend the seafood dumpling with egg. Was a bit weird for my taste but it wasn t horrible. The beans were cooked well. I would come again or get takeout since there was a never ending stream of takeout the entire time I was there. I just wish there were a bit more options of dumplings.

Friendly, fast service. Appetizers arrived first with another update when the dumplings were coming (5 minutes!) Steamed Dumplings were fresh and tasty Vax passports and ID were checked.

I strongly recommend you to go somewhere else. The braised beef soupe was totaly tasteless, the beef was only parts that you cannot eat ( see pictures ) the four soup we ordered couldnt be eaten. The noodle are more like pasta with no taste. The waitress was doing her best and tried to exchange the meal but her bosses said we couldnt because we touched it and it was just a bad batch of beef. The effort was there she brought a plate of free dumpling and said she was sorry many times. Really deceiving

We had Braised beef soup but we got fat and tendons. We had to add so much soy sauce and salt for it to taste something. Very disappointing. She even said she recommended it. Dumplings also were underseasoned

The food is absolutely delicious, the fresh ingredients is out of this world. The dumplings and spring rolls are all handmade. The restaurant is very clean. The owners and staff are very friendly, and are ready to answer any questions regarding the menu. I travel from Woodbridge to eat here at least once a week. this place is delicious. dumplings are huge and if you get it pan-fried they are all crusted together - so so good! it actually competes with big name dumpling places like mothers dumplings imo. general tao chicken is tasty, not spicy enough imo but sweet. has a nice honey/mapley flavor to it. the mapo tofu is stupid fire and delicious, definitely recommend it. not a vegetarian anymore but it is a really good tofu dish!

We ordered Pork BAO, steamed vegan dumplings, and panfried dumplings. The guy we ordered from over the phone was very nice. The food was delicious. Our favorite part was that the leftovers heated up well later that night. I will be going back!

I don t leave many reviews, but I felt really compelled to leave one here. This is without a doubt the best place to get dumplings that I know of. I ve been all over Chinatown, and this place beats them all in quality, service, and price. This is the standard for me now.

Just had lunch with my sister and Tumi did not disappoint! The dumplings were fantastic . Plenty of options to choose from on the menu, as well as drink options. We had the scallion pancakes, soup dumplings, spicy wontons, and the pork and cabbage. Everything was delicious! The service was friendly, the portions were generous and it was affordable! Will definitely be coming back

Delicious dumplings. I hate thick dough but these were perfect. Had seafood and pork/cabbage dumplings. At $1/dumpling these were high quality and has good value. I was full at 12 dumplings (1 order) but I ate 12 more. I would be coming back

Xialongbao was the closest I ve had in Toronto compared to Shanghai. The chicken friend rice and stir fried beef with scallions was good too. Not very oily yet very delicious. The server was very pleasant and welcoming. She even ran after us to kindly return the iPods we left at the table. Thank you!!

Their Uber eats menu gives you fewer dumplings for the same price as their restaurant menu. You get 8 for the price 12. Not worth ordering for takeout. Dumplings were fine. The restaurant should ensure that the number of items is clearly listed on their Uber Eats menu and their website.

Their dumplings are awesome, their fried rices were really flavourful. Something that surprised me was the spicy chicken, god the flavour, just wow! Kept going back for that.

Fantastic little dumpling house. They have a decent sized menu, not small but not endless like some dumpling houses. What they do have is well made and fresh. Checked out Tumi Dumpling House, a Northern Chinese spot, for their gluten free dumplings. Service was decent. Theres $13.00 lunch special (12:00pm to 3:00pm). - GF pork dumplings ($15.00 for 10) - opted for pan fried ($1.00 extra). Texture was good but no dumpling lace. Filling fell flat. - Singapore fried vermicelli ($16.00) - good wok hei. Decent portion size. Would try the XLBs next time. 3.5 stars.

Four of us had the BEST meal at Tumi last night! The food is so delicious-we had the Vegan dumplings, King Pao chicken, Mushroom Salad, Chinese Scallion pancakes and Meat Dumplings. Everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly. All the people here are extremely friendly and excellent servers! I will be back for sure-highly recommend. They have both eat in and patio.

Fantastic new restaurant in the Junction that has great portion size and the food is delicious. The dumplings are perfect, myself loving the vegan option that includes bean protein with the vegetables. The service there is kind and attentive, with the owner checking in on you with a smile. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu, but some recommendations are: the scallion pancakes, the mapo tofu, or the vegan dumplings. Also, perfectly air-conditioned inside, or you can sit on their street patio.

Dumplings for days! What a treat. Terrific, friendly and quick-quick service make this the place to stop in on your way home for a quick beer and a plate of scrumptious dumplings. Dont tell Mr. or Mrs. At-Home, tho. Theyll be green with jealousy! But if they find out, be sure to come back with them for plate after plate (beer after beer) and the Mr. or Mrs. will be happy and satisfied. Promise.

Lunch specials were fantastic and the complimentary soup was just right. Portions are large and flavourful. Not overly sauced

This is my favourite dumpling place in our neighbourhood! The food is always amazing (taste and hotness), so my husband and I usually end up eating here almost weekly. The owners are very friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. Our favourite dishes are the seafood and pork dumplings and xiao long bao.
