I didnt expect my cake to be reheated beyond recognition and not having vanilla ice cream to serve with it was just sad. The coffee was good but not having cream for coffee seems like a basic mistake. It was freezing in the restaurant. Glad to see uber drivers didnt have to wait even though it meant dine-in patrons did.

12/14/24 - it took for about half an hour 10:50pm-11:20pm for one order of hot chocolate hazelnut. Told them twice for my order 10 minutes in between and it didn t come until the third time I came up to the cashier and that s when it came out. PS-it wasn t so busy at that time.

Yum yum good. Its really delicious. If you want to eat something sweet while exploding calories, go for it,,,, haha. And its even better if you stay up late at night!!! Oh my!! Hahaha there are so many menus.

The choco lava cake was so delicious and even the strawberry cheesecake. Service was very good Vegetarian options: Please have some more veg burgers

Our group of 10 visited DSpot, and the service was fantastic! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite the size of our group, they handled our orders efficiently and with a smile. As always, the lotus milkshake at this location did not disappoint its consistently amazing and a must-try. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and cant wait to come back!

I ve always had many issues in the evenings with this location in terms of their food quality and taste in comparison to other locations. In the past I have ordered a crepe and could tell the batter had got bad since the taste was absolutely bitter and horrible. I have also ordered their chipotle chicken poutine and almost threw up cause the meat had gone bad. went back to the location for a full refund. In conclusion, i wouldn t risk it for the biscuit. Instead go to another location to save your taste buds and health.

I had no idea this place was close to home but I am sure glad we found it. The food was very delicious and yummy...especially the crispy chicken sandwich! The staff was very polite and friendly. The space is clean and charming and the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again in the future.

We was there at 10:40 pm on labor day the closing time was 12:00 at midnight and we was waiting for 20 min for taking order.after giving we received our order we was very disappointed It worst service. 1) server give us plastic cutlery and drink on plastic glass( the excused was we are closing and it s was 1 hour left) 2) we received cake only half portion 3) pistacho ice cream was like milkshake 4) we received extra 1 milk shake on our total bill.

Ordered from this location with DoorDash at 8pm, at 9pm I get a call from my dasher saying the person at the restaurant gave my order to someone else! Then when he put me on the phone with her she yelled at me that I was wrong and that the dasher had already taken it (he had not, the app even said it hadn t been picked up yet). We spent $96 on that order and waited an hour just to be yelled at, and in the end didn t even get our food! The staff clearly were not careful and did not follow the proper procedures in making sure my order got in the right hands!

We came to this dspot and immediately after we got in we can see the mess of previous customers still on the tables! None of the employees bothered to clean up and the messes were still there for the entirety of our visit. Despite this sight, we still ordered, we got the croffles which were pretty decent. HOWEVER, we waited over 30 minutes to receive our food, only when we went up to the cashier to inform them about how long we were waiting did they start preparing our order. When our order came out, we asked for utensils which were FILTHY, everything was either sticky, had reminisce of food, or had stains, which was absolutely disgusting! We ended up asking for disposable utensils. If the utensils were this unhygienic, we could only imagine how unhygienic the food preparation process is!

We had the Pistache Funnel Cake and it was beyond amazing! My bf had the latte and it was perfectly made. Ps: Portion of ice cream on the funnel cake was 5 scoops, proportions exceeded expectations!

Desserts were good but customer service wasn t the best. The server was sweet but it seemed like she forgot about us, didn t come to check on the table and took forever to bring the bill.

I just wanted to order a slice of cake for take out, it was a chocolate cake but had no label. I pointed out the cake to the lady taking my order and seemed to be confused she brought over another lady with no manners what so ever and took my order, whatever. I waited over 10 minutes for a slice of cake that was in the display this were 2 People in front of me that ordered cake and ice cream when the 2 people in front of me orders were ready, the orders were brought to their seats. When my order was ready mine was not brought over and I was called to get it. I find that was very rude, not good service at all.

It was our first time and we hope to come again. Friendly, helpful staff. The portions were so big, we had to ask to take the rest of the food home. Next time we will come for breakfast.

Amazing service and place to eat

Stay away from this location. Visited on December 31 in the early evening. Should have know something was wrong with that place when we walked in and it was empty and deserted. We went to use the washroom first- it was equipped with a filthy toilet and a sink that has not seen a cleaning product in eons. To compare, the washrooms at many Toronto subway stations are cleaner than at this Dspot location. One of the washrooms had a broken door that would not lock. Another washroom with a working lock had no toilet paper or soap. There was unflushed urine in one toilet, and there was urine splatter on the seat of another toilet. Pick and choose the best washroom to use- sit on pee stained seat, or pee in pee full toilet with a door that does not lock. Then, we tried to choose what to order and had a bit of a hard time, as the electronic menu screen behind the cash kept changing the screen too fast to be able to read. The staff did not bother to offer us a hard copy of the menu, which we only saw was available after we had already placed our order. By the way, the paper copy of the menu is greasy and oily- do not touch it- remember that there is no soap to wash your hands with in the washroom! We ordered three different food items from the very grumpy staff members who looked like they hates us for coming in. Left a tip as well as we were planning to eat there and thought we would be served. We proceeded to sit at the table and wait. When our order was ready, they simply put it out on top of the cake fridge display by the cash and left it there, didn t call my name or let me know in any way that my order was ready. At that point we were sitting at the table waiting to be served. I guess this place is a self serve, if I knew I would not have left a tip at all since I had to get up three times to go up to the cash to get my food and bring it to the table. Why do you ask for tips, if you provide no service? The food itself tasted like raw dough, completely inedible. The waffle was cold. The ice cream was ok. $75+ gone to waste. When we were leaving, we left all the plates and cutlery on the table. We got evil eye from the cashier girl as we were leaving. I don t know what it was all about. She kept glaring at us through the window even when we were outside. Stay away from this location unless you want raw food and a curse from an evil eyed cashier.

We got the buy one get one croffle deal along with a hot dog and burger. A bit pricey but tasty all in all.

The servers should not smell, especially in a food area, it makes me not want my food. Second the food is whatever, the workers are all over the place. Our order took forever to come. We ordered drinks before our desert and it came after the food. This place has no sanitary conditions to serve. #publichealthcomeasap D-Spot Queensway is AMAZINGGGG.

The D spot has delicious treats on a hot summer day

I tried this place and I got it to go. I got something that is like a flurry and I got a matcha shake. The presentation was non existent. They had no flavour . And in cardboard takeout cups with lids . Not worth the money. Sad because I had looked forward to going there for so long and kept putting it off. It was definitely a real put off. I hate that you don t get valu for your money anymore.

Ice cream and desserts are good, but customer service is not. You must look at the menu and pay before sitting and wait for your order to be ready and pick up. Also, you should leave your table clean and take your dishes after youre done.

I have been ordering D SPOT from the Queensway location for almost two years and was so incredibly happy to find out recently from a friend that they opened a Stockyards location. Being HUGE fan of their crepes, I decided to give the Stockyards location a chance. I am so upset to have to say I ve ordered a total of three times and each time they re gotten some part of my order wrong - from receiving rotten strawberries, from not receiving the extras I ve paid for, to having the wrong toppings added without my consent or notice of it (having allergies they could be a very unpleasant and serious issue) I am really disappointed at the negligence and complete disregard to not just one of my orders, but all three of them. To avoid any miscommunication on two of these orders Ive even tried to take it an extra step and call in to clarify what it is I m ordering - to which I got no response; either they don t care for their customers or they re refusing to answer the phone which to my understanding is A. A missed business opportunity and B. Very unprofessional in the hospitality industry. I was hoping to speak to someone about this privately, but I haven t been able to get a hold of anyone to do so

Ordered the cheesy fries via Uber Eat from this location! This is what came in the box! Just fries! No cheese and no spring onion! They served me fries that was cooked the day before and reheated on the day that I ordered it! It s astonishing how to can even send food like this out!

Best dessert spot ever

I visited this place couple times but unfortunately wasn t very happy with the way the dese was presented, especially after visiting two different location of D spot. I ordered a twisted and cookie signature sundae in which the brownie was hard and moreover was mixed with ice to make it rock solid.

Had a fantastic time with our family! Great food, desert and customer service. Our kids werent happy with how spicy the hot dog was and the manager, Fazel, come to talk to us personally and took great care of us. Thank you! Food : 5/5

i love the funnel cakes and the atmosphere

This location sucked. Ordered the divide and conquer and two karak chai. The waffle was dry and the brownies pieces were cold. The karak chai didnt have milk and when we went to tell the only server he said thats how they do it. We had to remind him the chai which was suppose to be steamed with milk didnt have any milk. This place is take out joint. Paper plates and plastic utensils. The other location such as Scarborough, Mississauga or Etobicoke had better service and ambience. Wouldnt recommend this location over other D SPOT locations.

Avoid this location!!! I have never had such slow service at a D spot before this location. I went in at night when there were 2 tables that were already served. The lady did not even acknowledge that we were waiting, so I had to go up front to get a menu and order. The order took 40 minutes. After a long wait, I saw the plate sitting on the counter so I just went and got it. The crepe was not even cooked properly, it was still raw. Its definitely my first and last time going here!!! Service was super slow, there were 3 people working and still could not manage the orders. Took way too long and people were getting impatient. Highly DO not recommend this location!

Great quality food that isnt the fake powder you find at other places. Food is made with real fruits. They have burgers as well but we only went in for the deserts. Great milkshakes and cakes. Had New York Style cheesecake that came with sause and strawberries. It was great and I will be going back again to try other things. Especially because it has a big menu that isnt just desserts.

Sugar overload! I know this is a dessert spot meant to be sweet but there is a balance. The recipes seem to include 99% sugar and 1% respective flavour. Had the chocolate cake, biscuit cake, hot chocolate.

Recently ordered lava cake thru Uber for $24 and when order arrived the cake was very small ( 3 inch ) which was a ripp off. A nice dessert in a fancy restaurant costs $10-12, why Dspot price a small size lava case $24!! I wont buy again!!!
