3 stars because posting $8.75 for a coffee, and then asking for a tip is insane. $9+ for a coffee. You can buy so many coffees for that, or one small coffee here. I dont recommend it unless youre going to stay and work here all day, Food

This place is a rip off. Expect to pay a ridiculous amount of money for coffee or hot chocolate. A mocha is almost 9$, and am Americano is over 6$. I assume they do this because 90% of their customer base are students who get one cup of coffee and stay there all day, yet their marketplace is also wildly overpriced, and they do laundry too? Is this place a money laundering front? There are better and cheaper coffee places down the street, around 4 in walking distance. I cant think of a single reason why anyone should come here.

Great coffee!! Amazing chocolate chip cookie too. Plus the baristas were sweet. Sitting space is a little chaotic but still nice.

Simply overpriced. $6 before tip for an americano is insane. $31 for a box of 4 frozen burgers before tax? Also the smell of dry cleaning just hangs in the air. Not an enjoyable place to relax and have a coffee.

This spacious coffee bar is a great place for a quick coffee, a daytime meeting, or for hosting an evening event! I recently organized an event there that was seamless. The guests readily complimented the space, food, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage options (the hibiscus tea is divine!), and the staff were friendly and attentive.

So overpriced and the drinks are not good. Chai has no flavour, coffee super weak and burnt tasting. Better off going to one of the other cafes down the street

Good place to work with your laptop or to have a casual business meeting

It s just too expensive. Which I don t want to point finger at. But a serious problem for me is that they should REALLY put a password on their wifi. Someone is going to get hurt by that. It s 2024 aren t you aware of all the cyber attacks happening in the city. If you don t know how, I can show you how to set a password or send you a YouTube video on how to do it!

Just a typical overpriced cafe. It offers great space to work with fast WiFi. But there s no reason why packaged egg salad should be $8.99 and why this salmon on a single slice of bread costed me $21 and change.

Great work space, however, extremely expensive for what you get. Cappuccino and specialty toast came to $40 and it tasted just OK. Can go for a nice dinner and a glass of wine for that price.

Honestly love the giant cafe with tons of seating and outlets. But holy. Expensive. $28 for an iced americano and a sandwich. Service was good. But at these prices. I hope everyone makes a living wage. I get the space is vast and they are a market place as well. Lots of unique goodies to shop but once again - so expensive. Like the coffee was good and the bread for my sandwich was great but the cost is a bit out of touch. Plus not a lot of baked goods. Muffins were $6.5 . Like what?!? I ll still to coffee here and hit up Schmaltz for my bagel sandwich(which is the same cost but more hefty.)

A great working space with many tables and outlets. The hibiscus tea was good, but its a little bit expensive.

The server was great but they dont take cash and $4 for 2/3 of a small coffee. The coffee isnt worth the $4. Will not gi back.

Prices are out of control. Latte plus small muffin was just under $17.

This place is so generous and spacious to its customers. The staff is happy and helpful. The customers are writers and regulars that love to be here. Its clear Creeds loves the community and it shows. Wish there were more places like this. I drive one hour, sometimes more to spend time here with my work or meetings. Electrical outlets everywhere. Space everywhere. And the coffee and avocado toast sensational. Truly generous, and welcoming. Bravo to Creeds.

Creeds was one of the most bizarre cafes Ive been to. While I appreciate that it was open later than anything else in the area and the barista was pleasant, the vibes were very much off. The drinks were definitely overpriced for what they were. The chai latte was gritty and almost flavourless, the espresso head was grimy and had a factor in a mediocre cappuccino. The baked goods were fine, but nothing to write home about. None of this is a complaint about the barista, they seemed comfortable with their job and got us through with no problem. The atmosphere the weirdest part. While it was clean, it feels like a place venture capitalists would go to seem wealthier and more invested-in than they are. Think thinkpod, but without allocated resources. Theres a massive amount of well-equipped study space in a huge, echo-y room that would be high traffic during peak hours. The bathrooms are leagues away from the seating area, through the bizarre overpriced, understocked market area. All in all, just... weird.

Creeds is a great space serving perfect lattes with friendly service. The pop-up shops and grocery area create a market-like feel. Im not usually a fan of communal tables, but there is enough space here to make it work. I would definitely go back to meet with friends.

8 dollars for the driest muffin I ve ever had. Overpriced and filled with rich people who go there just because it s expensive.

Busy place, but staff are kind. The only problem is that although it is spacious, it is expensive for coffee and the food prices feel overpriced for the quality. However, I will always recommend this place though because you almost always have a space to sit and the music selection is great along with the staff.

Big ample tables, bright gorgeous lighting but there is nothing about this place that justifies the price point. $7.60 pre-tax for a latte, with $1 charge for oat milk. $9.72 after tax. The high cost of the espresso-based beverages makes it a no-go for me,.

Honestly. Truly shocked and disgusted by the latest price increase. An Americano after tax before tip is now over $6. This is absolutely appalling for a mediocre americano. Will no longer be frequenting Creeds.

Fantastic coffee shop with a huge sitting area.

Slow, rude service. Extortionate prices. Quoted $220 to dry clean a jacket. Went across the street to the lovely, competent and efficient dry cleaner could charge me $25 dollars for the exact same period. This is why the former Creeds empire went bankrupt and have been reduced to a coffee bar and laundry.

Creeds is a great COWORKING space, it has everything you would need for a work day. Large windows to let in a lot of light, lots of tables equipped with power strips for charging devices and free wifi. I highly recommend this space but, note it is very expensive. I got a soy matcha latte with simple syrup and it came to $9.61. Base price for a matcha latte is $7.75.

Not the best coffee/food. But atmosphere is good. You have enough space and charges to keep your laptop and work

Severely over priced.

Staff member taking my order was nice but food was really bad for >$20 (with lowest percent tip option of 15%). The croque monsieur was recommended as delicious but it tasted of too much mustard and had burnt toast edges. Also definitely not worth the price for bread, a couple slices of bacon and some cheese. I thought it was a higher priced cafe for high quality filling sandwiches but definitely overpriced (in my opinion). There was also no other orders but it took >10 min to make this one sandwich. All staff members were inside the (i assume) back kitchen area chatting and I had to wait for one to come out to ask how much longer and they said probably ~3 min so I mentioned I was somewhat in a hurry. A couple seconds later they come out with the box so I guess it was ready but maybe just sitting in the back while staff were chatting. Definitely will not be getting lunch items or toasts from them again

Beautiful space and the best staff

Dont come Sunday morning if you want the market or dry cleaners. Getting service will be next to impossible as all the staff are in the cafe part of the business. Afternoon might be better but also keep in mind its a pricey place to show compared to options in the area.

This is a great place to work and drinks and food are yum. A bit overpriced, though. I understand the concept and that people stay there for hours, so they need to charge more for the food to make it worth, but a single (and tiny) salmon sandwich cannot cost $18. In other places with similar concept for the same price, they either give you one really huge one, or they would give you at least two (of the size i received). I wish I took a photo to attach, but honestly it was smaller than my hand (and my hands are tiny lol)

One of the best cafe s to work at. Lots of tables and music isn t too loud. I love that they serve teas in a pot (highly recommend the apricot tea!) and makes you feel welcome to stay a while. Staff are always very friendly and the place is clean! It definitely is on the pricier side though, only downside.

it is a great place to work - so many tables with outlets available. but at times it can be hard to find a spot, especially since laptop people dont appear to be very approachable or open to the idea of sharing their tables. Nice minimalistic decor, with exposed ceiling and some modern art on the walls. Big windows facing south, lots of daylight.

cappuccino was $7 and not even that good, the staff looked miserable, i spent half my time there swatting away flies, and they played six mitski songs in a row. (no hate to mitski, just a weird vibe for a sunday morning.)

$23 (with tax / tip) smoked salmon toast was such a disappointment and shocking that it was so expensive. One thin, burnt piece of toast with a thin layer of salmon. It was soggy (from the fish? Lemon?), completely unappetizing and was barely even a snack for $18.95. This cafe is definitely for coffee only. Skip the food-no one else was eating that should have been a sign.

A very nice cafe to sip on some coffee, explore the fresh and gourmet good assortments, and just pop open a laptop and be productive. The staff are super friendly and the space is fairly large. Great for large meetups. Also pet friendly!

A pricier but delightful neighborhood coffee shop thats also dog-friendly ideal for those who like to work or relax for extended periods! Im a frequent visitor to Creeds because I find it an excellent place to work. The tables and chairs are comfy, and there are plenty of power sockets. While they serve excellent coffee and drinks, its worth noting that it leans towards the higher end in terms of pricing. Just for comparison, a cortado here is priced at $5.75, whereas at other coffee shops on Dupont, its around $4-4.25. The food, unfortunately, falls into the average category for its price point. Very spacious and a bright set up- so its very unlikely thar you will not find a spot! In general, Creeds has a wonderful ambiance but does come with a slightly higher price tag.

Creed s old location was much cozier and not so overrun with students on laptops. You would find a mix of people here and have the ability to find a seat which is no longer the case as well as a decent outdoor space in the summer. Also used to receive the occasional promotion via text for a no charge hot drink but that seems to have ended. Would have no issue paying the premium for their cappucino to stay but not so much for takeaway which is mostly the only option due to the folks camping out. Feels more like a sterile Starbucks. Better options along Dupont and area these days unfortunately.

While the atmosphere is great (and spacious; you ll always be able to find a seat), the coffee is literally the most expensive I ve seen in Toronto. A standard latte is $7. $8+ for a mocha. It s not even the best I ve ever had for that price, which is the crazy part. Unfortunately we don t visit for this reason. Thankfully there are cafes in the neighbourhood we like and frequent.

I never write bad reviews but While the interior is a beautiful open space with outlets and large tables everywhere (great for working) the actual food+drinks are absolutely not worth the price. We ordered an oat milk latte and it was incredibly watery with a burnt coffee flavour. The cups they use don t have handles, so you re struggling to hold a burning cup. We ordered the avocado toast, which was extremely disappointing considering the price. You get a very thin slice of bread, burnt on one side, with a thin smear of avocado spread that tastes like it is from a package, and a pile of pickled onions which haven t been cut so you re chomping on 10 inch long strings. We also got a tea, which was nice but came in a poorly insulated teapot so it cooled very quickly. We tipped 15% and they didn t even bring over our order (even though they said they would), they just yelled out the items and we went up to collect them. For these 3 items with the tip we paid $33.34, which is just shocking considering the quality of the items and service. Overall a very poor experience and we won t be returning.

Very spacious and good for working/studying with plenty of outlets. However very expensive if you re just looking for good coffee/hot drink and some light bites. Got a matcha latte with oat milk and a breakfast sandwich and it came to 25+ after taxes. The matcha latte starts at $7 which is pretty steep, and it didn t taste special or anything.

I m feeling under the weather, thought I d get the turmeric latte and man was that a mistake. Don t do it, I could not force myself to drink it. But other than that, this seems like a really nice place to work from. Will be back to try a regular latte.

I have been passing Creeds for a long time and decided to grab a coffee and some food for take away. Latte was solid. No complaints. However, the curry chicken wrap was soggy and flavourless. For $15 I was hoping for more. I also bought a piece of banana bread. It was fine. My total before tip was $30. Would go for coffee again, but wouldn t bother with the food. If I wanted to pay $15+ for a sandwich item, I ll go down the street to Schmaltz.

I don t like how they up-charge everything (esp since their coffee and snacks are just ok) but also don t list their prices, seems v disingenuous.

Probably the worst americano I have ever had - watered down and overpriced. To make it worse, the woman at the cash had zero courtesy - forget about customer service. However, the guy with the long hair was super nice and tried to make up for his rude coworker. The atmosphere is bland and the seating is uncomfortable.

I dislike very much the new cafeteria look in this cafe. Such a cold feel and not cozy like their first location. A regular coffee and a scone costed me $12.00. Its a crazy expensive Cafe. It reminds me of a cybercafe and nothing special.

Great cafe with lots of options and seating! I went here today to study/work and it s perfect for that purpose - there is free wifi plus lots of charging stations at each table. The food and coffee options are not bad but definitely on the pricier side for the size and quality. I also loved the little adjoining store!

Got the breakfast sandwich which was underwhelming to say the least. For $15 you d expect a decent sandy. It was oily and quite flavourless. Staff is nice and knowledgeable which I appreciate but overall wouldn t return.

6/10 for coffee rating. I got a cappuccino with oat milk, my expectations were high because of the coffee reviews, but it was nothing special. Spent 8$ and was left unsatisfied. You know when there is no depth to a cup of coffee? this had no depth at all. Wasnt worth 8$ at least... it was acidic and watery tasting, Ive had much better cappuccinos for 8$ and these were from smaller shops in the downtown area. They charge way too much for the quality.. Youre paying to work there because of their open seating. Overall, its expensive for what it is, was just left so unsatisfied and wasted 8$. The food is very pricey too. youre just paying for the seating is all. they sell coffee beans, but lacked any information of where the beans were sourced, the roasted date, etc. Maybe I went in there with too many expectations, otherwise I wouldnt have left unsatisfied.

I luv my afternoon oat cap and don t mind the $$$ for great grinds but for almost $9 (w/ 15% tip) for meh! coffee I would rethink about coming back. I was impressed with the marketplace and tho still priced on the much higher range, there we re some very interesting foods. Truffle hot sauce/mayo/ketchup, blue cheese stuffed and/or unique olives, rare finds tonic and bubbly water, and cheese and chocolates .

I d say they did a great job and displaying local gourmet items but the coffee, baked goods and sandwiches are overpriced for what they are. They have such an open lovely space but the tables and seats weren t wiped down and had leftover crumbs on it. They validate parkings for an hour.

Bought some discounted marshmallows to try via Too Good To Go app. Was shocked to find the marshmallows were covered in mold. Checking the best before date, there was still one day left. But... Whats this, theres another best before sticker under the top one and its dated from almost a month ago! Check the other reviews for this place, multiple users with the same experience using too good to go.

$15 something for small latte and muffin that was quite dry, 1 barista with short bowl hair got that I don t think wanna be here, hate my job vibe and some attitude. Asked if it was my drink and she gave the most nonchalant 0 care response. The latte I make better and bolder taste caffeine from home.

I m not sure why anyone would support this place - everything in here is incredibly overpriced. I m assuming it s because they have a giant square footage and rent must be quite high but the cost of food and drinks is comical. For example, they sell a bag of fancy dumplings for about $22 - that same bag at any other market is $15. That s a 50% markup. I can only assume that s about the standard there with jars of red sauce and meatballs going for $40 and bad coffee and breakfast sandwiches also going for way higher than they should. Avoid.

Ive seen shops change location and go downhill but Creeds on DuPont really dropped! Old Creeds had spacious but intimate tables, impeccably clean toilets, friendly staff and the wonderful ladies at the dry cleaners. New Creeds has polite but not particularly friendly staff, absolutely filthy bathrooms, massive nice space but not as relaxing, and nice dry clean ladies are nowhere to be seen.

Food - A high end gorcery store and a cafe to boot. Its a community meet-up spot, and its unexpectedly good. You can find food and brands youve probably not interacted with often. Mostly, prepared food, snacks, and drinks. It was neat to explore. However, it is very expensive. Service - In addition to the cafe and gorcery there is also a dry cleaning service. The staff were friendly and professional. I cant complain. Ambiance - Clean and bright, wasnt expecting it to be so big. Its close to dupont station and was lively.

While the ambiance of the cafe was nice, I was hoping to do a quick take our order for coffee. I had ordered an Americano and a cold brew. The flavour of the americano was mediocre. For the price I paid, I was hoping for a better cup of coffee. For the cold brew, I had waited 10 minutes and they said that they had to change a barrel, and it wasnt ready and it would take some time (They really should have advised me of this before I placed my order). I was in a rush so I said I couldnt wait so they offered me an iced americano instead. Since I couldnt wait, I had to say yes...there was never an offer for the compensation of a price difference. So in the end I paid $7 for a $4.75 cup of ice americano. I was not impressed with this and dont think Ill be returning again.

Very disappointing. My partner ordered the grilled cheese, hardly any cheese and it was topped off with the core of a tomato. For what they charge it should have been exceptional. My avocado toast was ok. The iced latte was good and the carrot/walnut muffin wasn t bad but a bit too oily.

I used to go here all the time at the old location - but even then it was expensive to get a cup of coffee and one of their toasts. I went recently and I just can t justify it. The new grocery section doesn t add anything for me.

Came here with some friends for coffee and tea, was punched in the nose (figuratively) by the overwhelming smell of cinnamon/maple/sugar/buckwheat?? Then I bought a super expensive coffee which was average tasting and another friend bought a tea (for $5??!! It s just water and some tea leaves??!!) The staff were super friendly and the tables are huge which is probably ideal for studying.

Finally tried Creed after driving past this place on Dupont all the time. Came on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of seating available inside and outside. This place is dog friendly and huge! I really like how opened it was. I ordered an Americano and it was on the costlier side around $5.00 a cup. They also have a market which I didnt check out. Would recommend and come back to hang around or work out of here.

The worst coffee ever drunk in Canada

The most expensive coffee in the city, $7.15 for a flat white with oat milk. Lots of seating. Water station. Lots of plugs. Good for computer work minus the loud ventilation. Big front windows so lots of natural light. Food : 4/5

I visited this cafe this morning and ordered an avocado toast and an iced matcha. The toast was delicious, but the iced matcha was very watered down for the price. My biggest complaint was the state of the washrooms - they were absolutely disgusting and I nearly lost my appetite.

Very spacious modern and clean coffee shop with a little grocery store. They have wine and a bunch of other food such as cheese, prosciutto, truffle salt, olive oil etc you can buy. The wines are a bit over priced as well as the coffee. I guess it s for using the space there. Work friendly environment, bunch of easily accessible power cords. Moderate noise level.

Ordered an overpriced ice latte to go and when i asked the barista for a straw when I couldnt find one I was told they ran out?? This is the first business Ive been to that did not advise of a supply outage prior to taking your order and I was genuinely confused. There are too many businesses in toronto like this that do not have adequate customer service but wont hesitate to ask for tips its getting ridiculous.

Massive place with a lot of open air, costly but boutique experience

I was invited by a friend, The place is huge, have a market inside for food and also some accessories which makes the place very nice. We had moca, banana bread and tried the unique masala coffee (picture) which we never had before, we were until the closing time and no interruption. Servers were very polite and friendly! Free water is offered too. Parking: the building has a paid parking at the back, if you register you plate no. in the coffee shop, you can have 30 minutes free parking!

Vibe, coffee, workers, location everything is PERFECT!! It s really specious inside and there are many tables and seats. Ive never tried any foods here, but some of my friends say its good!! The price of Coffee is not expensive, not too cheap, just reasonable. Workers are really kind and friendly!! For me, location is good cuz I m living near here. Thank you so much every time!!

Terrible experience! Today I attended this coffee shop with a friend, I ordered a tea and the representative served the tea pot without the lid, I ask him if he would have one at some point and if he could let me know, and he was very rude and aggressive. The situation was very odd, and the other customers also saw this exaggerated attitude from him. My friend was very disappointed as well. Firstly is not the way to treat any person that way and worse if you are paying for a service. Secondly, the lid is important to avoid any accident of getting burned for hot water spilled and to maintain the tea with the right temperature. As a bartender and customer specialist, I can tell the service provided was awful.

We have been using this cafe for our Sunday meeting for 5 years since they were in the last location. The owner always respond us quickly and super kind. The baristas are all very friendly and always provide the best service. The drinks and food are delicious, especially I love the salted caramel scones! You must try it! There is also a supermarket there, which sells a lot of wonderful things, so it is also recommended to buy a small gift. Creeds is my favorite place in Annex. You should definitely try them!

Their foods are overpriced. but I love their Banana cake that was really tastyy! my bf ordered just yogurt and it was over $10. they have wifi, outlets, and a lot of seats so you can study and work with your friends:)

This place is theoretically a good idea--a nice big coffee shop set up for people to sit and work in, but in actual fact, the place is crazy expensive (>$6 for a latte), the seating is uncomfortable, and its cold! I worked here for 2 hours and never warmed up enough to take off my coat.

The baristas here make great latte. There s also a good range of grocery. Instead of 10 different brands of the same thing they have a few better quality selection of most items. Parking: Street parking varies from prohibited, paid to free based on time of day. Some side streets have free parking. The paid parking garage behind always has plenty of spots.

Its huge and the best part is it is dog friendly. Good - speed wifi and coffee. I got a macha latte. I like the vibes, everyone is doing their own thing on their laptops which motivates me to be productive.

ATTENTION COMMONERS: this is not the store for you. If you must know the price of the things you wish to buy, keep walking! This is regarding their shelved and refrigerated section, which is basically a grocery store at this point ninety percent of the items in Creeds have no listed prices. Lucky for you, if you have to ask, its probably too expensive! There were literally no staff in the empty store, including behind the registers. (Honest question: Is it okay to grab one of the busy baristas at the other end of the store as a personal shopper, to tag along as I enquire about the price of each item Im considering purchasing?) Even bougie SummerHill market around the corner knows that customers arent mind readers and dont like sticker shock.

Sandwiches were crispy and tasty, lots to choose from...we did all day breakfast and tuna melt sandwich...as was coffee and tea options. Quaint dried food grocery shop next door for your niche needs. Comfie and abundance of seats around. Nice place to relax for an hour or two to spare. Parking: Limited street parking off main road.

Its a nice big coffeeship, and last minute store to pick essential food items. Theres always a couple spot out front to sit and chill on the sun.

Had spent almost a whole day with my friends while doing homework. It is a really nice and relaxed place. Great customer service and love the coffee.

Was in the area and came across this place, an interesting concept of grocery/cafe/work space. Had a very well made cortado and a scone, both delicious. The work area is set up super well,it was very easy to sit down and study. There was also a nice outdoor seating area for outdoor dining. Products in the grocery area seem very good quality, with a lot of them being local. Great find

Way too expensive ! 1 Cappuccino, 1 slice bread open faced avocado toast for $27!! We get lot more value at other Nice coffe/sandwichs spots.

Great place to study with large tables. I could see it feeling quite tight if every seat were taken up. Large extension bars/outlets on tables are available to charge your devices. Super friendly service! Lost a because we had to move to another table (extension bar wasnt working) & they dont have prices posted on the menu ($$$) Parking: Limited parking, pretty tight if you had to back out if it was full

Ordered a decaf iced latte, machine read $7.35 (2022) I was shocked. Received a tiny cup (10 or 12oz) portion, quality was barely mid. Theres coffee all over Dupont street, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I BEG YOU.

I ve been wanting to check this place for a while and i had seen online it was open till 6. Unfortunately for me they hadn t updated their opening hours on google and came in 10 mins too late since they close at 4.

my drink was cold, and it was pretty pricey ($11 for a dirty chai). great place to get work done though and cool grocery store.

I got a latte with oat milk and maple flavouring. It was soooo good. One of the best lattes I ve ever tried. They also have a market inside that has unique items you don t find in your normal grocery store. Such a great place to hang out and the barista/cashier was awesome

So the problem here is really just the prices! We got two drinks (Cappuccino and London Fog) and two sandwiches (Avocado Toast and Croc Monsieur). We paid $49!!!!!!!!!!! This was not a delivery order, we were there. That price does not include tip. I wish I had taken pictures. The sandwiches are tiny, and while they didnt taste bad per-se they definitely werent out of this world as I would have expected considering the price. The drinks were exactly the same. Tiny, and while they tasted fine, they were nothing special. If cant recommend this place to anyone. Its just not worth the money. If it was like 30% cheaper it would MAAYYBE be worth it, but even then only because its a nice location and service is okay.

30$ for 2 americanos and a mediocre grilled cheese. Throw a few chips or some greens and might be passable. Took a solid 10 minutes to get the coffees. Meh. There were no prices on most of the products .Good luck

Someone doing repairs on a Saturday afternoon, which created loud noise. This is not an environment i appreciate when i pay $7 for a latte.
