We ordered the jalapeño & honey chicken sandwich with a side of fries and coleslaw. Service was good and food was fresh and hot, but they were a bit slow as there were a lot of people that day. Not a problem though since we were in no rush. The sandwich was pretty good! I liked that they used dark meat so the chicken was very juicy and tender. Its a messy sandwich and there’s nowhere to wash your hands and no wet wipes. I took off one star because there’s pretty much no dine-in unless you stand at the counters to eat which is what we did. Left with sticky hands. Oh, and there are no combos so you gotta buy every item separately which does add up if you’re one a budget!
To me this place is not worth the hype at all! I've seen it all over tiktok so i thought i should try. The chicken is average. Too much skin. Flavor is nice but again average to me nothing special. The place has no chairs. So no dine in option and no washrooms. The sandwich is messy so there should at least be a sink to wash our hands. The fries were cold. Overall experience okay.
I think the chicken sandwiches are made of chicken thighs, which is far better than chicken breasts Had the hot honey sandwich and it was very good. The place doesn't have seating, but the food is very good so it makes up a bit for it
Co-worker surprised us with the classic chicken sandwich. The chicken price was really juicy and cooked well. Only thing I felt that the sandwich lack was a special sauce that makes it more bold. Besides that good classic chicken sandwich.
Went to the little Italy location years ago and it was not great. Tried it again and was blow away! The popcorn chicken was fantastic the junior chicken was juicy and amazing ranch and the chocolate cake was rich and moist. The mozzarella bites were just okay a bit too salty and greasy for me personally. There’s little wall counters you can eat at but no seating. Food stays fresh late into the night
The sandwiches were quite generous in size, especially for the price. Although, I found it quite difficult/messy to eat because of the size and the soft brioche bun, which quickly started to soak up all the oil/sauce. The flavours were amazing- especially the jalapeño honey, and the fries were great too. We went around 130pm on a weekday and had to wait around 20 minutes for our order. There are no seats for dining in, but bar tables where you can stand and eat.
WOW! Definitely some of the best fried chicken I have ever had! I ordered the 2 piece spicy with a pasta salad. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken was hot and fresh, crispy, and super spicy! The pasta salad was slightly bland but still good. The homemade hot sauce is fire! Will be back and highly recommend! Thanks for a great lunch !
Grabbed a bite after watching a concert at The Great Hall (about a 4 min walk). Small take-out joint for fried chicken. No chairs to sit down but you’re still able to eat inside. As for food, 5/5! We loved their sandwiches, both regular chicken sandwich and the Big Cluck sandwich! The sauces taste that came with the sandwiches were great! We also loved the Fries Supreme as well, fries were fresh and sour cream was great!! Service was also great! 4 stars because it’s more expensive than other fried chicken joints.
Came in today and a new woman was working - I asked for extra gravy as usual and she did not give it to me. I tried to ask again but she ignored me. On top of that she was pretty rude in general. Hopefully the old guys come back....
Amazing staff, amazing juicy crispy chicken. What else could you ask for?
Best chicken sandwich I ve had
Pretty good fried chicken. The white meat sandwiches are better than the signature sandwiches, but thats just me. Deep-fried pickle spears are a highlight. Popcorn chicken was on the dry side.
oily boneless chicken pieces. i like my fried chicken with bones
Best fried chicken in the town Must try place
Flavourful chicken and lots of options among sandwiches
Great food. The highlight is the chicken by the piece. The spicy flavour and the hot sauce are both quite spicy. On some Saturdays they have special doughnuts exclusive to this location. Theyre a bit expensive at $4.50 each, but quite good. The macaroni salad is good too. Skip the chocolate cake. Its basically a small, expensive version of a deepndelicous from the grocery store. No seating. Parking: Its on Queen Street, so either get lucky with a spot right on the street or youll have to find a nearby side street to park on.
some of the best fried chicken in Toronto
Ordered uber eats, the place is a few mins away but my fries were iced cold and chicken was drenched in oil! Not impressed!
Got a classic spicy chicken sandwich and small fry for takeout. The portions and value were amazing. The chicken sandwich was HUGE and the spice was a nice kick without being overwhelming. I ll definitely be going again.
Food was decent - always a good drunk staple and would like to try more of their stuff to give it a real fair shot.
Is it still the best chicken sandwich in the city? Idk, but its still great! Had a few disappointments in the past few years, but today it hit!
A MUST
$7 sandwich so marinated big and juicy best I ve had in the city the popcorn chicken was just ok funny taste overall $22 isn t too bad they also have dessert next time I ll try the chocolate cake no pic sry to hangry but beats Popeyes and kfc
Really friendly and upbeat staff, happy to help. Food was delicious, I got the small chicken burger and would recommend the fries. Just a standing room to eat, or a bench outside.
I LOVE THE CLASSIC REGULAR SIGNATURE SANDWICH the fries are pretty good too.
Burger was an absolute mess of sauce, completely soaked through the bread. Tasty enough but not a pleasant experience, I might as well have held the chicken in my bare hands... I normally cut restaurants slack for take out/delivery, but if your restaurant has NO CHAIRS, I have to assume take out/delivery is how its meant to be eaten. Shame, I think if I could sit down and eat it before its wrapped the chicken might actually be crispy. Oh and the fries suck, dont bother
The greatest chicken sandwich on the whole planet. A source of inspiration for my Super Bowl parties. If you havent been to Toronto, this place alone is worth a trip.
There are no options for food places but its not a problem for me I like to eat something in the car and watch videos. Its really delicious and the spiciness level is just right. You dont die while eating it
Chicken sandwich Parking: Good luck lol Food : 5/5 |
Best chicken sándwich in town. Tasty.
Not a huge fan of this place, It s busy, whenever you want to go, (usually late) (Pretty sure it takes 20 minutes regardless tho) Small place usually nowhere to stand/sit Flavour profiles here are weird, I m not huge on ranch which is the main sauce, but it seams oddly sour with everything else The chicken itself is pretty good The Junior sandwich is good (cause it s a spicy without the ranch (but it s always sold out) The jalapeño/ honey actually has great flavour, decent chicken but swimming in sauce and a little sweet. Kinda made the whole sandwich meh.
Sons fave chicken spot...
Get the chicken sandwich every chance you get. Its the best in the city by a long mile.
Chicken tenders (chef s kiss). Delicious options, a go to spot when we go out
I am addicted to this place. !!! The classic spicy sandwich and the chicken fingers are incredible. Portion is generous and the prices are reasonable. Great value for quality. Very friendly staff. Food 5/5 Staff 5/5
I m unsure how you can fit a 1/2 boneless chicken between 2 brioche buns but Pg clucks figured it out. Very messy but delicious. I went at an off time so my order was done in about 6 min. Not your typical fast food fried chicken. Limited specialized menu and made in house. No seating but some benches on the sidewalk. Highly recommend to try.
Food was incredibly salty
Get the jalapeno honey sandwich!!!
Slow rude employee
The classic sandwich was huge in size and the sauces were ... The ranch and tenders were superb as well.. it took about 15 min to get the order... Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options only fries and sides...
Best chicken place I have had in Toronto. It was yummy and amazing, I had the chicken tenders and fries. The price was a bit pricey but it was worth it for the food. Chicken tenders were massive. The banana pudding was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back.
If you re a foodie like me, you ll love this place! Had the Classic chicken burger and spicy 2 piece meal. Literally the Best chicken burger in town. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 The guy at the front was super friendly and funny. The ambiance of this restaurant is second to none. Definitely going back here soon.
Small place great taste indeed. Decent portion size and price is also worth it.. 4 people spent 65cad.. food tastes really good
best friend chicken in the city! Parking: free parking on the side streets Food : 5/5 |
Excellent finger licking good... Friendly staff doing amazing job,,,, Food
Ordered in for a large group , & everyone was asking where the order came from because it was so good. The chicken tenders were 10/10 - very likely the best in the city. Loads of sauces and generous portions. Would absolutely recommend.
I think this is the best fried chicken sandwich in town and my favorite personally. It always fresh, hot and delicious and because they use what I believe is a dry rub for their spicy chicken it doesn t get soggy.
I wouldnt normally review a chain, but this really is the best fried chicken in the area and I want them to keep at it. The hot honey sandwich is really wonderful. Eat that. Youll be happy.
All I came for was a donut .. it was incredibly sweet and gooey and will buy more when I m nearby on a Saturday.
The donuts were beyond tasty, fresh and delicious! We had different chicken burgers, both were really tasty. The only thing that we didn t like is chicken consistency, one of the burger had nice and white chicken, the other one had dark meat, bones and badly chewable. So meat quality varies
This spot makes KFC look like health food. Undercooked chicken, can still taste raw skin with each bite. Downright gross and in need of a public health inspection.
Its late, and you need something to eat, walk right into here and get yourself any sandwich. The burger is juicy(made with whole chicken thighs) and flavourful. Hits the spot and they re also open late. Nowhere to sit, but you can just munch on it as you walk or take yourself home Food usually takes a while to make but that s cause they re busy at night.
The chicken was raw in my sandwich. I would hope a place that only serves chicken, knows how to check the temperature and ensure it s fully cooked before serving it. You gotta fix this, it s a big health issue!!
It s normally good but it makes no sense that the sandwich was ice cold yesterday. If we re waiting 15 mins to get the sandwich, at least serve it hot.
I dont know how they get the crust so crispy, with the chicken so tender. Had the 3-pieces chicken with their amazing hot sauce for dipping. And the jalepeno honey sandwich was out of this world! Messy, but the mix of flavours was sooo good. The fries were hot and crispy. A little too salty for my liking, so next time Ill ask if they can reduce the salt. There will definitely be a next time, and soon. I had no idea they also have donuts!
Excellent late night fried chicken sammies and fries. You gotta try this place.
Naveen was an excellent order taker! Food was delicious, hygienic. And delivered in 10 minutes. Much appreciated. I will order again!
Its the typically, unassuming, little hole-in-the-wall place with such amazing food, that you cant help but rave about it to all of your friends. Also, not a word of a lie; their eggnog cruller was in the top 5 best donuts Ive ever had in my life!
Big fan of the place on dundas. This location is a joke. Spent $30 on a sandwich and popcorn chicken. Staff refused to let my gf use the bathroom. I get it if we didnt pay, but we got food. Food was just fine. Ill always tell ppl to try pg clucks dundas, but this plocatiin was not worth the money and time . A staff issue for sure.
Honestly the food is mid. PG used to be the OG but the toronto chicken sandwich scene is way more mature. There are so many better options that, unless they really upgrade drastically, theres no need to return.
There was a really long hair in my food, it took so long to take out of my mouth that I almost threw up. Even getting past the hair in my food, the chicken was slightly undercooked. Service was really good, guy working the front desk was great.
Food
Amazing sandwiches Run and try this place spicy saucy and amazing
Best chicken sandwich Ive ever had, full stop. Gonna be coming here more often.
Best fried chicken sandwich there is. The jalapeño honey one is absolutely amazing!
We love PG Clucks, even though we tend to forget and call it PJ Clucks for some reason. On top of the amazing chicken, what keeps our family coming back is the weekend doughnuts. Every Friday and Saturday I will be checking IG to see what treats will be sold. Its such an add on to this Queen W staple. Back to the chicken. Its so much better than the other fried chicken places because it tastes homemade. It doesnt look perfect or premade. Its like you would make at home. I like that they do different things like the doughnuts and a fish fry around Easter. So glad we have a PG close to our house. Thanks.
Really juicy and decadent chicken sandwiches. The fries are also solid.
Do not get take out. The food would be good if it did not always end up on the floor. They have no take out packaging. At. All. Their trays are for eat in only and not designed for takeout. Therefore the food is squishy and ruined and most of it ends up on the floor as the packaging collapses during unpacking. Such an easy issue to fix .
One of the best fried chicken sandwiches!
Enjoyed the junior sandwich, but was very let down by the big cluck. Expectations were far too high for the reality.
Fried chicken pieces with a side are what I usually get. I tried a few different items on the menu like the popcorn chicken and I keep coming back to this. Queen West has a lot of fried chicken options.
It was one of the worst things I have eaten. Tasted of stale oil and smelt off as well. Please dont waste your money
Yall did right by this chicken. Top quality sandwich and the vibe from behind the counter was a good time.
My go to place for good chicken Friendly service too! A great time all around !
honestly i ve never had the chicken here but the mac and cheese bites are to DIE FOR. seriously. they re $6-$8 (they go on sale lots on uber eats!), you get four HUGE bites, and they re usually crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. i get them mild (you can order them spicy though!) and pair it with their ranch sauce and it s deep fried, glorious cheesy heaven. definitely try out their appetizers when you come!
PG clucks continues to be one of my favourite fried chicken spots in the city. A little more on the messy side of sandwiches, but those are the absolute best ones. With their menu, I dont think you can go wrong, but the jalapeno Honey fried chicken sandwich is something else from here. If you havent already had it, I would highly recommend.
I got the Big Cluck sandwich, the chicken fingers and poutine. For both the sandwich and the chicken fingers the meat was delicious. The sandwich was huge, the bun held together, the chicken was really tasty, if not a lil fatty. Several bites were not so great due to the inclusion of fat/ cartilage on the chicken but over all it was a really good choice. Chicken fingers were the same. Really tasty but a few bits at the end of the strip was inedible. Again, not a deal breaker. They were really crispy and well seasoned, too. The poutine was probably the most disappointing. Very salty fries and the gravy was quite salty too. The type of fry is good, crispy and able to stand up to the gravy and maintain its consistency. Just a bit too far onto the salty side for me. For desert I hand the Yuzu crullers. Fresh, light, sweet. Yuzu flavour stood out but wasnt overpowering. Quite nice. I would defo recommend eating here.
Best chicken sandwich in Toronto so far. Their two main sandwiches 1. Classic 2. Jalapeno+honey Both are pretty good. Also a surprise .Try the banana pudding. You don t want to miss out on it. It s bloody good.
Amazing food, amazing staff, reasonable price. One of the best chicken sandwiches I ever had
Love this place. Order from here all the time. Except today I ordered three sandwiches. Three banana puddings. And three pop. Only to arrive home and fine one pop missing, And only 2 spoons. The new guys working the morning shift smoked too much. Made me walk all the back for my pop and insisted on charging me for it too.
Absolute W food place.
original is good (coleslaw offers a nice freshh crunch), the honey jalapeno is so-so (the jalapenos are too soft and sweet for me)
The portion is HUUUUUGEEE and tastes awesome!
Best chicken sandwich Ive had in years. I asked the team to make super hot and was given exactly what I wanted. 5x jalapenos and enough dry rub to make the chicken turn red. I will go back here next time Im on West Queen West without hesitation. Thanks guys!
Impressed every time I try! This is my third time been here, and I am still Impressed as first time. I have to say it is probably the best fry chicken I have ever had so far. so juicy, tender, and favorable. I feels like a Asian party in my mouth. highly recommend if you never tried, you will know what I mean. JALAPEÑO & HONEY sandwich fantastic, chicken piece nice!! I will just come back this area because of your guys, this is the business have their efforts and passion
Popeyes? Whats that again?
The chicken sandwich was really good!
5 stars if they have more outlets. The 2 outlets are far down south. Not in any prime location
Would have been an amazing experience if they have seating foe dine-ins
Best Fried Chicken in Toronto. Does not disappoint.
Awesome sandwiches and the sandwich artist was great! Entertaining and enthusiastic. Small place big taste!
This happens yesterday night I order sandwich and the manager was really vry rude and this is what he write and abusing, disrespecting me my name in receipt and i recommend everyone don t go there
Jalapeño and Honey is GOAT
Had poutine ! Delicious ! And super friendly dude working
Delicious regular chicken sandwich. Quality meat. Expertly fried. Great flavors of sauce and sweet pickles.
The one at college st is soo much better
late night gem
F-ing fantastic. World s Best Chocolate Cake quite the claim and yet true!!! Chicken and every type of sandwich is fantastic!! Food
The Classic is my favourite chicken sandwich and I ve tried quite a few! I travel from Brampton just to get it. Customer service is always great too. Love you PG Clucks
One of my 2 favorite spots for fried chicken. If you like heat definitely get it spicy, its great. Todays (special) cookies were terrific and the banana pudding was great. Enjoy
A messy chicken sandwich, you know it s gonna be good. PG Clucks is a chicken spot that has been on my list to try out fro quite some time. Passing by Queen St Multiple times, I was interested in the simplistic design and color scheme of the restaurant. Didn t hear much about the spot other than a handful of mentions on social media about it being a top tier chicken sandwich in the city. Finally had the chance to stop by one evening and try it, and here s my experience. Upon entry, PG Clucks on Queen St is very simplistic, an open concept take out spot. Menu ok the wall, drinks in a fridge, with the cashier and kitchen behind them. The employee here the day we visited was very welcoming and chatted with us about possible options to order, didn t catch his name but he was incredibly hospitable. For my order, I went with the Jalapeno and Honey Chicken sandwich with a side of their pasta salad. Starting with the side, the pasta salad had a lot of mayo content but I did very much enjoy the flavour. The added hotness to the salad makes it enjoyable and much more memorable that pasta salads I ve had at other spots. As for the sandwich, I loved it. I devoured the sandwich in record time and thankfully didn t spill any of the overflowing sauce onto myself. I really want to come back here and try the other sandwich options, as this one was so good. It had a really good balance of sweet and spicy, the jalapeño s acidic and spicy taste is felt upon bite, but as you continue chewing the sweetness of the honey is the after taste that is left. PG Clucks is a great quick option for a good chicken sandwich, but with multiple spots in the area that can compete it s hard to say if this is the best. I do believe that this sandwich is very good and implore you to try it if you are interested.
PG Clucks won first place in my 2023 tour to find the best chicken sandwich in Ontario. It was truly out of this world! The crunch was amazing, the chicken was tender, the flavour was unreal and the bun held up the sandwich until we finished. Amazing customer service- they were so friendly and wonderful! I cannot wait to return!
Ordered for the first time, both sandwiches were soaking wet and the chicken was chewy. Disgusting and couldn t eat more than a bite
Literally the best fried chicken I have ever tried.
Good to take away. Fresh generous portions. Good quick service. Sides could be better.
Honestly really dissapointed. Came all the way from mississauga to have these. They are no longer consistent. The spicy honey jalapeño burger i got was definitely not made fresh. Bun was cold. Chicken was definitely not just fried. Barely any sauce even though I confirmed it was saucy. And wasnt spicy at all. Consistency between locations is not the same either. Some times its amazing sometimes its medeocre at best. Ive recommended this restaurant to so many people, Im sad that the quality has deteriorated. Also I dont know if theyve just started buying chicken from a different source but you get these wierd bites of just fat now. (sorry tmi)
Wheelchair accessibility: It s literally a door from the sidewalk so very approachable! Food
Ive been a huge fan of PG Clucks fried chicken and fried chicken sandwiches for a while now. Even though I live in Mississauga, I would happily make the drive to their Toronto locations because they truly had the best fried chicken in the city. However, my last visit was quite disappointing. The chicken was unusually greasy and lacked its usual flavor. It tasted more like something youd find at a regular fast-food chain. Even the coleslaw, which used to be a favorite of mine, was a letdown. The vegetables seemed far from fresh, and the sauce had a strange taste that hinted it had been out of the fridge for too long. Its disheartening because I used to rave about PG Clucks to all my friends, but this recent experience has left a sour taste.
I saw the food and I just dug in. It was over in a matter of seconds! The chicken was cook perfectly, crisp on the outside and super moist on the inside. I had the Big Cluck. This will definitely be a to go location! Definite gem! Thanks for dinner!
Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich which wasnt spicy
Over priced, used to be cheaper
The classic chicken sandwich is the best I ever had.
Customer service here is next level, a guy here helped someone who was ODing, called police and remained calm, made sure the scene was safe, and handled things well. Also the chicken here is pretty bomb so 5/5
Nice, filling and tasty friend chicken sandwich!
Best chicken sandwich.
I absolutely loved the food here! Small place big taste sure is right!
Been wanting to try their Saturday special donuts for months and it s never aligned timing with donut flavour. Today was the day for their apple pie a La mode donut and it was excellent. Dough is soft, flavours coke through in ingredients and ample filling in the donut! Can t wait to try more.
I m a frequent customer of this place and I encourage YOU to give it a try. James and the rest of the team are great people and the food is beyond delicious. The donut is mouth watering. Even my dog loves PG Clucks chicken
Absolutely phenomenal chicken sandwich and add the honey sauce to it and you will get addicted. James was very helpful and nice! 10/10 would recommend
one you try the junior tendor sandwich and the pop corn chicken poutine you wont order anything else
Least flavourful food I ve had in a very long time, The double cluck simply doesn t make sense size wise. Don t even think about ordering the poutine, the amount of salt in there is criminally unjust. Overall I do not recommend. 3/10
Bomb chicken and chocolate cake
This is a great hidden spot to eat a HUGE chicken sandwich in Toronto. The jalapeño honey chicken sandwich is flavourful and crispy. Only downfall of this place is there isn t a place to sit and eat, but they do have a standing bar. Price is a little expensive, but for the portions, it s somewhat justified.
The chicken in the chicken sandwich was not fully cooked. Hoping I don t get sick from it. It would ve been a great sandwich if they cooked it for longer. Disappointing
Absolutely amazing chicken sandwiches here. The sandwiches alone are a full meal with a combo of bomb flavours. Highly recommend
You want a good spicy classic chicken sandwich come here, they are the size of veals. Really well cooked and marinated. To add to the person that was working there was so nice and chill.
Got 3 piece chicken fingers. He said comes with one side so I got the coleslaw. It doesnt come with a side that was an extra three dollars. So I spent 18 dollars on this lunch and just threw all 3 pieces and the coleslaw in the garbage. The batter was good but the tenders seem to be undercooked. The skin was chewy and the gristle wasnt cut out. Very disappointing almost 20 dollar lunch.
I have ordered twice the Classic sandwich through DoorDash and both times the chicken was undercooked and visibly pink. I am disappointed since the sauces and the burger is delicious.
I got food poisoning from this location last night. Customer service was friendly.
I dont usually leave google reviews but I had to now THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN TORONTO HANDS DOWN THE EMPLOYEES ARE AWESOME JAMES IS THE MAN THANK YOU PG CLUCKS
The food tastes great, and you get a lot for the price.
The fried chicken, coleslaw, fries and gravy were ok, but the spicy fried chicken was too spicy to be enjoyable for me personally, and I prefer the breading at other friend chicken restaurants. The jalapeño honey sandwich was also too saucy to travel well for takeout in my opinion.
Ive ordered from here a few times, getting it delivered and its always good!! All the guys there are awesome and even when theyre slammed are still really helpful. Yesterday I went in and got such amazing service. Not often I feel the need to write a review and mention someone by name, but it was so busy there and the guy up front handled it so well, he deserves the kudos! James was awesome and Im so glad he recommended I try the banana pudding! SOOO good! Seriously try it when you go. Its just as great as their chicken.
Pretty expensive. Though the portion size was nice. Fries are more addicting then Lays potato chips, the slogan, not the chip
My guilty pleasure food used to be Fried Chicken, now its PG Clucks Fried Chicken.
Some of the best fried chicken in the city. Really nice staff. Excellent dessert. You have to try the donuts.
The popcorn chicken hits the spot! Their hot sauce is good too!
it was hot, fresh and crispy and juicy from the inside... Absolutely delicious!!
Best chicken sandwich in Toronto. Seriously.
Nothing short of amazing. The server was kind enough to suggest me something for my first time. The sides are ok but the highlight id definitely the spicy chicken
Chicken sandwich is great because they only use dark meat. Prepare to get messy!
The food is really good, the in house sauce is amazing, great for a takeout kinda night, The owner James is also a really personable.
Got take out as there is not seating in the store. We walked in to order and had our food in about 15 minutes. Tried a classic sandwich, tenders, and poutine between us and liked it all. Crispy chicken and the sauces were tasty. If youre in the area its definitely worth a stop
This is definitely the best chicken sandwich I ve ever had!!!
Super yummy and generous pieces of real chicken. Tried the sandwich first and then the tenders and both delicious. Sauces are really good. Wholesome vibe and friendly service too.
SMALL PLACE, BIG TASTE I ordered a spicy classic sandwich,Big Cluck and poutin. The sandwiches are great but will most probably skip the poutine next time.
I cant remember eating this. Probably because I was so hungry and it was so damn good I just inhaled it without tasting it. Lol! Get the classics! Always get the classic
Delivery took 28 min but FCS still couldn t stay hot n crispy. But they are huge. Fried pickles batter just all fell apart Chocolate cake is good but definitely not worth $12
5 star to the stuff so nice of them I shoud tip them more
PG is VG
Out to find another amazing lunch spot.... PG Clucks Fried Chicken. Amazing, this sandwich was great (spicy, of course) it was huge!!!! Cooked really well, great coleslaw flavor, tasty hot sauce, not just hot but flavourful. I will come here for my fried chicken sandwich from now on. About $15 with tax got me the fried chicken sandwich (dark meat) with a ting grapefruit drink (yes, ting a jamaican soft drink) Go here.
Beautiful British Anglepoise lamps, decent plant situation. I m not gluten intolerant, just try to minimize its consumption so potato bread saved the day. And yeah, chicken is good a spicy
Best fried chicken in Toronto.
Super nice customer service. Got the jalapeño and honey chicken sandwich, huge portion and very fresh. Also got the poutine, it was very salty, don t know if that s just how they make it or if the double salted the fries and then salted the gravy? But other than that it was a really good chicken sandwich. Finished things with the banana pudding (forgot to take a pic) soo good and fresh!
What was once a Toronto institution is now a mere imitation of itself surviving only due to the reputation of what it once was. It is sad to see what was once my favourite food in the city go down like this but its the truth.
Ordered on DoorDash. Absolutely fantastic burger
An excellent burger place. The buffalo s was full of flavours, fries crispy as they should be. I m coming here again.
WOW, what a first experience!! I scarfed down a classic chicken and damn was it ever good?! No. It was the BEST chicken sandwich in the city! The flavours of the coleslaw, ranch sauce ( straight drippy ), perfect amount of hot sauce had me interrupting the lady just to tell her how good it was my bad . I also got a side of potato salad...FLAVOURFUL..skin on the potato (bonus). No pics for attn as it was gone before I could take my second breath. All in all, make your way over there to have ur mind and palette blown
If youre looking for greasy and messy comfort food, this is the spot. Feel free to go for the spicy chicken, its pretty mild.
Their fried chicken sandwiches were made fresh to order. The honey jalapeno Sando was very good (a bit of a kick + sweetness)and I recommend getting the spicy version. The big cluck was GIANT but the some pieces do fall apart once you bite into it. Overall great service from the staff and very flavorful chicken. Reasonable price but I wish their potato salad was a bigger portion.
The chicken sandwich was ok.. but the pop corn chicken and Friday chicken was horrible ... Dry pieces of chicken and hard and overfried....it still had the skin and fat on it ....very disappointed...never going there again.
Its great when its made well but sometimes I find the buns are bit stale, or chicken coating comes off isnt crispy. Consistency varies, if they can improve that then I would rate it higher. Still happy to have it in the neighborhood. Jalapeno and honey sandwich is pretty awesome.
I ve only tried one sandwich from here but I was so impressed by it, I had to write a review. The honey jalapeño chicken sandwich was amazing! There was so much sauce on there and the chicken was very well seasoned. For this to be a 5 star review, I d like for the chicken to be even crunchier and have coleslaw on the sandwich for a fresh contrast. I m looking forward to trying the other menu items. I d HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try, it s the best chicken sandwich I ve had in Canada.
They have a small limited menu and only serves chicken sandwiches. I got the classic chicken sandwich with a spicy chicken and a honey jalapeno chicken with a spicy chicken with a side of drink and potato salad. They make it fresh to order so the wait time is around 10-15mins depending on how busy they are. Theres no seating inside the the restaurant but they have 4 small patio tables outside. Both chickens were crispy and moist, not dry at all - which was expected because it was marinated over 12 hours. The jalapeno sandwich was my favorite out of the 2 because of the sweet and spicy. However, I find the spicy chicken to be too much spice since the spicy level builds up and lingers as you get to the last few bites. The potato salad was average, could use a touch more flavor. $11 for a chicken sandwich seems quite reasonable and we paid $4.5 more for a pop and a side. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you enjoy a good chicken sandwich.
Delicious, every time, best fried chicken sandwich youve ever had in your life. Order the classic spicy with no pickles plus honey
We eat here at least once a week. Staff is amazing and sandwiches are to die for!!!! Please don t ever leave us!!
Just recieved my Skip order and the food it LITERALLY cold. Maybe adjust your packaging for deliveries?
Great sandwiches! great taste, well made, good quality, and the staff is lovely! Also a nicely designed space
Was welcomed by James, phenomenal experience, amazing service Chicken was juicy and flavourful made to order. The desserts are probably the best in the city, the lady that makes them is a pastry chef and she knooows what she s doing HOOOOLY smokes was it good
Best chicken strips I have ever eaten in my entire life. Wow. Just wow. The ranch is fantastic too. Can t wait for my next visit
After seeing the reviews I had to try this place, especially as an late night meal. My partner and I were craving fried chicken and I have to say PG Clarks did not let me down. I asked to have the ranch sauce on the side in case I didn t like it and they listened to my request - but after trying it I realized I wouldn t have to request it again because the ranch sauce is delicious and not mayonaise-y at all. My only note is that the chicken could be made a little crispier but it didn t take away from the experience as a whole at all. They also had delicious Agua de Jamaica!
Nice chicken. Not as good as 1990s kfc quality but still tasty. Had the jalapeño sandwich and 8 pieces of chicken half and half. Interestingly, the cuts here are boneless. Mild to moderate spice level. Best thing was the sandwich.
Chicken made to perfection
Popcorn chicken is dry, fried in old oil with skin and fat still attached Fries are frozen McCain crinkle cut fries Cost was $25 for 2 meals without sides or drink Portions are small
Fantastic fried chicken that doesnt use any dairy in it - surprisingly somewhat hard to find! PG Cluck is the perfect, east dinner and is always so high quality. Their chicken is crispy and delicious and the service is always really friendly! Their banana pudding is also amazing and they always have fun limited time items.
The best fried chicken sandwich Ive ever had.
Arguably the best friend chicken ever? I always look forward to getting PG Clucks!
Fell off!
Stop whatever it is that youre doing and come check this place out! Their Chicken Classic is probably the best burger Ive tried in Canada so far. And its definitely not a small one. Staff was also extremely friendly. Highly recommended.
Fast and efficient service. Polite and friendly staff. Food was damn delicious and flavourful!!! Chicken was juicy.
Hands down best spicy chicken. Employee suggested the potato salad as sides , let me tell you something it s bomb. Also gave me a banana pudding to try ,after bomb chicken and salad that pudding hit high note. This is my new favourite friend chicken spot.
Went to new location for first time. Amazing staff and good food as usual.
The spicy classic was really delicious! One of the best spicy chicken burgers I ve ever had
I had the honey jalapeño chicken sandwich, it was delightful and to die for. It was sweet & succulent with a little kick Exceptionally crispy chicken thighs. Extra juicy chicken thighs. Excellently seasoned chicken.
This could very well be the best fried chicken in the city? At least nothing else Ive had compares. Chicken was JUICY! And well seasoned/fried and come with 2 dipping sauces. The fries were surprisingly good as well. The staff here is on another level and made it such a delightful experience. FYI: There is no seating area at all but there is some counter space to eat at the store. It is probably a good idea to take order to go.
