The grilled fish that Tony recommended and prepared for me was absolutely. Also, highly appreciate Jacks service, he was electric and very attentive. I had a couple bites of the steak (medium rare) and I enjoyed it as well.

We came from Saskatchewan to Toronto for the first time, and ran into Jason, our server, while having coffee. He recommended we try his restaurant, and it surpassed everything we expected! The staff is very welcoming! The service and food was impeccable! Petras82 has mastered the art of making a stranger a friend!

An excellent meal in a lovely setting g with wonderful service. Very fresh fish with flavorful sauces. Chicken is good too. Refreshing, perfectly dressed salad. An outstanding restaurant.

I recently dined at Petros82, a Greek restaurant with an excellent selection of fish dishes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with nice decor. The seafood was the star, especially the grilled red bream, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The menu also offered a variety of classic Greek dishes and the grilled octopus appetizer being a standout. The service by Jack Jason was impeccable, and the chef s visit to our table added a personal touch. Overall, Petros82 is a gem for an authentic Greek dining experience.

We recently celebrated my dad s birthday at this incredible Greek restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff were fun, down-to-earth, and provided the most AMAZING service we ve ever had in Toronto (and trust me, I ve been to many restaurants!). Tony, the chef, was a highlight of the night. He was so fun, engaging, and you could truly feel his genuine energy and love for what he does. He took the time to personally explain all the fresh fish options, and he was so good that he even convinced my sister who NEVER eats seafood to order a fish dish and genuinely enjoy it! Jack and Jason were equally fabulous, delivering exceptional service with professionalism and warmth. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the evening truly special. The entire team created a lively, welcoming atmosphere that made my dad s birthday celebration so memorable. This is hands down the best service I ve experienced in Toronto, and I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you, Tony, Jack, and Jason, for a night we ll never forget!

We came to Petros82 to celebrate our one year until our wedding date, and it was absolutely spectacular! Chef Tony was extremely hospitable and his dishes were absolutely divine. Quite honestly the best Greek cuisine my fiancé and I have ever tasted. Jason, our server, was amazing, very hands on and interactive. Nothing but a pleasant experience. Highly recommended. I can t even begin to express my gratitude for everyone at Petros82. We held a small gathering here after our wedding church service, and the entire process, from arranging and booking, the set up, all the way to the dinner service, was seamless and easy. A huge thank you to Antonio for taking the time on multiple occasions to listen to my fiancé and myself, and for executing the perfect evening for us. Antonio was very detail oriented and provided us with every single option possible. He was always very easy to reach and followed up with us throughout the whole process. The food was beyond amazing, the portions were generous, and all the serving staff were diligent and accommodating. The atmosphere is beautiful, and I m so pleased with how the night went. Don t second guess booking your events here.

This is my third visit to Petros82. Often, with a first visit, one is impressed with the food and service. I prefer to sample multiple dishes on multiple visits before writing a review. This restaurant has some of the best fish I have ever eaten. The service is also among the best that I have ever encountered. Nick, the manager, has instilled a gracious and customer focus culture in the staff. Tony, the chef, is unusual in that he walks the floor and interacts with diners. Benjamin at the bar has vast knowledge of wine and spirits, which is readily shared with guests. The oysters are fresh and tasty. The house pringles are outstanding. The saganaki is a bit different, but its so good. The 82 Board is impressive and delicious. The fresh fish is a bit dear but so good and perfectly prepared. I have taken Tonys recommendation for the fish each visit and have been overjoyed with the dish. The Greek wines are excellent. The French and Italian wines on the list look great, but I will be sampling them on future visits, so I can not provide an evaluation in this review. For great food, great service, great wine, and an excellent dining experience as a single, a couple, or group in Totonto. Petros82 is the place to go for a great dining experience.

Loved our Friday evening at petros82. Food is absolutely delicious and our server Jack was friendly and efficient. Chef Tony also came over and had us try his new sauce. Its was spicy and hot and I loved it. Everything we tried was amazing. Started with Grilled octopus, oysters and saganaki. Ended with European sea bass and lamb chops!

Wow. They say the secret to great food lies in fresh ingredients, and this restaurant truly delivered. I ordered the seafood tower, and it was a masterpiece. The oysters, lobster, king crab, and jumbo shrimp were nothing short of perfection by far the best Ive ever had. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the ocean. Not to mention the impeccable service the staff changed the waste bowls multiple times without us asking and even treated us to a few complimentary items. If youre looking for top-tier seafood and exceptional service, this is the place to be.

Where do I start? Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the amazing front of house. Our waiter, Jason, was fantastic; he was warm and checked in often despite it being a busy night. The overall service was 20/10, with a short wait time for food and drinks. I have to give a shout out to Chef Tony. He has such a vibrant personality. The chefs interaction was a nice personal touch. A must-try on the menu is the Red Snapper. It was so darn good, and be sure to get the cheesecake.

This is my second dinner at Petros82 with friends. The food continues to impress and satisfy -- fresh ingredients excellently prepared by Chef Tony and his kitchen staff. LOVE the seafood (oysters, fish, calamari) and I tried the beef souvlaki this time around and it was perfect. The greens that came with the souvlaki was too salty; otherwise, everything was top-notch Greek cuisine. Another stand-out was the service. Our server, Jack, was not only attentive to our every need, he also knew the food and drink menu inside out and gave great advice. Benjamin the sommelier was also helpful. I will definitely go back!

I have to say I was absolutely blown away by this Restuarant. We came in for a conference and decided to look for a Greek/mediterranean option. We were seated quickly and the server allowed us to personally meet their Executive Chef, Tony. He helped us hand pick our meal of fresh snapper, oysters, octopus and lamb chops. Honestly, the food was out of this world. Weve been to Greece multiple times and it was literally like being there. My mouth watered the entire time! The cocktails were also amazing and our service was second to none! The manger personally checked in on us and made us feel right at home! I cant wait to come back to this place! Once they optimize their patio this place will be packed! Do yourselves a favour and stop in for a treat!

Over and beyond amazing service at Petros82 in downtown Toronto. This restaurant is a must visit. The food, especially the sea food bar, is fresh and the fish is also wild caught. The tastes are unbelievably incredible. It is like you are on the Ionian sea eating in Greece. Highly recommend server Jack T. and outstanding service from Tony who is one of the chefs at the restaurant. The vibe in the atmosphere is very relaxing and charming. 10/10 all across the board!!!

We came here based off the other reviews. A group of us came to celebrate a few birthdays. The chef, Tony showed us the fresh fish options and came to our table to give us recommendations for the evening. They whole staff worked together to ensure we had a great experience. Allllll the food was well prepared and seasoned to perfection!! Well be back for sure.

This was my second time dining at Pétros 82 for a private event during TIFF, and once again, they exceeded all expectations. The service and food are simply spot on. The staff were incredibly friendly, and attentive, and constantly made sure our table was cleared of empty plates, paying close attention to every detail. Their customer service is unmatched. The food? Absolutely magnificent. Appetizer after appetizer, each dish was better than the last. I had the honour of chatting with Tony, the head chef, whose passion for food was contagious. His enthusiasm made the dining experience even more exciting. I also had the pleasure of meeting Nick, the General Manager, who is just the sweetest. He shared more about the restaurants story and made me feel so welcome, inviting me back anytime. Wow, what an amazing experience. The food was incredible, one of the best meals I ve had, on top of that the staff was amazing. Our waiter jack was incredible, he was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. 10/10!

Came here with my partner for our anniversary and it was a great experience. The staff (Faisal & Chef Tony) were welcoming and informative. Chef Tony checked in multiple times and shared genuine conversations with us, which enhanced our experienced. As for the food, we ordered the shrimp saganaki and lamb chops. Both dishes were delicious, cooked to perfection and good portions. We received a complimentary dessert (loukoumades with gelato), which was a delightful way to conclude our dinner. I m definitely coming back to try their fresh fish of the day!

Tony the executive chef and his team did an incredible job with the food and service tonight! The white snapper fish was prepared to perfection. The octopus, squid ink linguine and dishes for our kids including the lamb was also prepared exceptional. I would highly recommend Petros82 to anyone looking for amazing Greek food and first class service.

The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food was exceptional. We had the saganaki, and dip selection as our apps and the european sea bass and lamp chops for our mains, all foloowed by the cheese baklava. Everything was stunningly good. Highly recommend!

We were visiting Toronto and were blessed to learn about Petros 82. Every aspect of our dinner was perfection. Executive Chef Tony learned I had some food allergies and adjusted ingredients to create a divine dinner. The octopus, oysters, sea bream, and spinach pie was delicious. Our server, Benjamin was so lovely. We live in NYC and are very selective about our dining. Chef Tony you created an amazing experience for us. When we are back in Toronto, you will see us again.

I visited the restaurant whilst on holiday in Toronto visiting my best friend the food was amazing. I love fish as long as no tail or head and they filleted this for me. Would definitely recommend a visit and will go back next time I am in Toronto

I love this place! We came on our anniversary day and I m so happy we pick this place. The food is great, we got the sea market where you pick a fish and they grill it for you. The fish was really done right, it is delicious and huge. Our waiter Rajiv and the chef are super friendly and really tried to provide the best experience. Will definitely come again.

If you ever want a peaceful, luxurious place where your waiters genuinely care about your dinner and well being I strongly suggest coming here! My waiter was Jack and he was the absolute most kindest, hard working, funny, professional AND super caring on how my table was doing!! When it comes to eating out at other places(especially in Toronto), I find plenty of waiters/waitresses tend to seat my table and leave whilst only checking upon us once or twice until we ask for the bill after 6 or 7 waiters pass by; here at Petros Jack didn t just take our orders and leave but would constantly come up to my table in a timely interval to take care of myself as well as my guests. I was super satisfied with my food and service; I will 100% be coming back!!

Warm friendly restaurant, everything was perfect from being greeted by hostess Sanskriti to our knowledgeable host Rajiv. Was a treat to get a tour from chef Tony on the variety of fresh fish available. Food servings were plentiful and made to Mediterranean perfection. It was an honour to meet the owner Peter which reflected the warm and family vibe of this restaurant. Would definitely recommend and dine again! Thank you for making this a special dining experience for us.

I came here for summerlicious and was very impressed. The food quantity and quality were so good. The best thing about my experience here though was my server Jack, he was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He really brought the experience above and beyond. I m excited to come back and try more of their menu!

There are not enough superlatives to say how good the food and service is here. My friends enjoyed our first meal here so much that we came back two nights later and asked the chef (Tony) to prepare his recommendations for us. Everything he chose for us was spectacular, with the highlight being a whole red snapper served with chimichurri. Jack was our server both nights and took exceptional care of us, remembering each of our likes and dislikes. Honestly, one of the best dining experiences we ve ever had.
