It was like a KISS CONCERT...OPA OPA ALL NITE PEOPLE ... but No Karpuzzi...

Understaff, inexperienced,

Basic plate with potatoes, rice (some of which was still raw), and 2 kebabs (dry af) for $23 is a joke. Best part of the meal was the Salad We also ordered the Ikaria pasta which has seafood in it. Let me tell you this much, Ive yet to SEE any FOOD in the pasta. $25 dish with 3 shrimps, and 1 scallop, no mussels. Kind of disappointing. This place fell off.

Eating inside is a better experience mainly. This review is more for if you are ordering online with promo s because this isn t the first time this has happened with buy 1 get 1 deals. For both chicken souvlaki orders rice was grey and smelt foul which also affected the potatoes that were on top of the rice. Consistency is key, this happens mainly when you order on Uber. Never had a problem eating in or ordering regular items online.

Ate here last night with 3 friends. We placed our order, about 4 appetizers and 4 main meals, and the server literally brought everything out all at once!! The table was completely jammed with food and plates. Why would we want all of the food ordered to come out at the exact same time for??? Why?? So half of it can get cold?? That made for an uncomfortable dinner, trying to navigate the table full of food. I really don t know what the server was thinking! We were all shocked that all of our food came out at once and I don t know why we didn t say why is everything coming out at once for??? Like anybody with eyes would see our table was FULL. There was a manager walking around but clearly he didn t notice as it was a super busy evening at the restaurant being Easter Friday. It just put a damper on our dinner, and wasn t enjoyable because it felt very rushed. Imagine having 8 dishes dropped on your table all at once, and then of course 4 side salads were dropped off AFTER our apps and mains were on the table. Makes zero sense and It really bothers me to think about it now. What a waste of a night out for dinner. The food was fine. The music and entertainment were great, but I wouldn t go back here.

We dropped in at Megas on a busy Saturday night before a late show time. They fit our table of 6 without a reservation, and we were glad they did. The service was very good - quick, attentive, and polite. We ordered a variety of appetizers, and they were all very good. Our main course selections were pretty basic - a selection of souvlaki options - all were enjoyed. Megas has an informal atmosphere, and there was live music that evening. Definitely worth another visit.

Great place to share a meal...decent portion sizes...with bread and salad... We started with the pita and 3 dip...very tasty $25, and had the pork souvlaki (little salty), And lamb shank (not fall of the bone tender) but still well seasoned and good mains 25-35$ Our friends had the chicken souvlaki, and the moussaka Alcohol little pricy but isnt that the case these days... Would recommend...great atmosphere with live DJ...from 8pm (bit loud so was time for us to depart).

I ordered from Uber Eats and the food arrived cold and the Greek salad arrived with no salad dressing. My chicken souvlaki came freezing cold and so did the French fries. No excuse for no salad dressing. I will never eat here again!!!!!

Went for a birthday celebration and had an amazing time! Our waitress was attentive, funny and quick (we had a large party). She also educated us about Greek food an culture, even showing us some Greek dances! Definitely coming back!

Went there on Saturday night. We were a party of 26. The service was decent and food was average. If you are planning on getting your ears tuned and ringing for days, then please do stop by on a Saturday night. They had a live band that night. The music and singers voice was so loud that we could not have a simple conversation with the person sitting beside you let alone across the table. We asked the waitress number of times and even spoke to the owner of the place. Nothing was done about it. I would definitely not be going there again anytime soon.

The portions are very generous and everything we ordered were very flavourful. Cant wait to come back and try rest of their menu.

The foods quality was ok but it wasnt perfect. The price was good and it was worth the price. The food was a lot and I could take the left over for tomorrows lunch.

Not sure if i will be returning after my first experience. My gf and I ordered calamari as an appetizer and i must say it was the best calamari i have ever eaten! I was super excited for our mains to come out. It took about 45 minutes between courses which was unbelievable. Our server Nick said it was because of a busy kitchen but there was not many people in the restaurant as it had just opened. We eventually got our mains the beef kabob and lamb shank which were sub par- my gf asked for mid rare beef kabob it was over cooked and dry. My lamb shank didnt meet my expectations what shouldve been fall of the bone if cooked properly it was a fight to eat it especially with a butter knife to cut it off the bone. After our dinner we asked for a takeout container and the bill. The container was provided and no bill. We ended up timing it 20 minutes and still no bill so we got up and said something. After paying out server Nick noticed he actually gave us the wrong bill, i did not review it as i assumed servers are competent enough to be print off the correct tables bill. After another 5 minutes and he came back to have us pay the difference in price. I dont feel like i should have paid the extra 20$. Told him i couldnt believe we waited 20 minutes just to get the wrong bill. Nothing was done, no apology, no thank you have a good day. The only reason i would go back would be for the Calamari but would only order takeout.

We ordered takeout from there, in addition to it being over an hour and a half late, the side veggies were burnt and the portion of the large chicken slouvaki was laughable. Even the hummus (which any decent Greek place should excel at) didn t taste like anything. I would recommend saving your money or going somewhere else.

The food is mediocre at best. Total lack of communication between the hostess, waitress and the kitchen. We were asked to vacate our table only 10 minutes after we received our second bottle of wine! They claimed they had a 2-hour seating limit. This was never communicated to us, not even when we were ordering our second bottle of wine. This is ridiculous.

I went there with my 2 children for mothers day yesterday. Waiter was nice thats about it. Ordered an appetizer that required bread and waited until our app was cold and asking for bread 3 times before getting it. Then got the salad portion of my meal that consisted on a handful of lettuce, one piece of tomato, and one olive and no feta or dressing. THEN waited almost 40 min for our meal. We ordered a large size dinner and received 2 piece of potaoes, a small portion of rice and over cooked souvlaki. I know it was mothers day but I noticed other customers complaining about the long wait for food. Last, my 8 year old asked for a shirly temple and I was charged $10! Asked for a managet and got tired of waiting so we left. Will not go back.

Came over on a Sunday afternoon. Food was the usual three courses, good sized. However, taste was just ok. Only one vegetarian option for dinner. Waiter was quite rude, and seemed very stressed even though the restaurant wasn t terribly busy.

Food is great. Service a bit slow because place is super busy. Music is too loud (cant really talk and be heard). Cigarette smoke gets inside from people smoking outside. Or could be someone was smoking inside.

The open atmosphere, music, and service makes this a fun place to be. The musicians were very good and we enjoyed our time. At times it was too loud making it hard to talk and it would have been nice to have frequent stops between sets. The service was good, the washrooms were clean. The food was overcooked dry and not very tasty. The salad, dzadziki and calamari were tasty. Lamb was over cooked and the best item on the BBQ menu, the rest I wouldnt touch. Would I go back again? Only if I had a reason to, otherwise the food was the main loser, so no. I recommend that the chef use an instant meat thermometer to test when the meat is cooked, and deliver a tasty meal. With only a little effort his place could be a winner with simple adjustments.

Loved the atmosphere and service but the food is lacking. Overpriced calamari that was nothing special and the souvlaki pita only had three pieces of dry chicken, Tzakiki, tomato and French fries (in the wrap???). I m sure there are more creative places on the street

The chicken souvlaki was SO dry and burnt and overcooked it was like chewing leather. The waiter came over THREE times and asked my husband if he was done with his salad when he was clearly still eating. It would almost be comical if it hadn t been so annoying. Everything else was very over oily and bland. The music needed to be about half the volume it was to be enjoyable. They never brought us our bill, just the machine with an (overinflated amount) punched in. We ll not be returning.

Calamari where some of the best Ive ate and the entrance plate to share is to much for two but is quite savory.

The food was very good and good value. I especially like the Taramosalata, (salmon eggs/ caviar) dip with peta. I had excellent beef souvlaki, tasty potato wedges.

We went in at around 8pm. The server seated us immediately. He seemed in a hurry to put in a drink order. At 8:10pm, he told us that we MUST put in our food order as the kitchen was closing. He also told us that the restaurant closed at 9pm. On Google, it says 10pm close time. He said they have been having problems with Google. The restaurant website also advertises the close time of 10pm. The salad was soggy and brown. We were charged for bread without being informed. The bread was not fresh and was crumbly. The pork was sinewy and lamb tasted like end of the day, overcooked scraps. Next time, don t invite us in. It s dishonest and mean to serve customers stale food, then have the nerve to lie about closing time and rush them out!

Food is good as usual but when we were leaving the guy who was taking care of our table surprised me when he ask for 15% minimum service tip, i was ok with it even thought he supposed to tell us before even ordered anything! And then when i was paying he put 25% tip and gave me the machine, probably he thought i was drunk or not paying attention so basically he was trying to rip me off!! Overall this place was much better just a year ago now is so pricey and different! I recommend it but when a group goes there make sure to ask about payment and minimum service tip before ordering anything.

AMAZING ROULA catered for my companys function at the last minute panic attack I was having! Takis quickly put together amazingly large filled trays individually of chicken souvlakia, rice, vegetables, roasted potatoes, the largest village salad you can imagine, tzatziki, olives and freshly baked bread!!!! The entire Team bragged about the food to others that did not make it for weeks. Once again, on behave of my company HZVP and I, we thank you all at MEGAS !! Not enough staff during taste of Danforth to do sit down service. Waited over 30 mins to try and put order in, got one waiter attention he acknowledged but never came back..servers avoidong eye contact. Other people left too after wait for long period of time unable to place order. I understand is busy but if are unable to manage both sit down and the taste of Danforth they should not open the sit down area

This restaurante had live music, it was too busy on Saturday, so we had late our dishes, so go with enough patient for that, it was Danforth festival maybe thats why, people there is very kind, food delicious and very nice place to hang

Came in to eat during Taste of the Danforth and was sat quickly. We were given water, menus, and a basket of bread within minutes of sitting down. We waited for over 40 minutes for us to place a drink order, during which time we saw other tables who were sat after us ordering and getting their food/drinks. We finally managed to wave down a server after the 40 minutes to see if we could order drinks with them. They said they were backed up and food would take a while to come out, so we decided to leave since it had already taken so long to even speak with a server.

We love going here. Nice patio and the food is really good. The portions are generous and the chicken is so juicy and tasty. Their take out special of 2 wraps is a delicious and affordable option.

My family and I had the absolute worst restaurant experience here. It started with the waitress Margarita taking all our food and drink orders incorrectly. The restaurant wasnt even that busy when we arrived, but it took over 1.5 hrs to get our food, when we finally got the orders half of our family didnt get their food at all so they had to wait another extra hour. The food, especially the chicken was terribly hard, the music was unbearably loud that we all walked out with headaches. It feels like our table was put by the front window as we were a big crowd to attract other customers since we made the restaurant look full. The manager or owner was too busy trying to make it look like its entertaining in her restaurant by dancing all by herself most of the time instead of listening to our complaints about our food orders. We were there for 4 hours because thats how long it took for everyone to get fed. Will highly not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if you are going with a family, as they are poorly operated, the food is not comparable to other restaurants in Danforth, and service is just simply terrible.

My recent visit to this restaurant was a total disaster. They messed up a staggering 10 out of our 15 orders, and the food, especially the meat, was inedibly tough. To make matters worse, they completely missed three of our orders, leaving us hungry and frustrated. The servers rude demeanor didnt help improve the experience. Even a simple beer order took an agonizing 30 minutes to arrive, and our food didnt show up until 90 minutes after ordering. Needless to say, our entire group left deeply disappointed and upset. This place is a letdown, and I wouldnt recommend it. I m honestly surprised to see any 5 star review for this place. The neighbouring tables didn t even eat their food never again!

Waiter and waitress have no manners. He was grabbing stuff off our table. She stood right beside us staring as we were trying to pay our bill. Meat was good. Fries were burnt. Salad was bland. Best of all we were served two pieces of WONDER BREAD with our meal. Ive never been to a Greek restaurant like this. Music was excellent and thats about it.

I have to say that I had the WORST experience in this restaurant. We came in as group of 15 and had a birthday. They sat us quickly and brought water and menus fast. They brought sliced stale bread with butter. After we had to wait 90 agonizing minutes for our food to arrive, Mind you we had 5 kids under 5 with us that were starving. After the 90 minutes wait they managed to forget food for half our table INCLUDING the kids food who were already getting frustrated from hunger. Then while complaining to the server she just left WITHOUT taking our complaints in consideration to a point that we had to go and speak to the owner. Needless to say the birthday was ruined and we left disappointed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. Save your MONEY and TIME and go to another restaurant. P.s the meat was overcooked and hard

This place was a disaster. 1. Service took way too long and drinks, appetizers and food was too long. Appetizers came after the mains were done (because they forgot) 2. When we finally got our food it was all wrong and some orders completely forgotten. I ordered a large souvalaki and got a small (on my bill I was charged for the large). Other people at my table got gyro and got a kabob instead. The server even mistaked we had ordered a saganaki and the guy who flamed it for us was pissed she got it wrong and it wasnt our table who ordered it. The funny thing is they said its on the house and then ENDED UP CHARGING US ON THE BILL FOR THEIR MISTAKE 3. The food was overcooked, I couldnt spear my fork through the chicken, the beef kabob looked like it was left out for days being so dry

Entertainment was the only positive thing at this restaurant. The food and service did not reflect a true greek experience. And yes I am Greek. The waiter physically nudged my shoulder from behind me asking me if I finished the wine bottle. He grabbed my glass cause it was empty DO NOT touch my glass with your hands sorry, we had wine in the bottle left over. Food was not worth it sorry. The pork was full of fat and burnt fries. When we asked for the bill we let the waitress know we are paying cash we do not need the machine. She literally stood over our shoulders. She pissed me off that they got a minimal tip and I ended up putting cash in the bus boys hand instead cause he had manners! No thanks Megas.

Enjoyed the food - portions were big and most of it was flavourful. Tried the chicken souvlaki dinner, saganaki, moussaka and Greek fries. The latter two I would say you could skip. Went on a Saturday night and it was very lively, a great Greek band started playing around 8ish. It is very loud so if youre looking for an intimate dinner this wont be for you.

Don t go there if you like to have conversations during dinner, it was way too loud. Food came out cold and little to no flavour. Only nice thing was the live entertainment.

After a summer break I went to this restaurant. I notice that their service significantly went down. We were served by Yanis at our table, a person I ve never seen before. Everybody was almost done eating when I was not even served. I had to make a motion after so long to figure it out if food was coming at all. There was a bigger surprise when my Moussaka was served after all. I noticed there was almost no ground beef inside! I guess it is because of the inflation, they need to prepare cheaper meals to support their business. We are just not going to their restaurant anymore. There are better places where we can go to in Greek town.

Megas is a hidden gem I think since some of the nearby restaurants are more well known that less people seem to be at Megas. But I almost hesitate to mention how great it is since I love the calm open relaxed atmosphere there and there always seems to be at least one open table. The food is spectacular my favourite by far is the Gyro dinner which comes with their amazing Greek salad where they crumble the feta perfectly so you get some in every bite. The meal also comes with some amazing homemade bread which you will end up asking for more. The Gyro is made differently and prepared and presented differently than I have ever seen. The pieces are cut smaller and thicker into beautiful bit size morsels that tantalize your taste buds along with the Tzatziki (which you may also ask for more it is spectacular as well. Overall I loved my many meals at Megas, although I haven t tried everything on the menu, everything I have ordered has been the best I have ever had I highly recommend Megas

Megas Restaurant offers good food, but falls just short of greatness. The menu offers a decent variety of dishes, and the flavors are generally satisfying. However, there might be some room for improvement in terms of presentation and consistency. If youre looking for reliable and tasty options, Megas is worth a visit, but dont expect a culinary masterpiece.

Held my daughters engagement party @megas restaurant on October 28 for almost 50 people . Experience from the start with Jim the owner to the actual day was Best in Class - Food outstanding ! Service Outstanding! Music Outstanding ! For reference this is the 1st time I have ever rated a restaurant. Highly recommend.. Big thank you to Mégas for exceeding our expectations . Easily the best Greek salad Ive ever had, unfortunately the souvlaki was too well done and therefore tough. Friendly efficient service but the live music was way too loud to allow for conversation over dinner.

Suffice to say this was one of the worst dining experiences I ve had in the Danforth in a long time. Megas was recently acquired by new owners a few years ago and the restaurant unfortunately has declined since. The floor was filthy with spilled drinks and paper napkins. We ordered the taramosalata which they used to be notorious for. Sadly, it was runny and flavourless which is a stark difference from how good it used to be. The fried calamari was rubbery, the gyros was burnt and oily, and the jumbo shrimp were not so jumbo. They were small and frozen. The drinks were flat and the glasses smelled like bleach. And, the service was lacklustre at best. The new Megas is incredibly disappointing and lacks the homey, authentic feel and taste that it once had. Save your money and venture out to try some of the other spots on the Danforth.

From runny taramasalata to store bought size jumbo shrimp, the food was beyond disappointing considering the dinner we had last night was for a special occasion and celebrating a birthday. The restaurant itself is lack lustre in the cleanliness and atmosphere, and our service wasn t the greatest either. Our server forgot to bring out the extra pitas we requested and made no effort to accommodate anything because of it. The calamari were mini rubber tires and flavourless, the tzatziki dip was so thick it almost seemed like it was cooked frozen and was more dill and yogurt and nothing else. The shrimp cocktail at my local Loblaws sells bigger shrimp than my $32 plate I had (in addition to my grilled vegetables being mushy) that were over salted and over-cooked. All 4 of us were extremely displeased as the restaurant had previous owners 5 years ago that ran the place far differently. If you re looking for authentic Greek food, steer clear and far away from this place and do not waste your money.

Very nice greek casual restaurant in the heart of of greek town. The staff was super nice and attentive. Food was yummie! I have tried their moussaka which comes with side salad, my husband took souvlaki with greek salad! Both were yummie. If you don t have favorite appetizer, you can try different appetizers in a platter. I just didn t like their cocktails. The rest was good.

Came here with friends as we broke off from a Christmas themed pub crawl. Must say the service was swift and excellent and the food was to die for. The gyros dinner was perfect with amazing fresh house made taztziki (I think) and potatoes that were so soft and well seasoned they borderline melted. The Saganaki was delicious and stayed warm for a long period of time, as was the hummus which you could tell was freshly made in house. The musicians graced us with song after song and added to the ambience wonderfully. 5/5 will go again

The food tasted good. I really enjoyed the roast lamb. I ordered via ubereats and the driver didn t pick up the full order. The restaurant took initiative without being asked and did exceptional customer service to ensure everything was made okay.

The service of this place is very bad.They took more than 1 hr to have our service out and there werent many tables and everything was a mess. After they gave us dinner in parts after waiting a long time, our order was wrongly taken by the waitress, 3 of the dishes were incorrect. In the end, the waitress wanted to forcefully charge the 20% tip. Terrible service and long waiting time.

First time going , waited over a hour to get our food. Actually to even get served we waited 1 hour just for her to come take our order. It s ok to wait when it s a busy day like Mother s Day. But to get our food very cold is uncalled for. I m not talking about 1 plate I m talking about 8 plates a big group. Also when we acknowledged the waitress she said what can I do? Well how about taking the plate off the bill when we gave it back to you and didn t even touch it. Never again!!!!!! Horrible dinner plates!!! There bread was regular toast that was stale.

The food was okay but understaffed. People were being served that came in after us. We kept having to flag them down. We asked for ketchup but they said they were all out. Lol

Terrible experience. Ordered delivery. The bag was clearly overloaded and some contents spilled as a result. Gemista and Moussaka are not at all like they appear in the pictures. Did I even get the right items? Overall, pretty upsetting experience.

I had to wait 30 minutes for my take out order even when I had ordered before coming.

Late night Vibe. Traditional Greek music and dancing. A little loud but went with the atmosphere. Food was fresh, even though it was late night. Price point was good. Definitely recommend.

Great food selections, service and prices, and dont forget the live music Saturday night.

Very aesthetic, instagram worthy interior. They were accommodating as well, we did not have reservations. But the food was not so good. Ordered greek fries 10/10, hummus 5/10, gyros 8/10and Lima beans 1/10, beans dish was soupy and cold and it did not have any taste at all.

The food was nice, I was not happy with one of the waiters, a blonde tall girl. She was very rude, we said to her: We are ready to order , she replied - Well I am not, you have to wait because I have other tables to send orders . We stayed there for 2 hours, and 3 couples left because of the way she spoke to them! We were lucky that she did not served us, otherwise we would have left too! Also, the water guy, the young little boy, was very nice too!

Worst experience I have ever had on a restaurant. We went with our friends to enjoy the dinner and the authentic greek food. However not only was our mood ruined because of the service , but even the other customers left the restaurant. There was this blond tall woman , with an ugly attitude. She was beyond rude on serving us as well as the other customers. We asked if we could order and she replied with so much rudeness , then another server came to attend us. The second server was nice and if it was not for her we would have left the place immediately. However the other customer were not so lucky, they had to deal with this girl and they left the restaurant without ordering at all(4tables left) . The restaurant deserves 5 for the food , but with the service we got, even 1 star is too much to rate.

Delicous and Authentic Greek food. Definitely one of the best places in the GTA/Toronto to go enjoy a Mediterranean atmosphere with mouth watering Greek dishes while enjoying the live singers and music.

I star only for the wine Greek salad dry, brown ice berg lettuce, no olive oil or vinegar I ordered at 200pm received order if salad at 245 pm Gyros Dinner salt beyond gagging dry Dont eat here, horrible service, dry food, Will not return

I wont recommend to anyone, 1st they made us to sit by the vending machine, we had to sit in there for 30 min to move to somewhere else and then I had to wait 50 min to get my fish!

Went with my four kids and wife got burgers for kids and the burgers looked like Walmart burgers also got calamari bad smell and salty And had chicken and pork souvlaki both hard like rubber I honestly do not recommend this place at all waiters were super nice but food was the worst I ve ever had

The food, ambiance, and service was great. Our waitress was very attentive to every single one of our concerns. The only one downfall was that the live music (on Saturdays) was way too loud for my liking. We had to scream at the top of our lungs just to talk to each other at the table, and also to the servers. Other than that, the portion sizes were generous, the food was amazing and perfectly seasoned, and we had plenty of food to take back with us! Their hummus dips were to die for. But the star of the show were definitely the lamb chops. I would give it a 5 star but the music (although beautiful) was deafening

Visited Megas by accident while walking down Danforth, by far the best Chicken Souvlaki i have ever tried there seasoning and oils really put flavour on the Table. They have live entertainment and service was amazing. I recommend if in the Danforth area. Real taste if Greece in every bite.

Absolutely fantastic! We were a group of 4 and we all totally enjoyed our food. Moussaka was excellent, chicken souvlaki was moist and so flavourful. Potatoes melted in your mouth. Prices so reasonable. Extra bonus, there was a live band.

This restaurant is terrible, portions are tiny I ordered jumbo scallops received tiny over cooked scallops. Also, I wouldn t call this authentic Greek food, as someone who comes from Greece and has been back multiple times this restaurant is a disappointment vs other restaurants such as Athens Restaurant or Pape village restaurant those remind me of Greece. Also, food is way overpriced and portions minuscule I will never come back here again.

We sat on the patio after being seated by the gentleman at the front desk where you are instructed to wait to be seated. Once seated with menus in hand, we were promptly ignored for 15 minutes. At one point the same gentleman after seating another couple said he would be back to take our order. We continued to wait, and realizing he was not returning any time soon, left, and are now seated at a neighbouring restaurant, already with menus and water in hand. Very disappointing, this used to be a good place.

Pleasantly surprised, first time here, 4 of us, good selection of Greek plates, well cooked, nice sized portions, flavourful and yummy, all at a fair price, we will be back.

Good food, ambience (with live music!) and friendly service, but food took a really long time to come. We ordered a meat platter and I understand its a lot of food, but in my opinion 1-1.5 hours waiting time for a restaurant is no good.

The food was ok. The service was not the best, the waitress kept pushing for us to order more, was very rude when we didnt, didnt come around with water, took forever to ask for the bill, and when it did arrive, it was slammed on the table and she dashed away. Probably wont be returning here.. I must add, aside from the service received, the restaurant was nice, great aesthetic, nice Greek vibes, felt authentic. Loved the open concept, with patio seating!

Hey name Is nirary I went to megas restaurant I had the most shitest experience and the waitersss was rude and he only Showed up twice and grabbed the machine out of my friends hands and said to give more tip ..more like megas crab

Ordered a large chicken souvlaki, fried calamari and Greek salad. The wait for my food took almost an hour but it was worth it. The chicken souvlaki has so much flavour, moist, juicy and has just a tiny amount of char. Calamari is close to the best I ve tried in the surrounding restaurants in Greek Town and the salad was fresh and has a generous amount of feta. Amazing customer service also.

Food and portions are on point. Perhaps due to the pandemic, service seems lacking.

The first thing I d highlight is that if you re looking for a quiet spot - this is not it. Megas is a super animated restaurant with a live band in the evenings playing traditional Greek music and a convivial vibe. The ceilings and walls are blinking from nightclub style lights that feel a bit overkill but is part of the point and the whole experience :p The food meets my expectations for the price point - it definitely satisfies a craving for Greek food. The bbq platter was more than enough food for 4 adults. The a la carte souvlaki dinners are worth the price and they also have souvlaki on a pita for a very affordable price. This place is super fun and it is meant to be noisy and lively. They serve everyone (of drinking age) blue slushy shots to top it off.

Pork souvlaki was tough. Not enough pita bread with tzatziki appetizer. We were forgotten alit of the time even though the restaurant was not busy. Meals came at different times

Nice family or date place

Ate here our last night in Toronto, a Tuesday. The service and food were great and the staff is kid friendly. We were surprised they werent busier. Kid-friendliness: Our 5 (& 3/4)-year old granddaughter was with us and the staff was very friendly and accommodating towards her.

We had a Christmas party at Megas and the food, staff and service were all excellent!
