Tiflisi is a family-owned Georgian restaurant, located in the heart of amazing Beaches community which serves rich in proteins, healthy and delicious Georgian dishes.
We had the cheese bread with yolk and butter. It was fantastic! We had the chicken in garlic sauce as well which is pretty amazing. Its creamy and the chicken is tender with a good portion. We also had the lamb soup dumplings. They were over salted and made my mouth burn from salt. Other than that flavour was good and they came out hot. The lamb meat was a bit chewy. I would definitely like to try some different dishes as well in the future.
To preface this, I just wanted to say that the meal we had here was arguably one of if not the best we've ever had in Toronto. It was funny because how we ended up going here was not planned. We were supposed to go to a similar place in North York but due to an unfortunate circumstance, we had to leave. We searched for other Georgian places on Google and we found Tiflisi as one of the top of the list. We were hesitant to go there because we saw that the trip would take a long time because my partner and I don't drive, we had to commute which will take us 2 hours. With how the start of our day already turned out, we decided to take the huge risk and got on the bus. We arrived at Tiflisi at around 4 pm. We entered their restaurant and got enamored by how charming the place is. We were given a seat near the window next to the wall made out of chopped wood. Choosing what to order was a challenge but we ended up choosing Khachapuri, Saocari, Chashushuli(which was an excellent recommendation by the waiter). The wait was reasonable and the portions were truly generous. The flavors were outstanding and the food we had complemented one another which was fun. Our drinks too was a funny experience because I ordered the Tarragon Georgian Lemonade and my partner ordered a Strawberry Compot. To our surprise, the Compot we got was just a giant bottle of it. Both drinks were pretty good. We decided to end the meal with dessert and ordered a Strudel and 2 Turkish Coffees. Both were truly outstanding. I even forgot to take a photo before eating it and just dug in because we were excited to try it. The evening was filled with munching and burping after all the good food. I slept like a baby that night. We were ready to go and asked for the bill. However we had an issue because we noticed that we were not charged for the Strudel and the 2 Turkish coffees. We immediately brought this up to the waiter because we wanted to do the right thing and also express our full gratitude after being treated with care, respect, and excellent hospitality from start to finish. We left the place with tummies full of delicious food and joy and we shall definitely return to Tiflisi in the future. One of our best nights in this lovely city and we will also recommend this place to our friends and loved ones.
I recently visited this Georgian restaurant, bringing my partner along for his very first experience of Georgian cuisine. Having grown up with these dishes cooked by my family, I wanted him to get a true taste of the flavors I hold dear. I was nicely surprised by how well the food captured the essence of home. Of course, nothing compares to the way your mama, grannies, and aunties prepare these dishes, or how the men of the family cook meat over the fire—it’s a special kind of magic. But the dishes here did not disappoint, and I wasn’t ashamed to introduce my partner to the deliciousness of Georgian cuisine through this restaurant. A big thank you to the owner for offering such a wide range of authentic dishes, including the dessert Pilamushi—a delightful, traditional treat made from grape juice and flour. Every dish gave a true representation of Georgian cooking, and for that, I’m grateful. The service was above and beyond, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s worth mentioning that this restaurant has been recognized with the Bib Gourmand award from Michelin, which is given to establishments offering high-quality food at good value—a well-deserved accolade! Особлива подяка нашій офіціантці за тепле обслуговування і чудову увагу до деталей. Ваша привітність зробила наш вечір ще кращим. Дякуємо щиро!
Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere in a nice neighborhood. Tried the eggplant stuffed with cheese, the beef stew and the dumplings and every single one was a hit! Good portions and very friendly staff who are happy to recommend items if you aren’t familiar with the cuisine.
So, full disclosure - I don't have a lot of experience with Georgian food. Maybe this restaurant is an exceptional example of Georgian cuisine and it's just not for me. I also came alone for dinner, and I get the sense that this place is really more of a "bring a lot of people" restaurant and less of a "get one main and go" kind of restaurant. That being said, this was my experience. I got the chakapuli, a lamb stew topped with tarragon. The stew itself tasted pretty good - it had a nice savouriness and an undercurrent of spice with a pleasant sour note. The lamb, despite being an anemic grey, was tender if not particularly seasoned. The bread it came with was warm and paired well dunked into the broth. The stew also came in a small bowl and had a very watery consistency and cost $24. I wouldn't have minded as much if this had been labelled an appetizer or something, but it was explicitly part of the mains portion of the menu. I came to the restaurant for dinner and after I'd finished the stew I was still hungry. Not wanting to leave hungry after spending $24, I ordered the lamb chops after, which came with a side of mashed potatoes. The lamb chops were, again, relatively tasty - they were well and uniquely seasoned and tender. The dish was also $30 and came with four (really three, since one of the chops just had two bones protruding and wasn't particularly thicker) medallion sized chops and half a plate of pickles. I don't know if the pickles were meant as a palette cleanser or if pickles are just a large part of Georgian cooking, but they tasted like regulars pickles and I wasn't interested in eating half a plate of sliced pickles. Suffice it to say, it didn't leave me particularly satisfied either. I also ordered a Georgian lemonade - for $10 it was a little disappointing the soda wasn't even an imported product but was produced locally in Canada. All in all, I wish I could say better things about this restaurant. It's in my area and I'd been looking forward to trying it for a while. The food was not bad, but the portion sizes were really disappointing. I spent $80 after tax and tip on a meal and came away not much more full than I felt going in. On that alone, I can't recommend it. Also, the online menu is out of date despite the upload being labelled "July 2024." The prices have gone up since then - I ordered off the online menu for the drink and the second dish since the server had taken my physical menu by then, and I didn't realize that the lamb chops had gone up by $4 and the sodas by $2 when I ordered. No one's fault since I could've asked for a physical menu back, but just be mindful that the online menu isn't correct.
Good place for a family dine in. Ambience is unique with the feeling that you're in Georgia with the art around. Limited seating inside, but they also have seating outdoors during summer. Georgian Food here is non spicy but delicious, hearty and full of flavour. Freshly baked bread is outstanding! Each dish is sufficient for one person. So you may have to order quite a bit if you come in as a family.
I’ve never tried Georgian food previously, but I went to Tiflisi to see what it tasted like. We ordered four random dishes to split. The flavours were unique but the portions were on the smaller side. Service could be improved a bit too.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. First time trying Georgian food and it is delicious. The eggplant starter was really tasty. The main course of grilled lamb was tender. The homemade Georgian bread was good. Their khinkali are dumplings with soup inside, which is similar to xiao long bao, but bigger and more savoury. We had leftovers as we are gluttons and ordered too much. We heated up the leftover khinkali the next day for lunch with a bit of butter in a pan ... heaven. The service was friendly. Will definitely be back.
Excellent place, food tasted like I was back in Georgia will definitely be back.Great food!. Parking: Parking is there on the street if you can find it but no parking from 12.am-9am
Outstanding!
We tried this restaurant for the first time. The wait time was 45min although we were told by the waiter that it would take about 20 min. The food was very delicious and tasty but our orders came 15 min apart each which was too long. They said their food cook time is always this long . They brought a free piece of pastry as apology for the long wait which was a nice gesture. The prices are reasonable and the food portions are good. I will definitely recommend this restaurant but just keep in mind that there might be long wait times and food takes long to be served.
I ve been wanting to go here for a while and my husband surprised me on my birthday by bringing me there. Service was excellent! And the food absolutely delicious. Believe they re Michelin listed and so well deserved! Will definitely make this place a regular.
Love this place. The cuisine is consistently delicious, and the team is always welcoming.
Great food, nice people.
This place has incredible food in a really nice atmosphere!
Phenomenal first experience with Georgian food. Everything was delicious and great service to match.
Food was delicious. Service was fast and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend.
This is my favorite restaurant in Toronto. Get the khinkali, and beyond that, if it s your first time there, ask the servers for help ordering. The staff are lovely they will help you understand what you re ordering and the cultural context that goes with it. I literally moved to this neighborhood so that I could be closer to Tiflisi because I was tired of driving there every few weeks. Now I just walk over :)
We loved the food at this restaurant!!! We had never eaten Georgian food prior to this visit but will go back on our next trip to Toronto.
Good menu with many choices and help from the server to choose.
Great Georgian food in Toronto. Authentic flavours and great service. Highlights include the Assorted Pkhali ( think vegetable and nut spreads for bread ) Chkmeruli ( fried chicken in garlic and cream ), Khonkali (Georgian Dumplings), Khacapuri ( Georgian bread with melted cheese and butter), and for the adventurous Georgian Lemonade that is flavoured with Taragon ( sweet and fluoro green in colour - delicious ). An excellent TO eatery
f you re in search of authentic Georgian cuisine, Tflisi is a gem worth visiting. Tucked away in the south of Scarborough, this place brings the warmth and flavors of Georgia right to your table. The menu boasts traditional dishes like khachapuri, a cheese-filled bread, and khinkali, savory dumplings bursting with juicy fillings. The flavors are rich, with a delightful mix of spices and herbs that reflect the unique culinary heritage of Georgia. The restaurant was awarded with a Michelin star twice. Whether you re a seasoned fan of Georgian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is sure to impress. A must-try for anyone looking to explore something new and delicious!
very tasty food. the best khachapuri in my life. the waiter Anna was very friendly and pleasant. very warm attitude towards customers
I would recommend you to enjoy the exquisite taste of Georgian cuisine in the Tiflis restaurant. This is a delightful opportunity to experience a culinary tradition known for its rich flavors and vibrant dishes.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The food is beyond delicious - extremely flavourful and fresh. The staff are lovely and friendly and make you feel right at home. It also has a great atmosphere.
We were looking for Georgian cuisine and found this place. Food is not just amazing, it is awesome. Khinkalis are perfect, kebab with potatoes too. I highly recommend visiting this place. Staff is extremely professional, polite and respectful. I d put 6 out of 5 if I could.
One of the most delicious khachapuri Ive ever eaten. Special thanks for the Georgian atmosphere
Nice staff, good food. We like the recommendation to order two different styles of food and share.
Fantastic flavours, good prices, friendly staff. Id never had Georgian food and this was a great introduction. Definitely going in our rotation of East end eateries.
Delicious food, kind and helpful staff.
The food was pretty delicious, for the most part. Many of the selections are quite rich. I would guess its not a great place for vegetarians, or the lactose or gluten intolerant. I love how different the fare is from what I can usually find. The service was great one time, and ok another. Streetside patio in the summer. Definitely worth checking out.
Be careful, you can leave this establishment with a few extra kilograms, because it is difficult to stop eating. The food is very tasty, especially khachapuri
The staff were kind and attentive. The meals came on time, fresh from the kitchen. The food is mediocre at best. The lamb was overcooked and everything was overly salted. The chicken kebab was a minced, salty, and under cooked. The beef stew was nice, but small in portion and only had a couple of small beef cubes in it. The beef itself was on the chewy side so I did not enjoy that either. The best dish was Khachapuri with egg which is relatively simple. The bread was nice and cheese, butter, and egg mix made it extra good. The price does not justify the portion sizes or the quality.
The atmosphere of this place is amazing. The service makes you feel like part of the family. Absolutely delicious food. I recommend trying as many things as you can here!
Food was incredible. Great wine as well!
I had an amazing meal at Tiflisi! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Georgian flavors.
Nice authentic food everything was great
Delicious, fresh food and great service.
A real gem where you can sample exotic dishes from Georgia.
Great place. Prices are high though.
Tiflisi does Georgian food justice. Amazing kachapuri! Super cheesy. Edit: went again. Still fantastic. Food : 5/5
Hello, I want to say a few words about this wonderful restaurant. There is a very pleasant atmosphere here, everything is very homely. The portions are simply huge and incredibly tasty. Suitable for the whole family. Very friendly staff, the guys also speak Russian.
Was there for dinner with the wife. The food was good, the service was excellent, she helped with order since he had no experience with their menu. The food was expensive for what they charge a small portion, I would suggest to change the portion to the larger or bring the price down.
It was a comforting meal with lots of bread and fragrant herbs. The Georgian meat pie and dumplings were amazing, but I also loved the freshness of the assorted vegetable spreads. You really cant go wrong with anything there! Its well worth the hype, I absolutely loved it
I had a dinner in this restaurant. Everything was awesome. I had previously some misunderstanding in the take out options, but food was still awesome. After dinning in I can say that it s the best restaurant on the Beaches area. Food : 5/5
I could eat their khachapuri adjaruli every day - so amazing. Tried the fried mushrooms with cheese this time and they were absolutely incredible as well. We were scraping the last bits of cheese off the dish... Also highly recommend the pear lemonade - very unique and delicious taste.
Not a first visit and again great staff, great atmosphere and very tasty food
If you have never had Georgian food this place is worth a try. Their vegetable spreads appetizers are fantastic and their home made bread is very nice, kebabs specifically lamb was succulent. We also ordered their lamb stew which I wasnt crazy about, its really a winter food for me so I might have enjoyed it more when the weather is cooler, also Im coming from a culture that we have Verity of stews so Im hard to please when it comes to stews but overall good and amazing people with great service.
Very nice Georgian restaurant. I have tried sea bass and khacapuri, both were amazing.
Sadly, the food is definitely not what it s supposed to be, like they serve badrijani with some weird walnut blend, missing key herbs and spices that give it authentic flavor. AND they do not have lobiani Service was stunning from a sweet guy who speaks Georgian Food
Excellent restaurant, very tasty, polite staff
Very busy place but for good reason. Excellent food and unique wines.
Best food in Toronto.
Great food with a variety of dishes from Georgia and the Black Sea region. All of their Khachapuris and Salads are my favourites. Interior and summer exterior are great for dates.
So good!
Wonderful. Will be back!
amazing good, one of a kind, a place to go to for sure
Wow, my friend and I had an amazing lunch. With a great service. We are planning to go back again and again Food : 5/5
Very nice, cozy and tasty place. Highly recommend
The food was truly amazing and the service was friendly and fast. Will be back
The food was great, only negative was that the main dish came too quickly, and we were not ready with the appetizers
A heavenly experience, a gastronomic adventure into Europe, A Delicious and satisfying meal of unique flavour to indulge. We stumbled upon this place by accident but will definitely go back. The are so many more dishes to try. I had their Georgian beef stew, tried their house bread with Georgian assorted vegetarian paté (Pkhali) must try this. We also tried the Georgian salad. I have to go back and try their soup. Vegetarian options: Vegetable spread, said with nuts, lots of eggplant dishes, cheese and bread pizza like dishes, pies, etc.
This is the most delicious restaurant where I ate in Canada, the taste is almost like in Georgia , I recommend this restaurant to everyone.Nice people, good food, good prices
Ive been wanting to try khacapurri for a long time and we finally tried it. It was awesome. Dumpling were great too
Great introduction to Georgian food.
The food was really delicious and service was great! Menu is a little on the pricey side. Location is great, indoor and outdoor seating available. Card accepted.
Great Georgian food. I had small catering for 15 people. Everyone loves food.
I could eat khachapuri acharuli and greek salad everyday for the rest of my life.
This is simply THE BEST Georgian restaurant around downtown Toronto area. They are also on a Michelin guide book. Food is always delicious and the portions are huge. Inside interior is authentic with some nice music. The servers are the nicest people and can always take a reservation even if it s busy. Special thanks to server Angela who has always been quick, efficient and very polite. You guys are the best, keep up the great work!
Its a nice location one of the few authentic Georgian restaurants in the city. The food and the wine selection is what I would expect from the place like this. Try their khachapuri they are really good. Food
Been here twice this year as I m not from the area. Staff are friendly and helpful with deciding on menu items. The food is fresh and hot. Will return for sure!
The food was delicious!! I really recommend this restaurant. It is an amazing experience
Amazing food, great service and the ambiance is great to spend some time with friends or family. The recommendations from the waitress were just perfect and the flavors are so unique. 100% recommended!
Excellent restaurant and superb culinary trip to Georgia. Very friendly welcome (in French and English). Smiling waiter and generous with advice. The starters and main courses are top notch. It s fine and tasty. The explosion of flavors is there. Even if the bill is somewhat high, the overall quality of the meal makes us forget this detail!
First time trying Georgian food. Each dish was marvelous. Unfortunately they don t take reservations and we had to wait about half an hour.
The roof above our table had a leak and the water was dripping onto our table and food. I told a member of the staff and her reply was basically sometimes we get leaks and asked if wed like to move table, which we did. No offer to replace the food that was leaked on. Very surprising and disappointing response. Food that gets leaked on from the roof should be replaced, come on guys. edit: I spoke to the restaurant and re-explained the issue (water DID leak onto our food numerous times). He said he didnt appreciate the review and I should have called the manager instead to resolve this. I told him the review is a result of the service (I rated the food and atmosphere 4/5), and I did bring the issue to the staffs attention, who could have resolved the issue or spoken to the manager last night, but decided not too. A complimentary dish/voucher was suggested but I declined. I feel both the service and this review reply were poor and misguided.
Georgia restaurant visit here because of the high rate. The waitresses are friendly and fast services; The food is good; Reasonable price; Recommend the bread with beef, stewed one, beef or lamb.
This is my second time visiting this place, and I have an even better impression. The Gourmet Plate is 100% worth the food. I ordered a lamb kebab, pork shashlik, and aubergine rolls with cheese. Food
Service was kind and prompt. Our server was helpful in providing suggestions, and moving our tables. The food was a bit disappointing. The eggplant appetizer, and the main stew lacked a depth of flavor, that Ive enjoyed in similar items from similar Balkan cuisines. Our expectations were high given the rave reviews we had heard about this place. There are dozens of restaurants in the GTA that serve similar Balkan cuisines, where the quality of food is far superior. The service is excellent; but its a restaurant ultimately, and we wouldnt come back for the food.
What an amazing place. I m Georgian and the food is very authentic and it feels like home. The servers are very friendly
Love Georgian food and in Tiflisi its soooo delicious
Great tasty and fresh food. Flavours are amazing. Highly recommend.
Had Georgian food last in eastern Europe and this was a fantastic trip down that memory lane. Every single thing was great.
Pros: Nice place, friendly and fast service. Food is delicious and very close to authentic Georgian. Cons: prices are too high. Overall I would recommend the place provided that your re ready to pay $$$
Family Georgian restaurant where you can enjoy real authentic cuisine.
The restaurant Tiflisi is a wonderful place to eat Georgian cuisine. I visited this restaurant in April 2024 for the first time. I want to visit this place again but its really far from me - 20 km from Etobicoke. This restaurant is located near the road. There are many people and cars on this street. They have a big menu. There are many kinds of khinkali and khachapuri. They also have about ten kinds of salads. My favorite dish in this restaurant is khinkali with meat and lobio. I wanted to order a Georgian drink called Matsony but they didn t have it. The service is good! The servers are really friendly and polite. This food reminds me of a great time with my family. I am going to come to this restaurant again!
Delicious food, this is definitely worth a try. After visiting the restaurant, I wanted to order delivery via Uber Its, but all food has a markup of 5+ dollars, which was very disappointing.
amazing authentic Georgian food, if your in the area go check it out
Really authentic Georgian food and wines. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. I would recommend to try Harcho soup, lobio, any type of hachapuri and hinkali. Sometimes maybe issues with parking. Be ready to use GreenP app for parking. 3 hours = $12 Parking: Use GreenP app.
Amazing authentic Georgian food!
Great food!
Was craving Georgian food for a while and glad that I piked this restaurant to go to. It has very tasty and fresh dishes - our khachapuri was fresh baked (I know it s probably normal but I have only tried baked in advance khachapuri before, this one was steaming hot). Overall food was very tasty and stuff was very friendly and even told as the proper and more comfortable way to eat hinkali, which I didn t know before. Definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to try Georgian cuisine for the first time and for those who haven t eaten a proper Georgian cuisine in a while. Great place!
Food was great, they were busy the entire time we were there. Dinner for two with some great food options.
Got to try something new and was very impressed by the food.
Great place with reach tastes. For sure we will come back to try other food options.
Unfortunately, after two visits to this restaurant I was very dissatisfied. The tables and chairs were dirty. The waiters were very rude, disrespectful and simply threw our plates on our table instead of putting them down carefully. Namely, the waitress Angela who served our table was very rude and unprofessional. I am very disappointed with this restaurant and I really do not recommend visiting it.
Excellent Georgian food, pleasant and fast service
I went to this restaurant twice in a week. I believe its one of the tastiest cultural restaurants Ive been to. I am going to keep coming to try all their menu. I strongly recommend that cheese bread dip, its super good
This Georgian kitchen is a must-try, its a definite hidden gem. If you like meat and hearty delicious food this place is definitely for you.
A fantastic introduction to Georgian food. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the duck stew, beef stew khachapuri, and traditional dumplings. All were delicious and incredibly filling, although the khachapuri was the standout. The Turkish coffee was well-executed as well. Servers were quick, friendly, and helpful with navigating the menu.
Absolutely perfect in every way - had the beef stew and the cheese bread - they were phenomenal! Truly a Taste sensation - service was perfect too!
This is the best restaurant in Toronto. The food is very tasty. The service was perfect. Highly recommend
If you want to find a home made food -rich, filling, hearty, authentic, absolutely delicious, its right here, in Tiflisi. Come and bring friends, youll get unforgettable experience. Thank you guys for outstanding service!!!
If you are a foodie it s a must-go, plenty of different flavours to try at a reasonable price. The Khachapuri Acharuli is highly recommended!
Amazing! We loved every dish and every drink! Food
We had great service and food there.
A friend took us to experience his culture and we really enjoyed exploring all the various menu items! Its definitely a local favorite. Super fresh & authentic.
Good restaurant
This place is absolutely amazing! The service is awesome and the food is super delicious! I highly recommend coming here to Tiflisi! The only drag is finding parking but thats no ones fault so dont let that discourage you.
I found this place while browsing through the Michelin recommendations in the city and glad we ended up there. It was a packed Saturday evening and glad we made reservations a week in advance. The food was wonderful and you can tell they have a great source for their ingredients as you can taste the actual flavors of the produce. This was our first time trying Georgian cuisine and we loved everything we tried. The (imereti) eggplant with walnut sauce, dolma, pickled veggies, (chashushuli) beef stew, (kudbari) pork meat pie and chicken kebab were all amazing. Definitely going back.
Never had Georgian food before and it exceeded any and all expectations. They make their bread fresh which is so delicious. Dont forget to try the chicken in walnut sauce. A must!
Amazing food esp the kebab platter, Lobio in hot appetizers was awesome. Their kachapuris are fantastic Food
The food is good. There is a problem with the service. They asked us to hold the table, said that we would be there in 30 minutes, but they refused. They sat other customers right in front of our noses. Horror I will never come here again in my life and I will tell all my friends about the excellent service
Excellent food in a beautiful setting and great location
Fathers Day early dinner with my family. We are returning patrons. Youve done it again, Tiflisi .. thank you. Food : 5/5
Worst service I ve ever experienced, one waitress is very rude with bad attitude ; food is okay but patio seats are settled beside the roadside with very busy traffic : bus stop nearby / car parking with horrible dust . Totally ruined my Bday dinner .
Incredible food!
No resos accepted for parties of 2, so a bit of a wait on Saturday night (to be expected). Service was good as waitress made suggestions regarding what to order (1s time). Food was well seasoned and plentiful. A bit noisy inside. Food : 5/5
Incredible restaurant! Possibly the best in the Beaches! My wife and I have eaten here twice - first for dinner a while ago in the summer on the patio, and the second time was today for lunch. This has been our only exposure to Georgian food and we absolutely love it! Its unique, flavourful, and filling. Quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Nice place to sit with friendly attentive service. Today we literally had the best pork weve ever had. If youve never tried Georgian food, you need to try it at this place, you wont be disappointed!
We have been here for the first time and this is definitely not the last time. We came at around 12pm expecting that it might be somewhat different from the evening menu, however we were really pleased with how quick the food came and and most importantly how delicious it was. We are a little familiar with Georgian cusine and let me tell you this restaurant is on top of it and without a highly expensive pricing to it. Everything from Hinkali to Kebab and salad inbetween was amazingly tasty and perfectly done with right amount of everything. Also our server Anzhela was nice and friendly! Thank you for such a positive and warm experience!
went with great hopes because of the reviews but returned back disappointed.. food was average and service was mediocre.. did not felt warm with service
The best solianka in the city
Delicious authentic Georgian cuisine in the heart of Beaches.
First tried takeout from here, then went in person. Everything is fresh and so tasty!
Walked in with a party of 2 and luckily there was a table available. Recommended to reserve. Google shows high traffic times but beware that the restaurant was half empty when I arrived on a Wednesday at 1800hrs because of all the reservations. Absolutely amazing experience here! The staff are kind and the food is incredible. Khachapuri acharuli is one of my favourite dishes of all time and they do it really well here! Also love the khinkali - lamb says spicy but dont be afraid! Its quite light. Also Im grateful they do wines by the glass!! Saperavi is delicious. Definitely recommended to come with a party of at least two - dishes are large portions and its family style. Its a small restaurant so I wouldnt recommend more than 6 and definitely reserve if thats the case. I love coming here! If Im dining alone, I could crush an entire order of khinkali or khachapuri and be stuffed. For two people, both of those are still very filling, and we could have maybe added a third dish, like a salad or something light.
Delicious food, will be definitely coming back from Ottawa.
The food is okay but the way to get there is a quest. No reservations for two over the weekend does not make any sense. The excuse they re a small restaurant and the way how they speak to clients via the phone is not professional. Commuting there is not the easiest thing if you don t live close, so securing the table would be worth it.
Great authentic food and friendly service. It s great to go in groups and share many of the delicious menu items.
That was veery good and delicious!
Best kabab platter ever !
Great food, great service! Try soup Harcho!
You know the cheese bread is amazing, but the soup comes with a regular georgian bread and it is almost a meal in itself! It says spicy soup, but dont let that dissuade you, it is full of flavor! Cant wait to try the rest of the menu
Absolutely amazing food, exceptional service, and an impeccably clean environment. The freshness, quality, and taste of the food are truly out of this world. They undoubtedly deserve their Michelin mention.
The salad is amazing and so was the kebab. The beef stew was a bit liquid. Several dishes were not available and one advised it would take too long to make but we ended up waiting long for my stew so the chicken kebab with cheese would have made it as well but will go back for the kebab and salad for sure
What a memorable meal. They dont take reservations on the weekends, so we waited about 45 min. It wasnt a problem - we had a drink down the street and they called me when our table was ready. Ive never had Georgian cuisine before, so I have no point of comparison, but everything was delicious. We were immediately drawn to the khachapuri acharuli, the bread boat filled with gooey cheese, egg yolk and butter. Several tables around us had ordered it, and it looked amazing. We also ordered the chakapuli, a lamb stew brimming with chopped tarragon. When stewed with the lamb, the herb took on a much more mellow flavour and the broth was light & fragrant. Lastly, we had a cold eggplant appetizer stuffed with cheese and pickled vegetables. Georgian wines are also new to me. We tried a couple different types, but our favourite was the saperavi, a full bodied dry red wine. Everything was reasonably priced and it was such a great experience. I definitely want to come back to try more dishes (dumplings next time for sure)!
Very good experience, authentic and good cuisine. Fair prices. To recommend
Very good restaurant. The atmosphere, food, service are all great. Visit this restaurant and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Ladies that take order was very unfriendly and unpolite. She treat us like not guests but people who disturb her Food was amazing Food
We had the pleasure of eating here last night before a concert. The restaurant was incredibly charming and warm, service from the staff spectacular and everything we ate was delicious...not to mention the look and smell of everything coming out of the kitchen for other tables. Pricing was very fair, large and filling portions and the great quality. Well be back to try some of the other menu items.
I really miss a food back home, I was very excited to go to this restaurant, even though it s kinda far from dt. I just wanted to reserve a table, to make sure that when we get there, we will not have to go back bc everything is full. Apparently they don t make a reservation for 2 people, what doesn t make sense, bc they are always full, but it s fine. The way people talk to you on the phone just very unprofessional and impolite. My excitement immediately disappeared, thank you
Authentic Georgian cuisine, like the soup.
Enormous portions, fantastic food. Dont sleep on the khachapuri, Georgian cheese bread.
Very tasty and nice service. The restaurant is always busy so booking in mandatory.
I recently dined at this charming restaurant with a group reservation. The spotless interior and friendly, attentive staff set the stage for an outstanding dining experience. The food was simply delicious, with standout dishes like the savory eggplant appetizer and perfectly cooked steak despite a slight discrepancy in portion size. The roasted potatoes, mushrooms, and onions were also exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place - you wont be disappointed!
My partner and I have visited Tiflisi numerous times. It s the closest Georgian restaurant to downtown. The food is really delicious, with a lot of vegetarian options, and plenty of meat meals as well. My favourite vegetarian dish it s eggplant rolls. I m obsessed. Georgian wine is also the best, so sweet and flavorful. The servers are really friendly and helpful, except for one lady who wasn t very friendly during a call. In my opinion, the hot sauce, adjika, is really overpriced. I think it would be really good for business to have a booking system, maybe collaborate with OpenTable or similar platforms. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy Georgian food and wine.
This is literally the best spot in Toronto! Its absolutely delicious! The fantastic chef cooks incredible khinkali, khachapuri, and every other dish weve tried. The Kubdari is a masterpiece, and the Schkmeruli makes you forget everything you knew about chicken before. The service is exceptionally perfect! If you need to impress someone with fantastic cuisine, this is the best place. Even if you dont know what the names of the dishes mean, order anything at random - you wont regret it! We visit this spot for every family celebration. Outstanding place!
Amazing food. Bread and cheese has never tasted so good. The Khachapuri Acharuli was definitely a favourite. The dumplings and the kebab platter didnt disappoint either.
Waitress was friendly, decor was cute and the food was delicious especially the cheese bread
Great food, but awful service
