Excruciatingly slow, no sense of urgency. A dozen kitchen staff running around yet cannot fill basic orders, or, more importantly, communicate with customers the expected wait, and offer an apology. Awful, indifferent service.
Something you don’t want when in a fast food joint or anywhere really is someone hacking up a lung while handling food. Constantly. I was there for around 45 minutes and it would not stop. That mask around his chin would have been better off in the trash with the way it was neglected. So many reviews mention people getting sick from this place and it’s not hard to see how. If this is what happens on the floor, one can only guess what happens in the back. Disgusting. It’s a shame because I really liked this location but the staff must have changed because it’s not the same as it used to be.

Rancid. Disgusting. Every food item we got tasted like it has been cooked in rancid oil. I regret eating any of it, and the flavour is still coating my mouth hours later. The salad tasted like it hasn’t been properly refrigerated. I regret wasting money on this overpriced inedible garbage. I hope Toronto Public Health shuts this location down because there’s no way they’re following proper procedures when their food comes out like this. Truly disgusting. I still want to throw up. It was so bad. All of it. Disgusting. I used to eat here regularly when I worked in the area, and the food was consistently fine. Clearly the management these day doesn’t care at all. This location should be shut down. Maybe it should be declared a biohazard site and the government should burn it to the ground, then get an exorcist to cleanse the site. It’s so bad.
Stay far away from here. Used to be a good Wendy's. No syrup in the soda. No receipts, guy literally told me 'you need receipt just go?'. No utensils. Chili was all water. Cold chicken. Just horrible service and didn't care that the service was horrible.
I recently tried the Frosty-ccino at Wendy’s and was very disappointed. The original Frosty was developed by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas in 1969 to be a unique dessert that was thicker than a milkshake but not quite ice cream, requiring a spoon to enjoy. Thomas wanted a dessert that mimicked the extremely thick milkshakes he loved as a kid, served at a temperature that maintained its distinctive texture and creamy consistency. The Frosty-ccino fails to align with these goals in several ways: 1. Consistency and Texture: The Frosty-ccino is thin and watery, more like a regular iced coffee, completely missing the thick, spoonable texture of the original Frosty. 2. Appearance: The drink looks like a typical iced coffee rather than the rich, creamy appearance of a Frosty. 3. Experience: The Frosty-ccino lacks the special, nostalgic experience of enjoying a Frosty with its unique texture and creamy consistency. Drive-through Customer Service was considerably terrible this evening. My sandwiches were made all messed up. By far the skinniest baconator, definitely intentional. Bacon wasn’t even cooked! One star for location.
So I ordered online for the second time at a Wendy's and then picked up my selection going through the drive-thru. (My first time was yesterday at a different Wendy's location in Vaughn) The online ordering was fantastic allowing me to customize my item. Removing the bun from my cheeseburger automatically adjusted the calorie content, the ingredients list, and the allergens that were remaining after my customization. This information is super helpful to people with dietary restrictions for weight loss or allergies. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. My only disappointment was with the presentation. A hamburger without the bun needs to be served in a bowl, a box, or on a platter with a knife and fork. A very small inconvenience for an otherwise perfect experience. (I had the same problem with the paper wrapper in Vaughn yesterday as well).

Recently went thru drive thru, the Indian lady wanted me to back up in the drive thru because my card did not successfully tap at the first window. The other indian lady at the second window goes sir i have no cash!! I said hello mame this is a visa tap card, where s your debit machiene, im not paying with cash. she said what your wanting me to do? I have no cash! Im like its 2024, and your second windown doesn t have a debit terminal (which i know is a lie) the 2 indian ladies just wanted me to go around which is so stupid. They cannot comprehend english. And its worse than ever trying to get thru to them about the basics on ordering a simple damn meal.

I dont know what is up lately with these new staff members down there but they are rude and you have to check your order everytime to make sure your order is all there and also you get what you paid for. Example how the hell I order a poutine and just get fries with cheese and no dang gravy?? They literally put a teaspoon right in the middle of the poutine!! Then after you show and ask for more gravy they roll their eyes and give attitude to you. The old team there was great friendly made sure your food was good, all there and satisfied. These new workers need to step up on their customer service and food performance.

I went there today , bought a small coffee from drive through, didnt check the amount at that time, went home and the asian lady charged by 13.88$ for a small coffee, how careless someone can be, extremely disappointed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ve never had an issue with any other Wendy s locations or their food; this location, however, made me extremely ill. I ordered one of their newer products (cinnamon pull aparts) and after chewing for about 3 mins straight, the food straight up turned into a raw dough (similar to pizza dough). I went to complain and one of their employees (some short middle aged lady with grey hair) told me that it was naturally doughy . Naturally doughy to the point where it made me sick? Actual desserts are a softer consistency, so I know for a fact that woman gave me a B.S. response and doesn t know what she is doing. This location either needs better customer service or should be shut down.
I used to think fast food places are all the same in quality. Just differs in staff. This location has terrible food. The burgers and fries appeared to be manhandled. The burgers are always smashed and lop sided. I tend to get stomach issues after eating here. The staff are new, there is one lady who appears to be the manager or senior staff who constantly has to push and yell at the back staff. She appears to be frustrated with the kitchen staff as they are very slow with the orders. I would not be returning to this location for Wendys.

Went to drive thru. Tim Hortons drive thru is right beside Wendys. I paid attention, Tim Hortons took 9 customer order, whereas, Wendys had only 2 car, of which I was one and ot took for ever. Once I got my order, tea was cold, sandwich had more sauce than the actual food.
When we feel like a burger this never disappoints. I usually order combo 1. Every bite was so delicious. That I always end up ordering another burger. And you can not go wrong with the spicy chicken sandwich. Ok Im hungry again.

Female Manager/supervisor was rude to me and her staff, she missed my drink order and instead of a combo, she charged me for my sandwich and fires separately. It s okay that you miss the drink, but it s not okay that you questioned me and said no body in this store can hear my drink order, when I specifically said medium size Diet Coke. Saw her yelling at her staff too, why would she be mad at someone else while she was the one who took my order? I hope she humble herself and treat the staff and customers with some basic respect. i visited this Wendys location recently to try their food for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I opted for the drive-thru to place my order, but the order taker lack basic communication skills and rushed through taking my order, struggling to understand me. Upon reaching the counter to pay, I encountered the manager was shockingly rude. Her unprofessional behaviour made us felt like she needs training in handling customer interactions. Also. the quality of the food was disappointing. The nuggets I ordered were cold and chewy, which resulted in bad quality control. my experience at this location was disappointing.

Placed my order for myself and 2 daughters in the drive thru after a few attempts to have the server understand me. Got to the window to pay and receive my order. I was asked to move as they would take a couple minutes to prepare my order. After a total of 13 more minutes, the order arrived. Well part of the order, they forgot the drinks. I asked them to get my drinks and they took another couple of minutes. When the drinks arrived the order was wrong. Once that issue was resolved, we went home to devour the food. Unfortunately, when we got home, the sandwiches were wrong and one of the fries was the wrong size. Hopped back into the car and headed back to Wendys to get the order fixed. My fries were unsalted, the burger was just slapped together. Hardly appetizing. Not a very competent staff. Once would think that with the computer ordering system, the multitude of screens that show the order, they could get it right. This is not my first negative experience with this location. Unfortunately, I could not complain to their online site as once again they forgot to give me the bill. Although, I was told it was in the bottom of the bag. This Wendys location make the local McDonalds look competent when it comes to service.
This place is an absolute joke! After waiting in line for what felt like an hour with one car ahead of me all the staff are in there playing games and not serving anybody. Absolutely disgusting I didn t even take my order. I just drove right through. I ll never return to this dumb again.
There was no one at the counter when I arrived for breakfast around 8:30 am. Theres no choice that has a breakfast sandwich without pig meat. The young fellow serving me had to ask someone what to do. They put a piece of cheese in the sandwich after it had been heated. They wont get my business again.

The customer service has always been shotty here at this Wendys but now its just plain ridiculous. The gentlemen that takes drive thru order clearly doesnt want to be there and it is very apparent. My order was missing the mushroom melt which was misplaced twice, gave me a second chicken sandwich for the missed sandwich, thankfully I checked. Order came with 0 napkins and I couldnt eat my croutonless caesar salad as I didnt get a fork. Lastly the Mushroom Melt isnt what it used to be, used to love them but this time it was very unsatisfying.

Its the only drive-through where I can anticipate genuine people. From the opening greeting to the calm authentic smile upon paying the staff there are happy and appreciative of your business.
I typically dont complain or write reviews because I understand the operations of the fast food industry working in it for a decade but this has got to be one of the worst Wendys ever, which has only recently had a massive decline in service. To start things off, the order accuracy is about 50% correct whenever I come here, doesnt matter what time of the day it is. It also doesnt matter if you place a mobile order and all the employees have to do is read the screen, somehow itll still be wrong. My worst case scenario is when I had to go back, explain to them what was wrong, and they still managed to give me the wrong order the second time! Even just today alone, I ordered food and was charged for an item I did not receive, which didnt surprise me at all. Secondly, wait times are horrendous. I think my longest time spent in the drive thru was about 25mins, and no that is not an exaggeration because ive been so aggravated that I started timing how long it takes. I cant even begin to understand how fast food can take the same amount of time to prepare as a fresh cooked meal from a proper restaurant or even longer than that! Before I continue ranting about all the other issues that happen at this Wendys, if I had to say anything, I would say try to avoid this location as much as possible. If you genuinely have a craving for Wendys, I would make sure to always double check your food before you leave the restaurant.

Worst Wendys weve ever been to in Canada. Burgers put together sloppily and always a little too greasy. Never have vanilla frosties. Breakfast baconator never has enough sauce on it and the bacon is always too crispy.
Too messy and dirty washrooms
Food was good but this is easily the filthiest fast food restaurant in the city. Tables and chairs were covered in food and garbage. Garbage on the floors which looked they had not been mopped in days. Overflowing urinals in the washroom. Even the counter where they handed us our food was dirty. Could see more spilled food behind the counter. Staff needs to clean up after themselves and the dining room.
Food is great, employees are excellent, and everything was done quickly. No issues with this place, especially for the price you pay.

Drive-through was awful. Neither the people taking the order or the people giving the order knew what they were doing. asked us to pull up and they would bring the order out, we waited 20 minutes for one meal and an extra drink. There was a huge line up at the window when we finally got our food.

Very Rude night shift people!!! I was waiting in drive thru and was listening to the delivery person and the lady just shouted at him when in fact he was polite and stated everything properly to her. And how come Wendy s is not opening their doors for food deliverer? Because it s quite confusing and cause complications to the customer lining in the drive thru at the same time they have to line up as well. I ve seen McDonalds has more proper way of order when it comes to this, they have windows with buzzer or they open their shop only for food deliverer so it won t affect the customers in drive thru during the night. You have to fix this Wendy s!!! And also I hate your packaging!!! One time I ordered in Uber and they accidentally spill my drinks and I wonder why? and when I saw the food deliverer the way they pack the orders was insane!!! No wonder it was spilled! Terrible location. The customer service was horrible and the lady (I m assuming shift manager?) was extremely rude and disrespectful. Not only is she rude to the customers but she is also rude to the employees. There is constant yelling in foreign languages inside the kitchen and the overall atmosphere was very unpleasant. The food wasn t great either. If I could give this place zero stars I would do it without second thought. This place needs a serious management change.

Had a double baconator combo. It was good, as usual. I personally prefer Wendys burgers best of all the fast food franchises, but it must be said, the fries there arent the best. The burger more than made up for that though. Does anyone else hate plastic straws as much as I do? They need to find a better alternative.
Convenient location after going to the Beaches area or Woodbine Beach. Food and service was great. Only thing is that sometimes there s the odd sketch person coming in/out. Lock up your bikes, cars, and keep an eye. Not really a spot for ambiance. Probably recommend drive thru more than anything. Enjoy!
Place is a little problematic....
Got to the drive thru at 9:30pm on a Thursday, no one else was in line. Was told to pull over and wait for fries. After about 30 mins, they had served at least 6 other people who came after me and I had to go in and get the food myself. Burger was cold and missing ingredients, got the wrong sauce with strips. Evening staff seemed checked out and overwhelmed. Was a total waste of time and money.

There are some workers that are smug and seriously lack customer service skills. They dont even cracks a smile while giving you your food. However, its expected that this location is very busy but never too busy to smile. The folks at Tim Hortons in the same building seem to not have any issues. Driving out of the drive thru is the absolute worst. Talk about poor planning as you need to drive thru the Tim Hortons line. Almost every time I go there someones getting heated for blocking the line or trying to cut thru. Parking: Shared parking lot with Tim Hortons clientèle so can be cramped but turnover is frequent

Wendys delivers quality and Ingredients. My choice of options to have at Wendys is the Daves Double as it tastes amazing with all of the fixings in place. I also enjoy Wendys fries with its awesome sea salt and I do prefer to get my fries in Large. The Chicken Nuggets and Chicken Fingers are really good, which I do prefer to have. It goes great with Sweet & Sweet Plum sauce and BBQ sauce. I also enjoy the $1 Frosty Vanilla Sundae.

Went through drive thru at another location who ran out of cheese...so we ended up here. We were rudely rushed through the order. Ordered cheddar sauce to add onto my cheeseburger, was told okay sure! Fail...they missed my request after saying yes & not sure if its an extra charge either... I asked for less sweet strawberry lemonade and was immediately shut down saying its pre mixed. After some back and forth I asked is it not possible to mix original and strawberry? The girl then said oh half and half? Sure! She wasnt a problem solver and too quick to dimiss an order request. Critical thinking lacks there. When I got my lemonade it was good but no ice! This location was a joke. If all you could do is be kind and courteous, please do that.
Staff ignores you for a few minutes before they take your order & burger was tiny. This used to be a better location but it is now filled with homeless people sleeping inside the restaurant & charging their cell phones location is also dirty. I spoke to an employee who said he would talk to the manager about this problem. Unacceptable, Im not going back. Clean up your act.

kind of short staffed; very slow for a fast food restaurant. The cashier often has to walk away to prepare food instead of taking orders. My lunch is only an hour and I have to spend half an hour waiting in line only. Non fast food restaurants probably won t make you wait that long. You re literally only waiting for your order to be taken, not even the food preparation because the cashier is busy with something else. Fast food restaurant relies on customers to be the ones who eat their food fast. This is unacceptable.

This was my first time at a Wendy s The worst service ever. Today at 3:03pm I picked up a chicken Cesar salade combo and coffee and other things. Service was really friendly but super slow at the drive thru for about ten minutes before placing order and then ten more minutes waiting after order in line. Maybe short staffed but there were two cars ahead of me and three behind. Lady was really nice and but seemed like she was used to the naturally slow pace of the food preparation there and that means management is likely not staffing enough at late night shift. Food was good however otherwise would have been lower stars.

So bad customer service. They don t know how to deal with customers.
The staff are to slow I ve been waiting for 20 mins line up
Fell well short of my admittedly low expectations. Saturday noon, waited 25+ minutes in the drive-through. Spicy chicken sandwich was somehow both soggy and extremely dry at the same time. Fries overcooked and unsalted. Got a straw for my drink but no napkins. Ugh..
Wrong order - asked for large coffee because I needed to be up late, and received an extra large pop which I can t drink.

Got instant food poisoning, and barfed everything out while eating breakfast baconator burger and fries option Parking: There is no way, you can park your car near the restaurant, and not get a ticket
Its Wendys if you dont know what youre getting by now you probably shouldnt be there. Drive thru can be slow at times Parking: its in a parking lot of a Freshco so there is ample free parking
Good cheapish food
The customer service has really gone downhill. I placed my order at the drive through, an east Indian took my order, was very short, lack of friendliness in his voice. When I got my food, it was practically thrown out the window at me, by a young east Indian lady. I wasnt rude to anyone, to deserve this treatment. There used to be such a friendly lady working there, I used to even tip her, shed type in coupons for me. The service is terrible these days.
