Very fresh and tasty food in Commerce Food Court. Got the jerk chicken with broccoli and Kale caesar salad and very much enjoyed it. Fair prices and portion and a great option for lunch if your in the area!
Best value & quality of food in the path. Great selection and always taste amazing. They make ordering simple and service/staff is top notch.
Please survive long and prosper! My new go-to restaurant. I have just started working in this building and I have never been to any other place for lunch. Decent prices, good quality food. The only issue (?) here is the wait. But the staff are skilled enough to make an otherwise 20-minute wait an easy 5-minute one.
I love Pantry and have tried almost all their locations but THIS ONE is amazing. The food at Pantry never disappoints. In fact, the macaroni and sweet potato mash are some of my favorite dishes ever!! The customer service at this location is what makes the Commerce Court Pantry so special. When I'm not going to get a snack/meal for myself, I am usually going to pick up larger orders of catering for my office. The staff are so accommodating with preparing orders last minute, having everything ready to go upon our arrival, ensuring that we have a comfortable way to transport the food to our office and of course, soo friendly and fun I wish I could chat with them all day. Would recommend pantry 100000% but come to this location for an amazing experience!
Update: Nov 6 2024: I've been to Pantry in Commerce Court a few times recently and they are focussing on good whole foods. The chicken shwarma I had today was great, very tasty! The kale caesar with added chick peas was great too! I'll keep coming back. My experience in Dec 2023 below was clearly an anomoly but I don't believe in censorship so I'm leaving it below (lest we begin to scrub our real history :) "I can see I've picked up food from this location quite a few times. Normally the food is great! Unfortunately, today the food was cold. Is Thursday before the Christmas holiday time to turn off the gas and serve cold food? Also, I've had the chicken shawarma here before and it was good! Today it just tasted like roast chicken with a bit of seasoning and it was cold! WTH?"
Absolutly love the Pantry at Commerce Court! Whenever I visit, its like I'm 'Feeling Good' all over again. Service, well it's a 'Beautiful Day' all the time, friendly and warm. Let's talk eats – the Caprese Quinoa, it's a culinary 'Haven't Met You Yet,' but once you try, wow!. The Truffle Mac and Cheese? A big seller, and rightly so hitting all the right notes! Don't get me started on the Dan Dan Broccoli – 'Everything,' yes, everything you need in a delicious side dish. Each bite, a symphony of flavors that's simply heavenly. I highly recommend giving The Pantry at Commerce Court a try👍
Beer braised pork belly is great, so as the kale and beet salad. The dan dan broccoli is a cold salad with pickled green beans and radish. It is more expensive to order on Ritual.
Great place for a quick and delicious lunch. Several options to chose from (beef, chicken, fish). They also have a plethora of sides.
tried and true lunch spot
Awesome food, good customer service, sides were awesome.
Food was amazing! Tons of meat options and a bunch of sides would definitely recommend!
Beer braised pork belly and ricotta meatballs are amazing.
Good vegan options
The portions are small
Amazing food
I love the food here and the the employees are always so pleasant 5starss
Perfect for lunch!! A great healthy option that makes you very full. I always go for a pesto chicken parmesan with some kale caesar and potatoes.
Order ahead of time. Popular place!
Fresh ingredients
Love the food here. You can tell that they use high quality ingredients in all their dishes. Taking 1 star off and requesting the franchise to make the soba noodle salad soba again. Replacing the soba noodles by regular noodles and calling still calling it soba noodle salad wont do it for me. Please bring it back Edit - they brought back the buck wheat noodles. 5/5 thank you very much !
Good place
Amazing food and outstanding service by Siddharth, for my order. Got tofu which was warm and soft and some fresh kale.
I paid 5 bucks for just a bun with tomato and lettuce and nothing
One of the best restaurant in the PATH with great quality and numerous variety.
Awesome! Food is so good! Love it
Had catering from this place for a holiday lunch at work and I really liked the taste of everything so returned for lunch. Got the piri piri chicken, Mac and cheese, and caprese quinoa, everything was fresh and really tasty, I find it tastier than majority of the places around the PATH. The only thing I felt a little discouraged by is that 1 protein 2 sides was $17 after tax, and I wasn t even full afterwards . The price is a little steep.
Got the 3 sides option and it was delicious!! Recommend to order ahead through Ritual since the line ups are usually crazy at lunch!
One of the popular lunch spots at Commerce Court, Pantry offers build your own combo meals using freshly made dishes with a focus on healthier selections. The items offered include many vegan friendly options, and the portion sizes are decent. They also offer a number of gluten free options for both proteins and vegetables. Drawback is that the combos can be a bit pricey but is generally in line or cheaper than other options in the Financial District. There is also an option to order online and pick up.
Wasnt too bad but defiantly not worth the long line up, as there are better option out there. I had the meatballs which was alright nothing special and same for the rice and potatoes salad. I would say this place is average.
This place used to be excellent, but over time the quality has gone down, and now it s more run-of-the mill. First they increased prices substantially, and over the past few months they have slowly been removing many of the better ingredients (such as wild mushrooms, some of the chicken choices etc.). Its hard to keep a great thing going 3/5.
Ahhh the only reason this place gets away with NOT having a vegetarian protein is that their sides are so damn good! The mac and cheese + kale beet salad combo is a special one for me, and I will keep coming back for it. So delicious!
Salmon was a bit dry and portion not as good as the rosedale location. Truffle Mac and cheese delicious
Bad food and terrible customer service. The staff pretend they can t hear you when you ask them questions.
It says on Google that it closes at 6pm and walked so far to it with my 2 month old in her stroller made it there at 4pm to find the place close, very disappointing
Best place to grab lunch in the PATH. Healthy, reasonable, and always welcomed with a beautiful greeting from Shannon and Amy. Beau keep cooking up bomb dishes in the kitchen!!
No.1 in Homestyle, gourmet cooking. Lots to choose from. Delicious
Only qualm is the food is way too salty
Very good food, everything here is well done.
Piri piri chicken was fresh, cooked perfectly and served hot
2/3 of a salad for 11.98 for the price of a full - meagre portions - rarely give out 1 star ratings not a good show pantry !
Downgrade due to smaller container with the same price levels, representing a 33% reduction. Will not repeat
Love this concept and the brand. Super fresh and vibrant food. Always fresh and always delicious. Well done to the chefs that cook and put up this beautiful window!!!
Delicious food options and outstanding customer service. Shannon, the manager leads by great example.
This locations food used to be great. Most recently, at least the last 5 times that Ive visited in the last 2 months, the food has really not been it. The chicken burger used to be juicy and flavourful, now its hard, dry and tasteless. Same with the roasted sweet potato - theyre hard and under cooked. Lastly, my favourite item on their menu is the kale ceasar .... theyve cut out the ceasar seems like and its just bland. I keep going back to give them another try, hoping thats its just temporary but its not what it used to be.
This place always has a huge line up during lunch time! Loved the kale salad and truffle mac and cheese.
DELICIOUS! see pics
Honestly, I could eat here everyday and sometimes I do. lol My guilty pleasures are the truffle mac and cheese and egg fried rice. The mixed mushrooms, dan dan broccoli, middle eastern salad and kale + beet salad are all awesome. Kale caesar is good but can be a little too salty at times. Tokyo slaw and tahini cauliflower are misses. Ive probably tried all of the vegetarian sides by this point and usually stick with my favs.
business friendly
Clean and organized store. Friendly staff. Quick check-out
I walk through here to get to Union Station. Thats all lol
The Seafood booth here is a must try
Good food court and easy access to union station and cibc bank. Bit crowded at lunch time..
The PATH is awesome! When snowstorms, or rainstorms hit. Taking the PATH to many downtown locations is a must!
Its an interesting place to see with a large variety if retail stores.
opening monday
Now open! Always looking for interesting eats in the Financial District and Pantry did not disappoint! Wide selection of protein and sides, everything looked so fresh and deee-lish! I had the 1-protein 2-sides option: grilled salmon with the Kale Caesar and Middle Eastern Salad. Everything was bright, tasty and fresh so many different combinations, something for everyone. Cant wait to come back and try more of the options!
The one positive is that there is a large selection. I got combo 1 (1 protein and 2 sides) for ~$14 (incl taxes) and it came with one piece of piri piri chicken and a scoop of each side. The chicken was dry but the sides were pretty tasty. Overall, not worth the price youre paying for a small amount of mediocre food.
20 bucks for lunch, tried mac and cheese and wasnt very good
Great Australian Worker there :-) Hero the Kale Caesar
Nice place to take fresh air during lunch time
I tried peri peri chicken with some salad and veggies. It was about $15. I went there when I was in the way to union station. It was amazing to try different, healthy and tasty food here. I will try next time soon with different options. I liked the customer service too. Good job guys!
Peaceful
Best breakfast around this area Choice of bacon and chicken patty ( or both ) Roasted sweet potatoes Choice of two Options for omelette And greens to top it off Even better service what a great team !!!
The Path is a huge network 2 floors underground that connects shops and houses over a distance of 30 km. Extremely interesting, but it is very difficult to find the right path. Its a city-sized labyrinth Thank God there are maps that make it easier, but even with that its hard enough to get where you want to go
Directions and signs were not the best, but it seemed like something more so for locals despite how the internet made it seem.
Enjoy my visit
Gets you where you need to go
Loved all the stores and great places to grab a coffee or dine! Best part was getting to where I needed to go without having to walk outside. Was safe too...lots of security and people to ask directions.
Toronto underground life
I love Commerce Court
Good! It has everything!
From Commerce Court is is a short walk to Union Station or even to the Eaton Center. If it is your first time walking THE PATH bring a friend who knows the way.
I was at the path this morning and taking some photos. Security came and stopped me and told me to delete all photos from my camera. That is not the way to treat tourists, especially when you advertise the Path as a tourist attraction. Very disappointing
