I will NEVER go to this location again. The first time I ordered delivery and EVERYTHING was cold!!!! The second time I went in to the restaurant. My app said there was an issue and to go to the front counter. I went to the counter and was told to try and order with self service. By then there was quite a long line. I left without ordering anything as I was extremely frustrated. This location is terrible!!
This McDonald’s looks better inside than from the outside. It’s quite small, so you probably won’t stay long since seating is limited, but you’ll definitely get a meal. Everything tasted fine, and the food was ready quickly. It’s ideal for mobile orders if you’re in a hurry.
I am here often. I live upstairs. The fires are never fresh here. Not once. Not even if you only order fries. Cold even when warm. Try for yourself and see. I hate that this place has so much of my money 😂 where are my fries? Update: I believe the owner came out and helped me with the order himself. Fresh fries and fresh burger. I had an extremely disappointing experience at McDonald's Store #25002, located at 20 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, ON M4P 1A9, on October 16, 2024, around 11:27 PM. As an Uber Eats delivery partner, I arrived to pick up an order and rang the bell for assistance. Unfortunately, the employee named Bibek responded with verbal abuse, shouting "Get Lost!" at me in a vulgar and disrespectful manner. His lack of customer service skills made me feel unsafe, and I was forced to cancel the order due to the distressing situation. I had also intended to place a personal order but had to wait an unreasonable amount of time, as Bibek ignored me and left the counter upon seeing me. This incident not only caused emotional distress but also led to financial losses for me. I hope the management takes this matter seriously and addresses the behavior of this employee to ensure that no other delivery partners or customers have to endure such treatment in the future.
Despite living 10 minutes away, my order took 1 hour to arrive. The food was cold, and the "large" fries were barely half-filled. I also received just a knife for my poutine. Maybe they were out of forks, or maybe staff here just can't be bothered to do it right.
This location has gotten my food order incorrect multiple times now. Don't leave the store without checking your order first!! I got all the way home and realized my order wasn't right. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle and they gave me just a sausage in between two pieces of mcgriddle.
I order a Happy meal, (for my kid)and the burger come with sticker on the cheese, I went back and instead of make a fresh new happy meal and offer something else for the inconvenience to walk all the way back to McDonald's for this they just gave me a plain burger. They didn't even make a fresh new happy meal, It appears that the cost of the new happy meal was going to came out of the managers paycheck, the guy in charge of this location need to much to learn. This is my worst experience from McDonald s. I ordered a wrap and ask them to make it fresh and without Tomatoes. They didn t listen to the instructions properly. The wrap was too cold. Chicken was not freshly cooked. The wrap had tomatoes in it as I specifically asked for no tomatoes. I would just to shut down the place. I would never visit this location ever again in my life.. There are no napkins and ketchup in the bag too. The customer service is very disappointing.

Consistently mess up order, long wait times, incredibly long lineups, flies roaming around the restaurant especially going into the kitchen, kiosk sometimes broken, and on top that an old, unhygienic lady often camps in front of the restaurant.

What the hell was the point of getting a large fry
Ordered 1 big arch today and only gave me 1 meat patty. So disappointed.
Food preparation seems rushed. The chilli sauce was only on one side of the wrap sandwich rather than mixed. It wasnt as nice as I experienced in other Mcdonald restaurants.
Everything is too expensive n out of my budget without a discount coupon.
Kids working inside are greeting each other high-fiving while I wait for a cup of coffee for 15 minutes with 8 other people waiting for their food. They are nicer to homeless people than customers for some reason.

I ordered a large fries and asked for some ketchup. An older, thin south asian staff gave me three packets. When I asked for more, he responded sarcastically, Why dont I just give you 15 or 16 bags? and then walked away. I was in a hurry to get somewhere else, but his behavior ruined my mood. I won t return to this restaurant.

Every time I have ordered from this location, I am missing items. So today, I thought to ask the uber delivery person to be so kind and confirm my order is correct before bringing it to me. Uber app says big mac,buy 1 get 1 free, (screenshots for proof) I ordered 2 and a qtr pounder meal. Expecting 4 big macs since I bought 2. Uber person says he did not check, not his job. I look myself, I am missing 2 big macs. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. She kept repeating my order to me and failed to understand how I am missing 2 big macs. She even agreed that there is a deal on the uber app but was not clear in her explanation why I am not getting 4 big macs total. We go in circles for about 8 min. She asks for my number and says she will speak with uber and call me back. 40mins later, some corporate restaurant services person, if I am not mistaken, calls me. Very scripted and had zero sense of how to give customer service herself as she had no intention of making things better or getting me my food. This person had no clue about the big mac deal and phrased my order to be 2 big macs and a qtr pounder meal. I carefully explained while she barely listened, only for her to say I need to speak with the uber customer service as this is not the fault of Mcdonalds. Which I replied something to the effect of, amazing world we live in, we tip before recieving service only to not recieve anything worthy of a tip and when something goes wrong, nobody is accountable and passes blame. What ever happened to the customer is always right? What happened to customer service in general? Wait... theres more. Of course I reported this on uber eats and went through the channels to get a refund. I also revised my 15% tip for the delivery person and adjusted to $0. So I got my refund of $10 bucks and the tip corrected back into my account. Only to find, about 40mins after, $6.40 was taken from my account. Uber took the tip I took back due to bad service which would have saved all this headache and gave it to the delivery guy. Lmao wow... imagine physically seeing this happen in a reataurant. They put their hands in my pocket, stole my money, ripped me off and gave an unworthy tip to the driver. EVERYONE FAILED ON THIS ONE. Funny part was, when I was talking to the corporate person, the point she made was that nobody at Mcdonalds knew of the buy 1 get 1 deal in their menu. It is on the uber eats menu however. I mentioned how nobody could check this? Nobody thought to look on their phone and confirm I am not lying? Only for the corporate call to end abruptly as she hung up on me and did not resolve a thing. Great job everyone involved, truly... well done. What is wrong with the world we live in. I recently had a deeply upsetting experience at a McDonalds location where a Nepalese employee made a disgustingly personal and offensive comment about my friends name. There is a major problem with homeless people sitting inside and stinking the entire place. Basic hygiene is missing in a food prep environment.

First of all I dont like complaining cause Im a restaurant Manager myself and I know how it gets in a restaurant, but with my experienced I had in this place at 9am this morning I have too. I had the worse customer service from this cashier, I was in front of her for good 1min and she never look up cause shes was busy drawing on a napkins. I approach her and say can I order and she answered yes but the way she looked at me is like I disturbed her from her drawing. She never paid attention to any customer nor offer to help any of the customer to take there order when it was really busy. She has a very rude way to answer and the looks that can kill a customer, very unprofessional, she couldve at least pretend to be nice.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the McDonalds branch on Yong & Eglinton. Despite placing a curbside order, not only my order was not ready after 20 minutes, but I ended up having to go in and pick it up myself. The food quality was subpar, with greasy and artificial-tasting items, and the staff showed a complete lack of attentiveness and enthusiasm. Overall, my experience at this branch was terrible, and I definitely wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
The biggest problem with this location is the homeless people or people not ordering they let sit in here. Its a place to buy food but with some of the people sitting in there that smell horrible just like this morning. They made the location extremely small also so those people sitting down are right next to you so it just turns your whole stomach around with the bad smells. If the employees are too scared to say anything then hire security. Also when ordering coffee/tea, it always comes leaking down the side. Please clean your cups when spilling drinks on the cup
The food was up to code i ll give them that. But they forgot to give a couple items, the restaurant smelt absolutely terrible when i walked so many people were covering their noses in disgust. They tried to fix it with air freshener which made me feel nauseous and sick. Their service was slow the staff kept giving me looks for some unknown reason. Terrible experience overall.

Used the washroom which wasnt clean. Service was slow even it wasnt busy. Tea was great but muffin was cold and was old as it was hard like rock. Will never ever to come that McDonalds.

There is a little brown dude that works the cash, honestly every single time I order from him he has trouble understanding basic things, makes things way too complicated, and my order is still 90% of the time wrong. We need to stop ordering from this place when he is working. He really just does not get, you ask to sub milk and you get extra cream. You ask for a mcchicken you get a Mc crispy, you ask for sauce on the side it s on the burger. Just tell the little guy to just make us whatever he feels like from now on rather than wasting time and ordering.
While the renovation made the restaurant look nicer, there literally 1 table to eat at and 3 stools and a bar table, thats it. Staff are all in the kitchen which is down a hallway now and barely come out unless they have to give someone an order. Wont be going back.

I finally called to address with management after dealing with it through the app,and the manager said that the staff person claimed they included the items, so I guess it s case closed lol. There are problems where I see the delivery service personnel. The atmosphere is not good, it has a very depressing atmosphere, it looks small inside. I cant say anything about the food because I didnt eat anything. However, the staff seems inadequate because they are not good at fulfilling orders.

I did takeout for a late night snack and I ordered a quarter pounder and a medium Coke I ordered the food and waited for less than 10 minutes the place seemed kinda empty I payed and got the food and the burger was only there no drink at all. This time I went to pickup an order and the old man at the front counter asked if I needed help and I gestured while flashing the order on my phone that I just ordered outside the door. As I waited with the other souls for our orders, he shouted various order numbers and none were my number as he had 3 digit syllables and my number had 4. I was going by syllables because it was extremely difficult to understand him. Eventually, I asked if any were my order and it was there and he said he called it and I said it s hard to understand him and he replied no worries . Huh? Am I missing something? Please have staff that speak more clearly call our order numbers because I cannot be the only one who has difficulties understanding what he s saying. At least make order numbers that are ready flash on the screen if an employee that speaks clearly can t be calling out orders.

Great place for food and service
I was starving to death and went there to takeout 2 combos- I came home to eat them and realized one of the combo was missing- I had to go there again and told them it was missing. The woman at the cashier was screaming omgggg and went back to get my missing item. She was so rude like its my fault. She is the one who works on sunday 12:50ish pm. No apologies just being so rude. I dont think mcdonals taught them enough or at all what customer service is.

I am OK with the new layout, there is much less dining space than before, but it is a very small space to work with and they have optimized it for takeout order with seems reasonable to me near Yonge and Eg - you can always take your order to the food court at the mall in the North West corner of Yonge and Eg.
