TD South Tower, 79 Wellington St W tower 36th floor, Toronto, ON M5K 1J5, Canada
From the 36th floor of the TD South Tower, big city palates are pleasantly surprised by Executive Chef Martha Wright's craft kitchen, which marries both traditional flavours and ingenuity for our loyal Bay St. fan base.
Recently hosted a business lunch at Stratus’ private room. Stunning view of DT Toronto along with professional set up of the room. Event coordinator and serving staff were friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we were well taken of. I would recommend the executive lunch option for larger parties. Menu can also be very accommodating for various dietary needs.
We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at Stratus, and while the setting and service were exceptional, our dining experience fell short. The Positives: First, the view from the 36th floor is stunning, creating an elegant ambiance. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the celebration special. They even decorated the dessert plate and presented a lovely birthday card for my wife, which added a personal touch. The interior lighting and decor were pleasant, though the bright lights near the windows were somewhat distracting; perhaps chosen to enhance the view. The Food: Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the level of service. I ordered the Eggplant Caponata Pave, which was excessively oily and dry—almost as though it had been pre-prepared, stored, and simply reheated with sauce. It was nearly inedible. My wife’s Butternut Squash Farro Risotto was soft and well-cooked but lacked flavor and left us disappointed. For starters, we tried the Steak Tartare Tostada and sweet potato fries. While the tostada was average, the fries were overcooked and partially burnt. Final Thoughts: It’s disappointing that such a fantastic team would serve food that doesn’t live up to their professionalism. We truly appreciated the hospitality, but the quality of the dishes didn’t justify the experience. Thank you to the team for their kindness and attention, but the food definitely needs improvement.
Came here for a group event and want to first point out the atmosphere, view, and services were exceptional. Beautiful city view especially during the sunset and evening. The food, however, was a bit more on the mediocre side. The salad and salmon lacked the flavors I was expecting. The braised short rib, though, was really good. At the start, it was a bit on the bland side, but with a little bit of salt the flavor were significantly elevated. The texture was amazing that it simply melts in your mouth. It was definitely the highlight dish of the evening. The crème brûlée was rather sour, but quickly acquired to be rather tasty. We had an open bar which was great, but the alcohol felt diluted. Overall, great experience and still a wonderful restaurant.
We came here to try their breakfast. Breakfast menu is limited. Nothing fancy. View from the 36th floor was good. It overlooks the harbour facing towards the Toronto Islands. I had the 2 eggs with peameal bacon, home fries and toast combo which were good. Coffee was good with free refills. Price point is on high end for a basic breakfast with no frills. Looking at around $30 with tip for the 2 egg + peameal bacon combo + coffee. Pretty much, you come here for the view :)
Coffee 1/5, breakfast 1/5, atmosphere 4/5, service 3/5. I mean you gotta step up the food, presentation, and at least a good coffee. Great location. I get business vibes, but hear me out, food presentation you get a cheapest diners! 30$ for a breakfast that looks like $5.
This was my first time at Stratus and the experience there was just amazing. I was welcomed by a very friendly hostess, who was delighted to greet us and take us to our table right by the window with a spectacular view of the downtown skyline from the 36th floor. I ordered the salmon tartar, and the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. The salmon was so smooth and silky with flavors that made my taste buds dance. For my main course, I ordered the roast duck which I believe is the best roast duck I’ve ever tasted. The chef in this restaurant clearly knows what they are doing, as everything tasted just wonderful. If you’re looking for a great dining experience in an upscale Cosmopolitan setting with an amazing menu, then I highly recommend Stratus.
Delicious lunch and beautiful place! Had the pleasure of dining here and was pleasantly satisfied with their duck confit. Exactly what you expect - crispy skin, tender meat, perfectly seasoned, and well-paired with the braised purple cabbage. Beautiful dish. Our visit was a business lunch but I’d really like to take my family and friends here. This place offers a very good view of the city as well. Suffice to say, I very much enjoyed the overall dining experience. Worth a visit!
We had our wedding reception at the Stratus restaurant with 45 guests and used the back two rooms of the restaurant. We had the absolute best time of our lives at our wedding. Working with Samantha was very easy and all of her recommendations were very helpful and made the night go so smooth. Having Nicole on the night of the wedding as our coordinator and bartender was perfect. She was extremely friendly and attentive to myself and my husband. They also did an an outstanding job setting up, I gave very little direction but they made my decor look stunning. The service was also amazing. Even during the night I was getting a lot of compliments on the venue, service, food and speeches, etc. Highly recommend!
I have been here for work lunches several times, delicious options, excellent service and beautiful atmosphere!
Outstanding view and mediocre food.// edit if you really care then you can offer to contact me. Honestly the food quality is not above what you can buy in a supermarket, im being serious here. You could do so much better. Its not because you have a view that you should stick to serving way average food at prices that don t match. Id prefer to pay for a $20 gin and tonic and enjoy the view and eat elsewhere.
Excellent food and exceptional friendly service.
Great views and drinks
An excellent pick by one of my colleagues. Thank you!
People go to Stratus for the view from the 36th floor. I wish the food was as good as the view. My duck confit was so overcooked that it became hard to cut and to eat. The service is good and fast.
Great food with a spectacular view. Would highly recommend.
Service was great! Food was mediocre honestly, but not a bad experience.
Surprised by the quality but also the price. More reasonable than expected
Went to Stratus for dinner for my wifes birthday. From making the reservation, to the service, to the food to the view, everything was exceptional! I had made special requests and not only did they meet them, but they went above and beyond. Thank you to the whole team for making my wifes birthday so special. Her and I are very happy. It was an amazing experience and I will recommend this place to all my family and friends. Keep up the GREAT work.
Great evening, just one thing. It was my husbands and daughter Birthday when we went. I called a head to let them know, when we made reservations on line we even said. They seated us, no one asked if we were celebrating anything special. We spent a lot that night.
I had the lamb pasta and some appetizers - it was extremely underwhelming. A bunch of ingredients thrown together on a nice plate that just didn t mesh with eachother. Food also took longer than other places would in the area.
Spectacular view and a menu curated for excellence that delights. I was impressed.
I have gone there a few times for dinner and breakfast. The view is awesome as well as the service. Food is okay
Celebrated a wedding here. The staff were very attentive, the food was phenomenal and the views were spectacular
My husband and I held our wedding reception for ~80 people this past weekend and everything was flawless! Everyone kept complimenting the service, food and wonderful view of the city. Also, it does work out to be quite a bit cheaper to host a wedding reception here compared to other restaurants downtown Toronto. Samantha, the event coordinator, is extremely efficient with her email corresponding. I highly recommend Stratus, especially for a wedding reception! :)
The wait was more than forty minutes. The sweets are limited and served first on the thali . expected that unlimited like other dishes. Service is fast and the items are tasty.
Nice view!
Great view! Good breakfast, what else do you need?
The view from the restaurant was nice, but I think it would be more beautiful on a sunny day or at night. Beautiful decor and very good ambience! Stopped in for brunch. I think the view is better at night.
Top of the Tops! Great view. Very good food. Great Service! Best for having a breakfast Business Meeting !!!!
Very good experience overall. Lovely views. IG:mansafx Food : 4/5
Went here for a holiday lunch with colleagues. Food was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals took awhile to be served but I still enjoyed the experience and atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Youve got to experience it. The only thing is that it shares its restrooms with a gym on the same floor so you get to see things that perhaps you dont want to see when going for a yummy meal.
I went to Stratus for a work lunch and had a great experience. The food and service was good - I had the Tuna Melt - and of course the view was fantastic!
I had my engagement event last weekend and let me tell you! Everything was beyond my expectations, the manager Samantha took her time to answer me concerns and email and scheduled a meeting to make sure my questions are answered, the waitresses on the day of the event were absolutely amazing and very professional. The food was okay as well. I definitely recommend. Thank you very much for your amazing service you made my night extra special
Their penchant for invoking profit maximizing policies to seat you with strangers to appease a last minute private event booking leaves a lot to be desired
Only had a cup of tea with a colleague but the staff were amazing and so was the view.
Beautiful place facing CN towers. You should reserve this place for very special events.
My boyfriend and I visited Stratus last weekend for our 3 year anniversary. We signed up for the Stratus Food & Wine Lab and absolutely loved it. Margot was amazing and very informative!! We will definitely be coming back :)
Good butter chicken, ok Naan but good enough. Really good sweet potatoes fries and good soup. Service was immediate, refills, etc. Best is the atmosphere, casual but classy.
Good food at premium prices. Nice view of the city.
Great service, good atmosphere with a Toronto skyline view. Food was unfortunately a very bland and fell quite flat. Had beef tenderloin omelette which sounds far more impressive than it actually was: an unseasoned plain omelette folded in half with tiny morsels of beef in the middle accompanied by a mixed greens salad with tasteless salad dressing. Another guest ordered the tuna sandwich which looked amazing. Should have asked the waiter for their recommendation.
Stratus is what I would call, a hidden gem in Toronto! Located in the 36th Floor of the TD building , Stratus is an all exclusive restaurant for you to enjoy! The menu at Stratus is a delight as its not very lengthy but has the right amount of options for you to choose. You do have a variety of appetizers, mains and desserts. The staff at Stratus are very pleasant and very down to earth, bringing you joy as they sit you down at your table, which has a view of the city. The view is quite glamorous and shows you the sparkle in the beautiful city of Toronto. The dining room is very big for such a space and depending on the night that you do go, its best to make reservations ahead of time. Its definitely worth it to go check out the restaurant if you have the time and put it on your bucket list!
The place is very good. The ambiance was breathtaking. It s recommended for date nights and staff are very friendly and professional. I would like to recommend the restaurant and definitely worth the money.
We booked the table for our wedding anniversary and host took the note that we are celebrating our special day. We were expecting some sort of candle or just chocolate fudge at the end of the dinner, but they completely disappointed my partner and me. In fact I told the restaurant host and server before leaving, they did not bother about it. We left with bad feelings. I would rate one star based on experience. If you have a special occasion even you tell them in advance and after arriving, they dont care.
We had a great time at our tasting. Janet and Jack were both lovely and made some great recommendations. Will be back!
Phenomenal food and service
Food and service were fantastic as usual. It was just a bit loud at lunch. It was packed. Not sure theres anything to be done for it - loud talkers just get louder when trying to talk over others
Stratus offers a spectacular view of the lake from the 36th floor of the TD South Tower. The restaurant was empty when we went today as we arrived when they opened at 7am. Service was attentive and the meals were spot on.
I ve been coming here for years, I should have written this sooner - it s a downtown hidden gem on top of a TD tower. Food and service is always exquisite- you can t go wrong with anything. Amazing views too!
Nice spot in DT Toronto on the 36th floor. Gives you a view of some DT buildings and the Lake. Service was excellent and food was a little basic and pricey. Went during lunch business hours.
Vegetarian options: Fab Food
This a great place to have a meal or a drink at the bar. Great view south to the lake. Service is always friendly and professional. No place like it downtown.
The food was delicious and the bartender was excellent.
36th floor, buy with no view. At best you are surrounded by buildings and roof tops. The service was good, but the food in our case tagine was normal. Nothing extra interm of presentation, portion or taste The coffee with the biscoty was good. Vegetarian options: They have couple of vehicles. Options
We went in and I ordered ricotta gnocchi, after waiting for more than half an hour we asked to be packed as a take-out. After reaching home with lots of excitement to try their food for the first time, I opened up the box and found the worst meal ever in my entire life. This is beyond ridiculous and extremely unpleasant. We clearly wasted our time, money, and energy. I would never go back again. It looks like they pack leftover food from other guests for me. I paid $35 for this meal only to be served food from the trash can (that s what the food looks like). I normally don t leave bad comments for restaurants, but I had to for this restaurant because the food is beyond disgusting. Gross ALSO, I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT YOU GUYS NUMEROUS TIMES, NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE. I DON T KNOW THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD YOU GUYS PACKED/SERVED ME. BUT I HAVE BEEN FEELING SICK FOR WEEKS NOW AND I HAVE BUMPS ALL OVER MY BODY. THE BUMPS GO AND COME BACK AT DIFFERENT SPOTS IN MY BODY AND I HAVE PHOTO PROOFS OF THE BUMPS. WOULD YOU GUYS AT LEAST RETURN MY CALLS B/C I REALLY WANNA KNOW WHAT EXACTLY YOU GUYS PACKED FOR ME AS FOOD. SOMETHING CLEARLY WAS WRONG WITH THE FOOD. AND I HAVEN T BEEN ABLE TO GO ABOUT MY DAYS SINCE I CAME TO YOUR RESTAURANT B/C OF THE CONSTANT SICKNESS.
Came here for a friends wedding reception. The views and space are amazing. The food was good. I d definitely consider it for a private event or special occasion.
A classic example of just because you have a fancy view does not mean the food is great. I am not sure how people have given this such high ratings, and I will accept that sometimes people just have bad experiences. However, my girlfriend and I both ordered the omelette from the brunch menu around 11am, and the beef inside was cold (clearly from the fridge), was tough to chew, and was very flavourless. The side salad was extremely large and the lettuce was very bitter. I finished about half of my omelette before I had enough. The servers come around and offer pepper for your food like a lot of Italian restaurants, in my opinion to make the food appear less bland than it is. My orange juice was $7.00, adding tip and tax was nearly $10.00. The view was phenomenal, and the ambience was nice - one of the only good things to say. The server was also very nice. Poor experience, expensive for what it is, and I will not be back.
I really enjoyed this place, even though I was there as a vendor for an event, the service, food & ambiance was so impeccable. Nicole was such an amazing server, you can see her hawk eye everywhere ensuring everyone was having a good time, along with all other servers. Food was to die for, their lamb skewers omg and their filet mignon so tender. The view of the city on 36th floor is jaw dropping.
We went for breakfast and it was amazing. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, beautiful view and comfortable furniture and decor. The food was delicious and the service efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
Atmosphere, service, views, food quality and taste were excellent. However, I found the portion size for main dishes a bit small and not enough to fill your stomach unless you order an appetizer. Was a bit surprised that there wasn t much available for dessert. Coffee was good as well.
Great food and service with an awesome view!
Expensive but worth it.
View is fantastic. Staff was delightful. Decor was beautiful. Food was very disappointing. The salmon had bones throughout (everyone in our party who ordered the salmon had the same experience). The side tasted and smelt of vinegar. Mushroom soup was mediocre.
This restaurant comes highly recommended if youre seeking for a place to make your first decision. They fulfilled my birthday wish.
We had a great experience. Erin, our server, was friendly, helpful, and professional.
Food was good. Service and staff were
It was an amazing party over there. Really enjoyed a lot.
My server Alex was amazing ! Great food , great server, great experience! Will recommend and be back
Was there with a large group of 100+ service was excellent, steak was done to perfection.
We just held our wedding reception at Stratus and it was wonderful. The venue is modern and sleek, excellent staff and service. They took care of us and our guests and made sure the night was memorable. The food was excellent, great views and our vendors also did a fantastic job with the setup to make it really reflect my wife and I, we are grateful the experience was so much fun and the guests were raving about everything.
Love this place! Its beautiful and cozy. I like the food and the employees are super friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place. #latepost
Came here for a private event. It was a great venue Food was great and the service was excellent Shout-out to Alex for taking care of our table !
We came from the UK looking to have a meal out for my aunties birthday and came across Stratus. We decided to go not knowing much about the place. We were so glad we came across it as we had an amazing experience. Nicole our waitress was outstanding. She has knowledge on all of the dishes and gave us great insights into their history. She also made us nice drinks and went out of her way to make a drink that was not on the menu. For the starter I had a Caesar Salad. It was a twist on the traditional but it works so well, the chick pea alternative for croutons were great. For the main I had the duck. It was amazing, full of flavour and was so soft it fell off the bone. For dessert I had the lemon crème brûlée. The zing of the lemon was a great touch to the classic crème brûlée. Overall we had an amazing experience with great views of Toronto and the CN Tower. The team at Stratus were all outstanding and Nicole was the best waitress I have ever had! We will definitely be returning when we come back to Toronto.
Great food, perfect portion and always with a healthy slant!
Food is healthy and fresh, service is friendly and the view is great. Prices are higher but fair for the location and atmosphere.
Great view of the city. I had their deconstructed poke bowl of some sort and it was very tasty. Good portion size!
Nice view, quite place. Freindly staff. A good place to have conversations
An excellent restaurant for a business lunch with great food and even better views...
Went for a tasting. The wine was fine but the service was lacking. A little hospitality goes a long way. Even just eye contact or acknowledgement would have prevented me from leaving the retail store before making my purchase.
Stratus is a casual upscale restaurant located on the 36th floor of a TD tower in the financial district. The décor is modern and provides views of the financial core and of the waterfront. Tip: ask for the restaurant washrooms instead of being directed to the Toronto Athletic Club washrooms (if you would like). This was my second time dining at Stratus this time I was there for an event. Nicole, our server, took excellent care of us. She was professional, attentive, courteous, and hard working. She delivered her top-notch service with such ease. For example, while there was a set menu for our table, she was able to work with the kitchen to make requested changes. In addition, she was attuned to the diner s preferences, for example, she offered options to those who did not drink alcohol (but did not explicitly say so). And we were never rushed she stayed until almost midnight until our party decided to depart before the elevators lock. Thank you, Nicole! Onto the food: KALE & BABY RED ROMAINE CAESAR SALAD ($16 on the website menu) roasted garlic dressing, parmesan crisp, panisse croutons The use of baby kale was a unique twist on Caesar salad. The stems on the baby kale made it slightly cumbersome to eat at times but that s just me being a whiner (I do not mind eating the whole plant more nutrition!). Overall, good salad that was not over dressed. CRISP SKINNED BC CHINOOK SALMON ($35 on the website menu) roasted golden and crimson beets, sauteed baby bok choy, lemon dill The salmon was cooked perfectly. The skin was crisp and the flesh left moist and unadulterated. The beets and bok choy were great accompaniments (never have enough vegetables)! The sauce tasted like butter lemon dill, it was citrusy and buttery. The sauce was drizzled around the salmon so one can decide how much of it to use. Excellent salmon dish.
Great food and even better service. We only wanted drinks prior to the Jays game to celebrate my sisters birthday & ended up with a heap of delicious appetizers, recommended by the staff & manager. The views over Toronto are a bonus. A visit is Highly recommended.
Very disappointed with guest services at this restaurant. I called to book an event room and a nice lady put me in touch with the group booking department (of course I had been shopping around other five star restaurants thankfully) and the dismissive person in charge of that department messaged me to say that there was no availability on my requested date. The message was so snooty and cold. Heres a pointer: if you want to be deemed a friendly establishment maybe apologise for not having that availability on that day and offer other suggested dates that are available? Salesforce 101. Good riddance Stratus!
Stratus was truly exceptional. The host greeted us nicely and took our coats to hang. Our server was amazing, so was the view. Theres limited food options but tastes excellent. Background music was nice and not too loud.
Great environment with a great view and super tasty food.
Good food. Great drinks! Perfect for a Christmas Party!!
Great place with a view and good food..Perfect service and menu was considerate towards vegetarians....would definitely return..
Beautiful Upscale Restaurant with Amazing views of the City and Lake Ontario on the 36th Floor of Td South Tower in Downtown Toronto. Service is excellent and entrèes are flavorful and delicious. Its worth a visit at least once. Would definitely go again.
We came to celebrate my husband birthday. Place on the 36 floor had a nice panoramic view of the city . Food was good , although menu restricted by covid. Service was ok. My husband is a tequila drinker and he asked for a añejo tequila. Waitress said not to have any at first but later she came and told my husband they found a bottle of it. He excitedly ordered one but it ended up nothing good. Just when we were leaving , he asked another staff person to show him the bottle of tequila he was served . After bringing all the bottle of tequila on the shelve down, she could not produce the tequila they dare to charge $22 dollars for. Simple there was no añejo tequila bottle to be found. They misrepresented the drink and did nothing about it. They ruined all our experience in one second!!!. We felt ripped off!!
Had a wonderful private dining experience here for a corporate event. The service was great. The food was very tasty but could have been hotter. The event coordinator Gaurav was very helpful and accommodating.
Delicious food and good service at this restaurant atop the tower with an excellent view. I got the chicken which came with assorted vegetables and sauce to pair with the crispy tender meat. Well fitting for a high end place for corporate occasions downtown.
Went there for a private event. Loved the location. Decor, bar, snacks and wonderful view
Ambience is my main thing when I dine out, so this place gets 5 stars. Great south & east views from just behind the Royal York; nice decor, clean surroundings. But the food was amazing too - Butter Chicken delicious & presentation very appealing. And Paul and Chloe were extremely welcoming and accommodating. This is now one of my top restaurants in Toronto. Thanks so much to the staff!
Great food. Great service. Great views. Great place. Followed covid protocols. 5/5.
Great experience with a private event here, Samantha and the event staff were amazing. Thank you!
The view was spectacular and our waitress was so awesome. The vibe overall was so elegant and lively. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a date, anniversary, event, or birthday!
Had a great time dining at Stratus, the views were exceptional and the service by our waiter Prashant was outstanding. Would highly recommend!
Amazing service, great food (though the salmon dish was just a touch too oily for my taste) - TRY THE SWEET POTATO FRIES! Best weve ever tasted. The view is also just incredible. Also, our server, Nicole, was so incredibly sweet, professional and friendly!
Fancy restaurants, great view and the food is amazing highly suggesting for fine dinning
They ruined my friend s surprise birthday party And didn t apologize about it!
Great shakes and the view...
I would recommend this place for Lunch or Dinner, Elegant fine-dining Very good food. The view of the Toronto is spectacular
Unbelievable view. Service is good. Breakfast average. Best place for business breakfast downtown. Food could be better. I had oatmeal in almond milk. I know it s boring but it needed better accompaniments.
Great view. Great food. The waitress checked up a few times on us during our meal.
Beautiful view with lovely food, little expensive
It was ok.. went for our anniversary lunch. Food was good but not as expected.. steak was a little under cooked.
View is incredible. Food was creative and very good. Service impeccable!
Stopped serving food at 2pm.. why stay open?
Great view, great service, and the food never disappoints. Ive had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Exceptional view south across the Scotiabank Arena to the lake. Fantastic place for a casual business meeting.
great view, service and food
Amazing place for date night! Love the food and service!!
My server was amazing. Super friendly. The food was good
An amazing Valentine s experience! Attentive and friendly servers but not overbearing. We had the vegetarian options for the first three courses and 2 desserts, lemon and chocolate. Food was really good and had pretty presentation. And the view!! So beautiful. Would definitely recommend :)
The view from here is beautiful! But the food and drinks and even more amazing! A great spot to just go grab a drink. Also a great spot for date night. Definitely recommend for the latter.
Great food and ambience. But servers have attitude for no reason. However, Ill revisit.
An amazing view. Great service, delicious food, and a really classy atmosphere
Very good view and good. It was good experience
Great service, great view of the city and very good menu.
Excellent service and the food was delicious! Had the brisket burger and absolutely loved the sweet potato fries! Will definitely go back.
Great food and ambiance
Fancy restaurant with excellent view and good for business dinners. The hostess wasnt friendly but the servers were great. Very limited options for main and dessert. I tried the Salmon and it was good but not something that brings you back.
Food was excellent. The burger and fries were among the best I have tasted. The fries especially. The ketchup was home made. Desert was excellent. Large enough to be shared. Gelato sandwich. Short rib with the black trumpet mushrooms was superb. Nothing was over salted. Service was excellent and the place was very clean. Which counts. The only thing was we were told business casual, no jeans please. But there were lots of people with jeans. So keep that in mind if deciding what to wear. It is more of a lounge....a lot of business people from the financial district. My wife would have preferred something more casual and earthy as we were out for a birthday dinner prior to a show, but that is just her preference. Overall the restaurant was excellent.
Night view from the top is amazing. The service, romantic atmosphere, food and drinks are top-notch. Be back again!
Very good place!
The Stratus is an excellent restaurant, I had a great time here tonight. Noel, my server, was extremely friendly and agreeable. The food was very good, the price was fair (for downtown Toronto) and the view is great. What more is there to say? Ill be sure to come back next time I am in Toronto!
Fab views of the city, great atmosphere and service
Attended a staff party here and it was an exceptional experience. Food was great and the cocktails hit the spot. The view was amazing. Quite the gem in the downtown core.
Very nice place, foods were above par and great place for business discussions.
The food was amazing. The view was fabulous and overall a nice atmosphere. Our server was also excellent. Vanessa and I really enjoyed the experience here
Went here with my wife when we were in town for Opentext Enterprise World. We both ordered the strip steak. I wasnt impressed at all with the dish.. Considering it was 42 dollars I expected a real good piece of meat. The meat was so tough and chewy I could barely cut it with the knife they gave me. I wont be back again.
The waitress was very accommodating
Amazing stake, fabulous view and located in Torontos heart downtown, food quality and services compared to price absolutely fine and definitely high recommended from me. Its worth it. 5 stars
Great restaurant with absolutely elegant decor and an Instagram-worthy bar. You can taste that the food is made with fresh ingredients and the price isnt too bad either. The service was attentive and professional but not too intrusive. Overall I would recommend a visit!
Good service
I recently went here for a business lunch with an old boss of mine. Points for: - The food itself was quite good - The portions were not that large, but quite reasonable - It was quiet enough for us to have a conversation at a reasonable volume Point against: - There is a smell from the gym across the way when you arrive. It went away as I went deeper into the restaurant but as someone whos sensitive to scents that was not a good start.
What a great restaurant. Phenomenal views, great ambiance.
Very interesting
Have you ever had spaghetti squash? Well if you haven t you really should try it as it s a great alternative to pasta, but I digress. If there was such a thing as spaghetti beef this would be it. Literally take a fork to this piece of short rib and it comes apart like spaghetti squash. Delicious and tender on a bed of succulent mashed potatoes and veggies and you can t complain. I mean you can, but why? Service was excellent. View was probably one of the best in Canada. Company (which for all intents and purposes doesn t have anything to do with this review) was amazing. Just an all around excellent night!
The food is awesome, the view is breathtaking, but the thing that I loved the most was the staff, lovely personnel , very attentive and nice.
Great view matched with great food!
TERRIBLE STAFF!
Rude and impolite staff, unorganized restaurants
Unprofessional staff, don t waste your time where staff are rude enough to don t apologize for ruining your surprised birthday!
Beautiful place , horrible staff!
Very good food, except for the pumpkin cheesecake, which missed its mark. Very professional fine dining experience
Everything was great. I had the brisket burger and salmon tartare.
Fine dining and awesome location with great views to impress anyone
Excellent food and service and a really great view!
Great food and nice view.
Nice place. Fancy..and expensive. Great for corporate functions.
We read about Stratus on TripAdvisor and decided to try it for breakfast the other day. We were seated at a table looking out at Lake Ontario and the Union Station area of downtown Toronto. Our server was excellent and made us beautiful cappuccini with designs. Made me think of Firenze! We had the Salmon Eggs Benedict and the poached eggs combo. Both were excellent!
Nice sunrise view for breakfast!
It was Ok
Super cool view of the city and great fine dining! Very close to the CN Tower as well
