Rosewood Asian Cuisine in Toronto

I visited this place while I was visiting the AGO in the morning. The customer service is amazing and friendly staffs. I ordered three dishes from their a la carte menu and there were very delicious and Pu Er tea was very authentic.

As far as Dim Sum, this place cannot be any better. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. My only negative is thus: I booked a reservation for thirteen (which actually turned into fourteen). They proceeded to provide us with a small round table with a rectangular table butted up against it. And to add to this, it was setup beside a busy walkway for the servers. Before they started to take our order, they constantly asked us to move so that we wouldnt block the walkway. I then suggested that maybe they should move us upstairs where there was more room. We did go upstairs, but then had to move six or seven small square tables together in a line. This arrangement didnt allow our little gathering to talk to the family members at the opposite end. The only way for us to talk with others was to play Ring around the Rosies and constantly change seats. I wouldnt mind if we just walked off the street, but I made a reservation days in advance!! Our little party spent almost $800, and to have this unthoughtful arrangement was unfathomable to me. Just to reiterate, the food and service was outstanding. The treatment of the sitting arrangements were abhorent.

Its an institution of the city. Service is about on par with other establishments in Chinatown. Food is maybe a little lacking in quality, but they do AYCE so cant complain. Atmosphere is a bit weird with the depth of the restaurant being a dark void compared to the forward brightly lit dining area.

Very rude staff, the food was delicious, but they took the plates away before my friends and I had time to finish without even asking us if we were done. In the end, they were unhappy with the tip and demanded more. Not recommended, terrible service

The wait time was a bit long, but the sweet & sour pork and the shrimp fried rice were so good. I will definitely come back here again.

Their menu, especially the dim sum options (e.g. Shu Mai, Har Gow, Chicken Feet, etc..) are delicious. Some of the dishes could be improved, but everything I order is generally good given its price. Not to mention it s one of the few dim sum restaurants that has AYCE and is open late. Give it try if you haven t already!

Very delicious, I feel like I was back in high school eating mooncakes and fried chili.

This location gave me food poisoning and my stomach hurt like crazy ever since and Im taking medication to help right now. Its that bad. I tasted mold on one tufu shrimp on top for dim sum. Including the food is not fresh at all. The dumplings are super big like 2 inches, I can taste the difference its been reheated before and the curry squid was over cooked because its not fresh. The prices they charge isnt cheap and the cheung fun was thick low quality style dim sum. Its absolutely terrible that I cant even believe they lasted this long. The renovation is really nice but the food is terrible. I dont know if its because I came on a Wednesday because they claim a lot of items are not on the menu. It was literally dead there. My stomach hurts for a few days after eating this place and the funniest part. Accross the street there is cheaper options to eat and better quality. Thats the part that bothers me and I spent literally $50 and didnt even eat it all. Its gross. Normally I wouldnt even waste food like that either. When I spend that much money on eating there. I cant understand how people would even rate this place any good after my stomach hurts like crazy after eating here. Been sick ever since. I eaten many dim sum throughout my lifetime and this place is the lowest quality dim sum place I have ever been to and the decorations is extremely beautiful, not the food. The guy was saying how the heater is busted in October and its super cold inside there. Its terrible.

I used to order the shrimp dumplings here alll the time they were my favourite, however I think they changed them recently cuz they are not the same or consistent. Still a go-to of mine nonetheless.

Decent dim sum for downtown Toronto. A good variety of steamed rolls, fairly good cheong fun and sui mai, and delicious hom sui gok. The traditional steamed chicken on glutinous rice is fine and well sized. Good tea and friendly responsive staff. Get there early as its usually slammed by 10am.

Definitely recommend! Most of the dim sum items were very fresh and tasty. Got the all you can eat option for $37 (weekday). True AYCE dim sum is pretty rare so this was a cool experience. Recommend: - siu mai - dumpling soups - beef ribs - tripe - any of the shrimp items (har gow, dumplings, fried wontons, etc. Shrimps were plump, fresh and very juicy with a lot of shrimp! Avoid: - xiaolongbao - wasn t very fresh. - Steamed Rice rolls - rice rolls were way too thick and chewy, they should be thin and soft

Cantonese cuisine

Rosewood is a Toronto go to late night spot. Open till 3 am everyday and the staff there are always super chill and easy going. The dim sum is pretty good! Service is quick! They take card and cash but Id bring cash if youve got it! Perfect for a late night dim sum craving

Brought my mom here for dim sum and the food, as always, was delicious. Only wish this restaurant was more wheelchair accessible and hope that its something they will consider in future renovations. Wheelchair accessibility: There are 5 steps to get up to the main enterance. Fortunately my mom was able to climb them with our support, and we were able to store her wheelchair beside front door.

The dim sum tasted excellent. The service was good and the price-performance ratio was right.

Service was terrible. I told the server we received the wrong order and she took it away but never bringing the right order back so we thought they took it out of the bill. But when I received the bill, it was included and I misread it for something else and paid for an order I never gotten.

The food taste and quality is average so I used to come here often when they had 50% off dim sum. I feel like that s the right price for the quality I get. So it was a good place to go to when you are on a tighter budget. I tried the AYCE for dinner and spent $50 after tax and tip. They charge for the Chinese tea now too which is free by standard in Chinese restaurants. Even if I had ordered 11 dimsum items in total, including dessert, $50 felt expensive. I feel like $30 may (before tax and tip) is the right price for the quality, and tea should be free, even if it is another kind other than the standard pu-er.

i ordered on Uber eats for number 16 braised chicken feet and it smells so bad when I open the container. It s definite not fresh and it s not eatable.

The service is the worst and the workers are rude

The ambience of the place is good and they have an extensive menu. The setting is similar to what I have heard of the Dim Sum houses in Hong Kong. The only downside is that you need to google the dishes and check what you are ordering if you arent South-East/East Asian as the staff isnt able to help much because of the language barrier.

I came here with my friends on a night out, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We all had a good time.

Meat proportions are way too big and oily. All the meat dishes taste horribly and the oily texture does not help either. First dish and I already want to throw up. The non-meat dish are the only good options, which credit given where credit is due, is pretty solid and taste like authentic dim sum-SURPRISED!!! While most of the meat dishes are nothing like any traditional dim sum despite having similar name. The restaurant is unlikely to make changes to their disastrous meat dishes cause it has been this way for the past 20 years . Worst! I ordered dim sum from Uber but they did not put soy sauce with the order when I called the restaurant they said you have to order or put the note for it Why? If you say you forgot, I will not complain anything, but you refuse to accept your mistake!

My wife and I visited this place on June 15, 2024. Weve been here several times before, often after getting a massage at the spa next door. Their service used to be good, but it has become terrible lately. We ordered the unlimited food package and understood the restaurants rules about leftovers. After finishing the first set, we ordered the next set after dessert. We gave the list for our next order to the staff and waited patiently. After 10 minutes, then 20 minutes had passed, another staff approached us and asked, What else do you need? In my mind, I was thinking, Hey, were waiting for the next meal we ordered. My wife asked the staff, We ordered another meal, could you please check on it? Another 10 minutes passed, totaling to 30 minutes wasted, and we were still waiting for nothing. When the next staff came in front of us and asked, What else do you want, sir/maam? we decided to ask for the bill and felt a little disappointed. The food was good, but the service was horrible. It seems like they are cutting back on the food service just to ensure that the unlimited eat promotion lives up to its name.

Horrible service. Went with a couple of friends. We love Dim Sum but, the service is horrible in how some of your employees treat us. Bad attitude for some employees. They weren t happy when we ordered seconds in the AYCE set.

Every time I come here and try to order all you can eat this one young waiter acts like an enormous, condescending douchebag about it for some reason. Yes, I do in fact want the AYCE option. Thats why I checked it on the page. I dont need a lecture about how it works from you every time I try to sit down to eat. Foods great though, try the squid.

Unfortunately the food did not taste very good.

We supported this place all through COVID and watched their prices increase to the point now that we just cant afford to eat there anymore. Two years ago, our standard order was $35. Yesterday, we paid $62 for the same order. This is not supply chain issues or inflation, this is just greed. Update: Not even a year later and the same order is now $70. We mistakenly tried to give it another chance. $7.99 per dim sum order is ridiculous. We are done!

The price of AYCE has unfortunately become unaffordable but the a la carte option, quality and service are still decent.

Some Dim Sum!

Having been someone who comes here once every couple of months for the past few years. It would be safe to say it s my favourite dim sum place downtown. We always get a la cart and find five items enough for two people to full. The staff are friendly and fast. The food is good and potions are a bit bigger than other spots around this area. It s bright, clean and has ample seating, they have kept the space well over the years.. This is an odd thing to say but important because if you know you know. The staff provide the same service to everyone. They are very foreign friendly and will happily explain the menu items and make suggestions. If you are new to dim sum this is a great place to come. They don t rush you out either which is nice. Overall I love this place and maybe you will too! I posted a picture of one item, most items have 3 or 4, sometimes more!

Dim sum items itself was good which is actually a shame as the experience itself was not good. We got all you can eat and I asked beforehand how much it would cost if we had left over food, they said they would check and then never got back to us. We ordered around 8 dishes for all of us, only 3 showed up, after 45 mins of watching tables around us get items we ordered we asked if the rest was coming and they told us they lost the ticket/menu and to write down the missing items, we did and then waited another 30 mins for the items. at this point we had been there for an hour and 45 mins and had only received 3/8 items (theres a two hour limit), by the time the food did show up we had to ask how much it would be to take it home and they said it would be another $30 for the food, we explained it had been almost 2 hours since we ordered these items had we gotten them with the rest of the food we likely would have eaten it all, the server then took 3 items off the table (that just arrived) and said she would then only charge us $25 now if she can take them back from us. It didnt bother us to pay to take the food home as we understood the dynamics of all you can eat, however after losing the ticket and taking an hour between dishes it started to feel like some sort of a strategy to slow us down and then scam us into paying more after bringing all these dishes hours later stressing that we ordered it. Wont be coming back considering it seemed like she was going to take the 3 dishes back and then serve them to another table... made me question if our food was left overs from others tables.

I came here on Sunday, around 10 am Me, my father and my friend. We ordered a lot of food, from rice noodle rolls to porridges to sticky rice chicken ( to ice cream The food tasted wonderful, location was great as there are lots of parking spots around. There weren t a lot of people which was great Only downside was the music was a bit loud but once we started winning, the music didn t really affect us Great spot. Great place to eat

What an incredible rip off. I ordered 2 dishes - chicken fried rice and sweet and sour meat . There was no telling what that meat was. Chicken or pork? So grissly I could not chew it. The chicken fried rice was not fried. It was steamed and tasteless. I called the restaurant and the man said I would not get any refund. Not a dime. They told me I m out of luck . He said sometimes the chef is not good depending on the time you order. Honestly thought I was being punked. The 2 dishes were over $50 dollars including delivery. Even from the small bit I ate, I will not be surprised if I m throwing up within a couple of hours. I gave them over $50 and threw out my food and they couldn t care less. This is not my Toronto anymore. Gone are the days when people care about good food and good service.

Most of the time the service is mediocre at best. If they offer tea or water say no... they charge you for it. I have never been to an asian restaurant where they CHARGE FOR TEA/WATER. Majority of asian restaurants give this out for FREE. The food is usually 90% of the time great! Ive been coming here for years and it seems as if this place is getting worse with service but the dim sum makes up for it and this spot is convenient based off business hours/downtown area. There are better and authentic dim sum spots located in York region area.

This place is spectacular. Me and my family visited Toronto for a weeklong vacation and we wanted authentic Asian cuisine from Chinatown. Boy does this place deliver! Its everything we wanted! The food was filling and delicious, and the staff are super helpful. This is great food for a super great price.

Great food as usual. Those ha gow and sui mais are massive like you cannot one bite them. However prices have gone up due to inflation and it is no means a cheap meal. Server could have had a more friendly attitude. Also we ordered a tofu dessert. Didnt expect that to come out first out of all things. Found that kind of funny. They do have a ayce option if youre a big eater and its actually cheaper than ordering a la carte in some cases. Beware they will charge you for any leftover foods if you do this option.

Personal favoirite dim sum restaurant in Toronto. Traditional selections, fresh, beautifully prepared, and a good selection of vegetarian options.

The taste of the food wasn t bad, but it s very hard to get your money s worth for AYCE at 38.99 because the dim sum is really filling, almost too filling The pieces are very big. If you really want dim sum I think it s better to get Ala Carte. We weren t able to finish our food, we had two halves of dimsum leftover and we were charged $2 per person but were allowed to take it home. I liked the fried turnip cakes though. The desserts were not so good. They also served the fried food first and the steamed stuff took a bit of a wait. For the price, I would probably rather get AYCE sushi elsewhere next time.

I was attracted by Xiaohongshu s rhetoric and self-help, but I didn t know it was a very bad experience. When I walked into the store, most of them were foreigners, the lights were dim, and the waiter was an Indian guy, with a very reluctant service attitude. The food cannot be said to be unpalatable, and the level of frozen food is not too demanding. However, some dishes have no taste at all and are unpalatable. What s even worse is that the remaining dishes are not delicious and they are asked to charge extra. First, order in the store. We were not informed about the meal. We only ordered one round and the dishes were not large. The boss treated us with a disgusted and speechless attitude. It was impossible to give a tip, so he was very careful!

Who published Xiaohongshu and how much did Guangzi receive? Do you have to share half of the fines that the store unreasonably charges customers? If the service attitude could be rated lower, I would really give it a negative score. I finally know why the customers are all foreigners, because those who have eaten Chinese food cant eat it anymore; I know why the waiters are all Indians, because Chinese people cant work there. Go down. The boss was even more generous. I seriously doubt that they make money from fines. We only stayed for 40 minutes in total and only ordered one round. Because the taste was extremely unpleasant + it was not fresh. We tried our best to eat but only about 10% was left. When we were paying the bill, the boss and the waiter started counting our leftovers. They actually said we were wasting too much and were fined? ? ? We said there was not much left, so why should we be fined? And no one explained this rule to us in advance. Besides, why do you have so much left? Don t you have an X number in mind? Lets put it this way: We dont even eat the tofu skin, cabbage, vegetables, or pigs. We dont have the nerve to say that your food tastes bad. You still have the nerve to make fun of us and ask us for a fine? ? After we argued, you threw it at our credit card machine as if you owed you money? ? ? 50 per capita for all you can eat. It s really better to use this money to eat at Subway and McDonald s! ! !

wandering the streets of the metropolis of Toronto, among skyscrapers resembling a dense forest, only made of metal and glass. We turned into a narrow street that led us to Chinatown. The buildings and streets here are very bright and colorful compared to the typical areas of this city. Life is interesting here... Well, what is Chinatown without Chinese cuisine? I will not describe the menu of this restaurant, Google and the website already have everything. I will say one thing: DELICIOUS. I recommend visiting. Staff at a height! Prices are loyal and an order of magnitude lower when considered across Toronto.

the whole experience was so good til the man behind the front counter told us we need to be charged extra as we have leftover in the pic . And we were having a lot of question marks all of sudden. The waitress who were serving us were very nice tho so we still ended up giving decent tips but still confused why the man would say it s too much leftover

Food was fresh and hot, we went there at 10:30 pm on a Monday and the place was decently busy. If you want wanted anything, you ll have to flag down the server, which is in line with most Chinese restaurants. If you re doing AYCE, always order slowly and refer to the brochure for portion sizes, they charge you for uneaten portions.

Whenever I stay at my girlfriends place, there is not a week that goes by where we don t order from rosewood. The siu mai and har gow are absolutely amazing. The sticky rice is great as well. I can t imagine how good it would be in person but from a takeout perspective it s great, portions are large and very tasty. Leftovers are good to freeze and just steam them again, they taste just like you got them. Pork and shrimp dumplings are to die for. Best dim sum I ve had by far, thanks guys!

For an AYCE dim sum place, it was ok. Some of the tea cups and bowl were not the cleanest, with stuck on food and tea leaves but easily cleaned with hot water and a napkin. Always ask for hot water along with your hot tea when ordering at a Chinese restaurant. The service was friendly enough and prompt, but we did go at 9am. We opted for the al a carte because we werent going to eat more than 10 dishes between the two of us. The Har Gow looked like they were machine made, large but lacking in flavor. The soupy dumplings also looked like pre made frozen dumplings just reheated, tasted ok. The bean curd rolls looked good, but I didnt try, not my favorite. Now, the beef rice rolls were delicious. Its probably the best on that Dundas strip. I ate them so fast, I forgot to get a photo. For $38.99 for AYCE, I think its definitely worth a try. Al a carte, there are better in the area. A plus for them is they do open at 9am.

We come to eat dinner and we do All you can eat but the food were ALL RAW and service was extremely bad. The price we have to pay was like more than $100 but the service and the food were so so bad. We call them to talk about the raw food but without any apologies they immediately took it away so I haven t had a chance to take a picture. The manager knows about our problem but when I paid and asked why no one come and at least say something he said he doesn t know? And blame for server, kitchen? They requested for 10% discount, that s it. Not worth to try and never come back. Thanks!

Was over charged $5 on each individual bill and then demanded we tip extra on top of that amount for extremely poor service during slow hours.

First time but I like the quality of food and tastes

Staff here are so rude. The food is ok but this restaurant is kind of scam, they charged holidays price for 7 days and they said because of Chinese new year . Are you kidding me??? Also, they put 2 teapots on our table without saying anything, so we assumed they are included in all you can eat. They ended up charged us 1.5$ per person for that tea Honestly, this is the first time in my life attending such a scammer like this. 100% the last time for us.

The food is great! So many great options to pick from. Ideal for a group meal so you can try lots of different dishes. The day we were in was busy and loud. The only concern is that the staff are so busy it was hard to get their attention when required.

My favourite chinatown staple! We always order white fish congee, youtia, har gao, siu mai, xiaolongbao, egg yolk custard bun. This time we tried out the fried turnip cake fried up in cubes with peppers on top. Will definitely be adding that to our regular order! Service is always so fast and pleasant as well

One of our go to places for dim sum. No carts here, your order from a menu. Food comes nice and hot and usually very quickly. Food quality is pretty good, they do also have big dishes like Cantonese noodles and fried rice. You do also get a discount if you pay cash.

Food here is tasty and quality is much better than most other nearby Dim Sum joints. They have a variety of desserts, savory dim sum, as well as an AYCE offering. I remember eating a fried noodle here years ago that brought me to heaven. The mango pudding, squid tentacles, and shrimp dumpling/har gao are standouts.

One of my favorite low cost dim sum places in Toronto. The taste is amazing. Atmosphere isn t the greatest (washrooms not clean) but if you go for the food only it won t disappoint. It is very busy during weekends so expect line ups. They have vegetarian options which is a plus.

Got the AYCE dim sum here for 2. Food was mediocre. After a little more than half our orders on our checklist came out it stopped. About 20 minutes later we flagged down staff and asked when the other items were coming out. The owner said everything came out already. When she brought over our order sheet many items still remained undelivered. She then changed her story apologizing profusely saying they did not deliver all of our items because they wanted to make sure we weren t full. We decided to just get the bill. It would have been better business practice to have charged us for the dishes we ordered instead of an AYCE when the establishment erred.

Came here with some friends for dinner, was a Tuesday night around 7:00pm. Did the AYCE, for the amount of food we got it was worth it, if I had gone with a smaller group, I think the a la cart, wouldve been enough. Good Dim Sum & Chinese food probably ordered around 35+ dishes, some things didnt come, so we had to re order after, but overall was good Dim Sum. Lots of variety compared to other restaurants in China Town! Notable was the Har Gow, Sui Mai, Short Ribs, Fried Shrimp Roll, Custard Tart, BBQ Pork Bun, Curry Cuttlefish.

The waiter was overcharging me. I hate asking customers for tips. Feeling like a beggar so disgusting

The food is wonderful, I m always interested every time I go to find (and maybe order) new things on the menu. Dim sum classics are great too. Service is extremely fast and the staff always feels like family because they remember faces.

I don t deny that dimsum is very good, with decent size. I don t like some of them like fried fish, but overall, it s pretty tasty. However, THE SERVICE was extremely TERRIBLE. Three of us came there for all you can eat on Saturday morning. There were a so-called manager- Joy and another young male server at that time. She always had a frown face towards us since we stepped in the restaurant. It was All you can eat, we could order whatever you want in the menu, right? She was so mad at us because we ordered too many dishes. Threw an angry face at us, spoke something in Chinese which we didn t understand right when she turned her back at our table, then sent the young male to speak to us. - no manners. She was a manager, if she saw we ordered too much, why she didn t tell us to break it smaller instead of throwing attitude towards us. She took the menu away without saying anything, STILL ANGRY face - no customer service. When she came to empty the trays, she opened every single tray to check if we threw leftovers in there. She sent the waiter to speak to us you guys can t leave the food there, even a little, you have to eat them all . - in appropriate manner. Tell me if ever you go to all you can eat sushi and never leave a little food on your plate. Joy never gave us a pleasant experience the entire time we were there. Felt like being discriminated because she was talking and smiling to other Chinese customers. I spoke to her at the end, we came here to pay for food and service, we didn t beg you for food. Your behaviours were unacceptable. Straight! I won t tolerate that Karen s service when I pay for it. JOY!!! IT WAS SUPER TERRIBLE SERVICE YOU PUT US THROUGH.

Use to be our monthly ritual to go here. Now the service is ok. But the lady at the till adds the tips for you. Be careful. Check your bill first

We decided to grab our late lunch at this Rosewood Asian Cuisine (All You Can Eat Dim Sum ) in Toronto s Chinatown since we had a few hours before our flight. This place has a 2 hour time limit so we can slowly enjoy all the food. Please bear in mind that the food comes in big portions, best to order bit by bit so you don t over order or waste food, as they will charge for any leftovers. What you see on the menu is exactly what you will get (portion/quantity). We ordered all our favourites Shrimp Dumplings Har Gow Pork & Shrimp Dumpling Siu Mai Ginger & Scallion Beef Tripe Shanghai Soup Dumplings Steamed Dried Shrimp Rice Roll Baby Cuttlefish with Curry Five Spice Squid Tentacles Salmon Congee Deep Fried Taro & Pork Dumpling Chinese Broccoli Salt & Pepper Shrimp Spicy Chicken Wings Creamy Egg Yolk Bun Plain Sweet Silken Tofu Dessert Green Tea/ Vanilla Ice Cream As for our drinks Hot Green Tea , we paid separately as it was not included in the AYCE. If you don t like AYCE, you can always order ala carte. Waitresses were friendly and the place is clean with a quiet atmosphere (for a weekday lunch). Overall, the food tasted authentic and delicious. Best of all, this restaurant opens till 3am for anyone wanting to grab a quick snack in the middle of the night! It will be our go-to-AYCE dimsum place on our next trip to Toronto s Chinatown! Cheers!!

A great dim sum place, the Beef Siu Mai was exceptional. A nice venue with a good view and the cost is reasonable. (Recommending a la cart)

Im uncertain about the expectations people have when dining at a dim sum restaurant in China Town. In my view, Rosewood deserves a higher rating than 3.9. The service and food quality are what youd typically find at any dim sum place. Despite the high customer volume, the restaurant manages to maintain a decent level of cleanliness. Ive walked by this area numerous times, but this was my first encounter with this establishment. If youre craving dim sum, its worth a shot. The all-you-can-eat option costs around $40.

My go-to late night spot for good quality dim sum whenever I m in town.

Not the best dim sum, but it always hits the spot. Opened late and this is my go to late night spot after a night of drinking. This place unfortunately is not cheap. They have the typical dim sum spread and even have rice rolls available late at night. My typical go to dishes are the turnip cakes and pork ribs on rice. Would recommend to those looking to get their dim sum fix after a night out.

Do not go here. They overuse the baking soda. Save yourself the GI Problems. Turnip cake had no turnip. Shumai was alright. So were the deep fried honey garlic shortribs. But thats about all it.

A great place for dim sum. Steam or fried, all the selections taste superb. Must rats are the Chicken feet, Siu Mai and Hao Kao

YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE SPICY CHICKEN WINGS!!! You drunk at 2am and you want dimsum. This is the place to be. The dimsum is pretty decent for chinatown, especially at 2am. You better call ahead at 2am if you want food, because they close at 3am. Other Chinese restaurants are a bit more expensive with lesser quality, so Rosewood is my go to spot.

Best late night dim sim until 3 am

Bad experience with their all you can eat, services and charges were not told up-front. We were charged for an amount randomly decided by their server for food left on the table at the end. Also told us snow pea was out when it wasn t crossed off on the menu, other food were served in very large portions when it comes to carbs.

The dim sum here is always fresh and excellent. Unfortunately I havent taken pics.

My favorite Siu Mai in the city

Invariably, our journeys to downtown Toronto mysteriously steer us to the doors of the Rosewood. On this occasion, our purpose was a belated breakfast featuring congee and an array of traditional dim-sum plates. Lets establish one thing: our loyalty lies in the cuisine, not the ambiance. Fortunately, in that department, our expectations were more than met. The culinary offerings were nothing short of outstanding, complemented by impeccable service. Regrettably, the sheen of the place seems to be dimming, with a slightly worn-down appearance that doesnt go unnoticed. Adding a discordant note to the experience was the lingering scent of cigarette smoke, which, I must admit, was a touch off-putting.

Rosewood Dim Sum, is perhaps my favourite dim sum place in the city especially with some other places such as Grass Mountain Villa closing. They are the quintessential dim sum place, with the classics, sui mai, har gow, ham sui gok (my favourite). Prices are fair, hours are late until 3 AM, they also do have other asian foods and the gentleman server there is very polite and attentive. I highly recommend.

We found quality, quantity and freshness were all excellent. Came with visitors from overseas who had recently been in USA, Western Canada and then Toronto. They were very impressed and extremely satisfied and quite frankly very surprised. Back overseas in Asia and Australia, portions are much smaller and more expensive. They felt that we in Toronto are very fortunate indeed to have such a place amongst many Chinese DimSum and regular chinese restaurants in this part of old Chinatown. Vegetarian options: plenty of vegetarian options for Dimsum and regular dishes. We have brought work colleagues and visitors who do not consume meat. They enjoyed food and services and $ value Parking: nearby about 5 mins walk. Along street and in side streets. Very easy to get to using public transit - TTC and subway stations and streetcars are all within easy walking distance

Came with 20 people food was good service was aii but the bill was funky with extra chargers to the tune of 400 extra make sure your clear or pay first lol Parking: Parking under ground about 20 feet away
