An independent espresso bar located in the Stockyards District of Toronto specializing in premium single origin coffee. Our food menu is small, but offers fresh to order breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, yogurt parfait and daily lunch option along with Plant-Based sweet and savoury treats. All healthy baked goods are made in house with locally sourced ingredients. *please note this is a laptop free establishment.
Best coffee in Toronto. I don’t make the rules 🤷🏻♀️ This isn’t a coffee shop as much as it is an authentic cultural experience. We moved recently into the neighbourhood and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to check out a place so highly rated. The day that we first visited, the water main was shut off in the area and the owner had adapted his services to some very cool machinery (handmade) from Italy. It’s so refreshing to interact with someone who genuinely loves what they do and isn’t just in it for the money. You can tell he really respects what he does and that’s something that I rarely encounter. Our favourite thing to do is take our coffee loving friends here because it’s truly a revolutionary experience - not just for the palate but the conversation ✌🏼
I’m a tea drinker and will have an occasional espresso, but not today. So I stopped in at The Stockyards Grind Espresso Bar for a decaf tea and ended up with a delicious Harney & Sons Cinnamon served in an antique cup and spoon like I have at home from my Grandmother’s Antique Store in Kingston - Allie’s Antiques. Good vibes were playing from the Marshall sound box. No laptops allowed ie. “No Camping”. It’s about connection - connecting with the space, the antiques, the music and the coffee bean. Everything is high quality down to the 7 different types of beans you can choose from medium-light to medium and dark from Brazil, Nicaragua, Honduras, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Guatemala and Colombia. Sean is the owner and host aka barista but he’s way more than that. His knowledge is unbelievable and will help you choose your bean. After we started talking I changed my mind and couldn’t pass up an espresso. I had a Brazilian Sucuri Bean and learned how to take the right number of sips and what to do with it in my mouth. You’ll need to visit to learn yourself 😀 from Sean. We sat and chilled on the patio beside his garden. There is a small food menu but it’s really about connecting as mentioned above. Sean takes cash and debit. Nice place to unplug, relax and unwind. I’ll definitely be back. Chris>
My friend and I went out of our way during errands to check out this spot and I feel transported to an easy breezy relaxing atmosphere I don’t get in the city much! I ordered the Protein Shake Mocha so now I feel when we get our groceries and lug our little granny cart around I will feel jacked! And my friend got a handmade chocolate milk (an off menu deluxe item? or was the barista super nice and accommodating? Either way, very appreciated!) The wait is longer than fast food places because this isn’t a fast food place! Food is made to order with care and it feels more like the food you get when visiting a friend (who really knows how to cook and knows everything about coffee). As other reviews say, this really feels like a gem in the city!
Five star coffee at this hidden neighborhood gem! It's an education in global beans and various styles of coffee. Sean the owner knows his stuff and has an infectious passion for all things coffee. I've loved the friendly local vibe and community comraderie that gets your day or weekend of to the best start! Warning - It's been the best kind of craving causing addiction to cultivate!
Great coffee and pastries. You get to choose your blend before the coffee is made. There’s a side patio and if the weather permits chairs outside. The inside is also quite cool and has a character. Nice find! Give it a try!
This might be my favorite coffee shop in Toronto. So lowkey you wouldn’t know it’s there. Amazing atmosphere and so cozy specially in a rainy day. Old rock music is so nice in the background. Afew seats to sit and enjoy super tasty coffee. I honestly was really impressed by this cafe and customer service. I’d sit here for hours and work on my laptop or read a book.
Me and my girlfriends went to this event hosted by @Snackbarzero. The coffee is top notch! We had a cappuccino and coldbrew with oat milk. The Food was absolutely amazing 😋. We tried everything on the menu. I'm marking the next event on my calendar (June7) The atmosphere is awesome and service was friendly and fast:) Thanks again!!
It is such an amazing cafe. I tasted a cortado for the first time, which was fantastic and became my favorite. The owner explained coffee really well. The atmosphere is so cozy and hip. Highly recommend.
Great coffee. Nice baked on-site cookies are not too sweet and pair well with coffee. Good vibe inside, too.
best coffee in the area. premium beans and nice espresso machine
This place is one of the best cafes in the city, if not the best. Great coffee, lovely vibes and wonderful humans.
Very cool spot - great atmosphere, great coffee.
Best espresso in the city. Best vibes, too
We drove about 15 min from our Air BnB after putting best coffee in Toronto into our search and having this joint come up. My wife and I wanted a break from the kids so we left them with the grandparents and drove here. Its a no frills cafe for those who enjoy a superior brew. The owner is knowledgeable, funny, and makes a killer cup of coffee. I got an Americano with the Guatamala, my wife got a latte with the same. Great experience, superior coffee. This falls in the Top 5 Americanos Ive had for sure. Go here.
A real gem of a place. If you really love coffee, or want a small intimate place thats intentionally geared for chatting & connecting (not laptop coworking) visit & enjoy. Sean has a clear vision and is expertly executing on it. One of my favourite places Ive been since coming to the west end after decades in the east
Amazing coffee, large selection of beans and the barista knew exactly how they were sourced. Could use a sign out front with the name to aid discovery.
Great coffee and very friendly service!
Really great small coffee shop. Theyll help dial in the beans to your taste, and made fresh. Top shelf coffee.
Ahhh the coffee nutsy . Do not ask him how he s doing or anything cause he will get angry. Guy should not be serving the public. Decent beans, but the guy is definitely not friendly.
I had a cappuccino, and the moment I asked for sugar, the barista had this disappointed look on his face like I committed an unforgivable offence, like what s wrong with asking for sugar?! I like my coffee a little sweet once in a while. He mentioned that it will affect the taste, but in reality, his cappuccino was mediocre at best. Don t get me wrong, I appreciate people who are very passionate about coffee and at what they do, but don t tell me how to drink my coffee!
Very nice barista. Lovely and chill spot.
Ohhh amazing atmosphere with an extraordinary coffee and an ideal barista whom knows his craft. Sean is an amazing barista and presented us top level customer service. Fully recommended!!!
Its probably fine
The coffee is better than I even understand and the hand-made paper fan by Ms. Olivia was the cherry on top of this humid day.
deliciously smooth latte and great vibe
How to describe a hidden gem and keep it hidden? Do not come here with plans to work remotely. Do not come here with the hope of getting a matcha latte. This is an espresso bar. Do come here if you LOVE coffee. You can tell from the owner (Shawn?) That he LOVES coffee. As a non-coffee drinker even I was almost intrigued enough after hearing him speak to give coffee yet another chance. There is a tea selection and if you plead nicely enough, you can even get a London Fog I appreciate everything about this place and would love to come hang again
I visited The Stockyards Grind in Toronto while staying at a nearby Airbnb. At the time, I didnt yet have any Canadian currency. Since the business operates on a cash-first or e-transfer basis, I couldnt purchase coffee. However, Shawn, the owner and an excellent father, stepped in and told me I could come back and pay him the next day. I was so excited to return and learn more about his coffee shop and his dad duties. If youre ever in the area, please stop by and support this local Toronto small business. Shawn also gave me great tips on places to visit in downtown Toronto. He is truly an amazing individual, and the coffee is absolutely delicious.
Best coffee I ve had in a long time , not many other places in the city offer the amount of choice. Service was great
Great coffee and vibe, def recommend
Unique and laidback space. Lovely patio and great coffee
An authentic, caring and highly quality oriented experience.
Top notch quality and service
Best coffee in Toronto. Great service and staff that are super knowledgeable about roast/beans/flavours and it continues to be unbeatable with the best coffee in Toronto. Food : 5/5
One of my favourite cafes in Toronto. I try to come once a week, thanks Sean for the great coffee!!!
Best coffee in the world
Just the best. Impeccable vibes. Impeccable treatment. Impeccable coffee. The barista is a character, kind, knowledgeable, and explains things simply so that you dont feel dumb or like youre not enough of a coffee snob to enjoy what he has to offer. Everything we got was delicious, a latte, cappuccino, and Americano to go. Cant recommend it enough, easily the best coffee Ive had in over 10 years of visiting GTA coffee spots.
Beautiful small café with a lot of different types of beans. Coffee was very good!
Hands down the best cafe in Toronto! Stockyard Grind has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious coffee, mouthwatering food, and unbeatable ambiance. From the moment you step inside, youre greeted with a cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The coffee here is exceptional, brewed to perfection every time. Whether youre a fan of classic espresso drinks or prefer something a bit more adventurous, the talented baristas at Stockyard Grind have you covered But what truly sets this cafe apart is the incredible customer service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. Overall, Stockyard Grind is a hidden gem in Toronto that deserves all the praise it gets. Whether youre a local or just visiting the area, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You wont be disappointed!
Beautiful artisanal coffee! Its a small operation. You get a choice in your espresso roast, which he updates every two weeks. Takes cash or e-transfer only. Has oat milk as a non-dairy option.
DOPE
The barista pressed the tip on the machine for me (and it wasnt 0) before I had the chance to do anything.
Top 3 espresso bars in the city. A must stop if youre in the Stockyards area. Pick from a selection of coffee from all over the world. Every each of this cozy space was made with love. This is where I go for good conversations and through this shop Ive met so many cool people who I now consider friends. Shaun has a true respect for the craft. Great stuff Big Bro
Great local coffee shop
This place has amazing coffee, the owner is an amazing barista and knows his coffee...
What a great place to enjoy a shot pulled with care by a friendly proprietor. A cast of neighborhood regulars filtered through during our visit. A very charming place to energize the body and warm the soul.
Fantastic little place, the coffee is off the charts
A great start to my day with one of their lattés accompanied with a homemade sugar-free blueberry coconut delicacy. Highly recommend!
Love the options!
If youre a coffee lover, this spot is an absolute must-visit. The coffee here is truly excellent rich, flavorful, and never too bitter (at least not with oat milk :P). The barista really knows what hes doing you can tell he takes pride in his craft and is very knowledgeable so even if youre new to this place and youre not sure what to order let him recommend you something based on your coffee flavor wishes.
Amazing coffee and great vibes.
My wife and i have probably one of the best coffes that we ever had in our lifes here, is amazing
Fantastic espresso! Love that we get to chose what type of bean we would like to try. Will definitely come back and try another kind and sit outside and enjoy the weather. Please note they only take debit or cash
Whenever I m in the neighborhood, I make a point of stopping here for a latte. I don t know anywhere that makes better coffee. Today, I tried their breakfast sandwich - really tasty. The cafe is tiny, not a big sitting area, but it s pleasant and homey and the owner is friendly.
Great coffee, terrific service.
Had a protein shake and a breakfast sandwich. The staff was nice and accommodating and the drink / sandwich were fantastic!
What a gem! Very rare to find coffee shops like this in Canada!
Had some time to kill and was very fortunate to find The Stockyards Grind. Thought I was going to grab a bite and a coffee to go but the atmosphere and music selection convinced me to sit down and the conversation rewarded that choice. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. Coffee was excellent, probably my favorite yet! Will definitely be revisiting.
Super tasty breakfast sandwich and excellent coffee.
We had the breakfast sandwich and yogurt parfait - both very thoughtfully made and delicious! Great small business to support ! Great coffee also, tailored to your taste buds (fruity vs not, medium light dark etc)
Out of town, was looking for a coffee shop to wait at. Wasn t what I was expecting but pleasantly surprised. This place is a hidden gem with exceptional customer service. Had no idea what I wanted to order but the owner did a great job at explaining what the coffees taste like and it was absolutely delicious. I got a breakfast sandwich as well which was also very good. The vibes are very laid back and the owner was personable which I appreciated.
Best Americano Ive had in Toronto, I had no idea which beans to choose but the awesome barista helped me pick the perfect one!
The coffee was excellent. They have several options of coffee beans for espresso drinks. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable too. They have a few food options, but it would be nice to have a few more pastry options ( croissants, scones, muffins, cookies). There is a bench outside but not too much seating. Definitely recommend the place to espresso drink lovers if in the area!
The best Barista in Toronto - honestly if you love coffee and respect it, this is the place to go. Vegetarian options: Adjustable sandwich
The coffee is top notch and the food was absolutely delicious
Best espresso spot in Toronto The baked goods are also amazing (although a bit pricey) Food
Outstanding espresso always.
Ordering my drink was like pulling teeth. I wanted a vanilla oat milk latte but didnt see it on the menu so when I asked about non dairy milk options, he said there werent any. He also said there wasnt any vanilla syrup. He said they only did filtered coffee. This was such a bizarre interaction as his responses were monotone, short, and weirdly unfriendly. In the end, he did make me the vanilla oat milk latte I wanted that he claimed not to have any of the ingredients for. Very cold service, but I figured that means the drinks must be good because everyone in the neighborhood is talking about this shop. I had such high hopes for a well crafted cup of coffee. Except the coffee was somehow equally bland and burnt/sour?/bitter? at the same time and I dont think I even tasted vanilla. It was difficult to drink. Its disappointing to see all the 5 star reviews with drinks and options I wasnt made aware of even when I tried to ask. Not sure what the problem was, but Ive been telling people to avoid it here because I felt extremely unwelcome. UPDATED RESPONSE: yup, I triple checked the location before posting. Like I said, very bizarre experience. Also, like I said, I did get served a vanilla oat latte in the end. I was hoping the coffee would speak for itself like its been stated, but it truly, truly did not.
Ive tried a lot of coffee shops, but this is by far the best. Almost everywhere I go, the espresso is really burnt and I thought coffee was just supposed to be bitter, but his espresso is just amazing, and not too bitter.
Best coffee shop in Toronto. Such a hidden gem! I luckily live nearby and am always floored by the care that is taken in creating each coffee. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and his love for his craft is evident. Definitely a must visit in the city :)
A gem of an espresso bar in the neighbourhood. Order an espresso latte every time and am never disappointed. We go for a walk a few times a week with our LO and always make a point to stop here for lattes. Was blown away by the taste of the espresso and my partner was told not to fall in love with it because the beans may change soon T_T Love this place so much!
I dont usually leave low reviews, but I drove a bit of a way just to try this coffee after being recommended this place. I had high expectations and this was super disappointing. I ordered two oat milk lattes and an americano. One of the oat milk lattes was regular milk and the americano was coffee flavoured water. Im not even sure if there was espresso in the latte made with milk or if it was just a cup of steamed milk and the espresso shot was forgotten? I wanted to return the drinks and give this place a second chance but I had already driven home with everyones order before we all realized the quality of the drinks was so terrible. Im shocked at the experience because I did receive a recommendation and I saw the great reviews online. I thought it was important to add this review so that people can manage their high expectations before heading to this spot. The only reason I didnt give one star is because Im hoping this was a fluke or someones off day.
Ive just moved to the neighborhood, and OMG I am so happy to live by this spot! The owner is SO knowledgeable and ready to share his passion for coffee with customers. I dont care about the weather or whatever else happens outside, this is my go-to coffee shop to start the day with a beautiful cup of coffee, great conversation and some new information about my favorite drink. 5 stars definitely do not reflect how I feel about this place, I need more :)
Wonderful place, wonderful human meeting, wonderful coffee experience. Stop in this address to meet Sean (a coffeeologist!) and the authentic coffees. Take my 1st coffee in this place and Ill go back for sure! If you like REAL coffee, this is where you need to take your break. A true experience in the world of coffee, Sean is a coffeeologist who takes the time to address this fascinating subject. A break in a place on a human scale where you are quickly put at ease. So stop going to places where people know nothing about coffee and where it is barely drinkable . Sean is waiting for you!
Shaun, the owner is the best. Best coffee shop in the Junction hands down!
This has become our go-to coffee place after moving into the neighborhood, excellent coffee and atmosphere! Love coming here
Gorgeous spot and tasty coffee. It is nice that the owner is serving up some great brew. Highly recommended. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible.
Great stop for coffee. Owner/operator took the time to explain different coffee blends they were serving and recommended one that fit the flavor profile I like. Unique coffees available and excellent service. Currently operating as a outdoor stop and pickup during the pandemic.
This is my favourite coffee shop in the city. Delicious coffee and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Run, don t walk.
I dont usually rate places that are already 5 stars, 5 stars, but this place is very good. Well worth the visit.
AWESOME coffee. The owner is incredibly nice and knowledgeable with a great variety of blends.
Such a pretty, quaint and cozy cafe in the stockyards district of Toronto. The coffee is amazing and the owner is the nicest ever. This is the reason I love supporting local businesses. Went there today when it was -20 outside and didn t regret it. Tried the dark roast Zimbabwe and Guatemala beans. They have all kinds of beans though. It was my first time here and will definitely keep going back. Just one thing to keep in mind- they only accept debit or cash. They can customize your drink based on your preference which was a plus. Thanks stockyards grind for an amazing experience.
The Flat White made with Zimbabwe beans and oat milk was exactly the flavour I was looking for. This is coffee mastery in action. Where else can you tell the barista (in this case the owner) what kind of taste/aftertaste you are looking for and get exactly what you want?! I will be back and so will family and friends who I would like to share the experience with.
Special tasty coffees from Nepal and others place
If you want great coffee with the choice of more than one bean/roast, look no further.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a place for coffee in the area and stopped in on a whim. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He explained every element of the drink and made the experience above and beyond what I would expect for a coffee shop. We will definitely be coming back!
As an ex-barista I find The Stockyards Grind to have without a doubt some of the best coffee in Toronto! Super friendly staff too! I almost never make reviews online but in this case I had to because they do not have enough recognition for how amazing they are! Ill be back soon
Got an education with my coffee. Quite the experience. Very smooth beverage.
The CEO had asked me to put in a lesser star then 5. However, I should be true to my feeling and experience, the fact that I even forgot to take a picture itself is a sign that I enjoyed the conversation, the coffee and the knowledge shared. Ok back to the coffee, I was given a choice and my taste buds were matched. This is a place you can learn and discover ur true liking in coffee and ur self. Finally both americano and flat white were well received. We will definately visit again!
Best coffee in the neiborhood!
Great cut!
A rare find. Youre not just getting some random coffee shop. Youre getting a great cup of coffee made by a barista who takes time to match the coffee to your tastes and who really cares about the craft. So glad I found it.
I literally never write reviews but had to make an exception here. I came here today just as the owner was closing up - the door was locked when I tried it, so I asked him whether he was closed and offered to come back another time. He opened the door and said dont worry, I got you and welcomed me in. Then I proceeded to ask whether visa was OK as it was all I had on me (I didnt realize the shop is just cash and debit). Again, I told him not to worry, that I lived nearby and would pop back another day. He insisted that he still make me my iced coffee FOR FREE and said just get me next time. Despite my protests, the owner insisted it was okay and made me my drink. He was SO kind and so generous and he deserves your hard-earned money far more than any large corporate chain. Its a true mom and pop shop and I couldnt help but feel like I was back home on the east coast where everyone is so friendly and kind. Literally made my day. And the coffee is delicious. Amazing spot and amazing owner! Sending all the good karma his way.
Best barista in Toronto
The owner of the coffee shop, is always with a positive attitude, polite. Place is always clean and tidy. Best place to go for a latter, espresso or just a coffee
They have multiple options for their espresso, weigh their shots, and really care about their coffee. Definitely go!
I found gold here, excellent coffee and service.
The vibe, the coffee, the owner, top notch!
The best place for a perfect blend, the owner being the sweetest will serve u the best
Delicious coffee and friendly service!
Best Espresso in the City!!! Maybe even Ontario..... Possibly the World!
best coffee shop around a gem!
If youre a coffee lover you need to get your coffee here and even if youre not you need to come and try! So good. Dietary restrictions: They have non dairy options too
Such an amazing, small coffee shop with fantastic coffee! The barista asked me lots of questions pertaining to how I like my coffee and matched me with a panama Americano. Seriously some of the best coffee Ive had! Id come back to Toronto just got this coffee. It cant wait to experience it in the summer when the patio is open.
Just needed a coffee to get day going, had very nice and friendly service and coffee was great!
Picked up an outstanding Americano this morning. 5 different options for beans with helpful advice on what to order. Great local spot and will be back!
Awesome decor and fantastic service. Youre treated like family when you go here!!
My partner and i ordered a india cappuccino with reccomended oat milk and it was amazing! Lemon blueberry loaft was tasty. Great staff. Hidden gem for quality coffee!
Beautiful, attitude free coffee and lovely owner!
V good
By far one of the best places for coffee! You guys need to do more promotions or marketing yo get more customers in the door. I feel so many people are missing out since they might think from the outside that this place is someones house and dont really know what is inside. I have been passing by here for years and never bothered to go in because I really didnt know about it. So glad I found you guys!! Highly recommended and lots of selection. You will not be disappointed !! Small recommendation also: Maybe look into being in Uber Eats so people can order from home. Just a thought! Keep up the great work :)
We started to get our coffees for a treat from this cute little place about 6 weeks ago. They are delicious. The food is also yummy. The owner always remembers what we order and how we like our coffee. We highly recommend this coffee shop.
Sean really knows his coffee. I was matched with the perfect cup of Americano.
Very good coffee, different growing regions, particularly friendly and competent advice, super clean, cozy little café. The breakfast cookies are terrific. Absolutely recommended for coffee lovers!
Exceptional coffee and wonderful addition to the neighborhood!!!
Made a stop to refuel after cycling. Got some dranks! Really nice owner. Only had credit card to pay with at first and he gave coffees for free. What a beut!
Great person great coffee great skills great treats!
This place is a treasure! A European cafe amidst a sea of Tim Hortons double doubles and caramel Starbucks. I rarely review businesses on Google, but in this case I feel like everybody should know. The owner will help you find your perfect bean / flavor profile depending on your preferences, something you may not even know walking in. Coffee is clearly his craft. If there s treats in the window, try one. They re so tasty!
Awesome service and Coffee!! Hmmmm
Been wanting to introduce some cycling buddies to this hidden gem... did not disappoint. Will drop by with my daughter soon. A barista who truly knows his craft.
Neighborhood comes together at the Grind. Thanks for the great coffee, and the owner aint a bad guy either. :)
Excellent custom coffee, Shawn will do yours just right!
Ive been touring Torontos indy coffee shops to find the true gems of the city....The Stockyards Grind is the definition of a true coffee house...the owner knows his craft and his passion for great coffee is obvious...the coffee is sensational...highly recommend a visit to the Stockyards Grind!
A cute gem of a coffee shop in this part of town. One of the best cortados I ve had in a while and great outdoor seating area to people watch. Must visit.
This is worth the trip to St Clair West. Coffee was perfect. They have an amazing breakfast cookie that will power you up.
Coffee from this place is incomparable to any other Ive ever tried. Currently enjoying a cup and cant wait until Toronto is open again so that I can experience the actual atmosphere there!
Great coffee, really cool little place!
This is some of the best coffee in Toronto. Great selection with rotating blends, and an always consistent quality. Whether its a coffee, latte cappuccino, or anything else, I can always expect the best, and it always is. Plus, the service is fantastic, the treats are delicious (and not overly sweet which is a big plus). I love going here, and I always look forward to going back
This place is amazing. Always fresh coffee along with great conversations with the owner, Illia. Its an authentic place which reminds me of when Im traveling. We love it here!
Excellent experience here with amazing coffee. Love this place. One of Torontos hidden gems to be discovered.
Love it
Excellent coffee and very passionate staff, they are great at what they do!
Hands down, the best coffee shop I ve experienced, and I ve done them all. From the chains to the boutique roasters, but Sean offers the best, most authentic coffee experience, in the way you would imagine your ultimate coffee experience to be. Oh, and did I mention, his fresh baked-on-premises treats are a pleasure unto themselves. A highly recommended, hidden gem of the city, definitely worth the trip. Mike
Just stumbled upon Stockyards Grind as I was in the area and had the best Cappuccino of my life this morning! Also a wonderful conversation with the owner. Authentic to the core (both owner and cafe) will be going back as soon as I can.
Best coffee omgg
I don t know much about coffee and the person who works there took his time, explaining the difference between each type. He s passionate about his product and it really shines through to the customer. I ended up with an amazing cappuccino and a little bit of education! I highly recommend a visit to this shop.
Sean is the kindest, friendliest and the most amazing host of this small cafe. With cute decor on the inside and the window display to The amazing coffee! He is always shows genuine interest in his customers and will always remember your usuals :)
Fantastic
I visited this place for the first time a few days ago, and have to give this an EASY 5 stars. Coffee was incredible. Also, the owner treated me with such kindness it left an impression. I enjoyed chatting with him about coffee, and coffee culture in other countries this guy is a true connoisseur. If you re looking for something real, this is the place.
Lovely little shop just west of the Aleyards. Excellent staff and delicious coffee
Coffee lovers delight.....definetly not a starcucks.....coffee made to order, lots of different grinds, coffee types (not sytups)....great job
Cappuccino tastes great! Would love to come back to try the other varieties! Friendly service from the owner. :) Thank you!
The best spot in the 6ix to get coffee hands down! Sean is an artist and his love for his craft is evident in the cup!
Great little cafe with amazing coffee
really good coffee
Cute little shop, friendly and professional service, and an absolutely stellar cup of coffee. This is the kind of place you really can look forward to visiting.
Great experience here. Barista was super friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. Refreshing to have a coffee shop with delicious coffee and a real barista who knows what they re doing. Keep it up!
Nice coffee!
Great coffee and friendly environment!
Amazing little gem, that produces ridiculously good coffee. Barista is extremely well versed about coffee and has lots of passion for the product being made. Really good food too but the coffee really is unlike any other !
Very good coffee! Cool vibe and knowledgeable owner.
Best cafe, espresso in the neighborhood Sandwich so good and big a real lunch
Bring your own container if you want some fresh beans to go. Super friendly staff, thanks for the recommendations for my espresso and pour over.
Best coffee shop in Toronto. Super friendly owner and the shop is very clean and eye-catching. Would highly recommend!
Quality coffee, yummy treats, and the friendliest owner. Im always greeted by name and feel like a cherished customer. Not only is it the best coffee in the area, it feels great to support local. Highly recommend!
Definitely my new mainstay coffee place for as many times as I can go throughout the week Sean is a kind, inviting, and knowledgeable person and is a great fixture in the community Just such great coffee (and food)
Great coffee and lunch at this boutique cafe. Highly recommended for any coffee aficionado.
Excellent cappuccino and very friendly service! I usually get the Colombian roast, but they have many different roasts available each day. They also have fresh baked goods (breakfast cookies, pastries, etc.) and sandwiches everyday. It s a small shop, but they have great coffee, food, and service!
Amazing quality and great service.
Simply the best coffee. Coffee beans from all over the world
One the best espressos Ive had in Toronto. Owner is super knowledgeable and gave me a great recommendation. Prices are more than reasonable, especially for Toronto.
Hands down the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Anywhere in the world that I have ever been... Highly recommended!
A Gem in the heart of a changing neighborhood. Great coffee and a very knowledgeable barista. Fast curbside service with a cool seating area outside.
Outstanding coffee, lattes and baked goods. Great service. Support local.
Favourite local coffee shop! Great coffee and excellent service!
Fantastic coffee and food! 10/10 highly reccomend. Very knowledgeable and friendly owner!
Doesnt look like much on the outside, but this guy clearly knows what hes doing. You can choose from among several kinds of beans according to your preference. Go for a lighter roast; its good coffee, so why not get to taste it rather than the roast? I had an essentially perfect cortado here. Highly recommend.
Great coffee and atmosphere, there is a cute patio as well where you can enjoy your delicious food and beverages. Sean the owner is very approachable and knowledgable about what he serves. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by and give The Stockyards Grind a try!
Came here with my wife and absolutely loved the place. The cafe feels very cozy and welcoming. Definitely will come back the next time I have a chance!
Owner prides himself on what he delivers to those that enter his place of craft. Just what the neighbourhood needed for a cozy get together between two friends or a place to escape for a bit
absolutely loved it here! The owner is very kind, the place is super cozy, and the ice cream is to die for! if I could give 10 stars I would!
Absolutely love this place. There is a great selection of items on the menu; something for everyone to enjoy. The owner is also easy to approach, for he is super friendly. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. 100% great
Finally someone in the stockyards that truly takes coffee seriously. Great food too. Gonna hit this place on the regular.
If you re looking for the best cup of java in the junction area please come by this friendly neighborhood place! You won t regret it!
Great coffee and a cozy vibe- its good to get a non-chain coffee shop in the area. The owner clearly cares about the craft of coffee making, and it shows in the quality of the coffee served. Will gladly be returning!
Excellent coffee, friendly place. My husband and I were delighted to find it! Its tiny, but theres still room to sit and have a coffee with a friend comfortably, and the size makes it easy to chat with the owner, who is very friendly and passionate about good coffee. This neighborhood really needed a local coffee shop, and there is a nice feeling of community between customers. I look forward to returning.
Absolutely amazing, must try!
Found this new little spot that recently opened its doors. Really impressed about the taste of the coffe and cappuccino we had that was just perfect and also the icecreams we got were definitely something you sure cant forget.
Sean was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even took his time after closing, educating me on different types of coffee, espressos and machines. Nice atmosphere, professional equipment. Overall great experience.
If you love good espresso this is the place to get a shot or two. Its refreshing to see someone who knows and loves the craft of making a great espresso. The decor is great and the vintage machines are a pleasure to see in action.
Nice and cozy. On top of that he makes a Really good cappuccino, very euro bro. Worth a visit, gluten free and dairy free options available. One .
Best coffee ever!
Best barista in the GTA! Coffee is exceptional at a reasonable price and the food is delicious....great vibe and relaxing atmosphere.
Great coffee and conversation. We will be back next time were in the city!
Amazing coffee!!! Best cappuccino/cortado I ve had in the city! Owner is super friendly and very knowledgeable about coffee! Super cute & cozy with an adorable vibe!! Will definitely be going back!!!
Inviting environment and supper customer excellence. My son and I had quality latte and espresso machiato and found it to be better than European lattes. I wish it has bigger space to accommodate more customer. Thanks.
A nice small place. Awesome espresso
Such a great addition to the neighborhood. I ve only been for coffee once, but I plan on visiting more often and trying some of their eats. It s a beautiful space and it was recently featured on BlogTO. Great job, guys! West End Rising! :-)
My partner and myself work down the street and love this coffee shop. Definitely the best in the neighborhood. A nice warmly run spot for friends or family with great beans. My favourite thing is the owner will sell you beans if you bring your own container! We have been reducing our waste and the fact that this is the only option is great. Hopefully more coffee shops start doing this! And great prices on beans! Thank you so much.
fabulous coffee knowledge, great latte
