Mac and cheese is great but would not suggest it if you are not a fan of garlic :) Service was average.

had the beet salad,which was good even though it was beet heavy.

Fantastic food & service. Only afterthought is the pecans were missing from our otherwise delicious beet salads.

Quiet little gastropub with standard pub fare, and an added brunch menu on weekends.

GF and I shared a bottle that we purchased across the street and paid only a $2 corkage fee on a Sunday evening. Beautiful patio, close to Danforth Music Hall and wonderful pastas and pizzas. Very good value and very nostalgic, 70s atmosphere for us Generation Jonesers!

Holy Hannah dinner without air conditioning, I imagine thats what it was like in the 1920s.But when everyone at the table was uncomfortable, it just came off as cheap. Saving a buck to cost twenty. And thats the last time.

Cute patio and atmosphere overall is nice but I couldnt justify a full 5 out of 5. The club was good but there was more cheese than turkey and I cant believe Im upset about it.

This was worth it simply for the backyard terrace which is quite exceptional. Service was friendly and helpful, a bit slow but 2 large groups arrived at the same time, so understandable. Food was good with enough options.

I sometimes perform comedy at the nearby Social Capital Theatre. Factory Girl has been a go to place for me when family comes up to see the show.

Great service, but the Philly Steak & Cheese sandwich was one of the worst I ve had. It was literally a 9oz steak unshaved, one solid piece with some cheese and barely any onions. No green peppers, no sauce. To say it was a challenge to eat is an understatement. I was ripping it apart like an animal. Not that I m a chef, but I d recommend thinly slicing the meat and adding sauce with more vegetables. It d be way better.

ordered french onion soup, there were 3 small pieces of toast with 3 small almost non existent minuscule pieces of cheese. the broth did not have enough salt, FOS should have lots of cheese on the top before it is put under the grill. i had to ask for more and the cook threw a slice of cheese on top of some toast ...i will never order it again, really hard to ruin FOS !!!! . the owner of this place is a total jerk, sat at the bar drinking with his buddies , got up and came over to me and told me to turn of my cell phone, he has done this before , who the hell does he think he is , the food is so so , never going back !!!!!!!!

Everything looked and felt really nice especially the decor and aesthetic, though when the dishes arrived we weren t so thrilled. Their burger didn t have much flavour and seemed dry and the steak although rare was super stiff and not a good cut of meat overall. Nice people and atmosphere but quite overpriced, not sure if we d go back.

Cool local staple in the Greek town! It feels like you travel a bit back in time, maybe back to before you were even born if youre Gen Z. We went as a group of 4 on a Friday night and was able to secure a table with no wait but the waiting list started shortly after. Was very busy with the rush before the concert nearby and it died down pretty quickly soon. Although it was very crowded, service was reasonably paced and the server seemed well experienced and professional. He was attentive and nice. We got multiple appies including wings, fries and calamari and they were all good. I ordered Francesca pizza and it was so tasty! Wish I had taken photos but I forgot to. Highly recommended!

Neat atmosphere, basic food but honestly, a table of trans women probably shouldn t be referred to as guys and men. I d give zero stars for that if I could. Probably an alright place to go if you re cis, but I don t think anyone needs to be exposed to blatant transphobia. Factory Girl should probably consider hiring better staff or training them. Transphobia isn t OK in 2023. Save your money for places that know how to treat paying customers well.

We had a party of 8. Our server Matt remembered everyone s order (down to every detail) Matt was extremely pleasant and very cool. If you decide to stop by this place, definitely ask for this guy !

Got the steak tacos. It advertised a spicy bbq sauce but came out covered in hot sauce. It was insanely greasy. About 2 hours after I threw up for 10 minutes straight. Food tasted fine but would not come again.

Today i went to factory girl for a drink. The service was SO RUDE. I have been going to factory girl since it first opened, but i will not go again. The food here is fine, but not great. I would recommend any gastro pub on this restaurant strip along the Danforth EXCEPT this place.

We had a nice, air-conditioned room all to ourselves on Saturday night. It was friendly and peaceful. Food was tasty. They trendily burn the pizzas here, so just be mindful when ordering. I would recommend!

Just needed a patio to chillout one late quiet evening. This old Danforth location was great. Had a thin crust pizza with soprassetta and a glass of red wine served at the perfect temperature (not all places get this right on a hot day), just a little bit chilled ( ). Kitchen was open late. How fantastic is that, sometimes, in a big city. Service was nice. Great evening atmosphere. Thank you!

Went here before a concert at the Danforth & so glad we found this place!!! Food & drinks were amazing, our server was so sweet & pleasant! We will definitely be back. Steak sandwich and Factory club sandwich were 10/10!

We had a really good meal here on a Saturday evening. The pizza was delicious, fries and burgers were good as well. Drinks were good, and cold. Our waitress was super attentive, personable and the service was quick. Ambiance was good too, despite the insanely loud guy laughing right next to us... overall it was really good!

Had been there many times previous, trying to support local. But I was walking along the Danforth looking for a place for brunch on a Sunday morning. We passed by Factory Girl and the servers were putting tables and chairs out on the sidewalk. We asked if they were open, since we didn t see any hours posted. The server responded obviously not in a very rude tone. Needless to say, I won t be back

My most recent visit was very disappointing. My food was overcooked and no one even bothered to ask me why I hadnt touched it.

Picked this place because it s so close to the Danforth Hall. Our waitress, Leah was excellent. She was both very friendly and patient with us as we were a bigger group of friends who hadn t seen each other in a while and took a long time to order due to our catching up. I came with a friend in the summertime, food and service was so great we decided to come back again tonight. Drinks, food, and service were good this time around, I had the calamari. I took stars off because I developed food poisoning symptoms about 2 hours after eating here. It s unfortunate as I ve had great experiences here but I m not sure if I ll be back now.

I friend took me to this place and told me that Factory Girl was a song by the Rolling Stones. I had no idea, but inside there were plenty of Rolling Stones memorabilia. Interesting. The food was fine, nothing to write home about, I just thought the place was a little bit out of ambient amongst all the Greek joints on the Danforth.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the food at this restaurant. While here the chicken wings I had were raw. I was not asked at all about the quality of my food even though it was obvious I had chosen not to eat any of it. When I asked the waitress for the bill I informed her they were raw and yet I was still charged for them. Im giving this restaurant two stars because although I was disappointed with the food the service for my beer was very fast. Overall, I was not impressed and will choose not to go back.

Visited for lunch on one of the nicest days of the month. Back patio was clean and not too crowded. Pleasant meal from a large menu ( in both size and selection) and we had friendly and knowledgeable service. Did you know the Rolling Stones did a song called Factory Girl. Well now you do!

Best bourbon sour in a really long time. Enjoyed it, well 2 of them! Cocktails were 5/5 but the food was just good, it didn t wow me. Onion rings were top notch, pici was pretty tasty - similar to carbonara, margherita pizza was ok, very little basil. Friday night from 7pm-8:30pm was a million degrees in there. So hot. Would have stayed longer, but couldn t stand the heat.

Went for brunch with a friend and we ordered Caesar s drink and red wine and for food we got the max and cheese and crab cake benny! The drinks were so-so but the food was delicious! Since I ate the mac and cheese, I have been craving it so much and would definitely revisit just for that! It was flavourful with lots of veggies !!! Worth every penny :)

You should never complain about the amount of tip your about to recieve thats no business/server etiquette. Its disgusting that someone would even have to mention that you dont know what any person is going through financially and if they dont tip the supposed right amount that one time you shouldnt shun them or bad eye them or even comment. If it was a reoccurring incident I may understand but one off thats pretty lousy and GARBAGE SERVICE... ANYBODY READING THIS DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE THE STAFF IS AWFUL AND THE OWNER PROBABLY EVEN WORST IF HE BACKS THIS ETIQUETTE. 2 THUMBS DOWN

Basically the most expensive spicy grilled cheese sandwich, pretending to be a clubhouse sandwich which is what I really wanted. It was good but definitely not a club, sorry.

A friend and I went for food and drinks before a show at danforth. Service seemed friendly but the owner completely ruined our experience. My friend was showing me a video on his phone in a pretty loud environment and the owner walking buy snapped as us and said to put it away because of the volume. Dumbfounded at the approach at which the owner took to tell us isntead of politely mentioning their policy I looked at him confused to which he responded if we had a problem? he proceeded to linger at the table next to us making us completely uncomftorbable forcing me to cancel my food order and settle the drinks we were drinking. I couldnt help but notice we were the only minorites at the establishment and felt as if we got different treatment from the owner because of so. Will not go again. So many other better places on Danforth to go before a show.

I have gone for drinks a few times. It s nice, cold beer, never ate, good service. But last night we sat on the back patio & I could smell garbage (maggots). I don t know if it was from their garbage or somewhere near by. But I won t sit out back again.

Always an excellent time at Factory Girl! The wood oven pizza is delicious, perfectly cooked and one of the best in Toronto. My personal favourite is the Lorenzo, would 100% recommend!

Great atmosphere and friendly service. Food was good and quick which is what we wanted but unfortunately 3 out of 4 of us found hairs in our food. I found two in my sandwich. Would definitely go back for a drink but not sure about the food.

Used to really love this place, but while cost has gone up (understandably), quality seems to have gone down. The staff is still wonderful, but as an example, I ordered crab cakes and at $17.25 I expected real crab or at least a note on the menu. But I m 95% sure it was imitation crab and my dinner partner also had a bad experience.

Location is on the south side of Danforth east of Ellerbeck Street, directly opposite of LCBO. Dark decor with booths. These booths are annoying when some one sits behind you and are constantly shifting. You will definitely feel it especially when you are about to put food in your mouth. Teeth jarring might I say. Food is similar to IL Fornello or Scatterbush. Pricing is much better though. There is more variety than your typical Italian restaurant and includes a diverse breakfast menu. Try the Crab Cake Benny.

This place rocks! The house pizzas are phenomenal. Great crowds after the music hall finishes there performance. Definitely a music lovers hangout. Vegetarian options: Outstanding vegetarian pizza. Crispy crust, fresh ingredients and wonderful aromatics.

Yesterday was my significant others last day in Toronto before flying out. We shared a Rigatoni ala Vodka here in the back yard, and it was easily the best Vodka pasta weve ever had. Service was amazing. Our server knew the wine offered there super well and made an amazing recommendation. Atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, a phenomenal dining experience, and will definitely be back for more!

We spent a very enjoyable evening at Factory Girl last night, Sunday, Sept. 5th. The food, specially the crab cakes were superb. Service was also excellent. All in all, for a casual evening out, I would highly recommend Factory Girl. As an aside, I actually own the Rolling Stones vinyl album with their song, Factory Girl, on it. Its their Beggars Banquet album!

The venue is big. Two patios. Nice staff. I had the Mac n cheese. It was good but no bread at all (garlic bread would have been great).

Food and drinks is worth every dollar for the experience. Dining indoors and outdoors is accomodating as well as spacious. Cocktails crafted by awesome staff.

Slow service, food is just okay and salad was very small for the price and barely any toppings on salad. The backyard patio is nice but wouldnt rush back there

This one star review is only for the breakfast I just had this morning. Normally Id give Factory Girl 5 stars as their lunch and dinners Ive had have been fantastic. Unfortunately, the breakfast wasnt anywhere close to the quality. First off the price. Normally at any restaurant, I get eggs with sausage and a side of bacon. And no eggs. Any restaurant Ive been to includes a choice of meats with the meal. NOT Factory Girl. Meats were separate. I know the menu online says different, but the menu I got was NOT the same. Meat was charged separately. The meal was meh. Bacon was cold, and it was replaced with a hot portion. However, it was still chewy, almost as if it was leftovers reheated. I got one sausage. The potatoes were OK as was the toast. Coffee was also extra. The bill came and I was charged for everything, which really isnt an issue. However, pretty much any other restaurant Ive been to where I dont have the eggs, either give me a break on the bill, or throw in extra portions of meat, fruit, something. This morning, nothing. Total cost without tip was about $23 which was way over priced considering the quality, I had no eggs, and the price of other breakfasts on the Danforth. I did mention all of this to the waitress who was great and said shed pass on the info. Overall, I probably wont eat breakfast at Factory Girl again, but will continue their Lunch and Dinner items.

Factory Girl is one of our favourite restaurants! Went for dinner on Saturday night and as always, we had a fabulous meal with impeccable service. The food was delicious - everything is great. We particularly love the calamari, fresh pizzas from the wood-burning oven, fish tacos, the pasta dishes and fish & chips! George, the owner, goes out of his way to accommodate all guests and special requests while maintaining an exceptionally clean and safe environment. The servers, Carlo and Danni, are warm, friendly and so helpful. We love dining at Factory Girl with our kids and with our friends - perfect location with great food, amazing service and fabulous ambiance (love the music and all the great music-themed decor!)! I highly recommend!

I hadnt been here for several years. It was good food and service. I seem to recall a bit larger menu and a bit more diverse; I found somewhat over priced for what everything was, this said, I would go back but maybe for apps and drinks instead.

For some reason Google Maps will direct you to the back alley. My friend and I both ended up there, in the dark, and were confused by the sign that said Access to Factory Girl (which we later figured was deliveries). The directions given lead to the heated patio in the back, but its fenced in so you have to go in via Danforth which has the front entrance. First impressions aside, Factory Girl has an extensive menu and attentive service. I enjoyed the dessert -- a molten lava cake topped with ice cream. Yum!

The rigatoni alla vodka is one of my favourite dishes ever. We had great and friendly service, everyone enjoyed their meals, and the prices are so reasonable for being close to a concert venue. I always come here prior to a show at The Danforth.

Incredibly loud. No plastic screens between tables. Packed in like sardines. Food was fresh and tasty. Good service, however I think they could have told this one table of 6 women to lower their screams and laughter. It was really, really loud.
