Great local spot with delicious sandwiches and pastries. The owner and staff are super friendly and give out dog treats to your dog. Awesome atmosphere and a great value add to the neighborhood.

The guy at the counter is amazing. 5/5 stars for service and the guy seems to genuinely love his job! The coffee tasted great. I had the Daily Feature which was a veggie pastry and they took it out of the counter to heat it but after 15 minutes I reminded them I m waiting for the daily feature and they put it in a paper sleeve to give it to me. It wasn t reheated thoroughly and the filling inside was mushy and stale. The Danish my girlfriend got was also meh in her words. TLDR- Coffee good. Food bad. Service great.

Good quality coffee and a selection of ready-to-eat and frozen meals! The owner and staff are very friendly, you can chat with them almost every time you visit. Great to chill in the few tables they have. However dependent on the weather and your tolerance.

The coffee was okay but the bagel I got was awful. It came to 19 dollars for a bagelwich and coffee which in my opinion is outrageous. The bagel was so stale it was basically rock solid, and the smoked salmon on the bagel also seemed like it had been sitting out all day. Will not be back!

Stopped in for a quick coffee and ended up tempted by the gorgeous pastries. The vegan patty is arguably the best in the city, and the cherry cheese was delicious. I love supporting local so will definitely be back.

Unfortunately the google listing gave the impression that there was seating at this cafe but during our winter visit this turned out not to be available anymore as they changed the layout to no longer include seating. The photos should be updated. Otherwise, the foods looked delicious, what we ate was good, but the coffee may have been a bit over cooked or an older pot.

I was looking forward to try this place. I decided to get a Too Good to Go surprise package. After inspecting what I got, I went back to ask if I got the proper value. No prices of the pastries are posted anywhere inside their place. To find the prices, you have to click on doordash or ubereats. In order to make sure I got the proper value, I went back to ask the owner. He was defensive and rude. He called out the prices of the items when checking on his register and said he always gives more than the value and for me not to come back. The donuts were nothing special and not as appealing as in their website and the tart was burnt (see photo lop left). I have shared many reviews as a google scout and cant recommend this place. It is overpriced and the service is poor. I will never return and dont recommend.

Highly recommend this cafe. The owner is very friendly and took the time to talk to us. The food was great as well and reasonably priced. The breakfast wrap was delicious and filling. Had to go back for seconds after trying some of my friends pastry.

I have been there mutiple times and tried their ice cream and other drinks which was fine. But, the owner was a completely different person when I went there to pick too good to go. The pick up time was 7 p.m. I was there a few minutes early and waited in line. By the time, it was my turn, I said I am here for too good to go. The owner said I have to serve other customers in line. He said its not even 7 p.m. you have to wait. In fact, it was pass 7 p.m. and he just ignored after he saw the time on the TV. After the customers left, he went to the back started to put stuff in the box and gave it to me. I felt like I was being a bagger looking for free food. I truly dont understand why he is participating in too good to go because he is losing potential and current customers. Such a rude person I have ever dealt with.

Super cute local cafe with lots of food and drink options. They have ice cream, coffee beverages, and great sandwiches and pastries. No indoor seating, but they do have some outdoor seats. Service is always friendly and relatively prompt.

DO NOT tip! Unfortunately, the staff are mistreated and the owner keeps the tips to himself. I was shocked to find this out. The food and drinks are otherwise good, but only worth it if you think their poor staff treatment is acceptable...I wont be returning

This is the cafe that almost functions as a community center. Staff is absolutely dedicated and friendly. I recommend sandwiches, especially BLT with egg!

Coffee (drip) was okay and oat latte not so good. Chocolate chip muffin seemed over a day old and slightly stale. Owner seemed nice.

Ordered their eggplant parm and piri piri chicken club sandwiches from DoorDash. My first time trying Gaspar s food. Really fantastic! Large portions, great buns, and the flavours were exceptional. On the short short list of best sandwiches in the city in my opinion. Excited to try their other sandwiches. Will absolutely order from them again.

We had coffee and breakfast sandwiches at Gaspar this weekend. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The owner is so sweet and friendly! This is a great local spot and our new go-to for sandwiches, coffee and treats!

Terrible food. Terrible service. Terrible attitude by our server. The breakfast sandwich had an egg in it that was like rubber. It didnt even look like an egg. They would not make the smoothie with regular milk (only almond milk), and the veggie sandwich was greasy and had 2 vegetables: tomatoes and eggplant, so greasy AND bland. Everything LOOKS good, but it is not...and very pricey for a takeout stand.

Everything is always fantastic and delicious. I love it. Ive tried the tuna salad sandwich, bifana sandwich, meat lovers, smoked salmon bagel, and they were all amazing. Ive also had salted caramel ice cream and it was fabulous as well as the chocolate hazelnut crunch. Definitely a great spot!

I had a great sandwich. BUT one of the worst lattes I have had in recent times. Either cheach espresso machine or poor batista skills. For the high price point I was not happy.

We are builidng a basement around the corner and one of my staff told me he was going for lunch at the Cafe around the corner. I tried it out the next day .I stopped takeing lunch. Awesome to have a place so close with great food .had cappuccino today for the whole crew and lunch. To who ever owns the place the chef thank you so much food was awesome great place .told my wife were takeing a ride on the weekend. So she can see whos feeding her man .

I have been helping my daughter and son-in-law move into the neighbourhood and ordered several items from Gaspar - both sweet and savoury. Everything I ordered and tasted was so incredibly delicious! You can tell that everything is home made and made with love. From the food to the service to the treats for the dogs, not only is this a neighbourhood hotspot, but well worth the drive if you dont live near there. I know Ill be back - often!!!

I have eaten a lot of eggplant parmesan sandwiches around the city. This place hands down has the best one and the homemade hot sauce was amazing. Glad I found it Id definitely recommend trying it out.

Everything Ive ever had from Gaspar has been very fresh and tasty. Today I had an eggplant parmesan sandwich. The eggplant was crisp, the bread wasnt soggy and it was perfectly seasoned. The coffee is very good as well. Staff are awesome too.

Just recently found out about this place! Great service. Its located in a nice quiet area just off of the rail pathway. The ice cream is quite good and fairly priced, as well as the coffee. Totally worth a visit!

Coffee, pastries, delicious sandwiches Ice cream! This place has everything - even prepared meals to go and CANDY. It is a bit more expensive than other places in the neighbourhood but the quality is great. The people are friendly and the service is efficient.

This place has the best breakfast bagels in the city! We love to pick up breakfast and coffee on our morning walk. Our dog loves this place too because of their dog treats. On hot afternoons they also have a great variety of ice cream flavors, not to be missed!

The smoked salmon sandwich was really good. There isnt any shade till the late afternoon. They have outside tables. No washrooms. The front-end staff was a bit rough. Could have just been a bad day.

Delicious baked goods, and flavourful coffee. They also fill the iced coffee right to the brim, which nowhere else does! The staff is lovely too, they brought out treats for my dog.

Worth going just to see the selection of pastries, croquettes, croissants, etc. Everything Ive tried so far has been great, tastes fresh. Really nice owner feds your dog treats too. Somewhat weak coffee is the only negative.

A neighbourhood staple with friendly owner and staff. Delicious pastries and awesome coffee! A tad bit pricier than other coffee shops in the area but the service and quality of food/drinks is consistently high!

Came here for the first time ever yesterday, and ended up having the best chocolate croissant of my life here. I wasnt sure what to get, but then was incredibly lucky that as I was ordering they just brought out fresh croissants from the oven, so I had to get one and it was the best choice. Ive never eaten a croissant like that before, the pastry was so beautifully soft, but not too flaky, and the chocolate inside was perfectly melted with the right amount of richness. The entire croissant was so fresh and warm - incredible experience. I realize I wont always be so lucky with my timing and not every croissant I get will be this fresh, but Im also confident the ones not straight out of the oven will be good based on this experience. The quality of the pastry and chocolate was just so good that I know itll still be a great croissant. Will 110% be back for more croissants and to try other items - everything else looked super promising and I feel like this will become a regular spot for me - the brownie looks incredible too (although I will probably try to learn the times they bring out fresh croissants haha).

Sandwiches and sweets are neatly lined up in the showcase, making it hard to decide which one to buy. Popular items include smoked salmon croissant and vegetable sandwich. The vegetable sandwich with well-grilled eggplant, zucchini, and cheese was very satisfying and delicious.
