We are a made from scratch kitchen with great food and friendly service. We’ve been at our Mount Pleasant location since May 2012. We hope to see you all soon 🤗
The food is great, service is great! And it has the feels of a vintage diner somehow, in a good way. Worth trying it.
I had lunch here yesterday and it was FANTASTIC! The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Had the nicoise salad, hipster salad, and fries (which I’m convinced are the best in the city). Our server was incredibly sweet, friendly, and attentive. Just an overall amazing experience, and will definitely return to try the breakfast and other menu items.
Rarely had a server as genuinely cheerful as Carlos. Awesome guy and amazing food. Come here with an empty stomach and leave happy and full.
Came here for brunch, where the service was friendly and the food delicious. Served portions are large, which is good value for money. Just be prepared for a short wait, as this restaurant gets busy on the weekends.
Club sandwich was so delicious: amazing portion, thick tomato slices and perfectly placed chicken and bacon. Not tossed around like most places lol Mimosa carafe ratio is A+ 🥂 Service was lovely 🥰
Absolutely amazing place, from the staff to the wonderful ambient music. But let's also take very special note to whomever is in the kitchen, everything I eat here is amazing! Some of the best home fries ever.
Came here for lunch and had the burger and club sandwich. Both were great and very well-priced. The fries were especially delicious! The service was great - our server was so nice and knowledgeable - and the atmosphere was lively. Would definitely recommend Hazel’s if you’re in the Davisville area!
The Mount Pleasant location also has an outdoor patio, hidden by beautiful foliage and a wide sidewalk so that there's more privacy. You can certainly find the staple breakfast fare of bacon and eggs at Hazel’s, although I think their signature creations are so much better and love that their menu offers so many meat-free options. Bonnie’s hash ($17), named after the owner’s wife who is a vegetarian, is a hearty combination of well toasted potatoes mixed with corn, onion, pepper, spinach, garlic, and jalapeno, topped with two eggs done to your liking (my over medium was done perfectly). It’s a satisfying breakfast that’s also refreshing and delicious. I only wish the rye bread was less crispy – it’s more akin to melba toast – and is great for dipping into eggs but not solo with jam. Sourced from a local bakery, the owner explains the lack of preservatives does mean it can crisp up quickly, so perhaps order it untoasted if you like your bread soft. On the other hand, if you’re craving decadence, the eggs Natasha ($19) places poached eggs on smoked salmon and pancakes topped with hollandaise, sour cream, and black caviar. It’s a savoury, sweet, and smoky concoction, certainly a dish to wake up the taste buds and makes me wonder if it’s too early to have a shot of vodka. For those who like it sweet, the French toast is made from challah so that it’s extra custardy tasting with a faint cinnamon finish. I particularly love that Hazel’s uses maple syrup instead of the overly thick and plasticky tasting table syrup. When you’re creating such wonderful dishes, go maple! After such a filling brunch, I didn’t think we could get through the loaded waffle ($16), but as I took a bite of the fluffy creation with a sweet berry, I wanted another bite and another… needless to say, it did not go to waste. And despite what looks like an insane amount of whipped cream, it was as light as air and seemed to vanish on the tongue.
Great local diner!
Its breakfast. Its adequate. Its friendly. Its got chairs, tables and a washroom. Thats about it.
3.5 stars. Good food selection. Service was fast and friendly. Vibes of a local institution.
Amanda is the greatest !!
Clean, comfy, tasty
Great good. Fun diner experience. Good location.
Fantastic friendly and local. What more do you need?
Always reliable. TPA benny.
I ve come here many times over the years and always had a nice experience. But today Carlos had such a positive attitude and was absolutely lovely!! Brought some sunshine to our day Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and plenty of egg dishes and fruit dishes
Great place for getting breakfast. The food was good and the service too. We had the GTA and TPA Benny. Tasty!
Excellent food and service! It s just what you wanted for breakfast kind of place!
Great menu, excellent food, terrific service. You can always count on this place. Easy parking. Carlos, the waiter, is excellent. Tony, owner, is wonderful.
For a dinner it had very slow service and very high prices.
Great food, great service, definitely recommended
I loved it. Try the Trucker s Special.
An amazing server, great food.
Great hidden gem in Toronto. A Must try for brunch.
Friendly, fast service. Love this restraunt.
What a great spot! It was a lucky find. Came back from the Sportimg Life 10km and searched for a great breakfast place. This was absolutely yummy. Great service, food presentation, and freshness! Thank you - we will be back!
The waitstaff are excellent. Very attentive! Vegetarian options: The hollandaise sauce is wonderful and there are vegetarian options available. Food : 5/5 |
Have always loved this place! But I am sad to see you removed your booths. The tables are very close now and you are sitting too close to other people. Great restaurant if you don t mind that aspect. The food is amazing!!
A staple of the neighbourhood. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, but its just a place for fresh, delicious, hearty breakfast dishes in an unassuming space.
Fantastic brunch today, has an amazing neighbourhood feel; for the very friendly staff who all make you feel like a friend. The classic brunch menu with just enough flair to keep it interest but not feel like they are being gimmicky. Fair prices for the area and good drip coffee.
Great food and service. Good coffee but very strong! Parking: Street parking Food : 5/5 |
The food was delicious and the service was good. Enjoyed my meal and also service dogs are allowed here
My family and I have gone to Hazel s for brunch and absolutely love it. The food is always so outstanding, the service is just incredible and you leave feeling happy, full and like you are part of the family.
Good, old-fashioned, diner with a great feel. Plenty of good food.
Lovely little eatery with a minimalistic selection of menu items, warm atmosphere and the kindest service and then some. Great way to start your morning or end your day!
Food was delicious and had good portions. Exactly as expected and then some. They even had oat milk for my coffee!
Not from the area but wanted a nice quiet place for breakfast with my dad. Was great, good food and service!
Awesome spot! Good Ol fashioned diner with excellent friendly customer service, terrific food and cozy atmosphere.
A great diner place that s hidden. Their breakfast special is to die for
Went with a friend for breakfast a week ago and we were seated immediately. The food was plentiful and very good. The coffee was somewhat weak (and thats from someone who doesnt like strong coffee) but moreso it was lukewarm and once I added my milk it was almost cold. The people at the table next to us had kids who made a mess on the floor. When they left, the table was cleaned but the mess on the floor wasnt. The people who came to sit there had to walk around the mess. Not only did it not look good but if someone who have stepped on it and fell, the owners who have a lawsuit against them and that would be a shame. Hopefully they change this going forward as the food is really good and I like supporting local businesses.
Quick bite with a good friend, breakfast is her favorite meal. We both had the trucker breakfast, the sausages were dry as were the pancakes, the home fries werent very good either everything else was fine. I have eaten at Hazels and this food experience was not typical so I will go back and would recommend you try it and hopefully your experience will be better. Service was good.
Super good food, friendly staff and affordable... The pancakes were sooo soft ,so yummy and the club sandwich with fries sooooo tasty and very filling
Great service food will definitely be back.
Delicious hot food, large quantity. Very friendly service and pleasant cheerful space. We would recommend and dine again. Parking: Side street parking early in the day. With snow was tricky and a bit of a walk. Wheelchair accessibility: Slight ramp but uneven. Would not be easy at the door to navigate entry. Lots of space inside . The washroom might be downstairs, not used. We were celebrating 6 weeks post op knee surgery, hence these comments.
Excellent service, delicious food and a classic/comfortable environment.
Such a cute place to stop and eat, our server Amanda was so lovely and provided incredible service!
Cozy location, great food, amazing service! The Canadian omelet is
Creative spin on diner dishes
Really bad food. Dont be fooled by rating.
Average diner with an earlybird special and mimosas on the menu. The staff is what really makes this place special and keeps me going back, they are very friendly and accommodating.
wonderful waffles. i genuinely dont know what happened to the people who left bad reviews, its always been good when we go there. Food
Delicious food, friendly staff, lots of options on the menu. Perfect for a weekend brunch.
Everyone love Hazels. Salads, burgers, breakfast and sandwiches. Home of the healthy Ruben Booths and tables, great service.
I went here for lunch today. Food was wonderful, price was great, and the service was outstanding! The waitress was so friendly and had an amazing attitude. We need more people like her in this world. You can tell she loves working there, loves the food she serves, and loves dealing with people. If I am back in the area, I will certainly stop in once again.
Been here many times but thought I d finally write a review. The egg white omelette has to be the best in the city. How they get it so fluffy and tasty every time is beyond me!
In Toronto for the long weekend, we wanted to go to another spot but the line was too long and ended up checking out Hazels Diner instead. It didnt disappoint! Service and food was amazing and everything came out quick. No complaints, highly recommend!
A great place for brunch. Its always busy so you know its got to be good and it is. They have a patio for the summer
Great patio and delicious food. Lovely service as well.
Fantastic server, excellent food, great atmosphere. Loved it! Food : 5/5
Flies
Great breakfast place !
Great food and amazing staff. I had the Eggs Natasha and my friend had the All day breakfast. We both loved it. Definitely coming back!
Excellent breakfast place. Great food and service. Very friendly staff and superb quality of food. Highly recommend
Sooooooooooo nice to find a small-town diner in the CITY!!!! A neighbourhood favourite as indicated by its full capacity and busy atmosphere with lots of chatter. (If you want a quiet place....this is not it....). Added to that is the terrific friendly service and tasty food and you have a winning breakfast spot. Started of with a MIMOSA (kinda small but acceptable) for $8 and followed by bottomless and delicious coffee throughout the meal. The LOADED WAFFLE ($16) was soft and flavourful and topped with a GENEROUS portion of fresh whipped cream covering blueberries, strawberries and sliced bananas. The REUBEN SANDWICH ($18) was served with wonderful marbled rye and juicy meat and cheese. The side was a very (surprisingly) CAESAR SALAD. A great combination. Not even a hint of being rushed ...this is a terrific spot for an all-day breakfast ....or other menu favourites ....until 4 p.m. that is. Parking: Mount Pleasant and the residential side streets are very busy and very full....especially on the weekends. Once you see a parking spot ANYWHERE in the area...TAKE IT!!!!

Used to live in this area of town and wanted a taste of the Davisville Village - my fiance and I came for breakfast and the food was great, pancakes are usually not my thing but the owner convinced me to keep them included with the rest of my food, and Ill never doubt him again, they were that good! Thanks for the food and hospitality, highly recommend for breakfast!
Lovely lunch/brunch.
Always a good stop for breakfast, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff is great here and always super friendly. Even on when busy on weekends the wait is never very long or any wait at all.
Really great breakfast! One of the friendliest waitresses Ive ever met. Great place Food : 5/5
Weve been hunting down breakfast places for over 30 years. We are very fussy about breakfasts. So heres the top 5 things I loved about this place. 1. Real potatoes - they cook real potatoes, none of that prepackaged garbage most restaurants use. So their potatoes have a wonderful taste and texture 2. Bacon - they use quality bacon, none of that paper thin cheap stuff. So you can taste the crunch of the bacon. Perfect. 3. They have marble rye - and they double toast it. 4. I asked for medium poached and they were done to perfection. 5. I also liked the finer touches. Jam and peanut butter on a side plate, cream in a tiny serving saucer, and a water pitcher on the table. Service was great. Decor is breakfast dinner - spacious. Coffee was very good! Refills no problem. Oh, and they have beans! Hardly No one serves decent beans in Ontario anymore...I found one other breakfast joint in Niagara Falls...so, this was a bonus. Breakfast was about $30 for 2 people. Street parking was relatively easy. Washrooms are downstairs...can be tricky for folks with mobility issues. However the washrooms were clean and tidy.
Great food great service
Omlettes were sub par.. Burnt when requested not to be burned.. Fifty dollars is just too expensive four two people just having Brunch.. Vegetarian options: Should be cooked separately..
Vegetarian options: Limited Dietary restrictions: Please check with the servers Kid-friendliness: Absolutely Good
Amanda was great . Food was good as well as atmosphere. Glad I came in. Will be back when in area. James M from Guelph
Its a nice cozy place for brunch - we enjoyed the food and the staff was amazing!
Good location and food is very yummy. Took one star out because while ordering the server was very impatient and had an attitude..
My wife and I love stoping in during our weekend walks to Hazels for breakfast. The pancakes and eggs Benedict are done perfectly each time. The pancakes are fluffy just like when you were a kid, and they actually do the eggs Benedict exactly as you want them. How can you not be happy with that. Amanda s is a great server and we love her sense of humour. Such a happy person. We come back almost every week and its helped us through the last couple of years. Recommend the booths. They are so comfortable. We look forward each visit!
Best pancakes in Toronto, excellent breakfast every single time
Love this local breakfast spot. Good amount of food and a versatile menu. Everything tastes amazing. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and a delight to enjoy. The prices are reasonably priced. The staff is friendly, service is quick. The big booths are a treat too.
Maybe we came on a bad day, but then again youd think a diner is going to be at their best on a Saturday morning. the service was very bad and the food was even worse. Very slow nonchalant service to start things out. I thought to myself well hopefully the food makes the wait worth our while but no... You could tell that the home fries had been made the day prior and just reheated. They looked crispy but were just like putting mushy oatmeal in our mouth. You can tell the level of effort being put in isnt where it needs to be. It wasnt cheap either, $20 for a small plate of breakfast food and a tiny mug of stale coffee. All of which I could have prepared MUCH better myself in the comfort of my own home.
Ive been to this diner twice. First time, I had food poisoning. Second time, I was served coffee with curdled milk. If the milk is expired, it makes you wonder what else is... Prices would be reasonable if the food was actually half decent. The only plus was that our server was polite and professional. All in all the food was a complete disappointment. Hope things can improve...
A great patio, and quick service!
Chill, down-to-earth Diner with good service and yummy, unpretentious food. Onion rings and fries were crispy and not oily. Burger was simple but good. And so was the Niçoise Salad.
Simple food served in a cozy atmosphere! What more could you want from a diner?
fabulous experience at Hazels yesterday sat outside on Mount Pleasant and enjoyed the other patrons food was fresh tasty and delicious great spot with lots of choices the servers were delightful
It took about 45 minutes to get our food. When it finally arrived it was OK(but definitely not worth a 45 minute wait for breakfast). Owner/manager kept yelling at staff. No apologies or communication about the delay until it was time to pay (and tip). Wouldnt come back here.
Friendly service and a tasty breakfast menu makes this our go to neighbourhood brunch spot. Staff are quick with refills of water and coffee, and happy to discuss the various menu options. The atmosphere is very much small, local diner and the menu contains basic breakfast classics, as well as some more esoteric fare. On this visit I had a version of Eggs Benedict that came on a bed of arugula, tomatoes and crispy rosti potatoes instead of English muffins. Of note, they have a lovely big street patio, but they are not open past mid-afternoon. Also, Im happy to say they have now updated their payment options to include credit cards. Enjoy!
The home fries are so much better than they look. Pancakes were on point too. My partner had the classic breakfast, I didnt taste it but it sure looked good!
Great food if a little pricey for breakfast (but then again most places are now) The server was a little unhelpful despite not being wicked busy, but we allhave tough days :)
Amazing food and excellent service. Give the lady with the glasses who serves on the weekends a raise!
Worst milkshake ever. The chocolate milkshake tasted like milk and chocolate syrup (the cheap kind). It was just sweet with no richness to it. Did not have any ice cream or creamy consistency to it. Very watery. That was terrible. Bread was stale and super dry, tasted like old bread that was sitting out. Sausage was so dry and over cooked. Home fries were not cooked properly. Overall not satisfied and will not return.
Loved brunch here! Always happy to find great food at a dog friendly space!
Everything is so good! Nice variety!! Owner is super friendly! :)
My option number 1 for Sundays brunch!
Great place to grab a tasty breakfast in this neighborhood. They also have early breakfast deals on their menu.
Had the all day breakfast. Sunny side up eggs of which one was served to me broken, potatoes burnt, rye toast was so incredibly hard I could not even break it to dip in my eggs. Coffee was cold. The only thing on the plate that was good were the sausages. $25 by the time I gave a tip so not cheap for the most basic breakfast. One of the worst breakfasts I have ever been served in a restaurant. Such a disappointment. It was mid day this past Saturday at the Mount Pleasant location.
service / food is good. $3 for chocolate chips in pancakes?!?!?!
Great food. Wonderful staff. Enjoyed the experience.
Delightful
Good food. Great service. Recommended dishes
A surprisingly diverse and interesting menu for a diner. Always a great meal here.
Went to Hazels for the first time on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The eggs Natasha was delicious. Its one of the best bennies Ive ever had. The service was prompt and friendly! I will definitely be back.
Hazels definitely does what it says on the tin and more! If youre looking for a classic breakfast, theres nowhere better to go. Ive been to this location and the one on Yonge a few times, and it has never disappointed! During my most recent visit, I was served by the owner (I think), who was very kind and attentive. The rest of the staff follow his lead and make you feel very welcome. Im not adventurous enough to explore beyond the breakfast menu, but my fellow diners were very impressed with what they ordered!
Good food and good service.
We popped in here while wandering around the shops ( we are from UK visiting Family) when we went in we were greeted by fabulous staff, we chose a booth and looked at the comprehensive menu really not sure what to choose because everything sounded delicious. We chose cake which was bacon, cheese and egg in a pancake oh my goodness it was absolutely amazing the only thing to surpass the food was the coffee that was the best I have ever tasted. Thoroughly recommend this lovely place. Thank you
Great food, speedy service
Tried the Hazels Hash with chorizo. Very Tasty. Good Service.
Delicious food and fantastic service. Only thing Im unhappy about is that I havent been going sooner.
One of my favourite places to go to for breakfast in my neighbourhood.
Amazing waitress and old diner feel, really make this place. So incredibly accommodating to us and our small child Kid-friendliness: We brought our baby with us and the waitress was incredibly kind and attentive to his needs. High chair right away, the works!
Server was excellent, they were able to seat myself and my 3 kids quickly at noon on a Sunday. Food is fine, but very overpriced in my opinion. I paid $15 for my son to have French toast, it was 3 pieces of bread dipped in egg, fried and put on the plate with syrup. My other son ordered a waffle, again, nothing on the side save for syrup. I understand costs have increased, I just dont think there was enough value. I hope they do well as they seem to be doing their best, but I wont be going there again.
Best brunch spot in the neighborhood! Love it! We go every weekend! Amazing food and even more amazing staff!
Great service, food was decent
Service is always excellent. The food is always very good as well, can t go wrong.
Great food. We are coming back!
Wife and I came here with our 15 month old. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was unreal. Get the Mexican Benny and you will have no regrets. This is all that was left after the meal.
Decided to try Hazels Diner last weekend for brunch. Great little spot. Everything you expect out of a small diner. Our server was friendly, stayed on top of all our coffee refills, communicated what the meals would be like and kept us updated on how soon our food would be/take even though we werent waiting long at all. Atmosphere is a typical diner and I could tell there were a lot of repeat customers based on the interactions with customers and servers. Thats always a good sign. The price for the food was realistic. Food was good. Saw other tables with other meals which made my mouth water. I will be returning again to try out new items! I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new brunch spot to try!
What a pleasant surprise to find a healthy, tasty, abundant breakfast, at a reasonable price and with excellent service at the Mt. Pleasant location and served by the cordiality and warmth of @JoanGrace! The place is clean, rich atmosphere, many plants and good parasols for a rainy morning!
Great place for breakfast!
Wonderful food and service!!
Left before being seated. The servers were rude right off the hop. I feel for all severs working through this time, but this was not ok. Hope she had a better day after we left.
Classic diner. Have the Reuben or the Club...and the Burger. Friendly , excellent service.
Amazing patio, food and the service was incredible. Had the GTA Eggs Benny it was incredible. Great spot
Always a warm atmosphere! We frequent the Mt Pleasant location and there are so many good breakfast foods. Love it any day of the week. Their outdoor dining has been a great experience during covid. I recommend The Caker and some mimosas!
pros: Excellent location, very friendly hosts, eggs were the best cons: Bacons were not cooked/shaped well enough, sausages could have been better (quite bland/I prefer my unhealthy processed meat to taste amazing)
Pretty good place to go with the family for some breakfast.
Super cute neighbourhood diner. Food is always good and the service very friendly. We had the truckers special and the caker. Both were delicious. Our server Laaren was very attentive and helpful. Been coming here for years with friends and family and have always loved it.
had a really good date here!! very cute spot
Food is near average at best. Coffee is below average. Servers are friendly but if you complain about your meal, they do nothing about it except smile at you. Atmosphere is fine for a breakfast place.
Needed a post run meal and had received recommendations for this diner in the area. Overall it was a solid meal! The service was great and fast Ordered the Salmon Rosti, Canadian Omelette and a side of onion rings (because why not!). Thoroughly enjoyed the rosti: tasted fresh, light and good balance in textures. Omelette was a huge portion, well stuffed with cheese, bacon and onions. Onion rings were perfect and came much more than I expected as a side If I was in the area I would go back again. Not a must eat meal but left happy with the meal!
It s good spot for Canadian breakfast. They are really good people and there customer service are really great
Needs a good cleaning. Server had an attitude, even though we were the only two customers in the place... I guess thats why.
The food is always very tasty, and the service is very friendly and welcoming
Great place
Went on a Sunday morning wait was long (20 mins) but the service was super fast and friendly. The food was a 4 out of 10.
Never disappoints! Fantastic breakfasts!
Great smoke meat
Attentive service and food came out fast. Had one server during a brunch rush which is understandable on a Monday. However the food and coffee was not the best. My hollandaise sauce was cold and a little bit sour. Coffee was bitter. Their home fries or potatoes were a little undercooked and not well seasoned at all. Kinda disappointed.
Hazels hash was good, lots of flavor and plenty of spice. Service was decent. Did have to ask for more cutlery and for toast and oj for one of my party members but thats minor.
Ive gone here for breakfast quite a few times. The food is great, the portions are a good size and the staff are always friendly.
First note: Cash or Debit Only. Next: Went here for brunch so ordered off the all day breakfast menu. Fresh-squeezed orange juice was great. Coffee was sub-par. Able to prepare eggs as ordered (ordered over medium and cooked correctly). Only sat in front section of restaurant but it was a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great waffles. Overall: This is a great diner and I will definitely be going back. *Update: 2 years after the original review, still agree except coffee is better this time around. Sat in back section as well, which is very homey & lovely too. Continue to be very happy with this place.
Good food at a great price... pleasant staff and nice atmosphere...
Excellent service.
Great food and friendly staff!
Service and food quality for Breakfast was amazing
Mex benny delish server awesome will return
Amazing breakfast/ brunch spot! Great vibe and great food! Authentic greasy spoon!!
Old school diner decor and great brunch eats!
My go-to Sunday breakfast spot. Food is simple yet delicious, the staff is super sweet and always remembers my order. Theyre very accommodating if you want to modify the menu items. Definitely family friendly but not wheelchair accessible
I had brunch here with my partner one Saturday afternoon - it was absolutely delicious!! I got the loaded waffle, which came with obviously fresh berries and banana, topped with whipped cream and I was given a cute little maple syrup vessel on the side. I was quite pleased to find that it didnt have fruit compote syrup on it because I find that too sweet - it seems like they serve really high quality food here. It is clean and has a very cute diner atmosphere with comfy booths in the back and wood paneling on one of the walls. My boyfriend really liked the hot sauce.
Great food at decent prices.
Very friendly staffs! Pan cake is delicious. Food is very oily, pls. improve it. We also enjoyed the calm ambiance . We are lucky that big groups of students just finished . Because it is very noisy whenever students stay.
Waitress was super busy with a lunch rush of teenagers from the schools near but but she managed to keep it all together with such grace good job. Also the food was good as usual.
Quality food, great service
The service was amazing and the atmosphere was great with 80s music, I dont know if they have it all the time but it was good. The food quality is amazing and the menu has great healthy options. With modern and homestyle cooking as a base for their fusión breakfast experience. And of course with freshly squeezed OJ. Definitely five stars... Price point perfect as well
Great pancakes and amazing pricing on the breakfast recomend this place for sure.
Would give an extra star if possible. Amazing brunch and stellar service.
Food is good, service is quick, but the front step is steep and the washroom is down flight of stairs. Not accessible for people who use mobility devices.
Great food and service
No complaints. Had standard bfast. Food and service very good. Would cone back if in area.
Great breakfast
Hazels Diner is a really good quality breakfast diner. Thats the best way I can put it. The atmosphere is what you would expect, or at least what I expected on a Sunday afternoon. We didnt have to wait long for a table, maybe 5 minutes, however that doesnt speak to how busy it was or its popularity. The staff seem to be very well practiced at high turnover. Usually, when I have the wherewithal to go out for a brunch, I stick to a classic breakfast of a couple of eggs, toast, bacon, etc. For the longest time I was on the hunt for the perfect eggs benedict but after finding a few good ones, I got very tired of all the terrible ones and switched, however reluctantly, to a classic breakfast. That said, the first time I cane to Hazels something on the menu jumped off the page and practically slapped me in the face with eggs. Hazels has what they call a Mexican Eggs Benedict. Chorizo sausage, habanero hollandaise, and really perfectly cooked home-fries that were seasoned simply. The heat was perfect, the eggs were on point and the flavors were incredible. My wife had an egg-white omelette with goat cheese and though not my thing, visually striking and my wife loved it. I would go back for the Mexican Benny this afternoon, if it wasnt frowned upon for me to leave my place of work unannounced for the purpose of eating great food. Sadly, this is not the case! Definitely recommend Hazels
Mexican benny yum.
Amazing breakfast entrees you cant find anywhere else. Reasonably priced and huge portions with quality ingredients. Say goodbye to the beige, boring breakfast and try their zippy offerings.
Quick lunch, good portion and affordable! Regular diner. Nothing fancy. I had the grilled cheese with fries. It was ok. Didnt really dig the fries. Too thin and the pepper didnt do a lot of for the fries.
Great breakfast spot with fine food and fast, friendly service.
Amazing brunch. Fast and polite service!
Friendly staff, great value.
Love Hazels. Good food served quickly with great service.
Great place in the city for breakfast. Had the waffles and they were terrific! Staff is polite and very attentive.
Super friendly service and good food. Cheap and cheerful!
