Food is average. Attitude is very entitled and not welcoming. The place was empty, staff didnt seem overworked Edit: went there another time just incase I missed something. Ordered different things. Horrible food, dont understand the hype.

Great breakfast spot, make sure to get on the waitlist as soon as it opens, the wait can be a while. The breakfast sandwich is delicious. It comes with a refreshing salad and their signature potato salad. The bacon is crispy, the egg is runny, it s a perfect breakfast. Grab some of their doughnuts to go afterwards for a nice treat!

Club sandy all the way. It s great that it comes with half salad and half sweet potato salad. Just great all around. Did I mention it s pretty great?

Came a long way with my family to visit this diner. Food was fantastic and recommendations were on point for someone travelling from outside the country. Unfortunately the waitress rudely declined a quick request (takes 5 seconds at most) to take a photo for a memory keepsake for me and my happy family enjoying the meal saying no I m really busy at the moment when all I saw was her changing some cutlery to flip tables which was fine.. however she never came back to offer to give us a photo memory and next thing we saw was her helping another table snap a photo! Quite disappointing..

I tried meatloaf and grits here for the first time and I ve never gotten them elsewhere because I know my standards would be too high. Salads, donuts, pancakes, everything on the menu is great, really. Nice wine selection too.

Nice, very tiny diner. Food selection was a bit limited but very good and the staff were friendly. Note that they only have drip coffee, but very good coffee.

Get yourself added to the waitlist as soon as it opens as it gets really long really quick. We signed up at 925 or so and we were like 48th in line. It was worth the wait though. The pancakes are unreal. The standard breakfast was so well seasoned and so good. We grabbed a donut to go and my husband loved it. Service was amazing

Finally tried White lily diner!! Very cute small restaurant. The Best hot turkey I have ever tried! The OG patty sandwich is my favorite, the patty is juicy and perfectly done. I definitely will come back for this again!

Great atmosphere with speedy service. Its a nice change from your average breakfast spot with a hearty southern style. If your in Toronto and want breakfast, come here!

Guys listen listen ITS NOT WORTH ITS. We tried to have breakfast here several times over the weekend and the wait was always 3-4 hours. This gives the impression that the diner is really very cool, so we decided to go for it anyway Because we live close to the place. So signed up on the waitlist and waited more than 3.5 hours to get an absolutely mediocre breakfast. Yes, the omelette scramble was good. But this is an ordinary omelette.. an ordinary omelette, if they ruined it, it would be really sad. The hash brown was ok, fresh, airy, but too peppery and lacking in other spices. A lot of pepper, but little salt and everything else. The sausage was tasty, just normal. For example the Laurens market in Dnister MUCH tastier baked sausage, without waiting if anything. Mushrooms and toast are mediocre. I also tried a few pieces of the turkey sandwich. It was ok, very tasty fruit gravy. I usually dont like gravy, but this one was fresh, interesting and berry-rich, and go well with the flavor of the turkey. French toast is mediocre. In general, the interior is very dated and looks neglected. Maybe its a vibe and thats ok, but when youre waiting for so much and you expect something more pleasant. There are no coat hooks for people sitting at the bar. This is very inconvenient! it turns out youre sitting at the bar with huge jackets on your lap and cant relax to eat. Our waitress at the bar was incredibly friendly and sweet. helped us choose what to eat, was polite, the cook who brought us food was also nice and polite and pleasant. But the person who met us at the entrance was frankly not very friendly and there was no feeling that they were happy to see us. In total, we paid about $80 for a mediocre breakfast with a mediocre atmosphere. I think its not worth it... Or maybe it s exactly what Canada is about

I ordered the turkey club sandwich and it came with a delicious fresh green salad and a scoop of savoury potatoe salad. The service was quick and flavours so delicious!! I gave it only 4 stars as it may be a wait to have a seat...there is a virtual waiting list and recommen using it if you get frustrated waiting for a table. However, worth the visit!!

Best Reuben Sandwich Ive ever had !! Small bright place, with delicious sandwich, served with side green salad and scoop of sweet potato salad. Really, really good!!

The atmosphere is great, the food is under seasoned and absolutely not worth the wait. The patty melt was good, the pancakes were better. The hot turkey completely lacked flavour.

Stop pretending were in Brooklyn or Manhattan. Just get an online booking system and stop treating customers like throw away ATMs to use at your own disposal.

Cute lil diner with a fun menu! Great portions and super savory food options. I dont normally order dinners at diners, mostly breakfasts but the turkey dinner looked amazing & didnt disappoint.

10/10 spot. Went in super quick for a good meal but exceeded expectation. The food was excellent, as the ppl, vibe, atmosphere, etc. I was especially surprised by how one could make collard green delicious, and also in particular, the buttermilk dumpling soup! Omg, out of this world, earthy, buttery, good!

I ve been trying to eat here for a year, I came into the restaurant a handful of times and was turned away. We ve tried the online wait list but it s always been in the 7-8 hr wait period. Anyone have any tips on how to eat here? It looks amazing but haven t been able to get in yet. Thanks in advance.

As a Toronto native, I can honestly say this is my all-time favourite brunch spot in the city probably ever. I m deep in the West end but I would happily make the trip across town, in rush hour- any day of the week- to absolutely gorge here. I d make a recommendation but honestly everything I ve had here is sublime. I don t think you can go wrong!

October 2024: Return visit. I had the steak & eggs which was done to perfection but for 30 dollars, would it kill ya to include a piece of toast? I had to mooch one from my sisters plate. 2024:Nice people who make good, clean food. Unfortunately, we were seated right next to the speaker and the volume made it difficult to have a normal conversation. Breakfast for two with coffee/tea & tax came to 57 dollars plus tip...well worth it. Street parking.

Listen, this place is crazy good. I m not going to say much because there is nothing really to say. Service is great, very chill and welcoming. Food I mean, look at the photos. They balance acid with hearty flavours and it messed me up good. This is the spot for elevated diner food. It s like the gravy was giving me a hug, I swear to god. Atmosphere, it s a diner, and it looks like one. So it s great! Location honestly isn t the best. This area of queen feels like a wasteland. Although if you re getting an oil change on your Porsche ( I m not) this could be a stop along the way!? Will be back to try the donuts! Thanks folks, Honest F

This was the second time I ve had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Both times, the staff seemed completely unwilling to accommodate us. They claimed there were no chairs available, despite there being several empty seats in plain sight. It felt like they didn t want us to stay, and their behavior came across as rude and possibly discriminatory. When we confronted them about the available seating, they seemed upset that we were insisting on staying. It s incredibly frustrating to deal with such unwelcoming service, especially more than once. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a respectful and inclusive dining experience.

Great food!

Horrible service. Miserable server. Never checked on us, was out of what I originally ordered but didn t tell me until the other food was coming out. So I had to sit and wait while my daughter ate. Nasty potato salad more like potato mush with extra dill. No just no the green salad was just that greens. Bland AF salad dresing . Breakfast sandwich under cooked bacon, lack of salt or pepper, like did they miss their first cooking class - basic season the food. Biscuits tasted like raw flour and salt. Under cooked and soupy overly sweet jam. Smoked salmon toast. Yep there was toast and smoked salmon. Again lacked any sort of salt or pepper. It was drenched in olive oil, needed acid like a house on fire needs water and the mix of herbs just weren t what goes with salmon. Would never go back and would never recommend.

Many customers kept coming in, and the waiters were very busy, but they were still very friendly. The ingredients are fresh and simple but not less delicious. The sauce is rich and fragrant and worth tasting. The mashed potato salad is too sweet!

Update as of 19th Oct 2024: Still really love this diner. Had a Reuben version of the patty melt, was delicious, really tasty salad sides (potato & green). Received a mistaken beer and it was a fortuitous mistake. Thanks again! I havent been able to find a good patty melt since moving from the Midwest US. We enjoyed one and turkey French toast dinner, both delicious. Their dessert of the day was amazing too - lemon pudding with creme, blueberry compote! Thanks very much.

We are so lucky to have this Michelin Bib Gourmand diner in our neighbourhood. We ve done our best to work our way through the menu so far my favourite is the OG Pattymelt (make it breakfast with an egg). The pimento cheese to share or start is amazing. The same can be said about their buttermilk biscuits and house made donuts. There really isn t a bad selection on the menu (that we ve found). If you re planning on going during peak brunch hours, make sure to join their online waitlist for any shot at getting a table. Our real favourite cheat code? Going late afternoon/ early evening for dinner. The menu is exactly the same, and we haven t had to wait for a table yet.

Tried this place for the first time. There was a crazy wait time. We waited for 3 hours and then finally got a table. When you have waited for quite some time, go in there coz when there are a lot of tables empty and nobody is showing up, they give you the table. That happened with us which was very very sweet of them. The food is incredible. We had the meat loaf and OG beef. Its just that it is a bit pricy. Also, not a lot of vegetarian and chicken options. The service was great too. Overall, definitely try this place.

Worth the 20 min wait. Got the Griddles they were fluffy and thick. It looked nothing like a regular flat pan cake. Give it a try.

Great place that fills up quickly so definitely go early otherwise you ll be waiting for hours. Potatoes were great, sausage was great, the entire breakfast was tasty! Would definitely go again!

Wow, their OG Patty Melt will be my go-to from now ON! It was grilled, seasoned and built with PERFECTION! Highly recommend!

Although a wait is expected, theres a reason why this place is so popular. The food was fantastic and we had really good service. I still have the OG Patty Melt on my mind. That was one of the best beef patties Ive had in Toronto. The booths are a little small and can accommodate groups up to 4 comfortably.

We saw this place on a food Network show and couldnt wait to try it! We waited on the waitlist for almost 4 hours to eat here......and it was well worth the wait. Hot turkey sandwich, griddle cakes and the meatloaf sandwich were incredible. Lives up to the hype. Highly suggest walking around the area while you wait (lots of nice shops and coffee places) or getting on the waitlist as early as humanly possible.

I ve been here many times for dine in and take out and White Lily always hits the spot. Reuben, stuffed turkey, meatloaf , biscuits . Everything on the menu is worth trying

This modern take on classic diners 100% deserves the bib gourmand in the 2023 MICHELIN Guide Canada. Pro tip: come in the late afternoon or for dinner to avoid the lines - Its the same menu with less of the frenzy. We ordered the 6oz OG patty melt and smoked turkey club and I have to say, both sandwiches were of the highest quality. The slices of bread were perfectly toasted and buttered, the pieces of turkey were thick and substantial, the veggies were crisp and fresh, and the burger patty was juiced like a Gusher. I especially liked the sweet & spicy combo of the Poblano relish in the patty melt which contrasted the fattiness of the beef and cheese very well. The sweet potato salad and seasonal salads were also wonderful accents that were refreshing and unique. Lastly, we ordered the peach cobbler dessert which was playfully decorated with dainty flower petals but lacked the sweetness to elevate it. A vanilla ice cream pairing, in my opinion, would have been a more classic and scrumptious choice. Overall, a must-go in Toronto for a brunch, lunch, or a light dinner!

All I can say is that this was an immaculate experience! We came by on a late Saturday afternoon. The staff was warm, and we got seated right away. I ordered a Hot Turkey and let me tell you that was the best decision I have made all month. When it arrived at the table, I had to pull my jaw back up before picking up my utensils and savouring every single bite until the end. On a bed of fluffy, savoury french toast rested medium slices of smoked turkey doused in gravy, chives to top, and maple butter to melt through the heat slowly dropping onto every bite. At first, I wasn t sure about the rhubarb but how wrong was I! Nothing could have made all my bites better than a tiny accompaniment of their rhubarb s coy sweetness. What a delightful tease! The whole meal felt like having a late summer picnic on a prairie under the partly cloudy skies If you re looking for a culinary experience, this is the place! I ll be back to experience more delight very soon!

Quaint little diner, menu is a bit different from most. Food is excellent, service is relaxed and not overbearing. You won t find the usual eggs Benedict but they source most, if not all their ingredients locally which is a big plus. Their menu also changes here and there, but there are some staples that continue on. Been a handful of times now and every time it s been great. Also they have really good bread, and fresh daily doughnuts. Get the doughnuts early because they do run out.

We happened on this place by accident and it was amazing. Hands down our best meal of the whole vacation.

Was super excited to come here after seeing the rave reviews so I came in on a Friday evening with no wait. Ordered the pimento cheese, hot turkey and OG melt. The appetizer was the best part because the rest of the food was pretty bland. I don t understand the hype over the items as they didn t seem well seasoned. The hot turkey had such a mild taste, that combined with the gravy and bread, just was a letdown for me. The OG melt was a little better, but also could ve done with some more salt and spices. The salad it came with was soggy and drenched in salad dressing and the potato salad tasted too strongly of dill. The portions were nice and big but the flavours were seriously lacking. Disappointed because I really wanted to like this place.

There is a really frustrating waiting line on the weekend, but book online early morning and take your time in the neighborhood and you d be fine! The patty melt was amazing. We also had the southern breakfast but I ll try the meatloaf next time.

The restaurant serves all day brunch alongside classic diner-style meals, all made fresh in house. Many of their non-brunch entrées consist of diner-style sandwiches along with other traditional offerings like meatloaf. Their OG Patty Melt is one of their popular choices, which is a beef patty sandwich with cheese sauce and a sweet spicy relish on white bread. It also comes with the option to make it a breakfast which adds an egg and bacon to the meal. Other included sides included a fresh garden salad and a sweet potato salad. Their entrées alone can be filling for one given the portion size of the sandwich or their other entrées such as the meatloaf dinner or hot turkey plate. They also have a daily special for dessert alongside their doughnuts (as a popular dessert item). The special was a peach cobbler, which was freshly made in house and served warm. The cobbler was not too sweet or heavy, and helped to complete the meal overall. Overall, would recommend visiting as it definitely meets the mark as one of the restaurants recommended on the Michelin Guide list for Toronto. As they are best known for their brunch, best to get on the wait list early or expect a wait (30+ mins) to get in for brunch.

Super high quality ingredients make really tasty food. Love the patty melt.

Food was average, nothing to write home about. Biscuit and bacon were above average but the rest was below average. Certainly not worth the hype. Service was beyond terrible. Can t recall the last time I had a server so overtly dismissive and yet absent, only bothering to ask about our day when it was time to tip. So many better diners in the vicinity that I ve had better experiences with.

Its important to get organised and get yourself on the waitlist if you decide to go. Its a cute diner with limited seating, its worth it though as their food quality is great and you wont be disappointed. So much to choose from and I definitely had problems deciding what to eat. Finally settled with ordering a few things to share. Think the biscuit with sausage gravy is a must have (ideally share it with others unless you have a big appetite or you have it as a main with some sides). Love the layout of the diner, its very cosy and I loved my experience there. Think price is reasonable and worth the travel and wait.

Went there last sunday for brunch, was on the waiting list for more than 3 hours. I believe this place is very busy. Just didnt like how we waited for so long. On the other hand, I like their sausage and the broccoli salad I can say that it was very refreshing. The only problem is the waiting time.

excellent place for weekend breakfast or brunch seating a bit tight but comfy lighting service is average but friendly we have white lily standard and patty melt standard is good portion similar to traditional menu the hash brown is so good crispy and thin; sauga is huge and a bit salty but very solid texture tasty in general. the toast is heavily buttered and lightly toasted to perfection. melt is a must to try. like a smashed burger patty; the sauce is outstanding minced pickle mix w sautéed onion! well balanced; amazing. if a thicker cheese on it would be better if calling the melt. salad could be a bit sour if sitting too long: the yam mashed is different from the franchise style. entire dish is a surprise. donut is overpriced but ask for donut of the day. may be find sth u like heads up u have to wait for an hour even though u join the waiting list after opening u have to try this place no disappointment

Definitely worth a visit. We placed a reservation early at 9:20 and still had to wait an hour on Sunday morning, so if anybody is planning to visit, do keep that in mind. The food was phenomenal. Ingredients were fresh and tasted great. Definitely try the turkey stuffed French toast and buttermilk biscuits!

The food was on par but the service was terrible. We went on a Saturday right at opening and ordered a southern breakfast, pancakes, and a sweet potato salad. We received our food ONE HOUR after we ordered which was way later than the second wave of customers that was there. Some tables were even given to their third wave of customers. To the least, we were dismissed by the waiters and it was noticeable that they were avoiding eye contact even though they knew that we just wanted to know where our food was. The only time the servers tried to make conversation was when we re were paying the bill. eventually we did receive our food but given the terrible service, we did not enjoy the food. Typically, I do not leave bad reviews but this experience was straight up just disappointing. You would never expect horrible service to destroy your whole dining experience and mood for the rest of the day.

Walked in at 0900 on a Friday morning as a solo diner, ordered the OG patty melt with a side of hashbrowns and the day s donut to go. - No need to lineup beforehand, but do come right at opening, by 0915 all the tables were taken and only 2 counter seats were left - Service is fast, I was out the door by 0935 - Personally, I found the patty melt plate to be off-putting in its sweetness. The burger (cause that s what it is, just with toast) had a sizeable amount of sweet relish on it, which in addition to the scoop of sweet potato mash, made the overall flavour very sweet. I think next time I d skip the sweet potato mash for regular potatoes or just more salad. The burger meat is alright, leaked a lot of juice but tasted lean. - The hashbrowns here is a stack of thinly shredded potatoes (my favourite kind). Mine was only pan fried on one side so the bottom was just limp soft potato strands which not hold together at all, I really wished it was fried in both sides cause the crunchy bits was very nice. Very greasy sitting in a pool of its own oil and I didn t care for the mayo. - The donut of the day was a raspberry(?) kruller. For context, I really enjoy the light airy texture of Timmie s kruller. This one is more dense, cakey and very sweet, I didn t get any of the tartness I expected from something labelled raspberry . It was also pretty expensive ($4.5?) so I ll skip next time.

This restaurant is a lesson in how to do the simple things in the best possible manner. Their attention to what they do best is remarkable. Extremely (intentionally) casual, great service (considering all those hundreds waiting in queue), and food that just doesnt allow you to stop admiring it. The scrambled eggs were probably the best Ive eaten, ever, and the rhubarb biscuit was layers of simple brilliance wrapped in one small package. No words will be enough - will definitely return.

Good food but the waitlist is becoming a joke, definitely not worth the wait. Over 200 mins wait time is ridiculous. Hopefully they can find a solution for their success.

The food here is delicious! They have a farm to table concept and you can really taste that everything is home made. I recommend the meatloaf sandwich, hash brown and then house kombucha. You have to be prepared to wait a while if you come on the weekend. I would strongly advise to waitlist virtually. I got on the waitlist at 9:45am for 4 people and was seated at almost 2pm.

True this place a few weeks ago for brunch. This place is always busy and I would recommend making resos. We got lucky and managed to snag seats at the bar. I got the southern breakfast and it was fantastic. The highlight for me was the collard greens.

What a fun and delicious find! Had the White Lily Standard and Southern breakfast plates that included marinated mushrooms and bok choy, respectively. Excellent biscuits and grits. The asparagus with hollandaise was to die for. The staff were absolutely superb.

No issues getting a table for one on Thursday morning. Service was warm and friendly. I enjoyed the biscuit with butter and jam, OG Patty Melt and sour cream glazed donut. The OG sandwich came with a side green salad and sweet potato salad (not my fave since I have aversion to dill) which helped to balance out the richness of the sandwich. The biscuit was amazing with the homemade jam and whipped butter. The donut was delicious, hard to choose between this and the biscuit - get both.

The diner is packed in the morning so came here for dinner, it s the same dishes but no lineup. The food as great, particularly the hot turkey sandwich. Usually turkey is dry and stringy but this turkey was very juicy. The salad was super fresh and the biscuit was fluffy and crunchy. The server noticed that our food was late and so offered a free donut and took the drinks off the bill without us asking and thats some next level service as well. No wonder they are so packed and one of the highest rated places in the city. Highly recommended!

While not overly complex, the patty melt and hash brown amazingly creative and delicious . Amazing service by the waitress and ambience too. This is firmly my no. 1 brunch/ breakfast place in Toronto now. Oh and the coffee was awesome. It was light and subtle but not watery. The floral notes were nice too

Quaint, small diner with cute booths and limited seating but probably the highest quality menu and ingredients I have ever tasted. We recently got the hot turkey dinner and pastrami. Their sweet potato salad is almost a dessert its so sweet and decadent. The pastrami was full of flavour and not too lean. The hot turkey French toast, gravy, pear chutney and maple butter was such a wonderful combination. Everything seemed super fresh, considering the food comes from White Lily farms. Service is friendly. Ive never had a bad meal here. It is undeniably one of the best restaurants in the city.

Proof that simple is best. White Lily plays the classic diner hits to perfection, using what are clearly the best possible ingredients. The line on the weekends is long (and for good reason), so just go ahead and book off a weekday morning for a fake doctors appointment - this food is worth it!

JOIN THE VIRTUAL WAITLIST ASAP! Unfortunately, we were not aware of the waitlist and showed up 15min after opening on a Saturday morning to a 40 person waitlist (1hr 30min wait) and a 30min wait for patio or bar seating. Since we were on a schedule, we weren t able to wait and had to leave. Great atmosphere and food smelled delicious, but the waitlist is kind of ridiculous.

Long wait time even though we checked in at 9:17AM for the waitlist on a Sunday. Was seated for 4 at 12PM. But the food was fresh and so delicious. Would recommend the patty melt, side hash browns, and asparagus if they have it.

Hands down one of the best brunches in the city! I love their creative spins of brunch/diner classics. The hot turkey French toast is thanksgiving dinner in brunch form and is SO good. I also appreciate that they have an online waitlist that allows you to explore the area while you wait for your table.

Small cozy diner with friendly staff. The biscuits with sausage gravy are to die for and I will definitely be coming back here again for those. If youre coming here on a weekend, make sure to join the waitlist as soon as the diner opens because it can take multiple hours to get a table later in the day. The good part is once youre there, the staff can put you on the list for a bar seat, which is a lot faster.

We stumbled at this place after a long bike ride in the city and were lucky that we didn t have to wait. A cute spot with great friendly service, and I love their concept of all homemade and farm to table. We went later in the day and got the patty melt and the hot turkey and a hash brown to share. The hashbrown tasted great but I wish it was more crispy - the mayo on top added a nice flavour and went well with their homemade hot sauce! The hot turkey on savoury French toast was delicious. A refined thanksgiving dinner-esque vibe but a unique and delicious dish all on its own as well. The patty melt was crispy and the beef was juicy and flavourful. The homemade bread and attention to detail and freshness in their dishes really shined through. I recommend asking for hot sauce to try with their dishes, it seems like they make it in house but be warned- it packs a punch! This place deserves all the hype it gets and is definitely a top diner in Toronto

So. We LOVE this place. Donuts amazing. Food amazing Quality so fresh Portions very filling Always worth the price, and the food is DELICIOUS. We go at least once a month if not more. They change donut flavors daily and are fluffy soft and not oily or heavy. The flavors are unique and really good. I love all their rhubarb ones, pear, and earl grey. Was a little disappointed when I ordered the half dozen I didnt get flavors of the day but instead cinnamon sugar and vanilla sprinkle as 4 of 6 which was kind of lame. The only other complaint would be bathrooms could be better, the accessible one had a leak twice and needed more regular cleaning and the tiny one qas clean but is well....tiny. But the food is worth it so we still go regularly. Beat grits and pickled greens and hot turkey or turkey club

We opted to sit at the bar so we got a seat within 20 min of putting our name on the waitlist (It was a Sunday, around 11:30 am) Tried the OG Patty Melt, Reuben Sandwich and the featured dessert-a rye brownie with creme fraiche. The Patty Melt and Reuben were a perfect 10/10. The brownie wasnt bad, but I regret not getting a donut instead. This place is a little pricey in my opinion (almost $80 for 2 people with tax and tip) but it is definitely worth a visit!

This cute little restaurant has very limited seating, we woke up at 9:30 to put ourselves on the online guestlist and there were 30 tables a head of us. We didn t get seated until about 1pm (3.5 hour wait pretty much) good thing is you can just put your name online and go to the restaurant when you re next. For the food, very different from your regular breakfast / brunch spot. A lot of south influences like grits, and biscuits etc. the portions were massive and their drinks were delicious and refreshing, I got the home made kombucha and it was soooo good. I loved their grits as well, better than most places I ve been.

You have the get the biscuits and the turkey club! The breakfast and lemon poppy seed cake is great too but the damn sweet pickles are to die for!

Highly recommend the hot turkey. Super delicious and love the savoury and sweet combo plus the maple butter is next level. The French toast is also seasoned really well and has a one-of-a-kind flavours The meat loaf dinner was also good. Meat loaf is seasoned and cooked perfectly and you get the biscuit with it. However the grits are a bit bland. Never walk in unless your here at opening. Make sure you make a reservation from their website 2h in advance because its a small restaurant.

I ve tried their breakfast and lunch menu and everything is always delicious! Highly recommend their white Lily standard breakfast + biscuits with butter/jam. Amazing service every time we go. There is a reason why there is always a line / long wait list. Worth it every time!

Not many vegetarian options. Had their main breakfast item for $20 with mushrooms instead of bacon. Was expecting them to be sautéed but they tasted pickled. Also, was surprised to find out they ran out of their famous donuts at 1:00 p.m. despite being open until 10:00 p.m. Like their waitlist app. But not impressed with their lack of vegan options and sparse vegetarian options. Also, not happy that they don t mention their mushrooms are pickled and not sautéed.

Me and my friends went here for brunch and the food here is AMAZING! Especially people should try the Hot Turkey!! We ordered quite a lot of dishes - Hash brown, Hot Turkey, Buttermilk griddle cakes, Biscuit and Sausage gravy, Salmon Toast and donuts. For dessert we got Lemon poppy seeds cake and wow that was also so great!! But the waiting time is quite high, atleast on weekends. They do have virtual online waitlist which opens at 9:15. If you book it early then we saw with time was relatively less. But the wait is WORTH IT!

Friends and I have been meaning to go for a while but never made it as this place is so in-demand with long wait times. Finally got up early and waited in line before it opened. Pancakes were good but didnt have any fruits or anything to make it more of a meal, which was odd for the price. Hash browns had too much mayonnaise sauce. I got a raspberry rhubarb donut To Go for my girlfriend and she was so excited... only to find it didnt have any filling and didnt taste like raspberry or rhubarb. That was disappointing. Maybe the classics menu is better than the breakfast. Service was good.

Breakfast is awesome! Theyre also licensed so you can have mimosas, etc. Great donuts! They change the three flavors every day. So good! Quite pricey though. Two people, two mimosas each with our breakfast and three donuts to go. Our bill was about $145 before tip.

Waited around 1.5 hours to get a table for 4 after joining the waitlist at 9:16 am! Glad that they have a waitlist to stay organized and just hung out around the area when it was close to our turn. The food was pretty heavy but great flavours!

didn t expect there to be a long wait on a wednesday but that s my fault they do use a very neat waitlist platform that lets you track your place in line and how long you ve been waiting, updating in real time. we arrived a little before 1pm and waited about an hour. but there s lots of cute shops in the area and it was a really nice day so i didn t mind! the food was fantastic, we got the reuben and the southern breakfast. the orange stuff in the reuben photo is the sweet potato salad (so good!) i absolutely love grits and the biscuits were so so so so so good, fluffy and moist. they also sell biscuit mix! maybe i ll try it.

Everything about this diner is utterly amazing, but I m especially ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with the hash browns!!! The hashbrowns here with the malt mayo are the best thing ever , I literally live across the street so i end up getting hashbrowns literally every other day because I can t help myself

Ok so this place is apparently on the Michelin guide but honestly I ve had better breakfast in Toronto. We had just a normal breakfast (eggs, bacon etc) it was all good and done well and the iced coffee was yummy but nothing to write home about. We also had the donuts and I thought the donuts were 2.5/5 they were not that great so I m not sure what everyone was raving about. The wait is crazy and we went mid day on a Friday. I would say solid (hash browns slapped), but not worth a crazy wait (it is a virtual wait list but still it s a long time), and it was very expensive for breakfast food, but that s Toronto I guess.

We were there for Sunday brunch at 9:30 and got a great booth by the kitchen. Perfect for watching all the great food being served up. The playlist was on point and atmosphere excellent. We had a hard time choosing what to order because the options were all pretty intriguing. We ended up ordering The Standard (with a biscuit, influenced by kitchen views) and the Hot Turkey. The portions were generous and flavours perfectly combined. I will be dreaming about the Hot Turkey French toast combination from now on. And definitely don t skip on the biscuit. Worth the visit and we ll certainly return again.

This isnt your average diner! White Lily takes classic favorites and elevates them while maintaining a homestyle feel. Couldnt recommend the patty melt, ceaser salad, and hashbrown with malt mayo more! Cocktails looked great though I just had a cup of coffee.

White Lily Diner does not dissapoint!! Farm fresh eggs done exactly right served with a delicious homemade sausage and tastiest artisan toasted bread. Homemade hash--yum!!!! We had to wait for a table, but once seated we.had no regrets!!!!!

We arrived here at around 2:40ish on Saturday thinking it s way passed lunch time so there must be not much ppl but hell no we were put on 1.5 hour wait list lolll we waited reading their good reviews and our expectation just kept going high. Seemed like most ppl order the Hot Turkey sandwich, hash brown, and the buttermilk biscuit. Many were favouring the biscuit with sausage with gravy so we got that and the Hot Turkey sandwich and we also got the hash brown. We also ordered OG Pattie Melt. First of all, Hot Turkey was too greasy for me. The peach bits were the winner in this dish. But the two layer of the bread that s probably been bathed in butter and gravy was too much for me i only ate one slice. The Turkey was delicious. The hash brown was just a hash brown. Maybe the mayo on top was too much. Fried in oil and another greasy ingredients, mayo hmmm i had to add a lot of ketchup to balance the taste. The OG sandwich was fantastic!! So tasty and juicy!! The pickles were so delicious. It was so refreshing and there seemed to be a hint of chilly taste which balanced the dish very well!! The salad that came with it was super refreshing too. The buttermilk biscuit was good. But i would suggest you to pick a right side sauce with it to pair with whatever you re ordering. We already had so much greasy food and shouldn t have order another gravy +sausage combo. Overall, not a bad place but not sure if it s worth 3hr wait like some ppl said it is worth it lol i would wait half an hr max. Also with a further research, this place was on Michelin Guide.

I came here for brunch recently and had an amazing experience. Their hot turkey dinner really stood out to me as it had a base of french toast and the waitress echoed my thoughts and highly recommended it. I really liked how different it was and I appreciate when a brunch place has items outside of the standard. I would highly recommend this dish for a great experience. The service was great as well and the waitress I had was very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes.

My go to even before the much much deserved Michlin star! I would recommend WhiteLily to everyone i know, part of me of wanted to gatekeep haha, but they deserve all the customers, and everyone should try their food.

Very cute little diner spot East of the city! On the weekend, the virtual waitlist starts at 9:15am!!! It s a lengthy wait but it s worth it. The price to quality of food is great, and the staff are super friendly. Sitting by the bar counter means you get to see the kitchen and the prep work that goes on which is always a nice change! My favourite dish of the day was the buttermilk griddle cakes, they were so fluffy and delicious! PS: If you want a specific donut, order at the beginning of your meal, the donut flavours could sell out!!
