Excellent bartenders and an amazing experience overall! Bugra was friendly, attentive, and made the night even better. The atmosphere was vibrant, the music was fantastic, and the cocktails were hands-down the best I ve ever tasted. Highly recommend!

I recently hosted my husbands birthday party at Aura Toronto, and it was a night to remember! Aura is a true gem in the east, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Andy was incredibly helpful, assisting with everything from the DJ to the food and drinks, making the planning process so easy and fun. The venues ambiance was perfect, and all our guests had a great time. I cant recommend Aura enough for any special occasion. We will definitely be back for future celebrations!

Have had many events at this bar! The cocktails are authentic and all ingredients/infusions made in house. Service is friendly and personal. But the atmosphere is what I like best. Intimate, sexy vibes, great for date night or group gathering on the secret back patio that is covered so good in all weather. Definitely a gem spot in Leslieville. Make sure to ask for the Holy driver cocktail and get the charred cabbage on the bar snack menu

A genuine pleasant experience! As Americans we weren t sure what to expect but we enjoyed the cocktails as much as those we found in Amsterdam!

After we went in, a waiter had seated us at a table in the bar. As a result, after a while, we were ready to order wine. Suddenly, someone told us that this table had been booked out and asked us to change places. The problem was that we called before we came, and the clerk told us that we could only walkin and not make an appointment in advance.Even if this table has been reserved for someone else, its the waiters fault of duty for us to sit here at first. Its really disgusting and unreasonable to kick us out after we sit down. Why should we bear the waiters fault of duty? Finally, we left angrily, which was really a bad experience.

This is a fabulous one-of-a-kind cocktail bar! The owner and staff are so welcoming, the place is cozy and funky and the drinks and snacks are delish. They play a wonderful mixture of original and current jazz and blues with a retro vibe. And, apparently, Wednesday nights are bring-your-own-vinyl night. Gotta give that a try sometime!

Popped in here on a Thursday night for drinks after an event and it did not disappoint! Such a cute bar with very creative drinks and a nice atmosphere. New smell every few minutes from the extravagant garnishes on the drinks. They were able to make us mocktails as well. Vegetarian options: Fries, hummus balls, lots of veggie based dips

Poor service if youre not out on the patio. Seems like we were forgotten sitting at the front table. They werent offering food but be enjoyed burgers from the place next door.

An absolute oasis in Riverside. Our impromptu visit to Aura turned into a memorable experience thanks to their incredible hospitality and ambiance. Despite our last-minute large group, the owner Andy warmly welcomed us and ensured we had a fantastic time. Our waitress was not only patient but incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The hidden (and heated!) back patio was a delightful surprise, transporting us to a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle. And the beverages included amazing custom mocktails that left us in awe. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable night out!

Went with some friends on a Wednesday for their Record Night. You can bring in your own vinyl records and they ll play them. It was so fun! The atmosphere was amazing, drinks were phenomenal, and service was a 10/10.

First time, we came here for an after work cocktail with colleagues. The vibe is great and the drinks are tasty. The appetizers (we had cabbage and hummus) were very cozy and delicious.

They have a back patio that you can rent out for a minimum spend of $1000. Drinks are pretty good (loved the Scottish Kiss) and the staff are super nice. Their burgers (Friday and Saturday only I believe) are also pretty bomb.

The cocktail bar section seems very nice but the backyard where they host Turkish events is far from being descent. We were there for a bday party with a group of about 15 friends and most things either came late or were forgotten. The servers seem to be Turkish people who have no serving experience whatsoever and there was a lack of communication. I ordered meatballs and asked to double check after half an hour. The server said he brought them, but I wasn t there so he didn t deliver them (I was in the bathroom) lol. It was the most bogus excuse I ve ever heard. A simple I m sorry, I ll look into it would suffice. A friend got a cocktail spilled on her because of the inexperienced server but they comped her bill. Overall, it was an overpriced and poor experience but I d def consider the bar section in future. They also charged entry fees of $20 for my individual bill that cost $140.

Aura bar is always having warm and welcoming atmosphere. They have a nice variety of cocktails for any taste. Turkish night parties have cool entertainment such as live music and belly dances. I will certainly be back!!!

Ive never had such a bad experience in my life. In the section behind this bar, loud events are held under the name of special entertainment for Turks. I was not at all satisfied with this experience I had. I dont think it is a place that has kept up with Canadian culture.

Aura is such an amazing cocktail lounge! Staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. They have a lovely variety of cocktails on the menu and they even make custom drinks to suit your individual taste. The atmosphere is very cute, perfect for date night!

I had a surprise baby shower at Aura. Their service was amazing! I cannot forget the taste of the burger that they served. and it was more than 15 people at my party but the waiters were so fast and smiling all the time. It was a memorable day for me! Thanks to you guys.

I visited on a Friday night with a friend. I really loved the back patio and the potato pave we ordered to snack on, as well as 2 of the 3 cocktails I ordered. The Ocean Eyes and Fall in On were both strong an delicious, but I did not love the Holy Driver. It was described as sweet/citrusy/refreshing but I found it overly bitter. Despite that, I will definitely be back to try more cocktails and food!

Cute place and great service! However, I got one drink ($19) and shared two plates of their potato pave (each $12) between 4 people and somehow my bill came out to be $50. Even though the potato pave was to die for, the whole experience is worth the price.

It looked amazing from the outside so we went in. The cocktails are quite good. I like the dark atmosphere. But the music was just too loud for me so that kind of marred the experience a little. Overall it s a good cocktail bar.

We hosted our engagement party on their private back patio and it was AMAZING. Andy and his team worked with our budget to create a cocktail list and menu, it felt really personalized and everybody loved it so much! The cocktails were incredible (as always) and the food was absolutely delicious! Its not easy to impress a large Italian family, and they definitely pulled it off. We cant thank them enough for making our day so special, and will recommend Aura to anyone looking for a really cool venue for a party, cocktails with friends, or a romantic date night.

One of a few establishments offering outdoor heated and covered patio dining during the current lockdown (Jan 2022). It was very cozy despite the blustery conditions outside the patio. The dining experience was very enjoyable. Service was good, food was excellent, and the music was just right. We had the shared platter for two and the Metyu. Will go back again. Update: A year and a half after our excellent first date (see above) I am about to marry this beautiful woman. Aura was the perfect place for our first meeting.

Hubby & I enjoyed a couple of cocktails: Aloha Nani & Holy Driver on a Wednesday evening. The ambiance was just what we were looking for as it was quiet with comfortable seating. The service was great as our server helped us select drinks based on our respective preferences. The cocktail menu was also thoroughly laid out with customized descriptions for each (unique) drink. Our cocktails were well made & this was a lovely spot for a date night.

This place is amazing! Great cocktails and excellent service.

Nice atmosphere and good service but some of the worst cocktails Ive had in a while. They didnt know what an Aviation was and after googling the recipe, couldnt make it because they didnt have the ingredients. Then they couldnt make a decent martini despite two efforts. First I got a warm dirty martini, then a room-temperature glass of vermouth. Any self-respecting bar should know how to make a martini (and an Aviation for that matter). The rest of the cocktails (something blue and a mezcal concoction) were absurdly sweet and tasted more like alcopops. The flavors and textures were completely unbalanced. Our server was doing her best but there was clearly no knowledge behind the bar. The complimentary shots were a nice thought but as vile as the rest of the drinks. This just isnt a cocktail bar.

We wanted to try Aura to find a good cocktail bar on the eastside of the city. We were not disappointed at all! The vibe, music and aesthetic were perfect for a date, drinks with friends or a solo night at the bar. The drinks were amazing. We ordered 4 different drinks off the menu and each was delicious in their own way. The bar tender explained each drink and its ingredients to us which was excellent. Finally, we ordered a few plates off the menu and everything was excellent sizes, fresh and tasty. I will definitely be coming back!

I hosted a birthday party here recently and it was wonderful! The ambience, flexibility, food and customer service were all really well done. The back patio (which is covered) was perfect for the party. It made for a very comfortable yet chic environment for the guests and I. Additionally, I loved that we could play our own music. For date night we had planned on going to the Distillery district Christmas Market and wanted a cocktail bar to enjoy without having to walk very far, as most specialty cocktail bars in Toronto seem to be on King Street. Aura was very nearby and went way above my expectations. The food menu is small and simple with a focus on quality that would make the difference for amount of available options. The red pepper hummus was house made, chunky and more flavor than Id ever had in a spread before. We shared the truffle fries and they hit the spot, especially after all the walking that we did today. The cocktails that we came here for went way above and beyond what I had ever imagined. Almost everything used in their cocktails are house made, and change with the available resources. A tequila mezcal drink I enjoyed used spices only produced from turkey and the infusion with the tequila was unlike anything I have experienced before. It was my first time experiencing Aura and it definitely wont be the last. As great as the experience was the bartender and partner of the restaurant is what made the experience next level. He explained the stories behind the drinks and his process of infusion for everything that made it far more personable than most dining experiences I have had. Thank you so much for the experience! Anyone would be lucky to get a chance to try it themselves.

This place is amazing. I love Auras cocktails. Andy is amazing person and best cocktail shaker in town. There is back patio and ambiance is are incredible. When you go to back patio you will feel like Amazon jungle. The wall painting are so original. If you want drink of high quality cocktails, you have to try Aura.

I had mocktails and my partner had cocktails. The mocktails were amazing and interesting. They made the effort to still give you the full flavor profile and texture of the cocktail, but without the alcohol. I would go back! I also had their olives, which are simply great. Their back patio makes you feel like you could be anywhere. Lovely time!

Ok, pre-covid 19 shutdown I loved drinking cocktails, obviously that stopped in the last two years. I came out of this place and out of 4 of the cocktails that me and my friends ordered, I can tell you that they were ALL fantastic! Theres a good selection in their cocktail menu for every pallet. They do serve food there if you want to munch. And they have a cute little patio in the back... it almost makes you feel like you are on vacation. Great DJ to add music to the awesome ambience. I will be back!!

Hosted my boyfriends birthday here at Auras patio. Had 50 people here and everyone had a great time. All the drinks (cocktails AND mocktails) were phenomenal and appetizers were amazing! Arda and Andy are such amazing and accommodating hosts + Doruk the DJ was such a good vibe. Highly recommend coming here for casual drinks or hosting an event.

Cocktails on the menu were good...food options were great as well for Vegetarians.. Service however was sloppy..also we tried to order a free style drink off the menu and we got something very similar to one on the menu..overall good place to have cocktails. Cocktail presentation can be improved using clear ice and service can be improved..

I booked the back patio of Aura during the day for a private birthday celebration. I honestly couldn t speak more highly about the owners and staff. They took care of everything and allowed my guests and I to have the best time! Would definitely book another event here. Cocktails were amazing too! Pricey Cocktails/drinks and would expect the space to reflect the prices and not ikea folding tables on the patio.

Stylish and cozy cocktail bar with exceptionally well crafted and unique drinks. Also a great selection of spirits if you are just looking to try some new. Recommend for any in the area looking for to grab a drink and try something new.

Experience was great, I went for an intimate setting. And that was exactly what was given. You can hold a conversation and have great drinks.

Great patio, lovely staff and awesome DJ!

We held our holiday party here (about 50 people) and it was fantastic - a beautiful, intimate venue perfect for a party. It has a very chic, moody vibe inside, and a little back patio with heaters. Excellent cocktails! We had Aura provide the food for the party, and it was all fantastic; the meatballs and stuffed mushrooms in particular were great. I would highly recommend Aura for an event venue, or a date! I look forward to coming by for a drink/dinner some time too. Big thanks to Arda, he was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process for the party.
