Delicious wine and an amazing tartare! I highly recommend trying the tartare—it’s fantastic. The steak, however, was a bit underwhelming. It wasn’t bad, but compared to the excellent tartare, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The friendly and cheerful servers, along with the great atmosphere of the restaurant, made the dining experience enjoyable overall.

Possibly the best beef tartar (with fries) I've had in a long time. Rest of the meal is alright. Skip the desserts. Not worth waiting more than 40 minutes for a seat in this crowded establishment.

My wife and I chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and it didn’t disappoint. We went on a Monday around 6:30 pm to avoid any long wait time as other reviews or videos stated. Our wait time was only 30 mins which was not bad at all. When we got in we were greeted by a friendly host who showed us to our table. The restaurant itself is pretty small and the table we sat at was tight but it worked. The restaurant had a very cozy feel to it. We started off with the escargot and beef tartare. Both are great choices, the escargot was made in a garlic butter that was addicting to keep eating bread with and the beef tartare was rich and creamy especially with the added egg yolk. We did need extra bread to finish it off but was unaware that it was an extra charge when it was offered to us. The charge was minimal but it would be nice to know ahead of time before agreeing to it. The mains that we got was the steak and frites and the prime rib made to medium rare. Both options are great but my wife and I preferred the prime rib over the steak as it had more flavour. The service that was provided was exceptional, all servers on the floor came by to check on us and see how everything is. There wasn’t a time where we had to wait for anything. If we do end up coming back we would like to try other stuff on the menu as they also looked good.

What an incredible, unexpected surprise! From the moment we walked in, everything was just perfect. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Every dish was a masterpiece, with flavors that were fresh and vibrant. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the attention to detail in each plate was impressive. From appetizers to dessert, everything was just amazing. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

When you come to a place like this, you know what to expect. The steaks were superb as was the beef tartare and escargot. The heirloom tomatoes were also super fresh and very refreshing. Unfortunately the sourdough bread that came with the dish was drenched in grease and burnt a bit too much. I’d consider coming back with more people to try the 48oz one. The restaurant is very small and other than one table at the back, mostly sits just 2 people so not the best place for large groups. I hope they can expand to a bigger space with more outdoors seating to bring out more of that Parisian vibe.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, and was happy to have finally made it. With their large extended patio, it's much easier to get a seat than it was in the past. The beef tartare that nearly every review mentions is definitely worth the hype. The tartare itself is amazing and the duck fat toast accompanies it perfectly. The steaks are delicious and well-prepared. The cherry on top for me was that they serve bottles of Mexican coke as well. There were a few wasps on the patio that would not leave us or the other patrons alone, so keep that in mind. All in all, a great experience!

Had a great time here for lunch. The restaurant is very small and skinny so definitely try to get a reservation if you are looking for dinner or a weekend. The vibe was cozy though, and not too hot the day that we went but it is warmer by the back near the kitchen. The food was great. Should probably come with 3-4 people and share your plates for the optimal experience. My drink (watermelon man) was just okay. Servers were very attentive and lovely. Happy to return in the future.

This is my second time visiting this French restaurant. The first time, I couldn't stop thinking about their beef tartare. It's the best I've had in Toronto, and I highly recommend it. The raw beef pieces are large, and it contains whole Sichuan peppercorns and chive-like leaves. The bread, toasted in a pot, is incredibly fragrant. The steak is of average quality, but the variety of vegetables is rich and very delicious. The only downside is that reservations are not allowed, the tables are too small, and you cannot bring outside food in.

Great atmosphere with friendly, attentive and good humoured servers, but the steak just wasn t good and it seems like the kitchen doesn t have great quality control. I ordered the dry aged rib eye medium rare as did one of my friends. My friend s ribeye came out medium rare as expected, however mine came super rare. When I pointed this out to the server he took my plate back to the kitchen and it came back essentially the same but slightly warmer. I tried the steak anyway and it was super chewy and didn t have much marbling at all giving a really meaty flavour. I would personally just fork over the extra money at a more upscale restaurant for a nicer steak if I m going out of my way for a nice dinner. I will say the steak tartare was amazing. Some of the best I had with amazing duck fat toast and if I had only come here for the tartare and drinks I would ve left satisfied. Unfortunately I came here for a steak. I would also highly recommend the chocolate mousse it was also fantastic.

Perfect spot for a great steak, the atmosphere transports you to Paris. The steak is a perfect medium rare with delicious vegetables on the side. The steak tartare isa must have as well. We tried the escargots which were great too in a buttery garlic sauce. I only wish they came with shells just for the experience. The French 75 is dangerous!

Côte de Boeuf delivers a charmingly relaxed yet refined dining experience that hits all the right notes. The service strikes a perfect balance attentive without any pretense, making you feel at ease from the moment you step in. As for the food, the steak frites is a must-try: perfectly cooked, tender beef paired with golden, crispy fries. The duck fat dipped roast with mascarpone is chefs kiss. It s the kind of place where the food is indulgent but never over the top, making it a neighborhood gem for casual yet memorable meals.

Had to wait a while (close to 3hr), but I understand thats what happens when a restaurant does only walks in. Literally my only complaint. Service was great, food was wonderful. Beef tartare (the reason i went) was great, but was also pleased with the escargot, potatoes w/ tapenade, and mousse.

November 23, 2024

Just not worth the wait and hype. Ordered the steak tartare and steak frites. I honestly didn t like the tartare, I ve had better tasting ones in other places and they didn t let me take it to go but that s okay I guess restaurant policy? Nevertheless the steak tartare was okay, I ordered medium well and it was well done dry and hard to chew. Flavour wise it wasn t anything special, the peppercorn sauce was flavourless and too liquid. The service was okay again, very rushed and they even forgot to give us napkins which every other table had! Fries were good and the ambience is pretty small and kind of uncomfortable. At the end of the day it s just not worth the 2+ hour wait time.

A small and cozy French restaurant located at one of the most popular streets in town, what makes it so prestigious is their beef tartare. I ve tried too many in Canada, this is the only one that served with WARM toast. The crème brûlée didn t impress me though.

Food was okay, we enjoyed the beef tartar and escargot, but the medium-rare steak we asked for was instead closer to medium/medium-well. Service could have been better. The older gentleman was nice. The girl working there looked like she hated her job and ignored us twice when we tried to wave her down for our bill. When we finally got our bill from the male waiter and asked for a box to pack up the bread (why waste food if we can take it home and heat it up the next day as breakfast?), we never got it. Hed remember to come give us the pos machine and take the receipt, but couldnt get us the takeout box he had promised three times. Strange.

For a recent date night, we decided to try Cote du Boeuf, and it did not disappoint. We started with fresh oysters, followed by a perfectly cooked 48oz cote de boeuf steak served with duck fat potatoes and seasonal vegetables plenty for two and absolutely exquisite. The flavors were rich, and each bite was a treat. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall experience. While it is on the pricier side, the quality and portions make it well worth it. Highly recommended for a special night out!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. We were told our table would be ready at 8 PM, but here we are, over an hour later, still waiting. The service is absolutely atrocious. The staff, especially the one with black curly hair, was not only rude but also had the audacity to talk behind our backs. Its unbelievable that they would treat their customers like this. Ive never experienced such poor service where they keep you waiting outside for over an hour and still dont have the courtesy to offer us a table. Avoid this place if you value your time and expect decent treatment.

The staff with the black curly hair, was shockingly rude and unprofessional. I cant believe how poorly they treat their customers. Probably just had the best burger in my life so far, no kidding. Came on a Monday afternoon so we didn t wait for the table at all. We ordered two dry aged beef burger on the special menu. The patty was beyond perfect, had a crispy caramelized brown crust and pink juicy inside, with a smoky taste. The pickles were sour&sweet, mustard sauce was on point too. Burger itself was a 10/10. But the aioli for fries was a little boring. I saw they removed the special menu board afterwards, not sure the burgers are limited to quantity or time? Also the beef tartare was very good too. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I would come back for the steaks.

September 23, 2024

We walked in to the restaurant and talked to the host with blond hair to join the waitlist. But her attitude is so rude and arrogant. Asked her how was the waitlist goin cuz been waited for over an hour. she was ignorant and so entitled when I expressed that we have been waited over an hour. The food and vibe was great, but she rained everything.

September 23, 2024

When we arrived, we were told the wait would be over an hour, so we put our name on the list. While we waited, we noticed that the names of customers who arrived after us on the waitlist were crossed off, and they were seated. However, when we asked about our turn, we were repeatedly told the restaurant was full and had to keep waiting. It was frustrating to see our name left on the list while others were seated without any issues. The waitress with the golden ponytail had a poor attitude which negatively impacted our experience at the restaurant.

I rarely leave review like this, but our experience today was horrible. We ordered a tartare de boeuf and a prime rib eye today, and when I was ordering I also point towards the names of the dishes on the menu. The waitress seems to be very familiar with the menu, she memorized our order by head and didnt confirm our order with us. I feel like she only looked the name that I pointed on the menu and didnt listen what I actually said. When we were paying our bills we recognized that the two dishes that we had were complete different from what we ordered, what we just had is Terrine Du Jour and Steak Fries, which is one line above the foods that we trying to order at first on the menu. We wait for the steak for about 50min and I asked the waitress how long it would take for our steak to be ready, she replied that she will bring up the next dish until we had finished the dish on the table. After an hour of waiting, we finally got our steak.

September 23, 2024

The server was so rude that we decided to leave after 5 mins, and now I m writing this review to alert others considering this place. He called us abnormal after we made a reasonable request to be moved from the bar to a table, and when we called it out, he didn t even care to apologize!

Came in as a solo diner around 1500 and was seated immediately. Ordered the beef tartare with toast entree and iberico pork secreto main. Environment: Indoors dining area is very small, 2 2-seat tables, 2 4-seat tables, and 4 bar counter seats. Dimly lit by tealight candles with no fan and no AC, it was not busy when I went but I can imagine it being very stuffy with more people (outside on the small 2-table patio, the sun was burning with no breeze so that wasn t a better option). Service: curt and brusque. Water jugs are self service at each table so I didn t interact with them much, but a friendly smile and welcome would ve gone a long way. Duly paid 18% tip for their minimum effort. Food: - Beef tartare: tender and refreshing. I enjoyed the tart flavours and cool temperature of it on my tongue, especially in a hot stuffy room. Baguette was toasted in duck fat, perfectly crispy and savoury. It was my first time trying beef tartare, very reminiscent of raw lean tuna. - Iberico pork secreto: Horrendous disappointment. The pork and sauce(?) had no seasoning, not under seasoned, just had none at all. Red flags were raised at first sight with how loose and translucent the sauce was, but the watery blandness of both meat and sauce was shocking. It was like they took the effort of searing the meat for colour, then washed it off with tap water and placed it on the plate sopping wet. I don t understand how this plate made it to my table. It s clearly a quality piece of meat, looking beyond the blandness I could see that it had good intramuscular fat, and while not meltingly tender, I could split it at the fat veins with my fork with small effort. It truly did not need much more than a little salt and pepper to shine, but it seemed like the chef forgot to season, and even worse, taste their food before sending it out. The peas were the most flavoursome element of the dish, and that fact made the watery bland pork feel even more insulting. Pomme dauphinoise on the side is fine, light and pillowy inside with a thin crispy crust. A little squeeze of lemon and it scratched my fish and chips itch. I did notice that the kitchen staff changed shifts while I was there, so perhaps the terrible bland pork reflected that carelessness. But it was still a $50 plate, same price as it would be during peak hours. If they are unable to provide consistent service and quality control then they should just close in the lull between lunch and dinner hours. 2 dishes plus tax and tip came to just under $100. I have no problems paying for quality ingredients, and they do publish their menu with prices on the website, but I walked out feeling sad and cheated by the careless cookery.

The 48oz cote de boeuf is the perfect dish to share among a party of 4. Our medium rare steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and came sliced on a bed of roasted vegetables (zucchini, sweet potatoes, green beans, and carrots) and crispy duck fat potatoes. The steak was going to take 50 minutes to prepare so we were pleasantly surprised the restaurant could accommodate our ask for a plate of fries (not on the menu) as we awaited the main course. This quaint little French bistro doesn t take reservations and has minimal seating. It also did not have air conditioning, even on a hot and rainy day. But the ambiance was perfect regardless.

We had the oysters, escargots, ribeye with truffle butter and pork secreto. Oysters were excellent and the bread that came with the escargots was phenomenal. Escargots were under seasoned, pork secreto was under seasoned and super rare and wasn t told before hand, and the steak was also under seasoned. The pork was raw and chewy mixed with the extreme amounts of chili oil that was also under seasoned isn t sitting well in my stomach. Add the fact they make you wait so long for tables in a semi empty restaurant, and the really passive uninterested we are entitled to a tip no matter what type of service, and the super high cost of the food. It s not worth it to return. Other way better restaurants to spend your money on.

The combination of top-notch service (the British manager or owner yesterday was really professional and made the meal really pleasant), sumptuous dishes like the Prince Edward Island oysters and the smash burger special, and the inviting patio atmosphere made our visit to Côte De Boeuf truly memorable. Whether indulging in a leisurely dinner or simply enjoying drinks under the stars, this establishment excels in providing a sophisticated yet relaxed setting for discerning patrons. For those seeking an unforgettable culinary journey in Toronto, Côte De Boeuf emerges as a quintessential destination, where every detail, from the meat selection to the cocktails, is meticulously curated for unparalleled enjoyment.

WOW! We stopped by for dinner and were blown away by both the service and food here! We were very lucky to be seated right away when we walked in - there were 4 of us and we got there just before 6 pm. We had to try the Côte De Boeuf with Duck Fat Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables... this was one of the best dishes Ive had in Toronto. We got the meat medium rare and it literally melt in your mouth. So flavourful, so juicy, and the accompaniments made it a perfectly balanced dish to split. Our server was awesome - he got our drink and food orders in so quickly and that definitely elevated the experience. I love how the restaurant is also a shop so you can see other produce they sell during the day. It was so much fun and lively here! Would 100% come back.

June 23, 2024

This was our first time dining at Cote de Boeuf and we were quite looking forward to it after hearing the rave reviews We started with the steak tartare and endive salad for appetizers. The steak tartare was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was very flavorful and paired well with the bread toasted with duck fat. The endive salad was quite fresh but tasted a bit too bitter for our liking. Our main dish was the Cote de Boeuf, which was supposed to be 48 oz per the menu. The waitstaff reassured us that it would be 36 oz without the bone. When the dish arrived, it was sorely disappointing (see photo). I would assume it was closer to 24 oz without bone, if being generous. Our experience seems to be consistent with some of the other reviews, where other patrons have noted a reduction in portion size compared to their previous visits. The contrast is especially evident when looking back at photos of other reviewers Cote de Boeuf. This inconsistency is also rather unreasonable given the increase in prices ($168 for this dish as of this review), which may be a sign of shrinkflation. In regards to the taste, we had no complaints - the steak was cooked to medium-rare and well-seasoned. The service was otherwise excellent. The host and waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. Our waitress recommended a red wine that complimented very nicely with our meal. We also appreciated their attentiveness throughout the meal. Our plates and utensils were regularly changed with each dish. Nonetheless, at the end of the day, the food is still what matters and we were not satisfied with our dining experience.

Small intimate french style steakhouse with a very nice cozy atmosphere. They have a limited but high quality menu but if you are a picky eater looking for something other than steak maybe look elsewhere. The steaks were all very good. The Ribeye and the steak frites both excellent no complaints. The steak tartar was my favorite. Their creme brulee was also excellent. Their wine selection was also very nice but in my opinion the bottle prices were very overpriced compared to most restaurants with the cheapest being around 75$ Our server was very friendly and attentive and made it a great night. They also have a mandatory 20% tip charge for larger tables which is a bit annoying considering their prices are fairly high so we paid about 150$ of tips for a table of 6 which Im not sure how fair it is. Overall its a cool spot for a couple to share a steak and an entree and a couple of glasses of wine but not the best choice for a group.

They are walk-ins only and on Friday & Saturday nights it can be a long wait! Put your name down first and go hang out at great bars in the area:) Finally visited this place after hearing about it all the time! Their beef tartare was classic done well. Nothing too creative or over the top but so solid. From how each ingredients was cut with a clearly sharp knife without getting minced by a food processor. Not overly seasoned, just right. Serving temperature was also great. Toasted baguettes were fresh as it was buttery crispy on the outside and still moist and slightly chewy in the centre making a perfect vessel for already perfect tartare. What was even better than their tartare was their service. We got sat at their bar and the bartender (wish we got his name ) had such a warm welcoming, kind, genuine, and down to earth demeanour. He made us instantly felt like we were welcomed and in a good care by his presence. Can t wait to get my craving for beef tartare next time and it sure won t be a long time:)

May 23, 2024

This restaurant behaves kind of RUDE by its nature, I explain. First of all, for a not specific and logic reason, they don t serve Ketchup!! Nobody knows why (Because I asked both waitresses) and nobody seems obligated to answer a customer who wants to have his/her very crispy and not so juicy fries, so that s it: WE DON T HAVE KETCHUP IN THIS RESTAURANT, live with it. Second, both hamburgers we ordered was RAW, with a very RED un-cooked meat. I asked waitress why this hamburger is not cooked? She answered: WE ALWAYS COOK OUR HAMBURGERS LIKE THIS, (I thought she meant: live with it!) I believe there are some rules that ground beef has to be cooked to 71 degrees to kill off any harmful bacteria, specifically e-colli. They don t cook their hamburger to the legal and safe level without mentioning it in menu so customer can understand if he/she orders burger, has to eat some round uncooked ground beef. In my opinion, they act like eat whatever being brought to your table. I paid over $60 bucks for those 2 awful uncooked burgers and over cooked very crispy fries, they replaced one of the burgers but I won t go back again to this rude establishment and suggest you don t go either.

May 23, 2024

This is the worst restaurant I have ever visited. First, service: my friend and I just finished the steak and didnt even have time to drink water they suddenly let us to pay the bill. The waiter only carry the plate for us, we also tip 18 percent. But within five minutes of paying the bill, four waiters came to ask us away one by one, and even took away the water I was still drinking. For the steak: the salt is completely not evenly spread, one bite is super salty, the other bite is super light. If you guys want to spend nearly 200$ to serve the waiter and for annoyance please come to this restaurant.

This place is inconsistent. Went there for my first time two years ago and was great . On my 2nd visit well .Unfortunately things have changed my steak was very much undercooked and chewy. I tried for 10 minutes to get the waiter s attention but he never bothered to come check up on us. This guy had the personality of a thumbtack. Truly awful experience which is unfortunate because my first visit was so good. Place is very small which is fine I don t mind a cozy ambiance but please hire competent engaging staff and at the very least instruct whomever is serving to check up on tables to make sure everything is ok. This is my fourth time being here. The past 3 experiences was great, but I just don t get it why I got less food. The steak and fries size was WAY smaller than the last few times and it looks like it s only the half size of the original size. I asked the waitress why does it look way smaller and her respond was maybe it s thicker and they always weight the steak. The steak was absolutely delicious every time I come here. Although I noticed the last time I visited was a bit smaller. But my main issue does not lie with the food. I find that the girl at the door, i didnt get her name, had a really warm greeting. But the server with the blonde slick back hair all the aritiza girls have, was very rude and somewhat racist. I tipped about $34, which was more than the 18% pre calculated on their machine. And then almost stopped us going out the door to ask us to pay for our bill, which we already did. Taken by another server who didn t even give me enough time to finish my drink. AFTER the fact one of the other server said to take our time and enjoy my drink. I just had an unwelcoming feeling after the fact, and they probably thought we were gonna run out of our bill. If not, thats how these servers made us feel anyway. Definitely NOT worth tipping $34 for mediocre service. And I have hospitality and service experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, particularly the steak frites, which I must say was one of the best Ive ever had. The only drawback was the lengthy wait of an hour and a half on a weekday to secure a table. Two of us dined here on Wednesday night and it was everything it was advertised to be. Simple French elegance with attention to detail. We had escargot as a starter and a special cheese plate. This will comfortably feed two and can be either an appetizer or enjoyed as a desert with a nice wine. The escargot was good. The cheese plate (special on the menu) was spectacular. The most memorable part of the meal. It s was that good. Order one for two people. It s about $28.00 and worth every cent. That good. We both had steak frites (ribeye) and it was melt in your mouth good with a nice peppercorn sauce for dipping. The steak was incredibly falvourful. Desert was nice (crème brûlée and chocolate mouse) but not the best I ve had in the city of Toronto. My suggestion, skip desert, order the cheese and pair with a nice wine. Then sit back and enjoy it slowly on the patio. Lastly. We had the most amazing server. She looked after so well. Incredibly attentive, moved us to a better seat on the patio and incredibly friendly, professional and upbeat. This is a place to put on your list. They deliver an all round great package.

The Bottomline: Dont be fooled by my photos. Lathering any food with butter doesnt necessarily make a dish French. I spent a lot of time travelling in France and this restaurant over charges you for meat and an overload of butter. Please find a different French restaurant in the city - just because they dont take reservations doesnt mean the food is worth the clout and your dollars. $ spent for 2 persons: $240 w. tax and tip Appetizers: * 1/2 oysters - served at room temperature, freshness was debatable. I ended up only eating one as it had an odd taste. * bone marrow - it was the most horrible marrow I ever tasted. It tasted like blood or boiled blood that you skim off the top of a broth. It was disgusting - it was the first time I had to run to the bathroom to spit out precious marrow. Mains: * NY Striploin - cooked like it was Chicago style. It was so gamey and hard on the outside. The fries were soggy and cold. There was also excess butter on the side, like why? It wont help a subpar dish. * Prime Rib - also served almost room temperature. The truffle butter wont even melt. The sides were also salty. We didnt order dessert - we figured if they cant make their main dishes well, then theres no hope for their dessert. Ive been meaning to visit this restaurant and safe to say we dont plan on coming back.

Today I walked into the restaurant with my son, not greeted for about 5 mins with the waitress standing less than 1 feet away. Okay she was taking payment but not even a smile. After about 5 mins she says Ill be with u shortly. Then she comes and I ask for a table for 6 people (4 adults, 2 toddlers), mind you the table leaving has 5 adults sitting. She then said not doable cause only 5 chairs. I asked for another chair and she said she doesnt have another chair. So I said to her I dont mind holding my son as my husband and I wanted to try this place cause it got amazing reviews. She finally let us sit there and another lady came and said this table isnt really for 6 and the other young girl just like rolled her eyes. Clearly they didnt want our business cause we had kids there. When one of the boys got excited the young female cleaning the table froze and rolled her eyes again. So at this point we got up and left. I told them that we didnt feel welcome, which we werent so we were leaving. Such bad taste in my mouth. My son is so well behaved and enjoys dining with me and my husband so much. I honestly hate leaving bad reviews for small establishments cause I truly believe in supporting small businesses. If you are the owner and reading this, shame on both your waitresses that worked tonight especially the tall skinner curly shoulder length hair female. Her attitude and her disgust on her face while trying to deny us seating is terrible. And shame on the other waitress coming and trying to support her saying this table isnt for 6 people even tho we were willing to make it work having my son sit on my lap. We ended up at Fonda Balam which they welcomed us and didnt have issues with kids being there.

My favourite restaurant! Everything is a hit -- have never had something turn out poorly. Love the cote de boeuf if I have a few friends with me. Otherwise, the meats and cheeses, and the tartare are my go to.

This Toronto restaurant is a gem. The food is exceptional. The experience on Saturday night exceeded our previous visit and we can t wait to return. If you have not been then it s simple, just check it out.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Got a table around 8:30 after 2-hour wait. Food was really good but can t get enough of the service. The two white male waiters didn t talk to us at all aside from taking the order and getting the bill ready. Maybe they re too busy chatting with other white boys dining at the same time. Overall great food but service was below average

One of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The staff are extremely rude!!! Do not go here.

Extremely overpriced and overrated! The wine by the glass was 19$ for 4 ounces which I have never seen anywhere else before. Our server was okay but told us to order way too much food and then tried to not let us take our extras home with us to go. Being perched on the bar is a cute idea but paying exorbitant prices for 4 ounces of wine and an overpriced, mediocre meal sort of kills that concept. All we (2 people) ordered was a tiny bit of wine, 2 appetizers, and shared 1 entrée and the price came to over $100 per person. The value is not there. There s not enough of a cool, authentic French vibe to make up for the price gauging and pretentiousness. There are so many other amazing places on Ossington to go to - I wouldn t recommend it to anyone!

I love the home-y kitchen vibe inside. It s an intimate space perfect for date night. We only got two small items but holy smokes were they good. The snails were so buttery and garlicky and cooked really well. The show stopper was the potatoes with salmon roe. The potatoes had this crispy outside protecting a creamy and smooth mashed potato inside. We live just a few steps from Côte de B uf and needed to give it a try even though we don t eat meat. We thought this would probably be the only time we enter the establishment due to our dietary restrictions I was wrong. We will 100% be back for these potatoes.

This is the perfect spot for a small group or date. The bone marrow was heavenly. Sharing different dishes was the best option to try everything. Service impeccable.
